well if he has helped you tonight would you stand to your pain and give him some praise right now in the house yes he did and yes he can come on if you're recipient of the mighty hand of God would you just give you some praise right now there is a spirit of Victory here in this house there is a spirit of Victory here in this house now you won't find this word in the dictionary I don't believe but I want to be smack dab in the middle of it all right you might not find smack dab Daniel Webster's Dictionary snap smack dab means I'm gonna be right in the middle of it or as one songwriter wrote years ago I want to be under the spout where the glory comes out that's how we sing it in the South I want to be under the spout where the glory comes out but if my good brother Woodward is watching from Canada they would say I want to be under the spoof where the glory comes ooped but it doesn't matter tonight right I want to be under the spout where the glory comes out there's been such a reach and get your Bibles and go to the Book of Leviticus chapter number six and verse number eight there's been such a tremendous anointing here at the end of the message this morning it's almost like a river has been released and the power of God and the presence of God has been so real so thankful that song about heaven isn't that wonderful a song about heaven I I want to thank you Sister Erickson for your burden to lead the apostolic movement in writing songs that refocus us more back on what we're all about as the people of God I'm glad for every song that talks about running out of a cave all right but I don't just want to sing about running out of a cave because there's coming a time when a trumpet is going to sound and the dead in Christ are going to rise first we which are alive and remain are going to be caught up together in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air so shall we ever be with the Lord we're on a time limit here I know a lot of people living like they're never going to die but you're going to die someday when we all get to heaven what a day of rejoicing that will be when we all see Jesus we will sing and shout the victory somebody said I don't want to go to heaven your prerogative you don't have to go to heaven but you can't stay here Leviticus chapter 6 and verse number eight and the Lord spake unto Moses saying command Aaron and his son saying this is the law of the burnt offering it is the burnt offering because of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning and the fire of the altar shall be burning in it go to verse number 12. same chapter verse number 12. and the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it it shall not be put out and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning and lay the burnt offering and Order upon it and he shall burn there on the fat of the peace offerings verse 13. the fire shall ever be burning upon the altar it shall never go out for a few moments on this Sunday night to charge us up to go and reach a lost world I want to preach to you this simplest thought keep the fire burning keep the fire burning precious God tonight we love you we praise you Lord we are your children you're our almighty god father we dedicate Our Lives solely to you you're the joy in our song You're the joy in our life Lord tonight for the next few moments would you anoint me that I may speak your word that we may go out into our community God and spread this precious gospel Lord be with us for the next few moments tonight in Jesus name we pray amen and amen you may be seated keep keep the fire keep the fire burning keep the fire burning God is giving Moses the instructions for worship is giving Moses the instructions on how the burnt offering and why it is called a burnt offering why it is called a burnt offering is because there was one particular offering that was to always be on the altar 24 7. from the morning throughout the night it was to be an offering upon the altar and it's referred to as the burnt offering we understand that it was the priest's obligation it was the priest's obligation of the butchering of the animal of the cutting of the animal the slaying of the animal but this Burning upon the altar all night long this it shall never go out could not be accomplished by the priest alone it would take an order for this scripture to be fulfilled it would not only take the priests keeping the fire on the altar burning but it required the people in Israel to continually bring the fuel for that fire and the fuel for that fire was wood so in order for this to be accomplished it wasn't something that the pulpit only could accomplish wasn't something that the priesthood only should could accomplish but it involved it involved all the 12 tribes of Israel if they were going to keep the fire burning as God had instructed them to keep that fire to keep the fire burning that it should always that it should always be burning upon the altar now we must understand as we study the scripture that in Leviticus chapter 9 verse number 23 that this fire that was to ever be burning on the altar and this fire that was to never go out it was to never go out you read verses 12 and 13. you'll notice see God said specifically about the fire it shall not be put out it shall not be put out that would be intentional that would be intentional