Night 2 of Tri-State District Camp-meeting | Bishop Carpenter “A Dirty Church House Floor”

great is the lord and greatly to be praised you may be seated this evening you know a lot of people say jesus jesus is all you need jesus is all you need well you can't appreciate that statement till jesus is all you got you ever been to a place when jesus is all you got but do you know that he's more than enough when he's all that you got name above every name and i give him praise tonight i give him i give him praise what a wonderful message or messages we heard this this morning from brother loveless and brother bridges don't ever get tired of hearing about the name of jesus don't ever get tired of hearing about their you won't get so progressive that you'll forget the name of jesus and i thank god that was a wonderful message would you give brother bridges and brother lovelace a hand bridges preached to us about loving the man of god loving the man of god and loving the things of god and just down where the he preached down where the rubber meets the road just just down to where you become a servant of god and i appreciate appreciate what we heard today you know a special thanks i want to give this evening to this host church and you know when you know the price the bible said they turned the water into wine it says the people that tasted the water that had been turned into wine which was the best wine it said they knew not but there's a little little phrase there that said but the servants knew you know a lot of times we enjoy the finest in the church but the servants know the people that are behind the scenes and such a spirit of excellence here from from the parking lot to uh being ushered through the building um just if you would just give this host church and their wonderful staff would just give them a hand right now i mean just an excellent job to open up their facilities and the queen of sheba made a statement she had heard about the fame of solomon's house she had heard about it and she came but after she got there she made a statement she said the half was not told me said i i so i heard a lot about this place but said you left out half of it and the half that wasn't told her she tells us she says happy are thy servants that wait on thee continually you see it's one thing to serve but it's another thing to serve with a happy spirit [Applause] i've been served at a restaurant by many waitresses and waiters they served me but i can't say they serve me with a happy spirit but i have been served by people that were glad to go back and get that extra side of ranch dressing and that extra this and that extra that and we're here at fac of knoxville i'm going to tell you we're not just being served but we're being served this evening by happy people i believe they deserve another big hand right now [Applause] a few months ago when sister carpenter and myself were in santiago chile and brother salinas and his beautiful family that's here put together a meeting there and we were just having church and of course i understand i speak very little spanish and um uh there was a translator that that that was there and so it came time for sister carpenter to get up and speak and and i must tell you i was kind of engrossed in my notes looking over what i was going to say when all of a sudden she shouts in the microphone so most familia and that place went absolutely wild they started clapping and jumping and i thought as my wife started a riot down here what in the world so i leaned over to the translator and i said what is my wife saying she's saying we are family we are family and tonight whether you're from boone or newland or clinton or hall's crossroad so most familia we are family we are family we are family brother hosack thank you thank you this evening for a wonderful job of informing us of giving of giving to missions and he did brother hosack did an excellent job tonight he reminded me a lot of people quote scripture that they're not qualified for they'll just take a scripture and quote it and they don't understand you have to qualify for that verse you just can't pick it out and quote it and think it's going to be i've heard a lot of people that'll say well and they're in a trial and they'll say well he said i'll never leave you nor forsake you even to the end of the world amen well you've got to qualify for that verse the verse before that says go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature so you just can't get that one verse pastor whitley and just say you know he's going to be with me always to the end of the world amen you've got to qualify that verse by being busy preaching the gospel there's another verse there's there's another verse my god shall supply all of your needs according to his riches in glory well you don't just start there the verse before that paul was thanking a certain individual that he sent offering after offering after offering after offering then paul said my god shall supply all of your needs according to his riches in glory well i'm saying all that to say this tri-state district we qualify for the presence of god and we qualify to have god supply all of our needs according to his riches in glory you know a lot of honor is given to our bishop bishop mccool and rightfully so and we will honor we will honor and honor and honor him but i want to take just a moment and i want to honor and i'm going to tell you i asked her for i asked her permission today if i could call her this [Music] over a year ago we said goodbye my my sister kathy is here tonight and we had to say goodbye to our mother a little over a year ago and uh i asked sister mccool today i've always referred to his sister mccool but i asked her today i said would i be would it be offensive and i won't do it can i refer to you from now on as mother mccool can i call you mother mccool because truly you know she is a mother to all of us what a great example i untold pastors wives go ahead that's right untold pastors wives today had a tremendous example that was given to them isn't that the truth how many of you pastors wives tonight