have your Bibles and would stand with me again we welcome everyone in the house of the Lord give your Bibles and by you to the 11th chapter of the book of Song verse number 7 or excuse me verse number 4 the eleventh chapter of the Book of Psalms and verse number four have a very what I would consider a very simple message today but I must tell you it is a message that I felt like the Lord directed me to preach people complicate living for god I believe the enemies some I believe the enemy is even sometimes behind complicating living for God and I just want to read this verse and tell you my title and we'll go from there the Lord is in his holy temple the Lord's throne is in heaven his eyes behold his eyelids try the children of men the Lord's throne is in heaven would you repeat those words with me today the Lord's throne is a place called heaven a place called heaven father I love you this morning thank you Lord for the one filled with the Holy Ghost thank you God for multiple other things that you did God that we did not see today but Lord you nonetheless did the world father I ask you today that as a man of God called but you that you would anoint my lips of clay that I would help your people I would encourage your people both young and old today God that I would be a source of inspiration encouragement I'd be a teacher today we'll give you Lord Jesus if you'll anoint me I will give you praise honor and glory in Jesus name we pray amen you may be seated a place a place called heaven don't forget there is a place called heaven just as real as a matter of fact it is more real than this place that we're in today heaven heaven is more real than this place today because this place is temple and heaven is eternal we know if we have faith in the Word of God we know that the Lord has set up his throne in heaven his throne is in heaven the seat of authority God headquarters if you please that God has set up his throne in heaven God's throne is not in Washington Moscow or Hong Kong God's throne is in heaven Psalms 103 19 says the Lord have prepared his throne in the heavens and his kingdom Rula 'the over all under knowing to all governments of the world God is has been and always will be in control I believe you ought to have a hand clap of praise right now God always is in control no be shaken don't be shaken by what you see in here around you don't be shaken by Fox News CNN news and all the other news networks put together don't you be shaken the Bible says in Psalms 115 verse number 2 wherefore should the heathen say now notice I just mentioned networks and I have segue right into the heathen I'm glad you got that back quickly wherefore should the heathen say where is now their God o the heathen are always trying to prove to us there is no God by asking us to show us where I got it but our God is in the heaven he has done whatsoever he have please can I take a day I don't know where your gods have but I do know where my gods at my god has a throne and my God is in heaven and my God is ruling from that throne that is in Revelation chapter four verse number one you will read revelations two and three the book of Revelation chapter two and three and you read about the churches but the end of chapter three the beginning of chapter four the John the Revelator said after this I looked and behold a door was open in heaven the first voice which I heard was as he were of a trumpet talking with me which said come up hither symbolic teaching in the book of Revelation John said he saw a door and he heard a trumpet and the interpretation of the trumpet was come up hither verse two says and immediately I was in the spirit and behold a throne was set up in heaven and one sat on the throne now I want you to know brothers and sisters today that with every fiber of our mean we should long to be ready for that same trumpet that John her because God is preparing him Church and the bride and one day of which no man knows that trumpets going to sound and we're going to be caught up snatched raptured in the moment and in the twinkling of an eye just like John was John was caught up snatched up immediately by the trumpet on door in heaven and when he got to heaven the first thing John recognized was that there was a throne set up in heaven and one set on that throne brothers and sisters today I want you to know that I not only believed that my God has a throne in a place called heaven I not only believed that he rules and reigns from that throne in heaven nothing gets past God's throne nothing they do in Washington nothing that you in Moscow nothing they do in London nothing they do in the kingdom's around the world get by the throne of God not only do I believe that God rules and reigns and that I've never seen the righteous forsaken or a seed begging bread but I stand here today as confident as I believe that that I believe a trumpet is going to sound one day and I'm going to go to that place where that throne is how do you know because my Bible tells me so because God is no respecter of persons God has already taken several from this earth to his presence one only has to go to Genesis chapter 5 verses number 21 the genealogies and it says any not lived 60 and five years and begat methuselah now Methuselah is an interesting name because Methuselah same literally means when he dies it shall come when he dies it shall come men live under the dread of judgment man understood