would you stand with me at this time and if you have your bibles turn with me to the book of exodus chapter 14 the book of exodus chapter 14. we're going to begin reading at verse number 13. if by chance you you don't have your bible with you this morning if you direct your attentions to the screens behind me you will see the verse and can follow along and moses said unto the people fear ye not stand still and see the salvation of the lord which he will show to you today for the egyptians whom you have seen today ye shall see them again no more forever the lord shall fight for you i'd like for us all to say that together uh just this one part here the lord the lord who's going to fight for you the lord is going to fight for you and ye shall hold your peace go down to verse number 24 and it came to pass that in the morning watch the lord looked unto the host of the egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud and troubled the host of the egyptians and took off their chariot wheels that they drave them heavily so that the egyptians said let us flee from the face of israel for the lord fighteth for them against the egyptians go down to verse 27 and moses stretched forth his hand over the sea and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared and the egyptians fled against it and the lord overthrew the egyptians in the midst of the sea verse 29 but the children of israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand and on their left thus the lord saved israel that day out of the hand of the egyptians and israel saw the egyptians dead upon the seashore and israel saw that great work which the lord did upon the egyptians and the people fear the lord believe the lord and his servant moses for just a few moments today i want to preach on this subject the two battles of israel the two battles of israel if you have a prayer request this morning an unspoken request that's that's will be lifted up in faith would you make that known in the presence of god by just simply lifting your hand right now god knows that need listen to these needs i'd like to bring before you let's remember to pray for brother arwood our founding pastor he's home from the hospital they ran a series of tests on him let's pray for brother r wood let's pray for sister rhonda carpenter and that's kind of sounds odd to say that sister rhonda carpenter today uh she had knee surgery and hopefully will come home from the hospital this morning let's also pray for brother jim goodman let's pray for sister shea dodson let's pray for bishop james carney today in woodlawn mississippi let's pray for our high risk congregation those that are extremely high risk about the virus and that is mary crowder nolan and barbara havard brother and sister croucher and i'm just naming a few here carl and gloria franklin and i could spend the next 10 minutes of members of our congregation that are considered high risk and we pray for we pray for them we pray for them this morning father i love you today and i thank you for the privilege and the opportunity to bring the needs before you god you are a prayer answering god and we know that because your word says if we will call upon you you will hear our prayers father we know today as we ask you and we bring our needs before you god we know that you're able to answer them not the exact way we want it answered but a way that's much higher god than our way lord and your perfect will would be done upon all of the requests that have been made known today god i pray for healing i pray for deliverance i pray for strength god i pray that through every trial we would come to know you deeper fuller and in a more meaningful way lord anoint my lips today as i minister your word let it cause faith god to arise in the hearts of your people that lord we would be overcomers that we would have life and life more abundantly in jesus wonderful name we pray amen amen would you give the lord a hand to praise before you're seated would you give him the best hand you'd give him given him all day oh praise be to god oh hallelujah thank you jesus thank you lord glory to god thank you lord you may be seated and let me just say this uh tonight uh brother nolan carpenter is going to be ministering the word about our children about our children and uh nolan said to us yesterday he said dad he said do you realize that for the last several years i think he said four years he said you always have me preach on super bowl sunday night he said dad you know i'm going to come to church i said oh yes it's not it's not been on purpose and your mama would kill you if you didn't and then bless god he married a girl just like his mama he's got two mamas on him so well but uh we look forward to that but brother brother nolan the lord began to deal with me this morning and uh you know we have a vase a vase in our prayer room that has names of prodigals upon them and we have another vase that when our prodigals come home and they rededicate their life back to god we take them out and put them in another vase there that is a vase that is for prodigals that have come home but this morning very early i i begin to think about you ministering to our children tonight to our children and um i am going to purchase a base and it's not called a prodigal base i'm calling this vase our future vase our future base because i want tonight the names of all the children in this church or that's connected to this church ages 12 and under if you will come and write their names down ages 12 and number under if you will come and write their names down we're going to purchase a vase and that vase instead of when we pick that vase up and say god would you touch our prodigals we're going to take that base up and say god this is our future this is our future do you remember pharaoh said to moses said you can leave egypt but don't take your children with you well i've got news for pharaoh today we're leaving egypt and our children are going to go with us also we're we are going to take our children so that will be that will be tonight i hope you noticed this morning in the reading how it said and emphasized and i tried to emphasize it with lifting my voice just a little bit but the lord fought that battle the lord fought