hallelujah well it's feeling like precoded 19 to me and I don't really believe I knew what I was asking and I specifically asked for the Erickson I said sing something before I preach to set the mood I think I hear some rattling going on I think I hear some rattling going up Oh oh my well if you would make your way back to you and be seated for just a minute I have a couple of announcements to make Wow praise God thank you Jesus for meeting us here on this Wednesday night thank you Lord for meeting us here tonight thank you thank you lord thank you for meeting us lord thank you for meeting us here tonight yes yes yes yes Lord yes Lord thank you for meeting us here tonight thank God well praise the Lord everybody so good to see us to see you in the house of the Lord this evening and especially especially good to have the presence of God with us not specially especially men I'd like to make a few announcements and we are trying our very best as a church to obviously you've heard my message about we are obedient to our state local state and federal officials and we we are as o BD --nt as they are clear to give us directions all right and they they give us directions and we're doing our best as a matter of fact I think the team that's meeting people at the doors is doing an excellent job I do if if you have a weak immune system you come through the prayer room door and well that's a good door to come through if you're sick is and it come through the prayer room door and you sit over here and then you can exit you can exit out out that way and six feet and I watch them tonight when they shout it everybody was compliant tonight then when they shouted I kind of looked around and folks was keeping distance between them and and even brother Ben Lee I think he weaved through this crowd at 6 feet apart he was doing good and in that we we are compliant interpreting what they have given sometimes we find inconsistencies and when we find inconsistencies we find inconsistencies then we examine the inconsistency we're not rebels God's people are not rebels but you find inconsistencies and you you have to work on plans to correct the inconsistency such as during all since the quarantine started we have been asked to please please from the governor please keep your daycare open would you please keep your daycare open for first responders for people that are on the front lines and thank God we kept our daycare open throughout all of the the last several weeks once you give a hand to some tremendous day care workers tonight the school has been functioning what about our Christian school what about it haven't they been functioning and and giving out giving out assignments and and all of that and and it's just been our Christian school teachers have have had went over the top in creative ideas online online lessons and and and our school teachers would you give our school teachers a hand that over it's over the top over the top and when we started a few weeks ago we started without a nursery we started without a nursery and it's kind of inconsistent that they asked us to please keep your daycare open but then they frown on a nursery at church of course there's probably none of you women interested in that starting a nursery bag right well I'd say this one preacher would be thankful hey amen so come Sunday morning come Sunday morning we're going to be as compliant with a nursery class as we are with the daycare and there'll be one stipulation there may be more stipulations than this with the nursery but there will be one stipulation it's the same stipulation of our daycare right now their temperature will be taken at the door as a matter of fact no one even enters this building during daycare hours without their temperature being taken and so all children if they go into nursery will have their temperature taken and if they they have a temperature obviously they will not be admitted to to the nursery but I just think some of your moms out there would really like to be able to put a child in the nursery and then come back out here and worship the Lord am i right tonight maybe I'm not right tonight maybe we go back to the old day when the preacher stops and says hey would you mind to take that child out you know you might be happy but please avail yourself of the nursery so we can hear the Word of God so we can hear the word word of God I received a call today from someone and they said they actually sent me a text to be to be correct on but they sent me a text and they said pastor and I just kind of felt like announcing this they said pastor there's a job opportunity for someone that has a bachelor's or a master's degree in information technology there's a tremendous job opportunity here in town for someone that has a bachelor's or a master's degree in information technology and if you have if you have one of these degrees and you're interested you'd see me tonight after the service I will I will make that connection I will make that connection with you we're so glad to have the Sanders family with us tonight and they're becoming familiar faces around here at first Apostolic Church for come June the fifth the Sanders and the Carpenters are going to merge and Nolan and Flannery is getting married and there's wedding plans going day and night please pray from me days and three nights in the whales belly so shall the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth the men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation and shall condemn it because they repented at the preaching of Jonah and behold a greater than Jonah is here the Queen of the South shall rise up in in the judgment with this generation and shall condemn it