didn't have anything to do with it but wouldn't be anything in it but beef jerky if you've done it so I'm glad you turned that over to the ladies you go ahead and do your little opening remarks believe the rest of it to the ladies thank you for coming putting our voices together what a great praise team good great give them a good hand yes sir I'd love to hear men sing I thought about some time ago if I could interview somebody out of the Bible who would I interview who would like to sit down and just talk to just sit down at a kitchen table type thing you know and talk to them I thought you know I there's a lot of people you know and I I was thinking about Lazarus I'd just like to sit down and talk with him you know here's a report what does it feel like when you were dying and Jesus wasn't there well how did I know how Martha felt I know how Mary felt but how'd you feel you know you're the one dying they're not how did it feel when your body was decomposed and you were sneaking by now and all of a sudden you heard your name called what'd that feel like you know when your body started coming back together you probably had the greatest testimony of any biblical character and some of the people raised the dead but none that stinketh by now it's like to know how I felt you know in your in your Bible there's not recorded one word that Lazarus said I know he said some things but God saw to it no one wrote it down as people came from everywhere to see Lazarus Putin wouldn't walk across the street to see Jesus they were more interested in the testimony than they were in the power who raised him from the dead God will not share his glory with another so it's not about your testimony it's about what God has done for you that gave you a testimony so I don't need to hear from Lazarus I need to learn how to worship God and praise God and give him glory so if you start accepting Glory worms are going to have a buffet on you for a man that absorbs the things that rightfully belong to God I love to see men worship because of course the Bible's concerned is patriarchal it's about Abraham Isaac and Jacob it's not about Sarah Rachel and anybody else it's just about the only thing that matriarchal works well in is the elephant herd or hyenas now you can pick one of those if you want to be you don't want to be patriarchal you know you can be matriarchal even God wouldn't travel unless he wrote on the shoulders of men the seraphims never flip flapped their wings you know God did not levitate himself the Israel had to pick up the Ark of the Covenant it rode on the shoulders of men God said I'll go to church if you can find a man to take me I'll do resurrection power Aaron's budding Rod he'll have somebody carry me I'll have a pot of Mana for you divine Provisions if you'll have somebody carry it and Men carried it to the temple wrote on the shoulders of the men I know women do a lot I'm not negating women Lord help me for that I'm not I'm not I'm just saying Tabernacle wrote on the shoulders of men They carried it They Carried God's well between the seraphims and seraphims and then flap their wings and God said I'm not walking so some man will have to carry me to church and when men come to church bearing the presence of God on their shoulders It Changes Everything Changes Everything is everything how we have gotten here in this generation that I'm living in but it's not a part of my generation it's not the generation I was born into and and what I see around me is previously unknown it's an unknown place in America where one in five Americans are are suffer some mental health issues where most of us when we were born that kind of mental issue was not an issue we'd say things like people around their mind you know and we kind of you know we didn't really say you have a mental issue you know that but but today is very common I I if I can drive I don't fly because there's too many people on airplanes with mental issues every day a plane has to turn around and go back to the gate and have the police meet them to take somebody off the plane or they have to go on to the destination and the police have to greet them and they have to they have them under constraints on the plane what on Earth is wrong with your thirty thousand feet above the Earth can't you get along for an hour and a half you know without being stupid without being ignorant it's an hour and a half and there's no place to go it's not like you can get off we're all hostages there you know but they spit on the flight attendants I'm thinking what does that accomplish you know you try to get the to try to get the emergency exit open you take your shoes off and put upon the head rest of the people in front of you you think nobody's going to say anything you know so the plane has to turn around and go back to the origin and or it has to go on and because people seem to have some they're disoriented somehow in their lives I'm not an expert in this I don't even claim to be remotely an expert in all this mental stuff you know it's that's way beyond my pay grade Way Beyond my knowledge and understand the only thing that gives me a little bit of help is I did Pastor for 50 years yeah I've pastored some people that needed a lobotomy or I felt they did but there must have been a long line because they never got one so so I'm that's just a little disclaimer about this and uh I want to try to preach to you tonight to help you and uh now the book of Isaiah first chapter verses one through five I'll read for you you can stand if that church rather if I had my druthers you'd set for the reading and stand for the preaching but since you don't do that we stand for the reading because that's important Isaiah 1 verses one through five Cinema Isaiah the son of Amos