Summary

Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.

Faith Not of This World

  • He reads his text from First John: whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world, and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
  • Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen; through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God.
  • In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth; God never starts anything in the middle, but takes his people back to the start.
  • Those who were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ, and in him the whole building grows into a holy temple, a habitation of God through the Spirit.

Scriptures: 1 John 5:4; Hebrews 11:1; Hebrews 11:3; Hebrews 11:2; Genesis 1:1; Ephesians 2:13; Ephesians 2:21-22

Not of This World

  • God calls his people out from among the world: be ye separate, touch not the unclean thing, and he will be a Father unto them.
  • John writes to fathers, to young men, and to little children: you have overcome the wicked one, because the word of God abides in you.
  • Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world; the whole world lies in wickedness, but we are of God.
  • He will glory in nothing but the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto him, and he unto the world.
  • Demas forsook Paul, having loved this present world; the believer must hold fast the profession of his faith without wavering.

Scriptures: 2 Corinthians 6:17-18; 1 John 2:13-14; 1 John 2:15; 1 John 5:19; Galatians 6:14; 2 Timothy 4:10; Hebrews 10:23

The People of Another World

  • We are come unto Mount Zion, unto the city of the living God, and to an innumerable company of angels.
  • We are God's building, and members in particular of his body; Peter calls the church a royal priesthood and a peculiar people.
  • Isaiah promises the willing and obedient that they shall eat the good of the land.
  • He tells of a man imprisoned many years for a crime he did not commit, who trusted God and walked out free.
  • Emmanuel means God with us: the God of heaven has come down to be with his people in this world.
  • He closes by urging the church to fight the good fight of faith, and to lay hold on eternal life.

First John 1 John 5:4. I would sing more, but I I got to preach and I don't have the breath I used to have. Praise God. You make me want to. Lord have mercy. Thank you, Jesus. Brother, Brother Brother Krauss said it while ago and and and and I told Sister Acres this earlier. This church has always felt like home. It it it just it just does. You you folks have a way of making everybody feel at home. And uh I u I I I come here and I I just feel like I've I've driven from home to home. Not Knoxville is just that place. And uh thank you for the room and the basket to uh brother Whitley, our pastoral staff, all of you. Thank you for the fabulous meals that we have eaten together. I I've lost a 100 pounds and I do it one meal a day. I don't want to get back on the scales when I get home. It has been wonderful getting fellowship, getting to fellowship again with the Mcool family. They are the best of the best. Sister Acres and I were talking about how committed this family is to First Apostolic Church of Knoxville. You've you've got a family so committed. I I I have watched them through the years when there was a crisis in Knoxville and they were at a conference. They didn't think twice about it. They dropped whatever they were doing. We had a camp meeting one time. Bishop was preaching in southeastern district and there was a um a death in a family in the church and u immediately, you know, he he called me. He said, "Brother Acres, he said, "I'm not going to be there. You're going to have to He preached he had preached like the first or one or two nights and then had to leave." He said, "I'm I'm going home. I'm going home to And of course, I knew that. I knew that was going to I knew that I understood when he said that. But uh the the Mcool family is so committed to First Apostolic Church of Knoxville. And that's a wonderful thing. It's good to know that you got a pastoral staff that loves you and they love you. They love you. Amen. Amen. First John 5 and4. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world, and this is the victory that overcomemeth the world, even our faith. I want to preach tonight, faith not of this world. Faith not of this world. Father, I pray you anoint us tonight. I pray God you touch our hearts tonight. Take us Lord to another level in our relationship with you and our belief and our faith. God anoint us now and I ask it in the mighty miraculous name of Jesus Christ. And everybody said amen. You may be seated. In first John chapter 2, I just read to you 1 John chapter 5. Earlier in 1 John chapter 2, John writes twice. Note, note not note the way it said, you have overcome the wicked one. You you have overcome the wicked one. But now twice in the text that we've just read, it speaks in present tense that that who whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world. And this is the victory that overcometh. In other words, it's a present tense. It's a present battle. We've already overcome the wicked one. Our battle is really not with the wicked one. We've got power to handle that. God has given us power over all the power of the enemy. So we've