Summary

Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.

Hear, understand, value: the Lord our God is one

  • There is one thing the devil and the preacher agree on: there is one God. They differ from there — the devil believes and trembles; we believe and worship.
  • His text is Deuteronomy 6:4 — Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord — and the word 'hear' means more than sound: understand it, comprehend it, and value it, taking the definition of one God from the word of God and from no religion, group, or culture.
  • Malachi put it to a backslidden Israel: Have we not all one father? Hath not one God created us?
  • When a scribe who had heard Jesus answer well asked which is the first commandment of all, Jesus answered with the same words: Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord. If the first commandment is not settled, nothing built on the others stands.
  • Again and again Scripture calls Him the Holy One — not a holy three or a holy half dozen; a long list of verses across the whole Bible identifies Him the same way.

Scriptures: Deuteronomy 6:4; Malachi 2:10; Mark 12:28-29

Commandments for a people entering a land of many gods

  • Deuteronomy repeats what was already said because Israel stands on the brink of leaving the wilderness for a promised land inhabited by idol worshipers who believe in many gods; Moses fills them with commandments, statutes, and judgments to do in that land.
  • Keep all His statutes and commandments — not ninety-nine percent — all the days of your life, you and your son and your son's son, that your days may be prolonged, and observe to do it, that it may be well with you in the land flowing with milk and honey.
  • Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might; and these words were to be written on the posts of the house and on the gates — Israel did not blend in with the Canaanites; they stuck out, unashamed of the God who brought them out of Egypt.
  • When the Lord brings you into great and goodly cities you did not build, houses full of good things you did not fill, wells you did not dig, and vineyards you did not plant, and you have eaten and are full — then beware lest you forget the Lord who brought you out of the house of bondage; fear Him, serve Him, and swear by His name.
  • You shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people round about you — the Canaanites ran from god to god for crops, rain, war, and harvest, but Israel was told there is no God but one; and the Lord your God is a jealous God among you: you shall not tempt Him as He was tempted in the wilderness.

Scriptures: Deuteronomy 6:1-3; Deuteronomy 6:5; Deuteronomy 6:9; Deuteronomy 6:10-14; Deuteronomy 6:15-16

A peculiar treasure, a kingdom of priests

  • Why leave a different people in the midst of the nations? Exodus answers: if you will obey My voice indeed — that means action — and keep, that is guard, My covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure unto Me above all people, for all the earth is Mine.
  • And you shall be unto Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation: a priest goes between God and sinful man, so the one-God people are God's treasure placed in their city to preach — the message cannot be dumbed down or left unpreached for fear of offending.
  • The priests' message is Peter's: Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Scriptures: Exodus 19:5-6; Acts 2:38

God is a Spirit — and the Lord is that Spirit

  • God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth — His essence and nature are spirit.
  • Now the Lord is that Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty: there is no freedom and no deliverance in false doctrine.

Scriptures: John 4:24; 2 Corinthians 3:17

Omnipresent and invisible

  • Thus saith the Lord: the heaven is My throne and the earth is My footstool — where is the house you could build for such a God? Solomon confessed at his own temple that the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain Him, much less the house he had built.
  • Am I a God at hand, saith the Lord, and not a God afar off? Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? Do not I fill heaven and earth? There is no fleeing from His Spirit — up to heaven, down to the grave, or to the uttermost parts of the sea, even there His hand leads and His right hand holds.
  • He is the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto, whom no man hath seen nor can see; Moses forsook Egypt and endured, as seeing Him who is invisible.

Scriptures: Isaiah 66:1; 1 Kings 8:27; Jeremiah 23:23-24; Psalm 139:7-10; 1 Timothy 1:17; 1 Timothy 6:16; Hebrews 11:27

Creation is His evangelist

  • The invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that men are without excuse — a verse he has read twice and returns to, because creation starts the first manifestation of God as Father; there is no Mother Nature, only Father Creator.
  • Before there was a beginning there was God: in the beginning God created the heaven and the earth; the earth was without form and void, the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters, and God said, Let there be light — He does not need vocal cords, tongue, or teeth to speak.
  • The heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament showeth His handiwork; day unto day uttereth speech and night unto night showeth knowledge, in every language and to the ends of the earth — an evangelist that reaches every land He created, and one day every person will answer for what that witness said.
  • Yet professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things; unthankfulness in the heart lets that folly into the head.

