you would remain standing with me this morning and i want you to turn in your bibles with me to the book of daniel chapter number two daniel chapter number two and we're going to begin reading at verse number 1 daniel chapter 2 and verse number 1 have i told you lately the lord is coming the lord is coming that's a truth the lord is coming we need to keep ourselves reminded the lord is coming would you be so kind to turn into someone and just simply say to them today the lord is coming the lord is coming the lord is coming and in the second year of the reign of nebuchadnezzar nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams wherewith his spirit was troubled and his sleep break from him i want to teach preach and i don't know if i'll even get finished with this but i want to preach teach on the image the image the image father i love you this morning thank you god for all of our wonderful guests that are here today god the most important thing in our lives is that we're ready and lord i pray today that i would be a voice in the wilderness i would be a voice today reminding the church of your coming lord touch my heart today and i'll give you the praise in jesus name amen you may be seated it was a man of many years ago that said there's only two days on his calendar this day and that day that day of which he was referring to the coming of the lord this day of which he was referring to this is the day that the lord has made as i begin to read the second chapter of the book of daniel it talks about a king by the name of nebuchadnezzar a pagan king a heathen king a godless king it's interesting about these pagan godless kings is that many of their statues have survived thousands of years still yet today archaeologists discover statues that kings would erect now the reason that kings would erect these statues is because the statue represented the image of the king simply put the larger the statue the more powerful the king the more of those statues the more protecting that the king would be we know that the land of egypt is sprinkled with all kind of statues or monuments we know them today as the pyramids and these pyramids were the images that the pharaohs had erected so that they could flaunt their power and how mighty that they were some of the kings that ruled over port cities would often time carve large images as they would go into the port to tell all of those that were selling in i rule over this domain it is in light of this that we come to chapter 2 of daniel nebuchadnezzar this heathen king he dreams a dream but what's so unusual about his dream is that he cannot remember what he has dreamed he just remembers that he dreamed and he just remembers that he's so troubled that you follow the word today it said his sleep break from him he couldn't find any rest he couldn't go back to sleep and so as he would often do he called for his fortune tellers sorcerers he called for those that practiced witchcraft he called for the astrologers the chaldeans and he said i want you to tell me my dream and of course they stopped for a moment they said well king tell us what you dreamed and the king says i can't remember what i dreamed and they said back to him where there has never been a king that has made this request there has never been a king that has brought his fortune tellers sorcerers astrologers chaldeans and said to them i can't remember what i dreamed tell me what i dreamed and tell me the interpretation and they said you're asking us to do an impossibility and then the king as you would read the second chapter he called them all frauds and phonies he said the only reason you want me to tell you the dream is so that you can come up with some kind of interpretation and the king then ordered all of the astrologers all of the chaldeans all of the fortune tellers throughout the land to be summoned gathered together and to be slaughtered well as they were gathering together all these men they had to gather daniel they had to gather daniel up and when they gathered daniel up daniel asked for a meeting before the king and the king granted him the meaning the meeting and during the meeting daniel simply asked for time he said all i ask is for a little time the king gave daniel a small amount of time of which daniel spent it very wisely he got with me shadrach and abednego and he told them what had happened and the bible said they begin to pray and they begin to call on god because this is an impossible task you can't i you can't remember what you dreamed i must come up with what you dreamed in the interpretation of your dream but our god is faithful amen i said our god is faithful our god still answers prayer i'm telling you when it's a life and death situation call on his name daniel shadrach meshach and abednego began to call on the name of the lord and then god answered daniel and here the answer comes in verse 31 of the same chapter daniel stands before the king and he says thou o king saw us and behold a great image this great image whose brightness was excellent stood before thee the form thereof was terrible or the word for that would be awesome he said it was an awesome image as a matter of fact if you would go ahead and put the image of what the king saw on the screen this image's head was a fine gold his breast and his arms of silver his belly and his thighs of breasts his legs of iron his feet part his his legs of iron his feet part of iron and part of clay thou saw us till a stone was cut out without hands which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay and break them in pieces then was the iron the clay the brass the silver the gold broke into pieces together and became like chaff of the summer threshing floors and the wind carried them away that no place was found for them and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth this is the dream and we will tell the interpretation thereof thou o king