God is here this morning God is going to do Great and Mighty things today in this house God's going to use the word today if I could while you're looking for Isaiah chapter 6 and verse number excuse me Isaiah chapter 9 and verse number six and verse number 7 Isaiah 9 and 6 and seven let me give you a little heads up on gift opening etiquette all right a little heads up on gift opening etiquette and that is when you're opening a gift that someone gives you in their presence act excited be thankful well what if I'm not repent later but etiquette is when you open that gift up it's a gift Show Thanksgiving folks salvation is the greatest gift we could ever open can we show The Gift Giver some thanks this morning wow Jesus thank you it's a gift that keeps on giving thank you Lord thank you God thank you God oh yes thank you Lord thank you Father isaah chapter 9 verse number six very familiar For unto us a child is born unto us a son is given and the government shall be upon his shoulder and his name Shall be Called wonderful counselor the Mighty God the Everlasting father the Prince of Peace of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end upon the throne of David and upon his kingdom to order it and to establish it with judgment and with Justice from henceforth even forever the Zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this for a few moments today I want to preach on this subject and his name shall be called and his name shall be called Jesus again Lord I open this word which is a gift from you to us thank you for your word today God thank you for all that your word is going to do in our lives today Lord I believe that your spirit and your word is going to penetrate the heart and mind of men today and Lord that you will fulfill that thirst that hunger that they have inside of them Lord I'll give you all the praise and all the glory and all the honor in Jesus name we all pray and if you'd be so good to give him a hand clap of Praise today Hallelujah isn't the Lord good today isn't the Lord good today may be seated and his name shall be called you know the purpose and value of a name purpose and value of a name I found some some interesting things that in the state of Arkansas and New Mexico it is illegal to name your child baby girl or baby boy it's illegal I don't I don't know who' ever thought about that no slam toward Arkansas now but I don't know who' ever thought about that or New Mexico it is illegal it is illegal in Mexico to name your child male or female it's also I'm picking on Arkansas today but it's also illegal in Arkansas to name your baby test test or void so also in Ohio let's get some balance here a judge and Ohio said no to a naming of a child and they were wanting to name the child Santa Claus Tennessee see you thought I was just going to pick on Arkansas in Ohio today course Tennessee and Ohio and we're getting ready for that Victory here next week in Tennessee all the people from Ohio that operate cameras and sound they just messed with it real good they just state of Tennessee a judge tried but he was unsuccessful they tried they they wanted to name a child Messiah and the judge was unsuccessful but the child was was named Messiah you know there's some unusual last names sometimes last names kind of depict where you've come from and maybe what a trade was our last name is Carpenter and I just imagine somewhere somewhere down past that it was evidently someone in our family that was a good Carpenter I'm talking about good as far as working with wood and what have you um some unusual names um this is is close to home our district superintendent his last name is Miracle his last name is Miracle when I first met him many years ago I learned his name his first name is aie aie and as I preached for him years ago his name is AI miracle and when I was asked what is that the new pastor's name I put it like this every man ought to have a miracle amen last name relish bird whistle Tumblr what a name Tumblr but you know today I have come to talk about a name that is above every name the Bible says in Proverbs 22 And1 I want you to see the value of a name Proverbs 2 2 and one says a good name and of course now now this was spoken I want you to hear this now this proverb was spoken yes by the inspiration of God but it was also spoke spoken by a man who was the wisest man to ever live besides the God man Jesus Christ Solomon was the wisest man to ever live he says in Proverbs 22 And1 now let me balance this tell you um they tell me that if you would ever be lucky enough to have a meeting if you were an investor if you could get a meeting with Warren Buffett it would blow your mind you could get an hour with Warren Buffett find out all there is about investing but now this is the wisest man that ever lived besides the God man and he says in Proverbs 22 And1 a good name is rather to be chosen than great riches now listen to that he said if you could choose besides being unbelievably wealthy and having a good name you should choose the good name should choose the good name now when you think about choosing the good name a good name can help you become wealthy but wealth will never give you a good name also in Ecclesiastes chapter 7 verse number one he says a good name is better than precious ointment a good name is better than precious ointment and the day of death than the day of one's birth now