Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.

Samson's last prayer

  • "Somebody shout hallelujah. The Holy Ghost is in the house: the miracle worker is working, the soul saver is saving, the life changer is changing lives. Is anybody thankful for revival that's in the land? God's doing something — we just want to be a part of what God's doing. Somebody ought to hitch your wagon to the Spirit right now and thank God: 'Lord, where You lead us, we're going.' I'm not staying in the valley; I'm not staying in the darkness. We're climbing the mountain. I let Pastor do his thing, because he invited me here, and I ain't going to get in trouble: if he wants to preach, brother, you can have it — he said he testifies better than I preach. Anybody feel the joy of the Lord, the strength of the Holy Ghost in the house? Judges chapter 16, and verse number 25 through 28, tonight. I feel such an unction, such a flow of God's Spirit — and I wish he would have kept going, because every word that came out of his mouth was confirmation after confirmation. And if some of you knew how close you were to destroying the adversary that's been trying to destroy you — you've got the devil on the run right now. The only thing that should be nervous in the room is the spirits of the enemy: God's not nervous; the church, we're not nervous. Somebody's about to get their shout back tonight — because when the adversary is on the run, he makes one final attempt: he makes one final attempt to attack you, to discredit you, to destroy you. But I'm glad I'm on team Jesus tonight, because if God be for us — if God's in my corner — there's nothing the adversary can do against me. It's an attempt; it's a lie; it's a mirage. If God be for us. So I've come tonight to help somebody find revelation and understanding: that if God is on your side, if God believes in you, there's a chance that victory is very near. The Bible declares, Judges 16: we know Samson to be a great man; we know that God used him; His anointing was upon him. But we also know that in his life there were many points of failure. But can I tell you: failure is not final, as long as God is on the throne. And the adversary made one final attempt to attack the character, the integrity, the spirit of Samson. The Bible says in verse 25: 'And it came to pass, when their hearts were merry' — they were eating and drinking; they were rejoicing, and declaring, thinking that they had the victory. But the adversary has thought that way too many times: he thought that he had won at Calvary, but he didn't know that there was resurrection three days later. And so the Bible says that they called for Samson, that he might make them sport. They tried to mock him; they wanted to be entertained by him: 'Let Samson come, that he may make for us sport.' And the Bible says that they called Samson out of the prison house, and he made them sport. He could not see — his eyes were plucked out; his hair was barely growing back; he looked a mess. And in his mess, he was being mocked. I've come to preach to somebody: the adversary may be mocking you, but God will get the last laugh. The adversary might have you on the ground — but 'Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise.' I'm not staying there; I'm not laying there; it's not over. The Bible says they set him between two pillars, and Samson called for the lad that held him by the hand, and he said, 'Suffer me that I may feel the pillars whereupon the house standeth, that I may lean upon them.' And now that house — the house where men and women were gathered, Philistines, all the lords of the Philistines — the Bible says there were about three thousand men and women upon the roof, as they made sport of Samson. But there's something that I love about God — I'm just preaching right now; I'm just going to take my liberty: all it takes is one moment. Anybody believe what I just said? All it takes is one Sunday night, one altar call, one sermon, one chance, one moment — and all it takes is one prayer. The Bible says that as Samson is wedged between these two pillars, the adversary made one final attempt to destroy him — and Samson had one final prayer. The Bible says: 'And Samson called unto the Lord' — anybody thankful we can still call unto the Lord when we're going through it? I know where my strength comes from — 'and he said, O Lord God, remember me' — somebody shout, 'Remember me' — 'I pray Thee, and strengthen me' — somebody shout, 'Strengthen me' — 'I pray Thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged' — somebody shout, 'Avenge me' — 'of the Philistines for my two eyes.' I want to preach to anybody that feels like, even in this revival, you've been under attack spiritually. And I want to tell you: if you are under attack — if you are under the affliction of the adversary — Pastor, can I just steal your sermon real quick? Good. If you're under attack — good. Because that means God is doing something. Anybody thankful? I want you to praise Him right now until you feel something; praise Him until you've got the adversary in the corner. You've got one more prayer in you; you've got one more dance in you; you've got one more shout in you. It's not over yet. A simple title, a simple thought: 'Remember me, strengthen me, avenge me.'"

