Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.
The whole earth is full of His glory
- "Isaiah 6:1, quickly, if you can find the pages of this powerful prophet. I do not want to be long — in fact, music team, if you stay right there and keep playing like you're playing, I want to walk through something with us tonight. I feel like this church is in a space and season that you are doing all that you can to press into the realm of the Spirit, to see God like you've never seen Him, feel Him like you've never felt Him. I pray there's somebody in the house that said, 'Lord, we just want more of You.' And I told you, Pastor, this in prayer, and I meant this: in the last ten years of traveling and preaching, there's something special here — something purely, purely special here. I can't tell you how many churches across this country do not have a prayer room filled with praying people like this church has. And I pray you don't take that just as a compliment; somebody ought to take that as a charge to say, 'We're going to pray even more.' Where are the praying people in the house? There's not one prayer meeting I'm missing. Prayer and communion is what brings the glory. I have felt the power of God so strongly in the prayer room, as I have felt every time I have come. It means a whole lot to a preacher to know that there are people praying — I just feel like there's power in the prayers of the people. 'In the year that King Uzziah died,' the prophet Isaiah said, 'I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and His train filled'" — somebody shout "filled" — "'the temple.' And above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. And can I tell you: what Isaiah saw — if you would just close your eyes in the Spirit, I think we would see the same thing in the house. He saw that these seraphims recognized the glory of God so much that they understood they were not worthy to even look Him in the face — that's why the two wings were covering their faces; they were not worthy to look at this King of glory. But in His presence, one cried unto another, saying, 'Holy, holy, holy'" — anybody believe and worship the Lord tonight? — "'Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts.' I pray you would hone in on this part, because there is something powerful here: He said, 'The whole earth' — somebody shout the whole earth — the seraphim said the whole earth — 'the whole earth is full of His glory.' The train of His robe filled the temple, but the whole earth was full — full, overflowing, overrunning, no more room left — full of His glory. And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. Anybody see a pattern there? Filled the temple; the earth full of His glory; and the house was filled with smoke. And Isaiah, recognizing that he is in the presence of something supernatural, glorious, and supreme, said, 'Woe is me; I am undone; I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King.' Somebody ought to lift up your heads and lift up your hands one more time, and feel after that King: 'My eyes have seen the King. We feel Your glory in this house right now, Lord.' You can be seated for a moment. I want to talk to you about giving in — somebody shout giving in — giving in to the glory. I don't want to take this for granted, and I pray you would hear me all the way at the back row: we don't just show up to church to hear good preaching; we don't just show up to church to hear anointed singing. If there was any church that ought to thank God for anointed musicians and anointed singers that sing under the unction and power of God — don't you dare take that for granted. We have been ushered into this atmosphere because God said, 'I hear a sound of pure worship, and I'm going to sit among My people; I hear a sound of pure praise, and I'm going to rest among My people.'"
Scriptures: Isaiah 6:1
Two things cannot fill the same space
- "But I come to tell someone that there is more at work here. When we show up to the sanctuary — if you could close your eyes in the Spirit and see what God sees — you would see that God Almighty is so glorious that He is filling all time and space: omnipotent in power, omniscient in wisdom, omnipresent in presence. God fills all time and space. And that should mean something to you, because it makes me feel good that when I drag my feeble flesh to the house of God, I know that the glory of God is going to meet me there. Can I tell somebody why your sickness ought to be afraid when you lift up your hands? Because even infirmity has to bow down to the glory of God; even depression has to bow. As the seraphim said, we are not worthy to stand in His glory; we can't look Him in the face. Don't