the Lord is among his people tonight the Lord is in this house tonight oh glory be to God oh glory be to God the Lord is here tonight and anything is possible anything is possible tonight oh hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah I'll tell you what we're going to do tonight I wanted to keep that song good and handy I'm going to preach a few minutes because it ties into what the Lord laid on my heart today at the end of when I get finished if you want God to do something for you if you give him all you have praise and worship he'll perform Miracles tonight amen they sang the song tonight fire fall on us so I think it's appropriate that I'm opening and reading my text tonight from the fire book in the Bible the book of Acts Acts chapter 16. verse number 13. Mighty God Of Heaven Holy Ghost we worship you we magnify your name this ain't no ordinary worship Acts chapter 16. don't get quite open now Acts chapter 16. verse number 13. you have in your Bible say Amen and on the Sabbath we went out of the city by Riverside where prayer was want or accustomed to be made we sat down and spake unto the women which resorted thither go down to Acts the 16th verse and he came to pass as we went to prayer a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us which brought her Masters much gained by soothsay the same followed Paul and us and cried saying these men are the Servants of the most high God showing us the way of salvation this Niche many days but Paul being grieved turned and said to the spirit I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her and he came out the same hour verse 25 and at midnight Paul and Silas prayed saying Praises unto God and the prisoners heard them for a few moments tonight I want to minister on the church the church of the Midnight Hour the Church of the Midnight Hour lift your hands in this pray father we worship you oh God our souls have been lifted above the shadows of doubt and fear our Spirits have been charged and lifted up tonight Lord God you have already moved in a mighty way and God I know there's miracles to take place in this house tonight God there's miracles to take place in this place tonight Lord for the next few moments Lord Jesus lay your hand upon me let me Minister the word of God in Jesus name we pray give him a hand of Praise as you're being seated so good brother Hammond mentioned have a fellow Pastor brother sister Piercy with us tonight from over in Knoxville so good to have him in service with us this evening we preach the same Faith the same Lord same message his brother I didn't know it was his brother but his brother from west Tennessee called me the other day wanted me to come preach for him he identified himself as brother piercing which I said do you know Jason Pearson and his response said I should and this is what he said to me brother Piercy he said I'm his brother but I'm the good-looking one I haven't seen your brother yet so I'm yet to make that opinion all right so good to him so good to have them the Church of the Midnight Hour the 16th chapter of Acts Paul is going back over areas that he has evangelized and established churches he comes Upon A Place in the 13th verse he comes upon a place that needs a church it needs a move of God you realize with me don't you that every village every town and every city needs a church that's why we give to missions right am I right that's why we give to missions is because every person should hear the gospel Paul finds his way in the 13th verse to a city and this city does not have a synagogue the city does not have a local place of reading scripture and worship that was normally where Paul you would find Paul was in these synagogues and he would be expounding in teaching that Jesus is the very Christ that the Old Testament was prophesying of but this town doesn't have a synagogue there's a lot of research that could be said it's been said that there had to be so many men in a city or a town for there to be a synagogue but nonetheless there's no local place of worship here Paul doesn't give up Paul somehow finds out that out of town by a Riverside there was a group of women which would gather and there there they would pray you know one of the best places to find a move of God I could say the only place but one of the best place to find a move of God is where people are hungry when people are hungry for God you find people that are hungry for God you find people that are hungry I'm not only hungry for God tonight brother Piercy I'm not only hungry for God tonight but I'm hungry for God to do more I'm hungry for God to do more Among Us the days of Miracle signs and wonders are only over if we don't hunger for them the days of answered prayers are over only if we don't hunger for them but if you'll show me somebody that gets a hunger for a move of God just go join yourself to them because God is going to show up where people are hungry for him come on Church let's go lose our hunger for God thus don't lose our hunger for God these women were hungry they were hungry for God this is where Paul found himself I believe Paul was extremely pleased that he didn't find a bunch of cold religion and people cold I believe he was relieved when he went around that City and out of that City Down by the Riverside there he heard the old familiar hum of people that were praying and I just know that when Paul heard the hum of people praying Paul knew that God was going to move finding the 14th verse and just allow me to read it to you tonight a certain woman named Lydia of the a seller of purple of the city of pharatira which worshiped God heard us whose heart the Lord opened she attended it to the things which were spoken of Paul and when she was baptized in her household she besought us saying if you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord come into my house and abide there and she constrained him can I tell you hungry people want to keep the word close to them hungry people this woman named Lydia was hungry for God there's a lot of hungry people in our city tonight there's a lot of hungry people that don't know one Lord one faith and one baptism there's a lot of hungry