already overcome the wicked one. But overcoming the world is a work in progress. >> As long as we are living in this life in this world, we are faced with the fight to continually overcome the world. And ladies and gentlemen, it's our faith that we use to overcome the world. Here we sit tonight, all members of the human family. We are touched by the same traumas and trials that ta haunt all of humanity. Jesus said that the same rain does indeed fall upon the just and the unjust. The apostle Peter declared, "The same afflictions are accomplished in us as in our brethren in the world." We're all dealing with the world. And yet there is more to us than meets the eye. There is more to the people of faith than what meets the eye. 1 Corinthians 12 says, "We are members in particular of this marvelous mystical body of Christ." The people that put their faith in and have surrendered their life to Christ are a part of what the Bible describes as the building of God in 1 Corinthians 3. as the body of Christ in 1 Corinthians 12 and even the bride of Christ in Ephesians 5. We are the building, we are the body, we are the bride and with that Ephesians 2 tells us that we are built up. We are fitly framed together and we are built together as a habitation of almighty God through the spirit. There's stuff happening in this room tonight. In this room, men and women are diverse in personality and perspective. We are different in preference. By name and nature, we were of we are of diverse origins. We vary in our abilities, but in things not of this world and means that cannot be seen by the natural eye, we all in this room merge together. Praise God. We are marvelously and miraculously made one by the power of God and by the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I tell you tonight, we are not just a gang. We are not just a group. We are more than just a gathering of like-minded people. We are a body. And there is a difference in what we are in this room. >> This is not a a Masonic lodge. It's not a Lion's Club. It's not the Kuanas Club. This is the body of Christ. >> This is the body of Christ. Oh, praise God. Ephesians 2:13 says that we as citizens of earth when when we before we met God, we were far off. Everybody say we were far off. Far off from the purpose of our life because of sin. Far off from our creator. But now, Ephesians says, "We've been made nigh near to God by the blood of Jesus Christ." Hebrews 12 says, "We have come." This is where we are tonight. We've come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, to the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn written in heaven, and to God here tonight, the judge of all, spirits of just men made perfect, and to Jesus, the mediator of the new covenant and the blood of Jesus. There is no people like this people anywhere else on planet Earth. And I pray God, help us see and savor the value and the virtue of the church of Jesus Christ. I pray we truly discern the Lord's body tonight. As first Corinthians says, >> it's in this people in this room that nobody has a past and everybody has a future. >> Our future is not of this world. This world in which we are compelled to love and live for the Lord. This world we are compelled. We're compelled to live this life out. It's one for which much of the scripture is dedicated to exposing corruption and degradation of this world we live in. The holy scriptures pull the covers off a world that appears out there tonight to be one thing, but in fact it is another. The divinely inspired presentation of evidence in the scriptures is overwhelming with anointed utterances to establish the depravity and to ensure the destiny of this outof orbit world. Galatians 1 tells us this world is so sufficiently depraved that the Christ of God ascended a cross that he might deliver us from this present world. 1 Corinthians 11 says this world is going to be condemned. 1 Corinthians 14 talks of the different and dangerous voices that are in this world. 2 Corinthians 4 accuses the god of this world as blinding men's eyes. 2 Corinthians 7 says the sorrow of this world out here, it works nothing but death. Ephesians 6 talks about the darkness of this world. James 4 speaks of the corruption that's in it. And it's so devoid of value that just having friendship with the world is equal to being hostile towards God. First John two challenges us not to love the world. And here's why. For if any man love the world, the love of the father is not in him. Hear me when I tell you that that is an affection that even heaven will not company with. Heaven will not company with a love in your heart for the world. First John chapter 2 assures us that this world is passing away. And hear me tonight when I tell you that's a good thing. I'm glad this world's passing away. I'm not banking in this world tonight. I'm not banking on this world tonight. The White House can't help us. Hollywood certainly not helping us. Politics can't help us. medicine can help us. Jesus is the only only only only one that can help us. God is the only one that can help us. First John 5 says the whole world lies in wickedness. 