to intentionally put out the fire he said don't you intentionally put this fire out and then in verse number 13 He said the fire shall never go out that would be through neglect you could just not put more wood on the Altar and the fire would naturally go out but you see this wasn't any ordinary fire church for it was not a man-made fire man did not make this fire man had made a lot of fires but this fire was not this fire was not man-made in the Leviticus chapter 9 in verse number 23 Moses and Aaron have got all the altars ready they've got all the Tabernacle ready and in verse 23 Moses and Aaron went into the Tabernacle of the congregation and came out and blessed the people and the glory of the Lord appeared unto all the people and there following closely in verse 24 and there came out a fire from before the Lord that came out a fire from before the Lord and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat thereof which when all the people saw they shouted and they fell on their faces so what makes this fire this fire that God said don't you ever put it out and this fire that God said don't you ever let it go out was unlike any other fire because God made this fire God gave them this fire and then God said to them now that I've given you the fire it's left up to you to never let it go out I want to skip a few pages in my sermon tonight and tell you God has given First Apostolic Church of Maryville a fire God has given given us his presence God has given us his favor his life-changing fire this fire that falls in this house is not man-made this fire that falls in this house is not a denomination this fire that falls in this house is did not originate on this Earth but the fire that falls in this house fell from heaven on the day of Pentecost and gave the church the fire now Church how about it are we ready to keep the fire burning I never want this to go out tonight I never want the power and the presence of God I tell you we've got a city around us that's hoping the Fire doesn't go out here we've got people that don't even attend this church that when life Falls in on then they call this church you know why they call this church because they know where the fire is at we've been given and that's not braggadocia that's not bragging tonight that's bragging on Jesus we got a fire here that a man didn't start we got a fire here that a denomination didn't start we got a fire that heaven she been burning for 2 000 years she's been burning in any location on the planet where people will keep it burning and never let it go out it fell it fell over a hundred years ago and denominations across the United States accepted the fire but as those denominations begin to prosper in material things and educational levels they decided that they got too educated for the fire they got too educated they got too materialistic to the fire they got too busy for the fire and they wanted to keep the fire and and tell the fire well Summer's here and we've got to dismiss our services all summer because you know people are going hither and thither and so they said we'll be back in the fall but when they came back in the fall they'd done found out that the fire went out but not here church not here church we understand vacation comes but we're going to keep the doors of the house of God open not here Church some denominations some places reached a certain number their goal was to reach a number and when they reached the number they got satisfied nobody else needs the fire but not here as long as there's one Soul walking the streets of our city without the fire of the Holy Ghost I'm under a mandate from God to keep the fire burning and not to let it go out but you know what I'm thankful for tonight I'm glad I'm not here all by myself because it takes more than the pulpit to keep the fire burning it takes the congregation thank God I did a little research did a little research on the oldest fire and I found out if you have that picture the longest burning natural fire in the world was yet discovered is a burning coal seam in New South Wales Australia beneath mount wingen It is believed to have started five thousand years ago when lightning struck the cold scene where it reached the Earth's surface today the fire is now burning around a hundred feet underground at is as it has slowly eaten away at the scene can you imagine that for five thousand years a continual natural fire has been burning on this Earth but that fire is just for facts tonight that fire doesn't change a life that fire doesn't give direction that that fire doesn't find a lonely woman and fills her with joy unspeakable and full of Glory that fire doesn't find an individual that life has fallen apart or they're in a bondage of sin and set them free you can line every attic up at that 5 000 year old fire and they'll just walk away with a fact in their mind but if we can get them to the fire that fell on the day of Pentecost it's life-changing it's life-changing this fire is life changing Spire that they said should never should never go out it's God's fire it's the fire of God it's God's fire and I'm here to tell you today it's God's fire and we don't need any cheap imitations we don't need any cheap imitations now I'm going to tell you something you can love the joy of a fireplace and you can go and you can for 99 dollars