Scriptures: Judges 16:25-28

In defense of Samson

  • "I was in prayer tonight, and I started thinking about some things. In my studying recently, God's been dealing with me about the way that we see the Word of God. I've tried my best to be a student of His Word, because it's one thing to hear the Word, and a whole nother thing when you get it for yourself. And I told you early in the revival: I've been looking at these Bible stories a whole lot differently from the times of Sunday school days — and I feel like if my Sunday school teachers heard me preaching, they might be offended, because there are some things they used to tell us in Sunday school, and they did not tell us the whole story. In your early years, if you recall the life of Samson as a child: Samson is a hero. Everybody loves Samson. He's strong; he seems vigilant and ferocious; nothing seems to fear him. I don't know too many men that can tie three hundred foxes together; I don't know too many men that can put the gates of the city upon their back. In the mind of a child, these feats are supernatural — because they are. Can I just tell you right now: you can't do some things by yourself, but with God, we can do all things. You might feel like the adversary is getting the best of you — but when the Spirit of the Lord comes upon you, David said, 'I can run through a troop; I can leap over a wall.' If God is for you, God's for you. And Samson was a man we see as more than lifelike. But then I got to my teenage years, and they hurt my feelings — because then they started telling me how much of a failure Samson was. They were trying to tell a young teenager: 'You've got to be careful who you're talking to; you've got to be careful who you date, who you get in relationships with.' And they started telling me about Samson going down to Timnah, and Samson getting caught and entangled with Delilah. Can I tell you: if you're going to get victory, you can't play around with the devil. You can't play around with the adversary and get victory over the adversary. You can't give place to the thoughts; you can't give place to the fear; you can't keep entertaining the thoughts of fear and get victory. You've got to plead the blood of Jesus over your mind, and say: 'No, no, no, devil — I belong to Jesus. There's no room in my house; there's no room in my heart; there's no room in my family. We have the victory.' They hurt my feelings, telling me Samson was a failure — because out of all the feats he had in his life, at the end of his life the Bible declares Samson was in a place of affliction: the adversary had mocked him and ridiculed him, destroyed his character, destroyed his name — and at the end of the day, all I knew about Samson as a young man was that he failed God miserably; he did not do what God had called him to do; he was an utter failure, a disgrace to the grace of God. And it hurt my heart and soul to believe that my hero could be a failure. But can I tell you: that's not the end of the story. Because in their final attempt to mock Samson — they plucked out his eyes; it was a plan, a plot against him; they entangled him; they got him to his point of weakness — I'm preaching to people right now: it's at this low point in his life, his hair shaven, his eyes plucked out, that it seems like Samson's life is bleak. I know you think I'm preaching about Samson right now — for a long time, Samson's been demonized. I've heard enough preaching; I've been to enough camp meetings and conferences as a young person, to know that Samson has been demonized, because he seems to be the poster child for perpetual failure. But I'm going to defend Samson tonight — because the more I look into this thing, I don't think the story is as distraught as we think; I don't think Samson was as much of a failure as we think he was. Because if that was the case, then Hebrews 11:32 would be a lie. Because you've got to go to the end of the life, and at the back of the Book you turn over to the New Testament, and wedged right in between the patriarchs and the prophets of faith — among Gideon, and Barak, and Jephthah, and the prophet Samuel, and David the king — who's right there in the middle? Right there in the middle of great men, men of righteousness, men of faith: Samson. Doesn't look like Samson's a failure, in the middle of the faithful. Hey, I come to preach to somebody: if you just keep on hanging around the church, and you keep being faithful when you feel like a failure — if you keep showing up when the devil's telling you, 'Stay home' — when you keep on praying when he's telling you, 'God's not listening' — I promise you, my friend: at the end of the story, you're going to be an aisle-runner, a devil-chaser, a soul-saver. It's not the end of the story if you keep being faithful. I fall flat on my face; I've failed God many times — but I keep on coming anyway, and telling God: 'I'm going to win; I've got to win; the adversary can't destroy me.' Somebody's got to get a resolve in your spirit, and say: 'I know the adversary is mocking me; the adversary is fighting me — but I've got to fight back in my spirit.' If you've got a fight in your spirit, you ought to praise God like you've got a fight in your hands: it's with your hands that you fight. 'O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.' My voice declares: I am victorious. I want to defend Samson — because, contrary to what the story looks like, I think Samson is more reflective of us than we think. Because if we're honest — Brother McCoy, I hope I don't make us look human — but the last time I checked, every last one of us has mountaintops. But that's not all: every last one of us has valleys. We have high points in our lives; we have low points in our lives. We have times where we feel the anointing, the power, the Spirit of God, like we feel right now — and there's some days we lock ourselves in the room and we don't want to come out; we don't want to talk to anybody, because I don't feel what I felt on a Sunday night service on Tuesday morning, when the adversary is kicking my teeth in, and I've said some things I shouldn't have said, and I've done some stuff I shouldn't have done, and I ball up in a corner, and I look like a failure. I feel a whole lot like Samson felt — because the Bible says the Spirit of God came upon him at times. Listen: unless you're having weekly prayer meetings down at Walmart, you can't claim to be super spiritual. I don't think we're just all in the heavens of the heavens, in the third heaven, every day of our life: what goes up must come down. And we find ourselves at low points, begging God for mercy, begging God for strength — and it sounds a whole lot like Samson's prayer. But can I tell you something? It's the adversary's trick: I gave you a small window — the benefit of the doubt — that we have high points and we have low points. But it's the trick of the adversary that when you're in your low point, he wants you to stay in your low point. If we're going to have high points, and we're going to have low points, and life is going to be a struggle — you'd better make sure that you don't live in struggle. It's one thing to battle; it's one thing to fight; it's a whole nother thing to stay defeated. If I could help anybody on a Sunday night: you ought to leave the house with victory — because defeat is not an option; failure is not an option. It's one thing to have low points — but you can't let your low points become your living room; you can't live there, and feel sorry for yourself every time you mess up. Because the Bible says that a just man — a righteous man — falleth. I think I'm still preaching the Book, but somebody don't believe what I'm telling you: how is he righteous, if he falls? I'll tell you how: because it's not the falling that makes you faithful — it's the getting up that makes you faithful. You become righteous — you become wedged right in the middle, Samson, with the fathers of faith and righteousness — when you say: 'I'm not staying here; I'm not letting the devil get the best of me. I might have lost last week — but this week is another week.' I pray somebody gets a charge in your spirit — enough to get off your seat and say: 'I'm not letting him win; I refuse to let him win. I can't sit in failure. I can't dwindle down in decadence, despair, depression, and defeat. I'm not staying.'"

Scriptures: Hebrews 11:32

Things in heaven, things in earth, things under the earth

  • "But here's the truth of the matter: we've got to change our philosophy about who God is in our life. Listen, I don't have the time to preach it like I want to preach it — but I've got to tell you that there is so much power in revelation, in knowing who Jesus is, that if you really understood, with every fiber of your being, the power that is woven in the fabrics of the name of Jesus, there is not one day that a thought would come to your mind that you would let it sit there. You can cast down every imagination, and every thought that exalts itself against the knowledge of God — because the darts of the enemy are not greater than the hand and the dominion of God. 'Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world.' Can I tell you how powerful revelation in God is? I'm almost to where I'm going — I've just got to get to his prayer. We've got to change our philosophy: Brother Preston, I've been digging in this thing. I've been trying to find stuff — not to find new revelation, but because I want to read every word; I don't want to miss the victory that God has for me, if it's sitting right there in that Book. And I've sat at enough camp meetings and conferences as a young man that they didn't tell me the whole story — because if you understand the power of Philippians 2:10, you will understand that we also subconsciously skip over the good part. The Bible says that at the name of Jesus — I wish somebody knew what I know: at the name of Jesus — I can stop preaching right there. All power, all glory, all dominion, all truth, all love, all grace, all victory, all salvation, all freedom, all joy — there is no other name under heaven: that's why people have been coming to that pool of baptism, because there's no other name under heaven, given among men, whereby we must be saved, except that name. That's beautiful revelation — but there's more. I think we subconsciously misquote this whole passage. I don't want you to raise your hands, because we've all done it: we all quote Philippians 2:10 like this: 'At the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.' Ain't that how we quote it? Tell the truth; shame the devil. We quote that one day, every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord — but we take out the power that's in the middle. If you miss what's in the middle, you'll miss the victory that's there for you. The Bible says that at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow — of things in heaven. I'll tell you why we skip over that part: this middle part — we think that 'every knee shall bow, every tongue shall confess' is about earthly things. We think it has something to do with the sinner and the saint, that one day both the sinner and the saint are going to have to bow down in obedience to the power, the name, the majestic nature of the monotheistic one God in Christ Jesus — and that's the truth, but that ain't the whole story. I want you to see that last part real good: things in heaven, things in earth, and things under the earth. Boy, if you knew what I know, you'd be shouting right now: not only do sinner and saint have to bow in obedience to God, but every creeping demon in hell, every foul, adversarial force that's coming against you — can I tell you: the thing that's attacking you has to bow down at the name. When you understand the revelation of God, you would understand: the stuff that's trying to destroy you has to bow down. When you start saying 'Jesus, Jesus, Jesus' — depression has to bow; sickness has to bow; fear has to bow. There's some spirits bowing right now: they say, 'You come to torment us, Jesus? We have to fall at Your feet. You came before our time. We have to bow in Your presence.' Somebody ought to have a Holy Ghost fit right now, and start praying in the Holy Ghost: the adversary has to bow. You said, 'Preacher, I don't know if I understand; I don't know if I can get on board with that revelation.' Well, you might not can get on board with that revelation — but the adversary already got the revelation, because 'thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well' — but every demon in hell begins to tremble at the thought that they have to bow the knee. So here it is: preacher, how do we tap into that power? How do we get complete victory in our family? How do I overcome the stuff that's been overtaking me? How do I break free from the stuff that's been binding me? You've got to pray like Samson prayed — because there's something that Samson did. The reason why I said I've got to come to his defense: I'm not coming to the defense of his faults and his failures, his flaws and his fragility — I'm coming to the defense of Samson because of the way he finished. It's not how you start; it's not how it's going now: 'He that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.' If you keep crawling on hands and knees — if you keep coming with every ounce. David and Samson had the same prayer: they knew the same God; they knew the same power in His name. David said in Psalm 18, he said: 'It is God that avengeth me.' When you understand that the stuff you've been battling with might be overtaking you — but it can't overtake God. I'm preaching to a people that's in the midst of the fire, in the midst of the flames, in the midst of turmoil, in the midst of the storm: I come to tell somebody on a Sunday night that if God is listening, you've got to open up your mouth and pray to the Avenger; you've got to open up your mouth and pray to the Deliverer."