she was that pattern she was that one that you looked at come on could you give a big hand to mother mccool tonight i give you honor mother mccool i give you honor you would remain standing with me this evening i want to read the word of the lord and thank you pastor mccool for the remarks of being of being at home and i certainly do i certainly do feel that this evening if you have your bibles and would turn with me to the book of numbers chapter 5 the book of numbers chapter 5 and verse number 29 the book of numbers chapter 5 and verse 29 and uh i want to wish and and just so most familiar we're family but i want to wish my blood sister kathy fowler a happy birthday today and i wish her a happy birthday and she is the only sister that i have and i've got many messages on my answering machine kenny this is the only sister you have return my call all right so happy birthday kathy numbers chapter 5 and verse number 29 this is the law of jealousies when a wife goeth a side to another instead of her husband and is defiled or when the spirit of jealousy cometh upon him and he be jealous over his wife and shall set the woman before the lord and the priest shall execute upon her all this law i'm reading verses 29 and 30. now i want to go back up to verse number 17 of which i'm going to gather my my title tonight verse 17 of numbers five and the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel and of the dust and of the dust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take and put it into the water i want to preach a few moments tonight and gather us all back up in the altar and see if the lord will just come in and move among us tonight but i want to preach on this subject a dirty church house floor a dirty church house now i'm not no i'm not talking about this place here all right a dirty church house floor now here's what i want us to do i want us all to pray and i want you to pray loud enough that you can hear yourself pray we should pray loud enough that you can hear yourself pray i want us all to pray that god will come in and sit down upon us and the power of god will move among us would you pray loud enough that you can hear yourself pray mighty god i come before you tonight oh god i ask you lord to move among us tonight god lord i ask you god to come sit down upon us lord lord you know the needs that we have god you you know god what we have need of in this place lord you know every situation you know all the circumstances god you know those that are here that are wounded in their spirit god you know those that are here that are in the midst of a struggle god you know those that are here that hell has got an onslaught against their children you know all that are here tonight god that have prodigals in the name of jesus christ would you use me tonight god that i could speak to this church to this district lord god you answer prayer in jesus mighty name we pray amen now i want you to give the lord the best hand clap you've given him a dirty you may be seated a dirty church house floor one of the many wonderful benefits of the word of god is that it addresses and answers all of life's challenges and all of life's issues isn't that wonderful that the word of god has already addressed there's nothing that will ever come to your life that the word of god hasn't already addressed and given the answer for that means there's nothing that you or i will ever face that we will be without an answer or direction in the word of god the bible talks about the power of his word the power of his word in psalms 107 verse number 20 it simply says he sent his word and healed them he sent his word and and healed them we understand the power of the preached word of god now i understand there are heat there is healing that's available by the laying on of a believer's hand there's healing that is available understand that there's healing that is available by the anointing of oil by the elders of our church that god uses this method for healing but those two of the laying on of the hands or the anointing of oil is not only the only method of which god heals god's word is so powerful that while god's word is being preached somebody can be healed somebody can have a healing taking place in their life while the word of god is being preached the centurion told jesus he said i am not worthy that you would come under my roof but speak the word only and my servant my servant will be my servant will be healed we understand that in first corinthians 12 and 9 when they're talking about the gifts of the spirit that when they come to healing it is plural gifts of healing it's a plural gift because it's not just a gift of word of faith or gift of wisdom it is gifts of healing the reason the reason there's gifts plural is that there are multiple ways that we need to be healed take the demon-possessed man in the tombs there was a number of ways that he there are a number of healings that needed to take place in his life which did take place he was first healed mentally there are emotional healings that need to take place a lot of people are quick to want to hide uh uh mental disorders because because they're afraid that that that someone's going to think bad of them now they'll openly tell you they have the flu or they'll openly tell you they have some sickness in their body but they will hide the fact that they are suffering from mental illness and i want you to know tonight that god almighty has the power to heal all mental disorders whether it's depression oppression whatever it may be god oh yes he is god is our healer the man needed to be healed mentally he needed to be healed emotionally he needed to be healed physically he had cut himself with rocks and he needed to be healed physically the man needed to be healed the man needed to be healed socially the man the devil had stripped him naked and he was a social outcast but when the lord came he healed his mind and the lord came he healed his body and when the lord came he healed him socially and restored back his dignity that he could go home and tell his friends how great that jesus was for him i'm