would you stand with me tonight invite your attention to the book of exodus chapter 25 and verse 1 while i'm saying that i want to thank god for my son-in-law brother chad erickson and my daughter fallon we needed a youth pastor so desperate desperately a few years ago and i hired with a chat ericsson to come and be our youth pastor and he ended up marrying our oldest daughter fallon and it's good to see brother erickson's mom and dad here tonight and then years later our school got to growing and i hired an athletic director zach hammond out of florida out of georgia and he ended up marrying our baby daughter we have a son left nolan he told me the other day he said daddy if you hire a woman let me see her first i'm so thankful to have my blood sister here tonight kathy and i'm so glad to have my brother-in-law kippy here and i was privileged a few weeks ago to baptize my brother-in-law in jesus name so thankful thank you for allowing me to take just a moment welcoming my family i have a burden on my heart tonight and i'm going to quickly go to my burden i'll tell you the burden here at probably the end of the service but i have a tremendous burden on my heart today exodus chapter 25 and verse number one and the lord spake unto moses saying speak unto the children of israel that they bring me an offering of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering go down to verse number eight and let them make me a sanctuary that i may dwell among them for just a few moments tonight i want to preach on the purpose of the offering the purpose of the offering let us also remember as we go to prayer for brother everett mayo who cancer is ravishing his body tonight let us pray a healing hand of god upon him right now let's lift our voices and our hands together father in the name of jesus i come before you i thank you god for all that you have done lord i thank you for the message of bishop baker i thank you for the message of brother perdue i thank you for the messages lord during the day sessions father i pray tonight that you would direct my lips and my heart god that i could deliver to the assemblies of the lord jesus christ exactly what they need father touch brother mayo father heal his body and strengthen his body lord we need you tonight god speak to us lord on this last night may we leave here with a clear-cut direction and inspiration in jesus mighty name we pray somebody shout amen somebody clap their hands to the lord right now you may be seated god spoke to his redeemed children of israel and god asked them to give their valuables verses three through seven god asked for their gold their silver their brass god asked for their cloth he asked for the blue the purple the scarlet the fine linen he asked for rams skins dyed red and badger skins and shot him wood he asked for oil for light spices for anointing oil and sweet incense onyx stones and stones to be set in the ephod and in the breastplate and then he said let them make me a sanctuary that i may dwell among them would you please notice with me that god would ask for their willing hearts before he would reveal his wonderful plan he asked that their hearts would give because he placed a stipulation upon the offering he said it has to come from a willing heart now you note that he had at this time in scripture had not even told them that he was going to dwell among them he first wanted their willing hearts before he even revealed his wonderful plan it is absolutely mind-boggling tonight that god would desire to dwell among his redeemed god desires to dwell among the church think about that for a moment god desires to dwell among the church god desires to dwell among the church giving us light and giving us light giving us life and giving us his exceeding great promises it is god's desire to be our almighty god and it is god's desire that we would be his people he said in his word i have come that you might have life and that you might have it more abundantly he said in his word that he would show us the path of life and in thy presence is fullness of joy and at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore he said in isaiah 43 and 1 but now thus saith the lord that created thee o jacob and he that formed thee o israel fear not for i have redeemed thee i have called thee by name thou art mine when thou passeth through the waters i will be with thee and through the rivers they shall not overflow thee when thou walkest through the fire thou shalt not be burnt neither shall the flame kindle upon thee verse 18 remember ye not the former things neither consider the things of old god said i don't want you thinking about the past i don't want you dwelling in the past behold i will do a new thing now it shall spring forth and ye shall not know it i will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert i i'm talking about the purpose for the offering tonight i said i'm talking about the purpose for the offering tonight you see he would be a pillar of cloud by day upon the tabernacle and he would be a pillar of fire by night upon the tabernacle the importance of the chapters in exodus which deal with the tabernacle this is how important the tabernacle is god created the whole world in six days six days he created the whole world but when it came time to tell moses how to build the tabernacle it took him 40 days 40 days only six days to make the world but 40 days to tell you about the tabernacle he's trying to tell us that his presence is among us is far greater than this old world that we're living in that's why he said come out from the world and be you separate saith the lord you see the church is a much better place to be in tonight then the world is i'll tell you the bible tells us to love not the world and the bible tells us that the friendship of the world is enmity with