amen i never want to take for granted what we feel in the presence of the lord i never want to take it for granted what a privilege an honor it is to be able to come into the house of the lord and to worship and to magnify him is anybody grateful that we have the opportunity to worship our lord in this room amen i'm so thankful for the presence of the lord that is here and so thankful for what god has done and what god did this morning i want to say before i get started actually before i make those remarks why don't you go ahead and turn your bibles to numbers chapter 16. we'll start reading there numbers chapter 16 and as you're turning there want to say again what a tremendous honor it is to be in the house of the lord and a tremendous honor to be here with you in knoxville and just wow i've just been blown away at this church the excellence and the the worship the spirit of unity and the friendliness this is just an incredible church if you're thankful for the church that you go to why don't you clap your hands come on can we honor this church amen all of our guests vana we honor fac knoxville what an incredible incredible church and of course we honor the leadership the mccools their incredible family bishop with cool pastor mccool for the anthony mccool his wife and of course the whitleys amen what tremendous leadership you guys have at fac knoxville can we give them a round of applause tonight leadership and uh it's such a privilege for my wife and i to be here honor the worship team man you guys y'all just have it going on i mean i was i was looking at the projection and the sinking of the lyrics and the music and i just thought man this is this is next level this is incredible what excellence and so one more time why don't you give it up for the production team the lighting the sound the worship team amen what a blessing what a blessing and i know you guys know what i said this morning but you're blessed amen i know you don't need me to tell you that but you are absolutely blessed with such talent and anointing and leadership and i honor them amen again i just i am overwhelmed every time i get an opportunity to be in such an incredible environment amen it's just an honor to be here and i am so thankful to have my wife with me she's incredible if you haven't had a chance and i i'm probably embarrassing her right now because she's she's she's kind of introverted like me we're both we're both introverts whether you believe that or not and i'm drawing attention to her right now she's probably wishing i wouldn't but i love and i appreciate her so much she's been such a tremendous blessing to me and so i honor her it's always great to have her with me amen numbers chapter 16 and we'll start reading at verse number one now i i have to admit to you i feel a little preached tonight all right i might get a little bit crazy turn to your neighbor and say he might get a little crazy some of you are looking at me right now like oh my goodness what do we just i don't know i don't know what we're about to get into but i feel right at home and that's dangerous this is dangerous amen i feel the holy ghost i feel freedom amen numbers chapter 16 starting at verse number one kind of a lengthy portion of scripture so just bear with us for a moment here the bible says now korah the son of ishar the son of kohath the son of levi and dathan in a byram the sons of eliath and on the son of palette sons of reuben took men and they rose up before moses was certain of the children of israel 250 princes of the assembly famous in the congregation men of renown and they gathered themselves together against moses and against aaron and said unto them ye take too much upon you seeing all the congregation are holy every one of them and the lord is among them wherefore then lift thee up yourselves above the congregation of the lord and the lord spake unto moses skipping down to verse 20 and the lord spake unto moses and unto aaron saying separate yourselves from among this congregation that i may consume them in a moment and they fell upon their faces and said oh god the god of the spirits of all flesh shall one man sin and will thou be wrath with all the congregation and the lord spake unto moses saying speak unto the congregation saying get you up from about the tabernacle of korah dathan in a byram and moses rose up and went unto nathan and abyram and the elders of israel followed him and he spake unto the congregation saying the part i pray you from the tents of these wicked men and touched nothing of theirs lest ye be consumed in all their sins so they got up from the tabernacle of korah dathan in a byram on every side and dathan and abyram came out and stood in the door of their tents and their wives and their sons and their little children and moses said hereby ye shall know that the lord hath sent me to do all these works for i have not done them of mine own mind if these men die the common death of all men or if they be visited after the visitation of all men then the lord hath not sent me but this is what i want to focus on for the next few moments tonight verse number 30 says but if the lord make a new thing turn to your neighbors say a new thing [Music] and the earth open her mouth and swallow them up with all that appertain unto them and they go down quick into the pit then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the lord with the help of the holy ghost and i do need the help of the holy ghost tonight i want to preach on this topic when god is made to make turn your neighbor and take and say when god is made to me come on why don't you say that when god is made to me i believe tonight that god is getting ready to make some new things do you believe that i said i believe that god is getting ready to restore some things and change some things and transform some things if you believe that won't you lift up your hands one more time and let's pray together god i pray in the name of the lord jesus christ that you will speak in this room oh lord move by your spirit anoint our ears to hear in our hearts to receive lord let me speak with us saith the word of the lord i pray in jesus name for freedom and liberty i pray right now lord god that the word would go forth with power oh god in the name of the lord jesus christ we give you praise fill