if you have your bibles and would stand with me for a moment i don't know if they're going to be getting the scripture on the screen we've had some uh technical difficulties tonight with uh with our screen so uh anything that's um anything that man makes it can fail uh but i am glad i am glad uh for the word of god and so it may be on the screen if not genesis chapter 1 and verse number 27 genesis chapter 1 and verse number 27 so god created man in his own image in the image of god created he him male and female created he them a lot of things change with culture but there's one thing that doesn't change with culture and that's nature all right nature doesn't doesn't change the sun is still coming up and going down dogs are still barking cows are still moving fish are still swimming because of nature their creator i'm just going to talk to you from my heart you know a lot of people i i really feel sorry for them they feel like they haven't been to church brother jeter if there's not been some great and god knows we love to shout i love i love all that but there's got to be a balance in your life some people come to church to get something on them when they ought to be coming to church and get something in them all right you get something on you and you're going to wear by the time morning light comes but get something in you tonight we'll have those services where you get something on you but if you don't get something in you i want to put something in you tonight all right father i love you i thank you god for the privilege to speak to these men god you know as well as i do that hell fights them you know god as well as i do that hell would have no greater joy than to take the male voice out of this church and have no greater joy than to take spiritual leadership out of this church god i thank you tonight for these men i ask you god to anoint me give me the liberty and help me lord to communicate with them tonight jesus name we pray amen amen you may be seated what god desires to have on this earth as a representative as a representation of himself what god desires to have on this earth as a representation of himself is a christian man and a christian woman forming a christian marriage if you want to know what god desires god desires for there to be christian men and christian women who form christian marriages i'm going to read to you for just a few moments and just try to hang with me as i read i have a book that is very valuable to me it's a book the title simply is well well versed well versed biblical answers to today's tough issues by a man by the name of james l garlow and i think that he just does a superb job at gathering the information about issues that the church is facing today in this godless culture that we live in was it not peter's closing words at pentecost after he told him about repenting and getting baptized and talking in tongues he then gave a short little admonition save yourselves from this untoward generation untoward just simply means a generation not going toward god it's just a it's an untoward it's a bent perverted generation james garlow writes why should we care about marriage what is the foundation of marriage and why is marriage such a big deal to god it's important to know at the start of the bible get ahold of this now at the start of the bible it opens in genesis with a marriage between a man and a woman and closes in revelation with a wedding between a groom and a bride the bible extols one man one woman marriage in between both of the old testament and the new testament nowhere is there any affirmation of homosexual marriage or of homosexual acts in fact the consistent teaching throughout scripture is one man one woman covenant marriage always always the full image of god and you just have to just just let me read it before you maybe jump to conclusions the full image of god is neither male nor female the old testament writers use gender specific metaphors to describe the indescribable sometimes the words used to describe god are distinctly masculine most obviously the usage of father or he at other times phrases used to depict god are feminine terms like he is a breast feeding nurse a mother giving birth in labor or a mother hen but the fact is god is neither a he or nor a she nor is god some genderless middle ground in genesis 17 1 god's name in the hebrew phrase is el shaddai it is believed that e-l means mighty like a mountain thus the strength of masculinity shady i likely comes from the hebrew word for breast such as a breast feeding such as feeding a newborn baby thus the nurturing feminine characteristic that single name for god includes the full spectrum of masculinity and femininity we are made in his image however a male alone cannot fully represent all of the descriptors of the image of god for example a male by himself cannot manifest the full spectrum of god's features historically associated with femininity tenderness thus no husband can represent the full image of god at the same time a female alone cannot do justice to his image either due to the lack of classic masculine strength in spite of the fact that we are created by god individually we express the fullest image of god only when the two halves of humanity complement each other and become one and become one adam the man versus adam as humankind let's go deeper into the hebrew language of genesis the traditional view of human creation is that of god is that god created adam put him to sleep took a rib and created eve but the old testament was originally written in hebrew not english is the hebrew text saying