welcome to the Wednesday night bible study and if you have your Bibles and when you get up get go to 2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse number n and I'm still kind of reeling a little bit over Pastor Nolan's comment about a dadbod I want to tell him I resemble that remark I resent that remark amen but uh it's good to be in the house of the Lord tonight and again thank you sister Olivia heel for coming and and parting to our to our ladies and and um us men will hear it from our ladies all right we'll we'll hear we'll hear hear that uh brother Hammond tonight is in uh Watkinsville Georgia preaching at his parents church and we pray we pray for him uh sister Lauren is sitting at home with Aunt Ronda this evening uh brother Chad Pastor Chad and sister Fallon Erikson will be leaving tomorrow they'll be going to Santiago Chile and uh flying all night all night long everybody before they die ought to know what it's like to fly all night long all right I guarantee you if you ever fly one time all night long you will not view it the way you think you view flying all all night all night long so we pray for them as a matter of fact matter fact be be just be seated for a moment just just go ahead and be seated uh the church there in Chile uh there actually um brother Selena and sister Selenas uh are are full-time ministers from this church here they are they are fulltime ministers from First Apostolic Church uh we we found out uh some time ago that their custom there um the Chalan culture is that they would work they both work jobs at a university and uh they would work till they were UH 60 65 years old then they would retire and then they would go full-time into the ministry and so found out uh and made a proposal several years ago uh to brother Selenas I found out what he had to have a month to live what he was making from the University and I promise you it's nothing like what uh you would make from a university here uh found that out and asked them would would if if First Apostolic Church would be willing to step out by faith and take care of your salary uh so that you can go ahead and go fulltime and uh they said absolutely absolutely amen yes and so literally brother and sister Selenas are full-time ministers from this church they're just about 5,000 miles away in Santiago Chile and um we appreciate we appreciate the work the work that uh that they're doing that they're doing there and uh as our custom is as our custom is it doesn't matter if it's a a Republican or it doesn't matter if it's a Democrat uh doesn't it doesn't matter the party affiliate ation we are told in the word of God to pray for those that are in authority to honor the to honor the king so after the Wednesday after every election uh we have a moment of praying for our newly uh elected president and uh we're going I'm going to ask you now to stand with me this evening and um uh I'm going to go ahead we're going to pray for our newly elected president Donald J Trump and um we're going to ask God to give him wisdom and give him Direction I will tell you this without being political I do believe that this election um that um the two uh agendas of of the candidates that uh president Donald J Trump's agenda and policies more favor a Bible believing people than any other policies were amen and um and so I I I personally believe that God has given us um maybe not more time but maybe and follow this maybe maybe God didn't give us more time maybe just God removed some hindrances from the time that we have all right because um um we just really need to understand that we are coming down to the end to the end of time so let's lift up our voices whether you voted for him or not now we are Christians and we bring a prayer father we come before you tonight and we bring the name of our newly elected president Donald J Trump God we ask you to anoint his mind we ask you God to anoint his Spirit God we ask you father that when people are around him that have Bible values that Lord his mind would be open and that he would see that the word of God is good for the people of America and the ways of God are good for the people in America father I ask you to keep your hand of safety upon him I ask you Lord to anoint him now father I pray for brother and sister Ericson as they travel to Santiago Chile to take place in the general conference I pray that you would keep your hand hand upon them as they fly through the night tomorrow night I pray that you would anoint them as they Minister the word there in Santiago Chile God give us many souls for our labor Lord lay your hand upon me tonight and anoint me oh God to minister your word and I'll give you the praise and the honor and the glory in jesus' name we pray remain standing as we read 2 Corinthians chapter 5 and beginning at verse number nine 2 Corinthians chapter 5 and verse number n or as our newly elected president would refer to it as two Corinthians all right two Corinthians chapter 5 verse number nine if I ever get an opportunity I'll let you know that second Corinthians now you know I wouldn't right 2 Corinthians 5 and9 wherefore we labor that whether present or absent we may be accepted of him and the hym is God for we must all appear before the Judgment seat of Christ that everyone may receive the things done in his body according to that he hath done whether it be good or bad knowing therefore the terror of the lord we persuade men everybody say those words we persuade men but we are made manifest unto God and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences