of ammon and with them other beside the ammonites came against jehoshaphat to battle then there came some that told jehoshaphat saying there cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea on this side syria and behold they be in hays days on tamar which is in judah and jehoshaphat fear would you say those three words with me today and jehoshaphat feared and set himself to seek the lord and proclaimed a fast throughout all judah for a few moments today i want to preach on this subject when the fear comes when the fear comes i got a prayer request today i've got a prayer request to pray for brother dave glasco he is to have a biopsy on his hip and the doctors have some concern and sister velasco brought me a prayer request this morning let's pray let's pray for him today that god that god would touch him yeah other knees by the uplifting of the hands of the up looping of the hands our great god of heaven we come before you this morning we thank you lord for the privilege and the opportunity to come into your presence today to sing the songs of zion god i pray today for brother dave glasgow i ask you lord let us receive a good report let us receive a good report from him today father father i ask you today to help me lord to preach faith into this room help me lord as our minds god have been upon this virus this weekend we have been in times of great uncertainty things that we have never seen before lord we return our minds back to your word this morning help me lord to preach faith into the hearts of your people in jesus wonderful name i pray amen and amen and according to the fervency of the clapping of your hands would you plop your hands today as if you were receiving what you wanted to see from god today i just feel the lord you may be seated when the fear comes or after after the fear comes i would like for you to repeat my title with me today it's four words after the fear comes would you would you repeat it with me today after the theater after the fear bible talks about a man by the name of jehoshaphat he's ruling in his kingdom he had a great revival he had had a great restructuring he had a great time of cleansing setting things in order and after he had got his house set in order the nation of israel said in order the bible said in after this and after this these moabites ammonites a group of people that didn't even bear a name became a confederacy against him they came against jehoshaphat and against israel with one goal in mind drive them out of the promised land drive them out disinherit then take their houses take their lands take their wells take their children take their wives drive them out of the promised land it was a tremendous multitude that came against jehoshaphat and the bible said when they came and shared with jehoshaphat the danger that was all the way the danger the marching of these three mighty nations moabites the ammonites those from mount sierra a multitude of soldiers marching with the intent to drive israel from their promised land the bible said when they came and shared that with jehoshaphat verse three simply starts out by saying and jehoshaphat feared too many times we believe that fear is something that if we ever have were not right with god that's far from the truth god placed within our emotions a fear factor fear is meant to drive us to the one in whose presence praise god there is no fear it is not god's will for us to worry and fred notice i didn't say it's not god's will for us to fear god gave us that healthy emotion called fear and again to drive us to the one in whose presence there is no fear bible said in joseph that fear doesn't mean he's back slidden doesn't mean he's cold on god means he's normal means he's absolutely normal just like us things happening around us amen we've never witnessed before i mean i'm having i'm having people way older than me saying pastor i've never seen anything i've never seen anything like this in my life it's not sin for us to have a note of fear but it's what we do next after the fear comes because the bible says in psalms 56 verse number three look at this verse psalms 56 verse number three what time i am afraid what time i am afraid let's let's read it all together let's read it as a congregation i believe god i want to speak some faith into this house today i know that we are layered with a blanket of gloom and doom all week long with uncertainty but i've come to the house of our god this morning and i'm going to preach some faith into our hearts before we leave here in just a few moments let's all read it together out loud what time i am afraid i will trust in thee in god i will praise his work keep on reading now in god i will praise his word in god have i put my trust i will not fear what flesh can do unto me o friend i'm preaching today on when the fear comes it's nothing that's we're not backslidden when i called on god because we've got a note of fear that has rung within our heart the last week but now on a sunday morning it's what i'm going to do with the fear that's going to be a game-changer what i'm going to do with this fear david said what time that i fear i will trust in thee jehoshaphat feared and set himself to seek the lord and proclaimed a fast throughout all judah you see after the fear comes i've got to get set after the fear comes i have to plant my feet upon the faith of god in his word after the fear comes not a sin that i fear not a sin that i've had fear because of the moabites ammonites and mount seir not if not a sin that i'm listening to the news and i'm saying mighty god help us what's going on it's not a sin that we feel that way but now after the fear let's take our two feet of faith and let's plant them in the solid ground of the almighty god he said himself to the lord he sets himself to seek the lord and proclaimed a fast throughout all judah to seek the lord to seek god's face to seek god to seek his face there's a lot of people seeking answers i've come to tell you today we'll never get the answer until we see the one who has the answer we've got to seek after the one that has the answer hosea chapter 10 and verse number 12 says this so to yourselves in righteousness reap in mercy break up your fallow ground for it is time to see the lord till he come and reign righteousness upon you can i tell you that this world is not our permanent residence can i tell you if what's shaking us today is because we get too comfortable down here on this earth and when things begin to threaten our comfort level we begin to get uneasy