Killing Baby Giants

I wonder if you can lift up your voice with anticipation. Come on. From the front to the back, can you lift up your voice with authority? Come on. Like you've got a God on your side. Come on. Like the Lord's living in your corner. Greater is he that's within me than he that is in the world. You ought to praise God like you believe that. Come. I wonder if you can lift up your voice a little louder and make war against every spiritual stronghold, against every satanic voice, and declare that God's great and greatly to be praised. One more time. and clap your hands like you love him. Oh, >> amen. Anybody thank God for Strong Tower Youth Camp on a Friday night. Wow. What a dynamic, spiritfilled, spiritled, weak A whole lot can happen in a week, can it? >> Anybody thank God for his word this week? Come on. Anybody thank God for the worship this week? I do not say this out of mere practice or for flattery, but I sincerely am thankful that this committee, this camp could have called any preacher within the Pentecostal and apostolic realm and to land on me to stand in this desk the last two nights is nothing short of the grace of God. Anybody thank God for the grace of God in your life? Any young people thank God for his grace and mercy? Come on. You don't have to have a receipt of regret, but you've got a receipt of redemption. I would I could spend all night thanking all of the committee members and all that are involved in this high level and next level effort, but I feel such a a burden and a fight in my spirit. And I I thank God for these young preachers that have poured out their souls in these morning services. Does anybody thank God for young preachers? Bishop Carpenter, I hate to even say the young preachers cuz I'm almost 40 and that means I'm almost not a young preacher anymore. And um they have handled the word of God so skillfully. And I thank God and I believe this generation is in good hands. Does anybody else believe that? Uh the panels, the questions. I want to thank I want to thank this this body of young people. You have been extremely engaged. You have been extremely responsive and even your questions today in the panel. Anybody thank God for brother Ericson and leading those morning sessions and panels this week. And my final thanks that I pray you will just tag along and hit your wagon to this. I know what them dorms really do to you. It brings the beast out in you. And stuff you wouldn't dare do at home. You just find it in your spirit to do it in the dorms. And right there in the middle of the dorms with socks on the floor and young people not taking showers are your strong youth leaders. Any young people, thank God for your youth pastors and your youth leaders. Come on, let them hear it. Come on. They're driving 15 passenger vans. You ought to let them hear it. And we thank God for all the ministers, all the preachers. Amen. In this house, I pray I pray you would thank God for your leadership. I've had you standing, but I want to tell you we're we're going to be seated soon because I'm not going to take a text. But I I feel such a burden in my spirit to take us with the help of God to another level. Anybody want to go to another level with God tonight? Come on. I still feel the remnants of victory from last night in the room. Come on. Anybody been latching a hold of victory in the house? Any young people feel like you're leaving victors? >> Whoa. I feel the Holy Ghost in the house. I said I feel dominion in the house. I feel authority. That's in the name of Jesus floating around in the atmosphere. Anybody want to leave a conqueror in the sanctuary? Young people have been getting their hands on victory. 