at Walmart you can buy you a fireplace plug it up just plug it up it'll glow and it'll even give you some of them heated you'll even sit there and think man this is a fireplace but can I tell you excuse the grammar ain't nothing like the real thing I said there ain't nothing right like the real thing because the real thing when you walk away from a real fireplace everything in the house smells like the fireplace you can get around gas logs and it don't bother you but you get around a real wood burning fire and you'll go out to eat lunch and somebody'll sniff around on you and somebody will say man you've been around a fire today you better believe it I gotta I got a real fireplace you might say well let me tell you about religion religion is tried to put this in The Bargain Basement sale of the rummage sale of Salvation religion has tried to make this as cheap to get to as you can they've kept the price they've done everything you don't even have to do anything anymore to be saved there's some denominations telling you that you were predestined to be saved can't do nothing to be unsaved didn't do nothing to be saved what a what a plan that is but can I tell you do you smell like the fire do you smell like the fireplace does people begin to look at you on your job and say hey wait a minute buddy something different about you it's something different about you I've been working on with you at the factory for many years but there's something different you tell me what's happened what new drug are you taking what new drink are you taking what new what what new classes are you taking man about two months ago I stumbled into an Apostolic Church on a Sunday night and a fire of God was falling and before I knew it I done had my hands lifted and I was warming myself and God filled me hey come on people there ain't nothing like being filled with the Baptist come on Church ain't nothing like the real ain't nothing like the real fireplace ain't nothing like the real like the real fireplace the real fire you see this chip these cheap imitations that are happening today and and uh well that's them But as time goes on I want to beg and plead and I'm so thankful tonight for the for the leadership I'm so thankful tonight for brother Erickson sister Eric said I'm so thankful tonight brother and sister ham and I'm so thankful tonight brother's sister Carpenter Nolan and Flannery I'm so thankful tonight for the Pastoral team I'm so thankful tonight for the leadership of this church I'm so thankful for the leaders of this church I'm so thankful for the elders brother Ammons and his wife but let them categorize all the rest I'm so thankful for the leadership of this church you know why we're not pressuring the pulpit for a different fire well it's a different day it might be a different day but we need the same fire give me that old-time religion give me that old-time religion if it was good for my father it's good for me give me that old-time religion that's what we need tonight we don't need a cheap fire while people are more in bondage tonight than they've ever been in their whole life we don't need a flick lighter we don't need an imitation fireplace we need a real Holy Ghost Fire that falls from heaven you can't control it you can't you you can't control it you can't say well it's going to get this one it might Bounce from that one to that one to that one how is it it's just are you wanting the fire I want the fire god I want the fire right here God I don't want now see this I'm only thankful for the people I mentioned that I am thankful for our youth group here at this church I'm thankful for our YouTube you see in Leviticus chapter 10. verse number one there was some youth that were there was some youth that saw how the fire fell and the Bible says in the Leviticus 10 and verse number one listen nadab and abahu the sons of Aaron took either of them his censor and put fire therein and put incense thereon and offered Strange Fire before the Lord which he commanded him not going to stop right there for a moment let's stop right there looked and they liked the way that their fathers carry the sensors they like the way that the people watched Aaron and Moses carry the sensors they watched them as the glory of God would fall in Old Navy who said you know what we would like to have that in our lives they went and got their sensors and here's their fatal mistake you see it in verse one they offered Strange Fire before the Lord Strange Fire what is Strange Fire every Bible commentary will tell you just about all the ones I've read will tell you it was fire that didn't come from the altar it didn't come from that God made fire it came from a man-made fire you see we want more than you just to shout we want more of this to come and to have a time of great praise and great worship we want that fire to cause a change in your life when you leave here we want that fire not to make excuses for the way that you're living but we want that fire to make a Deliverance said they offered strange fire can I tell you that there's a price to be paid to gather the wood there's a price to be paid for this fire there's consecration there's repentance there's prayer rooms there's praying there's searching of the heart God searched my heart and know my ways to get this fire but the Strange Fire The Strange Fire