angels preached unto the gentiles lord i thank you for this mystery i thank you lord for such a great salvation thank you lord you have your bibles i would like to you to join with me in 2nd samuel chapter 16 verse number 5 thank you praise team thank you thank you so so much i just love i just love having church with such anointed singers and musicians just praising god and the presence of god and i get to say to those of you that are watching online anyone that is watching online if you are feeling a tenth of what we're feeling here then i know that you're on your feet rejoicing there's such a tremendous anointing there's such a tremendous power of god that's here this evening and i do thank the lord for that thank you musicians and thank you singers for doing such an excellent job for the lord want to remind everyone tomorrow night monday evening at 7:30 we will begin our online revival and i'm going to be teaching three consecutive nights monday tuesday and wednesday night at 7:30 on the the power of prayer the principle of prayer and the practice the practice of prayer the power the principle and the practice of prayer it'll be about a thirty thirty five minute lesson i want you to be ready with pen and paper i'd like to take these three evenings and teach on prayer that we can put prayer into practice in our in our homes i also want to say to our sound technicians there means you're a murder murderer you're a bloody man in belial means you're a fool and thus said shimmy aye when he cursed come out come out thy bloody man down man of belial the lord has returned upon thee all the blood of the house of saul and who said thou as rain and the lord had delivered the kingdom into the hand of absalom my son and behold thou art taken in thy mischief because thou art a bloody murderous man for just a few moments tonight i realized i said again this morning was said tonight two weeks ago i came to this pulpit preaching faith and hope and about every message has been about faith and hope but even during this season of kovat 19 not only does our society need faith and hope but our churches need pastoring our churches need their pastors voice and i'm pastoring tonight i'm preaching tonight to the wonderful saints of the miravalle campus and the sevierville campus yet pastor i want to i want to pastor you a little bit tonight i want to preach to you a little bit this evening and i want to preach on this subject the shame of shimmy i the shame of shimmy i god we love you we thank you lord for the privileged opportunity of bearing your word i ask that you would touch my mind touch my mouth give me the ability spiritually to articulate these words lord help me tonight to speak to the church god helped me tonight to encourage the church to educate the church tonight help me lord to speak into somebody's life that the enemy may be not the virus but the enemy is trying to invade their lungs of praise i ask you tonight god that you would anoint me and i'll give you all the praise and all the honor in jesus name i pray amen and amen you may be seated the shame the shame of shimmy i i am extremely blessed tonight extremely highly blessed night to be working in maryville with some of the greatest christian men and women men and women that are sold out to the cause of the work of god among these great men and women who are sold out dedicated faithful is my own flesh and blood children all three of our children are involved in the work of god here at first apostolic church one little boy in sunday school was asked one time he was asked one time he was probably third or fourth generation probably about eight years old and he was asked by a sunday-school teacher why do you love jesus and he got to thinking for a few minutes in his daddy love jesus his momma love jesus his grandparents loved jesus his great-grandparents loved jesus and he just said teacher i just believe it runs in our family it just runs in our family well if something can run in your family don't you believe it would be a good thing that loving jesus would just run one in your family in that it is a great joy it is a great joy to pastor what i believe to be the greatest people on this earth and to have my children along with my son in laws working arm and arm together i would confess to you tonight that one of my greatest fears about my children and about the workers in our church is the fear of them getting hurt hurt while working in the house of god hurt while trying to do the will of god and the work of god and the enemy knows that they'll never go down and buy a bottle of liquor the enemy knows they'll never go down and buy marijuana or they'll never go and do some tremendous sin but the enemy knows that to the workers and to pastors children he knows the only way that he can get them is for them to be hurt from within trying to help people and the very people that you're trying to help sometimes are the very ones that can hurt you now i please tonight don't believe that i'm settling in for a negative message because it's not going to be a negative message it is simply a reality it is a reality that people have been hurt in the work of god and if their hurts are not handled correctly their hurts can lead to them losing their walk with god the shame of shimmy shimmy i had been told a lie about the character of king david you see king david was going through the darkest time of his life his own son absalom had been conspiring behind his back and the bible said stealing the affections of the men of israel he got him a spot out by the gate and as people came and waited in long lines to see king david and to hear the wisdom of king david absalom situated himself and he would reach in the bible says he would get people and he would kiss them and he would he would tell them that they that a good cause and and that that all that there was just somebody that was appointed that could could handle these matters of course what absalom was trying to do was the satellite that david was insensitive that david didn't care about the flock and finally up to