if you stand with me tonight we'll go to the word of the Lord this evening thank you brother Vickers for that fiery testimony thank you for that message today he preached a message today entitled it packing for eternity packing for eternity and he moved me and I tell you what that preacher that was here this morning that preacher that preached this morning here he moved me I'm going to start winning Souls folks I said I'm going to start winning Souls it's this time start winning Souls it's just time to start getting radical About Soul winning uh that that preacher this morning doesn't stirred me up who's my neighbor everybody's my neighbor I'm just scared man that preacher this morning Disturbed his little long-winded but he did stir me up this morning we're so glad we are so glad to have Cheyenne well it was white but now it's break Cheyenne my sister break we're so glad to have his brother and sister Wyatt's daughter that slipped off up to Ohio and lived she's a buckeye now but God's going to bring her back make her a volunteer and she's shaking her head no I think I got a divided house over there no to being a buckeye right right oh I got some stuff going on here tonight so good to see him brother sister White um what great parents and there's there's nothing any more joyful than just to raise your kids to live for God and to serve God I tell you this I want to I want to win some songs just for a few moments tonight would you turn with me in your Bible to revelation The Book of Revelation chapter 7. verse 9 and 10. and then Revelation chapter 20 verse 11 through 14. Revelation chapter 7 verse 9. John said after this I beheld I beheld and lo a great multitude which no man could number of all Nations kindreds people in tongues stood Before the Throne and before the lamb clothed with white robes and Palms in their hands and cried with a loud voice saying salvation to our God would sitth upon the throne and unto the lamb Revelation chapter 20 verse number 11. and I saw and I saw a great white throne and him that set on it from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away there was found no place for them and I saw the dead small and great stand before God and the books were opened and another book was opened which is The Book of Life and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books according to their works and the Sea gave up the dead which were in it and death in Hell delivered up the dead which were in them and they were judged every man according to their works death and hell were cast into the Lake of Fire this is the second death and whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire simple title tonight just a simple title tonight I'll keep you but a few moments just a simple title tonight John did you see me father I ask you tonight Lord to anoint my lips of clay God I'm nothing more than a messenger in your hands I'm not even my own I'm bought with the price I'm here tonight oh God to lift up my voice and try to enter the ears and minds and souls and spirits of the greatest thing that you love on this Earth Humanity God I ask you tonight Lord to use Me O God used me Lord tonight to speak to the hearts of someone in this building God touch us tonight and Lord I'll give you the praise of the honor and the glory please use me tonight in Jesus name we pray amen you may be seated John did you see me it was John the Revelator as he is so called who was given the honor of watching the end of time as we know it John's Revelation begins with the ending of the church age from chapters one through four of the Book of Revelation John Witnesses the end of the church age as it closes in symbolic form by John said I Heard a Voice that was as a trumpet and said to me come up hither and immediately John said I was in the throne room John enters into that throne room of Eternity it was there that John would be witnessing events that take place end time events that would take place was there that John would see kingdoms rise and kingdoms fall it was there that John would witness a One World Currency was there that John would witness a mark John would witness the rise of the Antichrist John would witness the acceleration of evil upon the Earth but it was in chapter 7. that John was given the honor of seeing the redeemed gathered around the throne John was given the high honor he saw Antichrist and he saw kingdoms come and kingdoms go but God allowed John in chapter 7. John saw the throne and the redeemed of the Lord around the throne he said I beheld it he said I saw it he said I witnessed a great multitude which no man could place a number upon he said they came from every nation they came from ever kindred of all the people tongues stood Before the Throne and before the lamb clothed in a white robe and had palm branches in their hands which is a symbol of overcoming victory and there they lifted up their voice and there they said salvation to our God the redeemed of the Lord that you and I tonight that's the redeemed the church I wish I could just ask John John did you see me John did you happen to get a glimpse and John did you did you see my face because brothers and sisters tonight that's what I'm living my life for and you should yours you should live your life to