Scriptures: Philippians 2:10-11; Psalm 18

Remember me — put me back together

  • "I'm almost done preaching: give me seven minutes. Here it is: because the reality of the fact is, if Samson did anything right — I'll tell you why he ended up in Hebrews 11:32: it's because he knew how to pray. Listen: if anybody tells you it don't matter how you pray, they are lying to you. Because when you start being transparent with God, and say, 'God, I've done everything I can do, and the adversary is still winning' — God can't help but come to your rescue, because you're His child; you are called by His name. And there's not one day that you would open up your mouth and begin to cry unto God, and He'll just sit there and let you cry: He said, a broken heart and a contrite spirit He will in no wise turn away. When you open up your mouth and cry, God opens up His ears and listens. I want to preach to some people that need the divine strength of God. 'Well, preacher, we're in revival.' Hey — that's why we need strength. It is the will of God that all of us get the victory: not ten percent, not thirty percent — every last one of us needs to have victory. Now, how do I get it? You've got to pray like Samson prayed. Samson got to the point that he realized he'd lost — what about the ones he won? What about the ones he lost? Because at the end of the day, Samson lost the locks of his hair; he lost his eyes; he lost his strength; and he lost his ability to feel his God. And when you get to the point that you lose everything, the only thing that will make you whole is, you've got to pray. You don't understand the power of Samson's prayer until you take his prayer piece by piece. Some prayers — listen, there are some prayers that are better than other prayers. The Bible says, when you pray, don't pray amiss: you can pray, and let stuff come out of your mouth, and you don't mean it with your heart. You can say stuff with your mouth, and you're really close to meaning it with every fiber of your being — but there's some reservation; you're holding back something. But can I tell you: when you get in a prison, and you get in darkness, and you are being afflicted by the adversary and being made fun of by the enemy, there's a prayer that comes out of you that you will scratch and claw your way out with — because your final prayer is: 'God, I just want to get the devil back for everything he did to me. I just want to pray one last prayer. I just need one last hope. I just need one last chance, for everything that the devil stole from me. I've got to get one prayer out that'll get everything back.' There's some people saying: 'I feel that, preacher. I've lost too much; he stole too much — and I'm going to get it back.' If you're going to get your victory back, it starts with a prayer. If you're going to get your joy back, it starts with a prayer. If you're going to get your family back, it starts with a prayer. But what kind of prayer, preacher? You've got to get down to the depths of your spirit, and say: 'O God.' If Samson did anything right, he opened up his mouth and he said, 'O Lord God' — because when I ran out of money, I lost my friends; I've lost my family; I'm losing my mind. If you've still got God to call on, there's a chance. There's nothing pretty about that; there's nothing eloquent about that; there's nothing cute about that: it's the depths and the groaning of desperation — 'I'm tired of losing; I'm tired of being beat; I'm tired of being afflicted. O God.' When you call upon the name of the Lord — every knee — he said, 'O Lord God.' He can't see where he's walking; he can't even see the pillar that's right next to him. He said, 'Lead me to that pillar — lead me to the rock that I can lean on.' You're not hearing me in the room: lead me to a God that I can lean on, when the adversary is over me. The adversary is on the rooftop, laughing, mocking, scoffing, making fun and sport of Samson; they're looking their nose down at him: 'We got you. You thought that you were a child of God; you thought you were strong; you thought you were anointed — but look at you now. Look at where you are now. Where's your God now? Anybody hear me in the room? The devil's talking to you — I'm talking to you — the devil's talking, but I hope you're hearing what God's saying a little bit louder: 'Where's your God now? Where's your faith now? Where's your church now?' And I can see Samson, hearing the echoes of laughter, the drunken stew of men and women mocking him and mocking his God — and something got a hold of Samson, and he gets the gumption and the gall to start praying. Because if I can just get the devil back one time — and when you start praying like Samson: Samson said, 'O Lord God, remember me.' I know some of you feel like God's not listening to you — but I'm telling you, God still knows your voice. He still knows your voice. I know you may have been away from church for seven years, and you feel like God doesn't want to hear anything you have to say. But when you start praying like Samson, God's memory bank will be open: 'O God, remember me.' When you start looking at Samson's prayer — when you start looking at the Avenger's prayer — when Samson's saying, 'Remember me,' he's not just telling God to think on me again and let Your eyes be set upon me: that's one translation, but the next translation to me is the best translation — because you have to understand that something that is membered is something that is assembled. We're one body: we're one body, with many members; we're one church, with many members — the members make up the whole. And Samson, at this point, is not whole: he's afflicted, he's bruised, he's blind. And Samson lets out a prayer and said: 'God, I know You're the God that can take men that have been dismembered—' I hope somebody's hearing me right now: 'I lost my eyes; I lost my hair — but can You put me back together again? God, I feel broken; I feel like Humpty Dumpty, in a million pieces, and I can't be put back together again. But if You start—' no: 'But if I start praying, "God, remember me" — Your family will be put back together; your home will be put back together; your life will be put back together. God, remember me. God, remember me: I'm the man that failed — but I'm trying to be faithful.' And then Samson — if you're following me, you know I'm almost done: here's the prayer: he said, 'Lord, the only way I can win tonight — the only way I can win today — is if You strengthen me.' Because you know what that feels like: you know what it feels like to walk out of a Holy Ghost prayer meeting, and you feel like you could take on hell with a water pistol. You know what it feels like when people laugh at you, but you don't care — you've got your head up, walking in victory; it ain't nothing your boss can tell you; it's nothing your co-workers can tell you: 'I'm walking in victory, and you can't steal my joy. I was in a Holy Ghost altar call, and I felt the Spirit of God.' I'm trying to get somebody to that point where the Spirit gets on you, and God strengthens you, that you can win. But here's the best part — run up to that piano, because I'm at the good part: Samson's final words. I need somebody to grab a hold of this right now. Samson's final words is: 'God, I want You to look on me again. I haven't done this—' I'm preaching to people: this is not a sermon for perfect people; this is a sermon for people — we mess up, and we don't always please God. 'But Lord, I'm showing up to the altar again — and I think tonight I can get the strength.' 'Samson, what do you need strength for?' I'll tell you what I need strength for, God: he said, 'I lost some stuff I can't get back. I might not can get my eyes back — but I pray I can get the adversary back.' Do you know what the word avenge means? It is the repayment, the reimbursement — and in good old Texas southern language, it's payback. If you feel like a Samson — I'm talking to people that the adversary is mocking you, the adversary is lying about the victory that he thought he won — but it's payback in the room; there's an Avenger in the house. And so Samson prayed: he said, 'Lord, I just need to be reimbursed for everything I lost.' Am I preaching to anybody in the room right now? I just need payback. I'm preaching to people: if you feel like you lost your prayer life, you can get it back tonight. If you feel like you lost your zeal, you can get it back tonight. If you feel like you're losing your mind, you can get it back tonight. Somebody lift up your voice right now. It's payback time. I feel the joy; I feel the victory. Somebody's got to get mad at something that's been trying to overtake you, and say: 'I've got one more prayer in me. I'm tired of losing; I'm tired of losing. No more losing.' This is your prayer meeting: 'I want it all back. I want my peace back. I want my joy back. I want my victory back.' Somebody's got to fight right now: 'Just let me put my hands on the pillar — and something's coming down.' I feel a breakthrough. Somebody, pray in the Spirit right now. Fight back, Samson. Somebody ought to war in the Spirit right now: 'God, remember me.' Somebody's right there: get your hands on the pillar; let the adversary know you're coming after them. Every high thing must come down; every stronghold must be broken, in the name of Jesus. Somebody, get a hold of somebody: somebody's making war right now in the Spirit. If you're under attack, you've got to fight back, to pay back. The devil thought he had you; he thought he had you in the corner — but I'm coming out. He thought that I would give up, and never dance again; he thought he had me; he thought I was dead. Come on, somebody: get the victory — get the victory." The upload ends in the rising altar fight.