that battle basically all israel had to do was two things obey and march that's all they had to do all they had to do to be delivered from egyptian bondage 430 years of cruel bondage 430 years of impossible it seemed that it would turn around all they had to do was believe and march that's all they had to do the lord fought every battle the lord sent a man by the name of moses moses came down with the rod of god in his hand and when moses would raise his hand the power of god would move and plagues would come across the land after the final plague of the death angel coming through the land israel saw a cloud just outside of egypt's limits and that cloud was the glory of god and the egyptians or the israelites walked out of israel they never fought one time against pharaoh or the egyptians they never waged one battle they came out and all they had to do was simply walk and believe why is that because the first battle of israel god fought that battle not israel god fought that battle it's very important that we understand that god fought that most important battle because when it comes to praising god he cannot get most of the glory for it he can't get almost most of the glory for it but when it comes to our salvation it is imperative god gets all the glory for it god gets every bit of the glory all credit all glory all praise must be given to the lord jesus christ he gets all power he gets all credit he gets all praise follow me through a few scriptures psalms 83 and verse 18 that men may know that thou whose name alone is jehovah you see there's two things that brought deliverance to them in the old testament and brings deliverance to us in the new testament two things his name and his blood his name and his blood there's no other name and there's no other blood that men may know that thou whose name alone is jehovah are the most high over all the earth psalms 86 10 for thou art great and do us wondrous things thou art god alone psalms 136 and verse number four to him who alone doeth great wonders for his mercy endureth forever listen to job listen to job describe god in job 9 and verse number 8 god which alone spreadeth out the heavens and treadeth that word tread up there means to walk and walk upon the waves of the sea mark chapter 6 verse 3 47 excuse me march march mark chapter 6 and verse number 47 and when the even was come the ship was in the midst of the sea and he alone on the land he saw them toiling and rowing for the wind was contrary unto them and about the fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them walking upon the sea and would have passed them by can i tell you that when it comes to praise your praise is a failure this morning if it adds anything in it but him alone not by might not by power but it's by god's spirit saith the lord of hosts alone alone but then i begin to tell you today about his name he has a name like no other for acts chapter 4 and 12 that's why we sang about it today that's why the continuity a thread that ran through every song that was sung today had to do with the name of jesus why do you all sing about the name of jesus so much because there's no other name like the name of jesus there's just no other name i can't take credit my name won't get you anything but oh if we can just get the name of jesus lifted up god alone acts 4 and 12 says neither is there salvation in any other for there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved no other name no other name psalms 148-13 let them praise the name of the lord for his name alone is excellent his glory is above the earth and the heaven i'm talking to you today about a god who deserves all praise the first battle the first battle that was fought for israel all israel had to do was believe and march that's all they had to do because the lord the lord alone fought that battle but his name in philippians chapter 2 and verse number 9 philippians chapter 2 and verse number 9 wherefore god also hath highly exalted him and given him what a name which is above every name that at the name of jesus at the name of jesus at the name of jesus every knee would bow of things in heaven that's angels and things in the earth that's people and things under the earth that's the demonic world can i tell you that one day one day maybe not now but one day when he sets up this kingdom on earth every knee whether they want to bow or not somebody's going to say jesus and every angel is going to stop and bow their knee and every person is going to stop and bow their knee and every demonic spirit is going to have to stop and give way to the name of jesus no wonder the enemy doesn't want us to sing about that name no wonder the enemy doesn't want us speaking that name no wonder the bible says that you would be hated of all nations for my name's sake you see ladies and gentlemen brothers and sisters today the first battle that was fought for you and i to bring us out of the grip and bondage of sin we take no credit for it we're not saved by works lest any man should boast but we're saved because god alone god alone came down and he executed judgment upon all the gods you do realize that's what happened with the plagues all of those plagues the ten plagues represented an egyptian god and he came down and executed judgment upon all the egyptian gods that's why he is called king of kings and lord of lords because there is no other king like our king and no other lord like our lord because he executed judgment upon them all wherefore god hath highly exalted him and given him a name which is above every name that at the name of jesus why don't we say it right now at the name of every knee should bow with things in heaven and things in earth and things under the earth and that every tongue should confess that jesus christ is lord to the glory of god the father so now we have a name that's above every name we have a name that's above every name but the reason we have the old testament is the old testament is in symbol type form of what god did for the new testament church and so we we we read the old testament we teach the old testament because the old testament tells us about types and shadows moses showed up with a name i am that i am jesus came to this earth god robed in flesh but the angel