"Divine Expression"- The Apostolic Connection

the book of Hebrews chapter 13 chapter 1 and verse number one Hebrews chapter one and verse number one the Bible says God who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the father's by the prophets have in these last days spoken unto us by his son whom he hath appointed heir of all things by whom also he made the world's who being the brightness of his glory and the Express image of his person and upholding all things by the word of his power when he had by himself purged our sins set down on the right hand of the Majesty on high going back up a few words to get my title for today and the Express image of his person the Express image of his person I want to preach teach today on divine expressions divine expressions the word express the word express means something that is said or given in a clear way a clear Club explicit if an expression is something that is said and given in a clear way it is an expression this past week is very extremely visible with people attempting to show their expressions to one another husbands and wives and boyfriends and girlfriends have been in an attempt to show their expressions of love they want to show their love they want to express their love they they want to show their love in some form or some fashion I'm not the only one here today but you've seen several people carrying roses or candies or cards because it's a time that people in this world are attempting to express how they feel about each other I read some interesting facts about the valentine day and this time of the year when people are trying to Express they're trying to express their love to each other I read one thing that said that fifty-three percent of women in America would dump their boyfriends if they did not give them anything for Valentine's Day huh they would dump the average US consumer is expected to spend the average unite us consumer is expected to spend 116 dollars and 21 cents on valentine day yeps meals and entertainment thirty-two percent of consumers planned valentine day shopping online men spend double what women spend on valentine day amen we spend men spend 158 dollar 71 cents compared to women $75 and 79 women prefer a gift after a nice dinner while men prefer their gifts the first thing in the morning if you're a friend not a husband and wife a spouse a boyfriend a girlfriend you're just a friend you go way down on what is spent on you most people only spend six dollars and thirty cents on a friend four dollars and ninety seven cents on the classmate and the teacher and three dollars and 41 cents on average if you are a co-worker on this day 1 million or excuse me a hundred and forty-one 141 million valent a dog fallon day valentine day cards i'll get it right are exchanged worldwide 141 million Valentine Day cards are exchanged world wide more than 9 million pet owners are expected to buy gifts for their pets this valentine day the average person will spend five dollars and four cents on their pet I'm sorry Bentley in Einstein I'm sorry you were left out of that an estimated 180 190 8 million million roses were produced for valentine day 110 million mostly red were sold 110 million were sold and delivered within a three day period people will spend now get a load of this now it's not million this goes on up people will spend 1.7 billion on flowers this valentine's day 1.7 billion fifteen percent of women I think they I think I know where they come from fifteen percent of us women send themselves flowers on Valentine's Day that's after they dump their boyfriend chocolate and candy sales reach profits of 1 billion during Valentine's season 36 million heart-shaped boxes of chocolates will be sold for valentine day you know the rule the little candy heart that has a message on like chill out or or yes or whatever about eight billion candy hearts will be produced this year that's enough chanting to stretch from Rome Italy to Valentine Arizona 20 times and back again people are doing their best to express their love for each other jewelry spending on jewelry is expected to reach 3.5 billion dollars of people trying to express their love well today you know that's not what I'm going to teach you on a preacher because I stand before you today with something far greater than a box of chocolate or a necklace or some kind of rose flower today I stand to declare before you in Jesus name the greatest divine expression of all is God's love for you and I that's the greatest divine expression of all now the book of Hebrews says that God spoke to man in many ways sundry that means many different ways all through the Old Testament God spoke to man but then in verse 3 of chapter 1 of Hebrews it says that in the last days that he has spoken unto us through his son who is the Express image of his person or as the word there means he is the expression Jesus Christ is the expression of God's personality he is the expression of God's personality the the American Standard Version says he's the very image of his substance the English standard virgin said version says he's the exact imprint of his nature so Jesus Christ is God's divine love expression to a lost and a dying world he is that divine expression of