well if you have your bibles and we stand with me today and we will go to the book of matthew matthew chapter 16 verse number 13. the word of the lord is always able to heal us the word of the lord is always able to find us god is going to sit down on us at the conclusion of the message today and if you're hurting you can be healed today if you're hurting you can be healed matthew 16 13. when jesus came into the coast of caesarea philippi he asked his disciples saying whom do men say that i the son of man am and they said some say that thou art john the baptist and some elias and others jeremiah or one of the prophets he saith unto them but whom say ye that i am simon peter answered and said thou art the christ the son of the living god jesus answered and said unto him blessed are about simon barjona for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee but my father which is in heaven and i say unto thee that thou art peter and upon this rock i will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it and i will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was jesus the christ from that time from that time would you say those three words with me from from that time forth began jesus to show unto his disciples how that he must go unto jerusalem and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes and be killed and be raised again the third day then peter took him that don't even sound right does he then peter took him and began listen if you don't you say well what's what's so funny about what's so strange about then peter took him with the next verse and begin to rebuke him now now does that sound a little then peter took him and began to rebuke him saying be it far from thee lord this shall not be unto thee but he turned and said unto peter get thee behind me satan thou art an offense unto me for thou savorists not the things that be of god but those that be of men for a few moments this morning i want to minister on the full revelation of jesus christ the full revelation of jesus christ father i love you this morning god i can't do this without you you're the wind in my sails you're the breath in my body you're the potter and i'm the clay you're the vine god and we are the branches and without you god we can do nothing lord there's many causes in this earth today and none of them deliver from sin god there's many men and women lifting up their voice and believes that they have a worthy cause lord none of their cause is delivered from sin but god what we have done for the last hour is the only thing on planet earth that can completely deliver a person and i asked today that you would touch my lips of clay that i would be anointed to speak in jesus mighty name we pray amen and amen you may be seated i uh i think we would be a little amiss today that if we did not thank the lord with a thunderous hand a praise that we have lived to see what no person believed they would ever see and that is the reversal of roe versus wave oh yes god yes god yes god yes y'all you may be seated we believe in life from the womb to the tomb we believe in life someone said that that the ruling came down at some networks that say the ruling came out at 10 minutes after 10 eastern standard time brother hammond sent me a text he said if he came down at 10 minutes after 10 john 10 10 says i came that you might have life the full revelation of jesus christ the full revelation this entirety here is broke up in two parts jesus at a place a caesarea philippi place was filled with all kinds of idols that were worshiped used the background of caesarea philippi to ask his disciples a question the question simply were was who do men say that i am who do men say that i am it's amazing that they had a plethora of opinions and some said you're john the baptist some said you're john the baptist you are a straight finger-pointing fisted red-faced preacher that calls out sin you're john the baptist others say you're elias you're a miracle worker you are a miracle worker others said you're jeremiah all you do is walk around crying about the sins of the people you're just a compassionate savior you know i believe that all of them were correct because i believe there were times that jesus was red-faced matter of fact he didn't treat those that turned the temple into a den of thieves he didn't treat them very kindly did he i mean he's not tiptoeing through the tulips and watching the inflection of his voice he's turning tables over and cracking a bull whip he's a miracle worker he can walk on water and raise the dead but he can stand over a city and weep over the lost souls of a city he said it's just all you ask some see you as john the baptist some see you as elias some see you as some see you as jeremiah then he asked them he said but but but who who do you say that i am who do you say that i am and uh boy didn't peter shine that day you know isn't it wonderful you remember in school when the teacher asked a question and you raised your hand matter of fact several kids raised their hands remember that glenn of several raised their hands and johnny got his hand up first so he he he got the first hit at it and johnny was wrong and susie raised her hand and she got it wrong and gina raised her hand and she sure got it wrong and andy fer andy that's in ferguson andy holland andy ferguson got it wrong too but andy holland he raised his hand but he got it wrong but old kenny had his hand raised tyler when kenny said that's the answer the teacher said well kenny you're right you're right kenny that's the right answer can he sit back down and spit a paper white at gina how peter must have felt that day when jesus said well who do you say that i am say what you want to but he was the only one that spoke up maybe it had a little something to do with