The Strange Fire you don't have to repent just sing the song The Strange Fire you don't have to live right just build a church get in the mix and sing about coming out of the cave sing about all that just just go ahead and get all whipped up in an emotion but can I tell you that's a Strange Fire well I'd go down to that Apostolic church I I'd go down to that Apostolic church but that you know that Holiness they preach hey you better not put it out you know why we got the power around here is because somebody's willing to pay the consecration of Holiness what we've got tonight is real but what we've got tonight isn't cheap it comes at a price comes at a price you just don't turn the fire on on Sunday morning at 10 o'clock and turn it back on on Sunday night at six o'clock and turn it back on it Wednesday night at 7 30. no the fire that we feel and I believe you said it right tonight brother Hammond it seems like we're always coming in the midst of a great service you know why it's not what happens between 10 and 12 on Sunday or 6 and 8 on Sunday night or 7 30 to 9 on Wednesday night it's not what happens there it's what happens with you all in between those times there's prayer meetings there's repentance there's people reaching out for God there's people praying there's people all over our County there's people all over our County you're here tonight all over our County in bedrooms and living rooms before they get up to go to work and they're calling out on God you know what you are you're a wood gatherer tonight you're somebody that's keeping the power burning because a prayerless church will let the fire go out but give me some prayer warriors give me some prayer warriors no don't let don't let the fire go out don't let the fire go out don't let the fire go out brother Nolan but no one come on up here for a minute is calling here tonight is yeah Colin you don't know if you're buddy come on everybody give Colin a hand remember you might want to get a microphone just for a minute I'm gonna talk about this young man for a second you get a microphone you know so tell us about this young man's ability in golf first of all Miss coach so um he uh last couple weeks he we had a tournament um five-star prep Invitational insta it's basically one of the biggest tournaments in high school it's the opening term for high school golf season and they invited cars is that in our our city that's the city Knox County Blount County uh there's some teams from Morristown basically just East Tennessee as a whole okay and so he played the first day played really good and uh then the second day he teed off at almost seven in the morning he buried the first hole Birdie the second hole Birdie the third hole Birdie the fourth hole we don't understand it just tell us what he did okay that means a very good 600 bar through six holes end up shooting 66. is that good that's very good all right that's very good okay ended up winning the tournament win the whole tournament yes number one number one yeah that's not talking about yesterday the week before that he uh we had our first team tournament and uh it was a one day and he shot one day tournament he shot 66 was for 600 part and uh several teams there what is this alcoholic or what is this Apostolic yeah and I got to tell him through through our Channel winning because he's got a mama and a daddy sister Kano does not like our new polos that have just the at the athletic a logo right she said she come to me she said I do not like those I like the ones that say Apostolic yeah that's his mama and his daddy now I'm gonna tell you something let me tell you what he's really good at he's been baptized in Jesus name yeah and he's filled with the baptism of the Holy Ghost and I don't understand that birdie and Bogle and eagle and bogey or bogey I don't understand all that but I understand one thing he's ready to go to heaven yeah he'd been baptized in Jesus name he'd been filled with the Holy Ghost and he's a worshiper yes he is and he's a great golf player and you know we're not just saying this but this young man's got the potential of one day playing professional golf sure absolutely all right but I'm going to tell you what I guarantee you if he does he's got a mama that's going to tell him Colin I don't care when you play but you are going to church on Sunday now now I want y'all to this thing's hot it sings Hot tonight it's got fire on it I'm gonna tell you something this is where we learn in the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth ain't they no Evolution they ain't no monkey turned into a man I'm going to see King Jesus not King Kong but it's more than just a book about creation it's a book to tell you how to be born again yeah it's a book that says believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ it's a book that says repent of your sins it's a book that says be baptized it's a book that says receive a holy ghost talking in other tongues yes my my mom that book's got fire in it I'm gonna tell you something tonight as long as I got breath in my body we need to get excited about this book oh don't you ever let it go out don't you ever let the fire go out don't ever that's all right don't she don't she ever let it don't you ever let it go out come on put some wood on it tonight put some more praise on it tonight I'm glad