how can a good name be better than ointment because over time ointment loses its ability its smell its effect but a good name will live on and on long after you and I have departed from this world a good name will live will live on and on now back to my text today Isaiah chapter 9 tells about the Battle if we read the entire chapter we would read about a battle that God had with sin and he comes to the end and he's got this battle with sin because he's got to judge sin and he's got this battle going on with sin but in Isaiah chapter n he breaks the Yoke he destroys sin and then it it tells about that the armor is causing the noise of confusion and then it goes into a verse it talks about and they roll their bloody clothes up and burn them in the fire for fuel and when you you understand what that means is after a soldier won a victory on a battlefield he would take off his old bloody sweaty torn garments and would put on the Victor's robe but then they would take the bloody clothes and they would roll them up and they would burn them in Fire and it was a time of Celebration it was a time of joy and I want you to know today that you're in a house with a bunch of people that through the blood of the lamb and the name of Jesus we now wear a conqueror's crown and we now wear a victory robe and we've taken that old robe of sin and we've burned it in the fire and we're celebrating our freedom this morning here at First Apostolic Church what a wonderful thing and the prophet said and his name Shall be Called wonderful now that doesn't mean that his name is wonderful it's that his name that his name would be called wonderful the word wonderful is simply a miracle that's what it means the the word Wonder here means means a miracle a miracle is a simple definition of God performing something that only he can perform you see it's not a miracle if I can fix it it's not a miracle if I can do it it's not a miracle if I can bring it to pass but when you have come and can I get a witness this morning when you have come against circumstances and situations that there's no way human ly possible for it to happen that's when we turn to a god whose name is wonderful he is a miracle working God put not your trust in man alone because when man doesn't have the answer when man doesn't have the solution we serve a God today whose name is called wonderful he is a miracle working God as a matter of fact Jesus is is not only able to perform miracles on his human side he is a miracle Luke 1:34 then said Mary unto the angel how shall this be seeing I know not a man the angel answered and said unto her the Holy Ghost shall come upon thee the power of the highest shall overshadow of thee therefore also that Holy thing which shall be born of the shall be called The Son of God the angel appeared to Mary and said you're going to bring forth a son you're going to bring forth a son the son of the most highest Mary gives one comment how can this be seeing that I know not a man or I'm not in a relationship with a man not I've not I've not had a relationship with a man and this is where the miracle comes in Jesus is not only a miracle performer as God but as a man he is a miracle not the miracle birth we talk about the miracle birth of Christ it was not a miracle birth it was brothers and sisters today a miracle conception was a miracle conception there's two men one was the first man Adam and God made him from the dust of the ground and the second man that God made is the Lord from glory and he made him by overshadowing a virgin girl and because God overshadowed flesh we have the conception and what was born from Mary was unlike any person that had ever been born it was the son flesh of God I'm reminded of a little article that I read about a mother the article was in reference to gullible parents all right and a mother took her 16-year-old daughter to the doctor who had tested that she was pregnant and the mother stood in that office with that doctor and said I am telling you this is my daughter she is pregnant she is telling me she's never been with a man she has never lied to me I've always believed her I've always trusted in her and she went on and on remember the article is about gullible parents about that time the doctor got up and opened the blinds on his window and began to look down the street she saidwhat in the world are you looking for or looking at he said the last time this happened three wise men came riding in on camels and I'm waiting for them to come you glad that Jesus Christ is a miracle Not only was he a miracle he performed Miracles he turned water into wine that's a miracle think of everything that it took for him to turn water into wine he bypassed the process now sometimes God puts us through a process to get to the miracle but that's not always God is able to bypass the process and take H2O and turn it into wine because he is and I I I certainly hope by the end of this sermon today you have faith in that name that you'll call out on that name and you'll believe in that name because his name Shall be Called wonderful his name Shall be Called wonderful but it doesn't stop there it says his name Shall be Called wonderful counselor wonderful counselor Isaiah 9:6 wonderful counselor this word counselor here means a guide it means a guide this word counselor here means an advisor it means one that gives you one that gives you wisdom