if you have your Bibles and would stand with me this evening I want to invite your attention to the Gospel of John chapter number 18 and we're going to begin reading at verse number one we're going to read all the way down through verse number nine verse number nine John chapter 18 verse number 1-9 we know God speaks to us through his word don't we aren't you glad we heard this morning that God's able to take ugly situations and turn them into beautiful things and um I want the Lord to speak to us again tonight when Jesus had spoken these words he went forth with his disciples over the book Brook Kidron where was a Garden into the which he entered and his disciples Judas also which betrayed him knew the place for Jesus often times resorted fither with his disciples Judas then having received a band of men and officers from the chief priest and Pharisees cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons Jesus therefore knowing all things that should come upon him went forth and said unto them whom seek ye they answered him Jesus of Nazareth Jesus saith unto them I am he Judas also which betrayed him stood with them as soon then as he had said unto them I am he they went backward and fell to the ground then asked he them again whom seek ye they said Jesus of Nazareth Jesus answered I have told you that I am he if therefore before ye seek me let these meaning his disciples let these go their way that the saying might be fulfilled which he spake of them which thou gavest me I have lost nothing would you put your Bible down for a moment would you lift up your voices tonight in individually and would you ask God to speak to you through this word tonight would just say God would you speak to my heart tonight Lord would you let the word find a way to come into my heart God come into my mind come into my current situation God would you let your word tonight Lord build Faith In My Heart Lord that I can understand that Lord no weapon formed against me will prosper God help me to understand tonight God that you're always with me you'll never leave me nor ever forsake me Lord would you anoint your servant tonight God I will give you glory for the anointing in Jesus mighty name we all pray in Jesus name we pray you may be seated tonight thank you for standing in honor of the reading of God's word well I want to use a word tonight I want to use a title that would sound more like I'm an insurance salesman all right I want to preach for a few moments tonight on full coverage full coverage well I guess in a lot of ways I'm not an insurance salesman but I do claim to be a Assurance salesman amen insurance and Assurance is two different things tonight I'm not trying to sell you a policy of 100% replacement because quite honestly I don't want 100% back of what I am right now now I want to go to a much better place than this amen full coverage full coverage it's a neat little story there in the Book of John Jesus is praying with his disciples the night before Calvary he takes them to that that garden and there there he begins to pray it's interesting that as he has his disciples there praying that Judas has went through and he has gathered a group of men to arrest Jesus Jesus is going to be arrested there in the Garden of Gethsemane and of course the Bible says there came a group Judas is leading them Judas is leading them because Judas is familiar with the place Judas had been there many times with Jesus as that was one of his favorite spots to go and to have prayer and uh it's night time so they need uh they need lanterns to to lead the way there in the dark uh Garden that they were entering into and and they not only need they not only need lanterns they need the temple the temple Soldiers with their armor on and you can hear it clanging as they're walking and the light shining as they're coming through through the garden and not only that but uh they also came and they thought there may be some trouble and so we'll bring some weapons with us and we're we're tow there that they came with their their lanterns and their weapons and they came and they they came came to that place and uh Jesus steps out as if to stand as if to stand between Judas the temple guards the those that were there to arrest Jesus to stand between them and his disciples he was standing with them behind him and Judas and the mob was in front of him he asked a simple question whom do you seek whom do you seek probably probably in a rough commanding voice one of them said Jesus of Nazareth he spoke the word back to them simple few words I am he I on speaking these words I am he not only did he release words from his mouth Not only was there breath coming across his lips and his tongue but also divine power issued out when he said I am he this divine power acted like huge hands that took Judas took the guards took these strong double fisted broad shouldered soldiers and literally shov them backward and they fa to the ground as they're there you can kind of see them in the commotion probably wanting to make sure that somebody's torch didn't catch somebody else on fire and somebody was trying to get their armor put back on straight and they're trying to figure out what in the world just happened to us they gathered themselves and stood back and Jesus asked the same question question who do you seek they said Jesus of Nazareth he said I have told you that I am he now I want you to leave these alone and let them go on their way you can have me I'll go with you but I have got a protection that I'm giving to those those that are behind me now we begin to understand he demonstrated this power of shoving these men to the ground one man the power of God flowing in him was able