people that don't know water baptism they don't know Spirit baptism they've never heard whether there be any Holy Ghost but they're hungry people and I just believe if we're hungry for Hungry people God's going to connect us together and when we get together with hungry people baptisms are going to happen I said when we get together with 100 people baptisms are going to happen that's what happened last Sunday when nine Souls were baptized in Jesus name some hungry people got in this house are you hungry for more oh Lydia was hungry it's the first open heart surgery performed in the Bible the Bible said whose heart the Lord opened I guess you'd call that an open heart surgery couldn't you because when she opened her heart you got to have worship worship opens the heart and when the heart gets open that's when the man of God puts the word of God inside the heart when Paul put the word of God inside of her heart the next thing she wanted to do is be baptized the next thing she wanted to do is get her house baptized and then as Paul starts to leave town she says oh wait just a minute I'm not just going to have a casual meeting with you I want you to come on home with me I'm going to tell you something home is where we fight the battle home is where the enemy wants to take over we not only need a God we hunger for to move at church we need a God that we hunger for to move in our homes I'm talking from the upper room to the living room we need a God that can move in our homes you see you got to be hungry for God you got to be hungry for more of God as a matter of fact Jesus places a blessing upon those that hunger blessed fortunate well-favored are they that what hunger and thirst after righteousness as a matter of fact hungry people seemed to find other hungry people life finds light if you're hungry you find other hungry people if you're discontinued oh help me now isn't it amazing how misery always finds company don't know about you but I don't want a company with folks that are discontented with the ways of God I'm happy with this Apostolic message I'm happy with the apostles Doctrine I'm happy with the Holiness of which without no man will see the Lord don't try to Buddy up with me and give me a new fandangled doctrine you want to hang out I'm I'm absolutely hungry after more Holiness I don't believe it's a day to let down I believe it's the day to lift up I don't believe it's a day to go back I believe it's a day to push forward somebody ought to clap their hands right now are you hungry are you hungry I'm hungry for God I've heard about McGinley street but I'm hungry for God I've heard about 17 23 William but but I'm hungry for God I've heard about this miracle but I'm hungry for y'all I'm hungry for God it's amazing how hungry people find Hungry people you do know hunger will move you don't you somebody said you can't teach a dog new tricks and somebody else said yeah but you can move his water bow people that are hungry get on the move hungry people find Hungry people and hungry people they want to move to where the food's at find me four lepers outside of the city of a famine find me four lepers without hope inside the city Gates there's no bread but a risk of going out to the Army the enemy we know there's bread out there and four leprous men said you hungry I'm hungry I'm real hungry can't you hear my belly growl I'm real hungry can't I hear your belly Rock and count every rib up your rib cage there you better believe I can and one of the lepers said well why sit we here until we die let's look at our options if we stay here we're going to starve to death if we go in the city there's no food there why don't we just take a chance on going out to the enemy's Camp what do we got to lose if we die we just die but little did they know that God was going to use hungry people you don't have to have everybody in your church praying for a move of God just give me a couple of hungry people you don't have to have evil but I'm going to tell you something we've got some young folks in our youth group that are hungry for God and don't you be intimidated for those that are not because God can take a couple of hungry people and God can turn our youth group upside down stop waiting for everybody in the church to be at prayer God can take four leprous men and cause a move did they get bread those of you that know the story sure they did they got more than enough they were the catalysts of feeding an entire city I'm going to tell you something your hunger for God is the doorway in to your drug-ridden relatives getting the baptism of the Holy Ghost your hunger for God is the doorway into cousins you've not seen in a long time getting the baptism of the Holy Ghost and having the chains of sin broke over their life and when it's all said and done throughout eternity the the word will be recorded because Aunt Malik Nelly got hungry for the Holy Ghost somebody else came in and somebody else came hungry for God but you know something this spiritual thing of hunger you've got to acquire a taste for it you've got to acquire a taste there's just some things that are good for you now let me rephrase that most things that are good for you don't taste good I mean to tell you a cake with a stick of butter and a half pound of sugar taste good but that low fat stuff I never figured this out how the low-fat stuff that they're supposed to take all that out of costs more but if you can ever learn to eat that little low-fat cake and just acquire a taste for it it's just good for you you can ever just if you can ever just choir a taste for broccoli you may be seated it's just good for you if you can ever just choir just to acquire a taste for grilled everything it's good for you you know if you can ever just acquire a taste for the things of God at first you don't just taste good to the Natural man the natural man doesn't like living under submission to God the natural man is a wild man he likes to do what he wants to do come when he wants to come go when he wants to go live the way that he wants to live he likes that kind of living but you can look at yourself in the mirror and tell it's not good for you but oh give me somebody