2 John 1 says there are deceivers in the world. Titus 2 tells us to deny the lust of the of the world. Galatians 6 declares the world to be crucified to me and I am crucified to the world. And unless anybody imagine that you can survive a romance with the world, Paul declared in 2 Timothy 4, Deeus have forsaken me, having loved this present world. >> The world was sufficient to change his direction from God. We're told having a relationship with the world is a detrimental partnership. It's a destructive fellowship. It's a damning alliance. It's a deal with the devil. Faith in this world is feudal. It's very clear then why God insisted in 2 Corinthians 6, wherefore come out from among them. Be ye separate, sayaeth the Lord. Touch not the unclean, and I will receive you, and will be a father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, sayaeth the Lord. >> You got to come out if you want him to be your father. Everything tied to this world will come to an end. Jesus said the earth is going to pass away. So I've come to tell you tonight, ladies and gentlemen, we need something not of this world. This is the victory that overcometh the world. We read it in the beginning. Even our faith. Hebrews 11:1. Let's look at faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for. It's the evidence of things not seen. Make a mental note. It's the substance of things hoped for. The reality of what we hope for, the ground of what we hope for. Faith is not a backwards motion. Faith is not a weak vapor. Faith is not a mere wisp of air. It's not shrinking back. But faith has substance. Faith has grounding. Faith has firm footing. Faith is something you can live your life by. Both of the testaments say the just shall live by faith. >> Oh, hallelujah. Hebrews 11 is a cat a catalog of people who live successful lives because of their faith in God. You want to be successful, have faith. They were able to accomplish great, mighty, powerful, miraculous things. They were able to accomplish things that defied this natural world. And it was by faith, not of this world. By faith, the elders obtained a good report. In other words, faith worked for them. Faith in God. Faith in God's word produces great results. And Hebrews 11:3 says, "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." Faith is the substance of things hoped for. Sometimes when faith and believing are mentioned, folks tend to think it's something that doesn't actually exist. It's not tangible, something you can't lay a hand on. It's something you can't actually fasten your thought to or grasp. You can't wrap your mind around it per se. But according to the scripture, faith is actually a substance. It's got a type of essence. It's got a body to it, matter to it. It's got some elements to it that exist. It's more than foundless thought pattern in somebody's mind. Faith is the substance. When you have true faith, you have a substance in your life. Faith is something you actually live by more than wishing a wishing uh on a star. More than throwing a penny in a wishing well, more than a false hope. I I think one of the most misrepresented words even in the church is uh a hope. A hope. >> No, no, you you don't understand what that means. Hope is an anchor. Hope means it's going to happen. >> Hope's not somebody saying, "Well, well, I hope," meaning I I'm not sure. No, no. Hope is sure. >> My hope is sure. >> So, next time you say, "I hope," be careful how you say that >> because biblical hope has an anchor. >> It's steadfast. It's sure. It's got substance. >> I have faith tonight. I believe what I believe what I believe. And I know that I know that I know God is real. I know God is in this place. I know that. I know that. I know. He brought me out of the miry clay. He set my feet on a rock. He has changed my life. >> Hey, hallelujah. >> Somebody shout, "Faith is substance." >> Positive thinking is just mentally projecting and grasping. There's nothing to positive thinking. But faith in God is something present that's tangible. Faith is not merely a catchphrase. Blind faith, wild faith, crazy faith. Faith is not blind, wild, or crazy. Faith is fastened, secured, fixed on a firm foundation of reality. It's a sure substance. Faith is not stumbling or fumbling in the darkness. A faith walk is a walk in the light, >> the true light. Faith is a reality, a substance you can actually touch. That's why Paul said, "Fight the good fight of faith. Fight the good fight of faith." Hebrews says, "Hold fast the profession of your faith." It says that hope is a sure and steadfast anchor. Because of faith, we're told the elders laid hold on what they believed God for and they obtained it. And through faith, everybody say, "We understand." Faith is a teacher. Faith gives you revelation. Through faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God. By the word of God. Hallelujah. My my my my. Genesis 1 and1 says, "In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth." That's the hardest verse in the Bible to believe. That's the first verse and it's the hardest one. I mean, stop and think about what that verse just said. In the beginning, >> God >> created what did you create? It >> whatever you want to name it. God created the heaven >> and the earth. >> If you can believe verse one, you can believe every other verse in the You know, there's a lot of people they believe in Genesis 1 and one, but they don't believe anything else. Folks, if you believe Genesis 1 and1, you're going to be held accountable to everything else that's in the book because Genesis 1 and1 sets it out