God First in 2022 - Part I | Senior Pastor Kenneth Carpenter

are you ready for the word this morning turn with me to the fourth chapter of the book of genesis the fourth chapter of genesis verses three and four is where we'll begin this morning brother erickson gave thanks to our production team and i joined likewise with him he made mention of our elder brother burkitt 88 eight's the number of starting all over again you're double starting all over again brother burkett and uh it's good today and this is going to take a couple minutes but it's good to have them there's the ender's home right i mean y'all gone too long you're gone too long we love you too much you're gone too long i love them so good to see them back today but i'll tell you one more other department i want to give thanks to this morning is our parking lot attendance you know it's kind of easy to be a parking lot attendant in the fall of the year or the spring of the year but winter is a different case and all of our parking lot attendants that greet us don't you love being greedy with a smile when you come in i mean that just starts setting my tone when that those parking lot attendants are smiling hey give them a hand they're out there freezing this morning would you give them a hand are you ready for the word genesis 4 and 3 and in process of time it came to pass that cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the lord and abel he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof and the lord had respect unto abel and to his offering this second sunday of 2022 this is my subject for today god first in 2022 god first in 2022 lift up your voices with me let's pray over the word father i thank you today for your word i thank you lord jesus that your word is our light your word is our lamp lord for the next few moments god we will be given the privilege and the opportunity to receive an education that can alter our life into the miraculous lord i ask you today god that you would anoint my lips of clay lord that you would touch the ears of all the people those in this room and those that are watching at home lord you know that we have but a little time you know god that we as the church have but a little time i pray that you would just put a shield over us lord god protect us god in this last hour that we may be able to function as the church and do what you called us to do lord i give you praise and honor thank you for the anointing in jesus name we pray amen amen give him a hand to praise before you're seated thank you lord this fourth chapter of genesis this subject today that i have chosen god first god first in 2022. now i don't believe that i have to spend any time at all convincing you this morning that god is first i i believe that that's one as as as it would go that's a that's a a duh question that's a that's a duh statement like duh you know we we all know right we all know that god that god is first i mean that i wouldn't have to really spend any length of time where we're told in isaiah chapter 44 verse number six listen to the god in the old testament listen to god in the old testament isaiah 44 6 thus saith the lord the king of israel and his redeemer the lord of hosts i am the first and i am the last and beside me there is no god all right so god already in the old testament proclaims himself that i am the first and that i am the last and that there is beside me there is no god well time would go on and this same god of isaiah 44 6 would overshadow a virgin girl and from that overshadowing would become the son of god the flesh of god and the son of man the flesh of man after he was crucified resurrected ascended into heaven we have a book called the book of revelation and in the book of revelation this same god of isaiah 44 6 this same god in revelation 1 and verse 11 said i am alpha and omega the first and the last so that's all you get today as far as telling you that god is first just no no reason to go any further how many are just thankful today that you know that god is first and that there is no other god beside him not a second not a third i know all that today but what i'm struggling with and you are too is how do i put god first in my life just because god is first does not automatically mean he's first in my life that's something that i have to place him my responsibility sis carpenter and i were discussing the word the other day and she was talking about the keeping power of god how god can keep us and and and god keeps us and she she was talking about the keeping power of god and as we were discussing the word i said you know i know that god has the keeping power but you do know that he only keeps you if you want to be kept he only keeps you if you want to be kept that's why the apostle jude that's why that he wrote and he made this statement keeping yourselves in the love of god in other words he brings it around and says yes i'm first and yes i'm last but now it's your responsibility to see me as the first and the last and to place me in your life to put me in that place to place me in your life so i i begin to ponder what does it look like what does it look like to put god first and that's where i came up with our text today genesis chapter 4 and verse number one if we can just read that for a moment and adam knew eve his wife now you do realize when we go to genesis chapter 4 sin has entered the human race sin has entered adam and eve are no longer living in eden they're no longer living in the garden they're living under a curse they're living under this curse that sin brought but now notice this with me our god would not let them go from the garden with only a curse he gave them a promise he gave them a promise as a matter of fact as you're reading through the new testament you read the first day you read matthew 1 1 where jesus christ is identified from the lineage of abraham and from the lineage of david those two the lineage of abraham and the lineage of david and and they're they're wonderful to look at they're they they are wonderful to look at this morning they're wonderful to look at because the