Summary
Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.
Prepared people reach out
- February's topic builds on January's preparation: once we are prepared we do not stop there — the next step is reaching out to others, sowing seeds in this world.
- Being a Christian means following Jesus, who robed himself in flesh for others and continually sought to minister to more and more people.
- A church can settle into an 'us four and no more' comfort, but seats filled mean people experiencing what we have been given a part in sharing.
- The command is to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature — no background, appearance, or past disqualifies anyone.
Scriptures: Mark 16:15
Ambassadors and peculiar people
- We are ambassadors for Christ: our job is to represent him to a world that may not see him, and to show them there is a way out.
- A chosen generation and a peculiar people show forth the praises of him who called us out of darkness into his marvellous light.
- God has not called us to uncleanness but to holiness — if we are just like the world, they will not notice any difference in us.
Scriptures: 2 Corinthians 5:20; 1 Peter 2:9; 1 Thessalonians 4:7
Boldness and the least of these
- Reaching the world takes commitment with boldness; new converts have a passion to tell everybody, and we must keep that first feeling rather than cruise.
- In the judgment of the sheep and the goats, what was done — or not done — for the least of these was done to the King himself.
- The Great Commission teaches all nations and baptizes in the name; nobody has done something bad enough to be unworthy of the message.
Scriptures: Matthew 25:31-46; Matthew 28:19-20
Grow, and be read
- As newborn babes desire the sincere milk of the word, we grow; we will not always have every answer, but desire keeps us better prepared each time.
- Ministries differ by person; focus on where God is using you rather than the percentage you think you got wrong, because done heartily unto the Lord it is right.
- We may be the only Bible some people ever read — they read the word we have hidden in our hearts by how we live.
Scriptures: 1 Peter 2:2-3
Stand up like Peter
- Living isolated from the world breaks the commission; our testimonies are meant to be heard by brothers and sisters who need them.
- In Acts chapter 2 Peter stood up because the word was in him — he was prepared for the moment, and thousands were added to the church.
- Be willing to stand up when the world asks why you live the way you do, even when the person in front of you seems too hard to reach.

so how many of you enjoyed Brother vandy's series last week on preparing ourselves I did enjoy that one as well um I will say I'm not going to be bringing out any shovels or any rakes or any tractors or anything like that so I don't have any props for you all but um so one good thing is I won't be you know getting all that dirt and dust on the rug you know and I really enjoyed that series and uh I think he did a great job at setting us up for the remainder of our topics that we're going to go through so the topic that I'm going to be touching on throughout the month of February is going to be continuing from preparing ourselves to now reaching out to others Outreach sewing seeds in this world so this first lesson is going to be more so General as to talking about Outreach and the different situations and the different ways that we can be a part of that and then as we do go on throughout the month we'll more specifically look deeper into situations as far as the type of seeds that we can sew how to water those how to get the increase Etc so look forward to that so as in last month so we did learn how to prepare ourselves obviously the first thing we need to do before we can reach others is ourselves be prepared so but but once we are prepared once we've prepared ourselves as you learned about last month we don't just stop there that's not just the end that doesn't mean that we've made it where we need to be in our walk with God when we feel that we are spiritually where we need to be I do feel like so many people just stop when they feel like well I know that I'm saved I know that I've done what I need to do so I'm just going to Coast I'm just going to cruise through life take it easy until the end but being a Christian this is something that I talked about a couple Sundays ago what does it mean it means to follow Jesus and his teachings and as you all know so well he continually sought to minister to others he didn't just sit behind with his disciples and stay on the sidelines but he continually sought to win more and more and to minister more and more and to reach more people the the entire reason that he robed himself in flesh was for us was for others the least selfless thing that anyone in this world could ever do that's what he did and it was for others so again if we're going to follow him how can we not do all that we can to reach out to others to bring others into this wonderful place that you all have the privilege of sitting here tonight experiencing what happens here how selfish could we be to keep that and to not spread that out we tend to just get caught up again in our own salvation in our own happiness as long as again we feel that we're at a place that we're comfortable that we are happy with where we're at we don't want to Veer any other way we don't want to do anything that may make us us uncomfortable that may make us have to maybe get up and do a little more than what we're doing it's just about me myself and I right so many of us myself included can easily get that mindset to where we only think about ourselves so on the other hand there's also some people that are just so eager to win others but yet like again that we have talked about in January they're so eager to win others yet they haven't prepared their themselves and I do feel there's so many people I know personally in my life that have a desire for the things of God but yet they're not faithful but yet they don't prepare theirselves to do that Outreach I will just say you can't be a missionary if you're you're not even faithful to your own church you can't win souls when you