for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon and behold a greater than Solomon is here when the unclean spirit is gone out of a man he walketh through Dry places seeking rest and findeth none then he saith I will return into my house from whence I came out and when he has come he findeth it empty swept and garnished then go of he and taketh with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself and they enter in and dwell there and the last state of the man is worse than the first even so shall it be also until the unto this wicked generation for just a few moments tonight I want to I want to entertain for you to entertain this thought the price of the privileged the price of the privilege we are a privileged people we are a privileged people the price of the privilege father these are your sheep and god you have called me to be their pastor i ask you tonight father that you would touch my lips let tons of fresh fire set up on my head that I may be able to feed this congregation tonight that I may be able to cast the bread and watch them come and watch them eat and watch them grow and watch them maturing you watch them overcome bondage is in their life and watch them become free through your word Lord for the next few moments wrap your arms around us help us to receive your word in Jesus name we pray amen you may be seated the price of the privileged the price of the privileged we are a people that's blessed with benefits we are a people that is we are extremely blessed with God's presence I received a call from a concerned family member and I'm talking the family of God and he was saying do you know of a church in a certain area that's alive that's alive and he said as a Apostolic Church there that's apostolic in doctrine but they're not apostolic in worship and said my family is dying because there's no worship there's no praise aren't you thankful on a Wednesday night what some people brother Perry would call a camp-meeting service we get to come on a Wednesday night and we get to enjoy in this we're blessed people we're blessed people sister carpenter and I some time ago we're holding her before night revival at a church Friday night rolled around we started on Tuesday night and Friday night rolled around and there was nothing happened to all week long no praise no worship no prayer before service preaching was more just to just to preach you know you give an altar call and nobody would come and I would turn around and Pastor would come and go through this little ritual of a well it's been a good service shake hands me friendly you may be dismissed well the last night we were we were excited about it being the last night I'm sorry to admit that but I was excited about it being the last night but on the last night one man one man came to the altar and prayed about five minutes he got up and walked away we went in the office with the pastor after service and he said you can't leave you can't leave he said can you can you just stay he said we haven't had a move of God like this in some time we are a blessed people we are a blessed people we are a privileged we're are privileged people but there's a price that comes along with being privileged there's a there's a price that would come along and in the keeping in the vein of this spirit world jesus said that there were scribes and Pharisees that came to him and they asked that they would see a sign at which the aside now what's amazing about it just a few verses before that they had seen a sign and they had said you did this through the power of Beelzebub so this Pharisee and described was not wanting a sign that they may believe they were not they were not wanting a sign that they might believe as a matter of fact I don't believe I sent you this scripture but if you could give me John chapter 21 and verse number 25 about how many miracles how many miracles Jesus performed how many miracles he performed and John 25 twisties me 21 verse 25 would you look at this verse with me for just a minute this is all the things Jesus did and there are also many other things which Jesus did the which if they should be written every one I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books think about that for a moment here this man described this Pharisee is asking for a sign and Jesus has been doing so many miracles sign miracles that the writer would say if we had tried to record all the things he did I don't believe the world would be a big enough bookshelf for what he did but he answered them he answered them he said an evil and an adulterous generation now let's look at these two words evil is opposite of good evil is opposite of God is a matter of fact if you spell evil backwards it spells out live because evil is the opposite of life it's a matter of it's a matter of fact if you spelled devil backwards you get lived I'm just little warped alright that's because at one time when he was right with God he lived but an evil and adulterous generation what is adulterous that's mixing with things that's mixing with something that you have no business mixing with you're mixing with something that's not yours and he said this is a generation that is evil and it's adulterous and he said there's not going to be but one sign given to this generation the world gets only one sign that's all the world as ever anybody that says I believe in God if you'll do a miracle for me we'll never believe in God they might for a season but God says if you got to have a sign I'm only going to give you one sign and it's going to be the sign of the prophet Jonah for as Jonah was three days and three nights in the whales belly so shall the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the earth what's he talking about he's