several years absalom had been successful he mastered an army and he attacked david in his own city david being a very wise man did not want to have a battle in jerusalem he knew that he knew that god had anointed him and he knew that if he fought with absalom he knew that he would overpower absalom and they would be great bloodshed so the bible describes david as barefooted leaving jerusalem with a handful of people as a matter of fact as he was leaving jerusalem barefooted running for his life the bible said they came with the ark of the covenant and david made him take the ark of the covenant back to jerusalem because if the ark of the covenant was gone and then worship would have been disrupted the whole time that david was gone and david's thoughts were just because i'm having some trouble i don't want the whole city and the nation of israel and so it made him take the ark of the covenant back and david david was running barefooted he was running out of jerusalem when this man who was of the house of saul the previous king this man came and with loud cursing he began to curse david he began to slander david he called david a murderer and he called david a fool he threw rocks and dust at david and he even told david that this is the lord's doing the lord is repaying you for all that you've done now while shimmy eye is up there on the hill cursing david one of david's men and a mighty man of bishi i he said david he said let me go up to the top of that hill and cut that dead dog's head off said why should he curse the king but listen to the wisdom of david david said amisha as a matter of fact he even said sons of zarua and that word there's a rua has a root word that goes into bitterness it goes into being wounded he said you you sons of the womb did you ever you ever noticed something about wounded people if it's not handled correctly wounded people won't blood wounded people won't revenge if that they want everybody to bear a wounded and so if david said too ambitious ed your sons of zorua what have i to do with you he said let him alone and let him curse said just let him curse he said you know it may be that i need to be cursed i may need to hear i hear a lot of praises salih slain his thousands but david has slain his tens of thousand he said you know i may need to hear a little bit of cursing or he said this he said it may be it may be that that that god it may be that god will hear jimmy eyes cursing and requite me or pay me back good for his cursing in other words god and they looked down and god may see me keeping my composure god may see me in the midst of my hurt god may see me keeping my composure and not sending a mission to take his head off god may see me in the midst of my hurt with my composure fixed on him and god may requite me or pay me good for what i'm doing right now it does matter how we behave in the time of our hurt it doesn't matter how we keep our composure spiritually but you see shimmy uh you have no idea shimmy huh you have absolutely no idea shimmy uh the very one that you're cursing is the very one that's saving your life right now the very one that you're saying of murderer a fool is the very one that has the power of life and death all david would had to say to abyss you guys go ahead get up the hill and take his head off little did you know shimmy uh sometimes wounded people little do they know that that church that they're wounded at those people that they're wounded at little do they know that those are the very people in their prayer rooms in their prayer times is saying to god oh god saved their lives oh god keep the death angel from the door oh when god is about to allow the death angel to go to their house no doubt there's a there's a there's a david that's me and curse there's a david that's being mistreated but that day that is on his knees in the prayer room and he said oh god just spare despair jimmy i you see jimmy i had been told a lot about the character of david she me i lived a life and frustration and bitterness and it grew in him like a cancer king saul was kin to shamea it was shimmy oz family king saul chose to live a life of disobedience read your bible king saul chose to be disobedient to god and god's word king saul decided that he was not going to kill all the amalekites he was not going to respect the order of the priesthood he was not going to do things god's way and the truth of the matter is god took the anointing off of king saul and put it on david and although king saul held the title that's all saw ever held from then on out was the title but you see somebody in king saul's family couldn't tell the story right see most of the time people get hurt over a lie they get a hurt over something that's not even true stop coming to church they'll get out of position they'll they'll do several things over something that's not even the truth not even through somewhere somewhere somebody came to see me eyes maybe a little boy maybe oh god help us maybe shimmy i was a little boys sitting between his daddy in his uncle and it began here his daddy and uncle talk about old man when when our beloved saul was raining we had positions in the kingdom but that murderous david that murderous david that murdered that foolish little shepherd boy came out and scold the hearts of the people and maybe as a little boy maybe as a little boy jimmy i began to hear this i remember some time ago a precious pastor he's got a drug prevention program in his church and and he was telling me about a woman and they actually have the classes there in the church that he pastors and he was telling me about a woman hooked on cocaine her life her morals all throw it away he got her case by going to the courthouse and she was either going to have to find a program to get in or the judge was going to put her in the jail and the pastor took her and said we'll put her in this program and she she came to the church and pastor said she seemed to know her way around the church when i begin to tell her where the classes were going to be held she seemed to know her way