make sure that John saw you as one of the worshipers that was around the throne Heaven is our goal Heaven is as real tonight matter of fact don't let me stop myself Heaven is more real than any City you've ever witnessed because the cities that you and I witness are temporal they will burn up with fire on one day but we're going to a city whose Builder and maker is God that has a wall that is 1500 miles long and 1500 miles high 1500 miles wide we're going to a city that has three gates on each side we're going to a city where the lamb there'll be no need of sun in that place because the Bible says the lamb the lamb is the light we live but a few short years down here on this Earth and we need to understand that God gives us these few short years just as a dress rehearsal for that city where the lamb is that light everything inside of me tonight wants to spend every moment of the remainder of my life reminding people that this world is not our home we're just simply passing through our Treasures are laid up if I could borrow the tune our Treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue this world is not my home John I hope you saw me there oh I hope he saw you I pray tonight I hope that he saw you with hands lifted and a raid in a white robe with Palms of victory in your hand oh I hope he saw you But Not only was John privileged to witness the redeemed around the throne Revelation chapter 20 and verse 11. John also witnessed the Judgment the great white Throne judgment you see there are two judgment seats in the Bible the Judgment seat of Christ and the white Throne judgment and by the help of God I'm going to the Judgment seat of Christ I'm going to stand art there on that day and all of the works that I have done in his name and for his name every tithe check that's been written every prayer that has been prayed have a door that's been knocked every lingering around the altar that's been given I want to go to that judgment seat of Christ and to hear him say those words well done good and faithful servant here are your Rewards John witnessed the great white Throne judgment John says twice and I saw a great white throne and him that set up on it whose face the Earth fled away and there was found no place this is a place that Humanity does not want to go this is a place that man does not want to stand before and they try to run and they try to hide and they cry out for the rocks to fall upon them but there's no place found for them they're ushered in before this white throne John said I saw the dead small and great and what he means by small and great he saw movie stars and he saw poppers he saw multi-billionaires and he saw people on welfare he saw the great he saw names that you would recognize and names that you would not he saw the small and the great stand before God and the books plural verse 12 the books plural were opened these books plural are the 66 books of the Bible these 66 books cover different time periods of humanity different times that God gave man different opportunities to come to him these books were open whatever dispensation you lived in these books were open and then another book singular was opened which is The Book of Life the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books plural according to their Works in other words how they responded and how they reacted what they believed and what they accepted they were judged according to their works the Bible said the sea gave up the dead which were in it death in Hell the grave delivered delivered up the dead which were in them and they were judged every man according to their Works death and hell were cast into the Lake of Fire this is a second death and then verse number 15 and whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire would you please notice that word they're cast into the Lake of Fire they will not walk into the Lake of Fire they will not choose they will not walk upon their own they that day will have to have Angel beings more stronger than they which will come and pick them up and as you discard something at your front door they will be cast into the Lake of Fire oh God John surely you didn't see me there oh I want to live my life to make Heaven my home oh I want to live my life there is a heaven to gain and there is a hell to shun you say brother Carpenter this is not real popular preaching I know popular preaching nowadays is how to be comfortable down here and how to make the best of your life down here but I would be a glorified fool and we would be nothing but fools tonight for me just to give you a sermon on how to be happy down here folks we got a judgment day coming and we've got to get ready for that day John did you see me John did you see me there John did I have my white robe on it and did I have my palm branches in my head John did you see me John did you see me well whether or not John saw you at the in the redeemed John saw you being cast into the Lake of Fire all hinges upon who you're following who you're following Jesus set it plain in Matthew 7 13. Jesus simply told a crowd much like you tonight he said in Matthew 7 13 He said enter ye in at the Straight Gate for wide is the gate and Broad is the way that lead it to destruction and many there be which go in their hat