great is the lord and greatly to be praised what a mighty god we serve isn't jesus worthy of all of our praise this morning is he worthy of all of our praise today isn't he a good god a mighty god a healing god a loving god a generous god are you glad that he forgave you are you glad that he raised you are you glad that goodness and mercy follow you god's hand is upon you and god's hand is under you and god's all around you if you have your bibles this morning first kings chapter 19 verse number one through three then the book of job chapter number three and verse 25. i wish i could just call every guest that's here today every first time guest and every returning guest and i wish i could call you each by name but the truth of the matter is there's two reasons number number one time time and number two number two i would for sure forget somebody and uh when you have as few friends as i have you can't afford to lose any all right so uh i just say thank you thank you so much for coming to the house of the lord this morning first kings chapter 19 and verse number one and ahab told jezebel all that elijah had done and with all how he had slain all the prophets with the sword then jezebel sent a messenger unto elijah saying so let the gods do to me and more also if i make not thy life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time and when he saw that i wanna i'm gonna say that again because i'm gonna preach about my whole sermons on this note here and when he saw that he arose and went for his life and came to beersheba which belongeth to judah and left his servant there job chapter 3 verse 25 job has lost his health job has lost his wealth and job is hanging on to his faith in god he simply cries out after surveying all of the loss of children and wealth and health job says these words for the thing which i greatly feared is come upon me and that which i was afraid of is come unto me may take me a few minutes to make sense of my title but i want to preach today on visualizing the voice of your enemy visualizing visualizing the voice of your enemy lord jesus this morning your word is a ken is a compass lord today your word is a hammer lord today your word is a light god we stand as your children and we wait to hear from your word to lead us and to guide us lord there's those that are here today that are lost there's those that are here today that have lost their way there are those that are here today whose faith is being challenged lord jesus would you use me the next few moments that i may deposit a divine word into the minds and spirits of people today lord if you will anoint me i'll be ever so mindful to give you the praise and the honor and the glory in jesus wonderful name we pray amen and amen you may be seated this morning visualizing the voice of your enemy allow me a few moments to set the background for this israel had sinned god's people had sinned and they had sinned because they were listening to the wrong voices they were listening to the wrong voices they were listening to jezebel's false prophets they were listening to the voices of false prophets now i want you to know something this morning that sometimes we only think of false prophets when it has to do with doctrine but can i tell you a false prophet can simply be someone who tells you something that is not truthful something that's not the truth israel had been the product of at least 850 false prophets of jezebel the land was filled with these false prophets that were that were prophesying lies over israel the lies were that they could serve other gods and that other gods could give answers and other gods one of the gods was baal bale uh had many kind of uh offshoots of baal but one of the offshoots of baal was that baal was the god of rain baal was the god that could bring rain upon the land and so god wanting to wake up his people aren't you glad that god is not in the burying of his people but god is in the waking up of his people he wants to wake israel up he doesn't want to do away with israel he wants to he wants to wake israel up and so one way that god woke israel up was that he cut the water off he cut the rain off for three and a half years now you talk about a severe drought we have nothing to talk about right now it was a severe drought for three and a half years as a matter of fact to validate it wasn't a fluke of nature to validate it wasn't just some kind of a happen chance it was elijah that told the king thus saith the lord by my word there'll be no rain and so for three and a half years things went from bad to worse and finally elijah becomes the public enemy number one and somehow ahab in his twisted mind believes that if he can kill elijah that that that'll bring back the reign and after three and a half years god says to elijah he says just go show yourself to ahab and i will cause it to rain just go up here in the presence of ahab and of course ahab had been looking for elijah and couldn't find him because god had him hid and finally elijah stepped out in the open and he told ahab i'm here ahab made a statement to it shows you how twisted his mind is ahab looks at elijah and says you're the one that has troubled this nation the man of god elijah said i have not troubled the nation but you and jezebel your wicked godless ways have troubled this nation then he told ahab he said he said let's have a contest if god be god serve god but it may obey god let's serve baal nobody said a word that day he said well let me put it another way he said why don't you bring us two bullocks these calves would you bring us two calves and the worshipers of baal take one calf and i'll take another calf you lay your calf up on the altar to bell and you call upon the name of baal and the god that answers by fire he'll be god well they said that is well spoken and that is what we will do and elijah said why don't you all go first i will let you go first you go ahead so they built an altar they cut the animal in pieces and they started early that morning calling upon bail they called upon the name of bell