around the church and he said wait a minute how do you know your way around the church and she stopped for a moment she said as a little girl my mom and grandmother brought me to this church as a little girl they brought me but said sad to say all i really remember as a little girl all i really remembered was that evidently people got to sing who had money all i really ever heard about from my mama and my grandmother was you had to be somebody in that church to have a position you you had to have the right clothes and i all i ever heard was it was too loud or or the preacher was too long or or the preaching was too hard and said that's all i ever remember about the church god help us could everything had been bypassed with that little shimmy i had that mother and grandmother spoke about the positive things that are in the house of god can i tell you tonight that i'm not saying there's not things wrong in the church but you hear me tonight and hear me apostolic ly clear there is more right in the apostolic church then there is rome with the apostolic church and the apostolic church at its worst is better than any denominator at its best i'm glad to be in the church of the living god what about all shimmy i heard all shimmy i heard was lies david wasn't a murderous king david wasn't a murderous king and he wasn't a fool nobody shared the truth with jimmy i can i tell you the truth of david one time while saul was hunting david's life hunting him like a dog through the woods david was in a cave him in a group of his men were in a cave and he was in a cave him men and they were resting and they begin to hear a noise at the mouth of the cave and some some a said davis and it was so soulless can't came into this cave where david said and his men moved to the back david's men moved to the sides of the room saul came in and took his robe off and while saul had his robe off david got close enough and he took his knife out and he cut him a few inches off of the skirt of saul's robe a few moments later saw put his robe back on and saul walked out of the cave and back down into the valley only to hear david say king saul king saul and saul looked back up at david david had the skirt of saul's robe and some solet's now that he's missing several inches of his of his garment and david's got it is lynn and in essence he's saying i could have kept i could have cut your throat as easily as i cut your robe i could have slit your throat as easily as i slit this garment but he wounded or not do you reverence or do you want revenge if you find yourself wanting a revenge you're wounded but if you find yourself wanting something to be read it's god is making you hold david didn't want revenge o precious god i don't want to fall among the camp of revenge i want to fall in the group that wants to reverence it's another time david found saul asleep found him sleeping his water bottle and his spear david got so close to him that night he took his water bottle to get spear once again got on the mountain cried out and even at that time even saul said david you are more righteous than i am i'm going to tell you the bigger person is not the one who takes revenge the biggest bigger person is the one that gives reverence we're all made in the image and the likeness of god why didn't somebody tell jimmy i that why didn't somebody tell jimmy i dave it's not a murder david's not a murderer david's not a fool why didn't somebody tell jimmy i house all actually died but now look out now look out now david's coming a high paying something mei mei knows what to do david's coming back second samuel 19 in verse number 7 team says verse number 16 excuse me and shimmy i still doesn't address the major issue that he believes a lot a lot of people can repent for their behavior but they're bound to repeat it if they don't address the issue i believed a lot he just goes down he said all that cursing that i did all that kherson that i did those rocks throwing that dust throwing all would you forgive your servant david took note of that shimmy i is repenting over his behavior but he's not dealing with the root of the problem well once again shimmy i was laying before david look at verse number 24 thy servant does know that i've sinned therefore behold i've he's given some last minute keep the charge of the lord thy god to walk in his ways to keep his statutes and his commandments and its judgments and his testimonies can't you hear him now but the not only can't you now as it is written in the law of moses that they'll ship is prospering all that they'll do us whether so ever thou turnest thyself he's an old man and behold thou asked with the can i tell you we need to keep our herd in the proper environment we need to keep our wounded in the proper environment we all get hurt come on now we all get hurt those of you that are watching by the web we all get hurt there is no way to go around it the bible said it is impossible that offences will come it is not if you get offended it is when you get offended but the bible says great peace character to believe the bad about the kingdom it is ingrained in your character to believe the bad about all the servants of the lord so the only way that you can live is build you a house in jerusalem you need to be your shot of the temple you need to be hearing the law here o israel the lord our god is one lord you need to hear on a daily basis thou shalt not covet thou shalt not kill thou shalt not lie you need to hear on a daily basis praise and worship and glory and honor be unto god you need to hear the songs of zion you need on a regular basis be and hear the songs of zion since you build you a house in jerusalem and said the day you get that the day you go over the brook kidron now the brook kidron was headed to the land of benjamin said the day that you go back to where you come from is the day that you're going to die brothers and sisters tonight we need to keep ourselves immerse in the word of god we need to keep ourselves immersed in prayer meetings bible reading outreach singing in the choir teaching