talking about the only saving message that we should believe that God came to this earth in the form of a man suffered bled and died was buried rose again and ascended into heaven and press God he is our soon and coming king that's all you get that's all you get but listen to me now verse 41 the men of Nineveh shall rise up in judgment with this general and shall condemn it because they repented at the preaching of Jonah and behold a greater than Jonah is here you see the greater the privilege the higher the responsibility he looked around at them and he said on Judgment Day I am going to allow the Ninevites to come when you're being judged I'm going to allow the Ninevites to enter the courtroom and they are going to condemn you of how less they had then they had less but they did more they had less but they did more you see tonight we must understand we have been given more not to do less but we have been given more so that we can do more because we are the generation upon whom the ends of the world is done I do believe tonight with all my heart that we will see the rapture of the church I don't believe that we're going to die I believe that we're going to see the rapture of the Church of Jesus Christ he said I'm gonna bring the mental bites in the courtroom because they had less than what you got and they've done more than what you've done think about it do the comparison Jonah went to Nineveh for forty days let's list it Jonah went to Nineveh for forty days did no miracles and when you read The Book of Jonah you find out he really didn't want to be there he got mad upset when the city got to repenting Jonah and got upset with God because God had forgiven them now let's look at it again forty days no miracles and really didn't want to be there Jesus came not for forty days Jesus came for three years and a half Jesus did so many miracles that he said the world couldn't even hold all the books and not only that he plainly revealed to us he wanted to be on this earth for God so loved the world that He gave but here they would repent for a man's preaching that was 40 days no miracles and didn't even want to be there they repented but here was a generation that had him for three and a half years so many miracles the world couldn't hold all the books and was passionate about what he was going to do to save the world and they would not repent I don't know about you but that causes me tonight to begin to understand the heavy weight of responsibility that is upon the privileged people tonight we are a privileged people tonight I wonder this evening I wonder this evening if there's not those that have went through more than what we went through yet they're doing more for God I wonder if there's not a young lady that has more trouble in her home than what you have but she's doing more than what you're doing I submit to you tonight that we are a privileged people but we've got to understand the heavy weight of the load that is upon us as being a privileged jonah forty days jesus three and a half years Jonah no miracles Jesus so many of the worlds couldn't hold Jonah really didn't want to be there and the only time the word passion is mentioned in the King James Bible in the New Testament there's only one time that passion is mentioned and it describes in the book of Acts that Jesus after his passion because what they called a cross he called a passionate desire to do the will of God what they called curse he called a passionate desire to do God's will then he drops down and he says the Queen of the South I'm not only going to resurrect the Ninevites but in verse 42 I'm going to resurrect and bring into the courtroom the Queen of the South we know her as the Queen of Sheba the queen of the Queen of the South shall rise up in in in the judgment with this generation and shall condemn it for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon and behold a greater than Solomon is here he said I'm going to resurrect the Queen of the South for she traveled hundreds of miles hundreds of miles because she wanted to hear the wisdom of Solomon and then he says and behold a Solomon is here and this Solomon is greater the Solomon that she came to see she had to travel a great distance to get to him but the greater Solomon has traveled a great distance to come to us so we have our terminology all wrong we get up and say oh I think the Lord I found the Lord you didn't find the Lord he found you oh I'm so glad that that I found the Lord no no no no no no no you didn't find him he found you some mama some daddy got on their knees and started praying and the Holy Ghost came to your workshop well the Holy Ghost came to wherever you were at dear and the Holy Ghost begin to trouble you and nothing began to make sense in your life you had no contentment in your life you couldn't find those satisfaction in your life you just felt miserable you couldn't sleep but and in your life got troubled and you didn't really know why you were troubled and then you came on to church and and and you heard the gospel and now you're in the church but it wasn't that you found the Lord you wouldn't even looking for the Lord among us prayer sent the Lord after you daddy's prayer sent the Lord after you I pray in church that prays that prayer god help us win the loss and God answered that prayer and got ahold of you you didn't travel to where he was at he traveled to where you were at the crater oh we could just compare the two Solomon's that we want to the one Solomon wisdom he started out good if you'd like to write these down first Kings chapter 3 verse number 5 first Kings chapter 10 1 through 13 Solomon started out good he started out real good he was humble he was seeking after