Scriptures: Romans 1:20; Genesis 1:1-3; Psalm 19:1-6; Romans 1:20; Romans 1:22-23

The Father who purposed to dwell in us

  • He is a father of the fatherless and a judge of the widows in His holy habitation, and His people cry, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.
  • Nowhere is the Father called the eternal Father, and nowhere is there an eternal Son named as such; the one place Scripture speaks of the eternal Spirit settles it — God has always been Spirit, became Father at creation, and was not always dwelling in flesh.
  • Creation was not the end of the design: God purposed to dwell inside a human being, and to do that He had to become human Himself — all the fullness of the Godhead dwells in Him bodily, not a second person of man's religion.
  • Psalm 19 turns at verse seven from the creator to His word: the law of the Lord — that word law means His word — is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; His statutes are right, rejoicing the heart. What changed us was not creation's splendor but the Word made flesh.

Scriptures: Psalm 68:5; Psalm 89:26; Psalm 19:7-9

so I want to preach tonight on something the devil and I agree upon there's one thing that the devil and I agree upon tonight and that is that there is one God all right now we differ from that point he believes in one God and he trembles we believe in one God and we worship Deuteronomy chapter 6 verse number four Deuteronomy 6 and 4 a verse that is so powerful a verse that is a foundational Stone in the Bible here o Israel the Lord our God is one Lord tonight would you be surprised if I told you that my title tonight is the doctrine of one God the doctrine of one God could we pray tonight Heavenly Father we thank you tonight for your word we thank you for what we are built upon we value it God we thank you Lord for the Bible and we thank you Lord for your word we thank you God that you are one and that you have written and told us God that you are one Lord I pray tonight God that my beautiful helpmate that's at home watching right now God that you would touch her body you would heal her body Lord but Lord I need you I need you to touch me tonight I need you to touch her in Jesus Wonderful Name that we pray amen would you worship him before you're seated would you worship Him oh come on could we worship him tonight the doctrine of one God I'd like to read just a paragraph from John Gil's exposition of the Bible John Gil writes and he says the Lord our God is one Lord the doctrine of which is that the Lord who was the Covenant God and Father Of His People Israel is but one Jehovah he is Jehovah the being of beings a self-existent being Eternal immutable that word immutable means unchanging and and he is but one in nature and Essence this appears from the Perfection of his nature his eternity omnipotence that means all powerful omnipresent that means he's all present Infinity goodness self-sufficiency and Perfection for there can be but one Eternal there can be but one omnipotent there can be but one omnipresent one that is originally and of himself good on self and all sufficient and being perfect being of which also may may be concluded from his being the first cause of all things which can be but one and from his relations to his creatures he is our one king our one ruler our one Governor he is our lawgiver now this evening we must understand that the word in Deuter Deuteronomy 6 and4 that word that begins that word that begins with hear here it's an interesting word but it means more than just hearing sound waves tonight it means more than just what you're hearing from my voice here oh Israel such as one person telling another person here o Israel this word here also has the meaning of understand understand it has the meaning of comprehend so when we we look at this tonight we must remind our ourselves that we must understand that there is one God that we must comprehend that there is one God and just by by by by that understanding and that comprehending that we will always value the fact that we know there is one God that we will value that we will comprehend that we will not fall prey we will not fall prey to just looking at the subject of one God and just accepting anyone's definition that there is one God the only definition that I'm after about one God Is Not What a religion tells me or a group of men tell me or a culture but the only definition that I'm after tonight is the definition that is in the word of God hear comprehend understand value the Lord our God is one Lord Malachi chapter 2 and verse number 10 Israel at this time had backslid and the prophet Malachi was trying to bring them back to God and in Malachi 2:10 he said says these words to Israel have we not all how many fathers one father hath not one God created us now I think for time sake I might cut some of these out but I have a list of scriptures tonight that would end this way 2 Kings 19:22 the Bible says in 2 Kings 19:22 whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed against whom hast thou exalted thy voice and lifted up thine eyes on high even against the Holy One of Israel now I can just tell you job 610 Psalms 16:10 Psalms 8918 Isaiah 519 Isaiah 40:25 Isaiah 43:15 Isaiah 550 Isaiah 4511 Luke 4:34 1 John 2 and 20 would all inform us and that's just a few of many verses that God identifies himself not as a holy three or the holy four or the holy half dozen God repeatedly tells his people that I am the