i'm going to teach a little bible lesson here and after i teach this bible lesson we're going to take a precious hungry young lady to the water and baptize her in jesus name this morning and i am so i am so thankful open your bibles with me to the book of psalms psalms chapter 98 and verse number two psalms chapter 98 and verse number 2 and then i'm going to be i'm going i'm going to read from genesis chapter 41 and verse 25. so psalms 98 and 2 the lord hath made known his salvation his righteousness hath he openly showed in the sight of the heathen the lord hath made known would you say those two words with me made no the lord has made known genesis 41 verse 25 and joseph said unto pharaoh the dream of pharaoh is one god hath showed pharaoh what he is about to do god had showed pharaoh the lord hath made known his salvation i want to teach this morning on three three words revelation inspiration and illumination revelation inspiration and illumination father i ask you today lord the most important thing in our life is your word we would would not know how to praise you we wouldn't know together together lord we wouldn't know anything about you if it wasn't for this word lord anoint me today in this hour that we become more rooted and grounded in our faith in your word anoint me anoint our ears anoint the hearts touch us today in jesus name amen and amen thank you for standing in honor of the reading of god's word why and i'm going to ask a series of questions why is the bible so essential to us why is the bible so essential i could ask another question that i don't have down in my notes but why is the bible so hated why would uh men and women in afghanistan at this very hour if they're caught with a bible or even an app on their phone they're immediately executed what is there to fear why why does hell fear this bible why is the bible essential why did god give us the bible his word now simple answers simple question and as a very simple yet profound yet profound answer god gave us this bible to make known unto us god wanted to make known unto us god wanted to make no his will and his way and god wanted for us to know his nature and his character we are given the word because god's will was to reveal himself so when you hold your bible in your hands understand that you're holding a book in your hands that god has given for one purpose to reveal himself god desires to reveal himself he is not a god of playing hide-and-go-seek he is not a god that delights he's not a god that has a house of mirrors like the county fair where you get in and try to find your way out god is more than willing to reveal himself to us therefore god has given us his word his word that bible brother hammond that you presently are clutching with both of your hands has been given by god to reveal himself to you and i so i hold this book of revelation we we kind of know one book in the bible that we call the book of revelation but really all 66 books is a revelation all 66 books is a revelation from our god to reveal his nature his will and his way now the revelation came this way it came from god to man and that's very important to see the nature of god to see that the revelation did not come man did not build a bonfire on earth and ask god's help god was willing to take the first step god was willing that's the god we serve that's the god that loves us that's the god who is for us he was the one that took the first step so the revelation the revelation came from god the revelation came from god to man man hears what god wants to reveal that's how we got the bible man hears what god wants them to hear man hears this i opened up and i want to go back to my text of psalms 98 verse 2. it sums it up the lord hath made known his salvation the lord hath made known his salvation now i want you to know that the bible contains enough information to get you to eternity but it doesn't contain all the information it contains enough to get you to heaven there's enough in the bible don't no no additives don't let anybody pedal to you an additive don't let anybody bring another document beside the bible and say that it is equal to the bible it is not equal to the bible it is not equal to the bible don't don't let anybody bring another document to the bible and and say that it is equal it is not equal there is enough and i hope i hope by the end of my bible lesson today that we appreciate and value our bibles more because it is a revelation from god now to show you that this is not enough you know i believe that if you and i would have witnessed the power of god in egypt on the egyptians that we may be satisfied that see him as a pillar of fire and a pillar of cloud now that that would be that would be pretty amazing to see him as a pillar of fire and a pillar of cloud or how about to see him as the one that made the way through the red sea or how about to see him as the one that brings water out of the rock but evidently we have within us an inquenchable desire to know god i want to know god i am not satisfied with where i'm at with god i want to know more about god and i don't think that i am alone in this although i have had in my life along with you i've had god do some pretty miraculous things in my life can i get a witness any of you in this room of course all of us that are born again have the greatest miracle but added to that there have been other things that we know that we know that we know that it was god he would just think that all that god has done for you and i that we would be satisfied but evidently not so we find in exodus chapter 33 verses 14 and 15 we find moses who witnessed all the power of god the miracles of god but we find moses in exodus chapter 33 verse 14 just saying to god i need your presence i need he's really saying i need to know more about you and in verse 14 god answers and says my presence shall go with thee and i will give thee rest now wait a minute isn't