which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah jotham ahaz and Hezekiah Kings of Judah hero heaven and give ear o Earth for the Lord has spoken I have nourished and brought up children and they have rebelled against me the Oxana with his owner and they asked his master's crib but Israel does not know my people does not consider our sinful Nation people Laden with iniquity and Seed of evil doers children that are corrupters they have forsaken the Lord they have provoked the Holy One of Israel to anger they are going away backward fifth verse why should you be stricken anymore you will Revolt more and more then he diagnoses the problem the whole head is sick and the whole heart is faint this message I want to I've titled it The Manhunt I won't really bring that in until the end or close to the end at least the man hunt let's pray and ask God to help us thank you Lord for your mercy for your grace for the kindness you've shown to this generation thank you every man who's left his home and his family and perhaps his children behind to come to this Men's Conference this not be idle talk give me wisdom and understanding heart dear God cause me to forget any error with any miscalculation I may have in my heart or my mind or in my speech Let It Be words that could be lived by their God wholly acceptable unto the Lord I Thank you for it in advance for your wonderful Mighty and glorious Lord in Jesus name amen amen in the first five verses of Isaiah he gives you an overview of his book using the words in that day it is the days of Four Kings the days of Uzziah and jothom and ahaz and Hezekiah those Four Kings he bases his vision all of the results of those Four Kings that were born he begins his book like that say it was in those days of those Four Kings in verse 2 he God calls Heaven and Earth to attention because the word that he's given is universal is timeless is for every generation born and The Unborn in heaven and on Earth there will be no exemption for all chosen people who Rebel when God has nourished you up above all else this is about this is not something said to the Assyrians or to the Babylonians or to some of the nation or some of the culture or some of the tribe this is Heaven and Earth is being called to attention Angels fold your wings and take a seat earthlings but you can't put your phones down take your ear plugs out stop listening to music but to dish towel down vacuum cleaner away and everybody listen both in heaven and in Earth both the word Heaven meaning lofty and the other being down to earth you're down to the lower levels the lofty and the lower levels I want everybody to pay attention and give me your ear because I have something to say to you I have something to say to you because he says to those that I have nourished now if God has been good to you and God has nourished you and provided for you and taking care of you and watched over you and fed you and housed you and clothed you and gave you everything that you've got this is for you I nourished you I've enlarged you I increased you I lifted you up and promoted you I gave you an estate I developed you and fed you and provided for you I sustained you I gave you help I gave you life yet with all these benefits you rebelled against God I gave you everything that I could possibly give you to nourish you and yet in spite of all of that you have left me behind and have rebelled against me it sounds something like America's there is no country like America that has been nourished like the rest of the world we have more this is the greatest nation regardless of all of his handicaps and all of its errors and everything that's wrong it's still the best place on planet Earth because God has nourished it God has fed it and clothed it and housed it and give it more than any other nation has ever had but God's when I nourish you I expect something out of you I expect some loyalty I'd expect some consideration that you'll be given to me but nevertheless you have all these benefits you have rebelled against God he gave these men these Four Kings used them in their lives to explain to you why the world was in the shape it was in because it was all under these four kings that that that Isaiah would would would position himself and give his his his his his thoughts about why people were like they are in the days of Uzziah you know he reigned for 52 years and was a great king there's no threats to his throne no one running against him all the other king stood in all of him his kingdom was Secure but but too much is Never Enough learn that too much is never enough when you get too many cars that one never be enough you have too many bathrooms it's never enough I don't know how many you can use in your house but hate to clean them you know I don't want five or six bathrooms my kids would use every one of them every day the Bible said when he was strong his heart was lifted up to his Destruction for he transgressed against the Lord his God went into the Temple of the Lord to burn incense upon the altar of incense and they tried to stop him but Uzziah refused any kind of Correction in his life he could not be corrected he had been King so long and his word was so final and his word was the order of the day what he said that's what he wanted he didn't think anybody could stop him for what he wanted to do and what he intended on doing and leprosy the Bible said Rose in his forehead and he was driven from the temple the origin of of leprosy doesn't always start in the forehead generally like Naaman it'll start someplace where you can cover it up but the end goal is that it will metastasize and it's going to end up in your forehead it's going to end up in the frontal lobe of your head and that's where your decisions are made that's