somebody with the holy ghost tonight heal somebody's body do a new thing in this place tonight god and we'll forever give your name the praise and the glory somebody clap your hands unto the lord [Music] oh somebody do that with all of your might right now come on somebody do that with all of your strength right now hallelujah [Applause] amen you may be seated in the presence of the lord i i have a question for you now this will determine whether or not we're going to get along tonight i'm just letting you know this at the very start okay this is a little questionnaire do i have anybody that loves animals in the room i need you to make a little noise if you like all right all right praise god we're i think we're gonna be okay now now that now that's the first test okay now here comes the second one okay uh so if if you like dogs if your team dogs make some noise praise the lord brother anthony i think i'm in the holy ghost right now i think i'm in the right church i think we're okay because you know where i'm going next team cats make some noise [Applause] now listen every single one of you this is what i need i don't even mind this if you can come down to the altar right now we're just going to pray for you we'll lay hands on you and anoint you because something's wrong [Applause] amen i love animals uh now some some of us older folk and i say older folk because i'm over 30 and i appreciate young people a lot so i'm old now okay so i know some of you are looking like you young whipper snapper you don't know what old is but i i'm just gonna put myself in that some of some of the younger folk you know you know on instagram how you can pull up that uh instagram feed and it has your saved videos on there my wife can attest to this my saved videos on instagram are all of animals doing weird things i i just love animals i mean i have animals on there eating birthday cake dogs eating birthday cake and just weird random things like that because i love looking at animals i love admiring god's creation and one of my favorite things to do pastor mccool is i love watching animals defend themselves now but some of you are thinking you are you're really you really are crazy you're a sick twisted creature you love watching animals die no quite the contrary okay i love it when animals backs are against the wall and there is seemingly no way out for them when all of a sudden they pull out their secret weapon that propels them to victory one of my favorite animals is central african species of frog they call them the hairy frog i want you to take a look at this guy look at that the hairy frog look at that guy right there some of y'all are like why are you showing us that this central african species of frog who in addition to growing strands of skin along the sides of their body that resemble hair can actually break their toe bones when threatened and push them through the skin to form sharp claws for warding off would-be attackers or how about my least favorite animal on the planet now i don't like cats but this animal my least favorite animal on the planet the opossum okay go to that picture of the possum oh lord now listen if you want to see me scream like a little girl you bring one of those things and i promise you i will take off out of here and i will not come back possums they they they they have this innate ability and they they this involuntary response you know what they do they respond to intense fear by falling into this comatose-like state for sometimes hours that makes them unappetizing to would-be predators or how about the hagfish this ill-shaped marine animal has the incredible ability to slime their enemies when threatened and they emit a slime from their pores that when mixed with water expands into a gelatinous goo that can either trap their predators or suffocate them by clogging their gills and last but certainly not least the texas horned lizard this spiky creature can intimidate some animals by just its appearance but if that doesn't work and it finds itself being cornered the lizard steps it up a notch and squirts out a well-aimed stream of blood out of his eyes now usually i have maybe it's oh there it goes look at that some of you are like i wish i would have never seen that in my life why did you just show us that i'm weird i told you i like that stuff that like that's right down my alley i'm like that's pretty cool jesus i like how you did that but these animals have this ability to defend themselves and i love watching this because when their backs are against the wall and they are seemingly cornered by their enemies something on the inside of them is accessed and activated and they begin to do things that otherwise they would not do it is the urgency of their situation that causes for them to do incredible things can i preach to someone tonight that just as every one of these creatures has an enemy that would try to corner them our god has an enemy that tries to corner him satan since the moment he felt like lightning from the heavens has been the bitter enemy of god and throughout the course of history satan has had a deliberate plan to back the god of all creation into a corner and now in the 21st century it seems in many ways as if he has perfectly executed that plan and here we are living in one of those the most perverse if not the most perverse eras in human history timothy spoke of this very thing in second timothy 3 and 10 wherein he says in the last days evil men and seducers will grow worse and worse timothy says just when you think it can't get any worse all of a sudden there's going to be a new level of evil that will emerge just when you think people can't get any crazier hell seemingly levels up and there's a new level of crazy that is unveiled can i preach to you never has the human race been where we are today never has the church of the living god been where we are today and dare i say never has our god been where he is today and it seems as if we have been backed into a corner it seems as if there is no remedy for the lust and the sin and the deceit that surrounds us there seems to be no way out of where we are right now but i've come today to preach to every person under the sound of my voice and to the spirit realm that is in this room that our god cannot be backed into a corner i said our god cannot