the cloud enough isn't the pillar of fire brother erickson enough isn't a red sea splitting enough isn't water out of a rock enough isn't quail coming down from heaven enough is it bread floating like snow flights to the ground enough evidently not because moses is saying god i need your presence doesn't that help us all here today in all that god has got for you and i and done all that god has done for you and i but don't we sit and stand here today in absolute worship and what are we saying god i want to know you more i want to know you more god he said my presence shall go with thee i will give thee rest listen to moses and he said unto him this is what moses says back to god if thy presence go not with me carry us not up hence he said that's right god if your presence it's wonderful that he destroyed egypt it's wonderful that he brought us out of egypt it's wonderful that he split a red sea it's wonderful he brought water out of a rock bred down from heaven and quail laying on the ground but god i'm currently standing here saying god that was yesterday i need your presence right now god and if i don't have your presence right now then carry us not up god says i'll go with you that's verse 15. eddie you see you think that'll be enough you think that would be enough but you go down to verse 18. listen to the same man verse 18 of the same chapter and moses said i beseech thee show me thy glory wait a minute i've told you i'm not going to go through the list again but now i've even told you i will presently be with you with my present but moses still stands there and says but would you show me your glory would you just simply show me your glory and you know that was a request that god answered and you and i better be glad god answered that request and i'll show you in just a moment he said god show me your glory god says in verse 19 and he said i will make all my goodness pass before thee and i will proclaim the name of the lord before thee and will be gracious to whom i will be gracious and i will show mercy upon whom i will show mercy and moses said and he said god said thou canst not see my face he said now you're asking for my glory but i'm telling you you can't see my face you cannot see my face for there shall no man see me and live and the lord said behold there is a place by me and thou shalt stand upon a rock and it shall come to pass while my glory passeth by that i will put thee in the cleft of the rock and i will cover thee with my hand while i pass by and i will take away my hand and i will take away my hand and thou shalt see my back parts but my face shall not be seen now you need to thank god that a man wasn't willing for a miracle and a man wasn't just willing for his presence because do you know who wrote the book of genesis in the beginning let there be light in the beginning god created the heavenly earth do you know who gives us the genesis account moses do you know who tells us the history of man the early history of man moses do you know how we stand in faith when atheists and evolutionists try to tell us that we're all the product of some kind of cosmic collision and some kind of just got some kind of billions of years of evolution you know how we stand bedrock in our faith because there was a man named moses that said god i got to know more about you god i know you've been my deliverer i know that you have destroyed egypt i know that you have split a red sea i know that you cause bread to come down from heaven and water out of a rock but god there i want to see your glory and god said moses i'm not going to show you you got to see the imagery here god has to use human imagery to get his point across he says you're not going to see my face in other words you're not going to see my future you're not going to see my future but i'm going to take you and put you in the cleft of the rock and i'm going to put my hand over the cleft of the rock and i'm going to pass by you and when i pass by you i'm going to declare my name and my goodness and my glory and you're just going to see my back parts now we know this is not literal i mean if this is literal god would be like the stretchy man that you can just stretch out because he's got to put him he's got to put his put moses in a hole in the clef put his hand there and then pass by he's using human parts to prove the point he said i'm going to hide you and i'm you're not going to see my face you're not going to see the future of what i'm going to do but i'm going to pass by and you're going to see my back parts that didn't mean that moses looked out and saw the back of god's head and the back of god and the back of god's body that's what god's saying you know what he saw he saw the glory of god what is the glory of god in the beginning the earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep and the spirit of the lord moved upon the face of the waters and god said let there be light and there was light and god divided the light and we have the genesis account how do we have that because god showed moses his back parts and moses was able to write out the book of genesis god revealed that aren't you thankful god revealed creation to us god revealed creation to us you see we now know that god is a god that reveals but now i want to ask how did we get the bible i know the bible by just a simple sentence is god's revelation from god to man but how did we get it well that's where the next word that i want to teach on comes in it came by inspiration it was god's revelation but god had to inspire men he had to inspire men if you would turn with me to the second book of titu or timothy excuse me the second book of timothy chapter number 3 verse number 10. the apostle paul writes this epistle he writes it to a young man a young pastor by the name of timothy and he writes to him about this and he says in verse 10 but thou has fully known my doctrine stop right there for a moment doctrine