thank you choir thank you choir our children will be dismissed to go to kidsquest at this time and i want to invite your attention to join me in the book of leviticus thank you thank you pastor erickson there's no kids quest today so if i can create confusion i will all right so there's no kid's quest today join me in leviticus chapter 24 and verse number 10 why you're why the choir is getting situated and um i want to ask everyone to join us tonight some so we all have it we're not having church tonight we're having graduation no no please let me correct that we are having church we're just having graduation apostolic style all right and uh we're gonna praise and lift up the name of the lord we're gonna uh graduate uh graduate several uh uh close to 20 i believe tonight are graduating from apostolic christian academy and we're thankful so thankful for that god bless our sister today in jesus name thank the lord bless our sister join me in leviticus chapter 24 and verse number 10 and the son of an israelitish woman whose father was an egyptian went out among the children of israel and this son of the israelitis woman and a man of israel strove together in the camp and the israelitish woman's son blasphemed the name of the lord and cursed and they brought him unto moses and his mother's name was shalomath the daughter of diba deborah of the tribe of dan and they put him in ward that the mind of the lord might be showed them and they put him in ward that the mind of the lord might be shown them and the lord spake unto moses father i believe that you've given me a word today for this church i personally believe god that you have given me this word for someone that is watching online it will be a word of confirmation it will be a word of direction it will be a word of hope for your word is full of life your word is full of freedom lord anoint us today for the next few moments in jesus name we pray amen you may be seated and they put him in ward verse 12 and they put him in ward that the mind of the lord might be showed them they put him in ward turn over with me to the book of numbers and we will read another familiar setting to this setting numbers chapter 15 and verse number 32. numbers chapter 15 and verse 32. and while the children of israel were in the wilderness they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day and they that found him gathering sticks brought him to moses and aaron and into all the congregation and they put him in ward because it was not declared what should be done to him and the lord said unto moses for a title today i have chosen this taking comfort in confinement taking comfort taking comfort in confinement because the the word ward means confinement um it also means a jail it's where we derive the word warden from it is it is confinement it is confinement they they knew what the word said they knew what the word said about blasphemy they knew what the word said about working on the sabbath day they they knew what the word said but they didn't know how to take action on what god had said do you follow me they knew what god had said but they didn't know the next step can i get a witness how many knows what god says but you're really hoping you came to church today i'm really i know what god says but i really would like to know what the next step is i would really we we know what god said about picking up sticks on the sabbath we know what god said about blasphemy we know what god said but we have this man here we have these men here what do we do now this is something that you hear very little preaching about about the tabernacle we hear about clouds and fire and manna and water coming out of rocks and quail coming in and we hear about miracles signs wonders we hear about altars and laborers and we hear about holiest of holies we hear about all of that but just truly how many of you have heard a sermon on the ward that was there there was a place there was just as needful as the labor just as nipple as the altar just as needful as the ark of the covenant there was a place they needed to put something in confinement until the will of the lord could be shown them and i want you to know that confinement is not comfortable but we need to take comfort in confinement because the confinement is before the lord might be confined might be restricted they didn't know what to do with the man he's cursed he's blasphemed what do we do with this man somebody said put him in confinement until god gives us a clear word what are we going to do with this man he's out here picking up sticks on the sabbath day what are we going to do with this man just just just put him in confinement and god's going to speak to you and i've come this morning to speak a word of hope and direction that if there's any of you here today or watching online and you've got a situation in your life that you truly don't know what to do i want to ask you today why don't we just put it in confinement and let god work it out anything we keep before the lord god is going to work out god has never turned away two things prayer and faithfulness god has never turned away somebody that continually comes before his presence in confinement you know i i i'll say this and i need to go i'm going to go on to my next point but when miriam and the other ladies got the tambourines out on the other side of the red sink and begin to shout and dance and praise the lord they really didn't do any big feet because who can't worship god after he's delivered but i want to ask somebody are you able to worship god when you feel you're in confinement are you able to worship god sure you believe there's a god sure you believe he cares for you sure you believe he has a plan but you've got a situation you truly don't know the next step to go what do you do then i'll tell you what you do you just simply put it in confinement because god is going to speak if we just keep it in keep it in confinement there's no greater story taking comfort in confinement there's no greater story in the bible that is a testimony of