because straight is the gate and narrow is the way which leadeth unto life and few there being that find it can I tell you tonight if you're a crowd follower I'm afraid you're going to end up at the white Throne judgment if you're somebody that determines how you're going to believe and how you're going to act by the crowd of people I'm afraid John did not see you standing around the throne among the redeemed because Jesus said the way of Destruction is a broad way the way of Destruction is a wide gate because there are several different ways to wind up in hell you can you can find yourself in Hell by several different roads hell has a wide road to go in you can find yourself in Hell from so many different directions but my friend you can only find yourself in Heaven by one road and Jesus said I am the way I am the truth and I am the light you can go to Hell by a whole lot of different roads but if you wind up around the throne it's because you were a lover of Jesus Christ it's because you devoted your life to him if you're a crowd follower I'm sorry if you're a crowd follower you are not going to end up around the Throne of the redeemed It is believed and I did some research on this that at the time of Noah's flood brother Vickers at the time of Noah's flood the Earth's population was 750 million people were alive at the time of Noah's flood 750 million people were alive but the Bible tells us plainly in second Peter 2 5 he spared not the old world but saved Noah the eighth person a preacher of righteousness bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly if you were looking to make your decisions based on the crowd I'm going to tell you where you ended up you ended up in the flood but if you wanted to be among the few only eight Souls if you weren't carrying you didn't care about a crowd if you wasn't making decisions based on everybody's doing this and everybody can't be wrong I'm here to tell you tonight in the name of the Lord everybody can be wrong if they're not lining up with God's holy word well I just don't see how everybody could be wrong you better not look at the crowds you better look at the book because the book is going to tell you how to get in oh I want John did you see me there John did you see me there John did you see me 750 million people were alive when the flood came but only eight was saved on the ark I did a little research on the Twin Cities of Sodom and Gomorrah on the time that God brought God didn't wait for Sodom and Gomorrah to come to Hell God brought hell to Sodom and Gomorrah God rained down fire and brimstone I did a little research on how many people lived in Southern and Gomorrah at the time of Destruction I have a million people lived and Sodom and Gomorrah but there was only four that made it out and really all four of them didn't make it out one turned into a pillar of salt in between the city and the mountain because they wanted to look back Jesus spoke about the day of tribulation not the Rapture but the day of tribulation with the announcement of the Antichrist when the Antichrist has been announced over the land of the Middle East Jesus said if you're in the field don't go back to the house where your stuff is at he said if you're on the housetop and you get the news that the Antichrist has taken over don't even go down and gather up your stuff but flee as fast as you can ladies and gentlemen today Lot's wife turned to a pillar of salt she had the answer for deliverance she held the hand of her husband but she turned into a pillar of salt because yes her feet were out of Sodom but her heart was still there God bring us out of this world God bring us out of this world I don't want my heart to be here I don't want to love the things of this world we have nothing in common with this world other than we need to witness to this world their fashion is not our fashion their entertainment is not our entertainment their religion is not our religion John did you see me I wish somebody lift your voice up and I Cry Just John did you see me I'm afraid we got too many fence straddlers in the church tonight I'm afraid we got too many people that have been to the baptistry but their heart's still in the world I believe we got too many people that talk in tongues here that talk in the world out there we gotta get out of Sodom we got we gotta follow we gotta get out of Sodom come on love love him right now love him right now John did you see me come on John did you see me John did you see 500 000 in the Twin Cities of Sodom and Gomorrah but only four made it out one turned to a pillar of salt three made it to the mountain doesn't sound like the majority was right the book of Exodus chapter 32 verse number 2. have preached this tonight to a young Congress I preach this tonight to the younger people in this congregation because it's very easy for you to get your eyes on the crowd and begin to wonder could they all be wrong you're telling me brother Carpenter you're telling me we're the only folks baptized right in this city no I'm not telling you that this is oh come on you really brother Carpenter you really believe that you're all preaching the Plan of Salvation the book says it I didn't write the book it's the book that says then Peter said unto them repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sin and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost the book said it John did you see me the bug said it are you ready tell them do you really believe do you really believe that let me tell you something if I didn't believe that if I didn't believe that I wouldn't be wasting my time here tonight but it sure as I'm standing here that's the only plan I find in this book that's the only plan fine that's why somebody drove 70 miles tonight from Cleveland to let somebody be baptized in Jesus name because that's the only name under Heaven given among men whereby we must be saved well the crowd doesn't baptize that way and the crowd don't go in either I want to be a part of that few make me the eight Souls on the Ark made me the one coming out you better watch Being crowd followers it's in the book of Exodus chapter 30 chapter 23 verse number 2 Exodus chapter 32 excuse me 23. verse number two listen to God thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil you mean they're all going to hell I do know one thing nothing is said about heaven enlarging itself but our Bible said hell has had to go under a building program and Hell hath enlarged her mouth Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil you see following the crowd is always a following to do the evil it was Paul that said in First Corinthians 15 32 that evil company or evil crowds will corrupt good habits of people job used this as his defense you know all great people were not a part of a crowd all great people stuck out as an individual great people are not a part of a crowd but they're the men and women that'll step outside and say I'm not a part of that crowd don't you know if you step outside the crowd you become all by yourself yes and some of the greatest names in our scripture or men and women that stepped out and said I'll follow Jesus and I'll let the world go by I'll claim his promises for God Will Supply job was giving his defense and in Job chapter 31 verse number 34 job said this in his defense job said did I fear a great multitude or did the contempt of families terrify me that I kept silent and went not out of the door job said did you know I didn't allow multitudes to move me I didn't I didn't allow crowds to decide I didn't allow the crowds to decide for me job said I was able to stand on my own can I tell you the book of Faith tonight in your book of Faith tonight would not be written because you were part of the youth group that it'll be written because you had a name inside that youth group that even at the whole youth group decides to go do something they shouldn't do you're going to stand up and say I'm sorry I'm not going with the crowd let me out of this car on the next corner you know the some of the strongest people have been people that have looked their peers in the eyes and said I just can't go that direction I just can't go that direction I Gotta Go a different direction John John did you see me did you see me John did you see me it was nowhere that stood out of the crowd it was Abram that stood out of the crowd Isaac Jacob David Sampson Gideon because men and women esters that were willing to stand out on the crowd say I'm going to go alone into the presence into the presence of God Paul wrote to us and gave us warning it's it's in it's in First Corinthians 7 31. Paul simply said these words in First Corinthians 7 31. and they that use this world as not abusing it for the fashion of this world passeth away there's a different translation that brings it clear to us translation simply says we are to live as those who live in the world system but are not absorbed by it we're not absorbed by it we're not we're in the world but we're not of the world we're in this world but we're not absorbed into the things of this world the lust of the flesh the lust of the eye and the pride of life this world dangles a lot of things before us to try to tempt us because of the lust of the flesh but we are not of this world we have crucified our flesh and the lust thereof it is through the power of Jesus Christ that we're able to look through Temptation when Temptation delivers us a shiny Red Apple and says eat of this and you will be satisfied somehow the child of God that steps away from the crowd and steps away from the voices finds himself a dark prayer room and an altar it is there that we look at lust and we say when lust is conceived it bringeth forth sin and When sin is finished it bringeth forth death which crowd are you following tonight does the world's entertainment woo you out of the house of God just the world's entertainment tell you you would really be somebody on our dance floor or do you see past the facade of the temptation of the world and see nothing but misery and death and you say give me the choir loss give me the praise give me a holy dance give me a praise to God I'll step away from the crowd come on praise him right now John did you see me I wish somebody would cry it out John did you see me John did you see me did you see me John did you see me there around the throne John did you see me the Bible talks about the lust of the flesh the Bible talks about the lust of the eye you see my friend this world can give you an illusion