that god created adam a male and then created eve a female from adam's rib i think there is more pro there is more profound in the hebrew old testament that reveals a deeper understanding of the genesis account in the beginning god created not adam the male but adam that is human kind don't picture adam the male the word adam pronounce adam means humankind or personhood it is later that adam is the name of a male but initially god created adam a small a that is humankind after creating humankind god said it is not good for adam humankind to be alone this was not a case of god creating a male and then saying it is not good that a male is alone so i will make a female that is not what happened i suggest a more correct reading of the hebrew would be it is not good for humankind to be at one let's not miss the point god made humankind then he said it is not good for humankind to be at one or one or to live in solitude here we have the splitting of the adam so to speak as adam or humankind get split apart we end up with male and female but what about the proverbial rib the word rib does not appear in the ancient hebrew text the word that is there is tesla what is tesla it can be translated half or side don't miss the significance of this next sentence instead of god creating adam and taking his rib to create eve the text says that god created humankind observing was and observed it was not good for humankind to be won or alone and then took a side or a half of humankind and created a female eve what remained was a male adam in other words the whole humanity that was created in the full image of god with both the strength of masculinity and the tenderness of femininity is now the two complementary halves of humanity male and female one of the reasons for the strong sexual attraction of males and females to each other is the desire for the two halves of humanity to come back together undoing the splitting of the atom and reuniting the male and females as halves to make a whole now reflecting the full image of god now understand this tonight we are not being attacked for our baptism in jesus name and we are not being attacked because we talk in tongues but persecution is going to come to the church because of the biblical view that we hold about a man and a woman they're not going to come after us and try to shut us up because we talk in tongues it's going to be that what i'm doing tonight is going to be somehow presented as a hate crime somehow inciting people to hate homosexuals or to hate lesbians to hate these different there's all kind of different acronyms and all all of that tonight but i think you know what i'm i think you know what i'm talking about so in order for us to withstand persecution brother perry we have to know why we do what we do this male and female is not some cultural traditional john boy mountain walton's tv show it is as old as creation itself it is it old as creation itself now let me go back to reading but let's take this exciting concept one step further ish i-s-h and i-s-h-a-a ish and i say yad and and hey the hebrew word from man is ish i s h the hebrew word for woman is ishai i s h a h pronounce aisha or isha here is the difference between ish and aisha man and woman in the hebrew language there is one letter in ish man that is not in an i say woman and that is the hebrew letter yad in the hebrew word for the woman i say there is one hebrew letter that is not in ish man and that hebrew letter is yahd or is hey yah way forms the word or these two form the word yahweh the full name of god this is the full name of god you 6000 eight hundred times in the old testament in other words when you put ish man and i say woman together you have yah way the expression of the full image of god even the hebrew words from man and woman depict this breathtaking construct let's be clear two men do not have the image of god two women do not have the image of god only a man and a woman in a covenant join together offer that spectacular and image of the full image of god now i think we got something great going on this month of february here we men are in this room asking god to open our eyes to our role that we play in the marriage asking god to help us to understand what is my job description what what is my role as a male in this relationship while right now your wives and your daughters your wives and your daughters are upstairs in the youth sanctuary listening to first lady give an in-depth bible study on the role that the woman plays in the marriage we can't help to have a healthy church with what's going on here in this room turn with me to the book of ephesians the book of ephesians chapter number five and the ephesians the book of ephesians was written to bring unity to the church at ephesus and i want to read one verse and then i'm going to go back up and we're going to read several but i want you to know why that this in ephesians 5 is here all that i'm going to read to you from ephesians 5. ephesians 5 32 tell why paul says this is a great mystery but i speak concerning christ and the church now let me tell you paul is about to write about the relationship of the husband and the wife but he'll i want to go ahead and bring you verse 32 and tell you that what paul is really wanting to bring to the surface is the relationship between christ husband and the church wife and so for that we will go back up we will go back up to verse number 21 submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of god wives submit yourselves unto your own husbands as unto the lord for the husband is the head of the wife even