from morning to the noon time baal still didn't answer on the noon time they stood up upon the altar and started leaping upon the altar bell didn't answer elijah was a little cantankerous and so he kind of chatted in on them and told them that they ought to cry a little louder maybe their god bale was on a vacation and needed to come back or he said why don't you cry just a little louder maybe your your god bell is asleep and he needs to be awakened and when the leaping on the altar didn't work they took out little razor blades and began to cut themselves and bleed and still there was no answer from baal they they asked baal to send rain from the morning all the way to the evening sacrifice and at the end of the evening sacrifice elijah stepped forward repaired the altar of the lord cut the bullock in pieces but now he don't only kept the bullock in pieces he asked them that they would dig a trench around the altar he said would you dig a trench around the altar and they dug a trench around the altar and then he said i want you to take 12 barrels of water 12 barrels of water and completely i mean 12 barrels of water not only soaked the bullock it not only soaked the wood but the water was such that it filled up the the the the trough it filled up the trench that was around the altar elijah steps out clears his throat i added that part he steps out clears his throat and he prays a 58-word prayer 58 words he prays and at the end of the 58th word the heavens cracked open and fire from god came and consumed watch out did it consume the sacrifice consumed the wood consumed the stones and if god had a big tongue it just licked up all of the water in the trenches and the fire went back to heaven well all 850 all all the work all the israel they fell down on their faces and they said the lord he is god the lord he is god and then elijah did something very wise he said you are making a profession of faith but we must work on silencing the voices of the false prophets it is no good to have a resurrection of your faith if you allow the voices of the enemy to still be alive if you allow these false voices to still speak and so elijah ordered the death of all of 850 false prophets and false prophets that served jezebel's table jezebel is ahab's wife they're extremely wicked people so all 850 of them all 850 of them israel took down to the brook of kishon and there at the brook of kishon israel took a knife and separated and and killed all of these lying you know i could stop you you all you all know i could just stop and preach at every angle you know we need to kill the voices of the false prophets in our lives we need to kill these voices in our lives because at the moment at the moment that the 850 false prophets died elijah said i hear the sound of the abundance of rain see it's very possible that you're hearing the directions that god wants for your future but you can't hear it clearly because there's 850 false prophets that continue to want to cause static in your life but if when when they got finished killing all the 850 prophets like a bird dog in a field elijah's ears perked up and he said i hear the sound of the abundance of rain i i hear rain coming i i hear the sound of rain coming and he went to the top of a mountain he went to the top of a mountain there he got in a prayer a position and he began to pray he said a young servant boy not once not twice but eight times to look out over the sea and at the eighth time the young man came back and he said i see a cloud i see a small cloud resembles a man's hand out over the sea elijah turns around and he tells ahab he says you better get down off of this mountain because you're riding in a chariot the roads are filled with dust but just as sure as the rains come you're going to mire up your chariot in the mud you better get off top of this mountain and you better get back to jezreel that was miles away but the bible says that elijah girded up his loins and the hand of the lord fell upon him the hand of the lord fell upon him and he outran a chariot to the gateway of jezreel he outright i just like to see that i think that's going to be one of the videos i get to have and i may request lord let me see that i'd love to see oh ahab just beating them them black stallions just riding as hard as he can just beating and i'd like it maybe maybe maybe ahab's got a rear view mirror on his chariot and he looks in his rearview mirror and here comes elijah just a truck in it man i mean i mean this beard flapping in the wind and elijah puts his blinker on and just goes around ahab and he beats him to the i just like to see that the bible says it happened maybe the mirror part but the bible says he did outrun he did outrun the horses when he gets to jezreel and it's party time i mean people are dancing in the street little kids or little kids are taking cups down to the gutters and filling the water up i mean they're dancing in the street it's just a it's just a festive time until ahab goes home and ahab tells jezebel hey jesse i got news for you false prophets ain't coming to dinner tonight these false prophets that get your wicked works done in israel they're not coming to dinner what do you mean they're not coming to dinner i'm telling you all 850 are dead fire came down rain has come down it's god they're all dead it's interesting here because i think this is a a plot of the devil jezebel represents the devil the bible tells us that when jezebel heard this look at verse two again jezebel sent a messenger a messenger jezebel sent a messenger and the messenger simply knocked on elijah's door in the midst of celebration you ever noticed have you ever noticed something how the enemy always wants to attack either right before or right during or right after victory she sends a messenger to the door kids are splashing in the streets people are worshiping god she sends a messenger and the messenger simply says so let the gods do to me so let the gods do to me and more also if i make not thy life as one of them by tomorrow about this time knock on the door