that men could not go on corrupting his way without divine judgment coming Enoch lived in a day that there was the dread and the dude that we can't keep living this way without God intervening with judgment so Enoch got his sign something happened to Enoch he lived 65 years nonchalant he lived 65 years doing what he would want but when he was 65 years old he fathered a child and when that child was born God spoke to him and said call his name Methuselah because God was saying when Methuselah dies the judgment is going to come this so moved the man Enoch that verse 21 says that he lived 65 years and begat Enoch in the begat Methuselah but verse 22 says and Enoch walked with God after he beth begat methuselah three hundred years and begat sons and daughters you see anytime we begin to believe that judgment is coming it is not something that we just think about every now and then Jesus is coming back again Church may it be the theme of the Christians life Jesus is coming back I want you to live happily ever after I want you to be blessed I want your children to stay off drugs I want your marriage to stay intact I want you to make enough money to pay all the bills at the end of the month but that's all can be a distraction for what good would it do should a man gain the whole and lose his soul Wow kasi prosper I want us to be ready for the rapture something happened something happened pastor Ericson something happened to Enoch he lived 65 years nonchalant but when Methuselah was born God spoke to him and said when he dies judgment shall come so the terminology in chap in verse number 23 changes and it says in all the days of Enoch were 365 years in all the days of Enoch excuse me verse 22 and Enoch walked with God after somebody after said again after and he not walk with God when after he begat methuselah after God told him when this child dies and God did not tell him when the child would die I am coming it so moved his life that 'inna began to walk with God brothers and sisters today it can only be judgment as the motivator for our walk with God for every step you take every breath you breathe every second that ticks off your clock you are one step closer one breath closer and one second closer to what we'll all stand before and that is the judgment of God you better understand the Methuselah needs to be birthed in this room today there needs to be a Methuselah birth in the souls of the Church of a living God that in a moment that he could come and he not walk with God after he begat methuselah three hundred years and begat sons and daughters and all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty-five years and Enoch walked with God and was not and he was not for God took him God took him that's exactly right God took him to that throne room that I preached about today in the book of Hebrews chapter 11 verse 5 faith could not be left out of this because in Hebrews chapter 11 verse 5 by faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death and was not found he was not found seems to me like they were looking for him but they couldn't find it just like they're going to look for the church but they're not going to be able to find the church there's coming a day when millions hopefully will be missing I don't know what CNN and Fox and the other networks will come up I don't know what lie that they'll listen to from the coffins of Hell and be able to sell the people of the world but I want you to know that one of these days by the grace of God somebody's going to be looking for me and somebody's going to be looking for you but they're not going to be able to find this why because God oh my god I mean literally today I don't know I don't ring attention to this but this has got gripped my soul so much that my hands are trembling today but I think what I tremble most of all about is the condition of the church you see not one time if I had to tell you to be seated not one time if I had had to stop my preaching and have you to be seated should I be preaching about morals and should I be preaching about the garbage and and all the things in the world and how they were it's a man for a woman and a woman for a man and how we ought to obey the commandments a man had to seek you a few times but it's something that we need to examine when the greatest thing that could be preached has not caused one person to necessarily stand and want to clap their hands because the enemy is the master of distraction and the master of deception I want to be in good health but I want to make it to heaven I want to have hell but I want to make it to heaven I want to be wealthy but I want to make it to heaven by faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death and was not found because God had translated him for before his translation he had this testimony that he pleased God God's not taking anybody that it doesn't please him you cannot live a life not pleasing to God and hope you're going to be ready for the rapture I'm sorry but I pray for someone very recently and evidently when I pray for them my prayer ever did me caused him to think that I thought they were lost of which I go on record I do think they're lost and I think they're lost because of their behavior you see that walks like a duck quacks like enough that yard that goes more than just people of moral sin you can't live like the devil and think you're gonna go to heaven so I pray this prayer I