said thou shalt call his name jesus for he shall save his people from their sins but we understand something about the name the name is connected to his blood because just the final plague of egypt had to do with a lamb and had to do with the blood of the lamb on the doorpost of the israelites they came out of egypt they had the blood of the lamb on the doorpost and they had eaten the meat of the lamb that night for strength and so we come to the new testament and we don't have moses we come to the new testament and we don't have moses we come and we have the man sent from god who was the god man jesus christ and he has the name that is above every name but he not only has the name but for because of his virgin birth he alone has the blood of redemption for first peter chapter 1 and verse number 18 for as much as you know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things as silver and gold from your vain conversation received by the tradition from your fathers but with the precious blood of christ as a lamb without blemish and without spot can i tell you today you cannot believe anything outside of his name and his blood can bring you out of sin you don't need to have church religion memo and papaw religion you don't need to have preacher religion the only thing that's going to break the yoke of egypt is his name and his blood and when you find yourself on the other side of the red sea with dead egyptians floating in the red sea you're going to be able as miriam to pick up a tambourine and say the lord hath triumphed gloriously you see brothers and sisters today let me preach to you for a moment if i dare take credit for my salvation then i'm going to be on a roller coaster he loves me he loves me not i'm saved i'm not saved because i'm trying to measure my salvation by my behavior but i will admit to you today i've had good days and i have bad days but can i tell you in the midst of a good day or in the midst of a bad day when it comes time to give god praise glory and honor he alone his name alone his blood alone is the reason i clap my hands his name alone his blood alone is the reason i got up this morning and put some clothes on and i come to the house of god and i begin to sing the song i didn't come to see you i didn't come for a social gathering i come because he alone is worthy of all the praise and he alone is worthy of all the come on if you believe that this morning join with me and magnify the lord with me let's crack the book open to revelation john shows us things that are all that are going to come to pass in heaven and john in revelation chapter 7 verse number 13. and one of the elders let me just go ahead and tell you one of the elders saw a group of people around the throne that could not be numbered of all nations of all tongues he saw the church triumphant he saw the believers from all ages gathered around the throne and the bible says and one of the elders answered saying unto him what are these which are arrayed in white robes and whence came they the elder knew the answer the elder that they they knew the answer who what are these that have the white robes on and where did they come from and john says back and i said unto him sir thou knowest i see a people with white robes and i see a people gathered around the throne from every tongue man you think that was something this morning to hear brother hammond being english and somebody behind him being in spanish you wait till you get around the throne and they begin to praise him around the throne some chinese samandrian some spanish some some english and all all kinds of language hundreds of languages and and john just said sir thou knowest and he said unto me these are they which came out of great tribulation and have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the lamb i don't know what you're going through but i know what can help you get out of it wash your robe in the blood of the lamb a robe represented the personality of the one who wore it i'm telling you i don't care what spot what dilemma what tribulation you're going through today but the answer to you is to wash your robe in the blood of the lamb when all hell tries to come against you everything battles in your mind just begin to think about the precious blood of jesus christ there's nothing like that precious blood go ahead and wash your robe in it go ahead and wash your robe in it i know you might have made some mistakes this week i know there might have been some slip-ups and some hang-ups this week but why don't you come on a sunday morning and begin to proclaim there's no name like his name and there's no blood like his blood they wash their robes made them white in the blood of the lamb turn a few chapters over to revelation chapter 12 and verse number 10 and i heard a loud voice in heaven saying now is come salvation and strength and the kingdom of our god and of the power of his christ for the accuser of our brethren is cast down which accused them before our god day and night who is that now if you don't have enough problems with yourself there's an adversary that's after you there's an adversary that's after you he is what's called the accuser of the brethren he always wants to remind you of your mess up he always wants to remind you and beat you down but the bible says with a loud voice saying now is come salvation and strength and the kingdom of our god and of the power of his christ for the accuser of our brethren is cast down which accused them before our god day and night boy he's a busy devil isn't he he accuses him day and night and they overcame him by the what how did we overcome the accuser come on how did we overcome the accuser oh when i i began to think about what i did i i don't feel good about myself that's right that's exactly what the accuser wants he wants to keep you in condemnation so that he can drag you back to the old axe but when that old foul spirit gloominess begins to baptize your soul you don't need to think about going on a three-day fast you don't need to think about jumping a little higher you don't need to think about clapping a little louder you don't need to think about you know doing something mowing the churchyard or giving some extra money to the church do you know what