God he started out well but he didn't end well he didn't end well because the Bible says that when prosperity came to him because of what God had given he began to lean more toward the political minds of the day he married seven kings daughters of heathen nations seven of them some one said it was a genius move politically seven kingdoms heathen kingdoms around him somebody said man what a what a genius ideally had one way you could keep peace they'll never attack Jerusalem why would a king attack a city where his daughter lives well that may make good sense in a political book in a university but it says lousy is lousy can be when it comes to living for God because we don't lean on our government for our help we look into the hills from which come up our help oh I feel the Holy Ghost tonight and when the Lord's word says don't go in among the heathen women don't take the heathen women to yourself don't take the Healing women for your wife then we don't have to read the political book and think man what a great move I'd make if I married all seven of these heathen nations around me they would never attack me and he bought into that he lost his faith in God and he bought in he bought into the arm of man and he began to marry these seven women with these seven women came to Jerusalem they don't understand blood sacrifice that understand worship into end err they understand idol worship they've got to have an idol before them to worship so these seven women come to Jerusalem they are discontented with the worship and evidently they had won their way into Solomon's heart because it said he loved many strange women and so when his little when his a little strange wife got discontented because she wasn't worshiping her false god guess what Solomon did over here on one Hill he builds her a temple to her false God over there on that hill he built seven temples to these false gods say you no harm Israel's not going to go there oh don't don't no don't say that because curiosity has always been something that has led people to strut astray so all of a sudden people started going over to this temple because it don't cost me blood animal sacrifice over here as a matter of fact I can go up here and they don't even wear any clothes in this temple it's a free love society over here we just man loves man women loves women men it's a it's a free love society huh I hear a lot better message up here about God loves everybody everybody's God's love and everybody somebody else and everybody can can mate with each other's wives and men with men and all that until Israel when a whoring after that I'm gonna tell you Solomon started off right but he ended lousy but when you compare him to the greater Solomon the greater Solomon started out good as a matter of fact it's testified of him he's the Alpha and the Omega the beginning he's the author and the finisher of our faith o friend a greater than supplement has come now in that same discourse that he's having of saying look at the tremendous privilege you have think of how much more we had tonight think of how much more we have tonight number one once one of our privileges that we know the truth what's one of our many privileges we know the truth of who God is what's one of our many privileges we know the name that is above every name what's what's many of our privileges we know we know that there is a way of living that is a protective way of living we have we have a proven testimonies of people that have that they have obeyed God's Word and we have watched their lives and we have witnessed white headed saints of God on their deathbed some of them their last words they spoke wasn't other tongues speaking unto God in other tongues what a way to live what a way to die listen to me tonight what a way to live the what a way to die because a greater Solomon is tongue and we have more spiritual privileges tonight than they had when Jesus was speaking think about an Apostolic Church of the 21st century we look at the many opportunities that we have around us should we be praying less I say no should we be worshiping less I say no should we be lowering our standards of living in this day should it be said of the generation before us that this generation is doing less I say no a thousand times no for the greater the privilege verse 43 and it's the same discourse here he goes brother Nolan from talking about the greater the privilege and then he says when the unclean spirit is gone out of a man now let me stop here let me stop here and tell you that I do believe that Jesus is describing I do believe that he is describing what happens when a man who is demon-possessed has that demon cast out of him but I also believe that he is describing our evil nature that we have before we came to God an evil nature now come on let's just get real you wouldn't born talking in tongues if I ask since you were born I'm in this room have told a lie every one of us would have to stand up and the ones that didn't are alive oh come on right I had an evil I had an evil nature you did too we had evil nature we lusted we lied well it did you good to admit it we did by seven years old when I come to the Lord we're good you lied before you seven you probably lied a little bit after you're 17 but we kept coming around the Word of God we kept getting in the altar God please forgive me I'm gonna tell you if you make it to heaven you're gonna make it to heaven because you prayed a lot of prayers God please forgive me I'm not advocating I'm not advocating we don't come out of that and grow out of that if you're still battling with the things that you had 10 years ago you're not letting God help you like y'all let God help you but we we kept on praying we