prayed this prayer and ever give me the prayer I pray cause the man to think that I thought he wasn't say so he you're not going to hurt his statements why would you go in a hospital room and pray that way because I just get one chance and we ought to get we ought to get off our little hobbyhorse about hurting feelings I'm telling you burning in hell is a lot worse than hurting some nice thing but this this is how messed up people can get evidently I prayed a prayer at the end of the prayer the person told me he said these words he said I'm saved I just don't live right and I thought how does seem can you be I'm saved I just know that right I'm telling you according to the scripture he took him because he pleased him what we need to be asking God today is not am I saved well I got baptized that's checklist oh I got the Holy Ghost that's checklist you'd ask yourself this morning am i pleasing to God the Lord's that I speak are they pleasing to God because before his translation he had this testimony that he pleased God but without faith it is impossible to please him for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him he not only took in it to heaven he took Moses to heaven the Bible says that Moses was buried by God in Deuteronomy 34 verses five and six it was God that buried Moses it was God that put him no man knows where Moses is cephalic arisen to this day it was God that buried Moses not only to God bury Moses got resurrected Moses how do you know this because the Book of Luke the Book of Luke tells us that when Jesus was praying on Mount Transfiguration the Bible says in Luke verse 9 verse 28 and it came to pass after eight days after after eight days and it came to pass and it came to pass about eight days after these sayings he took Peter John and James and went up into a mountain to pray as he prayed the fashion of his countenance was altered his raiment was white three and behold there talked with him two men which were Moses and Elias for Elijah so here we have not only God burying Moses in Deuteronomy thirty five five and six but we have God resurrected Moses because Moses shows up with Jesus on Mount Transfiguration but we not only have Moses showing up with God we have Elijah how did Elijah go out of this earth 2nd Kings chapter 2 and verse number 11 2nd Kings chapter 2 and verse number 11 state state to us speaking of the life speaking about the life of Elijah and it came to pass as they still went on and talked behold there appeared a chariot of fire and horses of fire and he parted them both speaking of Elijah and Elisha and it parted them both and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven brothers and sisters today I have plainly scripturally shows you God rules in heaven heaven is his throne heaven is where he rules everything that we see but not only that i plainly showed you that God took Enoch Moses and Elijah into that place called heaven but my joy is to take you to John chapter 14 and verse number 1 where Jesus said let not your heart be troubled he believed in God believe also in me in my father's house are many mansions if it were not so I would have told you I go to prepare a place for you and if I go and prepare a place for you I will come again and receive you unto myself that where I am there may you be also I Got News for you I'm standing here today I'm living my life I got good clothes on I've got a good automobile I've got a good home I've got a good family but I have not reached my goal I'm waiting for that day that he's going to come I ever seen me I'm 59 years old I'm just a few years older than Laurie Hawkins just a few years I'm several years younger than brother Carl Perry but I want you to know should the raps are not time should I go through and we all can testify this time makes a change in our bodies I used to have to shave twice a day on Sunday my hair was black and my beard was black it was black and if I didn't got shaved on Sunday morning if I tried to get by shaving without shaving on Sunday nights you can see a nice little outline right here look like I stand ready to get my mug shot taken I used to have to shave twice a day to keep that keep that beard it was black had to keep it down see time showed me that as I sitting there in that barbershop and that beautiful black hair that used to fall down on that white apron he'd put on me time begin to pepper it with salt and pepper and now there's more salt better than his pepper falling right time exchange owns this our bodies begin to wear out I've got glasses on today I'm not always brother Tyler I've not always needed these glasses brother Tyler I've not always needed brother Tyler I've not always needed glasses today but but now I need I need these glasses things and your bodies your joints and all of a sudden you begin to see as time wears on time has taken care of the body but body's not functioning and then then there's even some of us here under the sound of my voice that the doctors even put a timer and don't get mad at the doctor the doctors even put a time frame and and and this may take you in two or three years and you begin to you begin to think about well five years from now and the older you get the older you get well and in family my dad meant to say this a while ago it's hard to believe 34 years ago yesterday me and sister carpenter left 3:14 depot circle drive and Eagleton village since the carpenter was having labor