5 minutes 45 seconds. Young people have been getting their hands on victory. But I want to tell you tonight, victory is not God's endgame. I just come to tell you, God wants to give you more than victory. Anybody? Does that sound good to any young people in the house? He wants to give you more than victory. You said, "Preacher, how is that possible?" Because there's a difference between being a victor. Somebody shout a victor. There's a difference between being a victor and being a conqueror. And in fact, I don't think God just wants us to leave conquerors. He wants us to leave Romans 8 and37 conquerors more than conquerors. I want you to connect with a young person where it's appropriate. We've prayed all week, but we're not going to do our proper prim preliminary pre- preaching prayer. We're going to pray until the authority of God sweeps over this room. >> Because whatever you came to youth camp battling, you won't be battling it no more. Come on. Any young people want to pray with me right now? Come on. I want you to connect with the neighbor. Come on. I want you to connect with the neighbor. I want you to close your eyes and throw your head back. Come I wonder for the next few moments, come on, you can get in the spirit realm. We wrestle against flesh and blood and our weapons are not corner. I wish somebody would pray in the spirit in the name of Jesus. Come on. All the way to the top row, the balcony. I wonder if somebody can pray in the spirit. Come on. Pray down strongholds. Come on. Push back against the invisible. Come on. Through the authority of the name of Jesus. Come on. I pray. I pray chain start breaking right now. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Come on. One more time. Just your voices. Lift them up. I feel the Lord in the house. Come on. Come on. The voices of the adversary that get in your ear, you ought to have a voice to push back. Come on. Use your voice if you want to be a victor. Amen. Tonight I want to talk to us about killing baby giants. Somebody shout killing >> baby giants. Don't let that graphic intimidate you. We're going to war tonight. I don't know if you feel like I feel, but I hope what I feel gets all over you. I say you need to get war on your mind right about now. Come on. You need to mean business with the adversary right about now. Clap your hands like you've got it. Come on. Clap your hands like you believe it. Clap your hands like you want it. Amen. God bless you. I know for some that have been in church culture for some time, you may have heard my statement in the onset about victory. Somebody shout victory. Come on. Anybody believe we serve a God that can make us victorious? I'll try it again. And I'm going to take this survey and hope it rings over the sanctuary. Anybody thank God that we serve a victorious God. Come on. He's never lost a battle. He's never lost a fight. And he never will. When you say victory, shout victory. Victory. >> When you say victory, something something anticipatory gets over our spirit. We get to shout and we get to dancing. We get to running believing that victory victory has an emotional state that can link itself to your spirit. And victory, ladies and gentlemen, young people, victory is powerful. Anybody believe that in this auditorium, victory is powerful. Come I think some young people that were holding those receipts last night uh and you start thinking about the times that you felt trapped in your bedroom uh with suicidal thoughts and you felt God getting a hold of your mind and you said, "God, I'm not going to battle those thoughts no more." Uh you thank God for victory. I said WE THANK GOD FOR VICTORY. Come on. When you're fighting your hormones and you've been battling thoughts of lust and you said, "I'M NOT GOING TO LET THAT LUST LINGER IN MY MIND. NOT ONE MORE MONTH. I THANK GOD FOR VICTORY. OH, somebody clap your hands like you thank God for victory. Victory is powerful. >> I I've come to preach the rafters off the house if somebody would help me and let you know that in God's realm, in God's goals and God's game plan, victory is not the endgame. You can get your hands on victory, but you must know something about victory. It's one thing to attain and get your hands on victory. It's a whole another thing to keep it. >> Not only is a whole another thing to keep it, but it is a whole another thing to synergistically and succinctly string victories together. Because what you may not realize about victory, victory is a singularity, a point of combat, games, sets, and matches. It is it is a partial a partial win. I wish somebody would hear me on a Friday night. I know what you're thinking. You said, "I thought we needed victory." You need