love he is trying his best to give you an eye that expression today that I love you and I want to say on the onset of this Bible lesson that God loves us today and I believe the most motivating thing in my walk with God for 35 years has been the fact that I come back that God loves me I think what has picked me up more times and made me start over again in 35 years of living for God is to understand that God has a plan for my life it's a divine expression it's it's a divine expression of him saying I have a plan for your life can you say men the Scriptures will tell us in Revelation chapter 13 in verse number 8 this is a verse of scripture that discusses those that have received the mark of the beast it is a scripture of those that have doomed and damn their souls by receiving that mark of the beast and it simply goes down and it says that they're all down whose names are not found written in the Lamb's Book of Life but notice this slain from the foundation of the world slain from the foundation of the world now wait a minute doesn't it make sense that God made a man perfect and God made an environment perfect and when man decided to break God's law God came up with a plan I Got News for You God didn't come up with a plan after Adam and he failed bless God he already had a plan he already had a plan you see in the mind of Almighty God Church he had a plan nothing catches God off guard nothing catches God surprised no one needs to give God a heads up Gabriel doesn't give God a heads up nobody has to inform God that there may be issues down the road the Bible says that Almighty God already have a plan in motion to save the souls of you and I now if that's not a divine expression I don't know what he is because in this love affair of husbands and wives or engaged couples or boyfriend or girlfriend let me just sneak something in on you today women like when you plan out the evening they like that when they get to the restaurant if it's a special occasion and flowers abroad or whatever they like that you say well what is it what is it about a woman that she likes that she likes the fact that her man thought about the evening before they got there and they say oh that's some sweetie I came to the restaurant I did the essence I already got this prepared I already called ahead and you need to go ahead and pack your bags we're leaving in the morning and all that you know it's not the trip that you're taking that just sweeps her off her feet it's the fact that you thought enough to plan in advance because that in and of itself is an expression of your love now let me bring it back home to our God today it wasn't after Adam and Eve ate of that tree it wasn't after Adam and Eve failed that y'all got in heaven and said I need to come up with a plan I think I need to go and become one of them so I could save him know he had already planned it out in this romance he already knew if they eat of that tree I've already got a plan in motion that will save them that ought to speak to us of the murse see of God's divine expression would you just lift your hands this morning and would you just magnify the lord with me a divine a divine expression today you see it was in it was in the first book it was in John chapter 1 and verse number 45 you say you may have just stumbled in here today someone may have invited you here today you may find yourself in this place today someone invited you someone's been on to you or you just had a feeling this past week that you need to come can I tell you this morning you didn't have that feeling on your own can I tell you this morning it wasn't just that your friend won't you here today it is an expression of the love of Almighty God to tell you today I knew you before you got here I had a plan for you this is only the place that you're going to start that plan in motion today are already knew you amen and so John chapter 1 and verse number 45 what's this closely with me Philip findeth Nathaniel and saith unto Him we have found him of whom Moses and the law and the prophets did right Jesus of Nazareth the son of Joseph and Nathaniel saith unto him now Philip starts witnessing to Nathaniel and he starts saying we found the price you need to come and see him we have found him Jesus of Nazareth listen to kind of help a little bit of sarcasm here and Nathaniel saith unto Him can there be any good thing come out of nashville's Nazareth Philip saith unto him come and see said he said could anything good come out of that place down there should there be any good thing come out of out of that so yeah I want you to get in the mindset of Nathaniel for a moment you know Philip Johnson since we found the Christ we found the Savior we found him and he's Jesus of Nazareth and then all sudden the thing of stock come on now you know the type of people that live in Nazareth you know the type of type of folks that live down there in that city can anything good come out of Nazareth he just simply said come and see and Jesus verse 47 and Jesus all Nathaniel coming to him and saith unto him behold an Israelite indeed in whom is no guile Nathaniel walks up to Jesus and Jesus begins to read his mail Jesus at all an Israelite here of whom there is no deceit in other words I