that's hungry for the word of God all I got to get you convinced of is old taste and see that the Lord is not good oh okay let me tell you something if I can just get you coming to church on a regular basis and hearing the word of God it won't take long for you to be in the mirror of your life and say man I'm looking better now I used to be a wreck I used to be fighting this depression and that depression but since I've been come on stay in the church come on stay in the church come on keep eating the word come on keep eating the word of God it may not taste good but it's making a good difference in your life acquire a taste we'll taste and see that the Lord is good you see you've got to do it until your brain cells override your taste buds those french fries look a whole lot better than that broccoli but you got to tell your brain the broccoli is better the broccoli is better one more year with the grandkids the broccoli's better the broccoli I didn't hear somebody say bring on the fries did it no no no your brain cells have got to override your taste buds you got to get hungry for the right things you got to get hungry for the right things in your life please don't make silly trades some people are hungry for the wrong thing and they they really trade their future they really trade their future they get hungry for the wrong thing and they're willing to trade their future who you talking about I'm talking about Esau who we should be preaching tonight he is the god of Abraham Isaac and Esau but we don't preach he's the god of Abraham Isaac and Esau do we we preach he's the god of Abraham Isaac and Jacob why because a man got so hungry that he was willing to trade his spiritual heritage for a momentary satisfaction of the flesh please don't sell your heritage for a moment of satisfaction of the flesh because the scripture should say Abraham Isaac and Esau but because a man lived for the moment it was Abraham Isaac and Jacob I looked tonight on a mass crowd of people that according to God there's a long Heritage waiting here your grandchildren are going to know God your great-grandchildren are going to know God if God carries his coming if God tarries his coming you'll be in the graveyard but your great great grandchildren will be filtering their way up into the choir law they'll be workers here they'll be missionaries here they'll be used in the kingdom of God unless you trade your heritage your future for a momentary satisfaction there's nothing worth going to hell over there's nothing with my family losing out with God over stay in the church stay hungry for God he went out to the city Paul went out to the city where prayer was wrought to be made and when Paul got through with that prayer meeting there was a church that was established and if you ever want to find the devil you'll find him around the church the devil always shows up around a move of God anything God's got going anything God's got going just look out the devil is going to try to invade it as a matter of fact we are born Sinners tonight because a snake the devil got in the garden when that snake why did a snake there was a lot of places that snake Satan could have went why didn't Satan go to a number of places and try to pollute and pervert because he wanted to be in that Garden where God was working can I tell you don't be surprised the devil will always be around a move of God somebody said to me one time and he said look you talk about the devil bothering you he never bothers me I thought yeah why would he that's that's frown on your face that lack of testimony why would he want to bother you you ain't causing him no trouble nobody's thinking about going to God because of what you're doing matter of fact you're the best advertisement for them not to come because they don't want to be like you so no wonder the devil wouldn't try to bother you but you give me somebody making a difference in the kingdom of God don't think it's strange the devil will come around your house your life and try to bother what you're doing for God come on now Paul got the devil stirred up he established a church that's why on the 16th verse just after he established the church in Lydia's house in the 16th verse it goes like this and he came to pass as we went to prayer a certain damsel possessed with the spirit of divination amid us that Greek word their divination is python python the spirit of python met us you start doing something for God the spirit of python comes out because the spirit of python this was a Greek goddess this was a Greek god that was represented as a python that surrounded the oracles or the written word of a false god there was all of these these these books written of a false religion and they had this statue of this Python and they they preached and they believed in this python this Spirit of python met us there was a woman damsel young girl possessed with the spirit of python amid us which brought her Masters much game by Suicide she could foretell the future or so so it appeared the same followed Paul and us and cried saying these men are the Servants of the most high God which show unto us the way of salvation and this Niche many days but Paul being grieved turned and said to the spirit I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her and he came out that same hour can I tell you what Paul got tired of Paul got tired of harassment he got tired of the spirit of python harassing him and got tired of the spirit of python associating itself with Paul the spirit of python told the truth these men are the Servants of the most high God which show unto us the way of salvation but Paul did not want to be associated with the spirit of python I believe that the spirit of python is here to harass us I believe that the spirit of python is here to weary us because python knows if I can get my hold upon them I will eventually silence them if I can harass them long enough now I did a little research on python how does a python kill its prey I found that a python works like an ambushment you are you the python waits to fall upon its victims unexpectedly to fall from the tree the python is such a large reptile that it doesn't