tonight just a simple thing I am a soul winner I am a soul winner would you just raise one hand and say that with me tonight because it's the truth I am a soul winner God bless you tonight you may be seated what motivates you I'd like to ask the question what motivates you what is the driving force of your life ask yourself that tonight what motivates you what is the drive force of your life now all of us tonight in this room we should have the same answer every one of us should have the same answer all of us should say I want to be involved in winning a soul to Jesus Christ The Mighty God that should be the chief motivation of all of our lives that that should be the driving force of Our Lives is that I want to be a soul winner I want to be involved in reaching lost souls for Jesus Christ you see a wasted life is one that is lived without motivation or lived without purpose and the only Eternal purpose the only purpose that's worth that is really worth staying motivated is the purpose of being of being a soul winner a soul winner you see I I I believe tonight that it would be very easy that every achievement of your life everything that you consider an achievement everything you consider an achievement there was something that went before that achievement and that you were motivated you were motivated to reach that achievement you show me an achievement in my life you showed me an achievement in your life and I'll first show you that you were motivated that you were compelled or that you were driven you were driven to reach that achievement you know um it's kind of easy to kind of see motivation um if you really take the size of a rabbit and the size of a dog if you really measure the legs of a rabbit versus measuring the long legs of a dog how in the world can that small rabbit outrun that dog will it's easy it's called motivation it's called motivation you see and some of you know where I'm going already but it's simply like this the dog is running for his dinner and the rabbit is running for his life so we understand that there is a motivation that must be brought in to being a soul winner we must understand that our cheap purpose in life is to be involved in winning in winning a lost in winning a lost soul so when we start talking about soul-winning we just automatically need to go to what I believe to be the number one the number one Soul winner in the Bible the number one Soul winner hands down is the Apostle Paul if there was ever a man that was motivated you see motivation will take you through hardship motivation will take you through places that you would not go and endure such treatment unless you could look back and say I'm headed to an achievement and I'm motivated to get to where I need to be and you can't make a mountain high enough nor a valley wide enough or deep enough I want to be a soul winner I want to win souls to Jesus Christ and Paul the things that Paul went through all for the purpose all for the purpose of winning a soul Paul we're going to study him tonight tonight tonight's Bible Lesson is going to be on the greatest Soul winner the greatest Soul winner is the Apostle Paul we find him here in 2 Corinthians chapter 5 and verse number n let's go there again he's talking about winning souls in 2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse number n listen to what he says he says wherefore we labor that whether present or absent we may be accepted of God now when he says that present or absent he's talking about whether we're alive or we're dead whether we're in the body to be in the body is to be absent from the Lord to be out of the body is to be present with the Lord and he says this time in my life in the body or out of the body that we may be in that look at the end of verse five nine we may be accepted of him that word there simply means Paul said the greatest Soul winner said write it down if you dare write in your Bible write it down Paul said I want to please God I don't believe we could ever be a soul winner if we don't want to please God believe one of the motivating things about our life is we should continually be asking oursel the question am I pleasing to God God am I pleasing you God is this pleasing you you see pleasing God is such a powerful thing show you how powerful pleasing God is Psalms chapter 69 excuse me Psalms um Psalms chapter and that's a different verse that I printed today but that's why you got a good son-in-law that can look it up real quick for you all right there's a verse of scripture go to you go to your concordance and it simply says when a man's ways please the Lord he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him now I believe I quoted it but I'd like to have it put on the screen Proverbs what Proverbs 16 and 7 could you put that on the screen real quick Proverbs 6 look at that let there be light and there's light Let There Be scripture and there's scripture when a man's ways please the Lord he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him you talk about the power of pleasing God anybody got any enemy don't raise your hand all right do you know that when you please God that God he said you you don't know my enemies you don't know my God because my God doesn't ask my enemies to be at peace with me would you look give that again so they can see it all he doesn't ask my enemies to be at peace with me when I please God look at this he does what and when God wants to make you God can make you look at the power of that tonight when our ways