would you stand with me today god has been so good to us the book of um zachariah the book of zachariah chapter number two verse number five man what's singing today what's singing today that we heard and just praising god and we've got the victory and we win and who knew this baby boy zechariah 2 and 5 for i saith the lord will be unto her a wall of fire round about and will be the glory in the midst of her ho ho come forth and flee from the land of the north saith the lord for i have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven saith the lord the book of esther chapter three and verse number one somebody say praise the lord esther chapter three and verse number one after these things did hazarius promote haman the son of ham medetha the a guide a guide and advanced him and set his seat above all the princes that were with him last verse of scripture esther 7 and 10. so they hanged haman on the gallows that he had prepared for mortice then was the king's wrath pacified so they hanged haman father today i ask you lord to anoint my lips of clay that i would preach your word that your word would give us instruction that your word would give us inspiration god to those that are lost your word would instruct us today to the path of salvation to those of us god that need to be inspired and encouraged in the midst of the world of which we now live that this message today would serve as a source of inspiration to someone today because god you have given us and you will give us the victory in jesus mighty name we pray amen amen jesus name you may be seated thank you what a great crowd here today i've not made mention of that yet but what a great what a great crowd of people that have come today to worship the lord now let me just share with you just for a moment let me just share with you just for a moment how this preaching thing works okay um obviously god calls you to preach um you know i do know of those that have been daddy called and mama sent but you you don't go anywhere that way all right god calls you to preach and um it it and then god gives you messages and there's times that god gives you a message brother knuckles and god gives you the spirit of the message there will be times that it you're preaching on the coming of the lord and god will put an urgent spirit the man will preach the coming of the lord with an urgency of spirit you'll almost feel his heartbeat and he's urgent about it he'll he'll uh he'll he'll preach on he'll preach on certain subjects and his spirit will match because many times god not only gives you this the message to preach but then god will move you and give you the spirit of which of which to preach that message there have been times that i have been very very serious and very burdened because that was the spirit that god gave me there are times that i have been very very light-hearted and and once again you go home and and you realize that that's what god gave you for that morning or that evening god gave you a message and that message was to be delivered in a a lighthearted manner because even our bible says that a merry heart doeth good like a medicine all right and so uh with this message that the lord gave me today i i will tell you it is a message of victory it is a message of joy and uh it's going to be revealed in my title all right even my title i read i read from zechariah 2 6 where it said ho ho come forth and flee unto the land of the north and then i i read about haman being promoted and then i read about haman being hanged so for a few moments today i want to minister to it on this subject ho ho haman is hung ho ho ho in case anybody wants to close it down say you're using non-biblical words the word ho is in the bible and as i studied the word whole it means a gesture as you're presenting something as if you're going to present something to someone uh it is it is whole or here i'm going to i'm going to present something to you and so god set the church on fire in zachariah zechariah he set the church on fire and he said i'll be a fire round about her and i'll be the glory in the midst of her and then verse six he said ho ho he said look here i'm going to show you i want to show you the church is what i want to show you well i begin i want to present to us haman today ho ho ho haman is hung the music went with my message today i didn't even talk about it brother eric said i didn't even get with the uh i didn't even get with sister erickson tell her i i want music of victory i want music of this it seemed like the holy ghost just put it two together and and uh we begin to sing the song we win we win in the name of jesus we win listed a long list of things that people struggle with we win in the name of jesus and on and on and we understand that haman came along god had his people in the midst of this wicked culture this wicked persian culture god had his people in the midst of that culture in the midst of that culture as we studied wednesday night in the midst of that culture god had a man by the name of mordechai and his niece esther we know that as we talked wednesday night that esther being just a common maiden just an unknown maiden jewish girl now her residence is in the palace she is now queen to king hazarius but then in chapter 3 of esther it turns the corner and something happens and i'd like to begin reading at chapter three in verse number one after these things after these things after the placement after the placement of esther after these things did king hazarius promote haman the son of hemiatha the eggite and advanced his seat above all the princes that were before him now haman is a very wicked man he's godless he's wicked he's prideful he thinks of no one but his self he's a power monger he wants everyone to honor him he wants to be number one we understand in scripture proverbs 29 and 2 says when the righteous are in authority the people rejoice