you dare let the devil think that he's got a leg up on you, when no spirit, no wicked unclean thought, can do anything but bow in the glory of the Lord. I've not processed this like this before — forgive me, but I need to unpack this for a moment. There is a scientific principle, a physical law of space, that says two entities, two subject matters, cannot fill the same exact space at the same exact time. I need you to process that, and let that sit on the room right now: two things cannot fill the same exact space at the same exact time. Which lets you know why we battle so much, we war so much, and what the enemy's aim is among us: because you need to know that the whole earth is full. When you're walking to work, you're walking through the glory of God; when you get out of your car, you're pressing into the glory of God. The whole earth is full of His glory — that means volumetrically, in space and time. The reason why the adversary even exists is because, in order for wickedness to be real, for adversaries to be at work, they are in direct opposition to the glory of God: they literally have to rip through the fabric of God's presence, in rebellion and resistance against His very nature and His very glory. And this is why, in the very beginning, these angelic beings that are now fallen angels did not want to stand in the worshiping glory and the presence of God, and they said within their hearts, 'We don't want to be here in the glory anymore' — and that's why God dispelled them from His presence. And if you want to know why we battle so much: we battle so much because you've got to make up in your mind, every time you come to the house of God, that there ought to be a declaration in your spirit — that in order for me to get a hold of God, I can't give in to my flesh; I can't give in to my thoughts. You've got to resist the resistance. When the adversary is saying that you ought to doubt, you ought to say, 'I'm going to believe the report of the Lord.' When your mind is saying, 'I feel like giving up,' you can't give in to nefarious thoughts — you've got to give in to the glory; you've got to give in to a God that's saying, 'Keep going, keep going, keep going.' When your flesh says, 'We're not running tonight,' you ought to put that flesh in subjection and say, 'But I've come to worship Him; I've come to give in to the glory.' I'll make it make sense right now: I think if somebody in this sanctuary will start making some bold declarations in the Spirit, the opposition that you have been feeling and facing spiritually will flee before you know it — because there is no such thing as neutrality in the Spirit realm. Light and dark cannot mix; bitter and sweet cannot come out of the same fountain. Sometimes there is no such thing as gray area with God: you're either hot or cold; you're either in or out. There's no such thing as halfway, hybrid holy — you're either all the way in or you're all the way out. You're either a worshiper or you're not; you're either a prayer warrior or you're not; you're either a giver or you're not. You've got to make up in your mind — I'm making a declaration: I'm not giving in to the adversary; I would much rather give in to the glory. Somebody ought to go ahead and yield to the Spirit: who you yield your members to, that's whose servant you are. What I'm trying to tell you is, we've got a choice: you're either going to submit yourself to God, or you're going to submit yourself to Satan — there ain't no in between. You're either going to submit yourself to the will of God, or you're going to submit yourself to your own will and end up in destruction. But somebody ought to feel like Isaiah felt, when he said, 'Woe is me, Lord: I'm not worthy, but You are; I'm not holy, but You are. And if You can take unholy people and drag them into a place of holiness — I'm going to give in to the glory.' Anybody thank the Lord for the response this morning, and people feeling the pull? There are way too many times that people are at war with some stuff. You ought to stand with me right now. I don't know if you know about that power that you have on the inside of you: 'We have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.' Can I tell somebody that there is something supernaturally powerful about submitting yourself to God? Somebody says, 'Well, I ain't going to submit myself to nothing.' The Bible says that whom you yield your members to, that's whose servant you are — and you can serve those lying voices if you want to, but I want to believe God and His voice. There's something that happens every time we come into the presence of the Lord, and I feel like we need to make some declarations in the Spirit."
