you have your bibles tonight and be so kind to turn with me the book of exodus chapter 14 god has done great and mighty things for us and we have a lot to thank god for 2020 is coming to an end and i heard the other yesterday that the vaccine should be being distributed sometime around the second week of december and i'm thankful i am thankful that they're talking about this coming out in a miracle time and i'm just thankful that this vaccine is coming out and turn the tide on this horrible thing called covet amen amen and uh i thank god for that tonight i truly truly thank god for that exodus chapter 14 and verse number verse number one praise god good to see jesse orr and his little wife with us tonight and still do what now he looks like his mama first lady said you look like your mother all right and uh so uh he does but i i finally have got some love of god in my heart for this little girl she stole jessie's heart and then she stole jesse and made a hoosier out of him all right jesse is so good so good to have you home and the lord spoken to moses saying speaking to the children of israel that they turn and encamp before pie hi hey wrath boy i'm not going to say that again tonight between make dog mcdoll and the sea over against bael zephan before it shall you encamp by the sea for pharaoh will say of the children of israel they are entangled in the land and the wilderness have shut them in and i will harden pharaoh's heart he shall follow after them and i will be honored upon pharaoh and upon all of his hosts that the egyptians may know that i am the lord that the egyptians may know that i am the lord go over to the next chapter chapter 15 verse number 1 then saying moses and the children of israel this song unto the lord and spake saying i will sing unto the lord for he hath triumphed gloriously the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea the lord is my strength and song and has become my salvation he is my god and i will prepare him a habitation my father's god and i will exalt him the lord is a man of war the lord is his name pharaoh's chariots and his hosts hath he cast into the sea his chosen captains also are drowned in the depth or in the red sea the depths have covered them they sank into the bottom as a stone for just a few moments tonight something the lord gave me and i want to share it with you simply this title very long but just listen to it that the world may know and that the church may sing that the world may know and that the church may sing father i love you tonight thank you thank you thank you thank you god thank you thank you lord thank you thank you oh thank you god thank you lord lord i thank you god i thank you tonight lord i praise you oh excellent father i praise you and i worship you tonight god you are great and you are greatly to be praised god anoint us tonight in jesus name thank you you may be seated thank you lord thank you i was thinking today what i would say would be the most thankful thing in my life tonight and i would want to say to you that i am thankful this probably will surprise you right now but i am thankful for the church i am thankful i am thankful to be in the church i am thankful as never before i cannot relate to people who are talking about that the church is losing its appeal and that the world is uh gaining appeal well i can't relate to that tonight because the church is looking better to me as the day goes by i said the church is looking better with every passing day i'm so glad to be in the church you may ask why jesus plainly said it when he asked peter who do men say that i am and of course in the world there was a multiplicity of opinions of the identity of jesus christ some said john the baptist some said you're this prophet some said you're that that one there was all kinds of divisions because in the world there is division but then he asked peter he asked but who do you say that i am peter said thou art the christ the son of the living god you are god robed in flesh that's who you are you are almighty god robed in a human flesh jesus started out by saying blessed art now and don't forget that part of the verse because one of the reasons i'm happy tonight is i've got a revelation i'm happy tonight but not because i've got riches i'm happy tonight because i've got a revelation and tell you people that have a revelation are happy people he said blessed are thou simon barjona for flesh and blood did not reveal this to you but my father and i say unto you that you are peter and upon this rock i will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it you ask me while i'm why i'm happy tonight i'm happy because i have a revelation of who jesus is i'm glad tonight to know that jesus is the almighty god i'm glad to know that he is the almighty the almighty god i'm so thankful tonight so happy so thrilled in my spirit to know the identity of jesus christ but now here's an added benefit that goes with the revelation he said flesh and blood has not revealed this to you and here's an added blessing and i give unto you the keys to the kingdom and whatever you bind on earth whatever you with the revelation whatever you bind on our bond is to restrict whatever you deem you have a revelation of who i am and whatever you deem needs to be restricted because you have the revelation you have authority and you can restrict you combine and then he said whatsoever you want to lose anything you that have the revelation you see