Summary

Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.

The way of holiness

  • His text is Isaiah 35, verses 8 and 9: and an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called the way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it, but it shall be for those — the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not air therein, as the word is heard; no lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon. The wayfaring man is his title's figure: the man on foot, the man traveling on foot.
  • God has always had a way. Genesis 3 and 24: he drove out the man and placed cherubims and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life — and his word-study splits the verse open: the sword turned every way in contrary motions precisely to guard the other way, the way to the tree.
  • And the way runs to the last page: Revelation 22 and 1, a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb — and 22 and 2, in the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits and yielded her fruit every month, and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. That street in the midst of it, he says, is the way — the way that God had in the garden is the way to eternal life.

Scriptures: Isaiah 35:8-9; Genesis 3:24; Revelation 22:1; Revelation 22:2

Flesh is contrary to the way

  • Flesh will always be contrary to the way: Genesis 6 and 12 — God looked upon the earth, and behold, it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. Romans 8 and 5 is the fork: for they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh, but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit — when you are in the way, walking after the Spirit, the lion cannot be there.
  • So the prophets kept crying the way back: Jeremiah 6 and 16 — stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls — but they said, we will not walk therein. The good way is a person: everything in the Old Testament was pointing to Jesus — I am the way, the truth, and the life.
  • And Colossians carries how a man gets in the way, the book named and its words delivered: in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, and ye are complete in him — circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, buried with him in baptism, and the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, contrary to us, he took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross. Every swing of that hammer was swinging the things that were in my way out of the way.

Scriptures: Genesis 6:12; Romans 8:5; Jeremiah 6:16; Colossians (book-only, as spoken)

Men who walked

  • The way was always for walkers. His most underrated verse in the Bible, Genesis 5 and 24's man: Enoch walked with God — after Methuselah came, the channel opened, and he walked with God three hundred years; that is 109,000 days of getting up and walking with God, rain or snow — if the postman can deliver in rain or snow, I ought to be able to get out of bed and walk with God, in trial, in persecution, in tribulation. The man and the woman who do not get weary of getting in my presence, he says, are the ones I am getting out of this earth.
  • First John 2 and 6 makes it the test of abiding: he that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. Calling is not walking: Genesis 4 and 26, in Enos's day men began to call upon the name of the Lord — thank God Enos called; but Enos was not taken, because it was never the intention for men only to call on his name. And Genesis 6 and 9: Noah walked with God while all flesh around him was corrupt — the walk is one foot in front of the other, every day, in his presence.

Scriptures: Genesis 5:24; 1 John 2:6; Genesis 4:26; Genesis 6:9

Yoked, not carted

  • Matthew 11 and 29 gives the walk its harness: take my yoke upon you, and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls; for my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. You cannot escape walking with whatever you are yoked to — if all you have is fear, look what you're yoked to; when you are walking with Jesus, there is just a sense that everything's gonna be all right.
  • Israel's failure was trying to cart what was meant to be carried: they watched the Philistines move the glory of God on a cart and called it easier — but the glory was never meant to be carried on a cart, never meant to be easy; it was meant to be a heavy thing, borne by men. Somebody reached out and touched where they were never meant to touch, and died — because somebody said this way is easier than that way. Do not trade the weight for ease; that is how things die.
  • First John 1 and 7 is the walk's fellowship: if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Scriptures: Matthew 11:29; 1 John 1:7

Steps, footprints, and tomorrow

  • At the altar, steps did not matter: Exodus 20 and 26 forbids going up by steps unto the altar, and the approach was a ramp — because the altar is the place of agreement, and agreement comes first. Amos 3 and 3: can two walk together, except they be agreed? Get to the agreement place — get yourself aligned with his will at the altar — and then the steps start getting important: the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, ordered meaning established, as though God etches a footprint into time for you.
  • So Matthew 6 and 34: take therefore no thought for the morrow, for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. We live in Chronos, he teaches, but God works in Kairos — God intervening into time; you get in alignment with him today, put your feet in his footprints, and let today do what today does; he is already in tomorrow with his hammer and chisel.
  • Genesis 17 and 1 is the charge, Abram ninety years old as the verse is heard tonight: I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect — before me, in his study, being face to face in his presence, the walk his great-great-grandfather Noah walked. And it circles back to Genesis 3 and 8, where it started: the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day — God showed up to walk with man, and called out, and they weren't there. Walking with the Lord is what will produce a raptured body; and the lesson ends at the altar as a covenant — I'm walking with Jesus; come and walk to this altar as a sign: I know things are gonna happen we don't understand, but I'm gonna wake up the next day, and I'm gonna walk again.