or a king of kings for the god of heaven hath given thee a kingdom power strength and glory wheresoever the children of men dwell the beast of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand and he it may be ruler over them thou art this head of gold and after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee another third kingdom of brass which shall bear rule over all the earth and he simply goes down from the head to the toe and you will notice that as you move from kingdom to kingdom or could i say as you move through history as you move through history to where we're at today we find that the material becomes inferior weakening with time it begins as gold it then turns to silver it then turns to brass and iron and then the feet would be a mixture of iron and clay that's where we're at today in the world governments and the kingdoms of this world we are at a time when there are two materials that are much like gasoline oil and water this world is calling for unity but you cannot mix clay and iron together the weakest that the nations have ever been we are now currently living in we need not be deceived and look back on years ago and think because we have more modern technology and more education that we're farther advanced than they were back in the day of gold and silver and brass but we are weaker today as a world people than we have ever been in our lives things are trying to mix together but this iron and clay will not mix but in the dream nebuchadnezzar saw that there was a stone cut out of the mountain made without hands now any time the bible begins to tell you something was made without hands that is another way of saying god did it god did it nebuchadnezzar saw this great mighty image standing there gold brass silver iron and then the feet were a mixture of both iron and clay and then he witnessed that a stone cut out of the mountain of which hands had not made he noticed this stone came down and this stone hit the image not in its head not in its shoulders not in its thighs because all of that represents past history but the stone hit current day history it hit current day events where we're at today it hit the kingdoms of iron and it hit the kingdoms of clay a mixture together you're hearing the conversations more and more in the world today of a one world government you're hearing more than ever before global interest all of these things are nothing more than actors that have been tucked away in the pages of our bible and as time goes god brings these actors and not only the actors but god brings the climate the climate that is here there are people today that are laying down lines of distinction there are people that are gathering together modern day mainstream religions that are beginning to entertain the thoughts that jesus christ may not be the only way that there may be one more than one way to god they're laying down their differences and all of this is playing in to this iron and clay mixture that's trying to come together but i want you to hear your pastor today there will be no peace without the worship of the prince of peace there will be no peace until we worship the only one that can have a peace treaty and that is the prince of peace and i'm glad to know that his name is jesus this morning and i worship the name of jesus today now brother nolan please notice with me that the stone that was cut out of the mountain made without hands which was god's doings smote him upon the feet and when the feet crumbled all the statue crumbled from the thighs to the chest to the head and they break in pieces then the bible says that the wind came the tribulation came and like chaff it blew all of these kingdoms away but wait a minute the stone that smote upon the feet the bible said grew into a mighty mighty nation i want you to know that god all through scripture has always been identified as a stone in genesis chapter 49 verse number 24 his bow abode in strength and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of of the mighty god of jacob watch this from fence is the shepherd the stone of israel ii samuel 2 22 and verse 3 the god of my rock in him will i trust psalms chapter 95 and verse number 1 oh come let us sing unto the lord let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation you see brothers and sisters today we have just witnessed a timeline of prophecy of the coming of the coming of the lord now we understand something that nebuchadnezzar nebuchadnezzar is off base from the beginning to the end of his life because at the end of chapter 2 when he is satisfied that daniel has told him the truth daniel 2 and 46 then the king nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face and worshiped daniel and commanded that they should offer an oblation and sweet odors unto him so we end chapter 2 with nebuchadnezzar worship in daniel when nebuchadnezzar should have worshipped the rock that smote the image but nebuchadnezzar did not learn his lesson it is in chapter 3 that nebuchadnezzar is it any strange thing he erects a monument a statue of gold 95 feet tall and six feet wide not only that not only that it did become his religion because religion has music attached to it and not only does music not only does a religion have music attached to it but religion has a command attached to it and not only does it have a music and a command but it has a command for all people all people we see how counterfeit that this is and how antichrist that this is this is an old testament type and shadow of the antichrist there's never been a more image driven culture than what we're living in right now people buy cars not to get from point a from point b people buy cars today for image people wear clothes people buy clothes today has nothing to do and has nothing to do with keeping warm from the elements but it has something to do with whatever little image is right here whatever little whatever