to speak a word shov them to the ground it was as if saying well I'll tie the song into it don't even make me come down there don't even make me mess with you you don't want to mess with with me because there's something about these that are behind me I have given them and canot use the word I have given them full coverage tonight and I want you to know tonight as a child of God you and I can take great Assurance in the fact that we're not partially covered that when it comes to God we are fully covered you thankful tonight as a Believer a child of God a child of the king with royal blood flowing through your veins tonight that he has got us fully covered we don't have to fall and be fearful of what's going on around in the world I'm not fearful of what's happened yesterday I'm not fearful of what's going on in our world today but I'll tell you what I am prayerful but I'm not fearful and I'm not fearful because I know who has the church in the palm of his hand beautiful imagery throughout scripture that depicts how God has us one scripture says that we are in our father's hand and no man can pluck us out a few verses later Jesus said you are in my hand and no man will pluck you out and then he simply said I and my father are one the word pluck there means to take by force the word pluck there means to snatch away to take before to be stronger than the hand that carries you but Jesus said you are in my hand and there's no one that can ever pluck you out there's not a devil there's not a Lucifer there's not a Satan there's not a bunch of devils that can take us out of the mighty hand of almighty God we are living we are living tonight in full coverage I begin to go through the scripture and find many scriptures that give us that that that Blessed Assurance of that we've got full coverage in the hands of God in Psalms chap 37 and verse number 23 Psalms 37 and verse number 23 says the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and He de he delighteth in his way though he fall he shall not be utterly cast down for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand you see as a child of God tonight this is why you really want a relationship with God because he knows more how to order your life than you do than I do isn't that wonderful he knows more tonight how to order your life than you do or than I do or anybody else around you you see this this evening if you don't fully submit your life to God and Just Surrender Your Life to God and not play around with God don't play Church don't don't play religion you you live so far underneath what God has planned for your life but if you'll submit your life to God he's going to order your steps he's got things planned out in your life he is ordering he's ordering just like just like ordering at a restaurant you order this and you order that and then in a few moments that comes back it comes back to your plate your table what you've ordered and God has ordered blessings for your life God has ordered God has ordered all kinds of peace and joy and you fulfill his ultimate purpose don't you want to have that ordered life he said the steps he said the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord he Delights in his way and then he says something in verse 24 that we're going to have to study a little bit though he fall though he fall you see even though God has ordered our steps in that ordering of the steps there's the possibility there that I might fall but he says if you fall you won't utterly completely you won't utterly you won't completely be cast down in other words you're not going to stay down you might fall but you're not going to utterly be cast down let me go to another another passage of scripture first Peter First Peter chapter 1 Peter chapter number um two and verse number 21 steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord 1 Peter 2:21 for even here unto were ye called because Christ also suffered for us leaving us an example that we should follow in his steps that we should follow in his steps in other words just like the choir saying this morning morning There Ain't No Grave going to hold my body down and the part about that song that I really get into if you walk out of that grave come on choir if you walk out of that grave walk into if you walk out of that grave so whether wherever he has walked he has left us an example that we can walk in his steps how do you know you're going to be victorious because he was Victorious how you know how do you know that your how do you know that your Friday crucifixion is going to end up in a Sunday morning Resurrection I'll tell you how I know it ended that way for him and if he walked out of that grave I'm walking too because I've been baptized into Christ and Christ is in me the hope of glory but wait a minute brother Carpenter you got off subject you said though he fall he will not utterly be cast down where in the world is it ever written where Christ fell well it's not written there in so many words but it's certainly implied Mark chapter 15 verse 20 Mark 15 and verse 20 and when they had mocked him they took off the purple robe from him put his own clothes on him and led him out to be crucified now in between that they gave him the whipping post the cat of Ninetails they stretched him they stretched him to his tiptoes and then they took a whip that had nine pieces of leather one whip one trunk nine pieces of leather that stretched out at the end of the leather was tied rocks and glass and any other sharp object and they would whip him from this angle and they would whip him from that angle historians tell us that a man at the whipping post the man that went to the whipping post never survived the