Summary

Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.

Life in the Blood

  • The flesh with its life, which is the blood, is not to be eaten.
  • Whoever sheds man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed, for in the image of God He made man.
  • The standard God set around the taking of life is extraordinarily high.

Scriptures: Genesis 9:4-6

Made of One Blood

  • Paul declared that God made the world and all things in it, and gives life and breath to all.
  • God has made of one blood all nations of men to dwell on the face of the earth.
  • He recalls learning as a child that other children could use a fountain and a bus seat that he could not, and names that ignorance for what it was.
  • An apostolic church answers racism with the truth that God made all men of one blood.

Scriptures: Acts 17:24-26

Scripture index: Genesis 9:4-6; Acts 17:24-26.