contrary to what a lot of religious people want to say today doctrine isn't a dirty word doctrine is a good word if you get your doctrine or dogma or or teaching doctrine is a good word if you get your teaching from the bible from the bible we have in just a few moments we're going to baptize a precious lady here it is apostolic doctrine to immerse her put her completely under calling the name of jesus out and for the purpose of the remission of sins that's doctrine how do you get that you gather the scriptures together and the combination of scripture gives us an airtight doctrine baptism in jesus name praise god gives us an airtight doctrine so notice this with me paul says to timothy you have known my doctrine manner of life what's the next thing that said there manner of life because doctrine always affects how you live that's why paul didn't start off with manner of life and my doctrine because you start off with what's important you have known my doctrine you have known my my manner of life what's the next thing purpose you better have your purpose tied to your doctrine we didn't come here this church wasn't started 40 plus years ago this church wasn't started 40-plus years ago to have another church god knows this town had enough churches but the purpose of this church was for it to be an apostolic church a purpose faith long suffering charity patience persecutions sound like to me that if you got doctrine right it's going to affect the way you live it's going to affect your purpose it's going to affect your faith it's going to affect what you suffer along with it's going to suffer how you love people it's going to allow you to be patient persecutions go through persecutions afflictions which came unto me at antioch at iconium in laestra what persecutions i endured somebody i get happy right here but out of them all the lord how many did you deliver out of them all yeah verse number 12 yea and all that will live godly in christ jesus shall suffer persecutions but evil men and seducers shall wax that means grow worse and worse deceiving and being deceived but continue timothy thou in the things which thou hast learned and has been assured of knowing of whom thou hast learned them and that from a child thou has known the holy scripture which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in christ jesus what's the age ought to start teaching my child the scripture had a child because paul says that timothy you have been hearing the scripture from a child verse number verse number 16. all scripture let's say that together all scripture is given by what inspiration of god and is profitable for what doctrine reproof correction instruction in righteousness that the man of god may be perfect thoroughly furnished unto all good works unto all good works what do we have scripture for we have scripture they are inspired by god you see we have what we hold here today not just because of revelation of his will but because of the inspiration that he gave to man he gave man inspiration well let me move on i may come back to that verse in a few moments but now let's go to second peter chapter number one and verse number 16. and while you're turning that let me remind us about a little event that happened in the life of peter james and john and jesus okay jesus took peter james and john to a mountain for a prayer meeting while there on that mountain while there on that mountain they're praying they were accustomed to praying with jesus this was this was not the first time they had prayed with jesus they had prayed with jesus on many occasions but this time was different because we know that jesus was god robed in human flesh he was deity god is light and he was deity robed in human flesh the best way i can describe this is a lamp in the lamp shade now you know that the lamp shade just simply illuminates the light it disperses the light you take the shade off and put the shade in a dark room and it's dark but put the shade over the light bulb and the light bulb shines through the shade now they're praying peter james and john and jesus are praying but something begins to happen they look over at jesus and he's beginning to shine he is beginning to glisten he is beginning that he's shining he's glowing i use those words illuminating there and what was happening was the literal glory shekinah divinity of god was shining through this flesh and no no no no sooner had they witnessed this that they heard a voice from heaven a cloud came down and they heard a voice this is my beloved son hear him now it later becomes known as the mount of transfiguration i think sisterhurst i think that this goes up there in the category of walking on the water i think if everything peter would tell of anything peter could pass down to his grandchildren would be the walking on the water he would probably omit the sinking part but most of us do when we're telling the story you know but i'd say that next one would be and son y'all have been with me in that prayer meeting y'all have been with me on that mountain man we we'd been a lot of prayer meetings with jesus but this one takes it all he began to shine the glory of god was shining through him and we heard a voice from heaven saying this is my beloved son hear him now would you not think that would just be a story of all stories but now let's return back to second peter chapter 1 verse number 16. listen to peter ii peter 1 16 for we have not followed cunningly devised fables when we made known unto you the power and coming of our lord jesus christ but were eyewitnesses of his majesty it's another reason i am absolutely sold on the apostles doctrine that's the one of the others i will study this book frontward backward i will study this book about the apostles because they're the only true eyewitnesses that we know he says we were eyewitnesses of his majesty for he received from god the father honor and glory when there came such