a man that was put by the plan of god a man that was put into confinement now let me tell you something you know you just think you gave your heart to god right right you gave your heart to god right you gave yourself to god correct so that means god calls the shots right he's uh he's not your co-pilot they they've ripped that bumper sticker off god is my co-pilot up copilot sits there until the pilot gets in trouble and then the co-pilot kind of helps out well that's not how christianity works god is not our co-pilot he is our pilot god is not my spare tire in my trunk and when i have a flat in life i can go back and call aaa and god's going to come out he is the lord of our lives he is the leader of our lives he is the director of our lives so i i have to i have to i have to begin to ask myself and so should you when you find yourself in a situation that you don't know what to do you can't figure it out instead of saying what was me why don't you just step back for a moment and say you know god has allowed this you know god god is don't ever doubt god's love don't ever don't you ever doubt god's love but don't ever think god always keeps you on a clearly marked interstate either sometimes god has got to get you to where he needs you to be by simply putting you in confinement but we can take comfort and confinement because i know the one that put me in confinement i know the one that i am here waiting on today there's no greater example than that than joseph in the old testament matter of fact let's just go study him for a few moments genesis chapter 39 verse number excuse me genesis chapter 37 and verse 3. now israel loved joseph more than all his children because he was the son of his old age and he made him a coat of milk many colors sounds like favor doesn't it oh we like favor don't we we love people i passed i was in the uh the hotel this week uh with sarah and chase's wedding and and and there was a convention there and everything their their key word at that religious convention convention was blessed and highly favored every time i passed somebody blessed and highly favored and i'd say amen in jesus name blessed and highly favored man isn't it good to be blessed and highly favored but don't holler too loud favor comes at a price mary was favored the angel gabriel came and said mary you're a highly favorite of god mary was highly favored but don't get too caught up in the miraculous birth because that favor is going to have to lead a mother with a son that's got a cross on his back to a hill called calvary you see favor comes with a price you can go around blabbing blessed and highly favored all you want to but there comes a price to favor and whether or not you keep the favor of god is whether you're willing to pay the price to have the favor of god oh yeah he's got a coat of many colors oh yeah he's favorite of his father but watch out not everybody is excited about your favor i thought about this wednesday night it fit in my bible study do you know if if you don't have an overly exalted opinion of yourself do you know that you're not disappointed when you find out others don't either not everybody's happy about your favor verse 4 and when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren they hated him and could not speak peaceably unto him so wait a minute all you blessed and highly favored folks you got to get ready everybody in the crowd ain't shouting over you being favored he's got some brothers now that hate him he said he's having to deal with but you know something god is even able to take people that hate you and use it to get you to where you need to be well i'm in confinement there's people that hate me just stay right where you're at just stay right where you're at the bible says in verse number five and joseph dreamed a dream he told it unto his brethren and they hated him yet the more i don't know if that was the smartest thing to do but he told them a dream and they hated him yet the more and he said unto him here i pray you this dream which i have dreamed for behold we now notice this behold we were binding sheaves in the field and lo my sheep arose and also stood upright and behold your sheaves stood round about and made obedience to my sheath and his brethren said to him shalt thou indeed reign over us and shalt thou indeed have dominion over us and they hated him more yet they hated him yet the more for his dreams and for his words and he dreamed yet another dream and told it to his brethren and said behold i have dreamed a dream more and behold the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obedience to me he told it to his father and to his brethren and to his and his father rebuked him and said unto him what is this dream that thou has dreamed shall i thy mother and thy brethren come indeed to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth his brethren envied him but his father observed the saying now stop right there for a moment because one of one of the results of the holy ghost in our lives the prophet joel said your old men shall dream dreams now i know that we have all dreams are not from god i know that some dreams i've had was a late night pizza and diet coke i understand i understand all that but god does use dreams god does use dreams to give people to give people direction and so god begin to cause joseph to dream dreams what is a dream a dream of something up here a dream and if it's a dream from god i want you i'm going to show you two things today if it is a dream from god it's going to take two things don't look if you dream it today don't look to walk out the door and have it tomorrow all dreams from god take two two things number one the first dream joseph had was a dream of working out in the field with wheat if god gives you a dream get ready for a process you don't grow wheat immediately instantly wheat is called a process you've got to go through a process two things if god gives you a dream and i think i believe i'm speaking to somebody today that you have a dream in your heart and if god gives