whipping post that most men died at the whipping post they they died there at the whipping post but you see Christ can't die there because it's been written in scripture the word says that he's going to die on a cross he's not going to die at a whipping post can I tell you it will be the word that will determine where you die it will be the word that will determine just how far you go I'd say that when brother Nolan when they released him from the whipping post and he probably collapsed to the ground he probably collapsed to the ground they knew at that time he's still alive he's still alive there's no way possible this man will be able to carry his own heavy Cross Beam up the hill to gatha there's no way this man will be able to carry the this man will never be able to take the steps he'll never be able to carry that Cross Beam all the way up to Calvary but the Bible says in verse number 21 and they compelled Simon i s who passed by coming out of the country he was the father of Alexander and Rufus to bear his cross there was somebody there to bear his cross there was somebody there that when he couldn't do it when he didn't have the strength humanly speaking when he didn't have the strength to carry his cross God had so ordained that when he had fallen Christ had fallen he wouldn't utterly be cast down because God had ordained that a brother would come along and a brother would help carry that load I'm glad I'm in the church tonight I'm not a loner I'm not a Hermit I'm glad that I'm among the body of Christ tonight because Ecclesiastes says in Ecclesiastes 4 and9 two are better than one because they have a good reward for their labor if they if they fall the one will lift up his fellow but woe to him that is alone when he fth for he hath not another to help him up now I told you tonight I told you tonight that I'm not a I'm not an insurance salesman but it's going to sound like when my when my life is in a wreck and when my automobile gets in a wreck and it's beyond driving it can't go on its own I can't go on its own I can't go on my own hear me tonight now when You Face something a wreck in life that you can't face you can't go on your own you don't have the strength to make it on your own if the insurance you take your car and they will give you a rental car or they will give you a loner car and that loner car is only to be with you until you get your car put back together and running I'm glad tonight that in the body of Christ that when we Face things alone that we can't walk anymore we can't bear it anymore that God has got somebody there with us that'll come up and say it's not ordained that you die at the whipping post it's not ordained that you quit here we've got to make it all the way to the trumpet sounds aren't you thankful tonight to have full coverage to have full coverage that somebody will come oh give him praise tonight come on give him praise tonight if he fall he shall not he shall not not utterly be cast down can I tell you we may get knocked down we may get the wind knocked out of us we may have things come our way but thank God for the body of Christ thank God for my brothers and sisters in the Lord thank God for a hand of encouragement thank God thank God for a hand of encouragement you never know what a hand of encouragement means to somebody that's going through a trial you never know what a text message means to somebody you never know what a phone call means to somebody you never know what a handshake and a stare right in the eye means to somebody when they look at you and they say hey I'm praying for you you're going to make it God's going to help and I'm telling you tonight even Jesus Christ when he couldn't walk all the way to Calvary God had somebody there to say I'll come along beside you because you're not going to die here I want you to fulfill the will of God you're supposed to die on a cross not on a whipping post I want you to P you're not going to quit here you're not going to lose out here you're not going to fall out here this trial is not going to take you down because there's a brother there's a sister that's going to come along beside you and say come on we' got to make it to the trumpet sound we got to make it all the way wish somebody shout full coverage full coverage I got to reading some more Psalms chapter 34 and verse1 17 Psalms 34 and verse1 17 the righteous cist and the Lord heareth and deliver them out of most of their troubles thank you for the correction deliver them out of what all the righteous cry the Lord heareth deliver them out of all their troubles the Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit many are the afflictions of the righteous but the lord deliverthat the devil wants you to magnify your Affliction but I've come for you to magnify your deliverance the devil wants you to see what you're going through I've come to preach to you what you're going to there's a big difference the righteous cry do we have trouble you better believe it do we have trials you better believe it but the righteous cry and the Lord hears and delivers them out of them all the righteous cry the righteous cry righteous people pray righteous people pray before trouble righteous people pray during trouble righteous people pray after the trouble's gone righteous people pray pray does that make three times righteous people pray before trouble one righteous people pray during trouble two and righteous people pray after trouble three don't ever stop praying when Trouble Comes if you've ever needed Prayer For Heaven's Sake you need it during trouble I've seen people that sail along in life faithful to the house of God get in the choir sing in the choir teach a Sunday school get