now he's going to rehearse he's going to what i told you is going to go back over it now when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory this is my beloved son in whom i am well pleased and this voice which came from heaven we heard when we were with him in the holy mount he's talking about that mount transfiguration he said we were there now now notice this he says we have not followed cunningly devised fables we were eyewitnesses and then he tells the account of the mount transfiguration but he goes further verse 19. we have also a more sure word of prophecy wait a minute he says you think that mount transfiguration was something i got something that beats that we got something that beats that we have a more sure word of prophecy where until you do well that you take heed pay attention to as unto a light that shineth in a dark place until the day dawn and the day star arise in your heart knowing this first that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation for the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man but holy men of god spake as they were moved on by the holy ghost look at this look at this church follow this peter is saying we have got something that's more sure than our experience on the mount transfiguration and then he likens the word of god and i love this he likens the word of god to the dawning of a new day he likens the word of god to the dawning of a new day he says when the day star shall arise in your heart and and the imagery there sister carpenter is when the sun comes up in the morning and you watch the beauty of a sunrise but the sunrise it just doesn't stay there it's got a course that it takes and so does the word of god thank god that when his word comes to our life and we find god in bible salvation we find him in bible salvation it's the sunrise of our hearts it's the sunrise of our lives it's a brand new day we've been living in darkness but it's a brand new day because the word has found us and we've been begotten by the word but i'm glad this morning that i didn't didn't just stay in a sunrise aren't you thankful through the word of god that the word of god has arisen in your life and it has blessed every area of your life could you give him some praise with me this morning revelation and inspiration now religion is messed up because religion tries to tell you that they have their own interpretation of scripture but the bible says in verse number 20 knowing this first that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation you can't sell that bill of goods to me that you can read something from the bible and get something totally different than what i read from the bible all of us know that religion is confusing and the bible says god is not the author of confusion so the scripture nobody has a no no nobody has a closed interpretation nobody has it to themselves oh this is this is how we see this scripture it doesn't matter how you see it or i see it it's how god wrote it it's how that god has given the scripture well let me go back up for a moment let me go back up to a moment second timothy 2 second timothy chapter 3 excuse me second timothy chapter 3 and verse number 16 all scripture is given by inspiration of god that word there inspiration church means breathed grieved god breathed the bible says god moved upon holy men the holy ghost moved on holy men of old and they wrote but if you can see the analogy it was the breath of god that he breathed this because god wanted to reveal himself to you and i that's why our bibles are so valuable today oh please don't take your bible for granted it's the only way you can know the will of god it's the only way that you can truly know god is through the revealed word that god has given but thank god it didn't just stay uh it didn't just stay in god's mind it didn't disdain his will he breathed on men and when he breathed on these men they began to write and they wrote things they didn't even understand at the time they didn't even understand some of the things they were writing as a matter of fact it's commonly believed that isaiah and the apostle paul are the two most educated men in the bible as far as having a an education was concerned the writers isaiah and paul was two of the most educated men that penned words in the bible but you know isaiah had to write some things he had to scratch his head about especially at isaiah chapter 7 verse number 14 when he wrote down and a virgin shall be with child and a virgin shall conceive and bring forth a child i'm sure he had to stand back for a moment and say wait a minute if she's conceived she's not emerging but that's how the bible would go because they were moved on by the holy ghost just to write and as they wrote the bible we have this bible today because men were inspired by god it is not the product of just second century or seven bc it's just not the this is not an old historic document that somehow uh weathered nero and all of the all of time and all that it is the will of god it is the revealed will of god and the reason we have it here in 2021 is because god inspired these men and whatever god inspired god is able to protect inspired them i'm thankful i want to go back for just a moment let me continue to read all scripture verse 16. and i'm thankful for this today all scripture is given by inspiration of god and is profitable for doctrine thank god that the bible doctrines of salvation water baptism in his name of which we're about to do the gift of the holy ghost evidence by speaking in tongues that jesus is the almighty god i'm so glad today that i don't stand up on some kind of historical tradition and i certainly don't have to say well i'm just sorry church it's a mystery i'm just sorry it's just simply a mystery i know there are scriptures that say be baptized this way i know there are scriptures that talk about speaking in a heavenly language i know there are scriptures