be trapped by the sin that surrounds us but with every dimension of resistance there is a new dimension of revival that is unveiled before our very eyes i've come to preach to somebody right now god has not been caught by surprise by the world that we're living in god is not sitting back wondering what he's going to do but can i tell you god has allowed the world to get where it is so that he can demonstrate his power and its glory to this world come on somebody i said i know you might be going through something right now but can i tell you god has allowed for those things to happen for him to show up and show you just how powerful he is he's not intimidated by your sin he's not intimidated by your situation but with every dimension of resistance there's a new dimension of its power and its glory that will be unveiled [Applause] [Music] [Applause] oh i wish i had about five people that would believe in her come on i said it's the evil and the dire to such a situation that brings out new dimensions of the spirit of god some of you have been praying god take me deeper and god said okay i gotta allow you to get yourself into some things uh i gotta allow some tribulation and some pain to come to you because when the pain comes i'm gonna show you just how powerful i am if there weren't impossible situations to face there would never be a miracle for you to celebrate if you never had to cry yourself to sleep at night sometimes you never know what it's like to experience the delivering power of god but god has allowed you to go through hell so that he can show you the power that comes from heaven god has allowed you to go through everything you're facing because he wants to show you i'm bigger i'm greater come on i said i'm stronger than anything the devil can throw at you i'm stronger come on i've got the power i've got the authority i'm greater oh just when the enemy thinks that he's one can i tell somebody in this place that's when god demonstrates a new realm of his power and glory god uses tough situations to reveal his power to his people if you never go anything go through anything you can never testify of the goodness and the power of god if you never face any hardship you will never testify of a god that is able to deliver and set free but can i tell somebody right now you're in a setup for god to demonstrate his power and his glory to you you've been asking god why am i going through hell why have i been suffering with sickness in my body why have i been going through what i'm going through god's saying because i'm getting ready to show you how great i am i'm getting ready to show you how awesome i am don't you be dismayed don't you fret don't you worry i'm still on the throne i still have the power i still have the authority and if you hold on just a little bit longer i'll bring you out i'll deliver you i'll set you free i'll save your family i'll turn your life around oh somebody lift up your voice and give god a shout in this room [Applause] i've heard people say i've never seen a world with young people as rebellious as the one that we're living in right now you know what my response to them is my response to them is this you're absolutely right but i've also never seen a world with young people as on fire for god as the one that we're living in right now come on come on i'll come to preach to some young person right now god chose you to be born in the 21st century he didn't choose paula he didn't choose silas he chose you why because god knows when the world gets worse when the world gets better there's going to be some young person that's going to stand up and my anointing's going to work through them and they're going to do things we've never seen the world come on there's some 15 year old that's going to lay hands on somebody they're going to be healed there's some 12 year old that's going to lay hands on somebody and they're going to get the holy ghost there's some 11 year old and 13 year old that's going to start a p7 that revolutionizes their world come on somebody i know it's difficult i know it's hard but we're living in the greatest days of the church of the living god come on don't deep don't be dismayed you're a person don't you fret i know it's difficult to live for god i know you have obstacles but your obstacles are an opportunity for god to prove himself [Applause] i've heard people say especially last year we've never seen a world not in our lifetime maybe not ever where so many people are sick you know what i say you're right in my lifetime and most people that are living right now in their lifetimes we haven't lived through a pandemic we haven't lived through something like this we haven't lived through a society where it seems like cancer is running so rampantly but you know what i also respond to them and say but we've also never lived in a world where so many people are receiving miracles where so many people are being miraculously healed by the power of god oh i wish i had about five people come on i'm telling you right now people are being healed right now cancer is being healed right now blinded eyes are being opened right now deaf and ears are being come on you've come too late to tell me that god can't heal i've already seen him heal i know it's dark right now i know it's tough right now but i don't look at it as just an obstacle it's my opportunity to tell somebody jesus can heal you jesus can deliver you jesus come on somebody come on you need to be encouraged he's still a healer by his stripes i'm healed by his stripes i'm healed i claim it's healing in my life oh i wonder if somebody right now would just claim that i wonder if somebody would put an amen on that right now some about somebody in this room needs to be healed somebody and the enemies whispered in your ear the enemies whispered in your ear that you there's no way you're going to get out you've been backed into a corner but i've come to tell you god still heals cancer god still heals diabetes god still heals broken bones it's an opportunity [Applause] for god to prove himself brother wilson i've never seen a world so sinful so perverse but you know the scripture where sin does abound grace does much more about you want more grace i want to let you know you got to have more sin you want more demonstration you got to have more problems