god you know one way not to love something is not to start liking it you never have loved anything that you didn't first like that's why young folks ought to date in the faith don't even have it on your option list to lock a boy or girl out of the church because just as sure as you start liking them you'll start loving them that's why when it comes to the world i don't like anything the world has because i never want to love the world somebody help me preach tonight but what my attention is drawn to isn't only the life that the tabernacle brought but also the admonition that if the tabernacle was not handled correctly death would result i'm not only concerned i'm not only absolutely awed by the fact that the tabernacle brought life but that wonderful tabernacle would also bring death if not handled correctly exodus 28 and verse number 33 the bible talked about the clothing of the priest and in exodus 28 and verse number 33 it said about his clothing and it said and beneath upon the helm of it thou shalt make up pomegranates a blue and a purple and of scarlet round about the hymn thereof the bales of gold between them round about a golden bell and a pomegranate a golden bell and a pomegranate upon the helm of the robe and it shall be upon aaron to minister and his sound shall be heard when he goeth in unto the holy place before the lord and when he cometh out that he died not they were ordered to sow bales upon the helm of the of the priest garment and the pomegranates and so that that baal which was an announcement would hit that fruit and the hitting of the fruit against the bell made a sound which tells us that we don't eat any sound that doesn't have fruit don't need a voice in the assemblies of the lord jesus christ if it doesn't have fruit but you'll never have fruit without a sound if you've got fruit there will be a sound but i've underlined it i've looked at it it wasn't optional he said you got to have this on your garment and if you don't have it when the sound goes in and when the sound comes out one translation says the robe must be worn by aaron whensoever he ministers its sound will be heard when he enters the sanctuary before the lord and when he exits so that he does not die there's a sound that needs to be heard when we come into the house of god there is a sound that needs to be heard when we leave the house of god on tuesday evening we entered this place with the sounds of a hunger for god in our voices we gathered from the north the south the east the west we gathered from around the globe but we came with a sound touch me oh god moved upon me oh god you see we don't have the anointed voice of bishop baker and the anointed voice of brother perdue and the anointed voices of our day speakers they were not anointed for no cause they were anointed because a group of people gathered and said god i haven't come on a three-day vacation i haven't come to slap backs and just have a little fellowship i'm hungry for a move of the almighty god i've got to have it i must have it i won't leave without it i've got to have the move of god but i tell you what concerns me tonight i'll tell you what concerns me and i may get ahead of myself i feel the moving of the presence of the cloud because god also said to aaron don't you come into my presence at any time lest you die not in other words god orchestrated when he came in god orchestrated the move you didn't decide when the move happened god decided when the move happened if i could plead with this organization tonight i'm feeling in my spirit that god is moving the assemblies of the lord jesus christ you can sit there and say i've heard that before all you want to but if you be a believer you will be a receiver but if you're a doubter you'll do without it you hear me you can sit there and say i've heard this before but i'm here to tell you god is moving on our fellowship and god is saying it's time i would be afraid to leave here without a sound we come to conference hungry for god but on this thursday night we're going to leave like a roaring lion i'm ready to get back to my church i'm ready to get back to my city i crawled out of my city i looked out of my city i was barely making it out of my city but something something something something happened at general ministry conference i'm going back to my city i'm not the same man somebody told me about a vision somebody told me i don't know how and i don't know when but you are going to make it somebody told me about a god who can heal cancer a god that can make a way you better get in the water now you better get stirred now you better not let this pass you by honey it's going to be too late in september when it dawns on you you need a revival you ain't coming in just anytime you want to you better move while the cloud moves come on magnify him tonight i'm not going back negative i'm not going back defeated i'm not going back counting how many is left i'm going back anticipating how many is going to come in i'm not going back looking at people against me i'm going back looking at everybody that's for me because if god before me if god before me who can be against me he said you don't come into my presence anytime you want to you don't orchestrate your move anytime you want to sir you don't sit here tonight and look and say well it looks like some folks are excited but i'm just going to wait till september and november to get excited when you get ready he may not be ready for you you ever thought he wants us to move his one body you ever thought it's god's will that sunday morning and i'm going to tell you something i promise you sunday morning at nine o'clock eastern standard time i'm going to be at our church in maryville and i'm going to be lifting up the ministers of the of the aljc i'm going to be praying for every every executive board member