one that helps you one that one that gives you wisdom when when you don't know what to do when you don't know what to do and let's let's give us all a new flash today let's give us all a news flash today none of us are the god of the universe none of us possess all the answers that we need within our minds do do do you understand today that even in the Bible throughout the Bible some of the most powerful men had advisors in their life some of the most powerful men brother clayon had counselors in their life they had people that when they needed to make decisions when they needed to have wisdom they called certain counselors up some had good counselors and some had not so good counselors as a matter of fact an entire Kingdom the 12 tribes of Israel split split because Solomon's son didn't listen to the right counsel didn't listen to the right counsel as a matter of fact counselors counselors were so held and revered and so full of Pride many of them that they were a lot like maybe I could use the word attorneys today that are the best in town and when the they're the best in town normally you pay the best price right they're high dollar they are high dollar attorneys and there was a counselor in David's life there was a counselor by the name of a hippel and uh when a hippel turned and went with absolum uh God prayed this prayer God prayed this prayer he said God turn the counsel of a hippel into foolish David knew the power of a hypothal counsel and had absil him taken a hypo's counsel we may not have the story of David but God touched Absalom and he didn't take the counsel of hippel hippel said go after David immediately he he's tired he's he's worn out he's hiding go after him immediately you'll take him and then there was another counselor that said no don't do that said give it a few days give it give it give it give it give it a few days and he listened to the other counsel but when a hippel found out that absum didn't listen to his counsel this is how prideful they were he went home and hung himself he went home and took his life well I'm glad today that his name Shall be Called wonderful so brother car I don't know if I need a miracle or not I just need some counsel in my life I I just need some advice in my life I I just don't believe I'm the person that I need to be I don't believe that that I I'm living up to my full attent potential amen and so he is called the wonderful counselor guide or advisor you you can't get better advice from this you you you can't get listen up you can't get any better advice than Matthew chapter 5 verse number two and he opened his mouth and taught them saying blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain Mercy blessed blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God blessed are The Peacemaker for they shall be called the children of God blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven blessed are ye when men shall revile you and persecute you and say all manner of evil against you falsely for my sake rejoice and be exceeding glad for great is your reward in heaven so persecuted they the prophets which were before you can I tell you when you're needing counsel will you please go back and read what I just read and begin to apply it that's the best way that you can live your life and that's the best counsel let's listen to The Counselor again in Matthew chapter 7 verse number one listen to The Counselor judge not that you be not judged let me let me tweak this just a little bit to help us understand because a lot of times when we preach the word of God you'll have somebody say you're not supposed to be judging me and that's not what this means it's talking about a person who has a standard of a very harsh judgment I mean they're the only ones living right they're the only ones doing right Heaven's Sake if they die God's in trouble on planet Earth and they're very harsh in their judgment judge not that you be not judged listen to him in verse two for for with what judgment you judge or what standard you judge you shall be judged and with what measure you meet it shall be measured to you again how you give judgment come on now well I just I just not being treated right can we back up the play can we can can we do you know this is big this is an instant replay all right can we back up the play for a moment if you feel like you're not being treated right by people can you back up the plue and make sure you're treating people right oh wish you get a little bit noisy in this house today for with what judgment you judge you shall be judged and with what measure you meet it shall be measured to you again look at verse three and why beholdest thou the moat the toothpick the sawdust that is in thy brother's eye but consider not the beam the log the two before the four before that is in thine own eye or how wil thou say to thy brother let me pull out the moat the sawdust the toothpick that is in th own eye and behold thou Hast a beam a four before a log in thine own eye thou hypocrite First cast out the beam out of thine own eye and then shalt thou See Clearly to cast out the M out of thy brother's eye now look look at that today that's great for people that want to judge harshly because you've got a log in your eye that you can't see I don't want you operating on me if you got a big tree branch sticking out of the side of your head he said go home and this