you a dream don't look to go see it tomorrow but get the process started today the process the first dream was wheat they were binding up wheat and bales and joseph said an interesting thing happened what i was working in my process caused to elevate me and you came and did obeisance or you came and bowed down you came and gave you came and gave reverence which those of you that have read the story of joseph knows this they hated him at the first but they honored him in the end they hated him at the first but they honored him in the end all because joseph responded to the process properly so i've come to tell you today that there may be people that hate you right now but if you will let god keep you in confinement and work on you some of those same enemies and some of those same people that hate you will one day come around to tell you you were right you were on the right track we were jealous of you joseph you were favored in all of that they hated him at first but they honored him in the end because after all we're not people that want to live in the past we're not people that want to just stay stuck in some kind of offense that happened to us in the past and live our lives in the rearview mirror you're going to wreck your car if you're always looking in the rearview mirror of your car a rear-view mirror is nothing more than a glance that's why your rear view in proportion to your windshield is totally different your rear view is about like that and your windshield is about like that that's because you need to see where you're going don't live your life in your rear view don't live your life always recounting what someone did to you and how someone hey did they make you pray when they stabbed you in the back did it make you pray hey when they talked about you and some of it was true did it humble you down to where you got in the presence of god remember my saying when you don't have an overly exalted opinion of yourself then you're not shocked when you find out neither do other people did it make you pray did the stabs in that back make you value other friends in your life then i say you ought to say thank you jesus they have led me to the process of becoming more like you the wheat the process and then the second thing the dream was about was about the sun and the moon and the stars you know what that represents don't you time time we're not in this this this uh this stuff of just uh believing things are going to change on a dime there's some things brother nolan that a confinement has to be there are some things that can only be revealed when god puts you into a confinement process and time joseph went through three phases of his life three phases he was god he was loved and favored by his father but the love and the favor of his father bred the hatred of his brothers now we're all the object of god's love god loves you and you can't do anything about it all right god loves you and there's not a there's not a thing that you can do about it god loves every person in this room right now god loves you that's a fact god loves you if god has a refrigerator brother troy in heaven your picture's on it if god shows off his kids to the angels where you know he gets out his wallet and the pictures just flow down god loves you hear that hear that god loves you he loves you nothing you can do about it he loves you he loved you last night when you were sleeping he loved you he loved you some of some of some of us have not lived the way we should live but that did not negate the fact that god loves you he he he loves you in your sin he loves you when he's bringing you out of your sin he loves you when you become a saint god just god just god is love god is love but because you are the object of god's love because you are the object of god's love automatically you are the target of hell because god loves you satan hates you because god loves you you're now a target for satan to do everything he can to mar the image of god you're now the target of satan joseph you got a new coat on joseph daddy loves you that's right i'm daddy's a favorite i'm here but a price tag joseph your brothers hate you but don't despair joseph they're going to put you in the first phase they're going to put you in the first phase of your life look at verse go down to verse number uh uh joseph he dreamed a dream let's go to verse number 18 chapter 37 joseph's out looking for his brothers and his father sends him on a mission go check on your brothers see how they're doing joseph goes to find his brothers and when they the brethren his brother saw him afar off even before he came near unto them they conspired against him to slay him and they said one to another behold this dreamer come now therefore and let us slay him and cast him into some pit and we will and we will say some evil beasts have devoured him and we will see what will become of his dreams now let's see they saw him come and they said look at there there he is said let's kill him let's cast him into a pit and we'll see what becomes of the dreamer boy we'll we'll see what becomes but you see i'm i'm in confinement to something today you you can't kill a man that god has given dream to he can kill himself but you can't kill him he can stop the process but you can't stop it so they took him and i'm just gonna kind of skip through here for a moment they took him and they stripped him of his coat and they threw him in a pit verse 27 24 they took him and cast him into a pit a pit the pit was empty and there was no water in it they threw him out they threw him there in the pit he's going to die and they well look at how merciless these brothers are and they sat down to eat bread and they lifted up their eyes and behold a company of ishmaelites came from gilead with their camels bearing spicery and bomb and myrrh going down to carry to egypt and judah judah said unto his brethren what prophet is it if we say our brother come and conceal his blood come and let us sell him to the ishmaelites and let not our hand be upon him for he is our brother and our