victory. But you need a whole lot more than victory. >> Victory is partial. It is incomplete. Because out of these tribal wars, you might win one tribal war. >> But if you're going to win the whole war, you've got to win battle after battle after battle. >> I hope somebody's hearing me on the last row. I said you can get victory once and lose twice, and that means you didn't win. Come on. Anybody going to help me on a Friday night? Come on. If it's best three out of five, you can win two, but you better win the other three. Come on. I'm preaching to some young people that knows what it's like to leave a victor on a Friday night. Uh, and by the time school starts, uh, you're right back where you started. Oh, but with the HELP OF GOD, UH, I PRAY AND HOLY WOULD GET A HOLD OF YOU, UH, that you won't just be a victor, uh, but you will LEAVE THIS CAMP A CONQUEROR. UH, YOU WON'T JUST LEAVE A VICTOR, BUT YOU WILL LEAVE THIS CAMP MORE THAN A CONQUEROR. I WISH YOU WOULD CLAP YOUR HANDS LIKE YOU'VE GOT CONQUERING ON YOUR MIND. UH I WISH YOU WOULD CLAP YOUR HAND UH LIKE EGYPTIANS ARE TRAILING YOU. UH AND THE RED SEA IS BEFORE YOU. UH AND GOD SAID THIS ENEMY YOU'VE SEEN TODAY. UH YOU WON'T SEE HIM. NO. I WISH I HAD A SHOUTING YOUNG PERSON IN THE HOUSE. UH THIS IS THE LAST TIME. UH IT'S THE LAST WEEK. UH IT'S THE LAST CAMP. UH IT'S THE LAST STRUGGLE. UH IT'S THE LAST BATTLE. >> >> OH, YOU OUGHT TO GO AHEAD AND PRACTICE SOME CONQUERING right now and CLAP YOUR HANDS A WHOLE LOT LOUDER. COME ON, GO AHEAD AND MAKE THE DEVIL MAD AND DO IT A LOT. I WISH TWO YOUNG MEN WOULD RUN RIGHT NOW AND SAID, "NOW I'VE GOT THE ENEMY ON THE RUN. I'M GOING TO KEEP HIM ON THE RUN. WHAT I GOT MY HANDS ON, I AIN'T GIVING IT UP. WHAT I GOT MY SPIRIT? Oh yeah, it feels good, don't it? Somebody shout victory. Difference between victory and conquering is victory as a result of sequential battles. But conquering, that's a whole another conversation because the way it works in the realm of the spirit, God, I feel the Lord coming all over me right now. As we know what it's like to vacasillate as victims to the adversary that young people walked on this camp ground condemned by the weights of spiritual warfare. But now the weights are lifting and your head is lifting and your posture. Anybody feel stronger from Strong Tower? And the deal with victory is for you to go from being a victor to a conqueror. You've got to string victories, so many victories together. You've got to win the battle over and over and over there. I know we have valleys. I know we have mountains. We have low points. Uh and we have high points. Uh but I've come to preach to somebody uh that you can't practice your low points being your living room. Uh at some point uh you've got to make up in your mind uh I'm winning the war. Uh if I've got Oh, God. UH IF I'VE GOT TO MAKE UP MY MIND, UH THAT WHEN THE DEVIL POPS up his head, UH I'M GOING TO STOP ON IT. UH, AND WHEN HE POPS IT UP AGAIN, UH, I'm stepping on it again. Uh, AND WHEN HE SHOWS UP AGAIN, UH, I'VE GOT ONE MORE SWORD TO SWING. UH, AND WHEN IT I'M TALKING ABOUT KILLING GIANTS, UH, AND MAKING SURE THEY NEVER SHOW UP AGAIN. Come on, somebody clap your hands and give God glory. >> >> Somebody shout giants. >> Giants. >> So giants is what we have dealt with. The goal with God is for us to conquer our adversaries, not just have a whimpering wind. And you cannot process how powerful. Anybody going to hear me on a Friday night? Can I just talk to you for a little while? You cannot process how powerful it is to understand how important it is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, every single day to die daily and resurrect daily. To pray daily, read daily. Somebody will hear me right now. Can I tell you how you win the war? You win the small battles. I said, can I tell you how you win the war? You win the small battles. Can I I'm I'm gonna say it a third time until you put it in your bosom. Can I tell you how you win the war? Uh you win the battle over and over and over and over. Uh you keep treading upon territory and more territory. Uh and you get oh you get further and further into the jurisdiction uh of the spirit. Uh and before you know it UH