as christ is the head of the church and he is the savior of the body so as being the head of my wife i have the responsibility of having a plan for my family i have the responsibility of the spiritual direction for my family for the husband is the head of the wife even as christ is the head of the church no about you but christ had a good future plan didn't he's got a great future plan for us he had a great plan even as christ the church he is the savior of the body therefore as the church is subject unto christ let the wives be to their own husbands and everything husbands look watch this balance watch this balance husbands love your wives even as christ also loved the church and gave himself for it that he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of the water of the word that he might present it to himself a glorious church not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing but that it should be holy and without blemish so ought men to love their own wives as their own body he that loveth his wife loveth himself for no man ever yet hated his own flesh but nourishes and cherished it even as the lord the church for we are members of his body and of his flesh and of his bones for this cause shall a man leave his father and mother and shall be joined into his wife and they too shall be what one flesh this is a great mystery but i speak concerning christ i speak concerning christ and the church nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as him even as himself and the wives see that she reverence her husband now watch that beautiful job description of us men men what's our future plans for our family what's our vision for our family what's our hopes for our family and of course i hope i can answer for all you men we want our wives to be spiritual we want our li wives to love god we want our children to grow up and live for god serve god obey god's word and that's that's the plan that's the plan that's the ultimate that's the ultimate plan and whatever that takes if it takes prayer why are you praying because i have a plan for my family why are you doing this because i have a plan for my family and he comes all the way down and then you you understand that in the bible man added chapters and verses okay chapters and verses or not are not inspired by the writers that was later added to give us the ease of finding different verses and chapters so really you need to keep on reading verse 33 says nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as uh his wife even as himself and the wife see that she reverence her husband children obey your parents in the lord for this is right see we went right into another chapter but we don't break the subject because what our children need as never before is mom and dad to be right in their spiritual relationship we will give birth spiritually to healthy children if there is a voice of masculinity in that family and there is the voice of femininity in that family that our young sons gravitate toward the masculine of the father and that our daughters gravitate toward the femininity of their mother and they live with that and we can produce see god because god's ways are perfect god's ways are absolutely perfect and what a lot of children are in dire need of is not some peel to settle them down necessarily or some new structure to make them behave what would correct a lot of issues in the home today if dad would become the man that god wants him to become and mom would become the woman that god wants her to become and blended together that would that would create an atmosphere in that home children obey your parents in the lord for this is right honor thy father and mother which is the first commandment with promise that it may be well with thee and thou mayest live long on the earth children need to understand why they ought to obey and honor their parents at a young age at a young age we ought to indoctrinate them with the commandment that if you'll obey and honor your mother and father you'll live a long time it's a first commandment that's been given that's been given with promise that you may live long on the earth and you fathers provoke not your children to wrath but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the lord in other words fathers understand that you have the ability to either make your children your sons feel like they're doing something pleasing or you can frustrate them to to great wrath and then the next verse i'm going to stop right verse number five servants be obedient to them that are your masters according to flesh and it goes in from the family from the family mom and dad to the children to the workplace look at that mom and dad family children workplace there's a lot of things in our workplace today that could all be solved if there were order divine order god's order you see we are a living body of organs heart lungs liver all these organs in our bodies that produce a body that's functioning lungs breath heart beats with pushes the blood through our bodies the kidneys that filter we're living and breathing tonight because all these organs are working in concert together let one of the organs fail and it could lead to the death of the whole body you see the bible simply tells us that what's in this room and what's upstairs that we are the body of christ we are the body of christ the man with that that that that that that organ the woman with that organ and in the midst of that we create a living body but listen listen to pastor tonight because we have all of these spiritual organs in us there is of necessity that we be