that talk about in him dwell at the fullness of the godhead but they don't really mean what they're saying and we just have to accept this tradition here i don't know about you but i'm so glad today that scripture is given to us for doctrine it's given to us for doctrine i don't know if the precious young lady has received the gift of the holy ghost or not but i'm going to tell her when she goes in the water that god has revealed a gift to us and it's none other than his spirit living down inside of us and giving us power and when that spirit takes residence according to acts 2 acts 8 acts 10 acts 19 when that spirit takes resident you will speak in a heavenly language as the spirit of god gives you the utterance oh i'm thankful for that this morning it's profitable for doctrine for reproof for correction man i'm glad i got the word when this five foot seven inch 100 none of your business pound preacher has to look across the desk sister xender at a six foot seven 270 pound burly double-fisted man and look at him and say you're not right you need to straighten your life up buddy you're living in sin you're going listen i'm glad that i got something between me and him and it's the bible i'm glad to pastor a church that can be corrected you know why you can be corrected yeah we like you no that's not why you can be corrected you can be corrected because you know it's in the word but these churches that don't know the word you know what they do when their pastor corrects them they vote him out they get them another ireland to come in they get them another ear scratcher to come in they get them another person to tell them they're doing good when they're not doing good but i'm glad tonight this morning for the doctrine i'm glad for the scripture because i can preach the doctrine from the scripture and i can tell people they need to straighten up their life by according to the scripture oh we can give him a better handclap than that can't we all scriptures given the inspiration of god is profitable for doctrine for reproof for correction for instruction and righteousness the bible will help us the bible is given for us to preach and for tell you how to live the way that god wants you to live this last verse is a verse for pastors for men of god that the man of god may be perfect thoroughly furnished into all good works what good what good is a carpenter if you don't have any tools brother perry you got a fine looking truck but i happen to know in the bed of that truck is some tools there's some tools in the bed there's some tools in the bed of that truck one of the frustrating things would be to have a so-called carpenter come out so well i need you to straighten this door right here this door's hanging up on me and he'll say well man i wish i brought my hammer i wish i brought my screwdriver i wish i brought my tools with me what good is a preacher without tools and whatever we face in life whether it's a season that we're right now in or another season that's coming i am glad as a man of god to have a toolbox where i can say hey we're going through this right now as a church let me get down here in this toolbox oh yes right here this will fit us right here oh we're going through a time that we can't explain well let me reach down here oh i've got this tool that says i will never leave you i will never forsake you i'll be with you always oh let me let me bring that tool out and work with us oh you ought to praise him right now come on you ought to praise him right now well what will the bible do for me well that's up to you that's up to you it's been revealed it's been inspired and it's been given but what will it do for me well it depends it's up to you it's up to you because this is what james said in james chapter 1 verse number 19 because you can have the revealed word you can have the ins you can have the revelation you can have the inspiration but god's not finished with you and i until he has given us the illumination we have got to be changed by the word listen to james james chapter 1 verse 21 or excuse me james chapter 1 verse 19. wherefore my beloved brethren let every man be swift to hear slow to speak slow to wrath notice he's talking about controlling your emotions and i know that i know that no one here today has any issues in controlling your emotions that's for all these other folks that are not here today right it's amazing to me he talks about the word he says let every man be swift to hear slow to speak that's good advice isn't it sometimes we speak before we've heard it all swift to hear slow to speak slow to wrath for the wrath of god worketh not the righteousness of god in other words your emotions has never your emotions outside of god's word has never produced a good change in any of our lives for the wrath of god worketh not the righteousness of god wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness that's the flesh and receive with meekness the engrafted word which is able to save your what souls but be doers of the word and not hearers only deceiving yourselves for if any be a hearer of the word and not a doer he is likened to a man beholding his natural face in a glass or a mirror for he beholdeth himself and goeth his way and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was but who so looketh into the perfect law of liberty and continueth therein he being not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work this man shall be blessed in his deed now now look at look at this now thank god for his revelation he gave me the revelation thank god for his inspiration he gave it but what i'm working on right now i'm working on the illumination but the illumination has one critical spot and that's our heart the word of god is of none effect as long as we keep our minds and our hearts shut it can do no changing in our lives but oh i'm persuaded better things of the people gathered here this morning i believe