i'm going to pray for our general board i'm going to call our departmental leaders by name listen this is a great day i thank our forefathers i'm going to tell you i thank our forefathers i thank our forefathers when they were coming up for a name with this organization they put the name of jesus in that in that name i'm thankful tonight wherever it was at urania wherever it was at i'm glad somebody said put the name in there put the name in there we've got to have them come on i believe god's gonna bless god's gonna prosper our revival doesn't need to be a hit in a mess and a hit in the midst it's god's will in this hour that we leave murphy's borough tennessee and that we all have a revival he said in his word can i preach a few more moments please he said in his word in exodus 30 and verse number 17 he said in the lord speaking to moses saying thou shall also make a labor of brass his foot also a brass to wash with all and thou shalt put it between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar and thou shalt put water therein everybody say water thou shalt put water therein aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet therein when they go into the tabernacle of the congregation they shall wash with water that they die not or when they come near to the altar to minister to burn offering made by fire unto the lord they shall wash their hands and their feet that they die not and it shall be a statue forever to them even to him and to his seed throughout their generation we know that the labor had mirrors that were around it now think about this the labor for washing of which typifies baptism but can it can also typify the washing of the word we know that the labor was directly in front of the altar we know that you first came to the altar and you took care of flesh at the altar we don't have a money problem we got a flesh problem we don't have marriage issues in our churches we got flesh issues in our churches we don't have fornication problems in our church we got flesh problems in our church we don't have this a different day and it's a different time and people just don't dedicate with holiness like they used to and people just are not faithful all the time to church like they used to and they just don't tithe like they used to in all this that that is all baloney folks what we've got is a flesh problem and if we can take care of the flesh we have got to take care of the flesh if we could get the flesh taken care of there wouldn't be one more case of divorce if we could get the flesh taken care of there wouldn't be one more case flesh me and my brother we just don't get along you maybe see to me and my brother we just don't get along he's a personality this way no he's no no no no no no no it's flash stinking rotten rebelling you first came to the altar and you dealt with flesh then you went on to the labor that had mirrors around it and you took care of the small dirt from flesh you took care of god how do you see me you know what motivates me to live for god the mirror at the labor that not only helps me see myself but it also gives me a rear view look at the world outside you know what motivates me to keep on praying i see the world there oh god i don't want anything to do with the world as a matter of fact let me say you know the fuel do you know that the fuel for the the fuel for the altar and the water for the labor do you know where it came from do you know where those the fuel the wood for the altar and the water for the labor you know where it came from the gibeonites a heathen people deceived the children of israel they dressed up like they had old clothes on they dressed up like they had old sacks upon the beast and old bread and old shoes they they made up themselves like they had been traveling for thousands of miles and they came to israel and they said oh we hear about your god and we surrender to your god and and we'll be and and the bible said they ask not counsel at the lord and they said we will make a covenant with you folks you can live among us three days later and that's that's just about the length of time it takes for sin to come out three days later they said you are lying to us you're these rotten gibeonites that's who you are and they stopped there and they had a little meeting and joshua said the nobles said the elders said well we can't we can't kick them out because we made a we made a covenant with them and joshua said there's a mistake here we've made a mistake here we have made a mistake here in the camp we have made a mistake and joshua said you know what i'm going to let you live among us but you're going to be huwers of wood and you're going to be drawers of water you're going to cut our wood for our altar and you're going to bring our lay you're going to bring our water for our labor can i tell you the mistakes that we make should not cause us to demand our right in god's house but the mistakes we make ought to keep us humble the mistakes we make ought to keep us around the uh do you know why i'm gonna keep on going to the altar do you know why i'm not preaching to the center tonight i'm not preaching to the backslider tonight i'm not preaching to the youth service tonight i'm preaching to the pastors and the evangelists and the missionaries and the people of this organization what ought to drive us to the altar is the mistakes of our life i got to go to the altar that's the fuel when we think we stand take heed you may be seated lest ye fall i've been pastoring the church now for 31 years i wasn't there three months pastoring that church till god almighty sent two men my way one man was a very prominent evangelist at one time his name today would be remembered if i mentioned his name two o'clock in the morning he called our home told me who he was and asked would there be any way