that I'm one of them I'm glad I've been buried I want you to get a hold of this book my my my y'all feel as much well you get a hold of one part of it and only you get up now let me tell you about an old custom you say about an old customer and okay you may be seated an old custom in South America when they needed to move fire from one place to another because they reverence fire many of them would say my great-grandfather started that fire That Fire Lord have mercy that fire has been in our family for a long long time well my great-grandfather had this fire my grandfather got this fire my daddy had this fire I was sent to Strong Tower camp and I got this fire but they said when you get ready to move the fire he would charge the young men it was the young people that moved the fire it was the young men that moved the fire y'all listen to me now you young ladies and young men listen to me tonight except for you to move the fire don't you marry no girl that don't like the fire and girl don't you marry no boy that don't lock the fire well how do I know he acting like he's they got he's acting like he's got the fire when you get the Holy Ghost and Fire you act like you got the Holy Ghost in fire well what's that look like they raised their hands well what does look like they opened their mouth well what that look like they get in the choir well what's that look like they they praise and worship God every father in here and every mother in here it's got an unmarried son or daughter ought to Pat me on the back before I leave tonight yeah because I don't want my kid now my grandkids I don't want them grandbabies marrying somebody don't like the fire they ain't gonna fit in with Carpenter family you don't like the fire you ain't fitting in here you don't like going to church you know don't don't marry that girl don't marry that boy don't hold no don't do it that because if they don't lock the fire they don't fit in here I don't care what okay I don't care what political party they are I I uh You better lock the fire and people move in around here so we're checking you out and I tell them too I'm checking you out because you don't like the fire you ain't gonna like it around here if you're Apostolic and you have to ask what tongues and interpretations mean probably you're not gonna like the fire around here when they'd move the fire the old Elder in the tribe would get up with this bow and arrow and he would pull it back and he would say we're moving the fire it's up to you to keep it going if you let the fire go out I'm gonna kill you that's why leadership is so important in this church because if we sense they're going to let the fire go out we need to kill them not literally kill their influence because we don't want influence here that does not fire influence we don't want 99 Fire insert people around here we want people that'll dig a footer we want people that'll lay the brick we want people you know hey you you don't have to do all that anymore to have a fireplace I know that but there's nothing like the real thing Nolan you got the fire Colin you got the fire you're going to move the fire you're going to take the fireplaces I'll never go but if you ever let it go out I'm going to kill you if you ever come on move it a little bit I'm in the wind's blowing the wind's blowing the wind's blowing a Wednesday what do you do when the wind's blowing and you want to keep something lit what do you do huh yeah that's what you do why are you doing that because if we let the fire go out God help anybody but lets the fire go out in their family if you are the last person in your family if everybody in your family has decided for a 99 Fire insert from Walmart and you're the only one standing upon this precious glorious Holiness message tonight for God's sake you are a flicker in that family protect that flame don't don't let it don't let it go out come on how many people here tonight how many saints of God here tonight will lift up your head I don't want the fire to go out oh God come on come on lift up your voice I don't want the fire to go out thank you how will the day of Pentecost all over again I want Miracle signs and wonders all over again I don't they stay up here with me for a few minutes just to stay up here with me the Bible says the Bible records by the column that they sought after idols and for hundreds of years the fire burnt on that altar but when the children of Israel begin to commit idolatry God had them taken into Babylonian captivity and the fire went out on the altar the fire that started in Leviticus 9. the fire that came from the Lord burn out 70 years Israel was without a symbol of God they came back after 70 years and rebuilt the temple they rebuilt it but they only went as far as a foundation no fire from God but John the Baptist comes across the horizon and John had a message in Matthew 3 and 10. and now also the acts is laid at the root of the trees therefore every tree which bringeth forth not good fruit is you down and cast Into the Fire I indeed have baptized you unto with water under repentance but he that cometh after me as mightier than I whose shoes I am not worthy to Bear he shall are you with me church he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire he stand is in his hand he will thoroughly Purge his floor gather his weed into the Garner