Isaiah 35 verse number eight if you have it say man Bible says on a highway shall be there and away And it shall be called the way of holiness the unclean shall not pass over it But it shall be for those the way faring men Such an interesting statement there to me and it caught my eye One day in devotion the way faring man the most basic definition of a way farer is just One who travels by foot. He says though fools shall not air therein What he's saying is the unclean the unholy they're not gonna walk there. I love this next verse No lion shall be there. No Ravenous beast shall be there go upon it shall not be found there, but the redeemed someone say that's me We're gonna walk there those that have been baptized in Jesus name and filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost

One more time. Let's just lift our hands and ask that God would anoint our ears and anoint me in his vessel tonight Lord I love you. Thank you for your word. I thank you for what you've Already done God in this place how you've moved her in prayer pray God that you would anoint me as your vessel tonight to Correctly divide your word of truth to your people and declare the whole counsel of God I just asked God that you'd release the gifts of the Spirit You would confirm this word with signs following in the wonderful wonderful wonderful name of Jesus We pray we thank you for the freedom that we have to do what we do in this place today God We are so thankful God to be able to worship you and give you all the glory. Amen. Amen Amen, I have always found fascination with

this specific Verse in the book of Genesis and I preach from it teach from it a lot Genesis 3 24 Because it shows us that God's always had a way Bible says that he drove out the man and place at the east of the garden and eaten cherubim's a flaming sword Which turned every way and the purpose of him turning every way was to keep the way of the tree of life This teaches us that there was a way to the tree of life There was a way to eternal life And when you read in the very last book of the Bible in the very last chapter of the Bible you will find that the Garden of Eden was a mirrored place that really was in heaven we read in Revelation 22 and 1 And it says and he showed me a pure river of water of life

Clear as crystal proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb and in the midst of the street of it And on the other side of the river There was the tree of life which bear twelve manner of fruits and Yielded her fruit every month and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations I don't know if they have that graphic or my title but I asked I asked If they don't have it up it won't make so there it is I asked AI aren't we thankful for AI I Asked AI to design me a picture that depicted Revelation 22 and 2 because it says something unique and when you read it in other translations It says that there's a road in the middle of the river And I've never really seen it that way and so I said design me a picture

Describing this verse and this is what it it put out and you can see the river and it's like There's a way there or a road there and you see the tree of life in the midst of it And I found that very peculiar because I believe that that street in the midst of it Was the way of life that is the way to eternal life Showing that the way that God had in the garden was no new thing But it was always his desire for man to have eternal life and communion and to walk with him But us men doing what we do best we like to fail God and we learned that he had already made Preparation because the Bible said there was a lamb slain from the foundations and so he knew And if you heard Rashidi Collins preach at wins conference that fore knowledge of God was already there

But one of the things I found very peculiar Was when you look at how he says he turned every way To protect the way you think that those two words would mean the same thing However, the first way where it says the angel turned every way to protect the second way or the way to The tree of life that way means Contrary things and so what the angel was doing was as it was turning and it was protecting The way from contrary ways Getting to eternal life and so he was saying I'm not going to allow anything to corrupt my way And we understand that that's what man did we read in Genesis 6 and 12 It says in God looked upon the earth and behold it was corrupt For all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth God had a plan for man. God had an idea for man and it was communion