there. Oh, praise God. God doesn't hide difficult things. Oh, wow. I've gotten out of my notes. God doesn't hide difficult things. >> He puts the difficult things out front. He does it again in the New Testament. Matthew chapter one, it's a virgin. She's pregnant. What? Wait a minute. Joseph's even fighting with this. Joseph's even struggling with this situation. Took an angel to show up and tell Joseph, "It's all right. Sorry, Joseph. God's got this." Just like God showed you the most difficult verse in the beginning of the Bible. God shows you the most difficult thing in the beginning of the New Testament. It's a virgin that's never known a man, but she's carrying a baby. And that baby is Emmanuel. That baby is God with us. Hallelujah. I have faith. I believe in the virgin birth. I believe God created the worlds. I believe and if I believe that, I got to believe everything else that Bible says. >> Now, I I'm working my way to something. Everybody believe. If you believe God created the worlds, lift your hand. I'm working my way. Okay. Turn your neighbor and say, "He's setting us up. >> I'm setting you up tonight. Don't Don't raise your hand unless you're sure he did. How many believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ? All right. All right. All right. Praise God. Turn to your neighbor and say, "He's setting you up." Amen. I'm going to challenge that faith here in a minute. I'm gonna challenge what you really believe. Because if you believe that, anything else in this book is for you. I said anything. I see I I fel I felt, as the old farm boy said, I felt a stump and I'm gonna circle and dig deeper. I'm going to tell you right now, if you believe those two events, you've got to believe everything else in the book. If the book says he's a healer, I said, if the book says he's a provider, if the book says he's a protector, if the book says that he's a preserver, whatever the book said, you said you believe in creation, you said you believe in a virgin birth, you better say, "God, I believe it. I believe you're the healer. I believe you can fix my situation. I believe you can come right down here in my marriage. I believe you can come right down here in my finances. Hallelujah. I'm talking about something not of this world. I got faith in something not of this world. In the beginning, he created the heavens and the earth. We're we're not told how God did that in Genesis, but we read it a moment or I g quoted it to you in Hebrews 11:3. The worlds were framed how? By the word of God. Everybody say the word of God. God spoke them into existence. And we see that throughout Genesis chapter 1 repeated each day of creation. And God said, and God said, and God said, and everything God spoke came into literal tangible being, and it materialized. That which is seen came from that which is not seen. You can't see the words I speak, but you can hear them. And your mind can develop a picture on the canvas of your mind. But you can't actually see my words I'm saying. And so it is with God. >> God's got a word. Here we go for you. You said you believed in creation. You said you believed in a virgin birth. I'm going to tell you what else the Bible says. God loves every single individual in this room tonight. >> I rebuke any thought of depression. I rebuke any thought in your mind tonight that nobody loves you. I'm going to tell you God loves you. God and and God is more real than any human being ever was. God is more here than anybody else there. God is more in your life. He is forever permeating your existence. He is the one God and father. I'm in the word. I'm in the word. You said you believe. He's the one God and father who is above all, through all, and in you all. He compass I'm in the word. He compasses you about before and behind, above and beneath. If you ascend into heaven, guess what? He's there. If you make your bed in hell, you've done stuff you're ashamed of. You've done stuff you wish you'd not done. You've done stuff that condemns you. Guess what? He's right there. If you make your bed in hell because he loves you, because he loves you. He's here for you tonight. He's walking up and down these aisles. He's passing by right now. I feel him in this room. He wants to move in your life. He wants to give you victory. My God. My God. I wished I could tell you us acres are perfect. No, I don't. I don't wish that. We're normal people. We've had our faults and failures. I had a I had a son that he went what I called stupid. I used to get people give me a look when I'd use that word stupid. So I looked it up in the dictionary. And I found Webster defined stupid as a lack of normal knowledge. Do you hear that? A lack of normal knowledge. So he went a lack of normal knowledge. Just normal knowledge. It was he lost it. And there never was a day when he went a lack of normal knowledge. There never was a day in his life that his parents did not love him, prayed for him, sought God for him, laid in the floor crying over him. Span of two years passed. I'm not going to go into all of it because I don't have time tonight. It's not even in my notes, but I feel it in the Holy Ghost. >> We were praying over him. We were seeking God for him. And uh finally, finally, finally, one day I get the call. I said, "Hello." And I hear the voice saying, "Daddy, daddy, daddy, daddy, I need you. I need you right