that you want it to be loose you have the authority to loose it on the earth i'm so glad tonight to not only have the revelation of who jesus is but i'm glad to be a man of divine authority and you are too in the scripture that the enemy that's the only one i know i want to bind tonight i want to bind him up as a matter of fact one of my favorite scriptures in the book of revelation is when the angel comes down from heaven with a great chain and the bible says he binds satan and he shuts him up it says it and he shuts him up that's one of my favorite verses in the bible that satan will one day be shut up he'll one day to be shut up but i don't have to wait for that day to shut him up i'm glad that the people that have the revelation of who jesus christ is have the authority right now to say i shut that up in jesus name i'm buying that up in jesus name i'm glad to have the revelation of who he is the 14th chapter of the book of exodus is very interesting to read because israel has been israel has been delivered they're no longer in egypt they're no longer in the hands of pharaoh they have been delivered a pillar a column a fire divine presence of god has led them out of their bondage it has led them out of their captivity and now that pillar a fire that's leading them which is none other than the presence of almighty god moses hears from god and moses begins to give the people direction of how they should go and god was telling moses that he wanted the people to go in a certain direction and we have here a beautiful analogy of the of the cloud being the spirit of god and moses representing the word of god i'm thankful tonight that we're just not led by happen chance our lives are not just left up to choice and happen chance i'm glad if you're in the church we're being led by two things we're being led by the spirit of god and we're being led by the word of god and in a crazy mixed up world like we're living in 2020 i can't help but lift my hands and say thank you jesus that we're being led by your word and we're being led by your spirit would you give him a hand to praise right now god says to moses tell the people to go down here and encamp now on the map you would see that there was a better way to go and on the map that you would see that moses led the people into a dead end to where they were facing the red sea god did all this because god wanted the world to know he said i want you to put my people in what looks like to the world a very foolish thing as a matter of fact as you read the chapter 14 you'll read where pharaoh comments and pharaoh says while they're just wandering around why they've just got entangled in the wilderness they're not going anywhere any sensible people brother mayford any sensible people pharaoh said if those people had any sense about them instead of going that direction they went they would have went the other direction that would have got them into a free land these people that have little sense they've been led down here into the in the the wilderness has entangled them in and they're down there at the red sea and god says i've done all this because i'm going to put it in pharaoh's heart to come after you because what god's plan had god already had it planned god was going to let the world know and test the church at the same time because now pharaoh gets together with all of his men and he begins to say we've made a mistake we made a horrible mistake what were we doing letting them go come on get a bunch of chariots get your best get your best men and let's let's head on down and let's get these uh israelites and let's bring them back and of course the israelites they they're just they're just happy they're delivered they're down there by the red sea they're just glad that they're not in egypt anymore but all of a sudden one of them looks back and they see this plume of smoke coming from egypt and somebody said this is none other than pharaoh this is none other than his armies and they go into the conversation because listen every everything that happens that affects the church is a test to see how we'll respond now this test that they had was to see if they could develop faith because even though we've been delivered from egypt doesn't mean that we've graduated you see it just took a few weeks to come out of egypt but it took them 40 years to get egypt out of them because there had to be a testing time and even this year of covet 20 at covet 19 has been a testing time it's been a testing time for the church i said it i believe that god divinely give it to me i said it when it first happened that covet 19 is going to affect the church this way if you were weak in march of 2020 you are weaker right now spiritually if you were strong in march of 2020 then you are stronger right now this has this doesn't this had this does not have a neutral effect on the church it either made the church weaker or it made people in the church stronger i want to cast my vote tonight and it's going to count too i want to cast my vote tonight and i'm going to say i'm stronger right now than i was back in march of this year i'm stronger right now my faith is more alive right now i'm believing god for more things right now all because god let us whoever whoever thought that we could shut the church down for several weeks and yet the secretary would come out and say not that the giving has decreased but that the giving has increased who would have ever thought that in the that in a year