organized there has to be organized there has to be order the heart beats at just the right time the lungs breathe inhale and exhale all the things filter through thus it is we have to be organized if you ever want to really know if god is in something see how organized because organs will of necessity need to be organized we find this ever so true in first timothy chapter three verse number one let me just bear with just just bear my heart to you tonight i hope i can live long enough to always get all of you men to understand how privileged and blessed that you are to being to be in a church with spiritual biblical structure structure a family that the kid sets his own curfew tells his daddy to shut up i'll do what i want to do would you not admit that's out of order do we brother step is it great shock to us when we see the police pull up in that front of that home no it's out of order you've got a father that's either not stepping up or you've got some kind of disorder in that family well the same it is with a church we are a living organ but we have to be organized and there's this important thing called leadership this important thing called leadership and let me share with you that what my vision brother erickson for the church is is that every home would mirror the church the structure of leadership that we have at the church would be mirrored in the home because as goes the home so goes the church i'm not talking about a crowd crowd's not always a church i'm talking about a healthy functioning home needs to mirror a healthy functioning church with structure and we understand the structure paul in first timothy chapter three verse one everybody all right tonight all right how we doing doing all right all right paul in 1st timothy chapter 3 and verse 1 this is a true saying if a man desire the office of a bishop he desireth the good work said if a man wanted to be a pastor wanted to be a bishop he has desired a good work but yet desiring a good work is not enough in the old in the new testament structure you have to be qualified verse number two chapter 3. he says a bishop if a man desires the office of a bishop he desires a good work a bishop then must be blameless the husband of one wife vigilant sober of good behavior given to hospitality apt to teach so now paul says if you want to be that there are some qualifications you have to qualify your life you have to be in a structure the first thing you got to do you got to be blameless in other words you can't be living a certain way where the world can look at you and point horrible flaws out in your life because paul says that will take away from the gospel of jesus christ you can't have a man up there that people can can point to and say well i tell you what that man right there i saw him the other night behind the building with another man's wife that's not blameless or that man over there that man over there he uh he beat me out of that man up there preaching he beat me out of a bunch of money paul says you got to be blameless you got to be blameless said the husband of one wife now let me explain that for you jesus explains in matthew 19 9 he says i say unto you 19-9 i say unto you whosoever shall put away his wife except it be for fornication and shall marry another committeth adultery whosoever marrieth her that is put away or does commit adultery that word that upset there means if a man and i i do know many um well let me strike the word many i do know a few men that preach that found themselves in a very unfortunate position of having their wife to commit adultery fornication which adultery is a form of fornication sometimes people think that fornication is sex between two unmarried people well that is fornication but fornication is an umbrella word that covers pornography homo homosexuality is a form of form of fornication and that man found himself without without a wife due to her due to her committing adultery on on him and later he found a woman that was in the same condition either unmarried or in the same condition that he's in and they married and according to what jesus taught in matthew 19 9 except it be for fornication says the husband of one wife vigilant means he's got to have he's got to be a fighter he's got to be vigilant awake watchful sober of good behavior given to hospitality apt to teach not given to wine no striker not greed or not greedy a filthy luger that means he wants money but patient not a brawler but not covetous and and and look here the structure the structure he says the the man of god's got to be all these things and it's right it's right but he brings it all the way down and this is what i read all that to get here look at verse number seven or excuse me verse number five please for if a man know not how to rule his own house how shall he take care of the church of god you see that you see that with if a man doesn't know how to rule his own house if if he doesn't know how to rule his own house then paul says how would he know to rule the house of god you see my vision is our homes men our homes will become a mirror of the church just as in in structure and in leadership here we have men whose lives are blameless men who are not brawlers they're just not looking for a reason to go fight somebody they're not a brawler they're not like they're patient they're apt to teach they're given to hospitality paul says if a man doesn't know how to rule his own house what makes you think he could stand up and rule in the house of god so i want you to write i want you to in your mind make a middle note you should never choose a pastor