sin is nothing but an illusion you will be you you will be you will be enticed out of the house of God by nothing more than an illusion people by the thousands can come back and testify I wish I'd never left this place I wish I had never left this place and I'm on safe ground to tell you tonight there is no one that leaves the house of God in their right mind nobody leaves what God has to offer in their right mind sin has to give them an illusion sin has to cause them to be bored with praise and worship sin has to cause them just to not be in step that's why if you listen to worldly music Godly music sounds distasteful to you if you get your ear trained from Nashville and you get your ear trained for the music of this world when you come in and somebody starts saying some glad morning we shall see Jesus in the air coming after you and me Joys is ours to share you'll see it as archaic you'll see it as outdated the world will tell you we've got the latest but it's lying to you lying to you it's lying to you John I wish somebody say it with me John did you see me oh I want to see him his look up on his face forever oh I want to see him the lust of the flesh and a lust of the eye it's an illusion young lady it's an illusion sir it's not real Satan has never delivered his promises Satan promises life and gives you bondage Satan promises you freedom that he puts you in bondage Satan promised our baby brother Kathy Kathy Satan promised our baby brother Jerry he promised him Liberation from that Old Apostolic church that said you had a date in the faith it promised me oh that although archaic Apostolic Church it says don't you go to the skating rink unless we rent it don't you go here that old archaic Apostolic out of touch out of date Church said come on out here Jerry and Jerry did and he spent 38 years of his life in a Penitentiary can I tell you is it illusion my God wake up yourself shake up yourself tonight if you've got the Holy Ghost you ought to feel something right now you got the Holy Ghost you can't be sitting on your hands right now you got the Holy Ghost you can't be on your cell phone right now you got the Holy Ghost you got to be praising God right now come on come on Church come on Church John did you see me John did you see me three days John did you see me he ain't gonna see you if you're dabbling with your cell phone he ain't gonna see you if you're in his place tonight and you've not worshiped God in a long time he's not going to see you if this is boring to you oh when are we gonna calm down and be like other churches I'm not following the crowd I'm not following the crowd we gonna Stir It Up now we're gonna Stir It Up John did you see me how long you gonna shout mother Carpenter as long as I can how long you're gonna run by the bin as long as I can John did you see me be not only yoke but but he's a Christian this boy that wants to date me is a Christian I know he's not being baptized in Jesus name and he says he's got the Holy Ghost but he got the Holy Ghost you don't talk in tongues oh oh my I know what the Bible says I know what the Bible listen to me tonight young lady listen to me tonight it's an illusion there's millions of young girls that have ended up pregnant there's millions of young girls that listen to a boy say if you'll marry me I'll go to your church only to get married and a few weeks later he tells you I don't believe it like that I'm not comfortable in that kind of environment you better listen to me it's just an illusion that's all it is thank you thank you come on we gotta get violent let's see him we gotta get violent with temptation it's an illusion don't listen to it it's the lust of the eye we are we are to live as those who live in a world system but are not absorbed by it for the world as we know it is quickly passing away can I tell you at the moment of death I'd have no problem getting this Ultra feel tonight if multi-millionaires that didn't know Jesus could talk to you the moment after they die the rich and the famous the Lifestyles of the Rich and the famous could talk to you right after they took that OD and right after they drew their last breath and lied after their brain waves start to stop moving and they died and their eyes were opened up and they saw that after world and they saw the horrible things John did you see me there let me tell you something tonight friend the world has done its best to paint the church up is a bunch of outdated archaic Fanatics that are trying to tell you there is only one way the world I tell you they they could we could give them a hand clap but don't do it they've done a great job in telling you that this is all archaic but if you'll just get your nose in the book if you'll just see that there is a bride of Christ that has kept herself without spot without wrinkle if you could just see it if you could just see it you know what's problem is there's too many people that get their eye on people walking out to this preaching and not about the people that stay seated if Jesus had people get up and walk out on him who does Kenny Ray Carpenter think he is that I won't have people get up and walk out on me but my question is tonight not how many hundreds do we have here but God did you see me and John was on there