little brand is here we are living in an image driven culture there's never been a culture so image driven as it is today not only that we are living in one of the most intolerable cultures that has ever been it's intolerable they can tolerate everything but you disagreeing with them they can tolerate everything they can tolerate that they can tolerate you don't play their style of music but they can't tolerate you don't agree with their lifestyle there's been many people in this world that have found themselves bankrupt because they made a statement of what they truly believed in why because the culture the godless culture is demanding that everybody conformed to the image nebuchadnezzar steps out creates a builds a statue an image 90 feet tall six feet wide and then he begins to say i want music i want music you can read it right there in the third chapter i want music i want music to play and when the music plays as a matter of fact you can just this is so full of typology every political leader in his kingdom was called to the image sheriffs senators you just go down the long list from and it doesn't say county mayor and president but it that's what it meant from the president of the land all the way down to the local county sheriff and mayor everybody had to come around the image but not only that when the music played everybody had to bow to the image and if you would not bow you would burn is this not the culture you and i are living in right now is not our brother sister briggs is not our grandchildren being raised in a culture that if they speak up for what they believe in they may be fired from their jobs if they speak up for what they believe in they may be asked to move from their gated communities and their neighborhoods no wonder jesus said at the end of time a father would be against a son and a daughter against her mother because sometimes no not sometimes that antichrist spirit won't stop it just those in government it'll try to evade its way into your own home to where a child may say to you don't you mention that around your grandchild don't you talk about the word of god around your grandchild i'm just here to tell you some of you can think that's so far-fetched but persecution is coming in a lot of different ways if you do not bow you are going to burn i believe if jesus doesn't come i believe that jesus doesn't come churches in america have enjoyed a benefit from the government called uh we're we are we are non-profit of course i've often said a lot of churches have been non-profit but that's beside the point you have tax exemption if you purchase something for the church there's no sales tax it's called tax exemption but i do believe that we will live to see the day that we must sign a document agreeing that we will not say things that that are that are not contentious but controversial that we will not say anything about certain lifestyles i'll go ahead save your stamp and your letter keep your taxes we'll pay the tax but we'll never sign we'll never sign a paper no sign that paper i will not bow to this culture we've got to have a first apostolic church that's a daniel a shadrach and a meshack and a bendigo ah yes the world has no problem with your heaven jumping like this in a ball game but you're not supposed to do that at the church house let the world have its image you may be seated you might say that's big talk preacher well i've already been there several years ago when my wife and i went to texas to be trained for our christian school ace school it's what we first started with i thought the breaks went on well the breaks did go on because we had to sign a contract with them but in the contract that we had to sign with them it read that we had to believe in the divine trinity i said i can't sign that contract no no no i won't sign that contract and the man came in the room and he sat down and he said well this and this and this and i said well the bible says this and this and this well you all come all the way down here for y'all drove all the way down here from maryville 700 something miles we can drive all the way back but i'm not gonna sign that piece of paper right there stating that's what we believe now you know i didn't say it quite that but i did say quite that in a diplomatic way and they in a diplomatic way scratched off on it and said we didn't have to sign that that's because it's the truth because it's the truth it's not one of the truths it is the truth it is the only truth the bible teaches you can't find that teaching in the lids of the bible that's why we don't preach it you can't find in the lids of the bible well everybody believes that everybody may bow too but we're not everybody we're not everybody you either gotta conform everybody's conforming don't you see all the officials conforming don't you see everybody conforming we will not conform we will not conform oh you won't conform well maybe you didn't hear me right if you don't conform we're going to take your tax exempt away from you that's okay if you don't conform we're going to we're we're going to uh just like in in in south america chile our good our good friends there's only one state recognized church in chile that's the catholic church there's only one recognized church in south america and that's the catholic church all other churches fall under a club like the lions club you fall under a club you're not really recognized as a church because they've already recognized the church and we may fall under some of that there may be some kind of ecumenical statement that says all religions born and it's been happening for years it's been happening all kinds of denominations have been meeting together blurring their lines so that they can be one but we are like our older brother abraham we'll never bow because god's always had an israel and god will always have a church god will always have a peculiar israel those peculiar