can help you just begin to think about the blood of the lamb because the bible says they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony and they love not their lives unto death do you hear me this morning you see any time you begin to wash your robe in the blood of the lamb he puts a testimony in your mouth and that's not a moaning about your testing that is a testimony that you are an overcomer you are an overcomer can i tell you that if you'll begin to wash your robe in the blood of the lamb he'll see you through seasons of your life when you wanted to throw in the towel if you'll begin to wash your robe in the blood of the lamb he'll see you through financial disaster and financial bankrupt he'll see you through divorce court he'll see you through all kinds of things and you'll get out on the oh hallelujah you'll get out on the other side and you'll say praise god don't know how i made it but i made it through by the blood of the lamb oh brother carpenter i'm just thinking about giving up my mom and dad don't serve the lord i've got it so hard at home i've got it so difficult in my family i've got all this stuff stacked against me don't you give up young boy don't you give up young lady you begin to wash your robe in the blood of the lamb you won't always live at that address you won't always be the age that you are god will bring you out of that and you'll look back on it later in your life as you're raising your family and you'll say i made it out by the blo oh give him some praise right now would you well glory you've got to understand how in the new testament the blood and the name works together the blood and the name are inseparable in the new testament when you talk about his name you're talking about his blood and when you talk about his blood you're talking about his name you can't separate the name and the blood or the blood from the name as a matter of fact a bunch of religious rulers will bear testimony to this because when peter and john preached the name of jesus they said stop preaching that name but in acts chapter 5 and verse 28 listen to the religious rulers saying did not we straightly command you that ye should not teach in this what we don't want you teaching in this name and behold you have filled jerusalem with your doctrine and intent to bring this man's blood upon us he said oh yes he said we don't want you to preach that name why because you're bringing that blood upon us when you preach that name you're bringing his blood now they didn't want that name because jesus blood spoke of their condemnation but it's totally different for us today when we take someone up there to the baptismal pool it's not to join this church because nowhere in the bible was anyone ever baptized to join a church oh it's not even to show that you're following christ christ was baptized and you should be baptized that's all man-made religion but when you go to that water in the name of jesus the bible plains up plainly tells us that we are baptized calling the name out and we are baptized for the remission of our sins and the apostle paul writer of over half of the new testament said without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin brothers and sisters today to you that have been baptized in jesus name do you realize when you went down in that wonderful name that you were washed in the blood of jesus christ spiritually what can wash away my sins nothing but the blood of jesus what can make me whole again nothing but the blood nothing but the blood well i've got a little bit ways to go here and i'll end this first battle i'll end this first battle with revelation 19 and 13 the appearance of the lord jesus from heaven and he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood and his name is called the word of god oh friend salvation and deliverance of israel began with moses and all they had to do with that first battle was believe and march that's all they had to do was just believe and march the cloud led them by day and the cloud led them by night but i said there were two battles of israel and the second battle is not like the first battle in exodus chapter 17 and verse number eight then amalek then came amalek and fought with israel in raphaedam then came emily now let me introduce you to amalek because we're going to have a war with him today and you're going to have to do more than just march you're going to have to do more than just march this second battle with amalek i must introduce him to you he is a descendant of esau he is a descendant of a man that desired the flesh he represents the fleshly part he's the descendants the amalekites amalek came and fought with those that had been delivered can i tell you just because you have crossed your red sea and no name like his name and no blood like his name does not mean you will not encounter another battle and the enemy wants you to doubt what happened to you in egypt because you are now battling amalek he'll try to put certain things into your mind such as if i'm really saved why have i got this battle going on well you've got that battle going on because amalek is here that represented that the representation of the flesh now let me show you how wicked amalek fights i must take you from exodus 17 8 just for a moment and take you to deuteronomy 22 25 and verse 19. this is how amalek fights listen to god speaking to israel deuteronomy 25 18. he's speaking about amalek how he met the amalek by the way and smote behind her most of me even all that were feeble behind thee when thou was faint and weary and he feared not god watch how amalek fights he fights by finding people on the fringes he fights by finding those that are lagging behind now let me just inject this here for just a moment work your best not to be on the fringe because the attacks always happens on the fringes of israel see amalek is a coward amalek has to work by stealth amalek knows better than to attack in the core of the group amalek has to come and find those that have untied themselves from their dedication of fullness to god and oh they come to church oh they still look the part and dress the part have a little schedule but the truth be known you're beginning to lag behind in the crowd can i tell you today please