that i'm talking to a group of people that are saying my heart's open to you lord i want you lord to take your word i want you to take your word god and i want you to bring about a change in my heart lord you started me out in darkness but the word came to me and it's been getting brighter and brighter and brighter and brighter and my life has been improving because of the word how do i get the word how do i get the word well let me tell you how you get the word preaching plays a major role in god's plan you can't get around it i'm going to show you you cannot get around preaching you cannot get around it it is the way that god has chosen to get what he revealed and what he inspired into your heart that's it god uses preaching so if you're serious about living for god and you're serious about wanting to go to heaven you had better fall in love with preaching. well yeah you're a preacher no it has nothing to do with me being a preacher i didn't ask for this job and i'm not complaining that i've got it either i feel unworthy that he would save me much less call me to preach but i just got to tell you if you want to go to heaven and you want god to change your life you better fall in love with preaching titus chapter one verse number titus chapter 1 verse number 1. let me take this to scripture so we just know that it's there titus 1 verse number 1. paul a servant of god and an apostle of jesus christ according to the faith of god's elect and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness in hope of eternal life which god with which god that cannot lie promise before the world begin look at verse 3 hang on every word but hath in due times manifest his word through what what did god manifest his word through which he is committed unto me according to the commandment of god our savior if you're going to get the word it's going to come through preaching first corinthians chapter 1 and verse number 8 preaching getting the word through preaching there's power in that first corinthians 1 and 18 paul says to the church at corinth for the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness but unto us which are saved it is the power of god can i tell you today that if you're just too educated for old-fashioned preaching you're not gonna make it if you see what's going on up here for the last 40 minutes is a waste of your time you're not gonna make it because that's how the world sees it the world sees it as foolishness but not the church it is but unto us which are saved it is the power of god for it is written i will destroy the wisdom of the wise i will bring to nothing the not the understanding of the prudent where is the wise where is the scribe where is the disputer of this world hath not god made foolish the wisdom of this world look at what the world's doing right now come on i'm not trying to i'm not trying to it shouldn't get quiet right now we're living in a world that can't they can't determine whether they're male or female and they're come claim to be the brightest minds of our universities a mother a mother took her daughter to a doctor here in this city and they came in was asking the little girl questions and basically what they was asking her do you want to be referred to as a he or she do you have any preference for the love of god you think that's smart there's one test you can get to decide whether you're a male or a female there's a medical test you can get a dna test that without fail tell you you're a boy or you're a girl but it's just a dawn of creation they've been male and female but now we got a bright society that's going to have a utopia of humanity and they're gonna let them decide whether they're male or female or maybe both or maybe they can switch or or this or that come on church if there's ever been a day we ought to have faith in god it ought to be today this godless generation ought to wake us up some of you kids going to college you listen to me this morning some of you kids going to college instead of backsliding you ought to come out on fire for god you ought to come out you ought to come out and say man look look what they're trying to tell us there's a neighboring state now i won't i won't tell the i won't tell the family's name but they sent me the picture of it their child it well they had the first day of school last week in a public school in a neighboring state and and on the top the the homeroom teacher passed out a paper and it and it gave it gave them uh do you want to be called do you want to be called a he or a she or what is your preference to be called because there's teachers losing their job right now because they called a boy a he or a girl or she and they're having to get re-educated and reprogrammed and god you know what maybe this morning in prayer maybe we ought to added our publics our public school teachers to this list because there's some good moral public school teachers that are in a dilemma right now folks am i making is this making sense today verse 19 for it is written i will destroy the wisdom of the wise and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent where is the wise where is the scribe where is the dispute of this world hath god not made foolish the wisdom of this world for after that in the wisdom of god the world by wisdom knew not god it pleased god by the foolishness of preaching the foolishness of preaching i didn't say the preaching of foolishness i said the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe for the jews require a sign and the greeks seek after wisdom but we preach christ crucified under the jews of stumbling block under the greek's foolishness but unto them which are called both jews and greeks christ the power of god and the wisdom of god because the foolishness of god is wiser than men and the weakness of god is stronger than men for you see your calling brethren how that not many wives after the flesh not many mighty not many noble