Come on. He The only the only thing that should be nervous in the room is the spirits of the enemy. Come on. God's not nervous. Come on. The church, we're not nervous. Somebody somebody's about to get their shout back tonight. Amen. Because when the adversary when he's on the run, he he makes one final attempt. He makes one final attempt to attack you, to discredit you, to destroy you. But I'm glad I'm on team Jesus tonight because if God be before us, if God's in my corner, THERE'S NOTHING THE ADVERSARY can do against me. Come on. It's it's AN ATTEMPT. IT'S A LIE. IT'S A MIRAGE. IF GOD BE FOR US. SO, I I've come tonight to help somebody find revelation and understanding that if God is on your side, if God believes in you, there's a chance, there's a chance that victory is very near. The Bible declares Judges 16, we know Samson to be a great man. We know that God used him. His anointing was upon him. But we also know that in his life there were many points of failure. But can I tell you that failure is not final as long as God is on the throne. And the adversary made one final attempt to attack the character, the integrity, the spirit of Samson. The Bible says in verse 25, "And it came to pass when their hearts were merry, they were they were eating and drinking. They were rejoicing and declaring thought thinking that they had the victory. But the adversary has thought that way too many times. He thought that he had won at Calvary, but he didn't know that there was resurrection 3 days later. And so the Bible says that they called they called for Samson that they may

make sport of him. They tried to mock him. They wanted to be entertained by him. Let Samson that he may make for us sport. And the Bible says that they called Samson out of the prison house and he made them sport. He He looked He could not see. His eyes were plucked out. His hair was barely growing back. He looked a mess. And in his mess, he was being mocked. How come to preach to somebody that the adversary may be mocking you, but God will get the last laugh. Come on. I feel the Holy Ghost right now. Come on. THE ADVERSARY MIGHT HAVE YOU ON THE GROUND,, BUT REJOICE NOT AGAINST ME, OH MY ENEMY., I'M NOT STAYING THERE. I'M NOT LAYING THERE. IT'S NOT OVER. GOD, I feel the Holy Ghost. The Bible says they set him between two pillars and Samson called for the lad that held him by the hand. And he said, "Suffer me that I may feel the pillars where upon the house standeth that I may that I may lean upon them." And now that house, the house where they were men and women gathered there, Philistines, all the lords of the Philistines, the Bible says that there were about 3,000 men and women that were there upon the rooftop as they made sport of Samson. But there's there's something that I love about God. I'm preacher I'm just preaching right now. I'm just going to take my liberty. There's something that I love about God. All it takes is one moment. Anybody believe what I just said? All it TAKES IS ONE SUNDAY NIGHT, ONE ALTAR CALL, ONE SERMON, ONE CHANCE, ONE MOMENT, and all it takes is one prayer. The Bible says that as Samson is wedged between these two pillars, the adversary made one final attempt to destroy him. And Samson had one final prayer. The Bible says, "And Samson called unto the Lord." AND HE SAID, "OH LORD GOD," anybody thankful we can still call unto the Lord. Come on. when you're going through it. Thank Thank God I don't have to go to the doctors. I don't listen. I I know where my strength comes from. He said, "Oh Lord God, remember me." Somebody shout, "Remember me." Come on, shout it again. Shout, "Remember me." He said, "Oh Lord God, remember me. I pray thee and strengthen me." Somebody shout, "Strengthen me." Strengthen me. I pray thee only this once, oh God, that I may be avenged. Somebody shout, "Avenge me." Avenge of the Philistines for my two eyes. I want to preach to anybody that feels like even in this revival, you've been under attack spiritually. And I want to tell you that if you are under attack, if you are under the affliction of the adversary, pastor, can I just can I just steal your sermon real quick? Good. If you're under attack, good. Because that means that God is doing something. Come on. Come on. Anybody thankful? Come on. Anybody thankful? Come on. I want you to praise him right now until you feel something. Come on. Praise him until you got the adversary in the corner. Come on. Come on. You've got one more prayer in you. COME ON. YOU GOT ONE MORE DANCE IN. YOU'VE GOT ONE MORE SHOUT IN YOU. IT'S NOT over yet. Come on. I FEEL THE STRENGTH OF THE HOLY GHOST. COME ON. COME ON, somebody ought to just let the Holy Ghost flow. Come on, let the Holy Ghost flow. Amen. A simple title, a simple thought. Remember me, strengthen me, avenge me. Anybody feel the Holy Ghost in the room? Clap your hands as you're being seated. remember me, strengthen me, and avenge me. I was in prayer tonight and I started thinking about some things