flesh well listen even folks that hate you do have little convictions don't you say let's don't kill him after all he is our brother let's sell him but i noticed something here who came his way were ishmaelites did the scripture say that right ishmaelites where did the ishmaelites come from well they they came from a man called ishmael well where did ishmael come from he came from abraham and sarah's greatest mistake abraham should have never taken hagar it was not the will of god we still see trouble in the middle east today because of this it was not the will of god but can i tell you how powerful god is god is so powerful that he can even cause past mistakes to work out for your good because god has a calling for joseph in egypt and he's got to get to egypt somehow some way and guess how he gets there he gets there through the past mistakes of abraham can i tell you you can use your mistakes to your spiritual advantage if you'll let it you can use mistakes to cause you to become more like jesus christ so the ishmaelites the ishmaelites they sold him pulled him out of the pit pulled him out of the pit they sold him phase one of your life you gotta pass this test you gotta pass the test of not losing your dream because of how your brethren treats you you can't lose your dream because your brothers have not treated you right with every offense from a brother and there's no there's no deeper wound wound there's no deeper wound than a wound that is inflicted by a brother or a sister there's no deeper wounds than that because we're family we're supposed to care about each other we're supposed to be on the same page and there's no deeper wounds than a wound from a family there's all kind of and it's not only just in the church one of the one of the most dreaded calls a police officer wants to respond to is domestic violence there's families that are divided even in the church sometimes there can be a fence and people will go through their whole life coming to the house of god to give the joyous thanksgiving and praise but when they walk in they've got a special seat they want to sit in so they don't have to look over and see somebody else that's not god's will that is not god's will we got to pass the first test did they do you wrong sure they did you wrong but them doing me wrong or doing you wrong can actually work out in the process of getting you down to a place that god wants you to be when somebody offends you it should not cause you to be less active in the church because that's exactly what the devil wants to do because you've got a dream let's just face it today all of us got a dream all of us today all of us everybody in this room today have some kind of thing way down deep inside of you that you feel like i'm special god's got a cost for me god's got a reason for me i don't know what it is right now that's because you're in confinement but i've been wounded and i stopped going to church i've been wounded and i got another i got i i i just got unoccupied all these different things i got and wounded all this please when you get wounded is not the time to do less it's actually the time to do more because your dream will never come true joseph if you don't get over come on talk to me today can i can i tell you today can i tell you today that some of the most painful praying you'll ever do and you'll have to wonder if you're sincere but i promise you it will help you pray for those that despitefully use you pray for those that are your enemies give them a drink of water go a second mile in your prayer get down and pray that god blesses them ask god to bless your enemy on his job ask god to bless your enemies family ask god to touch for your enemy you said man are you for real preacher i mean i'm praying cancer i'm praying all kind of curses and woes that's not the way to get it done you see if you can pray the blessings of god upon your enemies and the bible says the goodness of god leadeth through repentance i just may pray blessings upon my enemies blessings upon those that can't stand to see the sight of me blessings upon those blessings upon those that that i'm an irritant and even if my name is mentioned i'm not just using me and you too you're in this you're in this dream too but if i can pray prosperity and blessing and somehow they can be blessed of god and in the blessings of god see that they don't deserve because they've got hate towards somebody else they may they may turn around and they may say what am i doing harboring hate what am i doing harboring this in my life the bible says love them and you heap coals of fire on their head and and and that's not please don't get caught up in the in the misleading of i'm going to be sweet to them even if they're not sweet to me and it just burns them up that's not what god means by that i just walked in and act like nothing's probably oh it just burn them up that's not right it's talking about it's talking about doing good for him praying for him joseph you passed the first test you passed the first test and i'll show you i'll show you how i know he passed the first test they sold him they sold him to the to the ishmaelite they sold him to the ishmaelite traders and the ishmaelites came down and they sold him they sold him to a man of rank in chapter 39 verse number one and joseph was brought down to egypt and potiphar an officer of pharaoh captain of the guard an egyptian bought him of the hands of the ishmaelites which he had which had brought him down thither and the lord was with joseph right there i know that he passed the test of not being bitter against his brothers the lord was with joseph and he was a prosperous man and he was in the house of his master the egyptian his master saw that the lord was with him look at that even even potiphar saw hey the lord is with this man and that the lord made all that he did to prosper in his hand and joseph found grace in his sight and he served him and made him overseer over his house and oh and all that he had he put into his hand here's the second phase you got to