but when the wicked beareth rule the people mourn look at the paradox there when the righteous are leading it causes the people to rejoice but let the wicked begin to rule and have it say and the bible says that the people begin to mourn and so when haman came to power the jews the jewish people were placed under a very heavy burden you'll find it as we read on in chapter 3 and verse 2 and all the king's servants that were in the king's gate bowed and reverenced haman for the king had so commanded concerning him but mordecai bowed not nor did him reverence then the king's servants which were in the king's gate said unto mordecai why transgressive thou the king's commandment now it came to pass when they spake daily unto him he hearkened not and he hearken not unto them that they told haman to see whether mordecai's matters would stand for he had told them that he was a jew now it's interesting today and i think we see something here that the king had to make a decree for the people to give haman respect the king had to make it a law had to make it a decree that haman would get respect you see haman is of the world and not of the people of god because we the people of god understand that respect isn't demanded respect is earned respect isn't something you can demand someone give you respect you earn respect but not haman haman is very wicked so the king has to make a law that everyone would reverence him but you see there was a man in the kingdom like there's a church in the world that did not give heed to this law he did not bow to haman and we understand that the men around haman or the men that were surrounding haman that they came to mordecai and they said why is it that you don't act the same way that we act when wicked haman comes by why is it that you're different why is it when we are bowing to wickedness and wicked haman how is it that you're not and the simple explanation is he told them that he was a jew you know sometimes our behavior can be explained in one sentence we are christians sometimes our behavior is explained and just simply a phrase we're apostolic why do you do this and why don't you do that and why do you act this way and why do you have this and why do you play the music and why do your people shout the way that they shout and all of this and it simply is in a phrase we are christians and we are apostolic and so he just simply told them that he was a jew the bible says in verse 5 of chapter 3 when haman saw that mordecai bowed not nor did him reverence then was haman full of wrath let me explain something to you the devil will never be content to have the majority of your family the devil will never be content to have 99 of your family he will not let up until he has all your family think about haman brother nolan thousands of men and women laid down face first in the road when he drove his chariot by thousands of people remember wednesday night i told you how large that kingdom was it took 180 days to show all the wealth it stretched from india to ethiopia it was a large kingdom of 127 what we would know as states it was a very powerful and and yet this haman got discombobulated and full of wrath because one jew would not bow down to him one jew would not give him reverence and again i want to make my statement the enemy will not be content to have 99 of your family he won't stop until he has all of you haman represents wickedness he's not going to stop until it's everyone that is bowed down well it's interesting you would just turn over with me not only to esther chapter 5 and verse number 9 and 10 not only would haman not bow down before him but the bible says in esther 5 and 9 then haman went forth that day joyful and with a glad heart but haman saw mordecai but when haman saw mordecai in the gate that he stood not up nor moved for him he was full of indignation against mordecai look at that not only would mordecai not only would he bow when haman came down the road but if mordecai had his spot in the gate and everybody said move out of the way here comes haman here stood monica i he wouldn't even move out of the way for the wickedness i can't help but make the spiritual analogy for the church of the living god this morning that we are in this world a mordecai we have an esther sitting beside the king we are in this godless world the jews we are the spiritual people of god the church of the living god today and we're right in the midst of this culture you say well if god loved us why would we be here because we are the opportunity and the light for this world the bible says you are the light of the world we are the hope of the world and to the world we must stand firm strong tower we must stand firm in this world i know that you are a minority but don't allow the haman to cause you to join his majority don't allow the world to make you fit into them be a mordecai this morning and stand up when the world is bowing to godliness i need some strong tower students that will say i'll stand up for righteousness when the world is bowing at the altars of entertainment and the altars of materialism give me a church that'll stand up and say give me jesus and let the world go by not only will we not bend but we will not move ourselves out of the way now turn back with me to esther chapter three and verse number six mo and haman fought scorn to lay hands on mordecai alone for they had showed him the people of mordecai when haman saw and then haman wherefore haman sought to destroy all the jews that were throughout the whole kingdom of the hazarius even the people of mordecai now there's something interesting that we have to study out here is haman's family lineage haman was a descendant of the amalekites he was a direct descendant of the amalekites what is to be remembered about them it was the amalekites who actually were descendants of esau esau was known for being someone who would not pay the