It was to walk with him, but flesh will always be contrary to the way Our flesh will always want to go against the way of the spirit And that's why Romans teaches us and Romans 8 and 5 for they that are after the flesh Do mind the things that are after the flesh, but they that are after the spirit They're gonna do the things of the spirit for to be carnally minded as death But to be spiritually minded as life and peace because the carnal mind is enmity against God for it is not subject to the law Of God neither indeed can it be so then they that are in the flesh cannot please God It's impossible for flesh to do things in the way of God But the way of the spirit is different and that's why before God could come in the flesh and reveal his way

He had to send a prophet and what was that prophets purpose to cry in the wilderness Make a way for the Lord. How was that way made? It was made through repentance and we know what repentance is it is to turn and one of his messages was this I'm gonna make crooked ways straight I'm going to to redefine the way I'm going to show you that the ways that you're going they're crooked. They're wrong They're they're not my way And so he sent a voice of repentance to correct the ways to bring man to the way That's why we read in Jeremiah 6 16 Thus say at the Lord stand ye in the ways plural and see and ask for the old paths Wherein is the good way and walk therein and ye shall find rest for your souls? I believe that he was Mirring what Isaiah was talking about when he said when you receive the Holy Ghost

Stammering lips and another tongue that this is the rest where with the weary may find rest He's saying that when you get in this way It's gonna lead to you receiving the Holy Ghost and that's how you find rest for your soul But they said we will not walk therein the people of God Israel they kept rebelling they kept turning and so he says though He says if you'll stand in the ways and ask for the old paths You'll see that there's a good way and so from the beginning of time there were paths that God showed man Abel figured out a path when he offered a lamb that that Understanding that there had to be blood that was a path It was it was Noah's path that God would use an arc to to save man through the water He said I'm gonna build an arc and this arc would have three levels and it's gonna have one door and

You better go through the door if you're gonna make it to the other side of judgment Jesus and I am the door if you're gonna make it to the sheepfold you gotta enter through me And so Noah found a path Abraham saw a path when he saw that ram Caught in the thicket by his horns and the son that should have died was replaced by the ram caught in the thicket by his horns That was a path Moses saw path that was called the tabernacle song of Solomon saw a path It was a man and his beloved Ezekiel saw a path It was a river that came from the temple Daniel saw it as a stone cut without hands Isaiah saw it in so many different manners He saw those paths as a lamb before the shears or a suffering servant all of these were paths

That were leading to the good way to the good way. What is the good way? Jesus said I am the way There it is. That's the good way the way that weather I mean that's the only way the truth in the life no man cometh to the father, but by me That's the way and that's what everything was pointing to it was all pointing to Jesus Anything you read in the Old Testament you want to study the tabernacle you're studying Jesus You want to study the rock that followed Israel you're studying Jesus? Everything points to the way they're past that point to the way and so you begin to read in the book of Colossians and Colossians teaches us the way that the way worked and I find this beautiful and it says Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit after the traditions of men and the rudiments of the world and not

After Christ or after the way for in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily and you are complete in him Which is the head of all principality and power He's showing you the way and whom you are also Circumcised with the circumcision made without hands and putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by Circumcision of Christ How do you get circumcised with Christ? He tells you buried with him in baptism Who's him? That's a pronoun the pronoun is describing the noun who is the noun Christ? Lest you're buried with Christ You don't take on the circumcision of Christ and if you don't take on the circumcision of Christ You will not be risen with Christ Through faith of the operation of God who has raised him from the dead and you being dead in your sins and the Uncircumcision of your flesh hath he quickened together with him having forgiven you all trespasses

Thank the Lord for that statement Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us everything that was against us now watch It was contrary to us and he took it out of The way how did he take it out of the way? He nailed it to a cross Every time that Roman man picked up that hammer and swung it He was swinging the things that were in my way of getting to Jesus and he was Nailing it to the cross and on the other side of that he spoiled all principalities and powers and made a show of them openly having triumphing over them in it in what in the resurrection in the gospel in the way and So that's why Isaiah said that this way was reserved for the redeemed And I love what he says he says the lion is not in the way the ravenous beast is not in the way