pains drove over to Fort Sanders Hospital on a Saturday 34 years ago yesterday Fallon stand-up Fallon was born 34 years ago happy birthday baby girl we're 34 years ago 34 years we like that the older you get the younger hit when you're young I can't wait to get six thing to get my driver's lesson and it seemed like the 60 would never get here but then it was 18 and 21 and and it seemed I don't know when that I don't want to win the skills killed but it's like man we're celebrating birthday after birthday and the wild scissor it's gonna be 16 this year and I fussed and say I'm not gonna be 60 next year if the 8th next year she says you're already 59 for God's sake but sometimes high just has its way but cannot tell you there may be some of you come in on a locker today there may be some of you blessed believers come in on a came today there may be some of you blessed believers that you know that you have two or three years you only have about 2 or 3 years to live but I've come to tell you something out of the Word of God this morning I've come to tell you 2nd Corinthians chapter 5 and verse number 1 for we know that if our earthly house of this Tabernacle speaking of the body were dissolved we have a building of God house not made with hands eternal in the heavens for in this we groan earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven if so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked for we that are in this tabernacle do groan being burdened not for that we would be unclothed but clothed upon that mortality might be swallowed up alive now he that brought us for the self same thing is God who have also given unto us the earnest of the spirit therefore we are always confident knowing that while we're at home in the body we are absent from the Lord we walk by faith and not by sight we are confident we are confident I say willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord wherefore labor that you may be present or absent we may be accepted Oh somebody bring me better case most Walker up here somebody running me Jesus dying he never refers to Jesus asleep Jesus died but believers only sleep that is if we sleep in Jesus behold I show you a mystery we shall not all sleep but we shall all be changed in a moment in the twinkling of an eye at the last Trump come on John for the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall be raised incorruptible and we shall be changed for this corruptible must put on incorruption and this mortal must put on immortality so when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption and this mortal shall have put on immortality then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written death is swallowed up in victory o death where is your sting o grave where is your victory o there is a place called heaven and if that hasn't done something that to your spiritual needle yet 1st Thessalonians 4:13 but I would not think you should that I would not have you to be ignorant brethren concerning them which are asleep that you sorrow not even as others which have no hope for if we believe that Jesus died and rose again even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him for this we say unto you by the traditions of the Pentecostal church for this we say unto you by the traditions of the first century but this we say unto you by the word of the Lord that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep for the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout and with the voice of the Archangel and with the Trump of God and the dead in Christ shall rise first then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the lord in the air and so she we ever and so shall we ever and so shall we ever be can I preach a few more moments first Peter chapter 1 verse number 3 blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ which according to his abundant mercy has begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead to an inheritance to an inheritance to an inheritance incorruptible undefiled that fadeth not away reserved where's it reserved at huh where's it reserved at something is reserved in heaven for me it's a reserve now I'm gonna tell you something when you state as many motel rooms and hotel I'm sorry my kids say dad don't say Motel hotel rooms I'm sorry you know the difference for in a hotel or motel a motel you motor up to in the hotel you walk into I've stayed enough hotels and motels the one thing I know it's comforting to walk up to that desk at 3:30 in the morning and say I've got rid of you reservations I don't care if it says on the side no vacancy I've already made my reservation and I taste something more than that and sometimes you walk in there and have your name and that's Oh mr. ghertner we're sorry we don't have you but I've got what's called a confirmation number you know what confirmations transform confirmed so I got some confirmation about this I not only have the plan of salvation checked down in my life because a pilot before he takes off to the air has a check list and my little checklist is more than just being born of water in the spirit I got a checklist on my please in God am i walking right am i doing right am i praying am i seeking god am i looking forward to his kingdom when i can keep that checklist up you see there's one thing about heaven and I close and I want our musicians to come a place called heaven what's here it's