kept on praying I got in church I got the Holy Ghost I did I got the Holy Ghost I got baptized but nicotine had ahold of me well if you got the Holy Ghost like I've got the Holy Ghost when I got older cuz he just took the desire away well I'm glad that happened to you it didn't happen to me because I didn't want them for probably that night the BLA chair next day oh come on how about you should get your purse let's go get something to eat I'm not back down you know I got victory over smoking a lot of Prayer a lot of Prayer until I come up with a genius idea I believe God gave it to me I timed how long it took to smoke a cigarette took me five minutes and then I just started every time I got a desire to smoke I started praying and God delivered me God delivered me I laid them down I live it but actually I tell you my last pack ever bought and and I just a dumb kid I had a I had a Honda XL 100 anybody I've seen one knows Honda XL 100 see that's our generation here and I put that pack of Winston cigarettes down on the street and I backed that back tire over that pack of cigarettes and I ripped that thing up and pop the clutch and spewed tobacco for a country mile and they ain't never picked up another cigarette all right never picked up another cigarette so I can tell you tonight that I had an evil I had an evil nature in me I had an evil nature in me and you did too I don't I just want to say that you did too but I just kept praying and I kept going to church and I kept listening to Bible studies and I kept getting in prayer meetings and I kept getting up around the altar on Sunday night whether I needed the Holy Ghost or not I got up around the altar because I come up with another genius idea you got the Holy Ghost in the altar you'll keep the Holy Ghost in the altar and I'm not perfect and you're not either but I'm further along tonight than I was back then because there's an evil spirit or nature that the word came and said out of here God's presence came and said out of here but wait a minute he says here when the unclean spirit verse 43 when the unclean spirit is gone out of a man he the unclean spirit walketh through Dry places seeking rest and findeth none interesting word there rest it means recreation hell is looking for a playground then he the next verse he's the evil spirit say if I will return into my house from whence I came out and when he has come he findeth it empty swept and garnished the word empty there means to be at leisure it means to take a holiday you can you can read all of this the word empty doesn't mean that there's nothing there it means the attitude of the occupant to be at leisure to be at leisure somebody told me once they said oh we're starting to have casual services I don't like that word casual because the root word is casualty get casual about a lot of things but don't get casual about church yeah to be at leisure to take a holiday found it empty swept that just simply means in past tense the word swept there is a past tense word it means it had been cleaned and garnished that means to adorn or to place honor upon now this is describing what I believe can be a lot of our lives if we don't keep something alive in us church it's not time to be leisure it's not time generation to be leisure let's not allow coab in nineteen that shook us to our sinner to get on the other side and say wow we made it out of this boy don't we have a good government don't don't we have good health care and all of this no let us that's not an hour to be leisure this is not an hour to let down our prayer life this is not an hour to be flirting with the world this is not an hour for God's sake listen to me tonight I'm greater than Jonah has come this is not an hour to start playing around with the church this is not an hour to start second-guessing precious God if this is an hour to rebuke voices out of our lives I don't need voices several carpenter should you help me to understand what the voice of an evil spirit sounds like it sounds like confusion if you're hearing somebody's voice and it's confusing you run because he is the author of confusion well I'm just confused I'm just confused where you confused when you were running with people that had the truth and nothing but the truth so help you God were you confused when you had a daily prayer life where you confused when you were little really living for God or are you can ease now that you've gotten on the rear the back of the church and you've got new friends and new entertainment and new hat Fred that's an evil spirit it's the spirit of confusion I'd like to know what an evil spirit sounds like an evil spirit is causing you to doubt the infallibility of the Word of God that is an evil spirit I was you may be seated but I was right over here Olivia about right where you and your mama about right where you and your mom are sitting tonight I was right over there Monday praying I try to go through these pews and prayers right over here praying and I said Lord help the people at the church to be delivered from fleshly evil words those were my words God helped the people in church to be delivered from fleshly evil works and it was if I heard the Lord say they first must be delivered from the evil voice because you know before Adam and Eve ate of the fruit they first heard the evil voice evil have never thought about the tree had it not been for the evil voice even Adam would have never would have never eaten the fruit had they not first heard the voice I submit to you tonight that we are attacking evil works when we need to be attacking evil voices that's why young people pastor preaches that you are to listen to gospel singing gospel music so why because that other stuff is evil