YOU'RE WALKING IN THE CALLING OF GOD UH LIKE YOU'VE NEVER WALKED IN IT. UH YOU'RE WALKING IN THE AMMONITION OF GOD. UH AND YOU'RE NOT SCARED OF ONE DEVIL, ONE DEMON. UH uh can't process how powerful this is until you realize that there's power and dominion in details. Somebody shout details. There's power and dominion. The Bible talks about not despising the day of small things. Can I tell somebody the details do matter? I'm going to try it again for some young theologians. I said the details do matter. >> >> I know I know that the cliche would say brother Vosquez that that the devil dwells in the details but can I tell you that God dwells in the details as well. I said it does matter how you live. It does matter how you walk. UH IT DOES MATTER WHAT YOU WATCH. UH IT DOES MATTER WHAT YOU HEAR. UH IT DOES MATTER WHAT YOU SPEAK. UH IT DOES MATTER WHAT YOU ENTERTAIN. UH THE DETAILS MATTER. WHETHER YOU WILL BE A CONQUEROR OR YOU WILL BE CONQUERED. It matters the details. Somebody shout the details. You can't tell me the details don't matter to God. When God would take a man by the name of Noah, give him grace and tell Noah, I want you to build this boat, but I don't want you to do it your way. I want you to do it my way. Cuz my way is when you win. My way is when you survive the pressures of the world. Noah, you do it my way or no other way. I come to write remind somebody, I know you may be tired of hearing about holiness, but I come to tell you, God ain't tired of talking about it because that's the only way you're going to see the Lord. Uh, and he said straight is the way and narrow is the gate and few there be that find it. Uh, and that means that there's a whole lot of people trying to find it their way. Uh, AND THEY AIN'T FINDING GOD'S WAY. But I come TO TELL YOU, I WANT TO FIND IT. IF GOD WANTS ME TO DELVE IN THE DETAILS, THEN LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, YOU BETTER DO THE DETAILS. He said 300 cubits in length, 50 cubits, and width, 30 cubits in height. I want you to do it my way. I don't want the priest to put on their own prophetic garments. I want them to line the ephi with the op with the top with the topaz and the onyx and the sardis and the carbalker. I want them to wear purple robes WITH VEILS OF POMEGRANATE. I WANT YOU to do it with the details. You might not think the details matter until I talk to you for the next few moments from the text that I've want to bring to you. I I do not want to bore you. Am I boring anybody tonight? I do not want to bore you with Old Testament text, but there was ever a text to teach the details and why sometimes living for God is not about doing the big things right. Sometimes living for God is not just about doing the big things right. But ladies and gentlemen, I wish an elder would hear me and I wish they would affirm what I'm saying. It's not just about doing the big things right. Sometimes it's about doing the small things even better. There's a story in the book of Joshua chapter 11 verse 18 and 23 to be exact. I I've become a student of the word of God in so much that my my soul has been stirred. Anybody thank God for his word. My soul has been stirred. I I I want to encourage a young person. If you've never read the entire Bible in your life, you might want to do that because you can't defend what you believe if you haven't even read all that you believe. >> I said from Genesis to Revelation and all and everything in between, you've got to know exactly what you believe because the details might be in the middle somewhere. >> I I started not to take this text. There's a reason why I did not read it in the beginning. Some time ago, a group of my friends, preacher friends, began to press each other. We challenged each other not just to read the Bible through once. But this past year, we just came off of one of the most grueling seasons. This is not an edification. This is I I pray this is an inspiration. We came off one of the most grueling challenges of my life. We challenged each other that we would read the Bible through every two months. Which means that for some people who have never read the Bible one time, somebody shout one time. We're challenging ourselves to read