lineage of abraham sister franklin is a promise god made a promise to abraham so when it says that jesus christ came out of a promise it's talking about the promise that god made abraham then it says that jesus christ is made of the seed of david he came out of the lineage of david what does david represent david represents that even though a man has fallen god is able to take that which is fallen and broken and god god is able to change and god is able i'm glad today that jesus christ has both the lineage of abraham that promise and the lineage of david today so sin has entered the human race man is living under a curse but god would not allow them to leave the garden without making a promise to them god made a promise to them and the promise was eve you're going to produce a seed and an offspring and this offspring is going to crush the head of the serpent the source of sin the one that lied to you the one that deceived you the one that you believed had this this great life he's going to crush this and it's going to be a return back and so now we we enter adam and eve's life and we we enter in verse number one of chapter four and adam knew eve his wife she conceived and bear cain and said i have gotten a man from the lord what she's thinking she's thinking oh praise god the savior is here oh the one that's going to crush the head of the serpent and reverse the curse the curse is going to be reversed and we're going to go back into eden we're going to go back into the lifestyle that we had before we sin and she simply believes that cain is the fulfillment of that promise verse two and she again bear his brother abel and abel was a keeper of sheep but cain was a tiller of the ground now you'll notice something with me when abel is born she makes no statement about his life she she makes no she makes no statement she just gives birth to abel and calls his name abel there's no statement because she's believing that everything is going to be fulfilled the reverse of the curse is going to be fulfilled and came the interesting thing here it's really not it's really not on my subject today but you know evolution tells us obviously that that uh there was a cosmic collision of some kind and and and somehow there was a form of life a sail a tadpole a frog you know what i'm talking about the monkey and it just goes all the way up uh the the neanderthal man the caveman uh you know big club dragging the wife by the head of her hair uh you know well that's what they teach you right right and that slowly man evolved and and and slowly over thousands of years over thousands of years man evolved and began to see how to plant a seed in the ground and how to do this and corn came up and all this well this totally this verse here totally erases all of that nonsense all right because it says very early in the human race it says it says um she she bear his brother abel abel was a keeper of sheep so now abel evidently becomes a herdsman he knows about sheep and how to take care of sheep but cain was a tiller of the ground he was a farmer he knew oh he knew already about seed and planting and harvest and all of this none of this neanderthal junk none of this they were amazing when god created adam he was the most brilliant intelligent man to ever be he was he was he was created with god inside of him he knew how to name animals he was he would he would simply make the einsteins of this age is simply make them pale in comparison to the brilliance that abraham had now evolution tells you man started out very ignorant and worked his way to intelligence but it's actually the opposite we started out with our intelligence but when sin entered the human race we went into ignorance isn't god good to us today god is so good don't believe that stuff you read we got the best youth group in all the world don't don't but you go to college don't you know learn other things but don't just that's foolishness just kind of sit there in your mind and just think yeah i'll get me a diploma one day and get out of here you know so just let's do that a farmer and a herdsman look at verse three with me for a moment and in process of time that's an interesting verse there it's almost as if i'm setting up the subject to tell you that time has went by how much time we don't know but it's just the process of time went by and it came to pass that cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto look at that last phrase unto the lord now now stay with me for a moment i'm gonna probably in a teaching gear here for a little bit he brought his offering which was the fruit of the ground and where did he bring it would you help me where did he bring it to unto the lord now as i studied this phrase it intrigued me it intrigued me where was that at where was that space at i know he's got real fruit real fruit in his hands where was that space where did that happen at where did that happen well i've got something i'd like to introduce to you as a is a just a thought of mine just a thought all right would you just say that with me today just a thought just default you know we travel our highways and along our highways we'll see a cross or we'll see flowers along the interstates you know what that means that means some loved one lost their life there that's where that's where the car wreck that's where the car wreck happened and they they lost their life a little bouquet of flowers a little cross now when sister carpenter and i were in chile a few months ago and uh we were traveling down the interstate with brother salinas um i mean we came up on um little little house-like things on the side of the road little little sheds little you know it looked like it it it it just a little little miniature house looking and it had would have uh shiny paper on it or flowers or whatever and it was very large uh maybe maybe four by four you know maybe maybe five feet tall and so as we we saw several of these i i asked because i was thinking in my mind i wonder if that's where someone had a car wreck or or or some you know someone lost their life sure enough when i asked for salinas i