of just great uncertainties in the world there may have a lot of uncertainties but i'm standing looking i've seen god bring finances to this church for the last several months i've seen god bring finances out of absolutely nowhere i have seen god just speak to people in this church and and people in in the united states that have just felt led and just felt led to send the church to send the church an offering you know what god is saying he is saying i'm going to be able to take care of you i'm able to supply all of your needs according to my riches in glory i don't even have to have you attending church to take care of the house of god in the area of finances the week got weaker and if the weaker watching tonight let this be a encouragement to you to begin to get stronger again in your faith because the internet is a good thing to have but it can never take the place of the sanctuary your living room your couch should never take the place of the sanctuary and one of the reasons is you can receive there in your living room but you can't give there in your living room say oh yeah brother carpenter i'm cinnamon i'm not talking about there's a whole lot more to living for god than just giving money that's something about giving your presence giving your prayer giving yourself in the house of god i need the fellowship of god's house and you need the fellowship of god's house and we need each other in god's house but israel they failed the test in a lot of ways because they went and got a hold of moses and they said is this not what we told you when we was in egypt to leave us alone was it not good enough that we could have died in egypt and at least had a good burial in egypt why did you have to come and take us out of egypt we could have died in egypt have you brought us out here so we can die in this wilderness have you done this and then moses here's what will turn you around tonight to the week here's what will turn you around verse number 13 of chapter 14. was it no graves is not this the word that we told you in egypt saying let us alone that we may serve the egyptians for it had been better for us to serve the egyptians then that we should die in the wilderness they failed the test you see it is possible it is possible to win a battle but lose the victory god doesn't want you and i living in a one-time victory god wants us living in a continual victory regardless of what we see coming god wants us to live in a continual victory wherever you're at you ought to be able to say i got the victory boy this is some language that we need to resurrect in the church today we need to resurrect that we used to listen the old timers they used to talk about i've got the victory you know what that meant don't you that meant that whatever they had been through or whatever they were going through they still had a hold of the faith of god and they believed that god was going to bring them out it's possible to win the battle but lose the victory don't lose the victory don't lose the victory in your life and think it was better for you in the world it was not better for you in the world don't lose the don't lose the victory and begin to think that this is not the place that you need to be don't don't don't think the world's got what you need and you're in the house of god and it's got it's got things out there you don't need anything that's in the world we don't need one thing that's in the world i've got the victory i've got the victory but they failed the test in moses verse number verse number 13 and moses said unto the people fear not stand still see the salvation of the lord here's what will help us all tonight it's a simple step fear not fear not now fear's an interesting thing because fear has the ability to create full color imagery and stories in our mind fear does fear has the ability for us to see in living color what is the possibility that might happen the first thing moses said to the people is you turned around and you saw egypt coming after you and i'm telling you get those images out of your head fear not now fear is an interesting word because we're also told to fear the lord well which is it well it's simply this it starts and then it branches into one of two paths fear is what you have heard they were fearful and thought they had made a mistake in coming out of egypt because of what they saw they saw the egyptians coming so fear went ahead and produced future fear went ahead and said now reality is brother naomi and sister and amy and sarah and it's good to have y'all home tonight aren't we glad to have they've been on deputation we're glad to have him home but i won't use a phrase that my wife she uses it so much time she'll say somebody be telling her something and she'll say well there's no reality to that anybody ever heard her say that parker get both your hands down back there all right she'll say there's no reality to that in other words he'll be telling oh sister carpenter this right here is happening and sister carpenter this is that and this is going to happen and that's going to happen and this has happened and this is what somebody said and this is what they think and then i can just hear it say i hear what you're saying but there's no reality what you're saying now let me tell you reality now let's see reality reality is this number one pharaoh's coming after them that's reality but also reality is pharaoh doesn't have me god never god never promised us the devil wouldn't