because he's a good preacher and you should never choose a pastor because he told you some kind of prophetic word that's going to happen in your life before you go to following people that say thus saith the lord you better check out their home life you better check out what their home life looks like because if their home life is a mess there's too many people too many a lot of pleas in that we want to operate in the spirit we want to be spirit-led i just got to tell you everything that says thus saith the lord is not saying thus saith the lord check their home life out as a matter of fact not only check the home life get to know him a little bit get to know him just a little bit several years ago someone moved in the area here between i'll tell you give you a little hint where it's at it's in between five miles of here and 500 miles of here but where they were started where this person was starting a church at was just almost right beside a very dear faithful person and overnight just she was just so thrilled that this this church was right there and as any good pastor would do i didn't know the man that he went to that town because i didn't know him doesn't mean he's bad i just didn't i just didn't know i didn't know the man so i cautioned the woman i cautioned her please be very careful please be very careful making just just overnight i'm gonna i understand that you may one day want to want to go to that church i totally understand there but you need to give it a little time you need to see what he's made of you you don't even know what do you know what he preaches as far as holiness is concerned do you know anything about his life would you well nothing doing she didn't listen to her pastor her structure she listened to that structure jumped right into something that was not of god and eventually she lost her way with god so you see sometimes before you just want to believe somebody's thus saith the lord the lord told me this and lord folks brothers that's probably not a week goes by maybe not a day goes by somebody don't call me up i've got a word from the lord for you as a matter of fact years ago i i had i don't know what it was i had somebody call them they prefaced that i bid it hook line and sinker i bit into it hook line and sinker they said you have confidence in my walk with god yes i do yes i've got confidence in your walk with god so you'll understand if what i'm saying to you you'll you'll know that that god is speaking i said yes i'll believe that that god is speaking and now i later had to kind of go back on something and then the person said god spoke to me that you're to resign the miracle church and go back on the evangelistic field and god also spoke to me about who's supposed to come and take the church you still have to be kin to them but that's beside the point all right i said well i i'll have to pray about that i'll have to pray about that but you see if i would just have the the standard that some folks have if somebody says thus saith the lord well bill carpenter that man had two legs and two arms and two ears and a mouth and he said thus saith the lord he's got to be right he had a bible he had a bible a foot fit the church the home needs to mirror the church leadership that can that can come up to what paul is saying here don't don't don't judge don't don't don't follow him because he's a good preacher follow him because he's living a good life follow the person because you feel you have confidence i have confidence that man is that man is leading a good life now i know it's a little difficult for me to be preaching this because i'm preaching to myself but you know if the lord tarries i won't always be up here i won't always be a friend brother erickson and you'll be so thankful you'll be so thankful that people are gonna gonna come here not be not not because somebody can preach the pain off the walls and mike can preach the pain off the walls and hang a bunch of bad checks up down at the convenience store too for if a man know not how to rule his own house how shall he rule how shall it take care of the church of god not a novice lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil moreover he must have a good report of them which are without lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil likewise must the deacons be grave not double tongue not grit not given to much wine not greedy a filthy luger holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience and let these also first be proved then let them use the office of a deacon being found blameless even so must their wives be grave not slander sober faithful in all things let the deacons be the husbands of one wife ruling their children and their own houses well for they that have used the office of a deacon well purchased to themselves a good degree and great boldness in the faith which is in jesus christ and i want you to notice something here not one time did you hear an external piece of clothing mentioned what you hear mentioned here is so valuable it's called character if we can get our character taken care of our clothing will be the least of our problems but can i tell you tonight what you don't know that's going together like a hand in a glove which is the divine order of god as you're being taught tonight about character as the leader of the home your wife is in the student sanctuary and she's listening to an in-depth bible study on how a woman ought to adorn herself from her hair all the way down to the to to the soles of her feet because in the bible if we can put these two things together we are going