asked us he sure enough said yes someone lost they they lost their lives they lost their life there someone was killed there and and and and on and on and my whole point in saying that is i wonder in my mind unto the lord where was the last place you go there because that's the last place your loved one was alive you go there or or maybe you go to the grave because that's the last place you walk with them i wonder where the last place in the mind of adam and eve came in abel where was the last place that came that adam and eve could tell their sons god was right here god was right here that that last place is where god took adam and eve and ushered them out of the garden of eden he uh he ushered them out the the last time they possibly felt god was his was his weight of his spirit pushing them out of the garden of eden because what what did god say he says and now lest that man would take of the tree of life and eat and live forever there's a tree in this garden that produces life there's a tree here that produces life and man would go and in his sin man would go and eat of this tree and what would that produce that would produce a person that would live their life in sin and so god forbid that god would not allow that and so god ushered adam and eve out of the garden and when he got him out of the garden he then placed ordered brought down from heaven to angels two angels which are cherubims and their job there he placed in their hand flaming swords that turned in every direction to protect the way of the tree of life so we have a tree cherubims protecting the tree so that no man would come and eat of that tree now i believe today that that unto the lord was right in the presence of the cherubims because if you wanted to give something unto the lord where would you go if you wanted to pay tribute to a loved one that's dead where would you go you would go to the to the grave you would go to that site and if you wanted to worship god in bringing an offering where would you go i believe with all my heart they went to that spot just before the cherubims because that was the unto the lord in their life and there they gave their offering there they laid it down it really makes sense to me i i know it's not a heaven or hell issue but i really believe that's where they went back to because that's where mom and dad said that's the last time we felt the arms of god even though god was angry with us cain and abel god gave us a promise he is a god of wrath but oh he's also a god of promise if you'll rely you'll respond to him in the right way he doesn't have to be a god of wrath he can be a god of love a god of understanding so i believe it was there where they went unto the lord it's interesting to note before i go on it's interesting to note that when god would give the directions and the instructions and the blueprints for the tabernacle the ark of the covenant represented where god himself the life giver the the the one that came to give us life and more abundantly the life-giver would dwell where he didn't say i'll dwell above the altar he didn't say i'll dwell among the above the labor he didn't say i i'll dwell among the candlesticks or among the shoe bread or among the incense where did he say i will dwell i will dwell above the mercy seat but there's something interesting god dwelt in that room that our tree of life our tree of life was in that room our tree of life was there and then there was a thing called the veil and it's amazing what did god order to be embroidered on the veil you got it cherubums what was over the ark of the covenant cherubims isn't it amazing that the blueprint was in the garden of eden you have a tree of life you have cherubims and you have a worshiper and the worshipper can only go as far as the cherubims because if they go any further the sword will cut them down until the time came of our promised redeemer our first and our last that became flesh man might have brought a lot of offerings to that to that gate of the garden of eden but they knew they could go no further or they would be cut down but praise be to our god this morning whose name is jesus christ name above all other names he became flesh hung on a cross and he went up and he stood to those cherubs and those cherubs cut him down in death they laid him in a tomb but three days later our god showed up on the other side of the cherubims to give us that life and that life more abundantly could you just praise him that's what he did our first our first and our last that's why we worship at church oh we can worship other places please do please do but oh there's nothing like coming to a place that's unto the lord so until i can worship in my car that's right your car is made for a multiplicity of purposes to take you to work to take you to vacation to take you to the grocery store but can i tell you what this house is made for one purpose it's made for the first and it's made for the last and when i come here on my sundays and my wednesdays or any other time they announce i want you to know we're bringing an offering unto unto the lord we're bringing that offering in the process of time in the process please excuse me maybe i got off my subject for a few moments but in the process of time cain brought an offering abel brought an offering how did they know to bring an offering well the answer is simple god showed adam the sacrifice god showed adam how to sacrifice and when god shows adam the father of cain and abel good fathers always show their children how to worship good fathers stop feeling sorry for yourself because you don't make a certain wage that can provide a certain level for your children give them the ultimate gift give them the father give them a father that can say let me show you how you worship son let me let me show you how let me show you how this is done let me let me show you let me show you how to worship so god and adam is called the son of god adam is called the son of god so god the father of creation showed adam his son this is how this is what it's going to take now that you've sinned it's going to take the life