The empty, swept, and garnished house
- "The Bible tells us — and I pray you will forgive me, media team; I did not give you this verse — Matthew 12:43 says that when an unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. And then he said, 'I will return unto my house.' I want to tell you: you are in more than trouble when the adversary thinks that the vessel that God wants to inhabit is his house. You're in trouble when the adversary thinks that he has authority over your vessel. Can I tell somebody: you ought to make up in your mind that 'I'm not giving space to the enemy: he has no room in my mind; he has no room in my heart; he has no room.' You ought to not be tippy-toeing around in your house when your house should belong to Jesus. I take full authority over every unclean spirit that wants to war against my kids. I need some parents to get bold right now: I'm not afraid of the spirits that are battling my teenagers — they ought to be afraid of me. We have a treasure; we still have authority — somebody shout authority. He said, 'I will go back to my house.' The Bible says — this is Matthew 12:44, if you want to find it — when he returns to that house, he findeth it empty" — somebody shout empty — "empty, swept, and garnished. Sounds good. There's one big problem: in real estate, they sweep houses before they post them on the market; they empty them out, set them up, stage them up, garnish them, furnish them — they make it look just right and good. But ladies and gentlemen, it's still empty. And that's a big deal, because if no two subject matters can fill the same space at the same time, you need to make up in your mind who's going to fill your vessel: it's either going to be lies, or it's going to be the truth; it's either going to be victory, or spirits of defeat; it's either going to be faith, or it's going to be doubt. I come to tell you who runs this vessel: God runs this vessel. When you're not worshiping God, you're making a statement — because my hands belong to Jesus; I'm yielding my members to Him. Somebody ought to take a moment and yield your members to the Lord: I'm lifting up my voice, and I'm letting the adversary know whose side I'm on. And if you don't make a statement, if you don't make a declaration and let the adversary know — Ephesians 4:27 says, 'Neither give place to the devil.' I come to tell somebody: if you keep giving ear to negative people and negative voices, you're going to be depressed before you know it. But if you're going to do anything, you need to link up with somebody that knows how to get a hold of the glory: I want to find a prayer warrior; I want to find a faithful woman of God; I want to find somebody that believes in fasting. When you feel like you're wrapped up in despondency, you need to grab somebody by the hand and say, 'Let me lead you to the glory. You've been feeling down and defeated — let me get you to the glory. Let me get you to the glory — and don't you resist it; don't you pull away from it.' And the Bible says, because that house is still vacant" — somebody shout, "It's not full" — "because that house is still vacant, he said, 'I will go and find seven more spirits like myself.' And they come back to that house, and they said, 'Come on, fellas — we're going to have a house party now.' And the state of that man is worse than the first state. Which means to tell me this — and this is what I've led us to: we need to be full of the Holy Ghost. If you're going to walk on that secular job — not tomorrow, because we've got Labor Day; God help us; somebody shout, 'Thank You, Jesus' — when you get to that job Tuesday: do you think it's an accident that you feel like a Holy Ghost high by the time you get out on the interstate, and by the time you get back to your desk, it looks like it's gone? Anybody know what I'm talking about? You pull out of the parking lot, you feel so powerful; by the time you pull up to your desk, all the power is gone — because there's resistance; there's stuff trying to latch on to you that is in opposition to the glory of God that dwells within you. And if you're not full of the Holy Ghost — listen, if you've got to pray and fill up while you're filling up at the gas station, you'd better put that gas in the tank and say, 'Lord, this gas is high, but I give You the glory. I've got a car to drive, and I'm not letting go. I'm going to make it to the house of God every chance I get. And I've been battling some stuff — but I thank You, Lord. And I've been going through some stuff — but I thank You, Lord. And I've been dealing with some stuff — but I give You the glory.' Can I tell you how you defeat the enemy? You give God His glory — in the good times and in the bad, in the sickness and in the health, in the rich and in the poor: He's still worthy of the glory. When my flesh is tired, I'm giving in to the glory; when I feel like it's over, I've given in to the glory. There comes a point that you've got to make a spiritual declaration: I want to be full, overrunning, and overflowing, that the enemy can't even look at me like there's one ounce of vacancy — because there ain't no vacancy in this vessel for the adversary. If you ain't saying nothing, he's listening: he says, 'Well, maybe I've got a chance.' He ain't got no chance over here — because I'm going to worship, and let him know whose side I'm on; I'm going to praise God, and let him know whose side I'm on; I'm going to give in to the glory. We ought to praise Him until the temple is full; we ought to praise Him until the tabernacle's full; we ought to let the high praise of God be in our mouth until the train of His robe fills the temple. Don't you feel that the adversary can't stand it? The enemy can't stand it. You say, 'Preacher, I'm just worshiping.' No, sir: you're choosing whose side you're on; you're letting the adversary know, 'I'm only serving the One on the throne.' If you want to leave this house full of the Holy Ghost, run up to this altar as fast as you can."