you want more power you got to have more problems but don't you worry don't you fret the more problems come the more god is going to be able to prove he's the only god and jesus is his name come on somebody jesus is greater now than he's ever been because it's becoming abundantly clear buddha can't save me only come on jesus is the only wise god he's the one with the power he's the one with the authority he's the one that is able god is proving himself there there are people that would say brother wilson i i just i don't know right now with what i'm going through we've all said this there seems to be no way out you ever say that there's no way maybe you haven't said it to your brothers and sisters in the church because you you know that's not what you're supposed to say but maybe you thought maybe you've kind of muttered that under your breath before god there's no way i'm done my family will never be saved i'll never be healed i'll always be this way i'll always suffer but i love what happens in isaiah chapter 43. we find israel is in a similar situation they are faced with captivity they've been in captivity held in captivity by the babylonians for years and it seems as if there is no way out but the prophet isaiah speaks to them the word of the lord and isaiah 43 and 19 and he says behold i will do a new thing turn your neighbor and say a new thing god said i'm going to do something i've never done before because many times here's what we need to understand in order for god to do a new thing a new miracle do something that he's never done before there also has to be a new circumstance that we're facing there has to be an obstacle that we've never faced before for god to demonstrate his greatness he has to allow things god god doesn't make bad things happen but god will remove his hand and allow for things to happen you see you think you think god's not in god's in control god has not been taken by surprise by the world that we're living in you say god where are you what are you doing you've let the world go why doesn't god care god says i do care but i need to prove myself to people because if everything was perfect in their life they would never have need for me if everything was great in their life they'd never pray they never fast but i gotta allow some things to happen i gotta allow for them to go into captivity i have to allow for them to be bound by some things so that i can prove that i can do a new thing and that i'm the god that can save and deliver them we find that he says to the children of israel via the prophet isaiah behold i will do a new thing now it shall spring forth shall ye not know it i will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert can i preach to somebody when you say of your situation there is no way out you're absolutely telling the truth there is no way out for you when you say of your family situation there's no way out there's no way my family can be saved when you say of your uh health condition there's no way that i can be healed there's no way that i can have this healing that i need you're absolutely right there is no way out for you but can i preach to you also that our god does not need for there to be a way for our bible let's just know when there is no way our god is a way maker that's why we shout that's why we dance that's why we rejoice because god allows things to get bad god allows for it to seem impossible so that he can show up and prove his power come on somebody we serve the waymaker we serve the miracle worker he's the god that is able to make something out of nothing [Applause] can i tell somebody the same god that spoke the worlds into existence nothing existed god speaks let there be light light says i don't even know what i am but i better show up he just spoke let there be light light just showed up on the scene i don't even know who i am but he spoke can i tell somebody just like he spoke thin he can speak now just like he spoke something out of nothing then he could speak something out of nothing right now you just need to have enough faith to believe come on he's getting ready to make away from me he's getting ready to bring me out oh i wish i had about 10 people right now that was saying my family is coming out my family i know it doesn't seem likely right now but i'm going to dance because they're coming out i'm going to shout i'm gonna worship because my god is getting ready to make a way for me oh somebody give god praise right now or somebody give god worship right now come on i said he's making a way i said he's making a way how i know it's no way right now but don't you worry our god is getting ready to make a way for you somebody shout yes [Applause] behold i will do a new thing i'm getting ready to make a way brother wilson i've tried to live for god i've tried my best do you know how many times i've tried to live for god do you know how many times i've tried to do right but the temptations that are overwhelming me the the temptations that are surrounding me from this world there's just no way out this world has so many things that would pull on us and try to lure us in i can't do it there's no way out you know what i say to you so you're absolutely right there is no way in the flesh by yourself on your own there is no way out but i love what first corinthians 10 and 13 says it says there hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man but god is faithful who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able but will with the temptation also make a way to escape it i come to preach to somebody you can live for god in the 21st century because god is making a way for you come on i've come to preach every devil in hell that would convince you that you can't live for god you can't be holy you come on the devil is a liar yes you can because you got a god that's already made a way of escape for you you just gotta begin to search for it you just gotta be i know there's a way somewhere i know it's harder but god already promised in his word that he's gonna make away from me come on you can be victorious over pornography you can't be victorious over sinner i know it's difficult i know it's hard but god has already made a way for you to escape it come on you don't have to live in fear you don't have to live in anxiety god is getting ready to make