possible to meet him at the church 2 30 in the morning i made my way to that little yellow church building on the corner of monroe and mcginley street and there i met this man we turned the lights on in the auditorium and i tried to get him back to the office but he just seemed to be fixed upon the piano we talked for a while and he told me a story he told me how he had preached for this one and that one of which all the names would be remembered but he told me about sin that came in he left his wife he left his family he took up with another woman his ministry was over i began to tell him about the grace of god how that god could restore him god could touch him and refill him with the holy ghost we prayed a little bit around the altar and he he made a motion to the to the piano as if to ask could i sit and play the piano and so help me he sat down at the piano and when his hands struck the keys such a beautiful sound he opened his voice and nashville doesn't have it any better what a friend we have in jesus he's saying for a few moments and actually logged me into a moment of worship when all of a sudden it was disrupted when his hands began to beat the keys and he said why can't i feel god like i once felt god why is it not there why can i feel god it would be a few weeks later i would meet another man who would tell me the same story of his life and it dawned on me at 23 years of age that god had sent to me in my way to tell me who in the world do you think you are kenny ray carpenter you are no different probably the men that came to you in the middle of the night are far more talented and far more versed in the scriptures than you are buddy you better find you an altar and you better get a hold of it and don't you just get a hold of it to find you a sermon you better get a hold of that altar to live right come on men of god and women of god tonight you don't need the altar so you can sing pretty you don't need the altar so you can preach good you need the altar so you can live right i'm going to put my mistake to work for me my mistake will not condemn me my mistake will not draw me back my mistake will be the fuel that keeps me on the altar anybody i hear fall i will not allow it to pull me back i will allow it to push me forward it would be you may be seated it would be the altar of incense was another piece of furniture of which god would say god would say if you don't handle the incense right you will die the altar of incense was that fragrance that filled the tabernacle that was purposed to overcome the smell of the sacrifice the incense was purposed to overcome the flesh the incense was the attitude that was greater than the flesh attitude because if we don't burn incense in our lives and keep the right attitude we can die because we begin to think these are my people and this is my church and i deserve you to come here to this church and i deserve you to teach sunday school and i deserve you to be dedicated to god and i deserve all the things in the birthday card and the new card i deserve a paycheck on sunday i got news for you we don't deserve it and we need to keep an attitude that the men and the women that come into our church they are god's property they're the apple of god's eye they're god's sheep they're god's people and we need to love them you see it is scientifically proven that the power of sin the power of smell triggers memory emotion and attraction noah built an altar and noah offered up a sacrifice to god and the bible said and god smelled a sweet savior the book of philippians chapter 4 and verse number 18 says this but i have all and abound i am full having received of epheroditis the things which were sent from you an odor of a sweet smell a sacrifice acceptable well pleasing to god the problem with us we reach right in and tweezer verses out and we get on that kick and we say look at this verse right here my god shall supply all your need according to his riches and glory but wait a minute you cannot tweezer that verse out verse 19 until you have put verse 18 in you don't get a god that supplies all your needs according to his riches until you're willing to give to somebody else in their time of need am i talking to somebody tonight you can babble my god shall supply your needs all you want to but until you get to the place to where you begin to look around and say paul needs some help paul needs an offer i've got to send it to paul now i'm gonna start telling you my burden now i'm gonna start telling you my burden now god gave me this the other day and if you want to disagree with the interpretation of it just just please be kind to me luke 16 and verse 19 god took me to this the other day and god said this is a parable about my church luke 16 and 19. let's just pray for a moment shall we let's just pray for him how many wants to hear from god tonight how many would you really hear from god tonight we got to move at one time we need to all go home with the vision we need to all go home with the healing come on all over this building all over this building in the name of jesus in the name of jesus in the name of jesus in the name of jesus can i tell you tonight and i am not trying in any form or fashion to belittle any message up to this point but sometimes when we fight things while we preach is because it's a message that deals with our flesh you see we want to hear about a god that's going to see us through we want to hear about a god that's going to heal us that's all well and good i'm taking it home but do we really want to hear about a god that requires something of us you see i don't know i don't know how it is at your church i don't know how it is in your city but i can get people to repent because god is coming down and forgiving them of a lot of a life living sin oh how easy it is to get people in the water