Holy One I am the Holy One to understand to comprehend to understand and to comprehend and upon that we will receive the value when someone wants to tell you oh it really doesn't matter it's a just a big pot of goulash it's just a big part of however you see it you're going to be able to say oh you need to understand it the way the Bible says it because if you'll understand it you'll understand it is our foundational Stone as a matter of fact Jesus in Mark 12: 22 go there with me Jesus was being I would say interrogated by by the religious people that day and they were trying to trip him up they were asking him all kinds of different questions they were trying to trip him up he would answer them just left and right in Mark 12: 28 the Bible says and one of the scribes came a scribe is a lawyer scribe is a brilliant man probably a wealthy man of that day one of the scribes came and having heard Jesus reason reing together he listened he EAS dropped he heard Jesus reasoning together and perceiving that he had answered them well ask him which is the first commandment of all now this scribe he listened to the way that Jesus answered and he said that's that's a good answer boy he's he's answered them well that's a that's a great way that's he's answered them well and then he wants to know of all all of The Commandments and there there's hundreds of them not just 10 there's many Commandments in the law but the Scribe comes up and he said would you simply tell me what's the first commandment of all tell me what must be first you see when we understand if things are not working out for you in your walk with God you got to understand are you putting first things first I want to know the scrib said tell me what the first the first commandment is what what's the first commandment listen to the answer Jesus answered him the first of all the Commandments is here o Israel the Lord our God is is one Lord you want to know what the first is you see it really wouldn't matter it really wouldn't matter if you were truthful or not if you're not worshiping the one true God it really doesn't matter what are the Commandments that you break if you don't have or keep if you don't have the first one down and he said the first commandment of all is here oh Israel hear comprehend value that the Lord our God is one Lord now let's go back to Deuteronomy chapter 6 um let's go back to Deuteronomy chapter 6 and I I I would like to U I would like to read Deuteronomy chapter number six I'd like to start reading at verse number one and kind of help us out here for just a moment Deuteronomy chapter 6 and verse number one now Moses is talking to God's people the book of Deuteronomy the word means Duo means Duo means twice all right and many things that are written in Deuteronomy has already been said in Exodus or Leviticus it's already been said but it's being said it's being said again because Israel is on the brink of going from the Wilderness to coming into the promised land they're they're on the brink of wandering in a desert to going into the promised land and Moses comes out and in Deuteronomy 6:1 he says now these are the Commandments the statutes and the judgments which the the Lord your God commanded to teach you that you might do them in the land whether you go to possess it now he says I'm filling you up with word and Commandments and statues that's way of living I I I'm giving you Commandments and statues way of living because you're about to go into a land that I have given you but let me go ahead and tell you this the land is inhabited by Idol worshippers and pagans that believe in many many different gods and I'll share with you in just a moment let's read verse two that thou mightest fear the lord thy God to keep some of his statues oh I'm glad you catch your pastor to keep 99% sin God we need a we we need a revelation that they had years ago started out trying to make a h hundred not see as a congregation don't even know that song 99 and a half just won't do that thou mightest fear the lord thy God to keep all his statutes and his Commandments which I command thee thou and thy son and thy son's son all the days of thy life and that the days of thy that thy days may be prolonged don't tell me obeying God's word is not healthy he said I'm wanting you to do this because I want you and your sons and your grandchildren I want your days to be prolonged look at verse three hear therefore o Israel and observe to do it that it might that it may are you y'all looking at this tonight that it may be how well with thee and that you may increase mightily as the Lord God of thy fathers have promised thee in the land that floweth with milk and honey now he's saying I'm I'm prepping you I'm getting you ready because I'm about to put you in a culture that is p istic I'm about to put you in an anti-god culture and in an anti-god culture the church cannot become like the culture if we become like the culture we have lost our power we have lost our ability and so he's saying I'm about to put you Israel in this environment and then he says what we read tonight here the first one here oh Israel the Lord our God is one Lord and then just let me let me let me kind of go through this for a moment verse number five Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart with all thy soul and with all thy might be in love with this word be in love with these Commandments be in love with the statues he goes down verse six and tells them