now, daddy." It got me so so shook up that I ran out of the house without my shoes on, you got to understand, for me to leave the house without my sho my shoes on, that's a big deal. We raced down to where he was. We got him. We brought him home. And I begin to see things changing in him. And uh I told him, I said, "We're going to keep we're going to keep your uh insurance running on your car." And he said to me about a week later, he said, "Dad," he said, "don't do that." He said, "That car takes me places I don't want to go." So a week later, his phone ran out. And I said, uh, I said, "Adam," I said, "we're going to pay for your phone." He said, "Daddy, don't pay for my phone." He said, "It calls people I don't want to talk to." And the Lord spoke to me, the Lord said, "He's repenting. This is what repentance looks like." And as we continued on throughout the course, I won't go through it, but in the next couple of months, God worked on his life. and and uh if there's anybody I've been more hard on at our church, it's been my family. And because I hold him to a high standard and I held him back and the whole church saying, "Put him up like he's the best bass player in North Carolina." It ain't about that. It's about being a child of God. He was developing his relationship. We went down to preach a Mississippi camp meeting and and I told Sister Acres, I said, "We get down to Mississippi, I'm going to put Adam up on the platform and let him play with his family. And then when we go home, I'm going to put him on the platform at home. He goes on the way back, we stop here in in uh Knoxville area and met with brother Carpenter. And brother Carpenter said, "I'm going to preach Indiana camp." And uh he he went to preach Indiana. He said, "Adam, would you like to go with me?" And Adam said, "Yeah." And so instead of going home, Adam's going now to Indiana camp. And he's about three months back in the church. And he gets up there and brother Carpenter calls me one night after a after a service and he said uh he said I I don't want you to tell Adam. He said but I got to tell you I just finished preaching here and he said I went to the bathroom during the altar service. He said I come back in and there was tongues and interpretation of tongues. He said brother Acres he said Adam was the one giving the tongues the message in tongues. So he waited several days. He called me. I'm getting somewhere. I'm getting somewhere. And he said, uh, he finally called me. I was waiting on that call. I was so excited. I was waiting on the call. So, finally he called me. Hey, Dad, you ain't going to believe what's happening. And I'm holding it back and saying, tell me about it. I've been asked to go to India. Excuse me, Dad. the the world missions department is going to pay my way to go to India and teach in Bible school in India. And the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ paid his way. He went to India. He taught and brother Jeremy Lang would have all night prayer meetings in that school in India. They would pray all night long. And Adam called me one night or one day crying. He said, "Dad, do do you believe the book?" He said, "Dad," he said, he said, "You're not going to believe this." I said, "Tell me." He said, "Dad, I'm seeing angels. I'm seeing angels." I said, "Tell me about it." He said, "Dad," he said, "Brother Lang's got us praying all night prayer meetings." And he said, "In our prayer meetings," he said the other night, he said, "I looked up and he said, I saw angels walking among us in the room and they were they were just among us, Dad. They were just looking and God be to open up things in that boy's life, God be to do wonders in that boy's life. >> You say, "What are you saying on that, P?" Because I believe that that the Bible tells me that if we have enough love to give, if if a father knows how to give good things to their children, how much more shall your father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? I'm here to tell you I've got a faith that's not of this world. I've got a faith that's in this word tonight. I don't believe in the world, but I believe in the word. I don't trust in the world, but I trust in the word. And if the word says it, I believe in creation. I believe in a virgin birth. And I believe he loves me even more than a natural father. Take think about how much you love your family. God loves you more than you love your family. It's his word. It's his word. It's his word. I'm going to ask the musicians to come. I just skipped about four pages. Somebody said, "Praise the Lord. Jesus, I I heard what you said. Jesus, you just told us to launch out into the deep and let down the net for another draw. But I've been fishing all night. And Jesus, I've caught nothing. I've got nothing but empty for all my prayers. I've got nothing but empty, dirty, dingy nets. Jesus, we've toiled all night. Anybody feel that way? I'm tired. I'm worn out. And I'm about to call it quits because what you said, Jesus, what you're saying, preacher, makes no sense. Nevertheless, at thy word, I'm going to do it one more time. If you know the story, after all night, he threw the nets out one more time. And he caught more fish than he could bring in by himself. Ladies and gentlemen, I don't know what you're going through. Heaven and earth is going to pass away. But my faith is not