full price for worship it was esau that was angry it was esau that that gave up the birthright it was esau that saw and did not appreciate the the birthright that he had and therefore he became edom and down the family line the amalekites were born we understand one thing about edom is when the children of israel were coming out of egyptian bondage that moses requested from edom a brother passageway to get to canaanland and we read in our bibles where esau edom amalek refused to give the people of god passage through the land although moses said we won't drink any water we won't take any crops we will pass through and take nothing all we want is to go through edom still stood resistant against the people of god but that wasn't enough the bible records the fact that among the tribes as they traveled on the fringe of the tribes of israel were the weak and the feeble those who could not march at a certain pace they lagged behind they were a part of the delivered people of god but because they were weak and feeble they were not able to keep pace with them so they kindly had a space between them and we understand that amalek came out and amalek attacked israel among the weak and the feeble that's where we get the story where moses went up to the top of the hill and sat down on a rock and they lifted up his hands and as long as moses's hands were lifted up israel defeated the amalekites but when moses's hands would be weary the amalekites would begin to defeat the people but they kept their hands they kept his hands lifted until the victory had been finished and then later god wanted to annihilate god wanted to erase amalek he wanted to totally erase amalek from from the land he didn't want his people any longer being attacked by the amalekites and so god told saul israel's first king god told saul to go and utterly destroy all of the amalekites you know the story with me saul did not utterly destroy all the amalekites he kept certain of them alive and we understand that 99 victory is not 100 victory and because saul did not completely obey the lord that's why you need to completely obey what god has asked you to do don't just halfway or almost you know almost ends always out don't almost get in the church don't don't almost become you need to you need to all together get all together be in and we understand that as saul lay there on the battlefield as he tried to commit suicide fall on his own sword but his life was still in him and he didn't want the philistines to abuse him that a young man happened upon him and he asked the young man to finish his life but before he did he asked the young man his identity and the young man said to him i am an amalekite i i think that that probably echoed through the chambers of saul so when he looked up and that the one that was going to finish him off wasn't was an amalekite so we understand that because of what saul failed to do that now now mordecai and now esther are facing a descendant of amalekite he's facing haman who is a descendant and let me tell you very clear i'll keep saying it over and over and over again the devil will not be the devil will not be content until this church is shut down you say how long are we going to fight the enemy we're going to fight the enemy as long as one person is standing for him if the devil had his way he would make a bar room out of this place right now if the enemy had his way he had turned this into anything but the gates of zion he'd turn it into anything from a place to where they come and sing about the name that's above every name so we got to understand something today that the enemy is going to try to erase our our presence from the house of god because if the enemy erases our presence he erases the plan that god has for each and every one of us oh what an exciting time it is to be a child of god because god not only has a plan for one or two that's in this room today but god has a plan for all of us today and that plan doesn't begin when you're 18 and in when you're 62 that plan doesn't begin when you've got talent and in when you feel you're no longer a service to the community from the time that you open your mouth and breathe your first breath until the day that you lay down and draw your last breath almighty god has a plan for your life it would be haman's good pleasure to get you fixated on what's happening right now in your life and cause you to throw in the towel and to give it up but somehow there is a mordecai that's saying today don't give up on the plan there's another day coming there's another opportunity coming the sun hear me please today the sun is going to shine again things are going to turn around again you just need to keep standing and don't give in should we give him a praise offering right now if you believe it with me today would you give him a praise offering right now victory is mine victory is mine i wish somebody would shout amen haman's haman's haman's goal is to erase not only mordecai but i want to erase all i want i want to erase all of the jews and so in chapter 3 and verse number 7 in the first month that is the month of nisan in the 12th day of prep year of king hazarius they cast per that is lot before haman from day to day from month to month on the 12th month that is the month of adar now here's what they did they were very haman is very really he's very superstitious all right he plays with ouija boards he plays with tarot cards he's trying to get the the stars to tell him when's a good time when's a good time to attack these jews when's a good time to go into the presence of the king and ask permission to annihilate these jews when is a good time so they're they're they're playing with all kinds of occult things the stars they're casting lots but it's interesting to note that they start their plans in verse number seven in the month of nisan you could not have picked a worst month to pick on