please the Lord he maketh even our enemies to be at peace now let's go to Psalm 69 verse number 30 can somebody say Amen you glad that when your ways please God he maketh his enemies make it your enemies to be at peace with me Psalm 69 and verse 30 look at this the psalmist said I will praise the name of God with a song that's what we did tonight and Magnify Him with Thanksgiving this also shall please the Lord better than an ox or a bulock that hath horns and hoofs now God says I am more pleased with your praise than I am what you could necessarily give me now now that that ought to be a comfort to all of us tonight in that day to be able to offer a bullet or to be able to offer an animal with hoofs and horns you had to be very wealthy but God said I'll tell you what I'll be more pleased with what everybody can give me than what just a couple of people can give me if you'll just sing to me God said I'll be pleased I'll be pleased with that doesn't sound like it's hard to please the Lord matter of fact parents our children are not in here tonight take this home with you the Bible says in Colossians chapter 3 and verse 20 children obey your parents in all things for this is well pleasing unto the Lord you need to let your children know of the power of pleasing the Lord the power that's there pleasing the Lord when they obey their parents they are pleasing unto the Lord now now we need as parents to take a little bit of responsibility now we can teach that to our children but we really need to make sure our children understand that when their ways please the Lord now I like this this last verse that I'm going to use Paul said I I I'm a soul winner and one of the things that I really strive to do I really strive to please the Lord look at first John first John chapter 3 and verse number 22 now not the Gospel of John but the Epistle of John first John John chap 3 and verse 22 John the says these words and whatsoever we ask we receive of him because we keep his Commandments and do those things that are look at that again what pleasing in his sight Paul said you want to be a soul winner you want to be a soul winner Paul said you got to really be motivated to please the Lord you got to you got to ask yourself often Lord am I pleasing to you God is this is this pleasing to you well let's let's let's move on let's let's move on down um he he uses the word there in 2 Corinthians 5 and9 he says um um we labor that we may be present whether present or absent we may be accepted now he talks in verse number nine he talks about now I I want to be pleasing to the Lord then he gets to verse 10 for we must all appear before the Judgment seat of Christ that everyone may receive the things done in his body according to that he had done whether it be good whether it be good or bad now you understand do not confuse the Judgment seat of Christ with the great white Throne judgment you see the the the Judgment seat of Christ is for his church when the church is raptured and we go to heaven to celebrate the marriage supper of the lamb and I've often said in the Book of Revelation there's two suppers that are mentioned there's the supper of the marriage of the lamb and there is the supper at the battle of Armageddon where God will call the fowls to come and to eat the flesh Kings and captains and it's the supper of the great God and I've often said this you want to go to the marriage supper of the Lamb you don't want to be supper all right you want to make sure that you go to the marriage supper of the Lamb so when the Rapture of the church happens which is the very next thing on God's timetable the Rapture of the church when the Rapture of the church happens we the church will go to heaven to go to the marriage supper of the lamb and at the marriage supper of the Lamb we will appear before the Judgment seat of Christ now now wait a minute does that determine whether I'm saved or not has nothing to do with your salvation you are saved has nothing to do with your salvation it has to do with rewards with with rewards because the Bible said we'll stand before the Judgment seat of Christ that we receive the things that are done in our body whether good or bad that every man may receive that every man may receive a reward now I I don't believe I I don't believe that heaven will be absolutely absent of everything I do believe there will probably be some regret in heaven some regret in heaven because when those rewards are passed out you may regret that you didn't spend your time more on the greatest thing that God wants you to focus on and wants the church to focus on and that is being a soul winner right now the greatest thing we're focused on is winning Souls plucking Souls out of the fire of Hell introducing them to the Lord Jesus Christ through the word of God getting them to get into a relationship with God and watch God change their life I spent two hours before church tonight my wife spent an hour today on a zoom teaching a young lady brother brother adaren and sister Christy's daughter out in California teaching her a bible study on a zoom thank God for electronics teaching the the Sheran a Bible study uh uh by Way by way of Zoom why is she doing that sister car why are you doing that because we want to win souls to God we want to bring Sheran into a fuller deeper more fulfilling relationship with Jesus Christ amen that's why that's why we do this right I I met I met tonight I met two hours before service tonight I'm I'm just telling you the motivation I'm telling you the motivation