a way for you huh come on i know the temptation of this world will tell you there's something better out there there's something out there for come on the devil is a liar you can live for god because god is here and he's making a way oh somebody lift up your hands right now and rejoice hold somebody lift up your voice and rejoice in that fact right now [Applause] i'm coming out because he's making a way [Applause] i shall be free because he's making a way the fight has already been won turn your neighbor and tell him it's a fixed fight tell them you already have the advantage you don't even know it this fight comes pre-made with a way for you to be victorious over the devil now i know what it seems like right now i know what it seems like but we have the word of the lord that lets us know this thing is already over some of you are giving up and you already have the victory the devil comes and tempts you the devil comes and and knocks on your door and tells you all the things you'll never do and never be and you'll never have and some of you are like oh my goodness devil you're i think you're right not even realizing not even having the the ability to recognize that god is if you just look a little bit god's already provided a way for you to escape but sometimes we just listen to what the enemy says and just believe it but i wonder if somebody would remember what the word of the lord lets us know come on the devil is a liar and the truth is not in him when the devil tells you you can't be victorious you need to rise up and say devil yes i can because god's already promised me i'm gonna i'm coming out of this thing because he's making a way where the devil tells you you can't be healed you need to rise up and say yes i can because my god is already made away for me oh somebody clap your hands somebody give lord praise in this room may be seated we're fine i promise you i won't be too much longer we find the story in our scripture text the bible says that korah dathan in a byram these men gather themselves against moses and against aaron and the bible says that they approached them and they say to moses and aaron you guys think that you have it all together i'm paraphrasing you guys think that you are holy you guys think that you are the only ones that can hear from god you guys think that you're right i got news for you moses and aaron all the congregation is holy you think you have all the answers we have the answers you know what it was it was evil cloaked and benevolence they began to try to convince the people of israel that they really had their best interest at heart but moses and aaron did not and you know the way in which they convinced the people and sway and persuade the people to go their way instead of the way of the man of god you know how they did it the bible says that cora dated an environment took famous men men of renown and those men because of their fame and their notoriety begin to sway people to go against what the man of god and what the word of god had already spoken to be true can i tell you it is no different in the world that we live in right now and some of us are so fickle in our thinking that just because someone famous says something just because somebody has a million followers on instagram and they preach on cnn or fox or whatever your persuasion whatever your choice is whatever your taste is that what they're saying must be true but can i tell you it is evil cloaked and benevolence i don't care who you are i don't care how famous you are i don't care how many zeros are behind the numbers in your bank account if you're not aligning with this book if you're not aligning with it i don't want to hear what you have to say i won't let evil men i won't let famous men i will let the allure of fame and notoriety dissuade me from what my god says but i decided as for me and my house we're going to serve the lord as for me and my house we've chosen to believe the report of the lord i don't care how many degrees you have if you're preaching against this book i ain't got nothing i want to hear from you no but he's a famous i don't care what he is i don't care who he is if he's preaching something against this book i won't listen to it if he's preaching something come on it's time for us as christians it's time for us as apostolic pentecostals to say this is who i am this is who i'm listening to and i won't let anyone or anything stop me dissuade me i've decided to follow jesus and there's no turning back for me [Applause] but the enemy knows the enemy knows humans are so mesmerized by fame that they get foggy in their thinking nathan and byron said you know what we're gonna get us some famous people around us we'll get them to start saying stuff that's not true and everybody will follow after them it'll be easy like sheep that's exactly what happens and the bible lets us know that moses and the children of israel or rather moses and aaron find themselves trapped they've been backed into a corner by a world and by a society that have used famous men to dissuade and turn people against god and the man of god backed into a corner and the bible says that moses goes to the lord because moses is thinking there is absolutely no way out of where we are right now god this is a hopeless i'm getting they're getting ready to take my life this thing is over there's no way out and the bible says that moses goes to god we find in our scripture text we read it he goes to god and says god you got to do something about this what am i going to do and the bible says this the bible says that the lord speaks to moses and says moses i'm getting ready to do a new thing but the first thing that you need to do he says i need you to separate the people because before every great demonstration there is always first a separation you want the demonstration and the power of god you cannot have the demonstration without the separation can i preach to somebody in old truth it's still right for us to be holy unto god the bible still says come out from among them and be separate saith god and touch not the unclean thing and i will receive you come on holiness is still right righteousness is still right you can't walk like the world talk like the world act like the world and expect from there to be a demonstration but you got to be separate you got