the whole book front to back six times in a year. You might think that's a good thing until you get to the third time and you tell yourself, "I thought I just read this." And what you thought you just read, you didn't see it the first time. I come to tell you, you can never exasperate the word of God. Uh because his word is a living, breathing testament uh of his spirit. Uh you can read it once or a thousand times uh and it's still talking to you. Uh you can read IT 10 MILLION TIMES UH AND IT'S STILL TALKING TO YOU. Uh because in the beginning was the WORD UH AND THE WORD WAS WITH GOD. UH AND THE WORD WAS GOD. UH AND GOD IS A LIVING BREATHING IN. I DON'T KNOW IF YOU LOVE IT, BUT YOU OUGHT TO LOVE THE WORD OF GOD. SO, started recognizing that you reading these Bible. Anybody read a Bible reading program before? Just wave your hands. Don't you lie because we we repented last night. Come on, keep your hands up. I want to see it. You read a Bible reading program. Can I tell you what happens? Sometimes our spirit is just trying to get through the plan. That ain't God's plan. His plan is for you to process it, to maturate in it, to meditate in it. Cuz right in the meditation, there's some details you can't miss. Anybody hear me on a Friday night? And I I asked Brother Benson Holmes to help me read. I'm doing good on time. Praise God. I asked him to help me read. I wanted him to read from the perspective of a young person. If a young person, some of these young people that raise your hand, if you were trying to complete your Bible reading program, can I tell you what books you don't like? Books like we're about to read. When you can't pronounce the names, you say, "Skip, skip, skip, skip, skip." You start stuttering. You said, "Oh, no. We're going to pass that one." genealogies. I don't care who had kids. I just know they had kids. Y'all laughing cuz you know I'm telling the truth. But you better not skip the stuff that God wants you to get a hold of in this this book Joshua 11 18- 23. If you try reading this on a Monday morning before the madness in school, you might monotonously, mundanely, monotonally read this and you might miss some profound stuff. I've asked them to read this. Anybody ready? >> Anybody? Anybody like a good Bible study on a Friday night? I want him to read this. I do not want you to fall asleep. Somebody look at your neighbor said, "Don't fall asleep." I I don't want you to blink four times. I want you to really pay attention. And nod your head if you want to pay attention. I want you to really pay attention. I want you to look at every word. I want you to process every line. I don't want you to glaze off and get crosseyed. I want you to listen. I want you to read. Begin reading. And don't stop reading till you're done. Joshua made war a long time with all those kings. There was not a city that made peace with the children of Israel, save the Hivites, the inhabitants of Gibian. All other they took in battle. For it was of the Lord to harden their hearts that they should come against Israel in battle that he might destroy them utterly. >> Don't miss the details. >> And that they might have no favor, but that he might destroy them as the Lord commanded Moses. >> There's some good stuff in here. And at that time came Joshua and cut off the Anakims from the mountains from Hebrin. >> We talking about giants. Keep going. >> From Anab and from all the mountains of Judah and from all the mountains of Israel. Joshua destroyed them utterly with their cities. There was none of the Anakims left in the land of the children of Israel. Only in Gaza, in Gath, and in Ashdod there remained. So Joshua took the whole land according to all that the Lord said unto Moses. And Joshua gave it for an inheritance unto Israel according to their divisions by their tribes. And the land rested from war. Did anybody catch what just happened? You glaze over that. You run over that. You speed right through that. But ladies and gentlemen, there's some powerful stuff in the details here. I said there there is a key and an access to dominion spiritually. Right. Right. Right. smack dab in the middle of Aab and Deir and the Hivites and the Anakims and our spirit