where you come to conclusions about projecting consequences into your actions is hearing this frontal lobe and leprosy is headed to your head wherever it starts in your toe but it won't stay in your toe it won't stay in your arm it will stay in your leg you can cover it up for a while but eventually it's going to get in the place where you make decisions without any thought of the consequences of your decision because it rises up in your forehead that's when you have to put your hand over your mouth and say unclean unclean unclean you don't have to say that because nobody knows to begin with but everybody will know and he could not change because he didn't predict the consequences of his actions the Bible said better as a poor and wise child than an old and foolish King who will no longer be admonished for He reigns out of a prison and everybody born his kingdom is poor I am getting old but I'm doing my best not to be foolish because when you're old king and you are a foolish Old King you'd better have a poor and a wise child in charge of things because he reigns out of a prison of his own ignorance when you get to the point that you don't think you're correctable anymore nobody can tell you what you need to do no one can have any authority over your life you're setting yourself up to get some leprosy in your forehead to what you will not consider the consequences of what you're about to do you don't consider what's going to happen to you he was driven out of church for 52 years but he was not correctable jotham is his son that had it he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord according to all that his father Uzziah did he wanted to portray his father he knew what was the right thing to do so he he gave to the poor and he took care of things and he invented all kinds of built towers and invented all kinds of events he did all the good things that his father did how be it the Bible said he entered not into the Temple of the Lord albeit he never went to church he lived his life doing good deeds and good works and good things in his life but he just never went to the church he never had an altar in his life he never made a sacrifice in his life he didn't have a labor in his life he didn't have a pot of manna in his life he didn't have any he didn't have a table of showbread of Fellowship in his life he didn't have a candlesticks in his life to shine some light upon his behavior he didn't have an ark of the covenant in his life he didn't have a mercy seat in his life he did a lot of good things like some people do you know men are good about doing some good things you'll give money and you'll hand the guy with a cardboard sign a little money that ain't enough you need to go to church you need a man of God in your life you need Spiritual Authority in your life because doing good things will not suffice it will not suffice you say but I'm a good man being a good man is not enough you have to have Spiritual Authority and you need a pastor is what you need yourself about I don't need to go to church I can pray at home I can sing at home I can do this and that in the other room that stuff don't fly that's jotham how well that worked out for him how well did that work out for you jotham the Bible said they had no real love for God it is house and the Bible said his his father was driven from the temple so he never went to the temple because Sons only do what their fathers have done they see their fathers do it if you wouldn't have an impact on your children behave yourself take some consequences of what's going to be the results of your behavior and don't do that cause your son will not do and follow your behavior the Bible said in the people did yet corruptly the word this is amazing since he had no church in his life had no temple in his life had no priesthood in his life had no sacrifices in his life he just went around doing the good things that his father did his life was spiritually empty God was not a part of his decisions or his choices or morals any sway in his life it was not in his thoughts the word because the Bible said then his people did yet corruptly the word corruptly is defined by poisoning of the Mind when you get your mind poisoned you see you do corrupt things and his mind have been poisoned by the fact that he never went to the temple he never offered a sacrifice he never offered a lamb and laid his hands on one for his own sins and transgressions he just walked around doing good things like his father had done but he poisoned the mind of himself and it poisoned the mind of all that he was leading and all the people the Bible said they did corruptly that is the son of the man when leprosy rose up in his forehead ahabs and ahas took the silver and gold that was found in the house of the Lord and the Treasures of the King's house sent it for a present to the king of Assyria he bought the Assyrians off with the Treasures of the house of God to fight his battles for him I don't want to go fight I don't I don't have time for that kind of stuff you know so I'll just pay somebody else to go do my battles for me so I mean he ravaged the house of God because it doesn't make any difference about the house of God my daddy never went so why should I care about the house of God so he stripped it down and paid it to foreign powers to fight his battles for him before they walked in the way of the Kings and he made molten images for Balaam moreover he burned incense in the Valley of the son of hinan and burned his children in the fire he offered his kids as human sacrifices in the fire I wonder how Uzziah feels now was it worth it going in the house of God to offer up incense so that your great grandkids could be burned in the belly of a false god that you wouldn't have any Heritage