come after us he never promised us he wouldn't come after us but he did promise us if we'll stay in alignment with the word of god that the devil can't have us now reality is the enemy's coming after you but you see they went ahead and they went ahead and allowed faith to create a future and the future is pharaoh swooped in upon them got a hold of them killed some of them dragged most of them back to egypt and put them back to work on making the pyramids that's what fear did and so that's why they're starting to move they're starting to move where are they at they're exactly where the lord told them to be moses tell the people to go in that direction where are they at they're exactly where the lord told them to be but when they allowed fear to begin to tell them of future things they begin to move around a little bit that's why moses said after you fear not get those images out of your head stand still stay right where god has you they tell me that if you're in the woods and you get lost that the best thing for you to do is to stay right where you're at right where you realize that you don't know where you're at to stay right where you're at because if you keep wandering around you will get more lost with every step that you take can i tell you tonight sometimes we go into trials and tests from god that we can't feel god we can't understand god we can't we can't see god necessarily we can't see him working in our family but you cannot tell you this you need to simply stand still stay right where god has you don't allow the devil to move you out of the place that god has you because god didn't lead you to a dead end god led you to the first step of a miracle of splitting a red sea can i talk to you tonight can i tell somebody tonight that you're fearing you've already allowed fear because remember i told you fear takes you in one of two branches fear will either take you into being afraid i'm afraid of what's going to happen in the future i've got to make some moves i got to take things into my own hands i'm afraid i'm wasting my time here at church i'm afraid i've wasted my teenage years i've wasted some of my years here in the church i just don't you know there's just nothing happening i'm just afraid that i'm i'm just afraid that i'm wasting my time but wait a minute fear can also take you in another direction and fear can take you into revering the presence of god because the same fear that has you seeing pharaoh taking you back can be mixed with faith of god's word that i'll never leave you nor ever forsake you there there's more with you that is against you how greater is he that is within you than he that is in the world you know the two things we need to make it through we need to plug into our power and our power is the holy ghost and our power is the word of god but the power is the holy ghost and our power is the word of god no weapon formed against me will prosper greater is he that he that was within you than he that is in the world i will never leave you i will never forsake you yea though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death you'll feel no evil for thy rod and thy step that shall comfort me you anoint my head with oil surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life come on now you know what the image of going back and i've wasted my time can drag me back i'll get out of the will of god i'll get out of the sanctuary i'll get out of the house of god but he said fear not stop allowing those imageries to be in your mind why brother carpenter i've been trying to tithe and seems like the more that i tie the the more behind i get said i started tithing i started giving some offerings and tithing and said they sent me a meal that i owed over two years ago and i just don't i just don't know about this no no no that's that's fear that's fear don't let that move you away from your blessing don't let that move you away from your blessing because fear wants to say it's not doing any good but faith says bring you all the tithe into the storehouse and prove me now here we saith the lord if i will not open you the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing that there shall not be room enough to come on tonight fear not i don't know who i'm talking to tonight maybe some of you got a report some of you have imagery in your mind that it's just not worth it some of you have even been toying around that there is no god can i tell you tonight fear not get that image out of your mind in the beginning god created the heavens and the earth and be still fear not fear not stand still i've been praying praying praying i've been going the prayer room and go in the prayer room and go in the prayer room and it's not doing any good can i tell you something you ever heard somebody talk about god answering prayer anybody got a prayer answered anybody knows he's a prayer answered god he's a prayer answering god anybody believe he is a prayer answering god anybody here tonight want to any anybody want to disagree with that statement anybody had a prayer answered anybody had a prayer answer he's a prayer answering god isn't he and i tell you sister crowder called me and she probably watching tonight but she called me monday and she told me that they found some kind of mass they found some kind of tumor inside her body and she said it caused me pain brother carpenter it's causing me pain said i've been in pain said the doctors already said it doesn't matter if it's it