to walk like jesus you got to you want the anointing you got to be separate there's a friend hear me and i hope you understand the spirit in which i am saying this right now i hope you understand that what i am saying i'm saying in a spirit of love everybody hear me but i'm going to preach to you the truth in love right now because even though the truth hurts sometimes it's still the truth i need everybody to hear me because there's a spirit in this age that would tell you that you can just be any kind of way you can act any type of way you can dress any type of way you can do anything that you want to do as long as you just love jesus can i tell you the moment that you get rid of separation is the moment you get rid of demonstration you might have a bunch of lights camera in action you might have a bunch of hyper but can i tell you without separation god will not receive you the glory will depart from you there's there's a friend there's a friend who spoke of a church that had left truth their crowd got bigger they had more people than they ever had but he came a group of them came to my friend they said we've had bigger crowds than we've ever had we've had more people than we've ever had but you know what something has happened we used to see our young people slain in the spirit we used to see our young people on fire for god we used to see people worshiping and praising and magnifying god but something has happened we can feel the presence of god yeah we come into church and there are more people there but god is not there what's happening my friend looked at them and said i can tell you what's happened you've let go of some things and when you let go of separation you let go of demonstration when you let go of holiness you let go of demonstration come on somebody i've come to preach to somebody if you want to keep what you have if you want to keep what we're enjoying right now don't you let famous people tell you you can do anything you want to do the devil is a liar you got to be separate you gotta be holy you gotta live like jesus because if you want demonstration you gotta have separation somebody say amen [Applause] says separate the people because i'm getting ready to do something but i can't do it if they're i can't do it moses if they're with if they're aligned with the people of this world separate the people the bible says after that separation comes and i'm coming to a close right now and i want the musicians and singers to come the bible says moses and the people moses feeling cornered god there's no way out what what are we going to do i feel trapped i feel overwhelmed famous people have turned people against me what are we going to do separate yourselves then after this he says moses i want you to go to the people after they separated themselves he says i want you to go to them and i want you to tell them if korah dathan and abyram die the normal death the common death of men these guys leave out of this whole encounter and nothing happens to them they just die like everybody else he says then you'll know that i have not sent moses that i'm not god because you see our god is a god that is willing and able to prove himself we don't serve a god that's up in heaven right now just kind of wondering well you know can i just no god god is willing and able to prove himself he says you know what if if nothing happens to these guys then you're going to know that i'm not god and i have not sent these men he says but if the lord and i want you to stand all across this room right now he says but if the lord make a new thing he says in the earth open up her mouth and swallow them he says then you're going to know that i'm god that these are my men and we know the story the bible says no sooner had the words come out of the mouth of moses that god does something that he's never done before the earth opens up never been done before [Music] swallows these men and god does a new thing [Music] but here's the thing about it [Music] all of those that were gathered there got to experience the power of god when they separated themselves [Music] but there is something that you must do when you're separating yourself and this is what i want to end on and as a matter of fact i'm going to make i'm going to make a request i want us to sing the end of i thank god because it's going to go directly with what i'm getting ready to preach but if you look at that scripture the bible says that before they separate themselves that moses tells them if you want to experience the demonstration of god if you want to see god make something new the bible says that moses speaks to them and says get you up i've come to preach to somebody the devil's had you down for long enough the devil's had you bound for long enough you've been listening to the voice of the enemy that would tell you that you'll never have what god has for you you'll never be healed you'll never be delivered you know you'll never be set free but i've come to preach to you it's time for you to get up it's time for you to get up out of depression hey listen nobody can get up for you you got to make a decision to get up nobody can get it's got to be you that makes a decision i've been here long enough i dwelled in my dow logan alpha i dwelled in the company of unbelief long enough but today's the day tonight's my night i'm getting ready to get up out of the grave i'm getting ready to get up out of depression god's getting ready to make a new thing in my life so i'm going to get up if that's you in this room i want you to come down to the front with your hands lifted i don't want you to come depressed i don't want you to come sad but i want you to come saying god's getting ready to do something in my life the devil's had me bow long enough but i'm getting ready to get up out of this the devil's had me down long enough but i'm getting ready to come out of this i'm getting ready to get up out of the grave [Music] here's what i want you to do there's some people in this place you've never received the baptism of the holy ghost can i tell you that god wants god wants to feel you yes god wants to give it to you in this room here's what i want to do i want to give an opportunity for people that have never received the holy ghost to receive it if you've never received the baptism of the holy ghost