left in your life that you would produce nothing in your life because your great grandkids will be burned up as human sacrifice so you can have five minutes of pleasure offering up sacrifice in the house of God you're now a leper in your forehead and your great grandkids are burning up in a fire dedicated to a false god it's a how's it working out for you so Jonathan Jonathan he poisoned the mind of his son he didn't go to church and Ahab sold the church and stripped it down and gave the false gods Hezekiah he had a great beginning restored the kingdom of the priesthood the temple he also trusted God the Babylonians visit because Hezekiah got sick you know and when you're sick you there's some some guests came you know and brought him some chicken noodle soup or whatever Babylon is bringing you and uh they would show them they had compassion they felt sorry for him because he'd been sick so he said come on in boys so they came in and uh he starts showing them around his house and showed him the Corrals and showed him all the folks and everything all the silver and gold all the precious stones that he had he showed him he took him into the treasure chest and he showed them all of his fine clothes and showed him everything but he didn't show him the temple he never took the Babylonians to the house of God it says this where we worship at he just showed them everything that he owned and possessed he's so narcissistic he's so he's got his mind has been poisoned now he doesn't care about the church he didn't care about the house of God he's going to show the Babylonians how much wealth and how much power and how much how much he has his pride was in his house and his car and his wardrobe and his worth and Isaiah said to him what the Babylonians see when they came to your house he said there's nothing they did not see I showed them everything just take them to the temple you take them to the house of God no I didn't show them that you know that's not the Highlight they didn't care about seeing that but she'll never think it was in my in my house everything that I owned the curse was laid upon his life because Isaiah said the Babylonians will be back and they're going to carry everything in your house away and they will take your sons and make eunuchs out of them and leave you no Heritage no genealogy no growth for the future it Hezekiah this is how his the leprosies in his mind too because he doesn't consider the repercussions of his decision they're going to make eunuchs out of all of your sons and his response to that was good is the word of the Lord would say house spoken it's good I understand that's what he's going to do I understand that's what's going to happen and he said is it not good if peace and Truth be in my days I don't care about my sons I don't care about my children as long as I have peace in my days so if God will let me live long enough I know my sons are going to be eunuchs and they'll never bear any children I'll never have any Heritage they'll be carried away into Babylon I will lose everything that I've ever had and Ever Wanted it'll all be gone but I don't care about that as long as it doesn't happen in my days as long as I get to live that's the most selfish self-centered you understand why the book of Isaiah was written these four men are the basis that provided a spawning ground for all the catastrophes because men you carry a great deal of Leverage in your life and on your shoulders that future Generations are counting on you to go to the house of God the counting on you not being a leper they're counting on you they're counting you not just to do good things but to go to church and be in the house of God the counting or the next generation is counting on some men that will rise up and say listen I'm considering the consequences of my life I don't want to live like that it's not about me surviving it's about your children surviving babbling once watch you show them and they'll come back and get it they'll come back and get it the Nebuchadnezzar did come back and get it God condemns Judah by contrasting them with an ox and an ass or the new King James the ox and the Donkey they are both quite unlearned they're rather dumb we use the term dumb as a ox I won't use the other one but but they're both born with common sense which is a lost nugget at the lives of people to know that they have an owner and this owner has a crib where they are nourished and they are fed common sense is an ordinary standard it's average it's not I'm educated education desired or needed you know no special quality no training imposed so both the S and the ox know they are not independent or self-sustaining though both are different yet Nature Made Them equal in this regard to have this inborn sense you know oxygen oxen I've never seen a trained Ox you know like in a circus or something you know Bambino and his trained oxen there's there's horses and and about every kind of an animal you can think of you know being a circus you know but I never see anybody come in with a trained Ox you know because the only thing an ox knows is he has an owner he's not self-possessed he's not in charge of himself he has an owner and when the owner drops the gate down takes him out of the bar and he's going to one or two places he's going to be sacrificed on a one-way trip or he's going to go out and plow but he understands his owner has the last word in his life and he lives and dies according to the one that owns him he knows that he maybe can't count with his hooves like trigger does or he may not be able to do tricks and jump through a fire hoop or he may not be able to do other kind of things that would draw attention to himself because the only thing an ox knows is I have an owner someone owns me someone