somewhere that's not sure he didn't want to be publicly embarrassed but but peter spoke up and he said well you are the son of the living god you are the christ you are the messiah that's a that's a word that means anointed one that's a word that means a yoke breaker that's the one that means a deliverer you are the christ the son of the living god jesus said you got it right blessed are you simon barjona for upon this rock peter i will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail and unto i give you the keys to the kingdom whatever you loose on earth to be loosed in heaven whatever you bind on earth we bound in heaven peter i'm going to give it to you peter i can just see peter sitting down he had that revelation i can just sing sit down and look around at the others like man i'm shining i'm shining in my day joe hear what he said about me do what you knew that well why didn't you speak up i spoke up do you hear what he said about me here's what's interesting the full revelation of jesus christ is not necessarily only his identity because it goes into another part of this story and says from that time forth from that time forth so let me read you a few verses of scripture because part one of his identity is who he is second corinthians 4 and 4 in whom the god of this world that blinded the minds of them which believe not lest the light of the glorious gospel of christ who is the image of god wow jesus christ is the image of god colossians 1 15 and 16 who is the image of the invisible god the firstborn of every creature for by him were all things created that are in heaven and that are in earth visible and invisible whether there be thrones or dominions or principalities or powers all things were created by him and for him and here's the last one colossians 2 and 9 4 in him dwell of all the the fullness of the godhead bodily i'm glad today to know that jesus is god i'm glad today to know that revelation i'm i'm glad today to know the revelation of who he is but that's only part of the revelation that's only part of the revelation to not go further is to the full revelation of who jesus christ is from that time forth remember we made an emphasis on that when we read that from that time forth he began to tell them now that you know who i am now that you know i am the messiah now i i'm going to tell you we're going to jerusalem and i'm going to be mistreated we're going to jerusalem and and i'm going to be arrested you're going to watch as they wrote my hands up you're going to watch as they take me to pilate's judgment hall you're going to watch as an angry crowd cries crucify you're going to watch they're going to hang me on a tree and they're going to nail my hands and my feet you're going to watch me draw my last breath you're going to watch me draw my last breath you're going to watch me be taken down from a tree wrapped in linen clothes you're going to watch as they put me in a tomb but you're also going to witness a resurrection you're going to witness that i'm going to raise from the dead now why didn't peter just keep his mouth shut because sometimes our revelation if we don't balance it out with life we can become arrogant we can become arrogant and we can become self-righteous peter you got the question right but you should have just kept your mouth shut because people could have said you were called blessed art doubt simon barjona but because when jesus began to talk about suffering and things in life that we don't want peter had to take his revelation and he had to take his revelation too far he reached out i personally believe that he took jesus physically and turned him around i believe that he took him around and physically turned him around and began to rebuke him don't you know that you're god don't you know that i know you're the son of the living god don't you know that we have this revelation of who you are we're not going to suffer we're not going to have bad things happen to us we're not going to seem as if we're out of control in life we're not going to ever be in that situation and they're not going to crucify you and and and all of that raising from the dead on the third day it is not going to happen we are going to live a carefree life with no accidents no sicknesses nobody turning their back on us no angry crowd wanting us to be crucified we are going to live on a bed of roses life is just going to be one continual facebook report of waking up in the morning with the sun shining on us as we drink our favorite coffee and guess what the lord said he turned from calling him blessed by jonah to say get thee behind me satan how in the world can you have a revelation on one side and a devil on the other it is simply this somewhere in our minds we get to thinking that god is supposed to make all the roads even and nothing uncomfortable or unexpected should come our way brothers and sisters ladies and gentlemen here today that is simply not the full revelation of jesus christ jesus said in john 16 32 behold the hour cometh first apostolic church behold the hour cometh yeah and is now that ye shall be scattered every man to his own and you shall leave me alone and yet i am not alone because the father is with me these things i have spoken unto you please pay close attention to this that in me you might have peace notice that word there peace peace is not the absence of war peace is the presence of god he said in me you might have peace in the world ye shall have tribulation but be of good cheer i have overcome the world so he says to us when we know the fullness of the godhead and we know the full revelation or we think we do the next time you get that lump under your arm or the next time that factory shuts down on you or the next time a family falls apart and begins to crumble and you find