doesn't matter if it's malignant it doesn't matter if it's benign said i could not undergo being put to sleep said the doctor said if i put you to sleep you'd never come back said with your your health condition said you're just going to have to live with it you're just going to she said oh brother carpenter's monday she said i'm in so much pain and we had prayer me and sister crowder had prayer i'm going to go ahead and tell you how it is because too many people ride things there's no reality to there's no real some people just feel like they ought to float in they ought to get up in the morning and float out of the bed and float to prayer and they'll just have two or three miracles before they even get to the red light and they ought to have this and that all these things that's going our life there's no reality to that it's life but in the midst of life he said i've come that you might have life and that you might have it more abundantly now did i pray for sister crowder oh i absolutely did did i pray for her absolutely i had compassion i had compassion on her we had prayer on the phone i prayed for her and talked on for a few moments and i hung up about a half hour later she texted me back she said i have no pain she said brother carpenter oh praise be to god glory to god bless his sweet name i got it all on my text bless his sweet name glory to god i have no pain i said oh that's good it was a few more hours later she gave me another text she said i'm telling you i have no pain i got up this morning she sent me another text i have no pain today she sent me another text i have no pain you can't tell me god doesn't hear prayer i don't have to have all my thoughts in a line god's blessing god's moving god's ancient prayer i gotta see that in my mind that the world may know and of course i'm glad i'm in the church because that cloud motherfar that cloud that pillar of fire that was in front of them moved around and came behind them and it came between israel and egypt that's the spirit of god came between israel and egypt don't tell me god won't take care of his people that's why you better make sure you're in the church because he says in his word i bear no rule over those that are not called by my name you better make sure you got his name you better make sure you belong to him give you a little story that night in the garden brother jesse that night in the garden the captains from the temple came to arrest jesus and jesus stepped out jesus stepped out he met him had his disciples behind him he said whom do you seek they said jesus of nazareth he said i am he and the bible says not my word the bible says when he said i am he that immediately they all stumbled and fell and fell to the ground can't you hear the the the shields and things clanging around lanterns moving around and they kind of get back up and straighten their hats back up and put their shields back on it and they step back up there and he says who you seek they said jesus of nazareth he said i am he and once again something just pushes them to the ground and then he says this to him he says i am he leave these alone can i tell you that he's going to take care of the church that's why you better make sure you're in the church because he's not going to take care of egypt but he is going to take care of the church he's going to take care of the church but there it's in the cloud the cloud moves from the front and comes in behind them and now they can't see egypt because of the cloud that's what i want us to invite into our lives is the holy ghost because the holy ghost will block my view of egypt so they come around behind them and then the bible says that on the egyptian side it was pure darkness but on the israelite side it was light it was light on the it was light on the israelite side but it was darkness on the egyptian side so that one could not come near to the other the israelite didn't want to go through the light to go to darkness and the egyptians couldn't go through the darkness to get to the light but you know why put it there don't you because two things are happening right now the bible tells us in the book of psalms that when the cloud came around that god opened up the windows and began to cause a rain to come down heavy upon the egyptians that it began to rain heavy and it began to thunder very loud the book of psalms tells us this that it began to rain heavy and the thunder began to boom and the lightning ran upon the ground there's all kinds of things happening on the egyptian side but on the israelite side there's a wind blowing there's a wind blowing and as they watch the wind blowing they watch as the wind is creating a path through the red sea and the wind blew stronger and stronger until they begin to see say things like this i see it i see what he's doing i see what's happening right now god is making a way the water is beginning to congeal that word is used in jail is used the word can jail means even it means to harden it means to even be frozen they begin to witness the wind beginning to blow and they begin to witness a path that was being made meanwhile on the egyptian side it was raining it was thundering it was lightning and boy they were sure afraid because they had brought a bunch of iron chariots down and they were getting off the chariots because lightning was running the ground i guess what i've come to tell you that you're either going to live in the storm or you're going to live in salvation