telling you there is there is power in the healing word of god as you study the old testament it amazes me and i came across these verses the other day and it's a verse it's a it's a law of jealousy that's what it's called the law of jealousy as a matter of fact bishop mccool it doesn't even say that there was a case of this doesn't even say a certain man or a certain woman it just gives the law of jealousy just the law of jealousy now we we know how damaging jealousy is to any relationship a person that is jealous cannot enjoy life they're envious they feel like everybody around them has an advantage on them and they they they they go through life always jealous over what someone else has while they're missing out what god has given them jealousy the bible describes it correctly is as cruel as the grave jealousy in an individual is cruel jealousy in a couple is cruel jealousy in a group of people is cruel and yes jealousy in a church can become a most cruel thing well it's simply in addressing the law of jealousy said if a man if a man just somehow believed in his heart that his wife had been unfaithful maybe she had the law of jealousy covers that she could have been unfaithful to him and no one saw her unfaithfulness no one was there to witness it no one would ever know about it but all of a sudden her husband begins to have the spirit of jealousy come upon him he can't prove it there's no way that he can find out is it true or not so now that relationship is absolutely being eaten away and corroded by this poisonous cancer of jealousy what do we learn what do we what do we do do we just do we just learn how to cope with this in our family i i want you to know something this evening that when the enemy begins to place things in your life and place things in your marriages and in your families we don't have to learn how to cope with it jesus is our healer jesus is our waymaker we don't just have to accept in life that this is simply the way that this is going to be in my personal life or in my marriage or in the family or in in the church so when this marriage was so troubled church this husband and wife and there was there was disunity among them and jealousy among them god gave away god gave away to give an answer and to address the issue and the answer begins with the man would bring his wife verse 15. then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest and he shall bring her offering for her the tenth part of an ephod barley meal he shall pour no oil upon it and no frankincense you see you've got to understand this is a this is going to be a sacrifice there's no oil there's no joy there's no frankincense there's no sweet aroma he brings it because it's an offering of jealousy the bible says that he brings that situation to the lord i know this is going to sound elementary but do you know that when we have issues the first place and the only place we need to bring them is the house of god can i tell you that what goes on in the house of god will heal you as an individual will heal your marriage will heal your family what goes on in the house of god come on give jesus a praise right now give him a praise right now he brings he brings her to the priest he brings her to the priest and then verse 16 and the priest shall bring her near and set her before the lord i'm going to tell you what any good pastor does he understands what john the baptist proclaimed i am not the christ i am not the christ the priest didn't just stand there and say okay i can solve this right here i've got all the answers the priest said it's time to turn to the one that has all of the answers because i am not the christ i'm not the christ but i know how to get to him the pastor is not the messiah but he knows how to take the word and connect you to the messiah he knows how to place you that's why we pastors are continually telling you to worship the lord praise the lord that's not a little bit of a commercial that we go through we're trying to say whatever else you we've got to get you into the presence of god and if we can get you into the presence of god he set her he set her toward he set her toward the ark of the covenant now there was another thing he did he took her veil off of her head it is commonly believed brother whitley by all the commentaries that this is a last moment mercy to get her to to confess for if they took that veil from that woman's head and one of the original translations says causing her hair to hang loose if they took that veil from her head and she had shortened her hair like the pagans that were around her that became a sure sign to the priest that you need to confess because if we go further with this law of jealousy there are several repercussions that are going to happen to you they loosed her hair it was there it was there that the bible tells us that the priest that the priest took holy water it was holy water it came from the laver it was holy water but then the bible says he took the dust of the temple floor he took the dirt from the temple floor and he mixed it with the holy water he took the dirt the dust from the temple floor and i should have known this wasn't gonna work these folks are too clean around here so today without my wife knowing i slipped down to the basement where our central vac system is and i brought some dirt from our central vac system there's a cigarette butt we'll check that out oh no it's not a pretzel i'm sorry i'm sorry everybody likes drinking holy water but there's some things in life that we'll never get a true answer to unless we can drink the concoction of the dirt from the temple floor and holy water mixed the bible says that he brought this concoction of holy water and dust from the temple floor and he placed it in her hands and he said i charge you that if you have gone aside and been with another man that as you drink this concoction of dirt and holy water king james is very modest in how he says this king james says it shall cause thy belly or thy thigh to rot and thy belly to swell king james is very modest what it simply says there you will no longer be able to reproduce