yourself so out of control don't question who he is don't question what is he doing because he has made us a promise and he has set the example for us i'm going to suffer i'm going to be mistreated things are not going to happen the things are going to happen to me that that can't be explained but don't give up on me don't run away from me because three days i am going to raise again from the dead can i can i tell you that jesus christ the full revelation of his is not knowing that he's one and in him dwells the fullness of the godhead that's partial revelation the full revelation of him is whatever happens to me in life i'm not going to leave him i'm not going to doubt him i'm not going to question him he is always with me and uh i don't think people struggle with the will of god i'm fine in the will of god i want to find the will of god you know i think you struck you know you know i think you and i struggle with accepting where god has put us accepting that god has allowed circumstances in our lives that can't be explained but don't you ever lose sight there will be a third day there will be a resurrection for i have overcome in the world you shall have tribulation be of good cheer i have overcome the world job 14 and 1 man that is born of a woman is a few days and full of trouble now can i tell you you won't find this message in bookstores you won't find this message being sought out to be put on tbn or whatever because all that can be said there is oh your destiny's going to be turned around you are going to become a successful businessman your marriage is going to be turned around your kids are going to come back you're going to move back into that gated community on and on and on blah blah blah but the difference in the health wealth and prosperity gospel is they place hope in this world and what i'm saying today places hope in the final resurrection what i'm saying today whatever dies in your life whether it is your physical body or any kind of relationship there can be a resurrection job said don't get caught off guard a man that is born of woman is a few days and full of trouble the psalmist 34 18 says it this way psalms 34 18 the lord is nigh unto them that are running the isles the lord is nigh unto them who has pockets full of money the lord is nigh unto them to get a perfect health report the lord is nigh unto them when their family looks like little house on the prairie and everything is fine the lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart and save us such as be of a contrite spirit many are the afflictions of the righteous but the lord delivereth him out of them all the full revelation is not just knowing him as god but the full revelation is knowing whatever situation in life we're going to see it through that is the full revelation they leave the upper room the warmth of the candle and the meal on the table and they leave the upper room and they head to gethsemane why go to gethsemane gethsemane is where we go brother hammond when only god can give us the answer why did he go to gethsemane because that's where you go when it's only god that can give you the answer some people need money they go to the banker some people need counseling they go to the psychiatrist some people need certain things and they go to certain places but not maybe you will have situations in your life that the banker can't answer and the counselor cannot help you there will be places you get in your life that you must go if you're ever going to get an answer you got to go to gethsemane because that's the place where only god can help us sometimes when we can lean on our own resources that's exactly what we do we lean on our own resources but do i have any brothers or sisters in the lord this morning that can say but i need god but i i i need god i i need to go to i need to go i need to go to gethsemane i need to go to gethsemane brother carpenter i'm into gethsemane and it didn't work for me oh yes it did you just didn't like the answer i just want that to soak in today oh oh oh i i tried that praying stuff but it don't work for my it don't work for me yeah that works you just didn't like what you heard in gethsemane cause you've been watching too many televangelists and i've often said and i'm gonna date myself right now televangelist tv evangelists are like tv dinners they look good they come frozen and when they thought out they still ain't no count all right because you've been trained to give 10 and expect 100 back in the mail you've been trained that if you just get out and cut a rug you know you just get out and shout a little bit lift your voice up that you ought to go home and everything's fixed you've just been told that if you just pay tithe and give offerings that factory's never gonna shut down so your gethsemane has let you down because it didn't give you the answer that you wanted so he goes to gethsemane he goes to gethsemane and in matthew 26 36 then cometh jesus with them unto a place called gethsemane and saith unto the disciples sit you here while i go and pray yonder and he took with him peter and the two sons of zebedee and began to be sorrowful and begin to be sorrowful and very heavy please get the image of this jesus he began to be sorrowful the miracle worker the one that made the lad's lunch feed a multitude the blind eye opener the one that shamed the educated minds of the pharisees crimes he began to be sorrowful very heavy you ever just went through some things to where all you could do to seem to get a little relief is just you know what that is you're heavy things happen in our lives and in the pit of our stomach can i get a witness you'd like to get a good night's sleep but you can't it's the last thought on your mind when you laid down to bed it interrupted your sleep many times during