of an animal it's going to take blood you get the covering you get the skins to cover you but the blood belongs to me and god showed adam and like a good father adam teaches his son on the outside of eden adam teaches his sons this is how we worship we we bring an animal and we we we sacrifice the animal this is this is how we we sacrifice this animal and we bring this animal we bring this sacrifice and doesn't this fit into typology we sacrifice this animal and where do we bring him we bring the animal unto the lord where is it at it's in front of the cherubims that are guarding the way of the tree of life we bring it there but the bible says in the process of time listen technology has changed the way that we live technology has changed our lives but technology cannot change one thing how we worship they'll never make an iphone that can take my worship now i've seen an iphone take worship away they'll never make modern convenience they'll never make technology that can take my worship they can listen they can make a watch they can make a watch they can tell me how many heartbeats i have right now they can take a watch that at the end of the day mother xender can tell me exactly how many steps i took or should have taken all right they can make a watch that can tell me you're doing good you're doing good your exercise you you listen you've already completed your your ring of exercise or they can make a watch that says time to move stand up but i want you to know that they'll never make a watch that can entail the condition of your heart because there's some things that just never change in the process of time something had to happen cain had to become enamored with his own works cain become enamored with his yellow corn and red tomatoes cain became enamored with what he was growing and he decided one day in the process of time don't change church don't change what your fathers have taught you is worship don't change brothers and didn't know what i was going to teach on today thank you for giving honor to our elders today thank you for giving honor to our elders today they've taught us how to worship they've taught us they've got the testimony we've got the testimony i'm always going to serve the lord no matter what they've got the testimony what's have come and they still are serving god would you give another hand to our elders this morning in the process in the process of time something had to happen with cain he had to start thinking he had to start comparing because after all watch this now after all in order for me to worship i have to have interaction with my brother if god requires an animal if god requires blood i raise crop and in order for me to worship i've got to interact with my brother and i tell you that's where the enemy a lot of times deceives us to tell us we don't really need each other we do need each other oh magnify the lord with let exalt his name together jesus said where two or three are gathered together in my name what happens there am i so so please understand today don't ever buy into the tech don't ever buy into the thing you don't need your brother you need your brother he had to take a bushel of corn or or or red tomatoes or whatever and please if if corn didn't grow there just don't please don't get sidetracked on i'm just using corn cantaloupe uh whatever i'm just using it all right so he had to take a bushel of this somebody said apples didn't grow in the garden of eden it doesn't say it was an apple you need to get your mind off of the apple and get it on the pear that was on the ground that was the real trouble all right so cain had to go over brother erickson and take a bushel of potatoes and take a bushel or whatever brother abel it's time to worship again and i got two bushels of potatoes how about a lamb i got three bushels of corn how about a lamb oh yes i i need corn honey isn't it isn't it amazing how cain and abel's life was hinging on each other cain needed abel because abel was a herdsman and abel needed cain for the fruit the vegetables and so they were we need each other we need each other and so but in the process of time the process of time somehow another came begin to think do i really have to bring do i really have to bring after all let me talk to our youth for a moment after all after all look at this look at this look how beautiful my corn is look how beautiful my my tomatoes are look look how orange and red and look at these counter look look how look how aesthetically look man look at this god wouldn't want this i mean look at what we have to do we have to take a young animal we have to take a young animal we have to take a knife it's ugly work there's blood spurting out and and there's an animal that's crying and and there's an animal that's crying and and and and blood is going everywhere and i have to take a bath most of the time after i sacrifice and and the blood draws flies and oh oh this is just an ugly really get to thinking what would god want more look at my beautiful fruit basket would not god want this can i tell you today let's never start telling god what he wants when i go to a restaurant lord i hope there's nobody here when i go to that restaurant brother perdue i like to order what i want to order i know you can sit there and say oh no i'm going to tell you you ought to have the liver you they got the best chopped liver you let me go ahead and order no don't don't order me liver because i am going to baptize it in mustard all right oh you ought to have the best they have the best rainbow trout and all this good good wonderful you order it but you brought me here and i want the fried chicken all right now can i get a witness now you tell where this church is at i talk about fruit now not one a man talk about fried chicken about gonna have to make you be seated here in a moment why don't we stop telling god what he wants and why don't we just read her book and show god and give god what he's asked for well i just don't do that hand waving i just don't do that shouting stuff i'm just not into that i i think god understands my moments about why