you talk about a bona fide turbo party pooper hey i got a message from jesse what is it tomorrow you're going to be dead you're dying tomorrow and the clock starts now now you think about this for a moment how the enemy and this is one of those stories in the bible that you kind of have to get in the spirit to understand and then you have to kind of use the flesh but you do realize that elijah is very you know even though even though we can have the spirit come down on us and god uses us you know after the spirit lifts we still live in a fleshly body when the lord moves and we worship him in a demonstrative way for a half hour or so felt good while he was while he was his hand was upon us but you know something when that half hour lets up i'm a little winded so are you were you in the flesh yes as far as i know that's all i got to worship in my flesh all right my flesh so now i guess to understand this you've got to understand he's stood at an altar all day long and watched a bunch of bell worshipers not get an answer done he's outrun a chariot some 20 miles so he's a little bit fatigued can i tell you that the devil is a master at knowing not only how to attack you but when to attack you that makes sense not only how to attack you but he knows when to attack you the messenger said you're dead within 24 hours but look at verse 3 with me closely again it was a messenger right it was a messenger someone spoke it to him right but verse 3 is kind of interesting to me it says and when he saw that and when he saw that why didn't it say and when he heard that i'll tell you why it doesn't say he heard it and he says he saw it because fear causes us to visualize what our enemy is saying fear causes us to in our minds begin to see it with living color when the messenger said you're dead within 24 hours just like the false prophets that you beheaded in the brook kishan all of a sudden fear kicked in and the same man that had the hand of god upon this same man allowed fear to begin to rule church let's fight fear this morning let's not allow fear to rule and reign in our lives let's allow faith in the almighty god to reign and rule in our lives i know dark days are coming but he's the god of a dark day i know i know sick times may come but he's the god of the sick table i i know all kinds of uncertainty may come but he's the god of certainty in the time of uncertainty come on let's give him some praise this morning how do we ever enjoy life how do we ever enjoy life if we live it in fear we all hear about job's wealth and prosperity and we hear about job being the wealthiest man and all that but verse chapter 3 verse 25 of job kind of tells you all of his life all of his life job said for the thing which i greatly feared has come upon me in other words he had visualized one day losing all of his wealth he had visualized one day thieves coming and stealing his camels he had visualized one day all of these things can i tell you that fear and faith cannot rule your mind at the same time we are either going to be ruled by faith or we're going to be ruled by fear you see fear is a type of faith you fear something long enough you visualize it long enough and sooner or later it'll come to your door you see it by the eye of faith and believe it sooner or later you'll hold it fear is the same he's the same way when he saw that he arose and went for his life and came to beersheba 80 miles i don't know how many days it took him when he saw that now remember the first thing i want to say here today the first thing i want to say here today is what jezebel wanted to do was remove the voice of truth from the scene of the miracle you see if she can remove elijah from the place of the rain then that old wicked jezebel can step out there and somehow once again convince the people baal caused it to rain bell was the one and there's no elijah there to say that's a lie there's no elijah there to say that's not how that happened if she can run elijah out of his god-given place i'm going to say that again because that's what fear does is to drive us out of the place where the miracle happened you see god never told god never told elijah to go to jez god never told elijah to go to bathsheba 80 miles away he got up and went to besheba on his own but the bible does say that the hand of the lord brought elijah to jezreel can i say this today don't allow faith or fear to remove you from the place that god's hand has brought you to don't allow fear to move you out if you know that god touched you stand flat-footed and say i'll stand here i don't care what the enemy is saying here god has brought me to this place can we praise him this morning could everybody just lift up your hands right now fear don't visualize the voice of your enemy 80 miles from jezreel to beersheba the bible said the hand of the lord was upon elijah the hand of the lord took him to jezreel make sure that you don't allow no make sure that you don't allow fear to remove you from the place the hand of the lord has placed you at fear so fear he visualized it what a mistake he visualized it the same god that could bring fire down from heaven he visualized jezebel killing him the same god that sent rain he visualized this because he visualized it he ran 80 miles to the furthest southern region of israel and there he got under a tree and requested that he would die oh god just go ahead and kill me god just let my life just let my life in let me stop there for a moment if we allow fear to move us from the place that god has brought us to and i'm not just talking about a location i'm talking about a spiritual condition you should never fear losing out with god don't ever fear that because as long as you want to be kept you can be kept if you want to live for god you are going to walk on streets of gold there is no devil in hell there's not enough devils in hell that can take you out of the hand of the one that you want to be kept in but if i allow fear to begin to rule my mind i lose my worship i'm not somewhere to give glory to god you see when elijah ran 