the night and it was the first time it was the first thing you thought when you woke up and you woke up and thought dear god if i could just get some rest jesus goes to the garden he goes there because only god is his answer and i think he goes there too you study the scripture he goes there too because the bible plainly says that judas betrayed him and judas was the one that led them to gethsemane because judas knew the place maybe he went there as if to say all right i'm going to go to a place that only god can give me an answer but i also know that when i get in that place i'm also going to meet satan i'm going to meet the adversary she's heavy he's sorrowful he saith unto them my soul is exceeding sorrowful even unto death tearing you here and watch with me and he went a little further and fell on his face look at this i'm talking about the sister sutton i'm talking about the water walker that greek word fail has with it it wasn't does it say he kneeled it says he failed as if he collapsed under the weight of his burden his legs became weak his legs became weak and he fell under his burden he fell on his face and prayed oh father if it be possible let this cup pass from me nevertheless not as i will but thou will be done do you see the creator you see the full revelation of jesus christ it's not that he can walk on water multiply bread create eyeballs resurrect the dead connect spinal cords to feet that's not the final look at god now he's wallering on the dirt it wasn't a nice carpet that he wallered on it wasn't a nice tile floor that he wallowed on he wallered on the dirt of gethsemane he swept to where the sweat and the dirt became mingled with tears he re he he fell on the ground and he shook i just add this i just want to add this is it possible that the last time god was that close to dirt he was making man could it be the last time that god mingled with dirt the way he did he was breathing into man and forming man and now the full revelation has him laying on his face crying and he has one prayer he has one prayer father if it's possible let this cup pass from me he is showing his humanity he's showing he's going to become sin father would you let this cup pass from me now follow this now follow this father you are handing me a cup that i don't want you are handing me none of us solicit suffering come on sister franklin none of us go out and say lord would you give me a monday full of trouble none of us go through life and say god would you give me something that that i could have a testament none of us do that we pray prayers like this at the beginning of the day god keep your hand upon our families god keep your your hand of safety and protection and spiritual safety upon our families god but what happens when the hand of god that we are in the hand of god that we trust in sister our wood the hand of god that we we know that the bible says you're in you're in my hand and no man will pluck you out the hand of god sister step that we we claim we're in the hand of god what happens when that hand of god hands us a cup that we really don't want what happens when that hand of god gives us a monday that we would god could be reversed what happens when we make we make terrible mistakes in our lives and we weep why did i go there why did i do that why did i get this and why did i do that but god hands us a cup and god says i want you to drink it but i i don't want that kind of god i want that god that i can give a i can give ten dollars on sunday and get a hundred dollars on monday i want that god that if the doctor ever says that lump is staged for cancer i want that god that heals me immediately that's the god i want but what about when that god hands you a cup that your healing is not in and your deliverance is not in what about that cup that has no answers to it would you just lift your hands right now i feel in the holy ghost somebody's being touched this morning come on right now lift your hands and your voice in the name of jesus christ come on in the name of jesus christ today in the name of jesus today is father if it's possible take this cup away but nevertheless i have the full revelation i have my will and god's will and i believe to get the full revelation of who he is we got to understand too many times we're blurring the line we're discouraged with god because it wasn't god's will it was our will and when our will didn't get answered the way that we wanted we blurred the lines the humanity of jesus was rejecting the cup but his will to trust and please the father was greater than his fleshly desire to be pat to fleshly desire let me try to say that the way his humanity said i don't want the cup but he had a desire to please the father he had a desire to please the father pleasing the father means sister step as long as you've got strength in your body i know you have cancer in your body pleasing the father is as long as you've got strength to walk into this place that you walk into this place and give god glory and honor and praise even if the healing doesn't come because it's it's my will for you to be healed it is my will for us to have a testimony it is your will nobody wants that cup it is your will that that cancer's turned around but if that cup has in it death as the children of the most high god death is not our finality it is a doorway into a life of no more sorrow no more pain no more grief no more unexpected tragedies no more division no more hate no more nights of rage it is a place where the lamb is the light come on there's not enough people believing this this morning me go let me go quickly my time is running do you want to please the father greater than you want your way luke 12 and 4. listen to our jesus listen to our savior luke 12 and 4 and i say unto you my friends be not afraid