just a moment as the musicians are coming one thing that was said heaven apart from all other places is what's not there we've often talked about what is there why don't we talk about for a moment what's not there because to me what's not there is just as powerful and maybe even more powerful than the street that's made of gold because John the Revelator said in John and in Revelation chapter 21 verse 1 and I saw a new heaven and a new earth now don't don't get that confused that heaven is our atmosphere I saw a new heaven and a new earth for the first heaven and the first Earth were passed away and there was no more sea and I John saw the holy city New Jerusalem coming down from God out of heaven prepared as a bride adorned for her husband and I heard a great voice out of heaven saying behold the tabernacle of God is with men and he will dwell with them and they shall be his people and God himself shall be with them and be their God and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes there shall be no more death neither sorrow nor crying neither shall there be any more pain for the former things are passed away he that set up on the throne said behold I make all things new and he said unto me write well these were are true and faithful heaven that throne room of my god that place that I've never been before by the help of God will be a reality to me one day heaven heaven a place where no death no sorrow no crying no more pain I speak today to people in this room time has now got your body to where you don't know when's the last time you live without pain but dear believer I'm telling you today that it's heaven our goal it's a place of no more pain a place with which God will wipe away all tears a place to where he makes the promise I make all things John went on down a few verses in verse 22 and 23 I saw no temple there for the Lord God Almighty and the lamb are the temple of it John said I looked around for a house to go worship you he said I couldn't find a house there's no house there there's no temple there he said when I got the explanation for the Lord God Almighty and the lamb please notice the Lord God and the Almighty is one because if the Lord God Almighty and the lamb were two separate ones the verse ought to say the Lord God Almighty and the lamb are the temples plural just like it says there's one throne in heaven and it's the throne of God in the lamb the city had no need of life or the city had no need of son neither of the moon to shine upon it for the glory of God did lighten it and the lamb is the light thereof he goes on if you'd stand with me goes on to revelation 22 and verse 1 Oh help me sweet Jesus Oh God it's your word that I preached today Oh help me sweet Jesus oh thank you Lord don't you feel the presence of the Lord right now my god my god hallelujah the last chapter in the book and he showed me a pure river of water of life clear as crystal proceeding out of the throne of God and of the lamb in the midst of the street of it and on either side of the river was there the Tree of Life which bare twelve manner of fruits yielded her fruit every month and the leaves of the tree was for the healing of the nation and there shall be no more curse but the throne of God and the lamb shall be in it and his servants shall serve Him and they shall see his face and his name shall be in their forehead no more curse no Sun no temple no life no death no tears no sorrow and hallelujah to the lamb no more curse I'll play brother and in my heart sometimes as a pastor do you know that I want to pain stricken saint of God to be encouraged as much as I want that new convert to get something from God so I wonder today and I'll start around the altars today a place called heaven what a day that will be when my jesus i shall see when I look up on his face the one who saved me by His grace oh what a day that will be what a day that will be what a day that will be what a day come on child of God with pain racking through your body you may not be able to lift your hands for arthritis you may not be able to stand very long because of your weakening of your party but could we just rejoice in the fact that there is a place called heaven come on all others who want to join us in the altar what a day that will be what a what a day that will be what a day it would be would it a come a little bit more sincere with no heart age will come about the filled sky there'll be no more tears to tear my what a treasure you stay Oh what a day people be noble curd and they'll be Oh we'll be here come on if you're looking forward to the glorious day when I just love him right now come on as we respond to the Word of God was preached but we want to take this word with us as we leave this house Lord as we leave these four walls we want to bring this into the community and let people know there is a place that God wants them to go to and there's only one place they can go there from and that's the church because he's coming back after his church gotta pray with three people here tonight blow it God to find out about so word to hear your word though I've got to be changed by your word Lord in response to your work there's gonna be miracles signs and walk in this place no we're gonna go to a greater place than this look up but until we get there on this road to glory but we're gonna have a time and we're gonna love one another you're dismissed in Jesus name well [