because after all every rotten thing you've ever done gets washed away oh i can get them to receive the gift of the holy ghost because after all god's coming in and filling you but it's that third step that we stumble on and that's living holy because at living holy god's not giving me anything i'm giving something back to him i would that you offer your bodies a living sacrifice holy and acceptable unto god now this is going to separate the men from the boys this is going to determine the critical crucial transition of an organization that can go from just just surviving and just making it through i don't want to have an organization that's just making it through i want to have a revival organization i want to have a revival move in our midst and the lord spoke to me you may be seated in the lord said it's a parable of the church luke 16 verse number 19 there was a certain rich man which was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared sumptuously every day and i believe the lord spoke to me and said that's the church of north america are we not rich in opportunity i said are we not rich in opportunity no governments are telling us we can't take our bibles to town no government is telling us that we can't stand on the street corner and preach whatever we want to preach in the name of jesus we've got freedom to come to church we've got freedom to worship god we are rich in resources we are a literal dead sea full of minerals just needing the move of god's spirit there are sunday school teachers here tonight that all that it would take to develop you into a sunday you've got a pastor scratching his head trying to find sunday school teachers and you're right there but it just takes something to be a sunday school teacher or a youth director or an usher or somebody to bowl the yard we are rich brother matthew ball you hear me we are rich we are rich we are rich in material things and we fare sumptuously every day we are the church it says i am rich and increased with goods and have need of nothing but i want my proverbs 13 7. i want my proverbs 13 7. there is he that maketh himself rich yet have nothing and there is he that maketh himself poor yet he had great riches save it all up ma'am save it all up sir hoard it all up pastor can't get all you can and can't all you get let money be your god let money be the thing your security lean on what's in the bank account now depend on what's in the bank account let what drives your emotions up on sunday be how much come into place let what drives your emotions down be what doesn't come in the place and god looks down and says i really can't handle this because what we ought to be looking for we ought to be disturbed when there is no manifestation of god's spirit when there is when there isn't a time in that service when we know beyond the shadow of a doubt that we just had a manifestation of the spirit of almighty god that's what i pray every time we have church lord just one moment come down in this room and give us a manifesto it happened tonight when the choir sang when they started singing what a change what a change what a change we had a moment of a divine encounter with god we are rich north america church you may be seated we are rich in opportunity he said it's a parable and there was a certain beggar named lazarus which was laid at his gate full of sores desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table moreover the dogs came and licked his sores the name lazarus means god's help the man christ jesus jesus is our greatest opportunity ever he comes in the form of a beggar please let me use you he comes as the form of one who says behold i stand at the door and knock he does not intrude in your life he will not knock you down he will not make you praise him he will not make you serve him he will not make you go to church he will not make you start living holy but he will lay at your gate as a beggar and he will say i'm begging you to let me in i'm just begging you assemblies of the lord i'm just begging you all i need is a crumb he doesn't ask for everything we've got he doesn't ask for all that we've got all he would like to see out of me tonight is one that i want a revival when i'm about to give it to you i'm about to give it to you lord that's my crime that i won't revive come on are you willing to give god a crumb tonight there's no need in coming and getting prayed for if you're not willing to give him a crime jesus said in john 14 6 jesus said i am the way the truth and the life no man cometh unto me but by the father unto the father but by me jesus said i am the way there is no going without me he said i am the truth there is no knowing without him he said i am the light there is no showing without him buddha said i have found the way muhammad the founder of islam said i know the way but our savior tonight said i am the way i got news for you we need to give him a crumb in florida we need to give him a crime in the great lakes nebraska needs to give him a crumb tri-state needs to give him a crumb the executive board needs to give him a crumb the youth department needs to give him a crime come on give him a crime tonight he's not asking you to do something you can't do he just wants a crime how about the bald estates can we give him a crime tonight brothers is how about lebanon can we give him a crime tonight brothers are a tron a crime you may be seated at trump he doesn't want all my money he just wants access to it he didn't want isaac he just wanted access to him i gotta take a break from a crab he doesn't want you to give a loaf of running around the building he'd just like have a crumb of two lifted hands he's not wanting you to shout for an hour he'd just like have a crumb of about 15 seconds you may be seated bishop roland baker do you remember there on that