move quickly swiftly on the ground it has its Advantage from hanging and just all of a sudden falling upon the prey as the python falls upon the prey the python begins to wrap itself around the prey because the way python kills its prey is suffocation suffocation I studied today to where the python is able to know when you inhale and when you exhale and it has been shown that when a victim would exhale that the python wrapped tighter so that it's more difficult the next time to inhale I found that the python actually as it wraps around its victim has a sensor that wants to listen to the heartbeat because the breathing can almost stop but the victim is not dead until the heartbeat stops it is when the heartbeat stops that the Python's Jaws are so flexible that they can open up several times the size that it is and swallows its victims hold can I tell you the spirit of python we'll try to come upon the church it will try to harass Us in this last day that's why when it's the most difficult time to praise God you've got to say let everything that hath breath praise God don't let python talk you into taking a praise break don't let python talk you in to just taking it easy on a service because if he can just keep you from breathing it's not going to be long until your heart is going to stop beating don't lose the heartbeat for prayer don't lose the heartbeat for worship don't lose the heartbeat for Missions don't lose the heartbeat the Holiness or somebody gonna help me on this Sunday night don't move your heartbeat thank you Spirit of python is wrapping itself around Paul and Silas Paul knew if I allow you hear me tonight if I allow path python to stay python will squeeze the breath out of me if I allow path or python to stay in my life see some of you do not need to get grieved you need to get grieved just along with Paul some of you need to get grieved at what the devil python is squeezing into your life you need to get grieved with a mess that he's putting you in your life right now you need to identify him as Python and stop blaming one another for this you need to identify him as Python and stop blaming your children for this you need to identify this as Python and stop blaming people in the church it's python it's Python and until you turn the python and say in the name of Jesus Christ get off my back get off my back get off around me I'm gonna breathe the air of Revival tell me God's done with me get off my back python tell me it's over you get off my back python now watch this you watch this with me now he turned to her and he said in the name of Jesus Christ come out of her and the Spirit came out that same hour look at verse 19 and when her Masters saw that the hope of their gains were gone they caught Paul and Silas drew them into the marketplace under the rulers brought them into the magistrate saying these men being Jews do exceedingly trouble our city and teach Customs which are not lawful for us to receive me that neither to observe being Romans the multitude rose up together against them and Magic States rent off their clothes and commanded to beat them and when they had laid many stripes upon them they cast them into prison charging the Jailer to keep them safe and just follow me now whatever happens see some of you some of us stand dumbfounded because we're going to rebuke python tonight but just because we rebuke python tonight doesn't mean that python will not resurface you see python is a spirit and you're going to deal with a spirit tonight but when you get python off your back python is going to he is going to show back up in the lives of other people around you that don't even know that python is using them we got a world that doesn't even know the devil's using them governments are nothing more than puppets in the hands python they don't even know they don't even know it's python let me give you another little example of this the the man that was a demon-possessed man in the tombs right Jesus cast The Devils out right what did the devil's request to resurface in the pigs you say well that was that was a that was a bad mood no I was that was a very that was a very wise move on the devil's part you know why because pigs represented money and when the men of the city came out and saw the pigs drown guess what the men of the city said to Jesus get out of here leave here oh we don't care that you could you could take a demoniac you could take a wild maniac and put clothes on him and put him in his right mind and make an Evangel side we don't care about that you just mess with our pigs you see the devil has a way just because we're going to rebuke him and we are in just a moment we're going to rebuke python some of you are going to breathe for the first time in a long time tonight some of you going to identify this pressure that you're feeling you're trying to medicate it you're trying to do a whole lot of things you're even trying to study it out you even python has even got you so he's got you so oxygen deprived that you're even beginning to believe that the church is your issue and that if you would get out from under this quote bondage you can get out there and live free I never understood why people say we're living in bondage and they're the ones wearing all the chains demoniac pigs men saying leave us the woman the spirit of python was cast out python slithered under and went to the magistrates and the magistrates the owners got together and said these men are teaching Customs they begin to lie upon these men they begin to lie upon them teach customs and then they begin to beat you say the carpenter I thought it was going to get better when I cast python off my back you know sometimes you identify it you still have some more trials ahead so don't get discouraged you're going to rebuke python in just a moment and don't get discouraged if you don't have a Monday and a Tuesday that you're going to look back on and say what in the world is there anything to this because python is going to Slither out of here tonight he's going to go out into the lives of people that affect you and they're going to come against you but don't give up don't give up he beat Paul and Silas