What is the devil? He's as a roaring lion walking about seeking whom he made devour when you in the way the lion can't be there When you're in the way Then the ravenous beast which is saying those that eat flesh when you're on the way You're you're not walking after the flesh you're walking after the spirit and if you're in the spirit Then the thing that's trying to feast on flesh it can't feast on you because you're walking in the spirit and things of the spirit That's what's gonna be in the way And so you just find all of these things these are all made for the way now all of that was foundational to bring us back to our text tonight and Isaiah 35 and 8 and a highway shall be there and Away and it shall be called the way of holiness the unclean shall not pass over it

But it shall be for those the way faring men Now I told you earlier that that means the man on foot Why is the way for the one who travels on foot? Because in the very beginning when God showed up in the garden. He showed up to walk with man God was never Interested with just Changing us for the purpose of us being changed But he was interested in walking with us and so we read in Genesis 5 and 24 There's a very interesting man you find here and you find that he was Raptured out of this earth one of the only two men he and Elisha that were raptured Why was he raptured the Bible says in verse number 24 and Enoch walked with God and He was not which means he didn't die God took him Why did God take him because he walked with him because God is not as concerned with your

experience as he is with your walk The experience was supposed to change how you walk Now to me this next verse that I'm going to read to you might be the most underrated verse in the Bible and When it grabbed my heart I I've probably annoyed the mess out of my wife before I'm about to read you because it says Genesis 5 and 22 it says an Enoch walked with God after he beget Methuselah 300 years To me that is the most underrated verse in the Bible a man Walked with God for 300 years Now when you look at the word Methuselah because Bible says that he lived 65 years before Methuselah and I'm not going to get too far into all of this But his name literally means man Channel of deity and so when you read Methuselah Mathew which means man law which means channel of deity or aqueduct of deity when he birthed

Methuselah when Methuselah came into his life it opened up the channel of deity in his life and so after Methuselah he began to walk with God for 300 years that is 109,000 days He got up every day Now what now now when we think walk with God we think just get up and walk throughout your life You've got to think how God visited Adam and Eve and before the fall he He would walk with his presence would come into the garden like a man walking and they would commune with him That's what was being reinstated when it says he walked with God for 300 years 109,000 days he got off of his bed He put his sandals on and he got in the presence of God every single day and God said the man that's willing to walk Consistently is the man that I'm gonna rapture off of this earth

The man that doesn't get weary and getting in my presence is the man that I'm getting out of this earth The man and the woman that says every day of my life Rather it rain or snow If the postman can deliver rain or snow I ought to be able to get out of bed and walk with God rather. I'm in trial or Circumstance rather. I'm in persecution or tribulation Rather, I'm in heartache or I'm in pain I'm gonna get up and I'm gonna put one foot in front of the other My my my that's why we read We read the Bible says in 1st John 2 and 6 and he that sayeth he abideth in him ought himself also to walk Even as he walked now I find this interesting because the Bible says in Genesis 4 26 and to Seth to him also We're born a son and he called his name Enos

Then men begin to call upon the name of the Lord the Bible says that that Enos Begin to call upon the name of the Lord But it wasn't just the intention for men to call upon his name That's why Enos doesn't get raptured now I'm thankful that he called upon the name of the Lord because at least men begin to to acknowledge God as the creator in corruption once again The fallen man began to say I serve God and they called upon his name But it wasn't until Enoch that men begin to walk with God It's not enough to call Jesus your Savior It's not enough to profess that Christ is your Lord and Savior It's not enough to profess that Christ is king It's not enough to profess and believe on the Lord and confess you've got to change the walk That's why he got raptured out of this earth. It was thankful. Yes. Thank God

Thank God Enos called upon the name of the Lord But thank God even more that there was somebody else that said there's more than just calling on his name There's a daily walk that I'm gonna get in with him There's a there's a there's a one foot in front of the other that's gonna begin to happen I'm gonna walk with him why because this way is reserved for the man on foot It's reserved for the man that says I'm gonna walk with God I'm gonna get in that presence that original Presence that God intended for us to have that's why Genesis 6 and 9 the Bible says that Noah What did he do? These are the generations of Noah Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations and Noah walked He walked with God He walked with him and I know when we think that he walks with God and when I say that we're thinking about just walk