you will no longer be able to bear any children if you are regarding iniquity and sin inside of your heart the concoction of holy water well i hope this is all right if you have something in your heart you will not be able to endure the dirt and the holy water and it will cause you never to reproduce sound like soul winter and you shall have the appearance of expecting you will walk around all of your life like you're about to give birth but you never do you'll walk around like people will think they're she's just about ready to give birth but she'll never give birth but now if you are truly repented and you are truly pure you will drink of the holy water in the dirt and it will produce just the opposite it will set you free number says and you shall conceive seed the heart condition determines whether the thigh rots whether you're never being able to reproduce or you're set free from all allegations and suspicions of people saying all kinds of things about you you'll be free from all of that and you will prove your identity you will prove your identity you will begin to reproduce and bear children but you have to endure the dirt from the floor of the tabernacle and the holy water mixed together [Applause] do you understand that man is being made from the dust of the ground man was made from the dust of the ground little boy little boy in sunday school heard the pastor teaching about we come from dust and we go back to dust later that afternoon at home he came running and told his mother he said mom the preacher said today we come from dust and go back to dust he said i was in the bedroom under my bed said somebody's in there either coming or going i don't know which that it is you understand we come from dust we've been made from the dust but that's not all you understand that the food of the serpent the devil the bible says in genesis 3 14 and every and and the lord god said unto the serpent because thou has done this thou art cursed above all cattle and above the beast of the field upon thy belly shalt thou go and dust shalt thou eat all the days of your life so we understand we made from dust and we understand that's what the enemy is eating is dust but can i tell you that the enemy has to stop at the water there's a lot of dirt and dust in our church and rightfully so we ought to all have a dirty church house floor whether we admit it or not we all do have a dirty church house floor you know why we have a dirty church floor is because we have flesh here and as long as there's flesh in the church not just talk about new converts i'm talking about old converts as long as we've got flesh in the church we will have a dirty church house floor but the truth is what do we do with the dirt in the church i'll tell you what we do we take it to the holy water we put it in the holy water it's dirt in the church the devil can't the devil can't go to the water the enemy wants you to emphasize the dirt in your church it's called gossip matter of fact i'll prove it to you when people want to tell you the bad they'll say i got the i got the dirt on them may god help us never to say that you might have some dirt but you better have some holy water because the only way we're going to prove our identity [Applause] the leaders fall in sin absolutely does choir members fall in sin absolutely do young people get out and do what they shouldn't do absolutely there's dirt you got people you got dirt but when they fail i am not going to throw them to the side i've got some holy water that i'm going to mix together let me let me go on for a moment pharaoh could only follow the children of israel to the red sea he could follow them to the red sea pharaoh could follow them to the red sea although they were led out by a pillar of cloud pharaoh in the blood of the the lamb pharaoh could follow them to the red sea but got good news for you that's as far as pharaoh could follow and it's interesting the diversity of the red sea the same sea that split and made a path of deliverance was the same sea that came back together and made a tomb for pharaoh oh can i tell you about the word tonight the word of god mixed with your dirt will prove to be your route of deliverance and there is where the enemy is collapsed in and the enemy cannot come in i've come to knoxville tennessee tonight to tell somebody that's got a little dirt on your face don't you hang your head it's time to mix the holy water together and it's time for there to be life [Applause] dirt happens in our church sometimes it's hands full of dirt and sometimes it's a tandem load of dirt sometimes it's just a little dirt and a little misdemeanor sometimes it's a huge load of dirt but what would we do i tell you what we do how we handle the dirt is going to determine who we are we can not only love sinners when they come in the church but we can also love people when they've come into the church and they find themselves falling on the floor and causing some dirt it's then in there that we can go and pick that brother back up or that sister back up and say come on you can get back in this race come on you can make it again oh i hope i talked to somebody tonight i hope i just black both of the eyes of the adversary tonight that some fallen young person or fallen man or woman will get some faith to get up and say i'm not what i used to be i don't know why i did that i don't know why i did that last summer but i'm not the man that i used to be [Applause] i'm talking about a dirty church house floor when you discover you've got dirt in your church that don't give you a license to jump to another church don't you ever dare don't you ever dare be in lafallette and they got some dirt that brother moses has got a dirty church house floor down there in la follette don't you ever get down in lafallette and think man i want to go over to the clinton church i don't think they've got any dirt over there you just don't know clinton is just as dirty as the fall it is you know what's going to show who we are let's stay right where we're at let's drink the good and the bad together let's drink that holy water together and