of them that kill the body and after that have no more that they can do we are fearing what can only bring physical death and that's all it can do but i will forewarn you whom you shall fear he said let me tell you who you should fear fear him which after have pat which after he had killed have power to cast into hell yea i say unto you fear him are not and and this is something he talks about death and then he brings this in are not five sparrows sold for two far things he talks about in significant burns he talks about insignificant sparrows he said are they not sold for two farthings and not one of them is forgotten before god wow that small nameless notice it only for a millisecond bird that you see on the limb small insignificant didn't matter to your day saw it for a second never see it again probably but god says let me tell you about that small sparrow he's never forgotten before me he's never forgotten before me and not one of them is forgotten before god but even the very hairs of your head are all numbered fear not therefore ye are of more value than than many sparrows he's trying to get us to understand the full revelation just because your road is bumpy doesn't mean he doesn't exist just because you didn't get the answer at the hospital or wherever that you wanted or you wasn't born and you look at others and think it's not fair look what they've got it's not fair just because you can say that doesn't mean your god is not with you and your god cannot more than compensate for you in the final resurrection he can more than compensate to you what you need oh praise our god have faith in our god don't have faith in your success don't have faith in the come things of life and the blue skies but have faith in an almighty god john 10 27 john 10 27 my sheep hear my voice and i know them and they follow me and i give unto them eternal life and they shall never perish neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand my father which gave them me is greater than all no man is able to pluck them out of my father's hand i and my father are one you know what jesus is saying i see the cup and i don't want the cup but i see the hand and i trust the hand i trust the hand of god more than i trust in the trouble that's in the cup he prays not once and i'll just give you my personal i'll give you my personal view on this scripture i do not believe that he took the disciples with him to help him pray i believe he took the disciples with him to teach them a lesson because if we never get the full revelation of who jesus is we are the most shallow christians on the face of this earth if we can only shout when an unexpected check comes in the mail and we can't shout at all times we are immature christians if we can only come to church when our family's doing well and nobody in the church has upset us we are immature christians you have got to come to church you've got to have job the lord has given and the lord has taken away but let me get back in the choir the lord has given and the lord has taken away but where's my usher's jacket the lord has given i wish somebody to the top of their voice would shout yes no i don't believe he took him there boys i need prayer i need you to help me i believe he was trying to teach him a lesson it's easy to take a hand of the multiplied bread but how about a cup of empty let me tell you something else that happened in the garden john records it in john 18 verse 1. when jesus had spoken these words he went forth with his disciples over the brook kidron where was a garden into which he entered and his disciples judas also which betrayed him knew the place for jesus often times resorted thither with his disciples judas then having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and pharisees cometh thither with lanterns torches weapons jesus therefore knowing all things that should come upon him went forth and said unto them whom seek you now watch this i want you to follow this here they come with an army to the best that i can gather in books 400 men 400 men with lanterns torches swords 400 men judas leading the pack 400 men coming jesus steps out as if to protect his disciples he steps out he knows the spirit of a mob he knows their spirit so he steps out i want you to follow this he steps out as a protective father as a protective father you see the full revelation wait a minute hold on pastor you just left him in the dirt crying and wallowing yeah yeah i did because that's a human side that's that human side but now he hears the clanging of the swords and sees the illumination of 400 soldiers with torches and lanterns he simply steps out and he asks them one question he asked him one question verse 4 jesus therefore knowing all things that should come upon him went forth and said unto them now are you saying this with me i hope i've not lost you he stands before the army of 400 men judas included he says who are you looking for who are you after who you're looking for they answered him jesus of nazareth jesus saith unto them i am he and judas also which betrayed him stood with them and as soon then as he had said i am he they went backward and fell to the ground you see that with me who are you looking for jesus i am he bible commentaries all over say this is the same god that spoke to moses out of the burning bush when he stepped out and said who are you looking for they said jesus of nazareth they were looking for the humanity but he said i am he and it was a display of his deity took the enemy and shoved them to the ground can i tell you bringing a balance to this message the full revelation it is our knowledge of the deity of jesus christ that pushes enemies and adversaries back to the ground because we know who jesus is the bible says that the devil believes in one god and