to ride them on the doorpost and bind them around your hand and and and he just tells them all all these things and he comes down he comes down down to verse number 10 verse 9 he says I want you to write ride them upon the post of thine house and upon thy Gates if you just get the picture with me please get the picture with me please these Israelites did not blend in to the Canaanites they stuck out they didn't blend in they were not ashamed of the God who brought them out of Egypt they we're not ashamed to be different can I tell you part of Christian discipline is developing in you the mentality I don't care that I'm Different I said I don't care that I'm different if you ever get to where you start caring that you're different you're going to become a Canaanite but you got to understand God says I'm going to put you somewhere that you're not healthy if you're not different as a commercial out I won't tell you I don't really even know what's advertising and maybe I shouldn't even just bits of parts of it but it's got to do with a football game okay and you got a guy sitting on a couch with a red sweater looks rather odd and a bowl of popcorn somebody comes and tries to get his seat he oh no no no no no no no I was sitting here the last time our team won I I was right here I had this bow right here I I was wearing this shirt right here I I I I had all this right here no no no no I I'm superstitious I if I can wear what I'm I'm wearing and do and and people in the room are in all kind of weird poses oh I was over here on my cell phone when they kicked the foot I was over here and but the caption just simply says it's not weird if it works can I tell you something I once was lost and this was weird I once was headed and you were I'm using you too we were once lost and we looked at the church and said that's weird right there I'm telling you that that is strange stuff now now but but but once we got in the church yes it's weird but thank god it works I'm telling you it's weird but it's made me happy it may be weird but I've got my healing it may be weird but I've got married it may be weird but I've got joy and peace in my life hey it's not weird if it works you still with me tonight verse 10 and it shall be when the Lord thy God shall have brought thee into the land which you swear unto thy fathers to Abraham to Isaac and to Jacob to give thee great and goodly cities which thou buildest not Houses full of good things which thou fillest not well Wells digged which thou digest not Vineyards all of trees which thou plest not when thou shalt have eaten and be full then beware lest thou for get the Lord which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt from the house of bondage Thou shalt fear the lord thy God and serve him and swear by his name ye shall not go after other gods of the Gods of the people which are around about you stop there verse 14 he says one reason I gave you Deuteronomy 64 here o Israel the Lord your God is one Lord is because I am going to put you in the land of people that are serving many gods I don't want you to start living in houses I'm going to tell you something once you start serving God you are going to prosper you start obeying the word of God of your mind the praise of your heart of worship you start obeying God in the areas of your marriage and you understand how God wants a husband to treat a wife and a wife to treat a husband and you your mom and dad start understanding what God says about how to raise your children and and you start understanding what God says about your finances it's not if it's not maybe it's not a rabbit's foot it's not a fourleaf clover it's not it work for you but it won't work for me you listen to me tonight it will work for you you will start an upward climb toward prosperity of your mind of your marriage of your life of your family of your children you'll start you you you'll begin to look back a year and say man I'm better off right now and then two years man I'm way better off and then 5 years I'm way but then he said then he said this he said in the midst of houses full of good things Olive yards and trees that you didn't plan beware lest thou forget the Lord thy God can I tell you something we're not on McGinley Street anymore can I tell you something Pentecost I'm preaching today in some of the finest buildings and and and and and and I've been preaching for you know about 45 years and I've preached in some rather unusual places one night I was preaching a Revival in South Carolina and the pastor all he had to start a church he rented the end of a dairy barn it was only a cinder block wall golden chairs and a pool pit on the other side of the cinder block wall they were milking cows over there and I kept saying I believe we're going to have a moving service here tonight you know God moved in that place moved in that place you know people got the Holy Ghost in that place you know why they got the Holy Ghost we preach the Holy Ghost people get what you preach if you want them to get the Holy Ghost preach the Holy Ghost people got baptized in Jesus name you know why that's what we preach people came out of false Doctrine and came to serve the one true and living God and serve the one God and the only God why because that's what we preach but what we have to be careful of now that we're not in the end of a dairy barn and now we're not over on the other side of the tracks and were worshiping God Pentecost in some of the