it'll prove who we are there's nothing like seeing a fallen saint restored there's nothing like seeing a young man get back in the choir there's nothing like seeing a young woman get back in the sunday school there's nothing like seeing it happen dirty [Applause] pray loud enough that you can hear yourself pray right now hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah can i tell you tonight that there's nothing like seeing a young man or a and young woman you may be seated that had to meet in my office and get married because she was pregnant at a wedlock but the dirt doesn't end there they stayed in the house of god they stayed around the teaching they stayed around the holy water and now they're productive saints of god they're living for god they're serving god they're beneficial to the kingdom of god come on church we've got a dirty church house floor but we're able to take i'm close to home maybe seated i hope this is all right tonight but we specialize in dirty church floors i'm close to home but i have the permission to tell this several years ago my wife and i went taught a home bible study to a family they bought the truth they bought into the truth hook line and sinker they were new converts they got in the church they were coming to church they were living for god one sunday morning i got to missing them they'd been in church about six months i got to missing them and when service was over pastor mccool i had a text on my phone pastor as soon as you can it is an emergency please call me i called the man and the man told me that it had been bothering him that he had been unfaithful to his wife he had been unfaithful to her a few years before they got in the church he said every time i got down to pray he said it kept coming to me and he said so last night i confessed to my wife i had been unfaithful to her and said pastor my wife lost it and see we've been arguing through the night and our home is turned upside down is there any way you can help us please well you see through the help and the grace of god penny and i got married 38 years ago and by the help and the grace of the almighty god we may not have that dirt on our life but we are capable of having that dirt on our lives let he that thinketh he stand take heed lest he fall you've got to understand there's nothing going on out there in the world that if you were there you may be a partaker of so i can't have a judgmental spirit but as i'm getting ready to get my wife and let's go to their home immediately something hit me i had for several years ministered to a couple that had moved to maryville i knew their situation there was infidelity in their marriage they moved to get a new start and we had worked with their marriage they are very productive soul winners in the house of god today as i was getting ready to go it dawned on me i can't relate to this man penny and i can't sit down and say we know what you're going through and it dawned on me i got this family i gave them the address and i said i just want you to go to this home ring the doorbell and when the when the man answers the door i want you to tell him that i have sent you and then i want you to tell your story i want you to tell how you had dirt all over your marriage but by the help of god and the grace of god and the holy water poured out upon your life you have overcome two hours later i got a call a prayer meeting broke out in their home they will refill with the holy ghost they were in church on sunday night and that's been several years ago and they are today productive saints of god in the church your fall doesn't have to be fatal your your fall doesn't have to be the end dirt dirt dirt but bring me the word dirt but bring me the word of god dirk but bring me that restoration dirt dirt you may be seated a dirty a dirty church house floor don't ever think you're in cleveland don't come to knoxville it's dirty around here you're thinking you're going to come and find the saints perfected you're going to be of all men most miserable there's dirt all over the floor around here and you know what dirt is supposed to be on our floor now the story that i just told you do you realize that they brought the woman caught in the act of adultery into the temple now that's interesting because according to josephus the historian the temple that jesus was teaching in had beautiful black marble flooring so yeah so my question is it must have been dirty because he knelt down and wrote he used their dirt of the sanctified to deliver the sinner woman that was coming in you see before you get too smug in your two-piece suit and before you get too smug in that million-dollar dress you better never forget the pit from which you were drawn you better never forget that you're dirt because the only way we're going to keep winning the world is to have some dirt that we can use to deliver the saints [Applause] you may be seated if you're here tonight and you're suffering with drug addiction can i tell you before i knew the lord before i knew the lord before i knew the lord and i did get i got an anonymous letter and one fellow told me one time he said i got a unanimous letter i said i'd like to get those i i got an anonymous letter and it said please superintendent carpenter please do not tell that story again for i feel it is belittling to your office for you to tell that story again you cry me a river but before i got the holy ghost i used to unscrew the lid of the lawnmower gas tank put my nose down there and sniff as hard as i could to get some momentary high i used to buy a bottle of 99 cents uh spray paint spray it in a bag and pull it over my head and snip paint fumes i used to smoke marijuana i used to do all of those crazy things but oh friend when somebody let me come in the church when somebody said that dirty boy belongs here when somebody said when somebody said kitty's not trash kenny's treasure jimmy's got trash can he's treasure god delivered me god filled me with the holy ghost i got baptized i began to preach that's what almighty god that we serve what a dirty dirty dirty church house floor somebody