has nothing to do with church attendance although winning Souls will increase Church attendance but you don't try to get people to increase your attendance you got the wrong motivation but if you'll win souls if you if you'll win souls the attendance will go up I spent two hours before church tonight got here about 5:00 had two Bible studies with two great men John uh John cornette and uh Ron had the final Bible study with brother Ron brother Ron you're here and brother John he's uh over here in this section John good to see you but you know what why why you doing that for why you doing that because I want to prak the word of God and I want to bring them into a more fulfilling Rich richer deeper relationship with God and if God's got more for you brother Ron you want it don't you huh and God's got more for you John you you want it and I know that God that's the whole motivation of it the whole motivation of it y'all may be seated right now y'all may be seated now I know I'm not preaching not about getting your cat out of the tree I know I'm not preaching not about your arthritis and btis and I know I'm not preaching tonight about your mortgage payment all of that because we become very selfish and we think that's all that light listen the greatest thing you do I I've often I've often said this and I believe it if we will take care of God's business God will take care of somebody finish it for me if we take care of God's business God will take care of he'll take care of our business talking about talking about being being a soul winner has nothing to do when we stand before the Judgment seat of Christ has nothing to do with our salvation but it has to do with God giving us a reward for the work for the work that we have we have done that we have done here now now come on back down to Matthew chap 25 and verse number 20 because I think you you you'll kind of see what I'm talking about when it talks about these rewards that that are that are done Matthew 25 Matthew 25 and verse number 20 listen to this Parable and so he that had received five talents got in this Parable this man was given five talents of wealth he came and brought other five talents saying Lord th deliver unto me five talents you you gave me this five talents behold I have gained besides them five talents more now please understand he was given this five amount these five talents he went out he went out and he worked with the five talents he went out and he began to exchange he began to work with the five talents and he earned five more talents so the time came for the judge the seat of Christ the time came for judgment and uh he came and he said here you gave me this now I'm giving you five more verse 21 his lord said unto him well done thou good and faithful servant thou Hast been Faithful over a few things I will make thee ruler over many things enter thou into the joy of the Lord notice this he took what God had given him he took what God had given him and he went out and had interaction with others and he increased it he increased it to where the five he got five more and when he brought it back the Lord said I am pleased that's what that means well done well done I'm pleased and then he says you have been Faithful over a few things but I am going to make you faithful I'm going to make you I am going to make you ruler over many and no notice the last words here because here's where we get the analogy enter thou into the joy of thy Lord that's talk about heaven that's talking about heaven he said all right this is Judgment Day this is what I've given you this is what I have given you and at Judgment Day we have to stand and we have to present what God has given us and boy haven't we all been given a lot of opportunity we've been given a lot of opport we've been given a lot of opportunity I I I personally think the marable church is going to be judged by such a high standard because we we've been given a lot of opportunity we we've got a lot of opportunity to serve God here a lot of things just like tomorrow with veterans uh the presentation for the veterans that's a great opportunity if you know a veteran and and and can I tell you yes we want to honor our veterans for serving our country but another chief reason we want to get them here if there's any veterans that come tomorrow that doesn't know the Lord I not only want to honor them for their time served I want to introduce them to the captain of our Salvation amen I want to introduce them the captain of our Salvation tell them about heaven well brother car that may be a little vague right there enter thou into the joy of thy Lord that may be a little vague you you might be stretching a little bit for that to mean Heaven well all right all right then between verse 21 of chapter 25 of Matthew and verse 30 is a person that comes to judgment that was only given one he was only given one talent and he took that Talent and he dug a hole in the ground and he hid that talent and when Judgment Day came he went down and dug the talent up and brought it back to the Lord with a mouthful of excuses I knew you were a hard man I knew you didn't like losing things so therefore I hid my talent and here I'm simply giving you what you've give me here's what he said in verse 30 to that man he says in verse 30 he said and cast ye the unprofitable servant in the outer Darkness there shall be weeping and nashing of teeth I think I'm totally in line to show a man got five talents turned around and made five more and was entering into heaven and the man that