you say well what do you mean it's evil does it cause you to praise God does it cause you to live for God does it cost you want to magnify God in matter of fact some people have an issue with you worship and church music and I just thought I just calm down I just kind of can't get into that church music that church stuff that's right but you have no problem singing through your nasal on your way home tonight to some country-western song about laying here with you but got somebody else on my mind and and I long lost love you don't have any problem jacking that up and singing to that and it's going rapping at that yeah but yet you come in here I don't like it you know why is you have more of a taste for that then you do this I don't know about you but that but those songs that glorify godless living they do nothing to me but you let me get here and begin to hear you just that's the man who was thrown on the bones of the lodge that's the stone that were something begins to run all over me cuz huh I can relate to that I can relate to that come on turn the evil stuff off turn the evil stuff all start listening to the good things we don't need to talk about the evil works until we solid state say with me to stand with me I'm the evil words the evil words need to be silenced the evil words said he goeth finds it empty you don't care you're on your leisure hey they're taking a church sabbatical hey they're on the church sabbatical hey hey they just got out of choir hey I just convinced them but their problems is they're working too much in the church they've done Sedna I heard them tell the pastor I'm just going to come and sit and worship because he comes back but he doesn't come back alone he goes get seven more spirits now if the original one is one and he goes get seven that makes eight if seven be the number of completion in the Bible what does eight stand for it stands for the cycle of starting all over again and then he said we'll go back in to that house all eight of us and we'll start back over again and then he says did you really read it with me the last condition of the house is worse than the first how could that be when the first devil was told to leave I knew I was lost and in need of a savior but when the ain't nevels moved back in didn't say anything didn't say anything about bringing dirt in the house didn't say anything about taking all the garnishes off the wall can I tell you that the worst thing from being lost is to be lost and think you're all right man it's one thing to find a sinner and a sinner just look at yourself I'm lost I need God but friend if the devil can convince some of us he's not even going to take you off the Pew he don't want to necessarily change your lifestyle as long as he can keep your evil nature there that's what gossip is gossip is not of God tearing down somebody's not a god causes somebody to have a burden put on them when you ought to be praying for them and they find out you're talking about them it's not a god but the devil just leave you alone because you think you're saved and the last state of the house is worse than the first would you just lift your hands with me for a moment come on just lift your hands with me for a moment would I be asking too much of you just to lift your hands for a moment is it since we have more privileges than any generation before us what would it be asking too much just to ask you to raise your hands and to to lift your voice and just get lost for about a minute or two and love language to God Oh would it be asking too much Oh would it be asking too much Oh would it be asking too much to ask you that with this many people that claim to know God the volume ought to be a little bit louder in here tonight would it would that be asking too much hallelujah hallelujah love you go ahead go ahead and love him right now go ahead and love him right now I promise you if you've got those eight if you've got those eight evil spirits in you they don't like to hear you praise they don't like to hear you worship because God inhabits the praises of his people and when you begin to praise him the God that used to own you comes through the door and he says I'm back in this house come on come on it's not your personality to stop letting the evil spirit tell you that you don't have the personality of emotion that's a lie he do have it he just doesn't want you to praise promise you've you'll praise him right now you may not necessarily have an evil spirit but you've got a carnal nature that needs to be cast out hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah you've got a begging preacher on your hands you've got a begging preacher on your hands tonight I'm not satisfied I'm not going to just shut my Bible and walk away cold-hearted you got a begging preacher on your head and when you come before God on Judgment Day he gonna bring this Megane preacher out God I beg him to praise you I beg him to worship you yeah hallelujah I'm a begging preacher I'm a begging preacher I'm begging you I'm a begging preacher tonight I'm a begging preacher tonight has nothing to do it how many people attend here it has nothing to do with the financial stability of the church it has everything to do with souls those of you watching online tonight would I ask me asking too much of you to lift your hands on your a Bible study I'm challenging everyone I'm challenging everyone to get up of the morning and read Matthew 6 9 through 13 it is the Lord's Prayer read it read it I'm asking you to get up and read Psalms 150 verses 1 through 6 and that's a saw the praise I'm asking you to read Psalms 23 one through six that's a Bible study and I promise you if you will do this you are setting the direction for