Sunday school book Sign up for nursery work in the house of God all this stuff and trouble hit their life and they won't say Pastor I won't meet with you a few minutes after church not I just want to get out of the choir for a while why well I'm just going through a lot honey if there's a time you ought to be more in the choir it's when you're going through trouble because the devil wants to untie you the devil wants to get you untethered from the church because he's blowing with a wind and he want want to blow you out of here but if I can keep tied down to the choir if I can keep tied down to the now y'all hearing you Pastor tonight when we pray before before what during what after what that's three times isn't it man as a man in the Bible by the name of Daniel the Bible said he had an excellent spirit in him he had an excellent spirit in him and uh the Bible says about old Daniel that he was elevated promoted to a very prominent Kingdom a place in a very prominent Kingdom the kingdom of the mes and the Persians powerful Kingdom and old Daniel had been promoted to one of the chief presidents there was three there was three and Daniel was the chief of all the presidents now let me tell you something about Prosperity let tell is a challenge of prosperity when God starts prospering you you will lack people that applaud you you'll have more people get je us of you then he come along beside you and say man I'm with you so Daniel he's prospering he's he's he's not one of the three he's over the three and boy did they ever get jealous of him the three other guys got jealous of him and they said we need to dig up some dirt we need to dig up some dirt on Daniel go ahead and run the files down at the CIA see if we can dig up some dirt on him him I I mean we got to dig up some Scandal on him we got to dig up some kind of dirt on him man they look they tried to dig up dirt on on Daniel they said man we can't dig up nothing on this dude that I mean he don't even have a chariot parking ticket I mean he don't he he don't even have anything unpaid in I mean he he he he and one of them said I tell you what we're going to have to do said the only way we're going we going to trip him up he said we know we've watched his life and that man's got prayer of the morning and prayer at noon time and prayer in the evening he goes back to his apartment he's a funny dude he goes back to his apartment opens his window toward Jerusalem and I mean he just cries out that window every morning every Noonday at noon and in the evening time and they said we have to find something against his God and they couldn't but they made it up they went to the king and they said oh King you're so wise and so I mean they were laying it on thick you're so wise and so mighty and you know wouldn't it be wonderful if we just if you just made a law that said that no one can request or counsel with any God or any other person pray to any other God or any other person for 30 days for 30 days they cannot pray to and and why don't you just make that into law and and oh King why don't you use that that that pen of the mes and the Persians where you sign this and it cannot be reversed even you can't reverse it you can't even reverse this own law and he said well you know what I am pretty smart and it would probably be pretty good if people only talk to me about problems for 30 days andless and so he signed it and the Bible says the Bible said when Daniel knew that it had been signed he went back to his apartment opened his window and prayed three times a day as he had done a four time he prayed before trouble he prayed during trouble and he prayed after trouble he opened up that window the Bible said the righteous Tri and the Lord hears and delivers him let me tell you there is not a reversible law with the almighty God he's able to change anything break any lock make any way that can come to your life you just need to pray many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord there he was praying here they are spying haha we caught you Daniel we caught you praying Daniel we caught you oh King we got somebody now we've arrested who is it we got somebody that was praying well bring them in here they're going to be thrown into a den of hungry Lions I mean we have starved these guys we have starved Leo I mean Leo the Lion we have starved him his bones are showing his ribs are showing he's hungry his tongue is so long it comes out and licks the back of his head them lions are just down there in that in that Den they call it the Lion's Den they're just circling just like a bunch of buzzers just circling and they brought him in there and they said oh King Daniel is a man Daniel's a man Daniel's a man uh uh not not Daniel no no no no no no not Daniel and the king tried all day long the Bible tells us in Daniel chapter 6 the king tried all day long not to put him in that lon's Den but then those same presidents came around they said now King don't you start entertaining not not not altering this law you know as well as we do you you can't alter this law right here and the king called Daniel in and he said Daniel I've done everything that I can to try to deliver you but listen to this listen to this even a heathen King says this the god whom you continually serve he will deliver you you let me tell the power of a prayer life a power of a life that prays before before trouble during trouble and after trouble the power of that it even influences Sinners that are around you Sinners take note of that and even Sinners say hey I I know they're going through something but them people of prayer I I I know they got a lot of trouble right now but them people of Prayer I know God's going to bring