80 miles to beersheba oh jezebel stepped out there and started singing her false prophets baal caused it to reign it was male that did all this stop worshiping jehovah he didn't do this and there was nobody there to give god glory you and i ought to live our lives to stay where we're at spiritually so that we can give god the glory no devil is gonna triumph over my tombstone no enemy is going to triumph over my spiritual life it's going to get rough at times it's going to get bumpy at times welcome to life but i'm going to stay right in the place of where the miracle happened so that i can give glory to god i am certainly not into thanking the devil but i am appreciative for a fitbit piece of information the devil gave us concerning job it goes something like this god says to satan have you considered my servant job there's none like him in all the land oh yes god satan says i have considered him but you have a hedge around him you have a hedge all around him i i've come to the hedge but that's as far as i can go i have come to this hedge but that's just as far as i can go aren't you thankful today that god if your mind is filled with faith in a god that can do exceedingly and abundantly and above all that you can ask and or think aren't you thankful today that there is a spiritual hedge around you that the enemy tries to come i i i love to get his joy but i got joy that you didn't give to me and i got joy that you can't take away i got some i got some things that didn't come from the other side of the hedge i got some things that come to this side i like that i like that lee greenwood song if tomorrow i'd wake up and everything i've got's been taken away from me i would thank god for my family my wife can i tell you something everything you can see in your life this building and i think this this building's wonderful but this building one day could suffer a earthquake this building one day could suffer a fire this building one day could suffer being demolished my faith is not in this building my faith is not in this building oh i thank god the last physical i got i'm as healthy they tell me i had the heart of an athlete i thank god for a healthy body but if tomorrow i'd get a report that i'm eat up with cancer can i tell you something that what i got inside of me my mama and daddy didn't give me god gave me eternal life i thank god for it today come on i'm glad i'm glad for that hedge around us well so bill carpenter the devil the devil i feel like he's attacking me one of two things either you've got your hedge clippers out and you got on the other side of the hedge or god you check on that you can check on to see if you're in the hedges or not for god has given the devil permission to come and try you but do you know something after you've searched your heart after you've searched your mind oh god i'm in this trouble right now god if i've sinned of course i just got a prayer that i pray god if i've said anything i shouldn't say god if i should have said something and didn't say it god if i thought any thoughts i shouldn't thank god god search my heart know my ways see if there be any wicked way in me creating me a clean heart and renew within me the right spirit and that the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable unto thee o god have you repented of your sins and and the boat's still rocking then you've got to understand that god trusts you enough to allow the devil to get over in the field god had enough confidence in job god knew job and god said i got enough confidence in old job he may walk waffle a little bit but at the end of the day job will say the lord hath given and the lord had taken away but blessed be the name hey i wonder if god trusts you enough to let the devil get over in there would you please remember that you cannot have a testimony without a test and that a testimony is not moaning's about your testings you can't have a testimony unless you got a test when he saw that he visualized it he saw his head being severed from his body he watched in his mind fear caused him to panic fear caused him to run 80 miles on something on something that hadn't happened you ever notice most fear deals with things that haven't happened i just fear being laid off are you working i think i'd learn how to thank god when i got a job and pray about one when i don't i sphere one day being sick i just feel you know cancer runs in our family and heartache heart disease i get it i get it i understand it i get it but why live in fear why don't you live in thankfulness god i thank you for this job god i thank you i woke up this morning as far as i know i'm as healthy as a horse god i i just thank you i got breath in my body psalm 60 excuse me psalms 46 and verse number one psalms 46 and verse number one to the chief musician for the sons of korah a song upon alamoth now this is a song that is written but i really need you give me a couple amens this morning but but have you ever noticed something that songs mean something more when you've been through something i mean as long as your pocketbook's big and fat you can stand and say my god is more than enough he can supply all my knees he and my elf shadow but when that thing is as thin as a piece of paper you're saying my god is more than enough you ever notice that when you're going through something a song just means a whole lot more to you you seem to come to church and want to hang on every word lord i don't know if i'm going to make it tomorrow but you come to church and somebody starts singing because he lives i can face tomorrow come on stop visualizing your enemy's voice well i sure hope y'all aren't thinking i got up this morning come to church to hear this verse 46 one god is some i say is god is our refuge and strength a very present help in trouble therefore we will not fear though though though god is that's a fact though the earth be removed that's a possibility though the earth be moved though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea though the waters thereof roar and be troubled though the