and in my studying recently, God's been dealing with me about the way that we see the word of God. And I've I've tried my best to be a student of his word because it's one thing to hear the word. It's a whole another thing when you get it for yourself. And I I told you early in the revival, I've been looking at these these Bible stories a whole lot differently from the times of Sunday school days. And I feel like if my Sunday school teachers heard me preaching, they might be offended because there are some things that they used to tell us in Sunday school. They did not tell us the whole story. And in your early years, if you if you've if you recall the life of Samson, anybody know who Samson is in the house? If you recall the life of Samson as a child, Samson is a hero. Everybody loves Samson. He's strong. He seems to be vigilant and f and ferocious. He seems He seems that nothing fears him. I I don't know too many men that can tie 300 foxes together. And and I don't know too many men that can put the gates of the city upon their back and these type feats. They're in a mind of a child. These are supernatural because they are. Can I just tell you right now? You can't do some things by yourself, but with God, we can do all things. Come on, anybody hear me right now? Come on. You might feel like the adversary is getting the best of you., but when the spirit of THE LORD COMES UPON YOU,, DAVID SAID, "I CAN RUN THROUGH A WALL., AND I CAN STORM. I CAN LEAP OVER A WALL AND STORM, THROUGH A TROOP.", COME ON. IF GOD IS FOR YOU, God's for you. There are some things you've got to understand about the nature of having the power of God applied to your life, the spirit of God in operation in your life. And Samson was a man that we see him as more than lifelike. But then I got to my teenage years and they hurt my feelings. Because then they started telling me how much of a failure Simpson was. They was trying to tell a young teenager, "You got to be careful who you talking to. You got to be careful who you date and who you get in relationships with." And and they started telling me about about Samson going down to Timoth and Samson getting caught and entangled with Delilah. Can I tell you if you're going to get victory, you can't play around with the devil. Oh, I I come to help somebody in the room. COME ON. YOU CAN'T PLAY AROUND WITH THE ADVERSARY. AND GET VICTORY OVER THE ADVERSARY. YOU CAN'T GIVE PLACE TO THE THOUGHTS YOU CAN'T GIVE PLACE TO THE FEAR. YOU CAN'T GIVE COME ON. YOU CAN'T KEEP ENTERTAINING THE THOUGHTS OF FEAR AND GET VICTORY. YOU'VE GOT TO PLEAD THE BLOOD OF JESUS OVER YOUR MIND AND SAY, "NO, NO, NO, DEVIL. I BELONG TO JESUS. THERE'S NO ROOM IN MY HOUSE. THERE'S NO ROOM IN MY HEART. THERE'S NO ROOM IN MY FAMILY. WE HAVE THE VICTORY. COME ON. I WISH SOMEBODY WOULD DECLARE IT WITH YOUR HANDS. WE HAVE THE VICTORY. WE HAVE to they hurt my feelings telling me that Samson was a failure because out of all of the feasts that he had in his life at the end of his life, the Bible declares that Samson Samson was in a place of affliction. Samson was at the point that the ADVERSARY HAD MOCKED him and ridiculed him, destroyed his character, destroyed his name. and at THE END OF THE DAY ALL I KNEW ABOUT SAMSON AS A YOUNG MAN WAS THAT HE FAILED GOD MISERABLY. HE DID NOT DO WHAT GOD HAD CALLED HIM TO DO. HE WAS AN UTTER FAILURE, DISGRACE TO THE grace of God. And it hurt my heart soul to believe that my hero can be a failure. But can I tell you that that's not the end of the story? Oh, I hope somebody's helping me on a Sunday night. That's not the end of the story because they in their final attempt be to mock Samson. They they plucked out his eyes out of a plan, a plot against him. They entangled him. They they got him to his point of weakness. I'm preaching to people right now and it's at this low point in his life, his hair

shaven, his eyes plucked out, that it seems like Samson's life is bleak. I know you think I'm preaching about Samson right now. For a long time, Samson's been demonized. Hear me. I've heard enough preaching. I've heard I've been to enough camp meetings, enough conferences as a young person to know that Samson has been demonized because he seems to be the the poster child for perpetual failure. But I'm going to defend Samson tonight. I'm going to defend him tonight because the more I look into this thing, I don't think the story is eyes distraught. I don't think Samson was as much of a failure as we think he was. Because if that was the case, then Hebrews 11 and32 would be a lie. Oh, I wish somebody's hear me right now BECAUSE YOU GOT TO GO AT THE END OF THE LIFE AND AT THE BACK OF THE BOOK, YOU TURN OVER TO THE NEW TESTAMENT AND WEDGE RIGHT IN BETWEEN THE PATRIARCHS AND THE PROPHETS OF FAITH AMONG GIDEON AND BAY AND JAPHETH AND THE PROPHET SAMUEL AND DAVID THE KING. WHERE'S RIGHT THERE IN THE MIDDLE? WELL, I hope I feel about helping the house RIGHT NOW. RIGHT THERE IN THE MIDDLE OF GREAT MEN, MEN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, MEN OF FAITH. Doesn't look like Samson's a failure in the middle of the faithful. Hey, I come to preach somebody. IF YOU JUST KEEP ON HANGING AROUND THE CHURCH AND YOU KEEP BEING FAITHFUL WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE A FAILURE IF YOU KEEP SHOWING UP WHEN THE DEVIL'S TELLING YOU STAY HOME WHEN YOU KEEP ON PRAYING WHEN HE'S TELLING YOU GOD'S NOT LISTENING I PROMISE YOU MY FRIEND AT THE END OF THE STORY YOU'RE GOING TO BE AN HOUR RUNNER A DEVIL CHASER A SOUL SAVER. I WISH SOMEBODY WOULD HEAR ME RIGHT NOW. IT'S NOT THE END OF THE STORY. IF YOU KEEP BEING FAITHFUL, IT'S NOT THE END OF THE STORY. IF YOU I FALL FLAT ON MY FACE. I FAILED GOD MANY TIMES. BUT I KEEP ON COMING ANYWAY. AND TELLING GOD, I'M GOING TO WIN. I'VE GOT TO WIN. THE ADVERSARY CAN'T DESTROY. COME ON, SOMEBODY GOT TO GET A RESOLVE IN YOUR SPIRIT., AND SAY, "I KNOW THE ADVERSARY IS MOCKING ME., THE ADVERSARY IS FIGHTING ME., BUT I'VE GOT TO FIGHT BACK IN MY SPIRIT." Come on. IF YOU GOT A FIGHT IN YOUR SPIRIT, YOU OUGHT TO PRAISE GOD., LIKE YOU GOT TO FIGHT IN YOUR HANDS. Come on. IT'S WITH YOUR HANDS THAT YOU FIGHT. IT'S WHAT? OH, CLAP YOUR HANDS ALL YE PEOPLE AND SHOUT UNTO GOD WITH A VOICE OF TRIUMPH. MY VOICE DECLARES I AM VICTORIOUS. I want to defend Samson. Because contrary to what the story looks like, I think Samson I think Samson is more reflective of us than we think. Because if we're honest, Brother McCoy, I hope I don't make us look human. But the last time I checked, every last one of us have mountain tops. But that's not all. Every last one of us have valleys. We have high points in our lives. We have low points in our lives. Am I preaching anybody in the room? We have times where we feel the anointing, the power, the spirit of God like we feel right now. And there's some days we lock ourselves in THE ROOM AND WE don't want to come out. We don't want to talk to anybody because I don't feel what I felt on a Sunday night service on Tuesday morning when the adversary is kicking my teeth IN AND I'VE SAID SOME THINGS I SHOULDN'T HAVE SAID AND I'VE DONE SOME STUFF I SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE AND I BALL UP IN A CORNER AND I LOOK LIKE A FAILURE. that I feel a whole lot like Samson felt because the Bible says that the spirit