them through the Bible said the Bible said the king went back they put Daniel they threw Daniel in the Lion's Den they threw Daniel in the Lion's Den let me stop right here and tell you this whenever you're a man or a woman that prays before trouble during trouble and after trouble you change the atmosphere around you you change the atmosphere around you you can walk into a room with bad news and with fear but because you pray before trouble pray during trouble and pray after trouble you start changing the atmosphere in the room around you I submit to you tonight that when they threw Daniel in the into the lion's den that the the Lion's Den was no longer dominated by the Lions it turned out to be Daniel's Den the lions were just there it wasn't the Lion's Den prominent over Daniel it was Daniel's Den prominent over the Lions and when Daniel I can see those Lions as they begin to lower Daniel down and they started licking their chops ready to eat this man all of a sudden the angel of the Lord came in and the angel of the Lord came around with a little shot now I'm adding to this now but it did happen an angel of the Lord came just to you know just did something to their jawbones and their hungry to eat this hungry to eat this man right here and all of a sudden my mouth open I'm so hungry keep get my mouth open and the lion God's angel just shut their mouth and all night long oh Daniel was in the Lion's Den and I bet you he was praying while the lions were over there with their mouth shut can I tell you something God is able to shut the lion's mouth of your life if you'll just understand I've got full coverage I've got full coverage Rejoice not against me oh my enemy when I fall for I shall arise for greater is he that's in me than he that is in the world I've got full my God I wish you'd praise him like he's worthy tonight I wish should praise him like he's worthy right now oh don't drop your coverage come on praise him because he got full coverage tonight I'm covered my husband's covered my children are covered my job is covered full coverage let me bring let me let me come back to this we were building the church up on the hill we built the Church on the Hill the same way we built this by faith and me sister Carpenter looked at our finances we was trying to do everything in the world to cut our finances so that we could give more to the church up on the hill to build my faith and one of the things we looked over I had a pickup truck at that time it was was paid for and I had full coverage Brother chesan full coverage on that pickup truck now I could just I could drop it down to liability and it would cut the insurance premium almost in half and so he said baby you know we we Dro full coverage here we give a little bit more up on the hill and and we called the insurance man and we dropped full coverage on that truck meaning I was only insured if I hit somebody all right and I was only insured to cover their car Heath and Ashton so good to see you all tonight but Heath we was having dinner out at your mom and dad's house out there when they lived in the trailer behind the funeral home and something happened I couldn't drive with sister Carman at night she had to take the car and I drove the truck out there what a fine meal with your mom and dad had good Fellowship going home that night sister Carpenter took off first and I was right behind her but uh got a little space between us coming down the road a deer a deer the the largest deer you've ever seen in your life he leaped he did he leaped from the roadside and he met my pickup truck in midair man antlers went everywhere windshield was busted deer on the hood I got out of the car and deer's laying over here he's done went on to Dear Heaven seeing his dear Mommy there my car is leaking antifreeze headlights kind of dangling like this right here I got in the truck and I knew man this things overheating and I I started chasing sister Carpenter flicking flickering my lights on bright and but I see why don't she see me flickering my lights on it D do me I don't have any lights up here radiator busted Hood buckled in the middle and all that finally we Liv in over defo circle at the time finally got it home the next day I called the insurance man and I said you know I know I called you here a few months ago and Dro full coverage but can you help a brother out he said oh I can help you out he said you need to go out to where smart ell he said go out there and lift that deer up and see if it's got an insurance card on it well the moral of the story is I think I sold that old truck to brother stened I believe he's here tonight I did did I sell that old truck to brother stened he fixed he fixed it but boy did I ever regret dropping full coverage cuz when you don't need it you don't appreciate it but when you need it you're glad you got it can I tell you I hope tonight that every one of you children of God somehow say man I appreciate having full coverage I just appreciate being in here his hand I appreciate having full coverage don't you want to have full coverage tonight oh let me go on let me go on for a moment let me go on Daniel's in the Lions Den the Lion's Jaws are locked the king is home and the Bible said the king didn't sleep all night long he was probably singing that old country song I'm walking the floor over you I mean he didn't he he didn't didn't sleep all night long the next morning the Bible says the the Bible said the king came in Daniel chapter 6 Daniel chapter 6 and verse number 21 King came down to the mouth of the Furnace no no no no the king came down to the mouth of the Lion's Den I'm going to stop right there because there's another king in the same Book of