struggle to keep your own soul soul where it needs to be so a church that doesn't grow can become stagnant as the church it is our duty to reach out to those around us us to reach out to the community to grow you may have heard the saying us for and no more I do feel that there's so many churches today that do follow that mindset and it's not putting down any churches at all it's just it's a place that so many people find their themselves in again just that comfort spot everything's going right everything's going smooth there's not a lot of bumps in the road so we don't want to mess that up so let's just keep doing things the way we're doing the people you know our small circle we got there's no problems there's no struggles we all know that we all believe the same so let's just keep it that way but that's again that is not what Jesus was about that is not the kind of seeds that he sowed in his ministry so how do we as a church grow how do we grow through Outreach through reaching out to those around us we don't want to just be us four and no more we want to grow we want to see new faces we want to see seats filled up because the more seats that are filled up that means the more that God is blessing those people the more people that are experiencing something unlike anything else and we have a part in that every one of us in here have a part in making that happen as a church it's up to us to be diligent and to not just sit there and do nothing except take it in for ourselves
so for example our Christmas dinner that we had that was a wonderful event that we had and I was so happy to see people from the community that came in and I guarantee you even if they never step foot back in this building again I'm sure they'll never forget the seeds that were planted from that they'll never forget the words that they heard here that day because again that is what it's all about Mark 16:1 15 and he said unto them go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to Every Creature everybody don't matter what they look like don't matter where they're from it don't matter what their background is it don't matter if they're dressed just right but it's up to us to sew that seed in that person how many of you would not be here tonight if it weren't for someone in your life that made an effort to speak into your life so many of you I was born and raised in this this is all I know so I know there's so many people that have a different testimony than I have that didn't have that that life like I had they didn't know it from the start and again if there was not someone that took the time that decided hey this is someone that's worth investing in this is someone that deserves this same truth this Same Spirit that I have I'm going to take the time I'm not just going to set by and let them pass by but I'm going to speak into their lives I'm going to take the time to to be there for them and here you are today you're a product of that and I'm thankful for that as I'm sure you are as well I'm sure for those of you that raised your hands I'm sure you've never forgotten that person that took that time whether it had been a family member a friend whoever it may have been you know and I know that seed that was planted look how it's grown look how far you've come from where you used to be and that's because someone one reached out to you amen there's so many instances of Outreach throughout the Bible and we're going to get to that we got you got a lot of time with me we got we got all night then we got some other nights so we're going to we're going to get to some we will get to some tonight as well
so we're going to start this series by learning how to equi ourselves for a Bountiful Harvest so again we are prepared ourselves now we have to take that next step and prepare ourselves to reach out to others so just to kind of set the stage for what we're going to be talking about the main point of what I'm going to be talking about is can the world see that difference in you 2 Corinthians 5:20 says that we are ambassadors for Christ what does that mean what does it mean to be an ambassador does that mean we just set off in the back does that mean that we just stay away no our job is to represent Christ to this world our job is to reach out to a world that may not see him to show hey there is a way out hey that thing you're going through that's nothing to our God we have to represent him as an ambassador when you live a holy and a separated life I'll tell you you will definitely stand out I'm sure that some of you that again if you weren't raised in this lifestyle I'm sure that you stand out a little differently now than you did back then the people that you may have hung out around back then I'm sure that the life you live now makes you stand out just a little bit and that's expected that is supposed to be what we do 1 Peter 2:9 says that we are a chosen generation and a peculiar people the world's not going to understand what you're about again it's up to us to bring that knowledge that Revelation to show them why you're one of those peculiar people so it goes on to say that
you should show forth the Praises of him who ha called you out of Darkness Darkness into His Marvelous Light you see the people in the world they're still in that Darkness so they're not able to see the things that you're able to see because they haven't yet received that light so again when you go and you light that path for that person that's when they will be led out of that darkness and then they will understand why you you do the things or don't do the things that you do it's so important so important on our part to be sure that we remain different from the world because if we are just like the world they're not going to notice a difference within us how can we reach them if we're just like them you can't light your candle and hide it in a secret place you have to show the world that you are different and I'll just tell you when you're in a dark place once a light comes on somewhere you're going to see it you're you can't help but see it and when you go out into that dark world and you have that light on they're going to take notice and that's what we want for God hath not called us into uncleanness but into Holiness 1 Thessalonians 47 Holiness Bible even goes on to say that without it no man will see the Lord and again it is so vital that we strive to remain holy in order to reach this world