of God came upon him at times. Listen, unless unless you're having weekly prayer meetings down a five and Walmart, you can't claim to be super spiritual. Well, I I think I think I got to talk to some people. You that lying spirit is about to get a hold of you. I DON'T THINK WE'RE JUST ALL IN THE HEAVENS OF THE HEAVENS IN THE THIRD HEAVEN EVERY DAY OF OUR LIFE. WHAT GOES UP MUST COME DOWN. AND WE FIND OURSELVES AT LOW POINTS BEGGING GOD FOR MERCY, BEGGING GOD FOR STRENGTH. And it sounds a whole lot like Samson's prayer. But can I tell you something? It's the adversar's trick. because I I I GAVE YOU A SMALL WINDOW. I GAVE YOU A SMALL WAY OUT. I I GAVE YOU THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT THAT WE HAVE HIGH POINTS AND we have low points. but can I tell you something? IT'S THE TRICK OF THE ADVERSARY THAT WHEN YOU'RE IN YOUR LOW POINT HE WANTS YOU TO STAY IN YOUR LOW POINT. But can I tell you something? on a Sunday night. If we're going to have high points, IF WE'RE GOING TO HAVE LOW POINTS, IF LIFE IS GOING TO BE A STRUGGLE, YOU BETTER MAKE SURE THAT YOU DON'T LIVE IN STRUGGLE. IT'S ONE THING TO BATTLE. IT'S ONE THING TO FIGHT. IT'S A WHOLE ANOTHER THING TO STAY DEFEATED. HEY, IF I COULD HELP ANYBODY ON A SUNDAY NIGHT, YOU OUGHT TO LEAVE THE HOUSE WITH VICTORY. BECAUSE DEFEAT IS NOT AN OPTION. FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION. NOW, I feel the boldness of the Holy Ghost right now. It's one thing to have low points, but you can't let your low points become your living room. YOU CAN'T LIVE THERE AND FEEL SORRY FOR YOURSELF EVERY TIME YOU MAKE MESS UP. BECAUSE THE BIBLE SAYS THAT A JUST MAN A RIGHTEOUS MAN FALLTH. I think I'm still preaching a book, but somebody don't believe what I'M TELLING YOU. HOW IS HE RIGHTEOUS IF HE FALLS? I'll tell you how. Because it's not the falling that makes you faithful. It's the getting up that makes you faithful. Come on. HE YOU BECOME RIGHTEOUS. YOU BECOME WEDGED RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE, SAMSON,, WITH THE FATHERS OF FAITH AND RIGHTEOUSNESS., WHERE YOU SAID, "I'M NOT STAYING HERE., I'M NOT LETTING THE DEVIL GET THE BEST OF ME., I MIGHT HAVE LOST LAST WEEK,, BUT THIS WEEK IS ANOTHER." I PRAY SOMEBODY GETS A CHARGE IN YOUR SPIRIT., ENOUGH TO GET OFF YOUR SEAT AND SAY, "I'M NOT LETTING THEM WIN. I REFUSE TO LET HIM WIN. I ref Come on, SOMEBODY. PRAISE GOD. I FEEL SOMETHING right now. I CAN'T SIT IN FAILURE. I CAN'T DWINDLE DOWN IN DECADENCE, DESPAIR, DEPRESSION, AND DEFEAT. I'M NOT STAY. But here's the truth of the matter. We've got to change our philosophy about who God is in our life. Listen, I there's so I don't have the time to preach it. I wish I had the time to preach it like I want to preach it. But I I got to tell you that there is so much power in revelation and knowing who Jesus is. that if you really understood with every fiber of your being, the power that is weave woven IN THE FABRICS OF THE NAME of JESUS THERE IS NOT ONE DAY THAT A THOUGHT WOULD COME TO YOUR MIND THAT you would LET IT SIT THERE. YOU CAN CAST DOWN EVERY IMAGINATION AND EVERY THOUGHT THAT EXALTED ITSELF AGAINST THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD BECAUSE THE DARTS OF THE ENEMY ARE NOT GREATER THAN THE HAND IN THE DOMINION OF GOD. OH, I'MMA SAY IT AGAIN. GREATER IS HE THAT'S WITHIN ME THAT he I thought I WAS IN A SHOUTING CHURCH. COME ON. SOMETHING SOMETHING OUGHT TO GET IN YOUR SPIRIT. Can I tell you how powerful revelation in God is? I'm I'm almost done where I'm

going. I just got to get to his prayer. The prayer part. You're preaching real good. Thank you, pastor. I appreciate We I I THINK THAT WE SUBCONSCIOUSLY I'M TELLING YOU, I'VE BEEN DIGGING. I'VE been I've been Brother Presley, Brother Preston, I've been digging in this thing. I've I've been I've been trying TO FIND STUFF. NOT NOT TO FIND NEW REVELATION, BUT BECAUSE I WANT TO READ EVERY WORD. I DON'T WANT TO MISS THE VICTORY THAT GOD HAS FOR ME. IF IT'S SITTING RIGHT THERE IN THAT BOOK. And I've sat on enough I've sat at enough camp meetings and conferences as a young man that they didn't they didn't tell ME THE WHOLE STORY. BECAUSE IF YOU UNDERSTAND THE power of Philippians 2:10, YOU WILL UNDERSTAND THAT WE ALSO SUBCONSCIOUSLY SKIP OVER THE GOOD PART. The Bible says that at the name of Jesus, I wish somebody knew what I KNOW. AT THE NAME OF JESUS, I CAN STOP PREACHING RIGHT THERE. ALL POWER, ALL GLORY, ALL DOMINION, ALL TRUTH, ALL LOVE, ALL GRACE, ALL VICTORY, ALL S ALL SALVATION,, ALL FREEDOM,, ALL JOY. THERE IS NO OTHER NAME UNDER HEAVEN. THAT'S WHY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN COMING TO THAT POOL OF BAPTISM., BECAUSE THERE'S NO OTHER NAME UNDER HEAVEN, GIVEN AMONG MEN WHEREBY, WE MUST BE SAVED, EXCEPT THAT NAME. That's beautiful revelation. But there's more. I think we subconsciously misquote this whole passage. Now, I don't want you to raise your hands because we've all done it. We all quote Philippians 2:10 like this. At the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. A isn't that how we quote it? I wasn't going to raise your hand if that's how we quoted. Yeah. Tell the truth. Shame the devil. Come on. We making a mad tonight. We quote that one day every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. But we take out the power that's in the middle. But I feel I wish I can kick my shoes off and run an hour right now. Because if you miss what's in the middle, you'll miss the victory that's there for you. THE BIBLE SAYS that at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow of things in heaven. I'll tell you why we skip over that part. This part, the middle part is because we think that every knee shall bow, every tongue shall confess is about earthly things. We think that IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO, IT HAS A LITTLE TO DO WITH IT, BUT THAT'S NOT the whole story. WE THINK THAT'S ABOUT THE SINNER AND THE SAINT THAT ONE DAY BOTH THE SINNER AND the saint are going to have to bow down IN OBEDIENCE TO THE POWER THE NAME THE MAJESTIC NATURE OF THE MONOTHEISTIC ONE GOD IN CHRIST Jesus and that's the truth but that ain't the whole story y'all if y'all only knew how I feel like preaching right I want you TO SEE THAT LAST PART REAL GOOD. Things in heaven, things in earth. And things under the earth. Boy, if you knew what I KNEW, YOU'LL BE SHOUTING RIGHT NOW. HEY, NOT ONLY SINNER AND SAINTTH HAS TO BOW IN OBEDIENCE TO GOD BUT EVERY CREEPING DEMON IN HELL EVERY FOUL EVERY ADVERSARIAL FORCE THAT'S COMING AGAINST YOU CAN I TELL YOU THE THING THAT'S ATTACKING YOU HAS TO BOW DOWN AT THE name come ON YOU'RE NOT SHOUTING ENOUGH IF YOU KNEW WHAT I KNEW CAN I TELL YOU WHEN YOU UNDERSTAND THE REVELATION OF GOD YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND THE STUFF THAT'S TRYING TO DESTROY YOU HAS TO BOW DOWN.