in this place. My faith is not of this world. I'm not trusting in CDs and retirement packages and I'm not trusting in the things of this world, but I'm trusting in the word of God because he said, "I'll never leave you >> and I will never forsake you." He said, "Lo, I will be with you always, even to the end of the world." And I often quote that scripture in prayer and I think to myself, the world ain't ended and you're still here because you said you'd be with me to the end. I believe in a creation. I believe in a virgin birth and I believe in the rest of the book. I believe whatever is in the book tonight. The smartest people in the world are people that trust God's word. Faith is the most intelligent life to live because when God speaks, things begin to happen. When you have a hopeless situation, if you can get a good word of God into your situation, things will begin to happen. where and when God's word lands in your life, it does not matter what has not been. When you have faith, when you act on his word, you're going to see powerful things materialize in your life. One of my favorite things to do when I pray, and I know everybody has their own prayer pattern, their own prayer ways, and I get it. And we all have to pray what connects us to God. Okay. But one of the most powerful things I do and I am one of those guys that constantly pray the word. I love to pray the word. I open up every morning with my prayer. God, every good gift and every perfect gift cometh from above and comes down from you, Father of lights, with whom is no variableness nor shadow of turning. If we being evil, depraved, know how to give good things to our children, how much more shall our father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? I thank you, God, because every good thing that's ever happened in my life is only because of you. That's what the word says. Every good thing you've ever had in your life came from God. Hallelujah. God, you are a father of the fatherless and a judge of the widow. You fill in the gap. You make up the hedge. You are the marvelous difference, God. And I thank you for that. Now, Lord, thou art our father. We are the clay and thou are potter. And we all are the work of thine hand. You've got a plan for me today, God. You've got a plan. And you've been thinking good things about me. I've read your word. You've been thinking good things about me because you love me. Your thoughts are above my thoughts. Your ways are above my ways, God. And I thank you for that tonight. And I pray the word. I I constantly pray. You know why? Because God's already said it. And when I'm praying the word, I'm only repeating something he said. And he's the same yesterday, today, and forever. That word is as good tonight as it's always been and always will be. You need a You need a situation tonight to be taken care of. You need to find a good word for it. You need to find a good scripture tonight and say, "God, I I know you've got an everlasting love for me. God, I know you you have an unconditional love in my life. God, I know you're the healer. Amen. These signs shall follow them that believe. In my name shall they cast out devils. They shall speak with new tongues. They shall take up serpents. If they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them. They shall lay hands on the sick. And they shall recover. They shall recover. They shall recover. It's been about 10 years ago. I went to Sister Acres and I went to uh Mary'sville, Ohio. And in Mary'sville, Ohio is the state penitentiary for women. And there was a lot of people lined up to go in. An hour before the service, we went through all the security. And an hour before that service, a line stretched. And I said to Sister Reinhardt, I said, "What's going on out there?" or Sister Acres told me. She said she'd been there before. She said, "You see that line?" I said, "Yeah." She said, "Those women are so hungry for what we've got in here that they got here early so they could get a front seat." The place had 1,500 women, I think, incarcerated and only 300, I think, could sit. And they were all they had signed up weeks before and there were many that could not make it in. And those women came in and I'm just going we we went all day long or Friday night and all day long Saturday. I was the last speaker. But I'm going to tell you something. I saw I saw 100 women filled with the Holy Ghost on a Friday night and all day Saturday. Boom boom boom boom boom. I mean, I saw healings. I saw deliverances. I have never in my life seen such a miracle crusade. It was powerful. And God took me to the scripture in the beginning of Isaiah where Isaiah, God said, "If you're willing and you're obedient, you can have it if you're willing." And I watched those women. We'd say, "Lift your hands." Not just a few. The whole house hands were as high as they could go. Let's sing. The whole house begin to sing. Let's pray. The whole house. They were hungry. And they begin to sing and pray. And we had prayer lines and they were speaking in tonesues. One girl was speaking in tonesues. And it was time for session. We had to break. They had to go out and get checked and get counted to make sure nobody tried to escape. The prison had that kind of system. And this girl was speaking in tongues. And I remember Sister Acres getting around her and and getting her purse