before here's what we're going to do the bible lets us know in acts chapter 2 and verse 38 that the apostles are standing there they're worshiping they're praising god has poured out his spirit god has done a new thing somebody say a new thing something that has never been done before god has made something the power of the holy ghost just poured out for the very first time and the bible says that all those people that are gathered there many of us know the story most of us know the story they're gathered there and they're they're they're speaking in tongues and they're worshiping and they're praising god they come to peter and say man these these guys are drunk i've never seen anything like this before peter says no it's nine o'clock in the morning these people ain't drunk this is something else going on this is that which was spoken of of the prophet joel this is the holy ghost god it's making a new thing god it's doing something he's never done before god is sending the end time revival and harvest it's beginning right here right now they said oh my goodness well peter what what do we need to do to be a part of this new thing that god is doing and that's what we find in acts 2 and 38 peter says first you need to repent you need to be baptized after that and then you can receive the gift of the holy spirit you can receive the gift of the holy ghost and so here's what i want us to do the first step to you getting up is you getting down the first step to you getting up is you getting down on your knees and saying god i need you to forgive me god i need you to wash me i need you to cleanse me i need you to make me new so here's what we're getting ready to do all across this room i want us to make this one gigantic altar of repentance and if you've never received the gift of the holy ghost before tonight is your night god wants to fill you with the holy ghost is there anybody that can believe that with me so right now i want everybody to lift up your hands and i don't care if you've repented 50 000 times i want us all right now to begin to repent because this might be somebody's first time and i want you right now to ask for god to cleanse and wash you come on would you pray together with us god lord if there's any sin that i have in my life i pray right now that you would cleanse me and wash me god purify my mind purify my thoughts or remove anything from me that's not like you lord create in me a clean heart and renew within me a right spirit come on would you pray right now would you just make this make this a a time of personal prayer and repentance right now come on all across the room [Music] and if this is your first time and you've never repented i want you to begin to use your words i want you to just use your mouth don't don't just pray in your head but i want you to begin to use your voice and begin to speak out in repentance god i asked you to cleanse me and wash me that's beautiful come on just for a few more moments right now that's beautiful just for a few more moments [Music] hallelujah that's it come on there's there's just a few in this place that that right now they're just emptying themselves and i want us to not rush past this moment come on keep praying right now god cleanse us lord wash us renew us lord [Music] amen bible let's just know just talked about it repent baptized but when you repent you're then at a place to where god can fill you with this spirit because how many know that god is not going to feel a vessel that is that is unpure a vessel that that has not been cleansed and purified god is holy that word holy means completely separate from sin god is without sin and a holy god is not gonna come and indwell a vessel that is filled with sin but aren't you glad that when jesus died on the cross he died for our sins and the bible lets us know when we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins he separates our sins as far as the east is from the west i've come to tell every person that's repented god has removed that sin from your life and now your vessel is at a place of cleanse of purity and being cleansed to where god's spirit can fill you so here's what we're gonna do i'm going to pray a prayer in the name of jesus and then we're going to begin to sing and praise and worship god and if you've never received the baptism of the holy ghost can i tell you tonight is your night god's getting ready to do a new thing in your life you've never experienced it before but tonight if you've repented and you've lifted up your hands can i tell you if you lifted up your hands and and confess those things unto god can i tell you god wants to fill you with his spirit tonight god is getting ready to do a new thing can the church say amen to that so here's what we're going to do i want you to lift up your hands and we're going to pray together i'm going to pray a simple prayer of faith over us there's not anything special in me or about this prayer i'm praying i'm just going to pray in the name of jesus and the bible lets us know when we pray in the name of jesus something begins to happen come on i want you to lift up your hands right now if you've never received the holy spirit and you want to really quick i want you to listen to me i know i just told us to lift up our hands but i want to give a little more instruction if you've never received the baptism of the holy ghost i want you to listen to me very carefully you can't receive the baptism of the spirit of god without talking okay i've seen so many people they come up and they they're praying they're sincere they're praying in their head the bible lets us know that when people receive the holy ghost on the day of pentecost they began to speak with tongues as the spirit gave them the ability but you can't speak with tongues if you're not first speaking in english but when you begin to speak in english here's what's going to happen god is going to change that english to a heavenly language as you're speaking english god is going to begin to transition that language and you're going to speak in other tongues it's not something that anybody can teach you it's not something you can go to a class for nobody that's ever spoken in tongues has ever gone to a class and somebody taught them how can i tell you how they learn is because the spirit of god gave them the