did nothing with what God had given him was cast out into outer Darkness where there's weeping and nashing of teeth and we all know that to be the place called hell I don't want to be that unprofitable servant God I want to please you Lord I want I want to hear you say to me one day well done Kenny Carpenter enter thou into the joy enter thou into the joy enter thou into the joy of of the Lord enter thou into the joy of the Lord now let let me go back for just a moment to pleasing to pleasing God and being ready for the Rapture okay pleasing God and being ready for the Rapture um the Old Testament is full of types and shadows now if you're unfamiliar with that uh a type and a shadow in the Old Testament is God uses a literal thing in the Old Testament to be a type or a shadow of a forcoming reality in the New Testament for example the blood of the lamb in the Old Testament representing the blood of Jesus Christ Lambs that were that were that were told by God to be offered Lambs sheep that were told by God to be offered was a type and a shadow of when God would become man because what did John call him on that day Behold the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world now in the Old Testament there is a man called Enoch and he is Enoch is an Old Testament type and Shadow of the believer who is raptured out of this world before the destruction of this world which would be the worldwide flood Enoch he predates Noah and the flood he he he predates Noah and the flood and the Bible simply says in Hebrews chapter 11 and verse number five look at this with me Hebrews chap 11 and verse number five by faith Enoch was translated or raptured from one place Earth to heaven was translated that he should not see death and was not not found because God had translated him for before his translation he had this testimony that he pleased God the Bible says tells tells the story it says and Enoch walked with God and was not for God took him you see Enoch is a man that pleases God and one day he was just on the earth and this is just is bible-based his conv one day Enoch is on the earth and the next moment he's not one minute Enoch is doing something of which we don't know what he's doing other than the category of he walked with God Enoch what Enoch walked with God and was not because God took him and then later Hebrews tells us the reason that God took him was that he was pleasing unto the Lord I want to be a part I want to be a soul winner I want to be a part of a church that's a soul winner because when God gets ready to take us up before all the tribulation falls on this Earth I want God to look down on merville and on this church and on you and me and I want God to say I'm pleased with them right there they've been trying to get souls into the kingdom they've been trying to their Chief motivation their Chief motivation is to win their Chief motivation is is to win their cheap motivation is to win souls now I I didn't I I gave you Hebrews chapter 13 and verse um 16 but I'd like for you to start at verse 15 if you could do that Hebrews chapter 13 and verse number 15 talking about Jesus Christ by him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually that is the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name now we're going to read verse 16 in a moment but we are a praising church we are a worshiping church and uh nothing excites me anymore than seeing people worship and praise God that's a wonderful thing a pastor loves to see people worshiping and praising God but verse 16 comes along and says but to do good and wait minute it's it's almost he's talking about yes you can praise God and yes you can sing and you can you can praise God and you can sing and it's acceptable and it's a sacrifice but then he says but to do good and to communicate forget not for with such sacrifices God is well pleased now it's almost as if he's saying it's good that you're singing it's good that you're praising my name and worshiping my name but in the midst of that just don't think your job is all done because you've praised and worshiped my name he said you you need to do good and to communicate that word communicate there in the Greek means to share it means to it means to it means to share well why in the world would we care about Santiago CH why why in the world why why in the world would we care brother uh snitcher why would we care about Africa and and you you tell me about what it takes to get there and and again if anybody thinks that's the the Lim life to go to Africa that and and go to where you you know flying and and and brother Ericson he he was the he he was the regional director for Africa at one time and he almost taught me into going and he said do you want us to get which do you want to get a room and and do you want a mosquiton around your bed and that sold me right there I said uh I think you can go brother Ericson and uh you can get that mqu net but why would you go do that why would you why why would why would you tell a man that hey you know just go ahead and turn 60 in 40 years or 30 years and go full-time and do whatever you want to do and this week this week alone when we first started talking to brother Selenas a few years ago talked to him I I was on my couch and and I was talking through a translator on the phone to him and it was just him and a couple more people just him and a handful of people that were wanting to get together and have fellowship and now brother Ericson sister Ericson will go this week and they'll be there'll be that