his name Shall be Called wonderful man this is the greatest advice I could give you before you try to straighten out your brother make sure you're straightened out matter of fact if you'll be honest with yourself and everybody here want come on now everybody here today wants Mercy everybody here today wants Mercy when it comes to us oh give us Mercy when it comes to our children oh give us Mercy but that also turns around and we got to give somebody else I'm talking about wonderful counselor today let me give you some more he he he doesn't stop there look at verse number six of Matthew 7 give not that which is holy unto the dogs neither cast ye your Pearls Before Swine lest they trample them under their feet and turn again and rent you pigs and dogs were considered uncleaned animals they were considered unclean pigs and dogs were considered unclean animals all throughout the Bible Proverbs going back to the wise man Solomon Proverbs 11:22 say says as a jewel of gold in a swine's snout as a jewel of gold in a pig's nose so is a fair woman without discre without discretion he said you take a beautiful woman that doesn't have discretion she got the beauty but she doesn't realize she has the beauty said it's like putting a golden piercing in the snout of a pig you see the pig but all you can do is see the gold that is in he has no one the the pig brother Hammond the pig has no value of the gold that that that pig doesn't have any value of the gold not only not only that Proverbs 26 and10 says the great God that formed all things both rewardeth listen to this the great God that forth all things both rewardeth the fool and the transgressors now what's the difference between a transgressor and a fool a transgressor knows that he's transgressing a fool doesn't know a fool doesn't know he's never been enlightened he's never been told he's just foolish in the way that he does but can I tell you there is a reward from God not a good one one there is a reward from God for both the fool and the transgressor but verse 11 is really where I want as a dog now now I had a sentence I needed to read before this well Carpenter how can I know it's a dog in my life because we're talking about a person all right don't give that which is holy unto a dog and don't cast your Pearl before the swine they'll they'll trample well well how can I know it's a dog in my how can I know that this person has a dog spirit in their life verse 11 as a dog returneth to his vomit I'm sorry as a dog returneth to his vomit so a fool returned to his folly seest thou a man wise in his own conceit there is more hope of a fool than of him now here's what that is I'm sorry for the graphic I hope you had good breakfast I hope you hold it down today but there isn't anything more disgusting and you want to turn your head than to watch a sick dog vomit have something in him that makes him sick and he vomits it out and then watch that same I know watch that same dog take it right back up into its body but that is the picture of a person who has repented of their sin and they have got sick of the life that they're living they have got sick of the way that they were living and they've got an altar they've got a time they've got a place that they regurgitated all of that sin and all of that lifestyle out of them they got they got all of that Callaway you're not sick are you buddy you going okay he's family so I can pick on him as he's going out today and he regurgitates all that lifestyle I'm glad today pardon for the analogy but I'm glad today that sin made me sick the way that I was living as a 16-year-old boy made me sick it wasn't the things of the world that I wanted anymore when I got fell under the Gospel of Jesus Christ I got sick of the way I was living I got sick of the way I was acting I got sick of my gloomy forecast in my life and thank God I went to an altar and I regurgitated that all out upon the Altar and I gave it all I gave it all to God but what good would it do to regurgitate it all back and then just years later go back and take it back in that is a dog my friend and when you understand that somebody has been delivered and somebody has regurgitated their sinful life out and they years later go back and they lap it back up why are you going to cast what is Hope oh thank you counselor today thank you counselor for my life today one wonderful counselor he said that dog don't give that which is holy to the dog cast not your Pearl Cast not your Pearl before the swine look at verse 12 again in verse 20 chapter 26 of Proverbs seest thou man wise in his own conceit there's more hope of a fool than of him can I tell you something there's hope for a person that's looking but there's very little hope for a person that's deceived oh I've got it together I don't need the gospel I don't need church I don't need the Bible I got it all together you need to turn and find somebody that's saying I'm searching for something wise man the counselor his name Shall be Called say it with me wonderful his name Shall be Called how many are today or thank f for the counselor in your life let me thankful I'm I'm thankful today for that counselor doesn't always tell me what I want to hear but he's never told me anything that's led me wrong his name shall be called the wonderful counselor the next thing his name will be called The Mighty God the Mighty God what does it mean that he