they beat their backs they laid many stripes upon them they beat their backs and they laid many stripes upon them the Bible says in verse 24 who having received such a charge thrust them into the prayer in a prison and made their feet fast in the stocks let me show you something now what happened in the spiritual python restricting is now in the realm of the natural we are naturally confined now we're in a prison our feet cannot move our feet are held are held fast in the stocks we're chained to the walls we're in an inner room in an inner prison what happened in the spirit is now trying to restrict you in the natural I'm not saying that you won't be restricted in the natural but you have the last move you have the last decision a python because the Bible says and at midnight Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises to God and the prisoners heard them can I tell you python is defeated when you understand you can't spiritually restrict me and you cannot physically restrict me I have the ability to pray and if I have the ability to pray I've got the ability to sing that's why python wants to get you to stop praying hell will run rampant over your life if you stop praying python will rule if you stop praying I wish somebody would shout midnight I wish somebody would shout midnight God does a lot of work at midnight you read your Bibles God does a lot of work at midnight the Bible tells us that God began after 438 years of Egyptian bondage the Bible says at midnight God began to kill all the firstborn of Egypt God started that work at midnight Samson is surrounded by the enemy but the Bible said Samson got up at midnight and carried the gates of the city away Ruth got proposed to by Boaz guess what time it was it was the Midnight Hour I've come to see if anybody wants to cash in on Psalms 119 and verse 62. Psalms 190 do I have any takers tonight do I have any takers because midnight is not a time on your clock midnight is Vision that you make just say it's over I'm done I'm tired of path to python I'm says his mouth says it was cold and it was raining and the heathens began to build fire Hall got warm I'm gonna tell you what kind of apostolic Paul was Paul could not only have you do something for him but he could do something for you because I guarantee you Paul's sitting there getting dry and getting warm Paul's getting ready to start preaching Paul's getting ready to start testifying and guess what oh Paul now this is in the Bible now Paul gets up he gets dried off he gets warm Paul goes over and finds him a bundle of sticks when he finds him a bundle of sticks he takes it over the bundle of sticks he takes it over to the fire and as he is about to lay the bundle of sticks in the fire guess what was in the bundle of the sticks you got it python it was a Viper inside there and the Viper come out and the Viper latched itself onto the hand of the Apostle Paul when the heathens saw that Viper hang poisonous Viper hang on Paul the heathens changed their judgment and they said this man must have been a murderer he escaped that would look at the Viper hanging on his hand the poisonous Viper but do you know where Paul took python he took him over to the fire and he held him over the fire you know where you need to take your python those songs we sang tonight Pentecostal fire fall on us again fire fall on us again fire fall on us again this is your freedom this is your Liberty this is your bondage breaker this is your young breaker take it to the fire he took it to the fire and held it over the fire and the poisonous Viper let go and then they kept watching him because they were saying any minute he ought to start swelling any minute he should start sweating profusely any minute he ought to fall over dead those those snakes bite you and in an hour you're dead but they watched him for one hour two hours three hours four hours can I tell you something python can kill you but if you're around what God is moving in the power of python cannot get you foreign and when they looked at him after a few hours they changed their mind they said this man's not a murderer he's a god Paul had to straighten them out and they let it I said can you come back here chief of this city his son is dying in that in that room back there and although the book of Acts does not record baptism for Holy Ghost it records a healing but you can't tell me that before Paul left that Island he didn't baptize some of them in Jesus name and some of them received the gift of the Holy Ghost because Paul said I'm not going to let python get in my life I'm not going to let python squeeze this outer tonight I'm only I'm only asking I'm only asking those that don't have one ounce of pride in you to move as quickly as you can if you feel you've got python on you come quickly right now come quickly right now come quickly right now come on come quickly right now come on come on come on come on let go of that puke come on come right now this ain't no ordinary worship come on I rebuke you in Jesus name in the name of Jesus in the name of Jesus in the name of Jesus Miracles here it goes miracles Miracles come on there's Miracles here tonight oh my God my God my God one another right now the great power of God is going to pass it through this building in the name of the Lord Jesus foreign hero again three days thank you let me tell the story every day don't worry foreign foreign as a verse in this song that talks about a woman that had bled for 12 long years 12 long years of disappointment 12 long years of pain paleness bleeding but somebody told her about Jesus a song will tell you that she said if I got to get on my hands and knees I'll get so desperate enough that if I can just Touch the Hem of His Garment I want you to know tonight python doesn't move until python seeks census desperation they tell me that a reptile snake cannot hear that the way that the snake knows somebody's around is vibration I believe tonight that we need to Worship in such hot fashion that we vibrate the gates of hell now the hell begins to know oh hell begins to know come on this is a cry to the desperate this is ladies see them ready foreign there is glorious