there may even top a thousand people that will be there churches that are starting all over all over the country of Chile Apostolic churches that that are sted why are you doing that CA we want to share cause we want to share oh do I love Sunday night boy did y'all see Pastor shouting Sunday night y'all see Pastor shouting they even got me if you didn't see me go on Facebook they got a picture of me shouting Sunday night man I love to shout don't you love to see that choir just empty out people just go and then they're just praising God and and and and and little Kenny does the spin down here in the front and brother Ben Lee does the uh the the The Dashing around don't you love to see all that boy I love to see all that but do you know if most churches just stop right there and they say that's a good church oh that's a good church they're a shouting church I submit to you that we're not a good church if we only praise him we're a good church when we're willing to share what God brings in here and we're willing to push it out here and we're willing to say Hey you know I I I think we could buy a bunch of flags and yes yes we want to honor our veterans yes that was our motivation to start but our chief motivation is we want to make a place around here where people will drive by and say what in the world's going on at that Apostolic Church why because it's more than just a church it's got a Doctrine attached to it and it's more than just a Doctrine it's got an experience come on now we got to I'm talking about being motivated hey if you got low energy if your brain is in a fog if you're just you you know if you just don't have a lot of reason for living you need to listen to Pastor tonight and get motivated about the greatest thing on the there's nothing like winning a soul come on give him some praise right now with me let me oh yes my reward my reward let me go on my reward our mission our mission I'm coming to a close everybody say our mission our mission say it again our our mission Paul says it here 2 Corinthians 5:1 let's go back here's our mission our mission is in verse 11 knowing therefore the terror of the lord we persuade men he said when I know the terror of the Lord when I know how God is angry with the wicked when I know that God is angry with the wicked let me tell you something tonight for us to only preach from this pull pit a god of love and a god of Mercy is for us to commit the greatest sin and not preaching the full picture of God and a half Truth Listen to this if we only preach the love and the mercy of God we are guilty of a Hal truth and want you to listen to the statement now a Hal truth is always a whole lie I said I have truth truth is always a whole lifee so if we only preach a god of restoration a god of abundance a god of blessing a god of forgiveness God of grace and mercy and he is all of that and we fail to tell you that he's a god of anger and his anger is toward sin Paul said no knowing the terror of the Lord knowing the terror knowing how angry God is with sin look at that knowing how angry God is with sin what are we doing we're trying our best to persuade men hey you can come out of that lifestyle hey God can God can deliver you hey hey you you need to see that for what it is you need you need to see that for what it is in the word of God because he is a God knowing the terror of the lord well let's find some scripture for this let's find some scripture Psalms let's go to let's go to a praise book this is where we get our dancing and our hand clapping from let's go to Psalm 711 let's go to Psalm 711 God judgeth the righteous and God is what God is what I want to engage God is what with the how often wow we better know the terror of the Lord you see before we want to judge people in their sin we got to see them lost without God and burning in a devil's hell and my friend no one no one should go to hell without knowing there's a way not to go there no one should go to hell without us trying to tell the the church ought to be the biggest roadblock in front of every bar in front of ever drug housee the church ought to be the biggest roadblock in front of every sinner telling them you don't have to go there there there's a better way you you you there's a better way that you can that you can walk God is angry with the wicked every day let's go to the New Testament 2 Thessalonians 2 Thessalonians chapter 1 verse number 6 second Thessalonians 1 and6 seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you and to you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire taking Vengeance on them that know not God and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ taking Vengeance them that know not God that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ who shall be punished with Everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his power when he shall come to be glorified in his Saints and to be admired in all them that believe because our testimony among you was believed in that day can I tell you friend that the Bible is is plain when it says that God is angry with the wicked every day and that when God returns he is going to take Vengeance I didn't write this I know it's not something that makes you want to run around the church but it ought to be something that motivates us to win souls he said that obey not the gospel that know not God and that obey not the gospel we got to tell it it's why we spent two hours before church tonight we got to tell it that's why we spend an hour on a zoom call today we got