overcome how the world treats you now the church gets a lot of bad news but you can be offended more than just at church the world can offend you the world people on your workplace people that have absolutely nothing to do and they get offended they get offended over the silliest little things there's men and women in their graves today because somebody got their parking spot at the mall thank god we were raised we raised a wise son we raised a very wise son because the other day at a mall in a major city he and his mother and wife were waiting to turn into a parking lot they had waited on it they had waited on this parking spot the car pulls out nolan's about to pull the car in when a man walks several aisles over and stops him nolan thought at first no one thought at first that he was some kind of officer there he stopped him and then way down the lane he motions for a car and the car came in and pulled in and the man just simply said that's our spot now every bit of that boy's flesh right he got his mama with him and he's got his wife with him and he's not an angel no doubt he would want to put that car in park and get out but he said dad it wasn't worth it it wasn't worth it people get offended hey let's get our mind off the church doing you wrong you get offended out there in the world a business deal somebody sells you out somebody cuts you off in traffic people are dead today because somebody cut them off in traffic we have got to pass the test of how the world treats us i'll never get to where i'm going if i'm not able to pass the test of how the world treats us all the crazy things that have been going on for many years many years many years the crazy things that have been going on to silence the church the laws that have been made that are against the word of god but you see today it is still god's will and i read it and i'll read it again it is still god's will to pray for kings and for those that are in authority over us it is still god's will so how's the world treating you man the world's treat me pretty good man i got this new job with potiphar and he's just put me over everything he's he's rather wealthy he's got a direct connection to pharaoh matter of fact he it's believed that potiphar was one of the secret service agents for pharaoh and he's got a very good job and i've been put over i've been put over everything i've got a dream in me i've got a dream in me and i've been put over everything i i don't really know i'm in confinement i've been in confinement ever since my brother stowed me in the pit i can't figure this thing out i've had i have had these unbelievable dreams and i just can't figure it out but right now i'm just in confinement and the lord is with me and and and and everything everything potiphar's god i i get to oversee i'm i'm an overseer until he finds his next test and that is the world is going to use sensuality to try to get your dream you see the first phase dealt not with sensuality joseph didn't lust after his brothers he wanted their admin admiration and their love he passed that test but now the second test comes where the world is going to use sensuality they're going to use flesh they're going to use lust because you've got a dream in you and the god of this world wants it and how the god of this world turns your dream into a nightmare is through you allowing your flesh to lust and get anything that it desires so we have to guard ourselves against the lust of the flesh because the lust of the flesh is after my dream it's after who i can be it's after god sees what i can be the lust of the flesh would like to dangle a cheap a cheap trinket and get me to accept a cheap trinket but do i have someone today that is willing to say no to the lust of the flesh why i've got a dream i've gotta i have i have got a dream your flesh wants to go to those channels your flesh wants to take that second look your flesh wants to rationalize it and and and and say why it would be all right for a second look but can i tell you brother can i tell you sister today all you're doing is selling your dreams short don't let the flesh get your dream you're going somewhere god has a plan for you you're going to see how it's all going to work out but don't let the flesh get your dream the flesh is coming after it the flesh is coming after your dream the flesh is coming after you young man the flesh is coming after you young lady the flesh is coming after you successful middle-aged man oh it did oh joseph's just there one day maybe cutting the grass around potiphar's house and old wicked mrs potiphar came out and she cast her eyes upon joseph you you know in my eyes full of adultery you know then people want to lick you right in the eyes that's why the bible just says seriously the bible just say full of adultery i want to lick you right now so potiphar's wife come out i she reminds me of that lady on the label of that banana you know that chiquita banana mama you know lie with me josh oh joseph you're such a you're such a handsome hebrew old joseph oh if oh i just feel special when i'm around you joseph uh uh potiphar he he doesn't understand me and shows if i just seem to be special and you you seem to be uh go to bed with me no that's what you need to give to the flesh no and watch what what's what's this this when god gives you a dream he gives you the whole package he said how could i sin and do this great wickedness in the sight of god you belong to your husband can i tell you what's amazing about that that was hundreds of years before moses walked down from mount sinai with the ten commandments that said thou shalt not commit adultery you see when god gives you a dream he gives you the whole package he looked at her and he said no no no no no first off that's a sin against god that's a sin against god second thing you don't belong to you belong to another man you're not mine and he refused her but she didn't give up she kept casting her eyes on him and casting her eyes and it got to where one day he was in the house and if i had time to read the