want to skip it. Skip it. Skip it. But can somebody for the next few moments help me not skip it? Come on. Can somebody Can some young people help me for the next few moments? We ain't skipping it. I'll tell you why you can't skip it. Because when you start processing what God was trying to do in his people, uh, God was trying to fulfill a promise that he had given them a long time ago. Uh, that I'm GOING TO GIVE YOU LAND THAT YOU DID NOT BUILD THE HOUSES. I'M GOING TO GIVE YOU LAND THAT YOU DID NOT DIG THE WELLS. UH, I'M GOING TO GIVE YOU VINEYARDS THAT YOU DID NOT PLANT THE SEEDS. UH, I come TO TELL SOMEBODY, UH, YOU ARE NOT A POOR, PITIFUL SAINT OF GOD. UH, YOU ARE A CALLED OUT PECULIAR PEOPLE. uh uh that YOU SHOULD SHOW FOR THE BREAK. ANYBODY WANT THE PROMISED LAND? ANYBODY WANT FAVOR? ANYBODY WANT DOMINION? ANYBODY WANT the Here it is. Verse 18. Read it. Go. War a long time. >> Joshua began to make war against the adversary, all the kings. Verse 19. There was not a city that made peace with the children of Israel. The Bible SAYS THERE WAS NOT ONE CITY. SOMEBODY SHOUT NOT ONE. >> NOT ONE CITY THAT CHOSE TO MAKE PEACE WITH THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL. UH YOUNG PEOPLE, THAT MEANS YOU WILL HAVE ADVERSARIES. UH IT AIN'T NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO STOP IT. UH YOU WILL HAVE TEMPTATION. UH YOU WILL HAVE FIGHTS. UH AND THAT COMES WITH THE TERRITORY. >> Keep going. >> Save the Hivites. Only one nation the Hivites chose chose to try to make peace with the inhabitants of Gideon. But all the other all the others they made battle. Verse 20. >> For it was of the Lord to harden their hearts that they should come against Israel in battle. >> Boy, there's some good stuff right here because sometimes what you think is the devil is God setting you up for dominion. >> That's good. >> You didn't hear what I just said. I said that popup that pops up in the corner of your computer uh is sometimes not to tip you uh but SO THAT YOU MAY TAKE A STRONG UH OVERCOMING AUTHORITY OVER UH THE THING THAT'S been tempting you. UH COME ON. AT SOME POINT YOU DON'T CLICK IT. UH AT SOME POINT YOU DON'T LIKE IT. UH AT SOME POINT YOU DON'T LOVE IT. UH AND THE DAY YOU DON'T LOVE IT UH IS THE DAY YOU TAKE A SWORD TO IT. COME ON. IT'S NOT THERE TO DESTROY YOU. UH IS THERE SO YOU MIGHT DESTROY IT. Come on. YOU OUGHT TO PRAISE GOD WITH ME LIKE YOU LEAVING HERE UH SAYING THAT THING I FOUGHT I WON'T FIGHT IT NO MORE. UH TONIGHT'S THE LAST NIGHT. UH TONIGHT'S THE LAST NIGHT. Keep reading. For it was of the Lord to harden their hearts that they should come against Israel in battle. that the Lord hardened their hearts so that they would come against Israel, >> that he might destroy them utterly and that they might have no favor. I don't I don't know whose hair I'm trying to tell you young people. He brought adversary after adversary after adversary in front of them so they can take them out one by one. One. Don't you tell me you CAN'T WIN THE WAR. DON'T YOU TELL ME YOU CAN'T WIN THE BATTLE. DON'T YOU TELL ME. I NEED SOME YOUNG MEN TO HEAR ME RIGHT NOW. YOU BETTER WIN IT BEFORE YOU'RE MARRIED. UH YOU BETTER WIN IT BEFORE YOU'RE PREACHING. UH YOU BETTER WIN IT. Almost there. Brother Donnie, come on up here. Keep going. That they would have no favor, but that he might destroy them as the Lord commanded Moses. And at that time came Joshua and cut off the Anakims. >> I want you to hear this. >> I want everybody to lock in. Somebody elbow your neighbor and say, "Lock in." >> I felt that. Y'all like that, didn't you? Let's do that again. We're going to do that again. Elbow your other neighbor and say, "Lock in." Cuz you can't miss what happens next. The Bible says that it came time that Joshua started cutting off and his conquest of this land started cutting off the giants. The Anakims, somebody shout giants. The Anakims was a remnant of giants. He started making war against them. And and the reason why you can skip it is because the Bible says he they started climbing up in the mountains where these giants dwelt in Deir and Hebrin and Anab. And just because you can't pronounce the beer doesn't mean that it's not a detail you don't