you are becoming a prime target for amalek now going back to exodus 17 then came amalek and fought with israel and raphaedam he came and fought with israel um well wait let me i just turned the page here and i just see where i read verse 18 deuteronomy 25 18 but i want to read deuteronomy 25 19 also therefore it shall be when the lord thy god hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round about in the land which thou thy the the lord thy god giveth thee for an inheritance posses to possess it that thou shalt blot out the remembrance of amalek from under heaven thou shalt not forget it he said i want you to work on once and for all blotting him out i want you to work on that spirit that wants to drag you back now i understand we can't have confidence in ourselves i understand that but we do need to possess a made-up mind that would say by the help of god i'm never going back not only by the help of god i'm never going back by the help of god i don't want to go back i believe if we stay in a good relationship with god the want to of wanting to go back won't even be there well that's a tongue twister right you won't even want to go back but if you if you begin to loose yourself up and you begin to let amalek you you know one of the things about one of the things that brought amalek on you will notice this and i just don't have time to go into an in-depth study but when israel got on the other side of the red sea and got delivered they got on the other side of the red sin got delivered they had a terrible thing about them is whenever they ran into a need they began to complain and not praise they begin to complain can i tell you a complaining spirit we have it way too good to complain and a complaining spirit is a beacon to amalek to come and get me because i am complaining i'm here and there's no water i'm here and there's no bread and they begin to complain but god said what i want you to do when i have given you rest i want you to put him i want you to blot him out i want him i want him to be blotted out i don't want you struggling with amalek now let's go back to exodus 17 and verse number nine and moses said unto joshua now you gotta you gotta see something here joshua this is the first time joshua's name is mentioned in scripture joshua is the old testament type of jesus christ as a matter of fact his name means jehovah is our salvation so joshua is an old testament type of jesus christ moses being the law calls for joshua and says choose us out men and go out and fight with amalek tomorrow i will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of god in my hand and joshua did as moses had said to him and fought with amalek and moses aaron and her went up to the top of the hill i want you to see this in your mind it came to pass when moses held up his hand that israel prevailed and when he let down his hand amalek prevailed now watch the battle i told you the first battle you're not fighting in the first battle but the second battle against amalek everybody's got to get involved moses said moses said aaron and her are going to go to the top of the hill and we're going to survey the battle and the bible says here came amalek the past and here came israel the present and they met there and they began to do battle but moses lifted up his rod lifted up his arms the rod of god and when he lifted up that same rod that divided the red sea he from an aerial view he from an aerial view could see israel beginning to push the amalekites back in defeat but moses began to get weary and he couldn't hold his hands up he couldn't hold his hands up all by himself and he let his arms come down and when he let his arms come down he noticed that the amalekites begin to push back the israelites and gain ground again but moses had taken to the mountain two men with him aaron and her and they noticed it they noticed it you see we need more than one person in the church that knows why we're being defeated and knows how to get victory somebody said wait a minute brother moses moses i noticed something get your hands back up moses and moses said brother aaron i'd love to hold my hands up but my my shoulder blades are burning and my legs are getting getting weak and and aaron and her said that's all right we may not hold the rod but we'll be a support to you we'll be a support to you you see sometimes in church business we have what i liken firemen fighting over who gets to ring the fire truck bail while the house burns down you see it doesn't matter who rings the bell just get the fire truck to the scene of the fire it doesn't matter who gets to hold up the rod there's no big eyes or little used in the house of god it doesn't matter who holds up the rod what matters is is that the rod gets held up and if the rod gets held up we're going to win every battle that amalek comes against us how many today want to be a support amen how many want to be a support might not get a solo in the choir i might not be on a board of the church i might not get my name etched in some kind of pew but just put me down i want to be a support of the church may uh a slit a rock under moses moses sat down and aaron got on one side and her got on the other and they held the hands up until the battle was complete look at verse number 10 joshua did as moses had said unto him and fought with amalek moses aaron and her went up to the top of the hill went up to the top of the hill it came to pass when moses held up his hands that israel prevailed and when he let down his hands amalek prevailed moses hands were heavy they took a stone and put it up under him and sat there on and aaron and her stayed up up his hands the one on the one side and the other on the other side his hands were steady until the going down of the sun and joshua disconfited amalek and his people with the edge of the sword and we'll stop right there now you do understand that joshua and the men fighting have no idea why why one minute they're winning and another minute they're not it would be later that they would tell moses would tell joshua when my hands got weary and i let the rod go down you become defeated but when i got a good support group around me and i was able to get something to rest on can i tell you he's the rock you can