finest buildings that they are and in some cities like ours we have the biggest and we have the finest and we have the latest of Technology but it'll all be in vain if we would forget the Lord thy God we're in a we're in a city of different religions we're in a place that defines God M matter of fact ah I'm pre let me tell you we are in a place do you realize because we embrace the Bible definition of one God we are called by religious circles the largest percentage percentage of them call us Heretics and some even doubt our Salvation because we don't Embrace their definition of it well I'm just going to tell you tonight God didn't bring us here for us to be dumbed down God didn't bring us here for us to say you know what we really don't have to preach that anymore and we really better watch preaching it because we just May offend somebody that's come we don't need to go down that Avenue we need to preach it because they need to hear the TR Bible doctrine that there is only one God I hope you hear it till you value it I hope you hear it till you comprehend let me go back verse 14 will you go back there with me doomy 6:14 God said You shall not go after after other gods of the Gods of the people which are round about you now if you've got that brother Dale if you put that on the screen here's just a few of the Gods here's just a few of the Gods there's the god of baale the god of fertility rain thunder he was also a warrior God and was enthroned eel the Supreme deity the god of the sky a father of many gods and that the goddess of war yam the god of the sea can you imagine these people when their crops didn't come in they go pray to this God and when this went wrong they'd go pray to that God and they go to this God and that God and this God and that God of which there is no God but one but God said to his people when you get in the land I want you to hear understand and value that the Lord your God is only one aren't you thankful tonight we're not praying to a statue aren't you thankful tonight that we're not praying to a god that can't hear cannot touch cannot be touched aren't you thankful tonight when we say Jesus we're praying to a god that is alive that hears us when we pray let me keep on reading tonight verse 15 for the Lord thy God is a jealous God among you lest the anger of the Lord thy God be kindled against thee and Destroy thee from off the face of the Earth You shall not tempt the Lord your God as you tempted him in Mesa now God why would you put us in the midst make us different in the midst of all these different Canaanites why didn't you go ahead and kill them God look with me the answer to that is in Exodus 19 and verse 5 God why did you put us here God why are we here in the midst of this Exodus 19 and5 listen to God now there therefore if you will obey my voice indeed that means action and keep my Covenant that word keep there means guard it then you shall be a peculiar what peculiar means different means different you shall be a peculiar what what do you know who the the one God people are they're God's treasure see tonight if you could get more value of what God thinks of you than what people think of you we're not Heretics we're God's treasure you shall be a peculiar I should say that with me treasure look at verse if you don't have your Bibles open look at it on the screen treasure unto who me above all people for all the Earth is mine but here's verse six here's where we find our purpose brother Ericson and ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation these are the words which Thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel you have made me a treasure but you've also made me a priest what does a priest do a priest goes between God and sinful man folks we can't stop preaching the message we can't dumb it down we have got to preach then Peter said unto them repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost God made us to be priests in our city our city needs to hear what we've got but if we allow the devil to numb our brains that we just think everybody is good God's going to curve the grave no sweat don't witness we have lost our ability to be effective in a lost and a Dying World I may be weird they may call me a heretic they may do all of this but Church you hear me tonight we are the priests in Maryville Tennessee we are the priests in Blunt County we are here oh if you believe that tonight I wish you would pray just a moment and you would ask God to touch us tonight H that's not much praying is it I told him this week we need to get busy Soul winning why is the church not Soul winning I'm going to tell you why some may not be Soul winning because some may not have a revelation of how precious this truth is everybody I meet I'm trying to work a conversation to get on baptism everybody I I meet I'm trying to walk through the door you know why they need they need this gospel they need this Bible Doctrine John 4:24 Jesus said now we've established that how many gods are there I'm not just going to let you sit there how many gods are there one one God all right so we established that there's not two Gods as phis told me one time he said he said well I'm he said well I'm not Trinity he said I believe in two I said well that's I guess that's twinity huh I I I get I I can't help it and I hope I never can I I hope I always stay this way we're a one God Church we're a one God Church they come from all over the city oh we want to come