the people of god so how is that it was the month of nisan that they begin to celebrate their deliverance from egypt it was in the month of nisan that they begin to celebrate that they once were slaves but now they're saints it was in the month of nisan that they once reminisced about onions and leeks and whips and now they're in the land that flows with milk and honey can i tell you that the enemy has picked a bad time to mess with god's people because we don't have one day out of the year that we celebrate deliverance every day is a day of deliverance for the people of god every day we wake up and say god i thank you that i once was in egypt but now i'm in the church of the living god every day so mr haman you picked a bad month to start messing with the church come on you picked a bad monk to mess with me you picked a bad day to try to rattle my cage let me tell you try to mess around with my marriage i'll grab my wife's hand and run to the altar and begin to pray you start messing with my children put a spirit of laodicea upon them i'll make sure they're in the altar i'll make sure he's listen devil you start messing with me i'll pop a five-day fast on you so quick it'll make your head spin you start messing around with me i'll give god some praise i'll give god some honor because you just picked a bad time haman you just picked a bad time somebody ought to get somebody ought to get riled up this morning some of you that's fighting hell get your thumb out of your mouth and get your hands up and begin to talk to hell you picked a sorry time to fight with me granny granny lived on a hill during the civil war and granny heard tell that the yankees were coming and granny grabbed a broom and it was 500 soldiers coming up the hill to granny's house and granny grabbed a broom when sons laid their shotguns down granny grabbed the broom and she went out swinging it from left to right and they said granny you'll never defeat all them men she said i may not but said at least they'll know whose side i'm on can i tell you what i may not get my victory this morning but the devil's going to know whose side i'm on today the devil is not all-knowing and he may interpret your silence that you're thinking about leaving but i wish somebody grabbed their broom today and start swinging it to the left and the right because there's one thing i want him to know i want him to know whose side i'm on today i'm on the lord's side this morning i want him to know who's sought come on now come on now don't you want him to know whose side you're on this morning you picked a bad month heyman you picked a bad month to mess with us because we're down here eating a passover lamb you picked a bad month to pick on us because we're back down here thinking about how far god has brought us from so he goes the king of hazaris and i just for time such i can't read the dog just for time's sake he went to king hazarius and he slandered god's people he slandered them that's how he got permission to annihilate them on a certain date on a certain date now they were casting this this religious this superstitious ouija board tarot card they were they were casting lots to see what month and do you know do you know that god gave israel a whole year the bible does say in proverbs the casting of the lot is of man but god basically has the final say he said you can cast lots all you want to but i'm going to give my people time you're not going to cast a lot and you're going to you're going to attack them next week god said no your lot's going to fall on they're going to have a whole year to get ready for you you're not going to catch my people off guard they're going to have a whole year so so haman goes into king of hazarius and he says there's this group of people jews he slanders them now you've got to understand at the time esther has not told azaria's the king she's a jew he knows nothing about that connection haman's standing there and he says they don't obey your laws they're diverse he says a matter of fact i will even finance and he mentions a large sum of money he says it'd be a large sum of money that i can get that i will personally finance the annihilation of these people can i tell you today stop saying money's power oh we don't have any power against that oh i don't have power that's money money's power no no no money's no match now i know that's a i know some of you think i don't know if i believe that or not you don't believe that because you don't truly believe this god is more powerful so i'll even finance it so the king signed off on it a year from now for two days everybody in the kingdom can kill and rob all the jewish people take their houses kill them exterminate them take their houses take everything from them two days two days it's open game on the jewish people kill them rob them whatever you want to do to them for two days letters were quickly sent out throughout all the land 120 province 27 provinces and when the letters began to be announced that on a two days out of the out of the upcoming year the jews could be a lot annihilated mordecai steps back up and mordecai begins to wail and motor chaos more to chaos begins to mourn can i tell you don't ever let the devil discourage you to where you can't pray don't ever allow i think i'm gonna minister in the holy ghost for a moment don't ever allow life to squeeze you so much that you you can't pray because that's exactly where hell's got you if hell can make you think that the prayer room's not helping you it's only a matter of time till he's coming for you if there's ever been a time that you need to pray it's when hell is attacking you you have prayers of devotion you have prayers of the blue skies you have prayers of the of the smooth seas you have prayers of the daily devotion but then there are certain prayers that come because we are under attack you don't stop praying so mordecai goes