Daniel that had three boys thrown in a furnace but he came to the mouth of the Furnace can I tell you even heathens expect for us to come out why do you go down to the mouth of a fiery furnace that's done kill one of your men before they ever got in there why would you go and look down inside there I'll tell you why there's something about the people of God that even causes sinner people to say I think I'll take a look at them now I know they were going through the fire but I think I'll take a look at them now and the King came down to the mouth of the furnace and he said wait wait whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa did we not throw three men bound into the fiery furnace and they said true oh King he said well you get down here and show me how I see not three but I see four men loose walking around in the fire F Old King came down to the mouth of the Lion's Den why do you come down to the mouth of the Lion's Den when nobody survives the Lion's Den I'll tell you why I'll tell you why Daniel he came down in verse 21 then said Daniel unto the king oh King live forever verse 20 the king had said oh Daniel was your God able to deliver you verse 21 then said Daniel unto the king oh King live forever my God has sent his Angel and has shut the lion's mouth that they have not hurt me for as much as before him innocency was found in me and also before the oh King have I done no hurt then was the king exceeding glad for him and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den So Daniel was taken out of the den and no manner y'all seeing this tonight and no manner of hurt was found upon him why because I say it together because because he believed in his God can I tell you when you got full coverage and you believe in it your God you're going to overcome the obstacles that come in your life full coverage but now I want to turn just for a moment I want to turn just for a moment and I want to talk about people that you never hear of again in the Bible because they were not covered they pulled any out of the Lion's Den Daniel stands there with not even a stratch on him he stands there looking just like he did the night before he was put in he stands there it has fulfilled the law of the mes and the Persians he stands there before the king and there the jealous presidents were and the King Wills around and the King says take these men take their wives take their children and through throw them into the lion's den and the Bible says the Bible says before they ever hit the bottom of the Lion's Den the Lions had devoured them and broken their bones can I tell you tonight why I've got full coverage I don't just have full coverage for me but I want I want I want the first three pews of this section right here to stand up I want the first three pews of this section right here to stand up the first sister Ericson one two three I need the first three pews dear God you count money here the first three pews to stand up you know why I got full coverage because if you got full coverage your family's got full coverage I want to have full coverage because I want my family to have full coverage you know why those men that didn't have full coverage they not only got ate by the Lions but their family got ate by the lions come on if you love your wife you'll have full coverage in Christ if you love your husband you'll have full coverage in Christ if you love your children the best thing you could give your children is full coverage because it works it works it works full coverage full full coverage throw them into the lions then throw them into the lions then how about job and Job 28 job 20 excuse me job 23 verse number eight man lost his health man lost his children land man lost his wealth his children he lost his health and I know it's so easy we know the story we're not even halfway yawning right now we know oh Carpenter but he came out yeah but he didn't know it sweetheart just like you're going through some things right now and you don't know how it's going to end but when you know you got full coverage you lay your head down at night and you sleep a good night's rest why because you know in whose hand you are you know that you've got this full coverage that is about you listen to job listen to job job 23:8 behold I go forward but he is not there and backward but I cannot perceive him going forward means he had a Tim Li he said you know maybe by this time next week maybe at this time next week this thing will be over maybe this time next month this thing will be over he had time limits and he set maybe maybe a month from now I know why I'm suffering why I'm suffering maybe a month from now I I'll know why I'm going through what I'm going through any of you ever had time limits that you you thought you're going through things and you thought I'd say by Christmas time this thing will be lifted but you go forward you get to Christmas and it's not lifted job said I go forward but he is not there backward but I cannot perceive him I can't look over anything he's brought me through on the left hand where he up work but I cannot Behold Him He hideth himself on the right hand that I cannot see him but he knoweth the way that I take when he hath tried me I shall come forth as gold listen to this now my foot my foot hath held his steps his way have I kept and not declin don't stop serving God because you can't understand God don't stop serving God because your life is upside down job said I went forward but he wasn't there I went backward I couldn't find him on the left and on the right I feel like he's hiding himself from me but here's where I take great comfort he knoweth the way that I take when he ha tried me I shall come forth as