Hear You choir we want to come see the beauty of the building we we've heard all about it can we come and see it come on and see it but I'm going to tell you I've never school it's because I believe why are you here tonight I'm here because I am a one God preacher I believe in one God there's not two Gods there's not three Gods there's not six Gods there are not 12 gods there's only one God here oh Israel the Lord Our God all right we've established that he's one God John 4:24 God is a spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and Truth everybody say God is a spirit his Essence his nature God is a spirit now let's say Deuteronomy 4 6 and 4 again together Deuteronomy 6 and4 here o Israel the Lord our God is one Lord John 4:24 God is a spirit let's go back and forth for a moment John 4:24 God is a spirit Deuteronomy 6 and4 here o Israel the Lord our God is one Lord now let's cap it off with 2 Corinthians 3:17 2 Corinthians 3:17 now the Lord is that spirit and where the spirit of the Lord is there is Liberty here oh Israel the Lord thy God is one the Lord our God is one God is a spirit here oh Israel the Lord our God is one now the Lord is that spirit and where the spirit say well why why you preaching this didn't you catch it why why you preaching this didn't you catch it and where the spirit of the Lord is there is Liberty Liberty from what to be led astray to worship God gods that do not exist I am glad tonight to embrace they hear comprehend and value that the Lord our God is one Lord and where the spirit of the Lord is there is Liberty there's no Freedom with false Doctrine there's no Deliverance with false Doctrine scripture will teach us scripture will teach us that the spirit of God is omnipresent what does that mean means he's all present it means he's everywhere me he's everywhere he's omnipresent ever ever present well how present is he well let him tell you Isaiah 66 And1 how y'all doing tonight y'all all right notice I didn't say how am I doing I know I'm doing good I'm wondering how you doing tonight are you valueing the word of God are you are you valueing you're to be ashamed to waste all your time and figure out at the very end you were worshiping the wrong God Isaiah 66 And1 let's let him tell us how omnipress he is thus sayeth the Lord the heaven is my throne and the Earth is my foot stool where is the house that you build un me and where is the place of my rest do you realize that God is so big that he refers to the Earth as where he props his feet up and he refers to the vastness of Heaven brother Johnstone of which the heavens are so vast they have things like light year they they they describe travel in terms of light years that that planet is so many light years away and that that means if you could travel at the speed of light all right that if you could travel at the speed of light ever how many years it is away that's how it's so vast we can't even comprehend how vast it is God said I'm going to tell you the heaven is my Throne the Earth is my foot stol let's go to First Kings 8 and 27 Solomon builds a house but in First Kings 8:27 Solomon says but will God indeed dwell on the earth behold the heaven and Heaven of Heavens cannot contain thee how much less this house that I have built oh he thought I'm I'm going to build God a house when Shak of Glory fell Solomon says the heaven of Heaven of Heavens cannot contain me come on Jeremiah testify Jeremiah 23:23 somebody say amen amen Jeremiah 23:23 am I a god at hand that means close sayeth the Lord and not a god a far off he said settle something am I a God that's only close and not a far off can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him sayth the Lord do not I feel Heaven and Earth sayth the Lord Psalms 139:7 whether shall I go from thy spirit and whether shall I flee from thy presence if I Ascend up into heaven Thou Art there if I make my bed in hell behold Thou Art there if I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea even there shall thy hand lead me and thy right hand shall guide me look at what he says he said if I go as far up as I can there you are if I go as far down as I can there you are if I take the wings of the morning and horizontally go as far this way and as far that way there you are God he's describing he's describing the spirit is Omni present now God isn't visible to the human eye God is invisible God is invisible 1 Timothy 1:17 now unto the king Eternal Immortal invisible the only wise God be honor and Glory forever and ever amen 1 Timothy 6 16 who only hath immortality dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto whom no man has seen nor can see to whom be honor and power Everlasting amen Hebrews 11:27 by faith Moses forsook Egypt not fearing the Wrath of the king look at this please with me for he endered as seeing him who is invisible Romans is interesting Romans 1:20 says it this way for the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen being understood by the things that are made even his eternal power and godhead so that they are without excuse now let's look look at verse 20 we we really need to dive into this for just the remainder of my Bible class look at verse 20 of Romans 1:20 for the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen the invisible things of God from the creation of the world are clearly seen being being understood by the things that are made even his eternal power and godhead so that they are without