utterance or the ability to do so and i've come to tell you it is real let me share a quick story i like sharing this story because this will build somebody's faith somebody that feels maybe the holy ghost isn't for you let me build your faith for a little bit my dad is a is a mechanical engineer if you know anything about mechanical engineers they are very analytical logical people you just kind of have to have a certain type of brain to get through mechanical engineering it's very difficult a very rigorous course and so my my dad is a mechanical engineer and while he was in that course he started going to a pentecostal church for the first time and you can imagine what it was like the first time my dad walked into a pentecostal church i don't know if y'all realize this or not but we are pretty cray-cray sometimes my dad walked in and what in the world is going on here but you know what my mom was a little bit different than my dad she wasn't she's not so analytical you know she's just kind of she's just she just kind of has faith to believe that god can do great things and she's just got that child-like faith and so my mom goes up to the front she lifts up her hands she repents of her sins like we just did you know what happened god did a new thing in my mama she received the baptism of the holy ghost right then she began to speak with other tongues as a spirit gave her the ability i mean it was awesome and everybody was so happy brother dom they were so excited for my mom except for one person [Music] my dad looked at her girl what is wrong with you she said i just got the holy ghost he said you got what she said i i just got the holy ghost i just spoke with other tongues for the first time my dad said you're you're something what has happened to my wife something is going on he said you mean to tell me you went up there you just spoke in a language you never heard before she said yes i'm telling you ron it is real i just did it my dad said all right should i tell you what he said i want to speak to the pastor [Music] so they go back to the pastor's office you just got to know how my dad is that's just how he rolls my dad is about about this tall but he's like a general right i've never seen somebody so short so powerful so he's like like walson in the office right just commands a room when he comes into it just the way he is walks into the room and says brother children's my wife says that she just got the holy ghost what do you got to say about this brother childress turns to my dad and says listen ron i didn't say she got the holy ghost she said she got the why don't you ask her my dad turns back to my mom and says you mean to tell me you just spoke in a language you've never heard before she says yes i'm telling you wrong i'm not faking this thing it just happened to me my dad said okay see i tell y'all what he said if the holy ghost is real he said i'm coming back tonight and i better get it and he walked out the door [Music] but you know what my dad did and that service he had been sitting down dwelling in his doubt looking and observing looking at all the people saying man these people are crazy what happened to my wife but you know what he did between that first service and that second service he got off [Music] he got up out of his unbelief he got up out of the beliefs of the world that this type of thing is impossible that it can't happen and he got up and he started believing he said for this night god i'm gonna believe can i tell you my dad did not get the holy ghost like my mom he went up to the front he was worshiping he was praising god doing everything that he knew to do nothing happened he went back to his seat [Music] went back to his seat during the preaching the preacher was and you guys you guys will get a kick out of this cause y'all are from the south my northern folk they don't get this type of stuff because they're not you know they're like y'all are crazy but the preacher was preaching a message and the message that he was preaching was right at my dad and he was preaching a message called i know god can but will he and he had combined the words will and he to make willie and so he was preaching you got to get rid of willie you got to get rid of willie everybody in this room get rid of willie get rid of if you get rid of willie jesus will do something for you getting rid of willie get my dad's sitting there man uh okay get get rid of will get you know get rid of willie get rid of willie praise god he's saying amen saying amen and can i tell you the first time he says amen nothing happens second time few times go by saying amen preaching with the preacher doing what he knows to do nothing happens but there is one time he was seated and he literally got up to say amen just as he had done several other times throughout the course of the message but this time when he stood up to say amen the holy ghost hit him like a lightning bolt and forcefully he began to speak in other tongues as the spirit of god gave him the ability he took off out of that aisle he was spinning around in a tornado i mean he was speaking in tongues and shouted and worshipping god the church exploded i mean it was a small home missions north american missions church they were so excited because they knew what happened and finally my dad collapses at the front of that church brother mccool in a heap of exhaustion and when he collapsed brother shoulders the pastor was standing right in front of him my dad opened his eyes brother shoulders looked him dead in the eyes and said i told you it was real he said i told you if you get up if you make up your mind and put your faith in jesus i tell you it's real it's real it's real the holy ghost it is real so i want you to lift up your hands we're going to pray together right now and i'll come to tell somebody when we when we pray this prayer i want you to begin to praise and worship the name of jesus and if you need healing very real healing is going to come even now the holy ghost has fallen by the authority of the word of god and the power that is in the name of jesus i pray let every soul in this room that so desire to receive the baptism of the holy ghost as it fell on the day of pentecosta let it fall in this room i pray this right now in the name of jesus now lift up your voice and begin to