scripture he even he even worked on not being in the house at the same place and all this but boy she cornered him one day she cornered him and she said you're gonna lie with me today you're you're going to sleep with me today and she reached out and god i'm going to tell you something if you don't watch it the flesh will reach out and get a hold of you she reached out and got him by his coat and when she did joseph didn't say okay that's enough i can't take no more okay you know after all he no he didn't you know why it didn't bend he's got a dream he's in confinement he don't know he he's got a dream of being something great he's been a he's been in a pit and now he's in potter's house and she reaches out and gets him by the coat and he just rips out of that coat he just rips out of that coat and he takes off running and you know what she did to him you know what she did to him she laid that coat over the end of the bed and got in bed and started crying and when her husband come home what's wrong honey that hebrew your servant your hebrew he came in the house and tried to rape me can i tell you something get your eyes off the church doing you wrong the world will lie on you this world will lie on you some of you don't have jobs today because you've been lied on don't get bitter it's all a process of going to where god wants you to go don't don't get bitter oh i hope i'm helping somebody today some of you are caught in in in in a grip of the i've been lied on brother carpenter when will the truth will ever come out just stay in confinement truth never comes out if you get out of confinement but if you'll just stay in confinement before the presence of the lord i promise you truth is going to eventually come out how many want to live long enough to see the truth come out about your life it's going to come out the truth is going to come out he tried to rape you is that right yes he did and he sent and had joseph arrested and put in prison sound like confinement to me but you know something he must have gotten victory over being light on because the bible says that in prison chapter 40 and verse three and he put them in ward and the captain of the guard into the prison the place where joseph was bound now i've kind of got ahead of myself a little bit but um go back to chapter 39 and verse 20. chapter 39 verse 20. and joseph's master took him and put him into the prison a place where the king's prisoners were bound and he was there in the prison oh somebody get happy with me about verse 21. somebody get happy with me about verse 21 read it with me would you please but the lord was whoo i've done past the test of how my brothers have treated me now i've passed the test of how the world has treated me but now i'm in the prison but thank god even though i'm in confinement take comfort child of god take comfort woman take comfort man you're in the confinement of god but take comfort god is going to answer you god is going to give you an answer he's in the prison but the lord was with joseph and showed him favor and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper the prison and the keeper of the prison committed to joseph's hand all the prisoners that were in the prison and whatsoever they did there he was the doer of it the keeper of the prison looked not to anything that was under his hand because the lord was with him and that which he did the lord made it to prosper i'm telling you joseph's now the warden over the prison everything he touches is prospering this is so crucial that you hear this it's so crucial that you hear this because it's going to be in prison that you're going to get your connection to the throne your connection to the throne wasn't in the pit and it wasn't in the world your connection to the throne is in your prison in that prison one day they knocked on the door and there was two new prisoners you have to take care of joseph i've got two new prisoners that you have to watch these are no ordinary prisoners and this was back before the day of federal prisons these are no ordinary prisoners these are servants of pharaoh it is his butler and it is his baker it is the it is the butler that that that takes the wine and tastes it to make sure that no one is trying to assassinate the pharaoh it it is the butler that that is so close to hand the the the pharaoh his goblet of wine it is the maker the baker is over the baker is over uh uh baking the goods the bread that the pharaoh likes to eat and both of them have offended pharaoh and so therefore they're they're thrown down here and therefore you have two more prisoners to look over you have two more can i tell you that your connection to the throne will always come when more trouble comes oh great i've got two more guys and i have to watch them they're not cutthroats and thieves they're federal inmates i've got to really watch out over them care for them well one morning he noticed the butler and the baker were a little sad and downcast what's wrong fellas what's wrong well i had a dream last night what was the dream you had he said well i dreamed that there was this vine that came out of the earth and in the vine there was a cluster and there were leaves and there were grapes and then in the dream joseph i reached up and got the grapes and i squeezed them in a cup and i took the cup and i handed it to the pharaoh and joseph interpreter of dreams joseph says three days from right now a knock on the door you're going to go back and you're going to serve the king his wine three days from now it's going to happen and man the baker he kind of perked up a little bit he thought man i like that three days and we're out of here and the baker said hey joseph i had a dream also and in my dream i had a basket three baskets on my head i had three baskets on my head and they were filled with all kind of bread and the birds came and ate from those baskets joseph said yours is not so good in three days the king's gonna call and he's gonna cut your head off now i got to reading that and i thought there's a difference here