excuse now please understand pre-creation there was God pre-creation there was God and pre-creation there was in the mind of God everything that you and I see see today was in the mind of God pre-creation it was in the mind of God but when God spoke when God spoke when God spoke when God spoke matter of fact brother Eric get them to turn that microphone on right there and and and no no for you and go to Genesis chapter 1 somebody say when God spoke God spoke you see here's what we have to train our minds we have us then God wrong it was God before there was ever an earth there was God before there was ever a anything visible that we can see there was God and Paul says to the Romans for the invisible things of him the from the creation of the world are clearly seen and understood by the things he created even his eternal power and godhead so that they are without excuse can I tell you tonight that God so designed man that every man will give an account well they got to hear the gospel no they don't creation is an evangelist creation starts the first manifestation of God as father it was at creation there's no such thing as Mother Nature that's the product of man there's not Mother Nature there's only father Creator God is a spirit read Genesis 1 take us to where it started Genesis 1:1 in the beginning God created the Heaven and the earth now not the beginning of God yeah in the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth not the beginning of God in the beginning God our beginning yeah read on brother Eric said our beginning but before there was a beginning yeah there was a God and still is today who is an invisible Spirit an invisible Spirit read on brother ericon and the Earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep and the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters what moved spirit of God what moved spirit of God moved upon the face of the water read on and God said let there be light and there was light and God said yeah can I tell you that only God can be a spirit he doesn't have to have vocal cords tongue nor teeth come on for God to speak we have humanized God and when we humanize we limit him in his power but God who is an omnipresent spirit the Canaanites had to go down and fall down before their God put that picture back up they had to go down and fall before their God to be in the presence of their God but not the Israelites they sered the god that whether way on a mountain he is there they're in a valley he is there they're in their tent he is there you say what he's everywhere you better believe he's everywhere well can I tell you all it takes to activate it is to worship him all it takes to activate him is to worship Him man brother Carpenter our home is full of hell you need to start worshiping and praising God and God can be manifested in your own home he can be manifested in your car he can folks I love this tonight I love this tonight the Canaanites had to go to their place of wherever their deity wherever their Idol was not Israel Psalms chapter 19 verse1 listen to Psalms 19 verse1 look at the spiritual the the biblical meaning of this Psalms 19 And1 The the heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament showeth his handiwork day unto Day utth speech night unto night showeth knowledge there is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard their line is gone out through all the Earth and their words to the end of the world in them hath he set a tabernacle for the son which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber and rejoiceth as a strong man to the race he goeth for he his going forth is from the end of heaven and his circuit under the ends of the Earth and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof God said I will create an evangelist I will create an evangelist to go into all the lands and any language any continent the sun will come up and the sun will go down and the rain will fall and the vapor will go up and the winds will come and creation will grow animals will reap animals will multiply I will create this awesome vast powerful glorious Earth as a witness and a testimony that I am the father of creation that I am am folks I am telling you that the world has no excuse does this not you may be seated for just a moment does this not bring clear why Satan would inject into the minds just read Romans 1 professing themselves to become wise they changed the glory of the uncorruptible god and made an image like to corruptible man Birds four-footed beasts and creeping things neither were they thankful can I tell you whenever we leave the worship of God unthankfulness sets into our heart and when unthankfulness gets into our hearts stupidity gets into our heads they begin to see Evolution evolution is the biggest lie that's ever been taught by any college professor in all the world evolution is a demonic evangelist to try to Rob God from being the father of all creation you ought to be on your feet worshiping God right now you ought to be thanking him God God created the heavens and the Earth God created the heavens and the Earth God God created the Heaven and the Earth God is the father of creation God is our Father God oh God I'm so glad that my children will never be taught Evolution I'm so glad that in our Christian School we would fire immediately Any teacher that would hint that we are the product of a cosmic Collision we are the product of just billions of years of tadp tur into