Trust in the Lord

if you are walking in all truth in what you know if you're doing your best right now I want you to know that you're your footsteps are ordered of God they are ordered of God and in this room right now God he said he is speaking come to tell somebody today that what you're doing keep doing you're trying yeah just keep doing I really feel in the Holy Ghost today and again I thank you Pastor no I didn't know it I just knew that something was off about today woke up this morning and it just something was different and I feel this in my spirit so I want to share with you something that the lord has laid on my heart how many of you believe that your steps are ordered of God he did not say that it was going to be easy he didn't say that he was going to show you everything as a matter of fact God has a sense of humor he doesn't show you everything he doesn't as a matter of fact sometimes he doesn't even show you the next step but he wants you to trust him simple passage of scripture Proverbs third chapter verse 5. trust in the Lord with all thine heart lean not to thine own understanding notice what the next scripture says and we're going to read it it was not in the notes today it wasn't even but I just feel led to say this in all thy ways acknowledge Him and he will direct your path God bless you you may be seated respond accordingly folks I I feel this in the Holy Ghost respond accordingly if you feel something in your spirit allow God to use you God is moving in this room it is one of those things as humans we are constantly trying to figure out new ways new strategies trying to learn new things we're trying to I work in manufacturing been in manufacturing for quite a few years and and as a manufacturing engineer we're always trying to figure out new ways new things trying to learn more and if you understand that then you know you can be successful so as a Christian as a believer in God and as a believer in the only God you are trying to figure out life I mean you say Amen and because of our nature and because of who we are we want to figure it out come to tell somebody today that you cannot figure God out it is not in your nature to figure God out it is not in God's nature for you to know what God is getting ready to do there are many things that we would like to know about God and that's why we call it seeking God we come in here every day every Sunday every Wednesday every time the doors are open we come in with expectation don't we we come in asking the Lord what would you say today that is the very first thing that I would tell you today is coming from my mouth as I prayed this morning before I even knew what was going to happen is I was saying God speak to us today let us know what you're saying to the church let us know your heartbeat let us know what is going on and as we look across our world and and I I don't want to do a whole lot of digging into what our world consists of today because many of you would say it's in a mess right it's in a mess but I I we won't spend a lot of time but as you look across everything that is going on in our world everybody in this room under the sound of my voice could say our world needs God our world needs God but one one of the things that must happen in us seeking God is we have to learn to trust we have to learn to trust I I was going to ask it but he went to he went to class over this morning or this afternoon I was going to ask you to bring my grandson I'll tell you what I I get my hands on him every time I get a chance but I could take that young man and I could stand him on this little Podium right here on this little stand and he would stand there because I stood him there not knowing that that is that is just as high off of the ground as he is tall but he would stand there because I put him there and I could tell him Gunner jump and you know what Gunner would do Gunner would jump he would he would come to his album he would jump off into my arms why because he trust me now as we get older we figure out that the ground hurts and so we decide in our minds I don't know I don't know if he's going to be able to catch me or not or I don't know if I'm going to make it or not and that becomes part of what we set our life to is there is now a Fear Factor in there and In Fear Factor I hate to Wade off into this but how many ever heard there was a show many years ago I think it was 2001 through 2012. there was a a show called The Fear Factor you remember that there was a lot of there was a lot of stuff went on in there where people would face their fears and and and it you know just about have heart attacks and things like this I think they had Med on the sideline just waiting you know in case somebody did but but those those are things that we would fear there are things in our life that you and I fear in that we set our life accordingly and so when we come to church or we We Begin our walk with God and we want to try and figure out what is going on in life and what do we what do we have that we can we can gain from this and but how can how can God how can you how can God really care how many you've been there how is it that God can care for me why because we've got we've got doubt we've got fear we've got things that in our lives things that we we can't we can't figure out I I want you to know something today is God wants you to trust him the scripture tells us to trust in the Lord with all our heart lean not to our own understanding why does it say that is because you and I already have that built into our nature is we we don't trust everything that we as a matter of fact in our world there's a lot of things that we don't trust we just don't trust it but in the things that God wants to do in your life I come with a strong message today somebody needs to get a hold of this is God wants you to trust him he wants you to trust in him he wants you to trust in him with all your heart not just partial not just saying God I'll just trust you in this and not this he said all your heart everything that you do everything that you go through everything we're faced