But I can't overemphasize what I'm trying to emphasize. It's not walking It was God walked with them in the cool of the day and called out and they weren't there It was saying I'm getting in his presence I know what got up and God in the presence of God all flesh was corrupt But Noah still walked with God Listen, I'm as thankful as the next guy for what what just took place in our election and maybe you like it Maybe you don't like it, but that's not for me to decide But let me tell you something if you think everything's fixed because we got a good president now. You're crazy You're still gonna have to put one foot in front of the other and walk with God You're still gonna have to get up and get in his presence and That's why Jesus said in Matthew 11 29 take my yoke upon you and

Learn of me for I am meek and lowly in heart and you shall find rest for your souls for my yoke is easy And my burden is like you cannot escape from walking with what's your yoke to if All you have is fear in your life Look what's your yoke to if all you have is heaviness in your life What are you yoke to? You're not walking with the same guy. I'm walking with You're not man I'm trying not to get to because I can't I can't say too much about it But man, I watched people amongst persecution just a little while ago not care About what was happening and they begin to magnify and glorify the Lord I'm telling you that when you walk with God no matter the circumstance no matter what you're going through His yoke is easy and his burden is light

Trying to preach to somebody. I know I know I know it's heavy sometimes. I know the world It's difficult sometimes, but when you're walking with Jesus When you're walking with Jesus When you're walking with Jesus, it just you just get a sense everything's gonna be all right Everything's gonna be a it's it's all just gonna work out in the end. I don't know what the diagnosis is But what do you yoke to don't be yoke to your diagnosis? Don't be yoke to your condition Don't be yoke to your you got to get yoke to the right thing because when you're yoke with Jesus The walk gets easy and so this way is reserved for the man on foot. It's for the man that's gonna walk That's why when you begin to think about other means of travel. There's other ways that's it's easier There's there's other ways you can go that that gets places quicker

And that's what God Israel in trouble because they saw the Philistines carrying the glory of God on a cart and They said why can't we carry the glory of God on a car? It'll be it's easier if if if we cut some corners here, and we do some things they're ignoring Ignoring that God told the sons of core ignoring that God told them Levites. That's never supposed to go on a car Everybody else is gonna get mules and oxen are not mules. Everybody else is gonna get oxen Everybody else is gonna get bulls, but you're not getting that you've got to carry this burden And they said all right well we saw them doing it this way We're gonna put it on a cart and instead of it being on the shoulder of men and Then filling the weight of the Ark of the Covenant which represented the glory of God on the earth and the judgment of God on the earth

And the throne of God on the earth they said we're gonna put it on a cart And what happens none other than somebody tries to reach out and touch where they were never meant to touch and they died Why because somebody said this way is easier than that way? But the glory of God was never meant to be easy to carry It was meant to be a heavy thing and it was meant to be put on your shoulder And it was meant to be walked one foot in front of the other. I can see him coming into Israel I can see him coming into Canaan. I can see him You got to get under the weight of that and that priest began to carry the weight of glory And I can only imagine they were thinking within themselves It would be so much easier if I could just put this on the shoulder of an ox if I could put this on a cart

And I can hear the voice of God saying that's not my way My way of doing things is one foot in front of the other. I know sometimes it's gonna get a heavy in the walk I know sometimes it's gonna get burdened some you just keep walking You just keep putting one foot in front of the other Don't trade don't trade the weight for ease That's how things die that's how you lose things that are precious to you put the thing on your shoulder and say I'm walking with Jesus That's why it says in 1st John 1 and 7, but if we walk in the light As he is the light we have fellowship one with another and the blood of Jesus Christ his son cleanses us from all sin When you're in the walk something begins to happen a cleansing takes place Fellowship with one another it just happens. It's just you just fellowship starts happening in the walk