he trembles every time we get ready to have church all hell begins to tremble because they know who we are there's not enough devils in hell to stop the apostolic church there's not enough enemies there's not enough wicked politicians there's not enough godless cultures to stop the jesus name apostolic church somebody said yes somebody shout yes somebody shout yes it's unstoppable it's unsinkable you can't stop the apostolic church am he come on give him praise come on give him glory come on give him glory and pray i know your church might not be growing like you wanted it to i know your kids are backslidden but god hasn't left you god is still there for you brother to cockado you want to go to ireland but god is still with you god is still with you i don't know why the doors haven't opened i don't know why you're not there right now preaching i know that's where your heart is but god gave you a cup and god's cup doesn't have the time in it but brother sit the and all pray on preach on worship on praise on god can give it to you could you would you please stay with me for a few minutes it is his revelation that shoves our enemy the church cannot be stopped from without but we sure can be hindered from within you see jesus of nazareth i am he well i bet you they changed their tune when an invisible hand shabbed into the ground can't you just see all the coins judas himself you know that's possibly brother zach hammond the first time judas ever felt the power of god you don't want the first time you have the presence of god is when you meet him in judgment him out of the ground they got back up he said now let me tell you something if it's me that you seek you leave these alone if you seek me don't you touch them don't you you thankful that life's unexpectancies can happen but hell can never get to us but if we don't watch it we're going to be like peter peter got him a sword my question is what's a fisherman doing with the sword but that's a sermon for another day peter's hand was around the sword when his hands should have been clasped in prayer peter jumps up because you know he's got to be first peter jumps up when that man stepped out and took the arms of jesus and put them behind his back and was tying the hands here goes peter man jerks to the side and peter cuts the man's ear off jesus is peter put your sword up put your sword up peter i know you can't see like me but if you can look around this garden there's probably ten thousand angels that are just waiting for me to say stop it there's ten thousand angels hanging on trees that are just waiting for me to call this off it's just peter just just put your sword up too many times we get in a try you know we we sometimes god help me to articulate this the right way sometimes the issue is not what happened to us mighty god it's how we deal with it does that make any sense at all sometimes it's not what happened to us it's how we just add trouble to troubles it's like the surgeon's saying well the surgery was successful but they died of complications things happen to us but if we don't watch it we grab us a sword and we start killing everybody around us we start cutting everybody's ear off around us and god says stop stop fighting stop fighting stop waiting for the well fargo's truck to come to your house stop waiting on things just to turn around stop that get your mind on the full revelation and take every comfort when life falls apart take every comfort the last words jesus spoke the last words he spoke and lo hello simply l-o-lo i am with you always has any of you ever stood by a dying loved one and heard their last words you might have heard many words from them throughout your life but it seems like the last word you hear you memorialize them oh mama said this daddy said this sister evans remembers that some of the last words and things her mother said to her make sure jeff makes it to heaven and applaud to her today for keeping the prayer close on close on for her brother and her brothers back in the house of god today serving god the last words lo look around i'm with you all the way even to the end of the world amen look around today you don't know how bad i got it i promise you somebody is a little worse off than you today don't put yourself as the king of the hill of trouble god is going to bring people out of the closets on judgment day that went through far more than we've ever dreamed about going through the philippines flooded some time back and i was so moved sister naming the philippines the church there had plastic chairs we would call them patio chairs that we buy at walmart or when they stack them for sale down here at the dollar store those chairs are their pews and i wasn't just moved that that's what they set on but their church was flooded the water was almost up to the seat of their chairs but there stood that congregation with hands lifted praising god a little video of the creek that had turned into a raging stream watch somebody tie a rope across it and watch those filipinos get on that rope and jump from rock to rock to get over to where they had church and i thought god forgive us americans today forgive us god a few snowflakes and we're home come on i know it's ouch a slight look from somebody on the pew and you'll miss two services it doesn't matter the preacher's got 800 hands and maybe maybe 200 guests that he wants to get to it's the fact that he walked by you and didn't shake your hand and now you're looking for another church that is true when are we going to get the full revelation when are we going to get that total revelation that he doesn't have to call me satan anymore he begins to call me saint because you know what a saying is don't you it's somebody that's went through the process of life and accepted all the hurts and the