COME ON. WHEN YOU START SAYING JESUS JESUS JESUS DEPRESSION HAS TO BOW SICKNESS HAS TO BOW FEAR HAS TO BOW. COME ON. I FEEL LIBERTY. THERE'S SOME SPIRITS BOWING RIGHT NOW. THEY SAY YOU COME TO TORMENT US, JESUS. WE HAVE TO FALL AT YOUR FEET. YOU CAME BEFORE OUR TIME. WE HAVE TO BOW IN YOUR PRESENCE. COME ON. SOMEBODY OUGHT TO HAVE A HOLY GHOST FIT RIGHT NOW. AND START PRAYING IN THE HOLY GHOST. THE ADVERSARY HAS TO BOW. YOU SAID, "PREACHER, I DON'T KNOW IF I UNDERSTAND. I DON'T KNOW IF I CAN GET ON BOARD WITH THAT REVELATION.", WELL, YOU MIGHT NOT CAN GET ON BOARD WITH THAT REVELATION., BUT THE ADVERSARY ALREADY GOT THE revelation because thou believest that there is one God, and thou doest well. BUT EVERY DEMON IN HELL BEGINS TO TREMBLE. AT THE THOUGHT THAT THEY HAVE TO BOW THE KNEE. THEY CAN'T. So here it is. So, preacher, how do how do we tap into that power? How do how do we get complete victory in our family? I feel the Holy Ghost. how do I overcome the stuff that's been OVERTAKING ME? HOW HOW DO I BREAK FREE FROM THE STUFF THAT'S BEEN BINDING ME? You got to pray like Samson prayed because there's something that Samson did. The reason why I said I I got to come to his defense. I'm not coming to the defense of his faults and his failures his flaws and his fragility. I'm coming to the defense of Samson because of the way he finished. Well, I hope somebody's hear me right. Hey, it's not HOW YOU START. IT'S NOT HOW IT'S GOING NOW. IT'S HE THAT ENDURES UNTIL THE END. THE SAME SHALL BE SAVED. IF YOU KEEP CRAWLING ON HANDS AND KNEES. IF YOU KEEP COMING WITH EVERY OUNCE of David and Samson had the same prayer. They knew the same God. they knew the same power in his name. David said in Psalm 18, he said, "IT IS GOD THAT AVENGETH ME." When you understand that the stuff you've been battling with, it might be overtaking you, but it can't overtake God. I'm preaching a people that's in the MIDST OF THE FIRE. I'M PREACHING a people that's in the MIDST OF THE FLAMES. IN THE MIDST OF TURMOIL, IN THE MIDST OF THE STORM. I COME TO TELL SOMEBODY ON A SUNDAY NIGHT THAT IF GOD IS LISTENING YOU GOT TO OPEN UP YOUR MOUTH AND PRAY TO THE AVENGER. YOU GOT TO OPEN UP YOUR MOUTH AND PRAY TO THE DELIVERER. I'm almost done preaching. Give me seven minutes. Here it is. Because the reality of the fact is if Samson did anything right, I'll tell you why he ended up in Hebrews 11 and32. It's because he knew how to pray. I listen, if anybody tells you it don't matter how you pray that they are lying to you. Because when you start being transparent with God and said, "God, I've done everything I can do and the adversary is still winning." God can't help but come to your rescue because you're his child. you are called by his name. and it's not one day that you would open up your mouth and begin to cry unto God. and he'll just sit there and let you cry. he said a broken heart and a contrite spirit. I will no wise TURN AWAY. I COME TO TELL SOMEBODY WHEN YOU OPEN

UP YOUR MOUTH AND CRY GOD OPENS UP HIS EARS AND LISTENS. I want to preach to some people. Here it is. I want to preach to some people that you need the divine strength of God. Well, preacher, we're in revival. Hey, that's why we need strength. It is the will of God that all of us get the victory. Not 10%, not 30%, not 100, not 110%. We need every every last one of us need to have victory. Now, how do I get it? You got to pray like Samson prayed. Samson got to the point that he realized he lost every battle. What about the ones he won? What about the ones he lost? Because at the end of the day, Samson, he lost his locks of his hair. He lost his eyes. He lost his strength. And he lost his ability to feel his God. And when you get to the point that you lose everything, the only thing that will make you whole is you got to pray. You don't understand the power of Samson's prayer until you take his prayer piece by piece. Some prayers, listen, there are some prayers that are better than other prayers. Preacher, I I don't know how I don't know if I agree with that. The Bible says when you pray, don't pray a miss. That's a way you can pray. You can pray and you can let stuff come out of your mouth and you don't mean it with your heart. Come on. Anybody still with me? Come on. We're together. Come on. You can say stuff with your mouth and you you're really close to meaning it with every fiber of your being, but there's some reservation. There's some You're holding back something. But can I tell you that when you get in a prison and you get in darkness and you are being afflicted by the adversary and being made fun of by the enemy there's a prayer that comes out of you THAT YOU WILL SCRATCH AND CLAW YOUR WAY OUT BECAUSE YOUR FINAL PRAYER IS THAT GOD I JUST WANT TO GET THE DEVIL BACK FOR EVERYTHING HE DID TO ME. I JUST WANT I JUST WANT TO PRAY ONE LAST PRAYER. I JUST NEED ONE LAST HOPE. I JUST NEED ONE LAST CHANCE TO EVERYTHING THAT THE DEVIL STOLE FROM ME. I GOT TO GET ONE PRAYER OUT THAT'LL GET EVERYTHING BACK. Come on. I FEEL SOMETHING RIGHT NOW. THERE'S SOME PEOPLE SAYING, "I FEEL THAT PREACHER. I'VE LOST TOO MUCH. HE STOLE TOO MUCH. AND I'M GOING TO GET IT BACK. OH, I feel a surge of the Holy Ghost. If you're going to get your victory back, it starts with a prayer. If you're going TO GET YOUR JOY BACK, IT STARTS WITH A PRAYER. IF YOU'RE GOING TO GET YOUR FAMILY BACK, IT STARTS WITH A PRAYER. BUT WHAT KIND OF PRAYER, PREACHER?, YOU GOT TO GET DOWN TO THE DEPTHS OF YOUR SPIRIT AND SAY, "OH, GOD." If Samson did anything right, he opened up his mouth AND HE SAID, "OH LORD GOD, because when I ran out of money, I LOST MY FRIENDS. I'VE LOST MY FAMILY., I'M LOSING MY MIND., IF YOU STILL GOT GOD TO CALL ON,, THERE'S A chance I wish somebody WOULD HEAR ME RIGHT NOW. IT'S NOTHING PRETTY ABOUT THAT. IT'S NOTHING ELOQUENT ABOUT THAT. IT'S NOTHING CUTE ABOUT THAT. IT'S THE DEPTHS AND THE GROANING OF DESPERATION. THAT I'M TIRED OF LOSING. I'M TIRED OF BEING BEAT. I'M TIRED OF BEING AFFLICTED. OH GOD. Come on. WHEN YOU CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD,, EVERY KNEE,, EVERY KNEE,, EVERY KNEE, HE SAID, "OH, LORD GOD." He can't see where he's walking. He can't even see the pillar that's right next to him. He said, "Lead me to that pillar