one of the first things that we need to do in order to reach out to this world is to be committed committed to God with boldness we don't want to be timid in our walk with God we don't want to be afraid of this world the world's already been defeated the enemy we have the victory within us so we have to be bold just as they were in the Bible when we are truly committed to God we want to tell people boldly we can't help but just want to get it out to tell everyone I I like to liken it to when you have a new convert when you have someone that's finally sees what they've been missing out on when they have seen the light there's nothing like that what I like to call that new convert passion they want to tell everybody they want to do everything they want to go to the ends of the Earth to do what they can to tell everyone about what God's done for them and what do they have at that point that's different than what you and I have it's the same the same God the same Spirit but yet again some of us we may have been doing this so long that we just kind of get in our cruise control maybe for some of us hopefully not the case it's lost its Sheen just a little bit because we've experienced it so many times but yet each time that we are in the presence of God each time that he still touches one of our needs we should still have that new convert passion we should still get that same feeling as the first time that you received the Holy Ghost the first time that you came up out of the waters the first time that you repented and you truly felt all of that emptiness fill up we want to keep that because again that's how we remain bold when we go out into this world there is opposition out there there are battles that we may have to face as we reach out to this world but again if we go out timidly if we go out with our head down are we going to win all of those battles it's up to us to keep that boldness again new converts I I like to always go back to that they just want to dive in ah head first they want to be the first to help with everything do all that they can in the church whatever it may be and then again the ones of us that's been here the ones of us that are furniture at the church you could say some of us don't even try any longer to reach out to others
have we lost that passion for the least of these Matthew 25 verses 31-46 again it's fine we got all night this is Jesus talking about a parable of sheep and goats starting at verse 31 it says when the son of man shall come in his glory and all the Holy Angels with him then shall he set upon the throne of his glory and before him shall be gathered all nations and he shall separate them one from another as a Shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats and he shall set the sheep on his right hand but the goats on the left then shall the king say unto them on his right hand Come Ye blessed of my father inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world for I was a hungred and ye gave me meat I was thirsty and ye gave me drink I was a stranger and ye took me in naked and ye clothed me I was sick and ye visited me I was in prison and ye came unto me then shall the righteous answer him saying Lord when saw we thee hungry R and fed thee or thirsty and gave thee drink when saw we thee a stranger and took thee in or naked and clothed thee or when we saw we the we or when we saw the sick or in prison and came unto thee the king shall answer and say unto them verily I say unto you in as much as ye have done it un one of the least of these my brethren ye have done it unto me but then he goes on to say say then shall he say also unto them on the left hand depart from me ye cursed unto Everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels for I was hungry and you gave me no meat I was thirsty you gave me no drink I was a stranger and you took me not in naked and you clothed me not sick and in prison and you visited me not then shall they also answer him saying Lord when we saw thee hungry or a thirst or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison did not Minister unto thee then shall he answer them saying verily I say unto you in as much as ye did it not to one of the least of these ye did it not to me and these shall go away into Everlasting punishment but the righteous into life eternal so say all that to say this so what is the point of all of this scripture here you see there are two sides there's two separate groups in this scripture there's the ones that took the time to feed to clothe to give drink take in the strangers then there's those that did not obviously this scripture gets a little heavy-handed with the punishment but if we don't follow the Commandment of God if we don't reach out to the least of these what are we truly what have we gained in this life to have all that we have but yet those who have these needs we don't take the time to help them because again you may not know what that man on the street you may not know what that neighbor that you're not sure what they're into you may not know what they truly think or what they believe but I just tell you this if you still take that time if you still take that time for them to reach out to help them whatever it may be you will be blessed the kingdom of God is still going to be furthered due to you taking that step and reaching out so again people like this that this scripture talks about the least they're the kind of people that when someone finally reaches out to them and they see that light it's a change like no other you may be the only person in their life willing to help them are you going to just set by and let that opportunity pass by or are you going to be bold to say hey let me feed you whether that be spiritually or physically whatever it may be again these people they know what it's like to step out of darkness when they've been the least of these you may never have been at this point personally but that doesn't mean that people are not that way just because you may not understand where someone's at or where they're coming from doesn't mean you don't be there for them it doesn't mean you don't see things from their side it doesn't mean that you don't help them you may never have needed help in your life but to someone who needs help there's nothing more that will build up their spirits and when they finally get that help we don't want to challenge ourselves I feel in this day and age but