park bench in pigeon forge when you took my hand when we discussed money and the funds of needing money i've always had more vision than i've had money one thing about fac of mirabel when the antichrist come he ain't gonna find enough in our chicken account my wife cringes when i say this but they ain't listen ain't nobody gonna fight for money in our church because ain't nothing to fight over bishop roland baker stretched my hand out and when i told him i needed his money we needed to build a new church he stretched my hand down i believe it was a 20 bill and he just kept running that thing through my hand he said leave your hand open leave your hand open he kept running that hand that money through my hand and he said kenny let me tell you something he said god needs open hands and he said if god can find open hands he will send everything through those hands all kind of money through those hands all kind of unbelievable money through those hands unbelievable money through those hands but you got to have the right heart you got to have the right heart see we don't give to get we give as a form of sacrifice and then the fire falls on our sacrifice we're not the cheap charismatic people that give 10 to get 20 we're the people that give a sacrifice to get the fire to fall upon our orders ah i wish somebody helped me to hear we got a move of god in this house he tonight me seated bishop baker kept putting that money through my hand he said see there god's gonna put everything through your hand if you keep it open and then all of a sudden he put some money in my hand he said close your hand i closed it then he got some more money out he said it is true you have what is in your hand but god can never bless a closed hand and he just kept taking that money and bouncing it off he said you've got what you've got you don't have any more and there on that park bench i just had enough faith to believe him and so i opened our hand i forgot about a balance in the checking account that i wanted to keep there i forgot about balances and all of that because i can find that nowhere in scripture and i just begin to sew this way and i begin to sew that way i begin to give to this knee you see sister reinhardt said it right god is looking for people that god doesn't even have to speak to you to give you just automatically find something and give to if you're driving by the lake and see a man drowning do you have to get out and pray three hours to see if god wants you to save him absolutely not when you drive by and see somebody lost you don't have to wonder if it's god's will you stop the car and save them we got a lost world we need to get with it we need to get with it and win this world and thus an unbelievable revival hit our church within six weeks chad erickson came to me within six weeks of our revelation of giving within six weeks of our revelation of giving without an evangelist scheduled within six weeks chad erickson came to me and said we have baptized 60 people the last six weeks since we got the revelation of giving and i'm i'm going to tell you something i'm battling tonight someone it's somebody's spirit saying there he goes again telling about what's going on listen i'm the only one i got to tell listen but my story is my story and you know what i don't believe that spirit is coming out of a cheerful heart tonight i believe it's coming from a miser that doesn't want to be challenged to give i'm glad that since we got the revelation of giving people get the holy ghost on a regular brother atkins but atkins we had you maybe see we had a denominal pastor and his wife came to our church here a few weeks ago and uh they came sit in the back service was over and they got out before i shake their hand met the man the next day in a department store and i said hey man i'm so glad to have you at church last night he said oh we were so thrilled to be there said my wife was giving her prayer language last night i said you should she said what now said yeah while you all were singing the choir was singing and said god gave my wife her prayer language the tongue i said had she ever had the prayer language before he said she had never had it before i said thank you jesus you can call it a prayer language if you want to i call it the baptism of the holy ghost it just falls on us it just falls on us come on assemblies we gotta move now the cloud is moving and we've got to move now somebody shout move now somebody shout move now we've got to move now you see tonight you can either send from your lavish lifestyle you can either sin from your lavish lifestyle dogs the nature of a dog is a sinful nature when jesus lays at our gate begging for a crumb we can either send him the crumb or we can send out the dogs we can make up every reason why we shouldn't give we can remember somewhere back way back then somebody didn't spend the money right they've been doing that in the stock market for years but people still put money in the stock market well that preacher did this or that can i tell you saints have been doing this and that too you can send the dog out after your opportunity on this thursday night you can send the dog out after this opportunity or you can send him a crime which do you want to send him do you want to send him the dogs folks i'm done preaching tonight i'm telling you god's got a hold of my heart right now would you notice something with me would you notice that would you stand with me would you notice something would you stand with me tonight would you please notice with me the order of the deaths the beggar died first then the man died when our opportunity dies it's not long our church dies when the beggar died and can i just surmise here for a moment would one more crumb have kept him alive did he die of starvation do you know why jesus is not in every