don't you just try opening your mouth and giving god a verbal praise just just loud enough that you can hear him just loud enough that you can hear yourself praising oh it becomes a siphoning it just all of a sudden if i praise him loud enough oh glory to god oh thank you jesus oh magnify him i worship you i praise you oh let me travel on look at this fruit here the process of time he brought the fruit and he laid it there and abel abel slit the throat of his animal washed his feet wiped a few spots of blood from his cheek and laid that sacrificed animal out but it was just no ordinary animal it was just no ordinary animal would you go back to genesis chapter four and verse number four it was no ordinary animal it was an animal it was an ordinary animal and an abel he also brought of the follow this he also brought of the what firstly what does it look like to put god first adam abel he didn't bring any he didn't bring any goat he didn't bring any lamb he brought the first link he said god you're first in my life now you will notice that it didn't it did not say about cain that he brought the first fruits it just simply says he brought the fruits he just brought of the fruit of the ground an offering doesn't even say it's first and i i really believe the the significance is there it's because god is not first in his life god is not first god god is first but he's not first in my life because how you know god is first in your life is not the knowledge that he is first it's the knowledge of how you worship him can i ask you when trouble comes is god the first that you call can i ask you that when you have circumstances and situations arise in your life that you don't know the direction who do you reach to first is is god the spare tire in the trunk is god what works when everything else is failed if that be the case then i can tell you right here and right now that he's not the first he's not the first it's interesting the bible says that god had no respect to cain and god had no respect he had no respect to cain and god respected abel now you just have to fill in the blanks there you just have to fill in the blanks respect has to do with how you treat someone right there's an outward sign of how you show someone respect there's ways that you can outwardly respect this great nation and there's ways that you can outwardly disrespect this great nation there's ways that you can show respect to your wife your husband your children and there are ways that you can show disrespect there are ways you can show respect to god there's ways that you can show disrespect to god do you know i believe that how we determine what that means and god had respect unto abel in his offerings but under cain he had no respect it's how god treated them later you will know in life if you're tre if you're putting god first for how god treats you if you truly put god first in your life you're going to have god's favor in your life i'm not saying that things will go won't go wrong i won't say i'm not saying you won't have obstacles but as a whole you'll feel the wind of god's favor in your life you'll feel the winds of god's favor you'll feel the winds of god's favor in your life and if you don't put god first nothing ever works out for you you almost got that job you almost got that break you were looking for you almost met that right person you almost your life is just filled with a bunch of almost almost it's because you're not putting god first in your life when you put god first in your life you feel the wind of favor you feel the wind of blessing in your life god had no respect to cain but he did to abel now even though that cain did not bring god the proper sacrifice god wasn't finished because god is a god of love and mercy and so god says to cain why are you wroth why is your countenance fallen do you know that physically you can tell people that are not putting god first it has to do with their emotions and it has to do with their countenance because when you don't put god first you have to make way for yourself and life is too difficult to go it alone don't try to climb the mountain without him and where he first starts with us emotionally emotionally he is joy unspeakable and full of glory happy when you cannot explain it people look at you and wonder why are you so happy how do you always have a smile can i tell you if you've ever been asked how is it you're always smiling how is it you're always happy can i tell you what the world is first looked at the car you drive the house you live in the clothes you wear all the things materialistic about your life and they'll write you off they'll never ask you that question as long as you have a car they would be happy to drive or clothes they would be happy to wear but when you have none of the above the world looks at you and says what makes you so happy i'll tell you what makes me happy is putting god first that's what makes me happy this morning what's going to make me happy for the rest of the day when i lay my head to rest at night is i've been to the house of the lord today and i've given the lord praise and honor and glory it's going to make me happy could you praise him with me right now cain why are you angry why are you angry and why is your countenance fall there you know what you know why we have all this rage in our world today you know why we have all this violence in our world today oh yeah it's this and that can i just tell you let's go to the root of the problem the root of the problem is humanity as a whole does not put god first so if you don't put god first if you don't put god first who do you put first that's why people are in graveyards today over fighting over a parking spot at walmart i tell you friday night matter of fact god hears my wife's prayer all during vacation she she would say oh if we just had one more night oh kenny if we just had one more dad i just love to have one more night down here we get to the airport friday night to fly out they cancel our flight we have one more night she gets her prayers answered but as we was driving from the airport she needed