rest your life on you can rest your life on the rock the bible said he's a rock in a weary land if you don't know much about bible customs you don't know what that means when it says he's a rock in a weary land how they had mile markers in the old testament was they would stack up some rocks you could walk for a few days but if you could you you were looking for two rocks stacked on each other or three rocks or a rock but when you came to that rock you were overwhelmed with joy and you said we're going the right direction how do you know papa that we're going the right direction because right there is the rock can i tell you this morning he's a rock in a weary land you don't need to look for anything else in your life i've tried religion and i got burnt out on it that's the problem you tried religion try the rock you can rest your life on the rock no blood like his blood no name like his name he's a real god and he's as close as the mention of his name why if you'll begin to praise him right now if you'll begin to open your mouth right now and you'll begin to say the name of jesus and you'll believe that there's power in the name of jesus i'm telling you something will begin to move deep down in your soul something about the name have jesus musicians would you come something about the name of jesus so after the battle moses says to joshua joshua would come here for a moment he said down there when you were in the thick of the battle and you begin to get pushed back yeah i noticed that moses it was because i was trying to do it by myself i was thinking after all i went down to egypt by myself after all i led egypt out or i led israel out of bondage by myself but you see joshua this is a new day and i understand that i've got to have support now please this morning i take nothing away from the deity of jesus christ but jesus christ is like moses today he needs a support group that's why we are in the bible referred to as the body of christ we are his hands we are his feet we are his voice we are his eyes today i don't need to pray oh lord i there's a brother here that needs encouragement god would you encourage him that might be a prayer but god says back to me well why don't you just walk right over there why don't you just walk right over there and put your hand on his shoulder and say brother the lord loves you brother the lord has something for you brother the lord the lord cares about you you see today jesus finds himself in the same thing that moses did yes i hung on the cross all by myself yes i shed my blood all by myself and yes i let my name be known all by myself but now i have birthed the church and i didn't birth the church for them to be like a museum that people come and see the perfect i birthed the church so that they could help win that battle that second battle of amalekite i birthed that church so that they would have a support group around me and mo aaron and her was that support group and joshua you lost when i didn't have support but when i had support that's why you won is it any strange wonder today church while the first thing the enemy tries to turn you against is your brothers and sisters you ever thought about that the very first thing that old enemy wants to do well so-and-so didn't shake my hand so and so didn't so and so didn't say this to me or say that to me they didn't recognize me they didn't they don't care that that enemy that's the first thing he begins to chisel away why because o amalek is just waiting for you to get in the back because there he just comes in and gets you and you have no moses you have no support group that second battle there's not a man woman boy or girl in this room today that is dismissed from this battle the first battle he brought you out all by himself but the second battle would you stand with me this morning the second battle the second battle is going to because you join together and say you know i may not be able to sing but i can hold moses hands up i may not have the talents but i can come in and be a support let me finish this scripture reading and pray for shea dodson's not in my family she's got some family here but she's not in my us four she's not in us for no more and i believe this with all my heart that what you sow is what you reap none of us have the assurance none of us are blanketed today cancer will never come to our house a phone call from a state trooper saying you need to come to the emergency room your son has been in an accident and please have someone drive you there that means that son has been killed none of us none of us today but can i tell you i sure have stepped to this pulpit at times and said let's pray for the so-and-so family they lost their child today you see you're gonna make it because you're a support group everybody ought to be a support and everybody ought to show support this morning and if you don't have something that's worthy if you don't have a need in your life right now that would merit you coming up around the altar would you help me right now would you bow your heads and would you begin to pray with me father in the name of jesus christ god lord you said in your word that we were to bear one another's burdens lord we were to bear the heartache of our brothers and sisters god right now i pray for every broken heart in this room god in the name of jesus god i open up this altar right now i open up this altar god to you right now lord for every empty-hearted person that's in this room every person god that is so full of is so full of hurt and so full of questions in life weary with living god maybe even have thought about and contemplating what's this life all about right her life with cancer right now i got problems none of them they don't compare when i start looking around the us's in the room oh my god oh precious god lord touch these needs today do you know that when i bear your burden i'm more like jesus christ at that moment because he was wounded for he was bruised for he bore i'm more like jesus christ so in closing today maybe some of you brother wilson maybe some of you could join me and say i don't have any problems to speak of today but boy i could point them out here i could point saints of god that are battling and got things going on in their