down to the gate and she he sends word to esther and the conversation and i'll just quickly go through it she wants to know why are you mourning mordecai why are you out there in sackcloth he sends word back to the palace because sometimes the devil's plans are not published inside of the palace and he informs esther he informs esther that this two days is coming next year to where they're going to be raised they're going to be robbed and killed and esther you've got to go in to the king for who knows now this makes sense doesn't it church for who knows whether thou have come to the kingdom for such a time as this you see you thought it was your looks you thought it was just happen chance but almighty god that knows the beginning from the end knew that haman was going to do this that's why god allowed you to be in the palace that's why god allowed you to be where you're at oh church hear my heart this morning you are where you're at today because god knew this day was going to come and that you would be able to stand esther you've got to go in she said you don't understand if anyone goes into the king's presence except he hold out the golden scepter if anybody goes in uninvited unannounced there's one law to put them to death and he's not called for me these 30 days esther don't think about yourself it's not a time brother or for us to be self-centered self-centeredness is of the haman spirit haman was self-centered it's not time for the church to be self-centered don't think about yourself esther because if you don't make a move esther god will use somebody else but you will lose your life in the process esther sent word pray and fast for me for three days now it's interesting the book of esther is an interesting book because you will not find the word lord god or prayer in the book of esther you will not find the word god lord prayer in the book of esther and it's a book that that many have written about it's it's it although lord god and prayer are not are not are not mentioned in the book of esther it's a book that you can see the hand of god behind the scenes just when you don't feel like he's working he's working even though you don't see him working he's working even though you don't hear them say god or lord god is behind the scenes and esther said if i perish i perish and it was an interesting thing that took place she did go in she did go in and she did touch the scepter the king granted her life she did touch the scepter and when she did the king said esther what is your request to half of the kingdom we're partners in this we're partners together sounds like new testament we're joint heirs with christ we're not alone we're joint heirs with christ he says he says baby what you want what do you want it's half we're joined in this and she said i just want you and haman to come to a banquet that i've got prepared for you in haman well the king goes home and that night the king can't sleep he can't sleep that night sleep is gone from him it's in the book of esther sleep is gone from him he can't sleep so he orders uh the chronicles he orders records to be brought to him and he starts reading through these records and he goes down through here and he says oh on a certain certain day my two secret service agents that were supposed to be protecting my life were upset with me and they plotted to kill me but one man by the name of mordecai brought the news and we uncovered it and we found out that they were going to kill me at a certain day and my life was spared i hung those two and he shut the book and he says what was done for mordecai oh god's timing is unreal that's why you never need to give don't ever give up his timings are he shuts the book he says what was done for mordechai did we do anything for him what was done and he's starting to talk well meanwhile meanwhile back at the ranch haman has done come in to the to the uh to the room to ask permission to hang monica he's already built gallows 75 feet tall and he's he's out there waiting for the death certificate he's out there waiting to get permission to go ahead and hang haman and so uh or hang mordecai and so haman's out there he's waiting for an audience with the king and all of a sudden the king he can't hear this going on the king's inside the door saying has anything been done for mordecai has anything been done for mordecai and he said no he said well who's out there in the courtyard who can help me and they said when i looked down and said well haman's out in the club tell haman to come on in here so haman walked down and the king said heyman see here now he said i got to talk to you he said if i really wanted to honor somebody and i really wanted to put on a dog i mean i wanted to i wanted to pull out the red carpet i mean i wanted to really honor someone what would you suggest for me to do now haman it says this in the bible haman thought within himself who would the king honor more but me who would be honored more but who'd be honored more can't you see that little thing go up beside his head who would who would he who who would he honor more but me or whoa i'll tell you what i would do oh king of hazaris if i really want to put on the dog with somebody i'll tell you i'd go get one of my suits you know you only wear a suit one time that's all you ever wear a suit just one time then it goes in the closet and he said i go get one of them suits that you used to wear and said i i i i put it on that man i put it on and and then i i i let him borrow the crown for a day i yep i let him borrow the crown for a day and then i take your horse your chariot and i'd put him in your old suit on your horse with your crown and i'd get me some little somebody to take that horse by the bridle and go through the streets of the city saying hey everybody look at what the kingdom when the king wants to honor somebody this is what the king does when the king wants