to take some medicine and just stop get some water and i found this uh florida they have a they don't have weigles in florida they have wawa am i saying that right hey wawa so i pulled into a wawa in and to get a dwinky dink uh and my wife says honey this doesn't like look like a good part of town this doesn't look safe and oh i said no it's it's it's a wawa all right and so i go in and there's kind of a long line and there's a man buying some scratch-off deals you know the uh scratch-off um yeah what y'all been doing yeah caught you on that one didn't i and and and this this person's up here buying these scratch off and in my mind you know i was you know i was wishing yeah i always wish that they'd make legislation to have a line just for scratch-off people you know just but they don't some standing there and the man getting the scratch off rather large man the man standing behind him starts mouthing with him and then they start getting angry and they start cussing and it's really cussing well it's all cussing but and then you come outside and i'm standing there thinking we're gonna have a shooting here at wawa and i'm standing there and and so i don't know what made me i just kind of wanted because i was behind the man that they were fighting and so i just kind of turned around to the man behind me i smiled he said he said man that's crazy what's going on there i guess i don't know i i know he said you know somebody's gonna go to jail tonight or somebody somebody may go to the graveyard tonight you know over us just a little scratch off just just a little way and i mean out into the parking lot they went it was just it was it was it was crazy but to think you would get that upset you know why they get upset over the parking lot do you know why road rage is such a big thing do you know why they did in our in our factories our jobs that they have to have security when they when they fire someone is because somebody may come back in with a gun and shoot people what is the reason for that you've not put god first and when you don't put god first who do you put first you put yourself and then life is so miserable because you live your life looking out for you you you think oh me need a wife me need a wife and so you get a wife and then you discover that life is not just about you anymore it's about you and your wife come on cain if you'll just do well i'll accept you you know the bible says and i uh musicians would you come and the bible says two things about cain it says one thing about cain and one thing about abel in the new testament in the book of jude chapter 1 verse number 11 it says woe unto them for they have gone in the way of cain the way of cain this way of saying god this is what you get this way of saying god this is how we see that's why you have all these different denominations today it's because it's all their way this is how this is the way we worship this is the way that we do it here when we ought to be saying god you're first god you're first if you want hand clapping god you're going to get hand clapping if you want a church of noise i want you to know you're going to get a church of noise if you want if you want us to dance before you somebody is going to dance and somebody's going to praise god that's what god wants well i don't understand that tongue speaking you don't have to just do it brother ornoni if if i've been in if i've been informed of this story wrong i will apologize to you and i'll tell you who told me the story all right but i heard that brother arnone their son jensen was driving down the road the other day those of you know jensen jensen talks from the time he gets up to the time he goes to bed all right jensen's a i think i hear a school teacher somebody said that's right that's that's right well jensen's a miracle baby jensen's a little baby that god gave them they called jensen their miracle baby matter of fact jensen even knows that he's a miracle baby he was just chattering away in the story that i was told he kept talking and talking talking to his daddy and brother arnone said jensen can you just be quiet and jensen said i'm just your miracle baby just your miracle baby you know some folks want a god of miracles but they don't want to say they want to be able to say i've got a god that's a miraculous god but they like him to keep silent they just they don't like any disturb god can i tell you today i'm going to praise you this morning i'm going because i'm your miracle baby i'm not supposed to be here i'm not supposed to be here today i'm supposed to be in a devil's hell i'm supposed to be in a sinner's grave i'm not supposed to be here today i'm going to make some noise to him would you stand with me right now faith by faith hebrews 11 4 by faith abel offered unto god a more excellent sacrifice than cain by which he obtained witness that he was righteous god testifying of his gifts and by it he and by it he being dead yet speaking hey some of you in this room today you don't know what brought you here you don't know why you just all of a sudden got a desire to start coming to church i can tell you what it is you may have a grandmother a grandfather a great-grandmother grandfather that's somewhere in a cemetery but although their body is dead their prayers are still alive and their prayers are still minister that that told him several things in his life and nolan shared it with me and i so love it but one of the things the minister said to him he said i pray that god will make me sensitive of when he is working on someone around me i pray that god will make me sensitive to those that god is working with and god begins on the inside god begins on the inside would you like to have that myself or somebody from a pastoral team during the altar service because to really be biblical we should not call for the sick the sick to really be biblical the sick should call for the elder all right that's a biblical thing and so during a time of the altar like this you see one of our elders or someone from the pastoral team just ask them i'm sick in my body i'm sick in my body and i want