mountain shake was swelling thereof sila he lists two verses of possibilities and he says we don't fear these possibilities because it's sandwiched in between god is god is greater than the possibility of disaster god is greater than the possibility of fuel being ten dollars a gallon god is greater than the possibilities of the government taking over god is greater than anything that can go on inside of my body i wish somebody would say god is i feel my helper coming on this morning i said i feel my helper coming on this morning feel my helper coming on today you know we live in a world of possibilities and if mother tharp is watching this morning i hope she forgives me for this but her property backs up to the church on thursday the blunt county swat team and i may not be saying it the right way but the swat team they got a tank looking thing and police cars they come out to show the daycare children the dogs that they've got and uh to let them look up in that tank that swat looking tank and and i drove around matter of fact i was in here praying i walked over my office i saw that big tank go by and i said look at here now let me go see what this is man so i went over there and they pulled up there was police cars blunt county uh cars here and they took all the daycare children out the teachers did in a very orderly fashion and they lined them up on the sidewalks and them officers had them dogs and they was walking them up and down them in children and then they line them children up let them look up in that swat tank mobile whatever they had now all mother farp knows that she's got up and got her morning coffee and she called the house and she said brother carpenter what in the world's going on at the church said it looks like they're putting our babies in this tank it looks like they're arrested my god are they arresting all of our kids i said no mother thorpe no mother though the earth be moved though the mountains be carried away verse three though the waters thereof roar and be troubled though the mountain shake was swelling thereof selah there is a river not though there be a river there is a river you know why there is a river is because two verses before there is a god in between what might happen is a god and a river you hear me this morning brother perry in between what might happen is a god and a resource don't give the visualization to what the enemy says you ought to be praising god right now you ought to be thanking god right now though though though though all fear wants to do is move you off the foundation that you can give glory to god to that's all fear wants to do jezebel knows as long as elijah is alive in jezreel i'll never convince israel that baal sent the reign but if i can remove elijah i can step out on the scene and tell that family any lie i want to some of you are the kingpin you're the king you're the lynch you're the kingpin in your family nobody else in your family serves god like you do that's why fear tries to separate you because if fear can get you if jezebel can get you out of the way the devil can step in and pump any old doctrine into your family your wife your children your cousins your brothers your sisters that's why you got to stay in jezreel don't allow the enemy to visualize being defeated your daughter needs you to stay there your children need you to stay there by the eddie your family needs you to stay there brother christian your family needs you to stay there sister patterson your family needs you to stay acts chapter 20 acts chapter 20 verse number 29 listen to paul follow it closely acts chapter 20 verse number 29 paul says for i know this that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you not sparing the flock could you dissect this verse with me paul said the wolves can't come as long as i'm here as long as i'm here the wolves can't come but let me depart and the wolves will come very simple isn't it if you don't want the wolves in your family stay where god has you if you don't want the spirit of perverse and running rampant through your family stay right where god has got you at don't allow fear to separate your mind don't allow fear to tell you are you going to waste your life in this apostolic church just stand right where you're at because as long as you're here that's why we got to keep on praising if we don't praise him the wolves are coming that's why we got to keep on coming to church if we don't come to church the wolves the wolves the wolves are coming stay where you're at stay where you're at i wish you turn around tell somebody around you i'm gonna stay where i'm at i gotta i gotta stay where i'm at because the wolves my god have mercy come on sweet holy ghost mighty god of heaven not a god of heaven and praise you i worship you i magnify you i glorify you i give you praise i give you honor i give you glory first chronicles chapter 16 verse 24 declare his glory among the heathen his marvelous works among all nations heathen means a foreign people can i tell you we gotta keep on declaring the glory of god to people that our worship looks foreign if i don't do if i don't do it they don't get the glory they can't understand how great a god is if i don't declare his glory let me land this sermon some of you may say it never took off let me land it voices voices voices voices that want us to visualize false prophets things though they would be voices nehemiah built a wall that protected israel israel was a reproach a city without a wall is no city put a wall around the city brother perdue that gives it some validity build a wall around it that gives it some respectability with no wall around jerusalem you are a laughingstock you are no city you're a laughingstock nehemiah went back and in nehemiah chapter 4 verse number 2 and he spake before his brethren and the army of samaria this is the enemy listen to the enemy this is the spirit of jezebel and said what do these feeble jews will they fortify themselves will they sacrifice will they make an end in a day will they revive stones out of the heaps of rubbish which