know you I know who you are I already know who you are here you've come to me and the Bible says keep that Nathaniel in verse 48 it then you'll say Thunder him wince knowest thou me jesus answered and said unto him before that Philip call thee when thou west under the fig tree I saw thee Nathaniel answered and saith unto him rabbi thou art the Son of God thou art the king of Israel watch this now isn't this neat today he goes from being he gets his door knocked on he gets a door hanger on his door from Philip saying that we have found the Messiah he steps out and Philip says come on Nathaniel we have found the Messiah Jesus of Nazareth he said can any they come out of down in Nazareth he just said well just come on and sing and when he was walking up to this Jesus of Nazareth Jesus said I know who you are you're an Israelite there's no deceit in you Nathaniel steps back for a moment says he'll in the world do you know me we've never met he said well let me tell you something when you got up this morning and you spent some time in prayer under your favorite fig tree I saw you under the fig tree before Philip ever come and invited you to come see me he changes can anything good come out of Nazareth and he starts to say you are the son of God you are the king of Israel you are the Messiah you're the one it's all the fact that he knows us oh I want to get us excited today the fact that he knows us is a divine expression of his love for you and I the fact that you're here today the fact that yesterday at this time that you were out and just going about your business and somebody met you and invited you to the house of God is a divine expression of God's saying I love you I've got a plan for you and I want to work in your life would you just wrap your hands and magnify him with me this morning he is he you don't have to guess you don't have to wonder what a man's walking through the mall with flowers in his hands you don't have to guess you don't have to wonder I walked out lady got off a lady got off the elevator friday night at the hospital and she had a large bouquet of roses and I what my wife said somebody's special she said yes and said I'm coming I've got to work I've got to work the night shift to work two or three shifts and she said my husband bought me these and said I didn't want to leave them at home I didn't want to leave them at home so she said I brought them to work because her husband gave her a visible sign an expression of his love and again this morning I'm not preaching about the day that that's being celebrated I'm talking about the Great God of heaven the fact that you're here this morning you're carrying a bouquet of mercy and God is saying I still have a plan for you I still love you you're not counted out you're not counted down you're not trash your treasure I still have something for you today o sister where this morning you're a testimony of somebody that's carrying a bouquet of Mercy flowers and God is saying I still love you well I still have a plan in mind for you oh thank god oh thank god you see Adam and Eve you totally blew it you totally blew it Adam and Eve you had it made and you went and broke God's law and you find yourself with your eyes open but it's not the education that you thought that it would be God comes down and God judges you but it is something of an expression the Bible says in Genesis chapter 3 and verse number 23 a divine expression God would leave God would just not leave God would just not leave Adam and Eve in their sin God didn't just come down and sit all right all right Adam you're going to work by the sweat of your brow you're going to earn your bread by the sweat of your brow he didn't just say all righty you're going to give birth to children and you're going to go through great pain in the child birthing process he just didn't say to the devil your serpent you're going to crawl on your belly all the days of your life and dust shalt thou eat before God left that garden God left them a divine expression ya'll said I'm not going to leave you like this and so before God left that garden in Genesis chapter 3 and verse number 15 he said let me give you a divine expression because God's Word is His divine expression the mind of God and the will of God is contained in the word I have told the man that he'll work by the sweat of his brow I told the woman that she'll give birth to children it's true she ating pain but before I leave this garden I want to say to you I will put enmity between thee and the woman between thy seed and her seed it shall bruise thy head and thou shalt bruise his heel God said I want to tell you bini you're going to produce woman is going to produce a seed one day and that seed is going to set straight and order again the beauty and the perfection of the Garden of Eden and that seed was none other than when God became a man through the seed of a woman and that seed of a Woman Jesus Christ came and Jesus Christ took his heel and he crushed the head of the serpent with his heel every word every tool every vice that the Evil One has today need not be feared church because our Savior left us a divine expression and said one day I'm gonna put my heel on his head I am going to take care of it