of lead me to the rock that I can lean on." You're not hearing in the room. Lead me to a God that I can lean on when the adversary is over me. The adversary is on the rooftop laughing, mocking, scoffing. and making fun and sport of Samson. They're looking THEIR NOSE DOWN AT HIM. WE GOT YOU. YOU THOUGHT THAT YOU WERE A CHILD OF GOD. YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE STRONG. YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE ANOINTED. BUT LOOK AT YOU NOW. Look at where you are now. Where's your God now? Anybody hear me in the room? The devil's talking to you. I'm talking to you. THE DEVIL'S TALKING, BUT I HOPE YOU'RE HEARING WHAT GOD'S SAYING A LITTLE BIT LOUDER. WHERE'S YOUR GOD NOW? WHERE'S YOUR FAITH NOW? WHERE'S YOUR CHURCH NOW? And I can see Samson hearing the echoes of laughter, the drunken stew of men and women mocking him and mocking his God. And something got a hold of Samson. and he gets the gumpster and the gall to start praying because if I can just get the devil back one time and when you start praying like Samson Samson said, "Oh Lord God, remember me." I know some of you feel like that God's not listening to you, but I'm telling you, God still knows your voice. I feel the Holy Ghost in the room, right? He still knows your voice. I KNOW YOU MIGHT I KNOW YOU MAY HAVE BEEN AWAY FROM CHURCH FOR seven years. AND YOU FEEL LIKE GOD DOESN'T WANT TO HEAR ANYTHING YOU HAVE TO SAY. BUT WHEN YOU START PRAYING LIKE SAMSON GOD'S MEMORY BANK WILL BE OPEN. OH GOD REMEMBER ME. When you start looking at the Samson prayer, when you start looking at the Avengers prayer, when Samson's saying, "Remember me," he's NOT JUST TELLING GOD TO THINK ON ME AGAIN AND LET YOUR EYES BE SET UPON ME. THAT'S ONE TRANSLATION. BUT THE NEXT translation to ME IS THE BEST TRANSLATION BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THAT SOMETHING THAT IS membered is something that's assembled. WE'RE ONE BODY. HERE IT IS. WE'RE ONE BODY WITH many members. We're one CHURCH WITH MANY MEMBERS WITH THE THE MEMBERS MAKE UP THE WHOLE. AND SAMSON AT THIS POINT IS NOT WHOLE. HE'S AFFLICTED. HE'S BRUISED. HE'S BLIND. And Samson lets out a prayer and said, "God, I know you're the God that can take men that have been dismembered." I hope somebody's hear me right now. I lost my eyes. I lost my hair. But can you put me back together again? Come on. I need SOMEBODY TO LATCH ON WHAT I JUST TOLD YOU. GOD, I FEEL BROKEN. I FEEL LIKE I FEEL LIKE HUMPTY DUMPTY IN A MILLION PIECES AND I CAN'T BE PUT BACK TOGETHER AGAIN. BUT IF YOU START PRAYING, GOD, REMEMBER ME. YOUR FAMILY WILL BE PUT BACK TOGETHER., YOUR HOME WILL BE PUT BACK TOGETHER., YOUR LIFE WILL BE PUT BACK TOGETHER. Come on, SOMEBODY OUGHT TO REJOICE WITH ME RIGHT NOW. GOD, remember me. GOD, REMEMBER ME. I'M THE MAN THAT FAILED, BUT I'M TRYING TO BE FAITHFUL. And then Samson, if you're following you, you know I'm almost done. Here's the prayer. This said, Lord, the only way the only way I can win tonight, the only way I can win today is if you if you if you strengthen me because you know what that feels like. You know what it feels like to walk out of a Holy Ghost prayer meeting and you feel like you could take on hell with a water pistol. Come on. YOU KNOW WHAT IT FEELS LIKE WHEN PEOPLE WHEN PEOPLE LAUGH AT YOU BUT YOU DON'T CARE. YOU GOT YOUR HEAD UP WALKING IN VICTORY. IT AIN'T NOTHING YOUR BOSS CAN TELL YOU. IT'S NOTHING YOUR CO-WORKERS CAN TELL YOU. I'M WALKING IN VICTORY AND YOU CAN'T STEAL MY JOY. I WAS IN A HOLY GHOST OUGHT TO CALL AND I FELT THE SPIRIT OF GOD. Come on. I'M TRYING TO GET SOMEBODY TO THAT POINT WHERE THE SPIRIT GETS ON YOU AND GOD STRENGTHENS YOU THAT YOU CAN WIN.

But here's the best part. Run up to that piano cuz I'm at the good part. Samson's final words. My God, I feel the Holy Ghost. I need somebody to grab a hold of this right now. Samson's final words is God, I want you to look on me again. I I haven't I haven't done this. I'm preaching to people. This is not a sermon for perfect people. This is a sermon for people that we mess up and we don't always please God. But Lord, I'm showing up to the altar again. And I think tonight I can get the strength. Samson, what do you need strength for? I'll tell you what I need strength for, God. He said, I lost some stuff I can't get back. I might not can get my eyes back, but I pray I can get the adversary back. Come on. You're not hearing what I'm telling you. Oh, I feel the holy. Do you know what the word avenge means? It is the repayment, the reimbursement. AND GOOD OLD TEXAS SOUTHERN LANGUAGE IS PAYBACK. Come on. IF YOU FEEL LIKE A SAMSON, I'M TALKING TO PEOPLE THAT THE ADVERSARY IS MOCKING YOU. THE ADVERSARY IS LYING ABOUT. HE'S LYING ABOUT THE VICTORY THAT HE THOUGHT HE WON., BUT IT'S PAYBACK IN THE ROOM. THERE'S AN AVENGER IN THE HOUSE. And so Samson prayed.