has charge of me you know it's it's this inborn sense of a natural understanding and recognition it's it's common intelligence given to think and reason soundly you know they know they need an owner someone to care for them shelter them from the cold storms of life protect them from their enemies and dangers that surround them heal them from the wounds of life when their strength is gone they need the owner's crib they need to know a place where they can come back and get fed to restore and sustain them so the oxygen of the ass are not creatures born of high intelligence yet they are well aware that they cannot survive being independent they need an owner and they need that owner's crib that's an oxen and NASA knows those two things they don't know enough to do anything else they can't be trained necessarily they're ignorant they're dumb but they have more he says but Israel does not know Israel is not as smart as a ox and an ass they're not that smart they don't understand they need me they can't make it without me they understand I have a stall where I feed them at but they don't come to get fed yet they are well aware they cannot survive being independent so what the ox of your Bible said what the ox and they asked to do Israel did not know Judah had become a sinful Nation like an ox or an ass Laden or loaded with iniquity they were the seed of evil doers offspring of parents that had no common sense in the need of an owner and his crib and the Bible said they've gone backward so men try to be at least as smart you don't have to be a genius you don't have to have a college education just be as smart as a as an ox or an ass be that smart that you need an owner and you need that owner's crib you need to know where I can be fed and restored and I to know somebody owns me Isaiah continues why should you be stricken anymore you'll just Revolt more and more because the whole head is sick and the whole heart is faint God has stricken you time and time again but it never changed your behavior I've sent enemies and famine and hail and death to no avail I've wounded you I've punished you beat you and yet you remain corrupt problem seems to be and got diagnosed it himself this is not a physical problem he said your whole head is sick you have some spiritual mental problem because see people that have mental problems don't relate their punishment to their behavior so you can punish a person that's mentally ill and they don't relate that if I change my behavior I wouldn't be punished anymore because they're mentally incapable they don't align the two things together so it does very little good to punish a person who has is mentally ill because they don't associate that with their behavior but you should if God punishes you you should know that I need to stop doing that you know because as long as I keep doing that and God keeps punishing me that's sound thinking you see they're smart as an ox now this head he said is diseased and weak and it's been wounded and the decision God made was that the sickness was not physical but rather mental so to strike them was useless so God will change his tactics and punish in Judah people lose their ability to reason they have become mentally ill if you can't reason it out as to why you're in the shape that you're in you must have a mental problem if your money's not going far enough and you're not paying your tithes reason it out don't be ignorant be as smart as a ox at least reasoning out if you're not mentally ill come with up a reason as to why the situation is like it is you're putting your money in a bag it's got a hole in it you know the reason it out so the hole up pay your tithes God looked at Israel Judah and come to the conclusion that they were heads sick because I've done everything due to them a punishment I punish them in every way yet they keep rebelling and rebelling and rebelling because they don't understand how to reason out why they're in the shape they're in because they will not yield to me they're sick and disease his was God's remedy for that in Isaiah 3. one to four let me say this I I I went to the to the I don't want to to the psych ward in in a hospital to visit a man and uh we sent out the table together and he cries all the time just Weeps and I tried to figure out you know I'm not I'm not a psychiatrist I don't I don't you know I'm not I don't have any Talent like that but you know if you come into your child's weeping you usually ask what's wrong baby you know or if you come home and your wife's crying and and you say what's wrong and she says nothing you know that's not true you start going through the records of your mind as to what you have done or left undone you know trying to figure out why is my wife crying why is my wife crying something's gone wrong something is wrong you know it is whether you get her to say it or not it's wrong something has gone wrong you know what's wrong honey and and and and so this man sat down and I said you know he was crying his eyes were all galded and red his face was all washed out he was a young guy I say young the older the older you get the older old is so I'm following guys got his turn signal on for the last 30 miles and I'm thinking that old coot needs to learn how to turn it start and say hello and I get up there and he's younger than I am you know so foreign he's crying all the time and I said you know is it is it is it your home is something wrong in your home no well is it your wife are you having problems with your wife no no no no is it your kids I go through all the check marks that I can think of you know is it your job no no no you start crying again I'm thinking I've run out of things that are attributed to you know I don't know what to say to you to because generally when