to be a powerful witness in the last days of the church because you hear me now we're going to be persecuted we're going to be persecuted not because we believe in one god and we talk in tongues and baptize in jesus name and play our music and run our aisles we're going to be persecuted because we believe the bible definition that marriage is one man and one woman not two men and not two women but one man and one woman can i get an amen out of us tonight that is men men in the church men in the church i want us to strive to be as first chronicles 12 and 32 first chronicles 12 and 32. men i want us to strive for this verse here i want us to strive i'm not mixing any kool-aid up i'm not fleecing any of you for money i've not fleeced any of you for money i've not mixed up any kool-aid i've not tried to get us all to move to some jungle somewhere and established kennytown i'm not i've not done any i've not done anything like that all i've asked you to do is follow me as i follow jesus christ follow me as i follow jesus christ i he called me to preach his word i'm eat up from the time that i get up in the morning to the time that i lay my head to sleep i'm eat up with the call of god i want our families to be spiritually healthy i don't want the world to invade this church i want us to run a good race i want us to fight a good fight i want us to be the church that jesus christ desires to have men first chronicles 12 and 32 and the children of issachar which were men that had understandings of the times to know what israel ought to do the heads of them were 200 and of their brethren were and their brethren were at their commandment what are these men they knew what they ought to do they knew what they ought to do there's more requirement of you than just bringing a paycheck home there's more far more that you need to be concerned about your job isn't complete because you bring a paycheck that pay pays the mortgage puts food on the table and money for the kids and the wife it's far from being over do you know what you need to do i want to be an is a car i want to have understanding of the times i want to understand the times that we're living in chaos chaos is ruling and i'm not meaning i'm not meaning to get political and i'm not being political i just want to prove a good point it is never wrong it is never excuse me it is never right to publicly disrespect authority whether there's rot whether they're right or whether they're wrong there's a way there is a way that public authorities can be dealt with but and and again and again you can just take this away they're all and i did i cried when they stormed the capitol building i cried when they went into the halls i cried when they sat in the speaker's desk i cried when they defamed it that listen that's not right that's not right but you know what i also was very disgusted when the speaker of the house took the president's speech and ripped it up and throw it to the side so when that happened i thought why are you all crying about that when you should have been crying about that blatant act right or whether you whether you agree with the man or not he hold he held the office of the president of the united states whether you agreed with her or not she held a high office as speaker of the house it's never right the reason this world is in the shape it's in is that hell has attacked any form of structure structure is our best friend structure is the best thing you can have in your marriage the structure of going to the house of god like you're all so good to do the structure of prayer brothers you don't have to pray prayers that go for hours in your home you could turn the atmosphere of your home upside down if you just call your family at the end of the day let's all before we go to our bedrooms and go to bed let's all just gather around and have just a moment or two a prayer structure hell hates structure hell hates structure but the men of issachar had understanding of the times they knew they knew what israel ought to do look at first first chronicles 12 and 32. first chronicles 12 and 32. izakaya had understanding of the times first chronicles 12 and 30 excuse me 12 and 33 of zebulun such as went forth to battle expert in war with all instruments of war 50 000 which could keep rank they were not of a double heart can i tell you dads there may come and i you you may view this as old-fashioned but i still believe we ought to live it i believe that we ought to live with such a way in our homes that if our parental authority doesn't correct the misbehaving of our children that we ought to say i'm going to take you to the pastor and we're going to talk to the pastor about this and there ought to be a godly fear not a not a not a fear that he's going to hurt me but there ought to be a godly fear in our children that they would say no dad i think i can obey you no dad i think you see you are stronger when you're keeping rank with the pulpit with the spiritual leader you are you are stronger when your children oh may your children never hear you well i i'll just tell you i disagree with the pastor i listen the pastor i disagree with the pastor sometimes myself too all right but your children should never hear that fall from your lips if you've got a disagreement with pastor if you've got a disagreement with principal if you've got a disagreement with someone here in the church they should never know you have that disagreement you you ought to go through the proper channels and and get a private meeting and say pastor i simply don't know about this because the last thing you want to