and pulling it up saying, "You got to go. You got to go because if you don't go out there and get counted, they won't let you back in here. You got to go right now." And I watched her get that lady to stand up and walk her out the door holding her Bible in her purse. A prisoner or her bag, a prisoner speaking in tongues, walking out of that room so she could get counted so she could come back. 100. And I said all that to simply tell you tonight, we've got a faith that's not of this world. And whatever you need tonight, you can have. It's in this room. I feel it. I feel God in this place. But you've got to be willing. And you got to be obedient. You got to say, "God, I I I I'm not going to be the last one to get to the altar. I want to be the first one in the altar, and I want to lift my hand." Can I tell you, you don't even need somebody to hold lay hands on you. You don't even need somebody to pray with you tonight. If you just have the hunger that says, "God, I need something in my life. I need something in my kids. I need something in my marriage. I need something in my finances." And you just get down here to this altar and lift your hands and be That's it. And begin to worship God and say, "God, here it is. I need you. And I need That's it. That's it. I need my God. My God. My God. My God. My God. My God. [Music] Lift your hands and your voice and believe God. Believe God loves you. Believe God is a provider. Believe God is a protector. You have been so so good to me. I felt no worth and I felt no worth. You paid it all for me. You have been so kind. >> You have been so so kind. Glory over your willing. Never ending reckless love God. [Music] There's no shadow you won't light up. Mountain you won't climb up. Coming after me. There's no wall you won't kick down. Oh, it chases me down by my 99. I don't deserve till you give yourself away. All the overwhelming everending reckless God chases me find my found. [Music] I don't deserve it. Still you give yourself away. Would you would you put your hands on your neighbor? Would you pray with somebody? Well, this is a moment right here where anything could happen. And sometimes people who have needs don't lift up their hands, don't respond because they just don't know how to yet. That's okay. But if you would just maybe lay your hands on somebody, it might encourage them. It might increase their faith. Now, I want you to lift up your voice as you're praying with them that God would give them the desires of their heart. That he would meet their need. It could be healing. It could be financial. It could be mental, emotional. Come on. It might be in their family. But I want you to pray. Come on. These signs shall follow them that believe. They shall lay their hands on the sick. Come on. You've got it. You've got it. I believe in the goodness of God, but I also believe in the power of God and that he's here to do something in this moment. Come on, lift up your voice loud enough that your ears can hear your voice as you're praying with somebody. Come on. Maybe it's your spouse, maybe it's your kids, but pray with them. Come on. There is something happening in this room. There is an increase of faith that's happening here. But I want you to lift up your voice and lay your hands on somebody. Come on. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. Come on. In the name of Jesus. Maybe turn around. Find somebody else. But I want you to pray until something breaks. Come on. There's God. God God's wanting to do something here tonight. He's wanting to do something here right now. It's his love. It's his love. It's his mercy. It's his grace. Come on. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. They're going to sing that chorus one more time. But I want you to lift up your voice in worship and praise and in faith knowing that Jesus has heard you, that he's heard your prayer. He has seen your need. Come on, one more time. Lift up your voice. Lift up your hearts. Come on. Come on. One more time as they sing this chorus. Oh yes. Oh the overwhelming neverending reckless love of God. Oh it chases me down. Still I found the 99. I couldn't earn it and I don't deserve it. till you give yourself away over. >> Come on, would you lift up your hands and let that be your worship [Music] still [Music] and I don't deserve it. Till you give yourself away, the overwhelming neverending love of God. >> Come on. We got some still seeking. Come on. We still have some seeking right now. Come on. There's some still seeking for the Holy Ghost. There's some still seeking for their healing right now. There's some restoration. There's some deliverance here in this room. Come on. That's all right. We're not in a rush. We're not in a hurry. No. No. You won't you won't climb up. Coming after me. >> It's chasing me down. Yes. You won't take down. You won't. [Music] There's no shadow. You won't lie. Mountain you won't climb up. Coming after me. There's no wall you won't kick down. Lie you won't tear down. Coming after me. There's no shadow you up. Mountain you won't climb up. Coming after me. [Music] You won't take down you won't turn out. Coming after me. All the overwhelming with the breathless love of God. Oh, it chases me down by my grounding to 99. [Music] I couldn't I don't deserve it. Still you give yourself away. all the overwhelming everlending madness of God. >>