somebody's cries there's something somewhere that you can come up with that causes that to be like that you know there's some reason for it I'm a reasonable person now God said come let us reason together he didn't say come let's get radical together or come let's get our limb saw it off or let's come get out in the left field he said come let us read you got to be a reasonable person this book is made for reasonable people if you're going to be radical this book has nothing to say to you come and let us reason together saith the Lord we'll talk it out between you and I and we'll come up with what the problem is and what's wrong in your life it will settle this thing right here so I finally gave up and went home and I thought I could not find any reason he's got a beautiful wife he's got great kids they're all living for God he's got a nice beautiful home he's got a good job he makes plenty of money I can't figure out what's wrong that makes him weep and cry all the time well there's nothing wrong he has a mental problem of some kind that triggers the Weeping and doesn't have a reason or justification for it doesn't have anything you can figure out he can't explain it to me because he doesn't see that there's anything in his life that would cause him to be crying he just cries all the time it's hard to reason with people who have some mental deficiency you can't reason with them because there's no reason for them being like they are this is with God's remedy for or the consequences of it in Isaiah 3 for behold the Lord of hosts to take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff the whole stay of bread and the whole stay of water this is what I'm going to take away from you I'm going to take men away I'll take away the mighty man the man of war the judge the Prophet The Prudent the ancient the captain of 50s The Honorable man the counselor the cunning artificer the eloquent orator and I will give children to be their princes and babes shall rule over thee God is going to remove 11 kinds of men from the population of Jerusalem that will be the cost that you pay for not rising up as men and being the man that you're supposed to be for these four men that didn't care about the future didn't care about their kids didn't care about what was going to happen didn't care about the church didn't care about the temple never went that had their kids burned in in human sacrifices had leprosy and poisoned the hearts and minds of the Next Generation this is what I'll take away from you it's always men that God takes God will remove 11 kinds of men from the population of Jerusalem Mighty Men Men of War judges prophets prudent men ancient men captains cunning artificers and an elegant orators I'm going to take these men out of your life to replace them you will have babies and children to rule over you the love of men remove Almighty men be no more powerful strong Valiant men being a more Valiant man no more Champions no more men that Excel no Men of War Fighters engage in battle and warfare and warriors I'll take away all judges out of your life who know how to govern and plead and reason and Rule and vindicate the guilty uh vindicate the righteous and punish the guilty I'm going to take away prudent men careful and wise with good judgment and Common Sense carefully cautious I'll take away the prophets mouthpieces of God Inspire that anointed and ordained and will take away ancient men Elders experience tried and tested I'll get out all the captain of 50s the taskmasters the leaders the good stewards that know how to lead and give order I'll take away all the Honorable Men Who are respected with a good name integrity and distinction of honesty I'll take away all the counselors the guides and wisdom and structure and the teachers and advisors I'll take away the cunning artificers the skill who devise and constructing Craftsman inventors I'll take away the elegant orator I'll take away all the men we who are fluent and persuade and emotional and forceful and effective who are convincing coherent have a command of language and in place of all these 11 men I'll give you children to be your prince and babies will rule over you because I got four men that didn't care about the future didn't care about the Next Generation didn't care what the coast was made no attempt to understand the consequences of their behavior just went ahead and did it anyway so if those men are going to act like that that's the way you're going to act I'll take away everything out of you that has any credibility or any gifted in their lives when children and babies rule see it they're not fully developed mentally and consequently they're not easy to reason with it's hard to reason with this generation they both tend to be very fickle children and babies they're impulsive Corky and unpredictable they don't care where they are or how their behavior affects others they could be at home on an airplane you know crying baby on an airplane is let me talk about one that's really squalling you know they're not hungry they're just acting like a baby you know and a mother with a wooden spoon could probably take care of it but that's probably probably the police will be waiting for you when you plane landed probably but but I understand they're babies and babies you can't reason with a baby you can say that with a crying baby and say no listen baby these people have paid a lot of money to get on this airplane you know and you're disturbing them by you're screaming you know so if you just stop screaming here's a lifesaver to eat you know and or whatever stop doing this you know you think that baby cares that you paid a lot of money for your ticket that baby doesn't care you can't reason with a baby try it sometimes try to sit down and be