Now this next part I found interesting and I'm hurrying. I think I've got a little bit more time Exodus 20 and 26 it says Neither shout out go up by steps unto my altar that thy nakedness be not discovered there on now I found it interesting that the wording of scripture says Don't take steps up to my altar now. I know I know when it's saying and it's talking about these steps like stairs But if you'll journey with me in thought And and just the way I thought about this scripture And I'm gonna kind of take it out of its context and apply it to what we're talking about here tonight Because I know it's talking about steps But it was saying that it didn't want the nakedness of the priest or the thigh of the priest to be shown to the people You can't you can't

Reshow you can't show this and so instead of it being steps It was a ramp that went up to the altar because they didn't want you to see the nakedness of man before the altar But I love that it calls it steps Almost as though the steps before the altar like these steps I'm taking right now weren't important before the altar because what does the altar represent it represents death It represents you putting you on the altar and so the steps before the altar weren't there But then he says after the altar you have aligned yourself with me And so don't put steps before the altar if I could put it to you this way and preach it to you this way Tonight God's not worried about your steps before the altar. He's worried about how you'll walk after the altar God's not worried about your walk before you get on the altar

He just wants you to get to the altar and he wants you to align him yourself with his will and Then the steps start getting important And so I find that it's so interesting that the steps didn't matter and then I begin to read Amos 3 and 3 and it says can to walk together except they agree Now I've always read that in the sense of like you and I join in hands and walking together But in another translation it says can to walk together unless they have an appointment to meet and So what he's really saying here is You can't come into agreement Until you have a meeting place You can't find the way you're gonna walk unless I say hey, I'm gonna meet you at Walmart And we you and I agree 9 a.m. Tomorrow. We're meeting at the front door of Walmart and

Then you and I can walk together. Why because we found a place of agreement and So the steps before the altar didn't matter because the altar is where you find the place of agreement And when you get to the altar do you get into the agreement with the Lord and he says after the altar Let's walk over here to the brazen labor and let's get the blood off of you because you've been forgiven Whoo, and then let's get behind the veil and let's start getting in the presence of God And then let's get to that holiest of holies Let's transport from out of the flesh and into the spirit and get into the things of the spirit Why because we found the agreement place and now that we're in agreement you can go beyond the altar Now let's walk together. Let's talk together get in my presence and walk with me

That's why David said the steps of a good man are Ordered by the Lord and he delighteth in his way This way is for the man on foot That word ordered there simply means established. It's almost as though God etches into Time a footprint for you That's why Jesus said in Matthew 6 34 take therefore no thought for tomorrow For the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof how can a day think? It says that tomorrow will think for itself days don't think In in in Greek it would be Chronos chronological time It just happens the next day after the next day after the next day days don't think the creator of Chronos thinks and So the creator of time has thought about your tomorrow The creator of time the one that abides outside of time

He works in Kairos, which is God intervening into Chronos It's a it's a day of Pentecost Whereas on the day of Pentecost it was fully common so God steps in the time. That's a Kairos moment That's God intervening time and so what God does is as he says you're living in Chronos, but I'm living in Kairos time. I'm living in a time that you can't live in I'm living outside of time. I choose to step into time and so while you're worried about something that you can't worry about and Days can't worry about days. God's saying I can worry about your day My can make a day. Think my mind. I Can make a day have a mind because I'm the mind that created the day and So God in his infinite glory and wisdom. He says you just worry about today Because the steps of a good man are established by the Lord

And so this is the way I see it God says get an alignment with me today put your feet in my footprints and Stay there and just let today do what today does I'll be in tomorrow With my hammer and chisel Putting out something else for you tomorrow worrying about your tomorrow But you got to get to the agreement place the altar and if you'll get to the agreement place You'll go to the next day and you'll just stand there That's how Enoch got raptured because he just kept getting in the establishment of God He just kept getting into what God had put every day of his life one foot in front of the others This what you have for me today God and then one foot in front of the other because this way has always been reserved for that man That was on foot