is the Mighty God that means he is well able to perform what he has promised I said he is well able to perform what he has promised he is the Mighty God he is able he's never made one promise that he's not been able to fulfill he is not like our president that's got to get the approval of both branches of government you got to get the approval of this house in that house there's a lot of promises made during election time that are never fulfilled because the promises hinge on somebody else but when God made us a promise this is why we ought to serve him today it all just makes sense for us to serve him today because when our God makes us a promise he is the Mighty God he is able to fulfill that promise brother Carpenter why do you pray for healing why'd you pray for healing for that little infant JoJo because he's the Mighty God and he's able to heal that brain bleed today but if it's in his will not to heal that brain bleed today and that little baby goes on to meet the Lord he's also able to give us comfort and peace and walk with us during this time why because he is the Mighty God and His Name Shall be Called don't you ever doubt don't you ever doubt that he is the Mighty God or how Mighty is he how Mighty is he well he's mightier than the devil well isn't that deep today you mean to tell me you mean to me I dressed up and come to church for you to give me that statement I did he's mightier than the devil because the devil is one of the two greatest enemies you have he hates you he hates your children he'd like to creep in through the wind of seal and pervert the mind of your child he would like to put a wedge between the marriage and break a marriage he loves that he loves pain he loves suffering he loves to see Humanity suffer he's your great he's one of your greatest enemies you said I have two enemies which is the other one you you matter of fact you are your greatest enemy and I am my greatest enemy Satan is number two in Luke 11 verse number 19 Jesus was casting out Devils Jesus was casting them out I love the term when it comes to Devils casting out love the term casting out and please don't ever be influenced by movies you see about exorcism don't ever be don't ever look at Hollywood don't ever watch that junk and watch the bed jumping up and down and watch the priest being knocked out of the window it don't happen that way he cast them out he don't even lay their he doesn't even you won't find one place in the Bible that Jesus ever laid his hands on somebody and cast The Devil out he simply spoke the word and they have to leave why how did he do that because he is mightier than the devil he simply spoke the word and they had to leave in Luke 11 verse number 19 he's in this conversation because they're accusing him of being able to cast out Devil by the power of bbub which is the prince of the devil and so they're saying oh the reason you can cast out Devils is you have the prince of the Devils inside of you which is be elub listen to what Jesus said in Luke 11:19 he said if I by Beelzebub cast out devils by whom do your sons cast them out therefore shall they be your judges but if I look at verse 20 closely but if I with the did that did that say fist did it say arm did it say all the might what's just say somebody help me today a little participation here with just the Finger of God cast out devils no doubt the kingdom of God is coming to you I believe that he uses that term finger there to show you don't sweat it I didn't have to use my fist I didn't use have to use my arm I didn't have to use all my mind I just simply figuratively use my finger like you flick a fly or you you just flick something off that's all that's all it took for our God and His Name Shall be Called wonderful canel are the Mighty God that's all I had to do I like how he goes on verse 21 when a strong man everybody say when a strong man when a strong man armed keepeth his Palace his goods are secure you got a strong man he's armed he's keeping his Palace everything in his Palace his kingdom is is in peace but when a stronger then he shall come upon thee and overcome him he taketh from him all his armor wherein he trusted and divideth his spoil now this has been preached in reversed I've heard this preached in Reverse in other words keep the devil out of your house Jesus is your strong man keep the devil out of your house because if if he comes the stronger but you got poor interpretation scripture it said when a strong man armed keepeth his Palace his goods are in peace 21 but when a stronger then he shall come there's no stronger than God if God is keeping your house there is no stronger than God so the your interpretation of that needs to be turned around it's actually we were born with Satan in control of our minds we were born Sinners we didn't become Sinners we were born Sinners we were born born in sin and Satan had control of our minds our thoughts our house we were under his domain we were his he bragged about it we were in the kingdom of darkness the Palace of Darkness but thank God a stronger than the strong man came to this earth and entered the domain of Satan how did he get domain Adam forfeited it when he ate from the tree Satan became the ruler of the world Adam was supposed to be the ruler but Satan has been the ruler and for thousands of years Satan had his house he had it all secure he had his kingdom all laid