are burned now tobiah the ammonite was by him and he said even that which they build if a fox go up he shall even break down their stone wall now did you do you hear here these nehemiah brother salinas nehemiah and the people of god they're working feverishly pick up the rocks get the beams up let's let's work with the rubbish here that's a broken piece of stone let's let's work with the rubbish they were working fiercely to get the walls up and here come the enemy look at these feeble jews what are they reviving out of the rubbish look at the material they got to work with they don't have nice cut stones look at the rubbish will they revive the rubbish now they're trying to build you see why you're trying to build the enemies trying to get you to visualize what you're doing is no good and then he said look at that wobbly wall they got a little wobbly wall even if a fox if a fox trotted on the top of the wall a fox would bring it down listen to nehemiah here oh our god for we are despised turn their reproach upon their own head and give them for a prey in the land of captivity he said god you listen don't take it personal please don't take it personal when the enemy comes it ain't about you it's about the faith you represent oh the enemy's trying to kill me no he's trying to kill the faith you're carrying to a lost and dying community if he can kill you he kills the faith so don't take it personal when they're talking about you turn it over to god god do you hear what they're saying god do you hear what they're saying god and turn listen god will take care of your enemy just turn it over to him don't stop building don't stop praising don't stop coming to the altar don't stop coming to church don't stop giving don't stop believing just keep on building there's only two times in the king james version the word fox is mentioned now i know it's mentioning fox's as in plural it's only mentioned twice one by tobiah enemies of god then in luke 13 verse 31 somebody say praise god the same day there came certain of the pharisees saying unto him get thee out and depart hence for herod will kill you he's doing miracles he's working the work of god he's doing the work of god and these pharisees come up and said you need to leave here sound like elijah you didn't leave here go somewhere else going to kill you jesus said unto them go ye and tell that fox i'm tired of the intimidated possibilities of the fox you go tell that fox behold i cast out devils and i do cures today and tomorrow and the third day i shall be perfected nevertheless i must walk today and tomorrow and the day following for it cannot be that a prophet perished out of jerusalem you go tell that fox i'm staying rock oh my god hallelujah you go tell that fox we're going to keep on having church we're going to keep on baptizing we're going to keep on seeing the holy you go i need some brother to help me praise him right now i need somebody to help me praise him right now you may be seated oh lord musicians come i get carried away come on quickly don't go outside just come straight to the altar you need to repent as you walk through come on just come down come straight down this one come straight ain't you tired of listening to those voices you're tired of visualizing letting the enemy just keep you up all night long this is going to happen and that is going to happen this is going to happen because all the devil's trying to do is if he can take your rest if he can take your sleep if you can if he can take you he'll weigh you down emotionally until one day you'll lay under a juniper tree until god god i'm the only one it's over it's curtains you don't have an israel anymore god god they all hate you god didn't want to kill me god says you get up but notice two things that god let him do he let him rest and let him eat two meals he went to a cave the bible said that god came by the front of that cave with a fire a wind it would bust rocks fire but god was not in the fire and god was not in the wind and all of a sudden he heard a steel i think he leadeth me beside the oh it's somebody if they've been diagnosed with depression or been diagnosed with oppression or just diagnosed with a mental disorder and there's nothing there's not one thing to be ashamed about today if you have some infirmity in your mind you cannot help having an infirmity in your mind a bit more than you can help having a heart disease or a bit more you can help having some kind of disease in your muscle sometimes we're so afraid we're so afraid to confess that we're battling with depression are we battling with oppression we're battling with thoughts but but yet it's now in the house of god that somebody would lay their hand over on the neighbor beside you and you would begin to pray and i pray right now i pray for healing over anyone that is suffering with depression i pray for healing i pray for healing in their mind i pray for healing god in their brain right now lord knows that that that chemical imbalance that's causing them the air and sadness in the name of jesus today let babysitting their six-year-old nephew and it was on a sunday he was staying at the house with them between services and he joel osteen said he said we got busy said i got busy my wife got busy my wife thought i was bringing him to church i thought my wife was bringing him to church and said right in the middle of church service i looked over my wife and i said you did bring i'm gonna make up his name you did bring joy to church she said no y'all i thought you brought i didn't bring him and it both dawned on him they'd left him at home all by himself they they i heard somebody say home alone i know they said they drove there as fast as it could i think maybe 20 minutes and said the little old nephew was just sitting at the front door he wasn't crying he wasn't one bit upset he said i knew you forgot me but said i knew you would remember me you know sometimes we might feel forgotten but i'm glad god always remembers us so you might be in that forgotten state but keep sitting at the door