do have you ever been in a in a family or have you ever seen a family and this is the way we raised our kids if one of our kids came and asked me daddy can i go over to bethany's house tonight if mama had already told them no that was an automatic spanking because what would happen mama can i go to can i go to brandy's tonight can i go to bethany's tonight no we've got things going on tonight daddy can i go to brandy's can i go to bethany's tonight well sure i don't think there's anything wrong with that go ahead we just got a dinner plan go ahead yeah sure go ahead then all of a sudden here comes sister carpenter did you tell them and then we got a little bitty old girl looking up at us and we established it if you try to play us against each other not only are you not going to do this we're going to give you we're going to give you a spanking why because she's trying they're trying to play the structure husbands and wives before but be in front of their children if they're going to argue i'm not going to dare tell you you shouldn't argue that that that be a standard all of us would fail at all right but there's a way to have a good fight and it's not in front of the children if you have to go out and get in the car and sit in the garage you have to get just just go somewhere where they can't hear you why because those children need to see structure when mom speaks it's the same as dad speaking and when dad speaks it's the same and we speak as one we speak as we speak as one voice you see how you see how this works tonight you see how the structure of the church that that that could keep that could keep rank they could keep they could keep rank they they knew how to they knew how to march and they knew how to keep rank oh god may you continually give us men in this church that know how to reach into the bosom of the pastor and say let me feel your heartbeat let me feel what you want pastor pastor if you want me to be in the prayer i'll be the prayer pastor if you want me to be now i know all of you men are not all of us men ain't gonna be aisle runners and pew jumpers and spinners and all of that but men all of us ought to have a form of spiritual life we ought to at least raise our hands we we ought to at least we ought to at least be engaged in in our singing would you stand with me tonight it's simply talking about structure let's just pray for a moment before we go home could we just pray right now father oh god we want to fulfill this biblical teaching god of being blameless lord god you you you you have your blood that can forgive us and that can cleanse us god but lord don't at i remember where we were we we were at we were in front of gateway hardware on clinton highway when a man came out into the car and came around to my daddy's side and i noticed that the man had an a kind of a different sounding voice kind of smooth and i looked up and the man had a white shirt on it was rolled up and looked like he didn't have work pants something like a dress pants on and and and i noticed i'd never heard it was an unusual name i heard my daddy say well brother mccool what are you doing oh john i'm threading some pipe he's doing some some kind of pipe or pipe of that and i listened to my dad and this man talked and when that man walked off i heard my dad make a statement that i had never heard him make about any other man in my life he said son you see that man going there that's a great man right there that's a great man and i remember standing up because my daddy we would watch boxing together we would watch why why wild world of wrestling together we did a lot of things but i never heard my daddy say a man was a great man and i remember standing up and looking and watching real mccool walk away i believe my daddy planted the first seed of the respect that i have from bishop billy mccool i'm 60 years old but to this day when he walks in the room i stand in my feet i stand to my feet to this day when he comes in and by an election of a group of men they call me bishop and i'll tell no no no i'll tell them he's the bishop he's the he's really he's he's the bishop he's he's the bishop i'm the elected one i might not be bishop next year but he's he he's he'll always be i always if he called me right now i'd do i'd do anything in the world for that man but you know where i think i got that from my daddy said there goes a great man of god i wonder why i'd be i wonder where i'd be tonight tyler if my dad said hey son you know who that is right there that's another skirt chasing chicken eating money grabbing preacher going right there that's who it is that's another one of them guys that sleep all day long and eat chicken wear a suit it's another one of them preachers that need to get a real job where you think i'd be today if that would have been the first seed because years later when they put me in the christian school and not hear that name mccool what would i think of skirt chasing chicken eating money grabbing sleeping to noon need to get a real job preacher but my daddy planted a seed in me that caused me to always respect that authority in that structure and if we'll do the same as fathers we'll see god bless our families and i'm going to tell you the blessings that could come up on your family is to have a family meeting and say you know what pastor and sister carpenter been teaching us all and we've let some things slip around this house and we're going to get back where we need to be with god around this house y'all going to hear dad do some praying around his house we're going to get back in the structure because