sunday school we need to keep ourselves around the house of god to being touched by the mighty hand of god he said oh that's a good saying he said i'll live by that i'll abide by that but you got to watch because the bible says shimmy i he agreed to it but the story goes on and in 1st kings 2 and 38 he said she i mean i said unto the king by saying church will be the first thing in my life because i should have died my children should have died but i've been given mercy now saying is good as the lord the king of said so with i servant do shimmy shamea i sounded like to me jerusalem has been pretty good to him because he's been there three years and he can miss two servants it's not referred to him as all all the servants get two servants run person and i will show you somebody that cannot suffer an injustice oh somebody talked about me oh get in line right oh somebody said something about me and sometimes they say it as if they have never said an unkind word about anybody else bitter people cannot suffer an injustice i submit to you tonight that if god is ever going to use you you're gonna have to become like jesus and turn the other cheek you're gonna have to become like jesus and go the second mile you're gonna have to become like jesus who knew no sin you're gonna have to become like jesus that the iniquities was laid upon and he took all of these things jimmy i cannot take and i submit to you that because he was raised believing a lie he was not able to to handle the injustice of two servants leaving him it's an amazing people break god's law and go where they should not go getting their eyes on what they lost and not getting keeping their eyes on what they have i made look i may suffer an offense in the church one person may say something unkind to me my god i've got six hundred ninety-nine that say something kind of me we will focus on that those two servants didn't say all the servants the two of them i'll get my mind on two of them servants and i won't see all the good that i've got i won't see since i've been in jerusalem three years on my marriages got healed i won't see that since we met in jerusalem going to church on a regular basis my rebellious children now wanna sing in the choir they want to get on the bob the bible quiz team they want to do things in the house i just kept my mind on i have suffered a perceived injustice he comfort himself as he walked over the brook kidron i've got a right to go after these servants i've been done wrong jimmy i rose verse 40 inside of his ass and went together to a koosh to seek the servants and shimmy i went brought his servants back and it was told solomon dane that shimmy i went back soloman new i have to put to death shimmy i'm this is this is hard for me to preach but sometimes we have to come to the realization realization you can't save people that don't want to be saved you can't save folks you can't you cannot make someone want god and if you don't watch i'm not saying you don't pray for them i'm not saying you don't love them but you can't keep shimmy out alive letting him run in and run out of your life you can't keep shimmy out god can never make anything out of you if you've got a shimmy i part time in jerusalem and a shimmy out part time where he come from bible said the king verse 42 called force mei and said unto him did i not make me swear by the lord and protest it unto thee saying no for a survey on the day that thou goest and walkest abroad any whither thou shalt surely die and you said the word that i have heard is good why then has tile not kept the oath of the lord the commandment that i have charged the with the king said unto ship moreover to shamea they'll know us all the wickedness that's in thine heart is probably - that thou mr. david my father wherefore the lord shall return thy wickedness upon god own head and king solomon shall be blessed in the throne of david shall be established before the lord forever so the king commanded the executioner and he went out fell upon schemey eye and he lost his life i don't know how many times you hear people say this people's people who once said in our church with their children little stair-step children he said in our church and somehow somebody gets offended mom and dad get out of church the kids are not brought up in the house of god you don't know how it breaks the heart of a man of god to open up the obituary section of the newspaper see the picture of a kid who used to be here to church read the names of those those marriages have been dissolved and you know when they know that i never should have left jerusalem i wonder when the executioner came jimmy i looked at that executioner i wondered just how being those servants meant to him at that moment when that executioner was coming for his life i got up early one morning i turned the radio on and right at the moment i turned it on it told about a house fire in another state it got my attention number one how horrific it was it was a house fire that burned up several little children several little children were burnt up in this house fire and it also got my attention because it was from a small town that i was very familiar with later on that day i got a call from that pastor i believe there was maybe five children that were burned up and he reminded me said you remember he said the family i said yes i remember going there preaching revivals they said on the front row of the church mom and dad sister aronson had come freshly out of the world give us something to do they would vacuum the floor mow the church grass work at the church pray in the altars as a matter of fact even the dad was feeling the call to preach somewhere mom or dad got offended didn't like something pastor said saw it injustice they got offended they started bouncing around churches mom reached back picked up the cigarettes and started smoking dad had to work on that job and while dad was gone at the night job mom fell asleep with a cigarette in her mouth caught the bed on fire if i know the story correct me if i remember it correctly nolan mom