jewish people that circumcise their children those peculiar people that have feast days of passovers and they have feast days of recognizing the harvest has come in and all of these different things well today god's got a church and this church is peculiar we don't look like act like dress like worship like anything like the world does we are a peculiar people and if you can't stand the heat get out of the church but if you're going to be in the church there's going to be some there's going to be some persecution but can i tell you the persecution will be worth it because the stones coming out of the mountain the stones coming out of the mountain and he's going to crush thank you jesus go to the last chapter in the book of daniel the last chapter in the book of daniel the first verse at that time shall michael stand up the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people and there shall be a time of trouble such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time and at that time thy people shall be delivered every one that shall be found written in the book and many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake someday everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting contempt now let me tell you something this is not talking about the church because it talks about a great time of trouble such as never have been since there's been a nation it's called the tribulation the church has already been raptured and we are at the marriage supper of the lamb but down on earth there is a tribulation that has taken place he talks about a resurrection in verse 3 and they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever but thou o daniel shut up the words and seal the book until the time of the end many shall run to and fro and knowledge shall be increased think about that the time of the end knowledge shall be increased you think about just roll the clock back 100 years and where we were at technology in 100 years roll it back another 100 years in another 100 years and things don't change very much but the last 100 years or so we went from horse and buggy to landing a man on the moon and knowledge has increased then i daniel looked and behold there stood other two the one on the one side of the bank of the river and the other on the other side of the bank of the river and it goes all the way it goes all the way down and it tells about that this is just the end and to seal up to seal up the end it is sealed up daniel prophesied something that he said you've got to seal it up to the end have we not witnessed are we not witnessing today the same spirit of nebuchadnezzar erecting an image that all must worship and all must fall to the tune and if you don't we will burn your reputation we will we we will stand against you and disrupt your life i do believe that even i told you about the tax exempt i'd like just to tell you things so when they come to pass you're going to drive in here and say he said it i may be i may be old gray-headed maybe not even here but i do believe that you'll come to church one morning and there will be people out here protesting against what we stand for you'll have to drive through those with signs hollering at you then you'll see do you really believe this or not then you'll you'll see you your your mind will either begin to to to to to tell you where you need to go somewhere where the preachers learn how to spin his words the preachers learn how to use a vernacular and he's you he he's he's found him some loopholes and he he's not real offensive but i i i hope that you'll drive through every protester that's got a sign up there that that says we believe in abortion we believe in in in same-sex marriage and we believe in all all of this stuff and if we don't watch it we don't watch it we're going to get uncomfortable even in the church oh you know what about a poor young girl that that's had an abortion of she's sitting here today oh how does she feel you know what she already feels bad enough before she got here she knows what the preacher is saying is right what she needs to do is to be in a house of god that preaches the salvation message she needs to be told that honey you can come and be baptized in jesus name and god will help erase the guilt and the shame of the sin that you committed come on church we can't get quiet we cannot get quite we have got to let do you believe this do you believe what the bible teaches i want my son i want well he already has but i wanted my son to grow up and marry a woman i wanted my daughters to grow up and marry a man i got five beautiful grandchildren i want all of them to be attracted to the opposite sex i want them to marry the opposite sex i want them to have children but most of all i want them to live for god and serve god i want to have a christian school where right is right and wrong is wrong and the bible is right and the bible is our compass but there's an image over here i'll be willing to bow but wait a minute you may be seated wait a minute bro carpenter all things work together for the good to them that love god and who are the called according to his purpose wait a minute brother carpenter god can so allow that the devil's image can work out to the advancement of his kingdom how's that shadrach meshach and abednego would not bow and because they would not bow they were thrown into the fiery furnace but they were threatened given another chance called into the office told if you'll go back out there on the assembly line and apologize for what you said you can still work here but god give us a shadrach meshach and abednego that'll say i don't know where my next job is coming from but i do know god is faithful i don't know hallelujah i don't know if god will save us out of that furnace but i do know that he'll save us out of your hand and we want to tell you the last thing before we thrown into the furnace we will not bow to