frogs and frogs turning into man and apes and all of that I tell you I am glad tonight I value tonight no wonder God always comes down here oh Israel the Lord Our God W hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah he oh Israel worship oh Israel the Lord Our God could I have you be seated just for a moment y'all are a little nervous and I'm a little nervous too I'm going to tell you I could get on the thought blink a few times it be 15 after 9: I'll try not to do that but the world we need to witness to a world but one day all the world will be judged because God will say I sent you an evangelist every morning to tell you there was a god when you looked out at the vastness of the skies and your telescopes could not reach Beyond I'm telling you there was a God God is identified in the Bible as our father he's identified Psalms 635 excuse me Psalm 685 oh I love this message oh I love this message Psalm 685 a father of the fatherless the judge of the widows is God in his holy habitation Psalms 89 and 26 he shall C cry unto me thou art my father my God and my rock of my salvation you better believe it you better believe it he gives us creation when we refer to God we are referring to the spirit the omnipresent spirit of God who created thus God becomes the father of creation so when we refer to God we say our father we're simply saying you're the one that created us you're the one that created us creation did not create us God created us and God said I gave you the Evangelist now I gave you the Evangelist this is the father nowhere in scripture everybody say nowhere is Father ever called The Eternal Father nowhere in scripture write it down nowhere is he ever called The Eternal son there's only one place in Hebrews that says that he is the eternal spirit yes sir how is that there was an eternity past no Earth no creation thus God was no father but when God created he became the father there was a time when God didn't dwell in a flesh and Bone body conceived in the womb of the Virgin Mary that's why it's called the only begotten but only one time says the eternal spirit how is that there's never been a time that God was not Spirit never never never been a time let me close with this you stand with me let's go back to Psalms 19 and one matter of fact brother ericon would you be so kind I believe you'll see something in scripture with me I'll just drive a nail down right here the good Lord willing I'll come back next Wednesday night the Lord willing I'll take back off right here could you just start again at Psalms 19 And1 and read till I tell you to stop the heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament showeth his handiwork day unto Day utth speech and night unto night showeth knowledge there is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard their line is gone out through all the Earth and their words to the end of the world in them hath he set a tabernacle for the son which is in a bridegroom coming out of his chamber and rejoiceth as the strong man to run a race his going forth is from the end of the heaven and his circuit unto the ends of it and there's nothing hid from the heat thereof stop right there everybody say that's the father that's the father of creation but watch an unusual turn in verse seven I'll give you something to go home and study tonight watch a turn in verse seven the law of the Lord is perfect can okay the law of the Lord is what perfect what does it do converting the soul the testimony of the Lord is sure making wise the sinful the statutes of the Lord are right rejoicing the heart the Commandment of the Lord is pure enlightening the eyes the fear of the Lord is clean enduring forever the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether go back to verse seven the law of the Lord is perfect that word law there means word the word of the Lord is perfect you go in p Psalms 19 1-6 you're talking about God being the creator of all the Earth but he didn't just create us to create us he created us to live in us he didn't create a tree notice that that scripture Romans 120 that that all things are by the things which he made even his power and godhead why do you throw godhead in there because his power shows you the oceans his power shows you the solar system his power shows you the vastness but why do you throw the godhead in there because it was God's ultimate plan not to dwell in a river not to dwell in a lake not to dwell in a tree not to dwell in an animal it was God's ultimate plan to dwell inside of a human but in order for God to dwell inside of a human God had to become a human himself that's why says all the fullness of the godhead dwells in him bodily there's a teaching that says he's a second person in the godhead that's man's religion but the Bible says all the fullness of the godhead dwells in him go back to Psalms go back go back Psalms 19:7 the law of the Lord is perfect the word of the Lord is perfect converting the soul converting the soul the testimony of the Lord is sure the law of the Lord is perfect converting the soul converting changing in the beginning was the word and the Word was with God and the Word was God the same was in the beginning and all things were made by him and the word became flesh and we behave held his glory what changed you not an oak tree what changed you not the mighty Mississippi what's changed you not the Splendor of the Grand Canyon what's changed you was when God became flesh and