shout unto god with the voice of triumph i would to god somebody that's been delivered would begin to leap right now for joy i would have got somebody been delivered it's a dirty it's a dirty it's a dirty [Applause] you may be seated let me preach on for a few more moments my god i feel the holy ghost come on let's pray for a moment i believe the holy ghost is moving here tonight i believe the holy ghost is moving right now here oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yes so dirty [Applause] [Music] you do realize bishop mccool you do realize there are two davids two two davids in the bible there's the one david that took his hand took a stone and a slingshot and defeated goliath and sam david took a pen and wrote some of the most beautiful psalms that we sing today but that same david not a different david but a dirty david took that same hand and wrote set uriah in the fourth most front of the battle and retire from him and let him be smitten and then had the audacity to fold it up and hand it to the man uriah and say deliver it to your captain same david same giant killer the same man that committed adultery and committed murder what changed him one verse i have sinned one verse changes david's life if we try to cover our sin we'll never prosper but david was willing david was willing to say i have sinned you ever noticed that the child that was conceived and born did not have a name the reason the child doesn't have a name the child didn't live to be eight days old it was eight days old when they circumcised a child that tells me tonight church that we don't need to linger long in our failure i am not a failure i am a saint of god have i failed you better believe it but i didn't linger there long i didn't wait for it to be a name i got it under the blood i got put back on course until my failure does not define who i am i i wish somebody would shout i am not a failure shout it again i am not a failure i'm not a failure i'm not a failure come on pastor pour the water on me i'm not a failure come on pastor i know you've got the dirt but i'm not a failure pour the water upon me i'm not [Applause] i read a pitiful story of years gone by there were twin boys in a town and both of these boys did not have mother and father to teach them the right way and so both of these boys would steal and you find them in your general store you kept an eye on them because those two boys would steal from you finally it was very cruel what happened to them the townspeople got together and branded branded on their forehead the letter s they will steal from you those two boys went into any store they were identified as the s on their forehead one of the twins could not bear up under this under the stigma that he had to wear on his forehead and one of the young boys at about the age of 17 climbed up on a high bridge and jumped to his death but his brother was determined that he could outlive the stigma his brother was determined that i'm going to prove to the town's people i'm a changed man i'm going to prove to them i'm different i'm going to prove to them my identity and the story says that that young boy lived to be about 80 years old and at that boy's funeral at that elderly man's funeral they were overheard a conversation some man said do you know what that s stands for on his head and they begin to talk do you know what the s stands for on his head did he serve in war do you know what it stands for and finally somebody spoke up and said i hear tell that that s stands for the word saint he was such a good man it stands for the word saint can i tell you tonight in the love of god that whatever stigma you may be wearing tonight by the word of god and the holy water and the mercy of god and the mercy of jesus christ you can turn your life around by the blood of the lamb [Applause] [Music] i don't know if this is camp meeting preaching or not you do know there's two elijahs don't you you may be seated you do know there's two elijahs one who could face 850 false prophets one who could say how long halt you between two opinions one who could pray a 58 word prayer and fire would fall from heaven one who could pray in a three and a half year drought would end but there's another elijah that crawls up under a bush and says god i've had enough i'm suicidal take my life ain't nobody in the church serving you there ain't nobody in israel living right that's a problem when we begin to wallow in dirt alone we begin to see everybody through the lens of dirt and we'll be we will begin to justify our life if we don't allow the holy water to elijah's but stay with him to the end he will anoint two kings he will throw his mantle upon elisha and elisha will be the new prophet and wait till you see him as he exits this earth he'll exit in a chariot of fire pulled by horses of fire two elijahs there's two john the baptist in the bible one who could say behold the lamb of god that taketh away the sin of the world the other that will say in the prison are you the christ or do we look for another but hold on to me there's two apostle pauls there's one that says i can do all things through christ which strengtheneth me there's one that says i'm persuaded that neither death nor life nor angels nor principalities nor powers nor things present nor things to come nor height nor doubting or any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of god which is in christ jesus our lord but wait till you hear the other paul in second corinthians 1 8 for we would not brethren have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in asia that we were pressed out of measure above strength in so much that we despaired even of life the nlt version says it this way we think we ought we think you ought to know dear brothers and sisters about the trouble that we went through in the province of asia we were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure and we thought we would never live through this two pauls two john the baptist two elijahs please don't anybody get up and think i'm blaspheming to jesus christ to jesus christ one can said if you had known