let me remind you of what Jesus commanded Matthew 28: 19- 20 the Great Commission go ye therefore and teach All Nations baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the Holy Ghost teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you and lo I Am With You Always even until the end of the world Amen so in this scripture what does he say does he say go to certain people does he say go to the easy people no teach All Nations everybody doesn't matter who it is nobody is undeserving of the message that you have to bring them nobody has done something bad enough to not be worthy to hear what you have to give them people all the time say that they want to hear from God they want to be used of God and they just sit and wait for an opportunity but sometimes you have to seek out those opportunities sometimes you have to get up and you have to make that effort he's not just God is not just a waiter that's going to bring you something sometimes you have to be the the one to go out and challenge yourself again this is not just part of our life it is our life this right here what we're doing tonight what we do every Sunday what we take away from here and go home this is who we are everything and if it is everything within us how can we get by without reaching that person next to us how can we go in a store without speaking a word of encouragement to somebody if it's all that we are there shouldn't be a person in this life that meets us that can't tell there's something different if they can't tell then that means there's a problem that means we're probably not fully committed not to build myself up but just as an example years ago at a job I used to work I once met someone there was just having a conversation just someone didn't really know just having a normal passing by conversation just about who knows what and then at one point they asked me where I go to church but I never even mentioned church I never said anything spiritual I was just working and just happened to be talking to a stranger but I'm very thankful to know obviously there was something that they noticed within me and again that's just very humbling I don't say that again to build myself up but just as an example that's what we want we want it to be so strong within us that we don't even have to say anything we don't have to tell people that we live for God that we're a Christian that we're an Apostolic but they know they can feel it from us they can see it in us that's what we want that is also part of Outreach not just telling people about him but showing people him through how you live your life through the things that you say through the way that you carry yourself through the way that you go through your struggles and trials that's all part of Outreach because it can make a difference
now I will tell you we may not always do things right we can be so eager but we may not always say the right thing we may not always use wisdom as we should when it comes to reaching people but we can learn we want to desire the milk of the word first 1 Peter 2 2-3 notice what it says as newborn babes desire the sincere milk of the word that ye may grow thereby if so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious now notice what this verse two says as newborn babes what do newborns know how to do they know how to cry they know how to keep you up at night and scream but I say all that to say they don't they haven't learned a whole lot you're not going to know everything when it comes to reaching out when it comes to sewing seeds in people's life you may not always have all the scriptures memorized that they need to hear you may not always know how to answer every question question that they have but again desire the sincere milk of the word continue to grow and continue to draw closer and each time that you're faced with somebody that needs you or that has questions or that needs to hear a certain scripture that the Lord's laid on your heart you'll be better prepared we all have Ministries that are specific to who we are and what we can do we may not all have the same Ministries we may not all be on the same level if I can put it that way because we're not meant to be we're all used differently we're all at different points it can be so easy to say well I'll never be able to reach people the way that he does or the way that she does I'm just not like that I I'm not that knowledgeable again you're not meant to reach the people that that person's meant to reach you're not meant to minister in the way that she or he ministers you have your own path that God's laid out before you and as long as you desire the things of him he's going to equip you for that amen again it may not always work out the way that you think sometimes it may not be what you expected I'll just say a personal example I may have told this story before I don't remember because it's just one that always comes back to me many many years ago I had a speech class that I had to take um I know me speaking publicly crazy right speaking in front of people but I had to take this class and towards the end you I don't remember it was so long ago there's so many speeches that you had to do in front of the class that you were graded on and I don't remember if it was the last one but one of them I gave this speech on whatever topic it may have been who knows at this point I don't remember felt good about it got my grade back and it was a 99 a 99 so I obviously had to figure out what what happened one point found out I was told I did not enunciate certain words like okay say all that to say this things you may feel pretty good about what you're doing and it but it may not turn out exactly with the result that you