need to know. The pier and AAB and from all the mountains of Judah. Read that last part. That Joshua what? >> Joshua destroyed them utterly with their cities. >> Somebody shout utterly. >> Utterly. >> Come on, say it again. Utterly. >> Utterly. >> Come on, say it with some uncction. Utterly. >> Utterly. It was the will and the plan of God for them to destroy their adversaries utterly completely. No remnant, no ruminance, no residuals left. Don't save it for later. You don't get victory at camp meeting and pick it back up when you leave. >> >> You don't break up with it at youth camp and lock back in it when you leave. I said if God is trying TO GIVE YOU ANOINTING UH YOU BETTER LET the uncction of THE LORD UH GET ALL OVER YOUR SPIRIT UH THAT YOU MIGHT DESTROY SPIRITS UTTERLY. I'm not doing it no more. UH I'M NOT GOING BACK NO MORE. UH I'M NOT STRUGGLING WITH IT NO MORE. >> Somebody say lock in. >> Verse 22. >> There was none of the Anakims left in the land of the children of Israel. Only in Gaza, in Gath, and in Ashdod. The >> Bible says that not one of the Anakims, somebody shout giants. Not one of the Anakims was left. All the Anakims are dead. This remnant of giants, all of them died. But somehow in the conquest, the people of God got comfortable and took the foot off the pedal. I'm telling somebody, that prayer that you prayed in these altars, you don't take your foot off the pedal when you leave this property. You push it even harder. I said, "You don't run at youth CAMP AND DON'T RUN IN THE YOUTH SERVICE UH ON A FRIDAY NIGHT AT YOUR CHURCH. UH, YOU RUN EVEN FASTER." I SAID, "YOU DON'T DANCE AROUND IN THE ALTAR AT YOUTH CAMP AND DON'T DANCE BACK AT HOME. UH, YOU HOLD DOWN THE FORT. YOU STAND 10 TOES DOWN. UH, AND YOU DESTROY it out of it. The reason why you cannot go walking around talking about is not that big of a deal is because big deals don't start big deals. We've got the Anakims annihilated. Everything's good, right?" And the last and final line says, "And the land rested from war." And the land rested from war. How long you think the devil's just going to let you keep victory before he shows up again? How long you think the adversary is just going to let you walk around in anointing before he starts agitating you again? Cuz yeah, they had a few battles and spats with some adversaries. But when they reached a place of comfort, they felt like they didn't have to fight anymore and they took their foot off the necks of the adversaries and rested. Anybody just curious for the sake of this camp conversation on a Friday night? Anybody just curious how long was it before God's people were entangled in a real war again? How long the devil's just going to let you walk around with strength before he shows up with chains again? Theologian would tell you it was some 375 years that God's people felt victorious. But there's a big polarity between a victor and being a conqueror because conquerors kill baby giants before they grow. Because all of a sudden, some 375 years later from Joshua 11 and23, you fast forward through the pages and you land on the prophet Samuel, 1st Samuel to be exact, the 17th chapter and the 23rd verse. 375 years later. Can I tell you why you don't leave baby giants running around in Gaza, Gath, and Ashdot? It's because there's a giant that you heard his name before. A GIANT THAT STOOD OUT IN THE FIELD OF THE VALLEY OF ELA, CURSING AND MOCKING GOD'S PEOPLE, SAYING, "I THOUGHT YOU WERE THE CHILDREN OF THE LORD. I thought you had that spirit of the living God. I thought you had the Holy Ghost taunting, tormenting God's people day and night, 40 days, twice a day, 80 times. I need somebody to lock in even tighter right here. Ladies and gentlemen, young people, GOLIATH SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN BOLD. OH, I hope somebody WILL HEAR ME ON A FRIDAY NIGHT. The moment it breaches the womb, can I tell you what I want you TO DO WITH THAT BABY?" THAT'S WHY THE SPIRIT OF ABORTION that's reigning heavily in this earth, it's a spirit from hell. I say you got to deal Oh God, I feel the Lord all over me right now. You got to deal with the lineage and the line of warriors if you don't kill it when it is little.