John did you see me John did you see me there your pastor's wife got the baptism of the Holy Ghost God baptized her and she got the Holy Ghost she got baptized you hear me tonight young people because the devil would like to tell you that there's never been a generation that has faced it like you have that's a lie when God filled your pastor's wife with the Holy Ghost she played basketball for Alcoa and she was a very good basketball player you can believe that tonight because anything that girl sets her mind to do she exceeds at it she was a good great basketball player but when she got home that night that next morning without a Bible study given to her without anybody telling her how she ought to dress brother white she got up that morning and put on a pair of Levi jeans and she said when I put those jeans on I got sick to my stomach and I knew that these did not belong upon me she goes back to her junior high school and she tells her coach she tells her coach I can no longer play basketball I can no longer dress out and play basketball you're throwing things away Penny Penny you've got what it would be in you to go on you've got Hazard every kid been told he's got it in him to play college ball he's got it in him to be the NFL or the NBA or or or the whatever golf whatever PGA or whatever you want to call it lies lies lies and what would it do brother Chase and brother Nolan if you did became the future Tiger Woods if you did it at the cost of John did you see me there John was I around the club now come to the Holy Ghost in This House tonight young girls made fun of her classmates made fun of her quitting school have you heard what penny did lately have you heard what penny did lately go ahead go ahead we put that on the building fund we'll put that on the building in front of something go ahead and there's a little custom that we do if you're here you're new here you know dollars to give to missions and and I said a hundred dollars and sooner that hundred dollars came and I said you know what this is a 200 sermon a thousand dollar sermon I believe the for the night was over there was like four thousand dollars laying on the so so people now when I get to preaching like I am tonight they're glad to have this voice and they're glad to have this in their life hey that was a young mother that walked up here the that was a young mother that walked up here that's the way I want my daughter to hear it that's the way I want my son to hear it that's the way I want my what I remembered about the young woman she had a baby in this arm she was obviously pregnant that little child holding on to her pants and as the conversation between sister carpin and the lady evolved it was a good ball partner team team player with her and the woman I heard the woman say this baby belongs to this man this baby belongs to another man a fart mother fart by no means trying to gloat say we're better God does have a better life for you that's got a better life oh sweet Holy Ghost oh sweet holy ghosts he said Penny do you remember she called the boy's name that's his baby she called another boy's name he said that's his baby still remember her taking her hand and rubbing her stomach and saying and I really don't know who this one is then the words came out of her mouth Penny when you left we all admired you for what you were doing she said Penny I know there were some that gave you a hard time but behind the locker doors we talked about how you were doing what all of us wanted to do tell you tonight does it make such Carpenter better than that woman I I just the Holy Ghost just needs to take over that's all I can say the Holy Ghost just needs to take over right now go go ahead Sweet Holy Ghost pull people to the altar God pulled people to the altar aren't you aren't you tired of going with the crowd why don't you step out of your seat tonight devil I'm tired of you I'm tired of following the crowd I don't even want to follow I don't like drinking I don't like smoking I don't like the atmosphere I just go with the crowd John John did you see me John did lifestyle you're living come on you don't even like what you got at home you don't even you don't even like you don't even like it you don't even like the taste of your beer you don't even like the taste of your cigarette you don't even like the taste of the marijuana good job did you see me John oh I want you to lift your voice up like trumpets I want you to lift your voice up like nobody like you don't care I don't care what the crowd thinks come on come on come on God's gonna do something for you tonight foreign God's gonna do something for you that's gonna do something for you tonight I believe the Holy Ghost wants to move upon us right now I believe the Holy Ghost wants to move on us right now oh God in the name of Jesus yes church tonight God has brought you to a place where you can put some things on the altar God has stirred you up tonight God has put you in a place you can place some things on the altar come on there's things you need to go on the altar tonight their spirits that need to go on the altar tonight there's attitudes that need to go on the altar tonight oh God Deliver Us from being cynical God Deliver Us from being cynical oh come on come on come on