want but you don't want to focus on that 1% or that 2% or whatever it is that may not have went exactly how you wanted you want to focus on the 99% that went right the same thing goes with reaching out to others you may be faced with situations to where you have to minister to someone you may need to pray with someone and again you may not say everything just right you may not remember those scriptures just right you may not say just the thing that you think you need to say but don't focus on what you're not feeling you're doing right focus on what you are doing right it's not about getting 100% when it comes to ministering because as long as you do everything you do heartily is unto the Lord and not to man then the Lord will have your reward none of us that walk this Earth Earth are perfect so we're not going to do everything right even when it comes to Ministry we're going to do things wrong but that doesn't mean that we're not cut out for outreach that doesn't mean that we're not cut out for sewing those seeds again we have been given the Great Commission we don't just tell all by always telling them so to speak but by teaching through how we live you may not be able to speak as well as you would like well
Moses Also may not have been the best speaker but that doesn't mean he wasn't used instead of focusing on the bad focus on your strong points focus on where God is using you not on where your mind has placed you below you may have put the level here is where you feel you need to be with God or with Ministry but with God there is no line that you have to meet when it comes to reaching out to others when it comes to min ministering or doing things for him so many times we hold our own selves back but we want to focus on where we're doing things right and I'll just tell you this as long as you're doing it for him it's right as long as it's for him it's right so you may have heard this saying we may be the only Bible that some people read how many of you have heard that in your life but it is so true there are so many people in your life that may never crack open a KJV or an ESV or whatever they prefer they may never look at the pages for themselves but whenever you're around them and as long as you've hid that word in your heart and you represent that and you live that they're going to be able to read that from you because you're living it
so what are the pitfalls of living a life that's isolated from the world so we had talked about sitting on the sidelines or staying away being comfortable it's very simple we're not going to reach many people we are not going to share this wonderful gift that we've been given if we isolate ourselves and go against the Great Commission that Jesus gave isolation is the opposite of what he told us to do we can't go and tell all the world if we just set off to the side and never go out into the world to tell them or to teach them and I will tell you this when you do that you hurt yourself you not only miss so many blessings that you could be a part of in other people's lives but you yourself I truly feel you will miss out on so many blessings and it's your own doing you don't want to forsake the assembling of yourselves together just like tonight there's no place I would rather be than right here tonight I've heard people say before that they can live for God at home I don't need to go to church I know I'm right with God I can live for him right here I've heard that said before but again that's not what his word says some of us have a testimony that another brother or sister in the church needs to hear someone in your life they need to hear that testimony and if you keep that to yourself what good is that doing your testimony is not meant to just keep to yourself but it's to be used as part of your ministry to others and to reaching out in Acts chapter 2 how many know that chapter in Acts chapter 2 when the people saw what was happening what did Peter do what's the first thing that Peter did he stood up and he said this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel what is he talking about he had the word within him he had those scriptures within him he was prepared for that moment you may be the one that needs to stand up when those questions come what is this why are you the way you are I will ask you this
do you know why you're the way you are do you know why you live the way you do Peter knew and he was prepared to give an account for what was going on and you all know the rest they were pricked in their hearts and he was prepared to tell them and it says that thousands thousands were added to the church that day and daily the church continued to grow when you decide to stand up that you want to make a difference that you want to tell why you live the way you do when you want to tell this is the spirit that's within me let me tell you what the prophet said let me tell you what the word says you'll be unstoppable just as in that day there was so many Souls that I just think if what if Peter had a decided Well I'm just going to stand back from this one I don't want to get involved you know there's a lot of people out there I might say something wrong what if he had not have stood up that day and been prepared to minister I do want to tell you that the message that he gave them to where thousands were reached is the same message that you have the same thing is within you the same opportunity you may say oh I will I'll never reach thousands that's nonsense he did they did with the same thing that you have so again what if you're the one that needs to stand up when the world has questions would you be willing to do that part of being boldly committed is is being up to the task no matter how tough it may be I had mentioned earlier we shouldn't only wait for easy opportunities I do feel and I can say that I guilty of this myself we may look at some people and think they'll be too hard to break through to you know they're too deep they're not going to hear what I have to say I don't think that I can break through to them it can be intimidating sometimes to minister or to reach out to certain people