Scriptures: Matthew 12:43; Matthew 12:44; Ephesians 4:27
You can't be full until you've emptied out
- "Anybody feel the glory of the Lord in the house right now? I want you to hear this — the Holy Ghost is about to work. I think we've got it backwards sometimes. I am not against coming to an altar and weeping out your eyes and praying for God to forgive us — but you can't be full until you've emptied out. I've preached in so many revivals, conferences, camp meetings, and you'd be surprised how many people pray, and they're seeking the Holy Ghost, and they ain't repented yet. I'm going to say it again: you can't be full of the devil and full of God at the same time; you've got to get rid of one to get the other. There's got to be a spiritual displacement, because two entities cannot inhabit the same vessel at the same time; they can't take up the same space. You can't give way to evil thoughts and have the Holy Ghost at the same time: you've got to take some thoughts into captivity and bring them into the obedience of Christ, that God can have free reign in your mind. Can I tell you where I think we got it wrong? When we pray, we ask God to forgive us: 'Lord, cleanse me; Lord, empty me; God, wash me and purify me.' And those are powerful prayers. There's one problem: if you stop praying there, you leave that door empty, and all you've got on your chest and on your forehead is a sticky note saying, 'I've still got room.' And you wonder why you try to rebuke the adversary, and he ain't running. Any young people want to hear me? We've got to get to the point that the same passion that we yield to when we are under peer pressure, and we give in to friends, and we give in to our family, and we give in to the lust of our own flesh — and we give in to thoughts that God didn't give us, and we give in to spirits of fear, a spirit that God didn't give you — what you need to do is not give in to the spirit of fear; you need to give in to the glory of the Lord. He said: 'I did not give you a spirit of fear; but the Spirit I gave you is a Spirit of power, and of love — and your mind won't be discombobulated; it will be sound, with the peace of God.'" The upload ends there, at the edge of the altar call.

God, somebody ought to be shouting right about now. THE WHOLE EARTH IS FULL. I said WHEN YOU'RE WALKING TO WORK, YOU'RE WALKING THROUGH THE GLORY OF GOD. God, I wish the Lord would help me right now. I say you're either going to submit yourself to the will of God or you're going to submit yourself to YOUR OWN WILL AND END UP IN DESTRUCTION. BUT SOMEBODY OUGHT TO FEEL LIKE ISAIAH FELT and he said, "Woe is me, LORD.
OH, I'M NOT WORTHY, BUT YOU ARE. I'M NOT HOLY, BUT YOU ARE. AND IF YOU CAN TAKE UNHOLY PEOPLE AND YOU CAN DRAG THEM INTO A PLACE OF HOLINESS, I'M GOING TO GIVE IN TO THE GLORY. I feel I felt this. CAN I TELL SOMEBODY, YOU OUGHT TO MAKE UP IN YOUR MIND THAT I'm not giving space to the enemy. he has no ROOM IN MY MIND. he has NO ROOM IN MY HEART. he has no room. Come on. You ought TO NOT BE TIPPY TO AROUND IN YOUR HOUSE WHEN YOUR HOUSE SHOULD BELONG TO JESUS. I TAKE A FULL AUTHORITY OVER EVERY UNCLEAN SPIRIT THAT WANTS TO WAR AGAINST MY KIDS. I TAKE A I NEED SOME PARENTS TO GET BOLD RIGHT NOW. I'M NOT AFRAID OF THE SPIRITS THAT ARE BATTLING MY TEENAGERS. THEY OUGHT TO BE AFRAID OF ME. I SAID WE HAVE A TREASURE. WE STILL GOT AUTHORITY. SOMEBODY SHOUT AUTHORITY. He said, "I will go back to my house." The Bible says that when he, this is Matthew 12:44, if you wanted to find it, he said, "I will go back to my house." And when he returns to that house, the Bible says that he finded it empty. Somebody shout empty. He finded it empty. swept and garnished. Sounds good. There's one big problem. In real estate, they sweep houses before they post them on the market. In real estate, they empty them out, set them up, stage