delivered vine grapes leaves squeezing straining the the the dregs out and handing he had to go through a process in the baker's dream he went through no process just bread maybe the process determines whether we get life or we get death there's no way to the fulfillment of your dream without a process i don't care how much plastic phony stuff is sold in the name of jesus on television if you're going to be the man and woman and live the dream that god wants you to live get ready to go through a process just takes a process but listen to this now joseph tells the butler mr butler i was sold into slavery i'm a hebrew i was done wrong they sold me my brothers hated me and then potiphar's wife lied on me i didn't try to i didn't try to seduce that woman i didn't i didn't try to i didn't try to do that with that woman she lied on me she was the one making advancement i she lied on me would you please remember me you're going to talk to pharaoh would you please tell pharaoh i'm here yes i'll tell him but the bible says and just for time i'm just going to hit the high points of it but the bible says when the butler got up there squeezing the wine and putting it to the lips of pharaoh it simply says this he forgot joseph have any of you ever thought that your deliverance was tomorrow have any of you ever thought that what was you had been praying for for a long time was was just a few days away can't you imagine joseph as he watches the butler go up the stairs and set to freedom that maybe he just watches the door for 24 hours 72 hours maybe maybe well it's been a week now and and maybe the butler's just getting acclimated maybe maybe it's been a month now and a year now and now we're going on two years anybody in this house can relate anybody ever had high expectations and anticipation was way up here you look for the door only for the door never to be opened two full years went by old butler squeezing grapes one morning getting wine prepared pharaoh had a good night's sleep yeah they say he's about to come through the door pharaoh's about to come through the door okay i've got his wine and his bagel laying out here i got everything i've got everything just kind of ready for him here pharaoh comes through the door pharaoh looks like he didn't sleep all night long the butler says excuse me may i ask is there something wrong pharaoh yeah had some crazy dreams last night had some crazy dreams last night well what'd you dream you know i was standing by the river and a a big fat calf came walking out of the river and i said i was over in the field and said the corn came up said oh the the stalks were so thick it was such a plenteous harvest and made me happy and the next thing i know i look down the river and here comes a real skinny ill lean calf ribs sticking out jawbone exposed flesh hanging on it he comes walking out he comes walking out of the river and opens his mouth and he devours all the the fat cattle and then the next thing i knew i felt warm air blowing on me and the east hot dry air began to blow and all the wheat and the corn was gone i don't know what this means i don't know what this is and god says the time of your confinement is over joseph you have served me and the butler says to the pharaoh i remember my fault you put me down in prison you have a man in prison that can interpret dreams and i'm telling you with just in a few moments joseph get cleaned up why where we going today and maybe even maybe even joseph had even given up maybe he had even sold himself short that maybe this dream that i got from god was i'd be over this prison here maybe this dream that i got from god would i would be over a prison maybe i need to accept it i'm going to say that today they some of you accepting a level of where you're at right now and god is saying please don't do that my dream is not for you to be the prison the the warden of this prison but my dream is to take you to another level in a moment's time he stands before the most powerful man in all the world and he interprets the dream and when he interprets the dream and he tells him he said well what do you think we need to do and then he lays out a savings plan he lays out a plan and pharaoh turns around and pharaoh says pharaoh says who can find a man in all my kingdom like this man joseph make him second pharaoh took his ring off he took his ring off and he handed it to joseph that was authority he handed it to joseph and he gave joseph his ring he said you'll ride in the second chariot he said the only word in egypt that will be above your word will be my word you'll be you'll be you'll be ruler over all over all of egypt now i want to end with this as our musicians would come i want to end with this and i felt in the holy ghost that this is going to happen i felt in the holy ghost what the world has in its prison right now is the answer the world is trying to suppress god god's word god's ways the world is trying to suppress and while i was preparing for this message it just came upon me the world is trying to keep in prison the word of god the ways of god and the blessings of god but you listen listen to me there will come a day it may not be made a law it may not be recognized in our nation's capital but the darkness of this age is going to cause the world to wake up and see the church as never before they're going to look when they've raised children when they've raised children in a godless system that's trying to be laid out right now they've raised children not to believe in god or hear of god they've raised children that don't even know our history and there's going to come a day they're going to look at the meshach shadrach and bendigos and the daniels and the esthers and the hannahs they're going to walk out of the church of the living god and the world is going to say there must be something to that there must be something there must be something to that i'm telling you the world is going to come to us one day and say what we've tried to suppress was actually the very thing that can set us free would you