but he will burn up the chap with unquenchable fire and friend two thousand years ago a fire started two thousand years ago a fire started it's still falling in this house it falls regularly in this house this fire started in Acts chapter 2 verse number one look at it we need to look at the fire again and when the day of Pentecost was fully come they were all with one Accord in one place suddenly there came a sound from Heaven as of a rushing Mighty Wind it filled all the house where they were sitting and there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as a fire and it set upon each of them and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and begin to speak with other tongues as the spirit gave them utterance it went from 120 through to verses 1 through 4 100 call it 120 received it between verse 1 and verse 4 120 received it but Acts 2 38 said then Peter said unto them repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost you see this fire is wanting to spread this fire is one to spread I'm glad that it's bread to my family I'm glad that my mother was in a denominal church living for God doing all that she knew to do suffering from asthma but the phenomenal preacher would not anoint her with oil because the denomination didn't believe in anointing that she was suffering with asthma that she got to listening to a radio program at one o'clock in Knoxville Tennessee he called the voice of Pentecost and she heard that preacher say I God is the same yesterday today and forevermore our God is still a Healer my mother called that preacher who was Reverend Billy McCool they came to our house and brother McCool anointed my mother with oil in the name of the Lord and my mother never suffered again from an asthma attack but let me tell you the good part let me tell you the good part my mother got baptized in Jesus name and the fire and the fire and the fire fell on my mother oh I'm glad I'm glad the fire fell on my mama because a few years later a few years later my mama put me in a Christian School and Midway through that school the fire fell upon me and I got the fire folks tonight this is all about the fire we don't have a daycare sister Rachel we don't have a daycare just to have a daycare we're a fire spreader we're a fire spreader come on up here right now come on come on running we don't have a school we don't have a school we got something that the fire can get on these young men and these two young men right here baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost because the fire cherished don't let hair down his back I'm going to tell you he you couldn't tell if he was coming or going I mean he had hair had it hanging down remember had it hanging down and hanging down and aren't you thankful any any type of dry wood catch on fire that's right that's right they didn't they just have to be dry and all was he ever drive you know I talked to him a little bit and I got talking to you you you you actually uh you're not part of the family right no I didn't think so with these minutes you don't know who's the family okay I mean yeah I never stays a lot there yeah I noticed Brother David kind of set we'll decide I got to talking to him why'd you talk to him because I won't spread fire don't tell you know the preacher called me the other day he just tried to set a fire don't do I wanted to get on them before they know it's on them I started talking to him boy started telling me Christmas time was going to be rough because I think you you just lost your wife and uh he said it's rough man we just kind of prayed together that night and come up here and took some pictures in the lobby and next thing I knew or walking forward backward boy showed up to church the next thing we know conviction fell on him and he received the baptism of the Holy Ghost and they've both been baptized in Jesus name I said they've both been baptized in Jesus oh we've got a fire there's a fire burning here there's a fire burning place Inspire Church now now we gotta keep on we gotta keep a wood where'd he go oh you're right here I thought you'd done spun out here just remain standing I want you to know elder brother John Stone and brother John Stone a week or so ago I was never so amazed at 130 people that showed up on a Monday night to hear about how to teach a Bible study a hundred and thirty fire starters if we will all catch fire it's no telling what God's going to do with First Apostolic Church let me say it again if we can all catch fire you know telling what God's going to do with us witness to us witness to your waitress tonight you can witness to her a good or him good by leaving a good tip and you can witness to the restaurant good if your little children carry the place apart you're watching or not Aubrey's we're coming little waitress there says Cartman got the witnessing to her she's part of the people that have had to leave the Ukraine had to leave Ukraine and come here we tipped her unbelievably good because we want to start fire you think about somebody being displaced from their country I'd say they may just be hungry the last time we were in there she came up and she was kind of sad she said I got to tell you all she said we'll be leaving she said they're placing us and I don't know who's doing the placement they said they're placing Us in Brooklyn New York