them up, garnish them, furnish them. They make it look just right and good. But ladies and gentlemen, it's still empty. And that's a big deal because if no two subject matters can fill the same space at the same time, you need to make up in your mind who's going to fill your vessel. it's either going to be lies or it's going to be the truth. it's either GOING TO BE VICTORY OR SPIRITS OF DEFEAT. IT'S EITHER GOING TO BE FAITH OR IT'S GOING TO BE DOUBT. COME ON, SOMEBODY OUGHT TO MAKE SOME DECLARATIONS. I COME TO TELL YOU WHO RUNS THIS VESSEL. GOD RUNS THIS VESSEL. Come on, you ought to clap YOUR HANDS A LITTLE LOUDER. WHEN YOU'RE NOT WORSHIPING GOD, YOU'RE MAKING A STATEMENT BECAUSE MY HANDS BELONG TO JESUS. I'M YIELDING MY MEMBERS TO HIM. Come on, SOMEBODY OUGHT TO TAKE A MOMENT AND YIELD YOUR MEMBERS TO THE LORD. I'M LIFTING UP MY VOICE AND I'M LETTING THE ADVERSARY KNOW WHOSE SIDE I'M ON. And if you don't make a statement, if you don't make a declaration and let the adversary know, Ephesians 4:27 says, "Neither give place to the devil." I
come to tell somebody, if you keep giving ear to negative people and negative voices, I come to tell you, you're going to be depressed before you know it. I said, but if you're going to do anything, you need to leak up with somebody that knows how to get a hold of the glory. I want to find a prayer warrior. I want to find a faithful WOMAN OF GOD. I WANT TO FIND SOMEBODY that believes IN FASTING. I WANT TO COME ON, ANYBODY HEAR ME? WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE YOU'RE WRAPPED UP IN DESPONDENCY, YOU NEED TO GRAB SOMEBODY HEAD BY THE HEAD, AND SAY, "LET ME LEAD YOU TO THE GLORY." YOU'VE BEEN FEELING DOWN AND DEFEATED, LET ME GET YOU TO THE GLORY. COME ON. LET ME GET YOU TO THE GLORY. LET ME GET YOU TO THE GLORY. AND DON'T YOU RESIST IT. AND DON'T YOU PULL AWAY FROM IT. I GOT TO GET IT THE GLORY. COME ON, SOMEBODY LIFT UP YOUR VOICE. I GOT TO GET IT THE GLORY. I got to get the glory. And the Bible says that because that house is still vacant. Somebody shout, "It's not full." Come on, say it again. It's not full. Because that house is still vacant. He said, "I will go and find seven more spirits like myself." And they come back to that house. And they said, "Come on, fellas. We going to have a house party now." And the state of that man is worse than the first state. Oh God, I feel the Holy Ghost right now. Which means to tell me this, and this is what I've led us to. We need to be full of the Holy Ghost. If you're going to walk on that secular job tomorrow, not tomorrow because we got Labor Day. God help us. Somebody shout, "Thank you, Jesus." When you get to that job Tuesday, do you think it's an accident that you feel like a Holy Ghost high by the time you you get out on the interstate and by the time you get back to your desk, it looks like you it it's gone? Anybody know what I'm talking about? You pull out of the parking lot, you feel so powerful. Time you pull up to your desk, all the power is gone because there's resistance. There's stuff trying to latch on to you that is in opposition to the glory of God that dwells within you. God, I feel the Lord right now. And if you're not full of the Holy Ghost, listen, if you got to pray and fill up while you're filling up at the gas station, you better put that gas in the tank and say, "Lord, this gas is high, but I give you the glory., I got a car to drive., and I'm going I'm not letting Come on. I'm going to make it to the house of God every chance I get., AND I'VE BEEN BATTLING SOME STUFF, BUT I THANK YOU, LORD., AND I'VE BEEN GOING THROUGH SOME STUFF, BUT I THANK YOU, LORD., AND I'VE BEEN DEALING WITH SOME STUFF, BUT I GIVE YOU THE GLORY. CAN I TELL YOU HOW YOU DEFEAT THE ENEMY? YOU GIVE GOD HIS GLORY. IN THE GOOD TIMES AND IN THE BAD. IN THE SICKNESS AND IN THE HEALTH IN THE RICH AND IN