with things when grocery stores are becoming empty on the shelves when doctors are not answering it and when lines are too long and they're just simply saying we don't have this and we don't have that it's not a time to go into deep despair church first epistatic today your pastors come to tell you it's time to seek the lord's it's time to seek the lord nothing's too hard for the lord i was young and now i'm old and i've never seen the righteous forsaken or his seed begging for bread what are you gonna do after the fear comes i'll tell you what i'm gonna do i'm gonna plant my feet and i'm going to seek after the lord well give him some praise in the house today i'm going to seek after the lord i want to recommend to the church i want to wreck them into the church that this following week there'll be some days that you push back a plate i want to recommend to the church pastors going to be doing it that there be some days this week that we scheduled there'll be no lunch today there'll be no dinner today there'll be no breakfast today because we've got to seek the lord and we got a fast and you know my heart goes out today my heart goes out today i'm not necessarily fasting because of what's going on in our church but i'm fasting for the philippines where the people have much much less than what we have here today i'm fasting because there is a world that is in turmoil right now world leaders one after another coming down with this and we have never at least in my fifty nine and a half years on this earth never witnessed such that is spreading across but may we seek the natural that's why we believe in the old testament what god did for insulin in the natural where god does for us in the spiritual still when we read about natural israel we can flip over and say well we don't live in the middle east but it's talking about a spiritual land listen to deuteronomy 4:29 but if from finis thou shalt see the lord thy god thou shalt find him if thou seek him we have all done heart and with all thy soul when thou art in tribulation i don't know about you but kind of relates to that today right when thou art in tribulation and all these things are come upon thee even in the latter days if thou turn to the lord thy god and shalt be obedient to his voice for the lord thy god is a merciful god he will not forsake thee nor it neither destroy thee nor forget nor forgive the covenant my father's which he sware unto things in other words he's saying if you will seek me in the tribulation i'm going to keep my word i'm going to be with you psalms 22 verse number one thank god for the house of god thank god for the house of god psalms 23 and 22 verse 1 i was glad again i want to read it together with you i was glad when they verse 2 our feet shall stand within thy gates o jerusalem a friend can i tell you i'm glad that i've got a place today i'm glad that i've got the house of god today i'm glad that i've got a place that i can come and that i can stand in are not two sparrows sold for a farthing and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your father but the very hairs of your head are all numbered fear ye not therefore ye are of more value than sparrows whosoever therefore shall confess me before men him will i confess also before my father which is in heaven i've come today to try to preach faith too hard as i can that in this hour without an awareness of what was going on around you there was a god that upon you when you've got up this morning there was a god that had his eye upon you as you go about the day there is a god that birds of all rejoice rejoice church today the eye of god not our god go back to verse 7 i thought not our god who did drive out inhabitants of this land before thy people israel and gave us near to the seat of abraham thy friend forever and they dwell therein and have built be a sanctuary therein for thy name saying so we built you this house god and we built it for your name saying if when evil cometh if when evil coming upon us as the sword judgment pestilence paestum shelter or pestilence means their diseases diseases diseases if when pestilence family we stand before this house and in thy this main means to have a breakdown you need to fall apart you need to have a breakdown just you're going to fall apart you begin to tremble you begin to shake give me give us a whole time but babies got a fever oh lord i've got a little sniffles oh god i'm telling you it's at that time if we don't take our fear mix it with faith that become afraid and we'll have a breakdown but god said god said somebody said god said god said be not afraid nor be dismayed by reason of this great multitude are my reason of koban nineteen for the battle is not yours but gods oh did you hear what he said did give took faith in god to obey he said i know you're one god believers you're established as israel but if you want a prosper you got to learn how to believe the prophets if you want to prosper you got to learn how to believe that prophet that steps out and says wash seven times you got to believe the prophet that comes out and says cut down the tree and throw it in the water and now he says you want a prophet you want to prosper verse 21 and when he had consulted with the people he appointed singers unto the lord that should praise the beauty of holiness and they went forth they went out altogether why we just we don't even need i'm not even going to come to church amma will you just go ahead you can do that you don't come to church when there's not a virus i understand that oh help seir everyone helped destroy another here it is these three armies come together they're unified but when they come up over the hill they're ready for israel to have bow and arrows and throwing rocks and they see a much israelites out there praise the lord gives holiness into a forever praise the lord praise them what are they doing that singer and so the moabites god with the ammonites and they said hey we thought we're gonna have to have the people of mount seir to help us with these israelites but it's obvious we don't need them they're a bunch of religious fanatics a tyson said but if we go into battle said we're gonna have to cut it three ways said let's go ahead and knock off the mount seir tribe and when we knock them off it's 50/50 brother and so the moabites and ammonites turned against the mount seir and they started fighting you see the picture hell starts to fight itself hell is going to implode from within israel's praise of god and magnified of god and the end of the