with there are some of you that are faced with things in your life this this day things that you've came up to the front things that we're praying over those those names we've brought up things that's happened in your life and you don't know why why is it God that I I I'm living for you and I'm trying for you and I'm doing everything I do because I I just don't know why this is happening and God's trying to tell you I need you to trust me every man and woman in this place your your steps are ordered of God your steps are ordered of him you take one step and God is there you take the next step and God is there you take another step and you'll find God there oh yeah all you've got to do is look look around you there's doubt there's doubt there's things for you to doubt on I just don't know if I can make it through this God would have never taken you he would have never brought you to this place if he knew that you couldn't take it he'd have never taken you down that road if he knew that you couldn't take it God wants somebody to know this this day trust him trust in the Lord the scripture tells us James puts it this way in the first book of James he says he says that that men is like if if you've got a double mind about you it is it's like a what a wave that is driven by the wind it goes this way it goes this way it goes back and forth what is he trying to say he says if if you cannot have a stable mind on God if you can't look at God and say God consider this I want my mind stayed on you say well Brother Gibson we got all these things going on in our lives we've got things that's happening he says a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways everything everything that he does God help me today help me to have a stable mind on you help me to look at you and say God what is it that you have for me God would not bring you this far to let you down he would not bring you to this place if he didn't have a plan for your life he would not bring you to this place if he did not have something in store for you God I trust you I trust you the scripture tells us trust in the Lord with what oh everything everything that I've got God I give it to you I trust you God's warning us today and I I don't know who this script it may be just for me maybe this this word is for me today is I need to learn to trust him I need to learn to trust him God whatever path you take me down I'm going to trust you God I know that you've you're at the next corner I know that you've got you've got everything set up for me I know God there's a reason that things are delayed things are not happening like I want them to happen I'm trying to figure it out though and God says no don't try to figure it out I I I'm trying to I'm trying to get a hold of this brother Mike I want to know why why is this why why this and why that and I do all of my research you know Google's a big it's a big player in this we try to do research and we try to figure it out oh well maybe that's why I had a lady one time she was uh she was part of our church and she was wearing a a sign on her shoulder she had her arm in the sling and I won't tell you the whole story of her but do not touch she was she had her arm and so we got to talking to her and asking her what's going on and she had well she had corporate tunnel she had all and she went down this list of things that she had well what did the doctor do for IT what'd they get oh I didn't go to the doctor you see so many times we try to figure things out ourselves we try to lay it all out we try to figure out exactly what's wrong with us folks everybody in this place if you give me your symptoms we can Google that and I can we'll figure out exactly what's wrong with you you know what the majority of it's going to be something right here the scripture tells us let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus when when we get to when you start trying to figure things out make sure that you get in contact with God first you say God what what is this that I'm going through what is this that I'm having to face and if he doesn't give you an answer say Okay God I'm going to trust you okay I'm going to trust you I'm going to take another step you can ask him tomorrow God what is this that I'm going through why am I doing this and why is this happening and if he doesn't answer just say Okay God I'm going to trust you somebody say that to with me okay God I'm gonna trust you say it again I'm gonna trust you in all thy ways acknowledge Him and he's going to direct that path he's going to take you down the path that he needs to he's going to take you down that path that you need to be going down trust in the Lord with all thy heart lean not to thine what they don't understand it I don't understand it you're not going to figure it out it might matter of fact you bring it to Pastor he's not going to figure it out sometimes they he doesn't have that answer either and what he's going to tell you to do let's pray why because that's the only answer that's the only answer Hallelujah would you lift your hands with me right now say God I trust you I trust you Lord Jesus I trust in you with all my heart God Hallelujah Hallelujah in Jesus name can we do that some more for just another few moments come on can we just lift our voices to him and acknowledge Him see we can't go any further into what God wants to do in this house until he understands that we're placing our trust in him come on can we do that for just another moment if you need to stand for a moment just stand for a moment if you need to get out of your seat for just a second come on take a moment and just lift your voices right now to him and say God I don't care what comes my way God I don't care what the trial is God I understand that my mind wants to destroy me that the enemy wants to destroy me but God I place my trust in you God I put it all upon you I cast all of my cares upon you Lord Jesus you are able God to do beyond my own imagination and comprehension Lord Jesus Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Jesus Lord I trust you God I trust you