that image it was listen it wasn't cut listen compromisers don't get testimonies compromisers don't see the miraculous if you're a compromiser you're never going to see the miraculous if you're a compromiser you're never going to see the miracles come but if you'll be somebody that'll stand up and say i don't know if i don't know what tomorrow holds or not i don't know if god's going to keep us safe in the furnace or not but be it known unto you we will not bow to this image right here i'd rather burn up in that furnace than to burn up bow into the sensual passions of this world and they threw old shadrach meshach and abednego in the furnace they threw them in the furnace but that way now you may be seated and not only throw them in the furnace but they heated the furnace some seven times hotter than ever been heated and they said we're going to get rid of everything listen they went down got all their clothes out of the closet they got all their luggage they said now when we get rid of these three birds we're going to get rid of everything they've got we're going to get rid of the 10 commandments in the courthouses and we're going to get rid of any kind of manger scenes and we're going to get rid of anything and they heated that furnace up and there was a man that had to take them walk the plank and as that man was walking the plank had a had a stick kind of nudging him up the board the bible said the flames came out and burned him up and one two three shadrach meshach and abednego fell into the furnace oh king set back now now now i'm not in the bible now but there's some history of why the king looked into the furnace now the bible does say he looked into the furnace but why did he look in the furnace i mean why do you look into something that should have annihilated them because there's an old tradition that says as the king was getting ready to leave that he began to hear singing and it wasn't the kind of tune that made you worship the image aren't you glad that our tune doesn't sound like their tune and i'm glad that we can i'm i'm glad that we can sing joy joy joy joy joy joy and not misery misery misery beer dogs dead wife gone down on my luck busted broke and disgusted i'm glad we got a song says joy joy joy joy joy joy he came that i might have life more abundantly more abundantly oh the tradition says that the king began to hear music and he began to hear singing and he walked up the plank to where that furnace was and he looked down into the fiery furnace and he said wait a minute sheriff wait a minute mayor wait a minute senate wait a minute congress did we not cast three men bound into that furnace and they all in unison said true o king he said then how is it that i see four walking around and said the fourth one is like the son of god can i tell you this world and never see god unless there's an apostolic jesus name holiness church that stands up in the midst of the culture and begins to tell a world about him come on there's a lost office somewhere that needs an apostolic woman to walk through it come on somewhere down at denzel there's an apostolic man that needs to walk through the line and let this world know i wish somebody just gave him some praise this morning hallelujah come on let's praise jesus for a moment jesus is the rock jesus is that rock matthew 16 16 simon peter answered and said thou art the christ the son of the living god jesus answered and said unto him blessed art thou simon bar jonah for flesh and blood have not revealed it unto thee but my father which is in heaven i say also unto thee that thou art peter and upon this somebody say it now upon this come on upon this what upon this rock i will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it don't you pity the church the church is in good hands because he said upon this rock i will build my church what rock you talking about i'm talking about that rock that came out of the mountain made without hands and destroyed all the kingdoms of this world first corinthians chapter 10 verse number four the church did also drink the same spiritual drink they drank that same spiritual rock that followed them and that rock was christ can i tell you about my rock jesus today can i tell you about my rock the christ today it's an unusual rock it's an unusual rock in first peter chapter 2 verse number 6 it says wherefore also it is contained in the scripture behold i lay in zion a cheap corner stone rock elect precious he that believeth on him that rock shall not be confounded unto you therefore which believe he is precious valuable but unto them which be disobedient the stone which the builders disallowed the same is made the head of the corner a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense even to them which stumble at the word being disobedient where unto also they were appointed watch two things here he's either a rock that'll make you trip up or he's a rock that will offend you do you know most books used to read most history books used to read bc before christ and a.d which was latin for in the year of our lord but you will notice that many of the books are changing it is still bc but then it is it is c e what does c e stand for the common error it's just a common time now why make such a change they made the change because it offended them of a.d it offended them that it was the year of our lord so this rock today you just understand this this rock today is either precious or it's a rock of a fence it's something you trip over but listen to luke in chapter 20 and verse number 17 of luke luke 20 and 17 and he beheld and said what is this then that is written the stone which the builders rejected the same is become the head of the corner this is verse 18 what i want us to see whosoever shall fall upon the stone shall be broken but on whomsoever it shall fall it will grind him to powder you better fall on the rock you better break your pride