down but over in Bethlehem there was a little baby born which was a miracle and his name Shall be Called wonderful counselor the Mighty God I'm telling you hell God a news release we're being cast out we're being thrown down our diseases are being healed all of these things are happening in our life why a stronger than the strong man has come why don't you give the Lord a hand of Praise right now hey stronger let me tell you what he did at Calvary and I mentioned this the first lady the other day in the car I believe that hell has had more conversations about this than we can imagine I believe Satan has said said many times why in the world did we crucify him openly why did we crucify him openly why did we put in the rulers Minds to crucify him why did we put in the people's minds to crucify him why did we do it openly because it's a mistake the adversary made because When They Crucified him openly it would become proof positive that the one you crucified on Calvary was the former occupant of the empty tomb that you have in the garden G because you did it openly there should be a tomb with a dead man in it but there's no tomb with a dead man because he showed himself Victor he entered into the strong man's house and he took dominion over the strong man now let me tell you what rulers do when they go into a kingdom and they take authority over another kingdom and they defeat the king they put him behind they put the king behind you come marching into town you always know who's the Conqueror and who is the Conqueror by who's standing in line the first king in line is the Conqueror the one standing behind is the conquered that's why Jesus goes ahead and writes the check out to Satan in the wilderness by saying get thee behind me Satan I'm going ahead and serving you notice right now you are going to be I I wish we'd speak by faith if God can speak by faith we can speak by faith I'm tired of having the adversary in front of me I'm tired of having my life runed and let around I'm tired of all that it's a day it's a day it's a day wonderful counselor the Mighty God Colossians 2:5 listen to what he did and having spoiled principalities that spoil means to take away principalities is the devil and having spoiled principalities and power he made a show of them openly triumphant in over them in it devil you have to understand your Lethal Weapon your nuclear bomb your your your nuclear bomb was death but when a stronger than the strong man came a man that was able to touch taste death but a God that can never die you mingled together a man that can die and a God that can never die and you put them in one body which is the Son of God deity and the son of man flesh go ahead and put them in one body and Hebrews 2:14 will tell you this for as much then as the children are partakers of Flesh and Blood God he also himself likewise took part of the same that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death that is the devil and and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage for verily he took not on him the nature of angels but he took on him the Seed of Abraham can I tell you today the most lethal weapon the devil had the stronger than the strong man came 2,000 years ago and he died he tasted death for you and I on Calvary they put him in a tomb but 3 days later the god that caused his conception caused his resurrection and he rose Victorious over death hell and the grave but I got good news for you and I he said if this Same Spirit dwell in you that was in Christ Jesus it shall Quicken your mortal bodies also I wish somebody would shout and his name shall be called oh I see today the clock is beating me already musicians and singers would you come I see today that the clock is beat us first John chapter 3 and verse number eight he that committes sin is of the devil for the devil sinth from the beginning for this purpose the Son of God was manifested that he might hinder The Works of the devil huh I'm want to see you awake with me T now he might do what not hinder he might destroy the works of the devil but let me go on time is ticking his name Shall be Called wonderful his name Shall be Called counselor his name shall be called The Mighty God and His Name shall be called the Ever Isaiah 96 the Everlasting father why is he called the Everlasting father the father is the one who begat you he's Everlasting he's unchanging me let just sink into you your father is the one that begat you once a father's done that he is your father there's no change ing that you can't change that genetics he is your father now listen to me why in the world Jesus do you want to be identified as the Everlasting father because I want you to know that I don't change I want you to know that I don't change you see as you go through life and you go through seasons of life you go through aging there's changes that come to your mind your emotions there's changes that come to you but in the midst of all your changing I want you to hold tight to this God never changes he's the Everlasting father if you can tell me about a time years ago that you walked in and God wrapped his loving compassionate arms around you and loved you until tears till tears stream down your face don't you settle on this Pew today and wondering I wonder does he love me I wonder that does he loved me we were having dinner the other night at Zach and Lauren's house and it was