Walking with the Lord is what will produce a raptured body And I don't know about you. I'm dreaming of that day Where the dead in Christ shall rise first and us which are alive and remain Shall be caught up together with him and I'm not so certain that we are not the generation of the rapture Oh praise God, but if we're not the generation of the rapture If it's another 80 years if it's another hundred years and and I know Bishop can explain this much better than I can And I'm sure he's got a grip. I will there's no question He's got a much better grip on the timing of the rapture and everything else that's happening as far as The end times go than I do But if it's another hundred years If the Lord doesn't come before I die If the Lord doesn't come before you die

I'm going to the grave knowing I walked with God I'm going to the grave knowing I put one foot in front of the other Because he will not leave my soul in hell I'm going to that place of rest Where he's gonna come down and the dead in Christ shall rise first That's why you don't need to worry about tomorrow. You just need to get your feet into the footprints of the Almighty and You need to walk with God. I Can hear Jesus calling his disciples. What did he say? Follow me Just like the call in the garden When he stepped into that garden and his presence began to walk Adam and Eve Where art thou? It was the beckoning of a God Desiring for the man on foot to just follow after his way Where are you? Where are you? Where are you? That's why when

Abram was 90 years old in Genesis 17 and 1 the Bible says that the Lord appeared unto Abram and said unto him I'm the Almighty God walk before me and be thou perfect and And and again I've always read that and I've preached that But when you look at the word before me, I begin to study this as God's revealing this and putting all this together That word reveal or that word before is the same word in the Hebrew as Presence in Genesis 3 and 8 when it says and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord He was telling Abraham Abraham Get in my presence and Just be like me Think about it walk before me. What was he saying? Just just walk with me Abraham I'm just looking for somebody to be like Seven generations before you Enoch who walked with me. I'm just looking for your great great great great great great

Great great daddy Noah who walked with me. I just need somebody that's gonna walk and If you'll walk with me Abraham, I'll make you a father of many nations Because this way Abraham it's for the man on foot It's for the man who's desiring to just go wandering around walking with Jesus Looking for a city whose builder and maker is God That's why we read in the very end of the Bible Revelation 21 and 23 and the city had no need of sun neither of the moon To shine in it for the glory of God did lighten it and the lamb is the light thereof and The nations of them which are saved Shall walk in the light of it and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honor Into it and the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day

For there shall be no night there if you're willing to walk in this hour You're gonna get to walk with him in that hour. Oh Oh hallelujah Man something just moved in here right now glory to God. Let's worship for just a moment. Hallelujah Let's just worship just for a few moments Praise God I'm done. I feel the Holy Ghost here right now reminded of a song Walking with Jesus says I'm going through. I don't care what the rest of the world decides to do I've made up my mind. I Ain't gonna turn around Cuz walking with Jesus says I'm going through I'm going through Stand with me all over the house and let's just worship the Lord Hallelujah Jesus If you want to come to the altar, that's fine If you want to stay where you're at, that's fine, but let's just worship him just for a moment

Let's get a heartfelt conviction I'm walking with Jesus Come on somebody ought to walk to this altar as a sign of your covenant with the Lord I'm gonna walk with you all the days of my life. I know things are gonna happen We don't understand but I'm gonna wake up the next day and I'm gonna walk again Oh Glory to God glory to God glory to God Come on, that's it make a covenant with the Lord I'm walking with you Jesus I'm walking with you Jesus Let this be a Methuselah moment for you Come on, he lived for 65 years without walking for the Lord, but after he had Methuselah 300 years he walked with God Let this be that moment where you burn the Methuselah that says I'm never turning around I'm walking with Jesus. I'm walking with Jesus. I'm walking with Jesus He are on the Lobo Shakata re under the bayecke

Glory glory glory glory glory Hallelujah Let God strengthen you in the walk tonight. Let God encourage you in the walk tonight Let God lift you in the walk tonight. Let God lift up your hands in the walk tonight Yoke up with Jesus tonight. This walk is easy if you're yoke to the right thing Glory glory glory glory glory glory glory glory glory glory glory glory glory Hallelujah Jesus when you're done praying you can be dismissed. I'm gonna lay this microphone down Just be in this presence as long as you want to be in this presence tonight. I love you