and you're you're you're wanting to conform and not stick out in a crowd you better break that spirit that tells you the church is a small group i don't believe i'm going with the church you better fall on that rock and break that anti-christ mentality if you don't fall on that rock and let it break break your break your pride that rock will fall on you one day and when that rock falls on you it will grind you to powder fall on that rock this morning fall on that rock and musicians would come for a moment would you come now please nebuchadnezzar erected an image he erected an image the rock came out of the mountain made without hands and destroyed all the nations of the earth and set up a kingdom that grew into a mighty mountain i want you to listen to this just for a moment going to go very fast through a lot of things that should take some time all the kingdoms of the world yes that includes ours will one day be convinced after three and a half years of unexplainable weather patterns unexplainable pestilence they will somehow be convinced that if they could annihilate this little nation in the middle east called the jews that they would break whatever spell is upon the sun and upon the elements but they've got to come and they've got to they've got to annihilate you all agree with this i know why is there so much hatred today toward the jews the jewish nation hatred that can be found in a lot of ways a lot of things well that hatred is going to escalate one day and all nations are going to be gathered in a valley called armageddo and there israel has many miracles modern day miracles there's wars that israel won to get their status as a nation that still are held as modern-day miracles that they were able but on this day all hope would be gone but just before that confederations of all nations gets ready to pull the first trigger there'll be a sound from the eastern sky any rock that's cut out of a mountain makes a sound there's a rock cut out of a mountain and when they look up they're going to see the one that they pierced and they're going to see jude said the lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints that's the church riding on a white horse with a vesture dipped in blood zachariah said it on that day said he had an iron sword coming out of his mouth and said while they stood there on their feet their flesh consumed upon them their tongues cleaved to the the rules of their mouths and their eyeballs ran down their faces i just described to you what it looks like to be in the wake of an atomic explosion it'll take six months he'll call the fowl of the air to come and eat the flesh of captains in the flesh of mighty men it'll take six months they won't be able to bury them all that seems so far-fetched to us not be able to bury them all but we've had something called covet hit major cities and they had to stack the dead up in freezer trucks around the hospital you call for the fowl of the air the bible said that the blood will flow from the horse's bridle for about 240 miles but then they shall look upon him whom they have pierced he'll set up a kingdom in jerusalem called the millennial kingdom all nations of the earth will flow for that knowledge image image you see image started a long time before nebuchadnezzar made an image and image started a long time before pharaoh made the images of of of of the pyramids an image of the creator is his oldest creation itself for when god made the earth he only made one thing in his image he only made one thing in his image you hear me there was only one thing that he wanted as a pyramid there was only one thing that he wanted as a statue us but sin came and vandalized the image sin came and so vandalized man so marked man up sin came and just vandalized like like vandals go spray spray paint and tear windows out of a building sin came and vandalized the image man could never get back to that original image regardless of how hard man tried he couldn't get back the scars were too deep the paint was too heavy the mired was too much man could never reach god but god had an ultimate plan if man cannot come to me i can go to man if man cannot become what i made him in the beginning then i will put on flesh and blood i'll go be born among them i'll put a body on just like they have i'll go to a cross called calvary i'll shed my blood i'll show my love and then i'll allow them a plan of salvation i'll allow them a way to get the scars of sin off of them i allow them a way to get the pain off of them and the deformation off of them i'll give them one message then peter said unto them repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of jesus christ for the remission of your sin and you shall receive the holy ghost will you stand with me right now how about brother carpenter i've been called trash all my life the world you ever noticed if you don't sing the same same tune of the world they'll cut you with words they'll call you every kind of foul thing you could ever be called but i want you to look up here at this five foot seven inch green eyed preacher for just a few more moments i want you to look up here it matters not what you call yourself and it matters not what others call you i don't care the label you're wearing today x-con x this or x that it matters not what they call you but the only thing that matters he said i came that you may be conformed to my image i came to give you a way to be conformed to my image his word says you are forgiven his word says you are free his word says you are a new creature his word says all things are new his word says come on sing me a little bit of that this morning go ahead and sing a i am who i me who am am i am who i am who i am oh i want you to listen to me for a moment there's something about an anthem there's something about an anthem there's something about the other night at that ballgame when they said we're going to sing