and you get to choose if you want to live in the storm get out there in egypt and you're going to have a storm like nobody has ever seen before but if you want to live in salvation stay in the church just stay right where god's got you the wind of pentecost is going to blow and the deliverance is going to come just stay in the church stay in the church you know the story pharaoh went in after him and god just the same same waters that made the deliverance was the same waters that was closed matter of fact if you read it very carefully you'll see that god told moses to stretch his rod out over the sea and it divided and then you'll read when they got them to the other side that god once again told moses to stretch his hand out over the sea and the sea came back in and drowned all of the egyptians so i guess what i'm trying to preach tonight is is god's word and god's spirit has the ability to cut a path and it has the ability to annihilate our enemy god's word i can't explain it i i i can't i all i do is get you to believe it i've got to get you to allow your faith not to be afraid but to turn into reverence toward god that's why we lift our hand why do you lift your hands i'm going to praise god you don't praise him unless you first reverence him you'll never you'll you will never praise and worship him unless you reverence him as your god as your lord that's never done you nothing but good that has withheld nothing good from your life the god that blesses you the god that leads you the god that guides you i can either begin to let fear tell me this is no good or i can let fear tell me i'm going to worship him i'm going to praise him i'm going to come to the house of god when the doors are open i'm going to come whether i get a blessing whether i have a chill bump i'm going to reverence him as king of kings and lord of lords because he is worthy would you stand with me tonight he is worthy he is worthy that the world may know that the world may know i tell you there's something tonight that god would like to convince us about is how nervous hell is about you hell is nervous about us because we're not allowing the norm to make us fit into something hell is nervous about you little mama little single mama every time you come to church with that baby on your knee hell's nervous about you because hell knows that babies grow up to be adults and adults grow up to become great leaders in the kingdom of god don't believe don't believe that statement tonight the next time you meet a devil ask him how nervous he was when they put moses in that little ark little mama tonight you think that you're just insignificant you think you don't really matter keep on bringing them kids to church because with every service that you come in every season of life they're going to get five or six or seven years old and they're going to begin to ask you serious questions like i want to be saved i want to be baptized i want the holy ghost they're going to grow up in their teenage years and they're going to go to strong tower and somebody's going to tell you about your boy laying in the altar slain in the holy ghost somebody's going to tell you about your daughter that laid in the altar and talked in tongues for an hour and 45 minutes keep on bringing them to the house of god and you're going to hear them say mama i think god wants me to pastor a church over here in winchester tennessee keep on mama because hell is so nervous if there's something that god would like for you to know tonight is hell is very nervous about your faithfulness hell is very nervous about how faithful you are every time you lift your hands when you have no reason other than you revere him hell says if he keeps on doing that god's going to split a red sea for him if she keeps on coming she's going to slowly get enough strength to climb out of this downward spiral that i've got her going in if they keep on coming they're going to grow out of the bitterness they're tempted to be bitter if they keep on coming they're going to grow out of all of that fear not stand still and see the salvation of the lord and then the bible said then israel began to sing oh we got a song tonight don't we i said we got a song tonight don't we we got a song anybody got a song tonight you can't you can't have thanksgiving without a song see if you can stay with me for just another minute exodus 15 verse number six this is a song thy right hand o lord has become glorious in power thy right hand o lord hath dashed in pieces the enemy and in the greatness of thine excellency thou hast overthrown them that rose up against thee thou sent us forth thy wrath which consumed them as stubble and with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together the flood stood upright as a heat and the depths the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea the enemy said i will pursue i will overtake i will divide the spoil my lust shall be satisfied upon them i will draw my sword my hand shall destroy them thou did blow with thy wind and the sea covered them they sank as led in the mighty waters who is like unto thee o lord among the gods who is like unto thee glorious in holiness fearful in praises doing wonders we've got a song tonight why don't we sing that song right now we've got a song of got the victory i've got the victory that the world may know and that the church may sing come on tonight for just a few moments i've got a victory right now lord i praise you