to tell it now I'm just talking about there's many people in this church teaching Bible studies all over why do y'all teach Bible studies because we got to tell it we got to get the word out we are opportunist we are wanting people to know there is a better way if there's ever been a day that the world is looking for a better day get the sign up Church get your hands up and your heart up this world is looking for a better way I I close with this it's not a parable it's a real story in the Bible it's about a rich man who died and went to hell it's about a poor man named Lazarus who died and went to heaven demons were the Paw bears for the rich man Angels were the Paw bears for the beggar the rich man opens up his eyes in hell and his value system changes he would not touch the beggar on this Earth but in hell he begged for the beggar to come and dip his finger in water and touch his tongue when the Lord told the man that there was no way that there would been a great golf fixed and no one can come to hell to help you and there's a great Gul that is fixed and no one can get out of hell hell has no exits then the man it's interested it's interesting in verse 27 listen to the man then he said I pray thee therefore father that thou would as send him if if Lazarus cannot come and touch my tongue would you send Lazarus to my father's house for I have five brethren that he may testify unto them lest they also come into this place of Torment I want you to know something I don't want hell to motivate me he said if that man can if Lazarus cannot come and give me some water on my tongue then would you please send him to my father's house I've got five brothers and I don't want them to die and come to this place to where I'm at watch this Abraham verse 29 Abraham said unto him they have Moses and the prophets let them hear them and he said nay Father Abraham but if one went unto them from the dead they will repent he said no if somebody could go and show a miracle they would repent he said unto him if they will hear not Moses and the prophets neither will they be persuaded though one rose from the dead he said the only way to stay out of hell is you got to get somebody to read you this and you got to believe this but you know something today and I hope it's not here I hope it's not here because I I'll get that old sermon out that I preached a few years ago and blow the dust off of it and preach once again a place called hell do do you know that the majority of Christ christianities that are Christians that are ped brother Ben do not believe in a literal hell Christians people that will tell you yes I believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ yes I'm saved will also tell you I do not believe there is a literal hell well I got news for you do you know who the number one preacher on the subject of Hell in the Bible was Jesus Christ Jesus Christ preached more about hell than any other people any other prophets in the bible Jesus Christ preached about hell and if there is no hell then you have to discredit everything that Jesus said because he preached that there was a place called hell to say there's no hell would be to discredit Jesus Christ you might as well you you you might as well just walk away and never breathe his name again because you can't do that I'm going to tell you something can I tell you yes he allowed himself to be nailed to a tree yes no man no man brother Trey no man man took his life he said no man takes my life I willingly lay it down yes he laid his life down yes they reached up and grabbed his beard and plucked his beard out of his face yes they beat him such about his face that he was unrecognizable yes they crucified him they butchered him why oh it's to show me how much he loves me that's a half truth again that's another half truth you can't just say he went to Calvary to show you how much he loves you you got to add the other part of that truth he went to Calvary to keep you out of hell he went and gave his life so that we could have eternal life so that we wouldn't die one day without him and be lost forever in eternity now you see we have to love what God loves please stay close to God until you begin to love what he loves I said please stay close to God would you stand with me right now please church please First Apostolic Church stay close to God until you love what he loves what does God love for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son he said in another Parable he said come on into the kingdom come on into heaven for I was sick and you visited me I was hungry and you gave me meat thirsty and you gave me drink Naked And you clothed me in prison and you came and they said Lord when did we ever see you hungry naked thirsty in prison sick when did we ever see you this way he said when you did it to the least you did it unto me can I tell you every lost person you witness to is what Jesus Christ would do every person you try to get in in to come to church to hear the gospel that's what Jesus Christ would do Peter do you love me sure I love you what was the answer back some of you that read your Bible tell me feed my sheep so the next time we tell the lord lord I Love You Lord I love you is he saying back then love what I love love what I love what do you say between now and Sunday Lord willing if God brings us back Sunday morning what do you say we try to get somebody to come back with us somebody to come back to church how many how many do their best to get somebody to come back to church with you Sunday how