THE POOR. HE'S STILL WORTHY OF THE GLORY. OH, I FEEL IT RIGHT NOW. YOU OUGHT TO GIVE IN TO IT. WHEN MY FLESH IS TIRED, I'M GIVING IN TO THE GLORY. WHEN I FEEL LIKE IT'S OVER, I'VE GIVEN INTO THE GLORY. There comes a point that you got to make a spiritual declaration. And I want to be full, overrunning, and overflowing that the enemy can't even look at me like there's one ounce of vacancy. Cuz there ain't no vacancy in this vessel for the adversary. I said there is no room in this vessel for the adversary. If you ain't saying nothing, he's listening. HE SAID, "WELL, MAYBE I GOT A CHANCE. MAYBE." COME ON. HE AIN'T GOT NO CHANCE OVER HERE. BECAUSE I'M GOING TO WORSHIP AND LET HIM KNOW WHOSE SIDE I'M ON. I'M GOING TO PRAISE GOD AND LET HIM KNOW WHOSE SIDE I'M ON. I'M GOING TO GIVE IN TO THE GLORY. COME ON, SOMEBODY OUGHT TO PRAISE HIM RIGHT NOW. COME ON, SOMEBODY OUGHT TO PRAISE HIM RIGHT NOW. Come on, WE OUGHT TO PRAISE GOD UNTIL THE TEMPLE IS FULL. Come on, WE OUGHT TO PRAISE HIM UNTIL THE TABERNACLE'S FULL. Come on. WE OUGHT TO LET THE HIGH PRAISE OF GOD BE IN YOUR MOUTH UNTIL THE TRAIN OF HIS ROBE FILLS THE TEMPLE. Come on. DON'T YOU FEEL THAT THE ADVERSARY CAN'T STAND IT? THE ENEMY
CAN'T STAND IT. I FEEL THE GLORY. YOU SAY, "PREACHER, I'M JUST WORSHIPING." NO, SIR. YOU'RE CHOOSING WHOSE SIDE YOU'RE ON. YOU LETTING THE ADVERSARY KNOW I'M ONLY SERVING THE ONE ON THE THRONE. If you want to leave this house full of the Holy Ghost, run up to this altar as fast as you can. Jesus. Jesus. If you don't mind giving me a tad more monitor. Just a tad more right here. Just a little bit. Right. Anybody feel the glory of the Lord in the house right now? I want you to hear this. Holy Ghost is about to work. I think that we got it backwards sometimes. I am not anti coming to an al altar and weeping out your eyes and praying for God to forgive us. You can't be full until you emptied out. I I've I've I've felt I've I've I've preached in so many revival, conferences, camp meetings, and you'll be surprised how many people pray and they're seeking the Holy Ghost and they ain't repent yet. I'm going to say it again. I say you can't be full of the devil and full of God at the same time. I say you got to get rid of one to get the other. There's got to be a spiritual displacement because two entities cannot inhabit the same vessel at the same time. they can't take up the same I hope you're hearing me. you can't give way to heed and his thoughts and have the Holy Ghost at the same time. you've got to take some thoughts into captivity AND BRING THEM UNDER YOUR OBEDIENCE OF CHRIST THAT GOD CAN HAVE FREE REIGN IN YOUR MIND. Can I tell you where I think we got it wrong? I think we got it wrong. When we pray, we we ask God to forgive us. Lord, cleanse me. Lord, empty me. God, wash me and purify me. And those are powerful prayers. There's one problem. If you stop praying there, you leave that door empty and all you got on your chest and on your forehead is a sticky note saying, "I've still got room. God, I wish the Lord would help me right now. And you wonder why you try to rebuke the adversary and he ain't running. Can I Oh, I I feel the Lord helping me right now. Any young people want to hear me? We got to get to the point that the same passion that we yield to when we are under peer pressure and we give in to friends and we give into our family and we give into the lust of our own flesh. Anybody want to help me right now? And we give into thoughts that God didn't give us and we give into spirits of fear. A spirit that God didn't give you. what you need to do is not give into the spirit of fear. you need to give in to the glory of the Lord. Come on. He said, "I did not GIVE YOU A SPIRIT OF FEAR BUT THE SPIRIT I GAVE YOU IS A SPIRIT OF POWER AND OF LOVE AND YOUR MIND WON'T BE DISCOMBOBULATED. IT WILL BE SOUND WITH THE PEACE OF GOD.