I once worked with a man who unfortunately has passed away but he was a pastor of a church not an Apostolic church so very different beliefs but he did he had been a pastor for many many many years and he did come to me with questions asking me and coming at me with scriptures go going against the things that I said I believe and I will tell you obviously this was very intimidating this man has been a pastor for who knows how many years obviously he's more knowledgeable than me in the word because he's older he's more experienced so it's very intimidating but at the same time the spirit that is within us it equips us for those situations when it feels so unwinnable he may never have took any words that I had to say or any scriptures that I gave him to show why I believe the way I do but I know that without a doubt a seed was still planted because when you give people the word of God when you do anything for him it's always right so I believe wholeheartedly that a seed was still planted even if things may not have turned out the way I had hoped they might have we all want to feel successful in those situations to where we feel that we're not going to come out on top but that again is not what it's about sometimes we may touch people and we may never even know the outcome of that seed we planted it's not always for us to know you may never know that that person you reached out to all those years ago where they may be at today they could be a pastor whatever it may be it's not always for you to know the end
so as we kind of begin to draw to a close I just want to say that we can't afford to hide what we have we have to be bold with this gospel we have to be bold with our testimony Matthew in heaven it says a city on a hill cannot be hid when you are that light to this world they're going to see you you're not going to be able to hide away forever you're going to have to step up to be that Ambassador you may be able to hide away for just a little bit but when God puts something on your life when there is a plan he has for you you're not always going to be able to run away when he's called you to something greater than what you are it's going to come out sooner or later so instead of wasting time that you could be using to reach those people around you those family members those co-workers whatever it is start now I know that everyone in here that there's a plan that God has put on your life there's a reason that you're here right now I'm sure that there is a person if you were to think right now that the Lord's lay it on your heart that you need to reach out to maybe there's somebody that you you've been putting off like they're never going to get it they're never going to turn away but I just urge you don't waste time God has put those people in your lives or in your path for a reason if you haven't yet planted a seed in that person's life then what are you even doing that's the whole reason that we're here is to reach others you may not know it but
even if your life is in shambles right now even if you're in the midst of a fiery furnace just as in the Book of Daniel God loves to work through adversity not only will your life be changed but when the world sees that Fourth Man or that other man in that fire walking with you it's also going to reach them and touch touch them as well whatever we go through again it's not just about getting ourselves out of that but when we Let Jesus walk with us through that situation then people will be touched around us as well
and as I again bring down the landing gear I don't know how many of you may know but I've experienced loss in my family as well my parents lost my brother I was too young to remember this but obviously it's had a huge effect on my life I could never imagine now having my own child what that could be like to go through that but I will tell you this that they had every reason to walk away from God at that point I'm sure when it comes to our fleshly self I'm sure going through something like that you'd feel like there's there's no way out but yet they're still faithful and I always like to say we all have one more reason to be sure we're ready for heaven CU we know there's someone waiting for us I say all that to say this whatever you're going through there's still opportunities to reach others through that I can't imagine the people that my parents have been able to minister to that have went through the same situation that didn't have God in their life that didn't have the hope that they had there's a reason for everything even though we may not understand if we can all stand we're going to get ready to pray and give everyone a few moments to kind of filter in before we sing and then we'll pick up next week with our teaching Lord we thank you for bringing us here Lord we thank you for all of the opportunities that you've placed before us we thank you for the adversity ities and the trials that we may face even though it's not fun even though we may not understand we thank you for those trials Lord we just ask that you let us use those situations not only to further our own faith but for those around us to see a hope within us when we make it through those situations God that we plant a seed in their life that we reach out to those people Lord we thank you forg us those people in our lives that may not know you so that we have opportunities to minister so that we have opportunities to work through our own faith and let you use us as vessels to bring others to you God we just ask that you continue to be with us on this walk Lord we know that we're not going to do everything right because as humans that's just the way we are but we ask that you still let us see you in everything whether we do it right or whether we feel we do it wrong let us see what you have for us let us be prepared for the work you've put before us before us as we go out and we reach out to this world that needs you as we go out and we begin to plant those seeds Lord so that you can give that increase in those people's lives through us God lord we just ask that you keep us safe as we go out tonight and we look forward to being in your house once again in Jesus name we're all we're going to get ready to sing and worship so worship Him amen