to honor somebody this is what he does and the king of hazaria said good job he said go find mordecai and do it can i tell you we win we win in the name of jesus we win come on let that sink in for a moment hallelujah hallelujah let that seek in today some of you that think everything's stuck against you we win some of you that think there's no way out of this we win i'm having too much fun right now i'm having too much fun ho ho ho haman is ho ho ho hayman is hun amen i got i got to finish i got to finish who hallelujah god i'd love to see that i hope when we get to heaven god save that on a dvd i'd like to watch that i i just like to watch that i like to watch old haman having to go outside here's the suit here's the crown here's the horse oh brother shannon i love seal hamon having to go through the city this is what's done to the man this is what god will do this is what the king will do can i tell you the devil is so afraid of you staying in the church because he has ridiculed you he has falsely accused you he has shamed you but if you'll stay in the church god's going to make the devil take you through the town and say this is what's done to the person that hangs in there this is what's done to them whoa hallelujah come on go has somebody believing that today he took him one one trip through town and then he went home he went he burst in that door he said honey it's over for me it's history for me what do you mean i had to march you know them gallows i've been building for mordecai said the kings decided to honor him said the king has decided to honor him more and say when the king finds out i built gallows to kill what he has honored i don't you miss that when he finds out that i've built gallows to kill you but i've honored i've what what i have built gallows to kill god has built something to honor and if god be for you and no weapon that is formed against me will man we've been through a year of covet but if you dare think that kovitz going to redefine the church of the living god then you don't know who esther is you don't know who our god is don't be a naysayer don't be a debbie doubter don't be some kind of gloom and doom person god has got a church and it's a glorious church it's a bloodball church it's a rapture-ready church it's a church a miracle size oh what are we going to do oh what are we going to do oh honey oh honey the gallows is out back oh what am i going to do oh i i've had it now i've had it now knock knock knock on the door i'll go see who it is it's the king chauffeur what's he want he's here to take you to the banquet of esther and him oh man you got to be kidding me got him to day one of that banquet said king looked there and said esther what will you want she said i'd like to have one more day so help me it's in here esther the church a hazarius the king and haman the devil i just want one more day of me and the king and the devil in one room that's all i'm asking that's all i'm asking now she didn't call him the devil she said all i wants one more day with just me and haman and you the next day come around and they're eating and the king said all right esther you got to tell me what you want she said i'll tell you what i want i want my life i want the life of my family i want my life because it's it's been purpose to kill me i've had a death threat against my life and about that time i mean the kings then dropped his fork and spoon and the kings and said do what somebody's wanting to kill you you tell me who that is and she pointed across the table and she said it's him it's haman she said i am a jew and said he has plotted to kill me what about that time the king he had evidently watched barney cartoons when he when he grew up you know barney taught you when you don't know what to do count to ten so the king just gets up and the king just walks out of the room he's so mad he's so mad he just walks out of the room he don't know what to do he just walks out of the room he is so mad that the devil's pulled one over on he just he just he just walks out there he can't he can't hardly stand it he can't hardly stay he said he's out he's outside he's outside trying to figure out how in the world did i let that how in the world meanwhile back in the room esther and the bible does say this she's just kind of laid out on a couch she's kind of laid out on the couch you know and she's laying there and all sudden haman gets up and he goes over to the couch and according to the terminology here he gets over the top of esther on the couch and he starts saying oh please oh please don't have me put to death he just puts he just kind of gets over top of her on the tap couch about that time barney the king had done counted to ten he had got his composure together and about that time haman's in there he's over he's over esther and about that time the king comes in and says what will you force my wife to have a relationship with you yeah what are you trying to do to my wife he was oh he jumps off the couch and he says i don't even know what to do to you i don't know what i need to do to you i don't know what needs to happen to you and one of the little servants spoke up and said he built some gallows he built some gallows i'm going to tell you something god loves the church as much as he loved esther and mordecai he built some gallows oh i want to give you something to remember about this sunday morning brother nancy says marla does our book store them things are there on rollers can you bring them in here this morning like like now bring them in let's just help them bring them right down the front row of the church can i tell you something today ho ho ho hayman is hung i want you to see something today i want you to see how beautiful this is see he built he built some gallows he built some gallows he did yeah they said hang him and haman got hung on his own gallows just like satan is going to burn in