a birthday party uh maybe it was Chad and Fallon's house with having a birthday party for I believe it was London and uh my sister Kathy and Kippy came over and if you've ever noticed they they they're grandparents that that are not grandparents but they're grandparents and um hammy or Hampton um Kathy probably get on to me after church but they're they're all the favorite they're all the favorite they that Kippy and Kathy come along in a time when they're born and and and and just take them and they spoil them and all this everything from when church is over today if hammy goes home we call him hammy if hammy goes home with them hammy gets hammy he don't only gets to tell them he wants to go to Target he tells him which Target he wants to go to and and he and he gets if he goes to Starbucks he has a special way that he wants things put in his cup so aun Kathy stands there and tells her he's got to have it this way if you don't do it this way he won't have the peace of God it is not God's will that there's not peace in every family in our church it's not God's will there's not peace in every family in blank County it's not God's will peace peace it is not God's will that there's family members that you are at odds with it is not God's will that there's people that you're not at peace with as a child of God As a Christian we should seek the peace of all men and yes that even means our enemies we should seek their peace it is not God's will that families are torn apart it is not God's will well brother Carpenter now I'm getting some of them to change it's going to be this way I'm telling you that that's just in their person is okay maybe I don't understand but I do know that Colossians 3:15 the last verse for the day no no no no no Philippians 4 and6 it w't be truthful last verse I'm going to say in this sermon verses 6 and 7 Philippians 4 6 and 7 seven be careful for nothing that means don't have anxiety over nothing don't let anything stress you don't have any anxiety over nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God and the peace of God which passeth all understanding shall keep your hearts and Minds through Jesus Christ you're right I don't understand but there's something called the peace of God that can come down that surpasses my understanding that God can bring us peace in this time father in the name of Jesus right now I pray over this congregation Lord I pray over this congregation right now in the name of Jesus that if there's a man a woman a boy or girl that's here and they don't have the peace of God in their heart right now Lord they're so full of turmoil they're so full of emptiness they're so full of misery they're so full of pain they're tired of trying to fight on their own but somehow they've stumbled in this place and his name is called wonderful counselor Mighty God Everlasting father and now we need that peace today Jesus right now with every head bowed and every eye closed Hallelujah we need that peace right now oh Jesus we need your peace right now God we need the Prince of Peace to walk up and down the aisles of this church I open this altar up right now while while every head is bowed and every eyes closed and everybody praying right now if you're here today and your life is full of turmoil you're here today and your life is full of emptiness if you're here today and you're looking for something right now why every head is bowed I want you to slip out of your Pew and I want you to walk down to the front of this altar and I want you to begin to commit your life to Jesus Christ that's what his name is Jesus Christ that's what his name is if you'll begin to call out on that name if you'll begin to call out on that name the Wonder the miracle will come if you will begin to call out on that name the counselor will come if you will begin to call out on that name the Everlasting father will come if you'll begin to call out on that name the Mighty God the Prince of Peace oh God I love you today please I'm asking you over and over again but please bow your heads right now please close your eyes and no one looking around right now it's the name of Jesus it's the name of Jesus say you're standing here this morning you heard the word and your heart your mind has been moved today but you're just not so sure about walking down to the front you're just not so sure about that right now it's a new place and you're just not so sure about that every head is bowed in this place and every eyes closed but would you help your pastor to pray for you will help will you help your preacher to be able to pray for you in the days to come I promise you the hands that I will see raised today I'm only asking for this for my Monday prayer I'm only asking this today that when I go to prayer on Monday and I begin to pray for all the people that were at church the past Sunday I'll remember your hand and I'll today Lord God In The Name of Jesus God it's not your will for my life to be in turmoil peace peace it's not your will God for my life to be in turmoil peace oh God peace Lord oh peace God come on don't try to have peace in your family till you have peace in your heart don't try to have peace in your marriage till you have peace in your heart don't try to have peace in your family till you get it right in your heart come on can we lift up our voices can we lift up our hands today could we seek the peace of God
