Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.
Sitting while God is moving
- Opens mid-exhortation on the danger of sitting settled while God is calling people to move.
- Self-doubt and feeling unqualified are no excuse for disobedience; obedience is the qualification.
- God uses ordinary people who will get up and go.
Dothan: Lord, open his eyes
- Elisha at Dothan: the king of Syria's plans keep failing because God reveals them through his prophet.
- The servant panics at the surrounding army; Elisha prays that his eyes be opened, and he sees the mountain full of horses and chariots of fire.
- What God shows changes how the surrounded man sees his situation.
Scriptures: 2 Kings 6; 2 Kings 6:12; 2 Kings 6:17
The siege is aimed at your faith
- Samaria besieged and starving: the enemy's strategy is pressure over time.
- Satan is not after your possessions; he is after your faith, and he wants you sitting down and giving up.
- The praise of men is no measure of standing with God.
Scriptures: 2 Kings 6:24; Luke 6:26
'Tomorrow about this time'
- Elisha prophesies relief by tomorrow; the officer who doubts the word will see it but not eat of it.
- Four lepers sitting at the gate ask why they should sit there until they die, and they move.
- Their movement discovers the enemy's abandoned camp, and they carry the news back.
Scriptures: 2 Kings 7:1; 2 Kings 7:2; 2 Kings 7:3
Obedience grants access
- The Naaman story and Gehazi: a private opinion against the prophet's word costs Gehazi what obedience would have given him.
- The Shunammite's faithfulness and her access to the man of God stand as the contrast.
- Getting up from sitting is the doorway to what God has already prepared.

Somebody is combating doubt in your life to what God has wanted to do through you. He has spoke to you. He has given you a word. You know how strong it is on you. For whatever reason you have doubted your own abilities. Listen to me. Look at me. Everybody in this room, look at me. Your own abilities will not get you anywhere. They will not get you anywhere. God's not asking you to do this with your strength and your might. Who hitayahiko sondoria. He is asking you to be obedient to what he wants you to do. He will support and back you.
You've heard a word in this place today: go where I send you and I go with you. If he goes with you, that means all of heaven is with you. Whatever he has sent you to do, it will be accomplished. Quit trying to qualify yourself. Quit trying to qualify. You are unqualified, as I am. We don't qualify ourselves. He qualifies us by the calling that is there.
Second Kings chapter six is an interesting study, one of my favorites. Second Kings pretty much four through eight, I love the stories that are there. It's the story of Naaman, we know, when he goes in. It's the story of Elisha doing mighty works. But in the sixth chapter things are a little bit different. It's in the sixth chapter where there's a besiegement that is coming. We, we read about it there in that chapter. And at this point in Israel's history the kingdom is divided. Joram is king of the northern kingdom, the capital city of Samaria. They, they are the good guys, if you have to pick good guys in a story. Ben Haydad is the king in Samaria, the capital city, and the story there in this today, if we had the label bad guys, they would be the bad guys. And in chapter six Syria is coming against the northern kingdom of Israel. It has been a brutal assault. They have attacked the kingdom over and over. And the strange thing is, while they've been attacking the kingdom of God, they have been given deliverance time and time again.
And in chapter six you'll see that every time the king of Syria meets with his counselors to attack some part, some strategic plan comes against there, they seem to always know wherever the enemy's going to be. It's so bad that in verse 12 of chapter 6 the king of Syria took his counselors aside and asked them, which one of you is the traitor? Because every time I try to make a plan, every time I come up with a strategy, they always know where we're going to be. I don't share my plans with anybody else. There has to be a traitor in this room. But they said to the king, it's not us. It's the life of the prophet who's letting them know all of our secrets. Nothing has been kept from him. Even the things that are told in your bed chambers he knows. For there are no secrets from God. Even the king's secrets are known to him.
God has given Israel victory after victory. The king of Syria is so mad and frustrated by this, he said, well we can solve the problem. Let's just go kill the prophet and take care of that. So they come down to the town where Elisha lives and they circle around the city to wipe out the prophet. This isn't a fair fight, because one prophet with God is stronger than an entire army every time.
Listen to me. I'm speaking some words of truth and faith into a ministry that has been put on hold because of doubt in this room. Elisha had the servant who, who went out and inspected and was seeing what was happening during the day. He came back. It comes back to the prophet and says, hey we're surrounded by the enemy. We're overrun. It's a hopeless and dire situation. This, this servant doesn't have the kind of relationship with God he needs to have. So the servant is, is in big trouble in his own mind. So Elisha prays for his servant. He asks God to open his eyes. And it's that same prayer I pray today in this room, that God would open some eyes in this place, so that you would stop focusing on what you think is an overwhelming foe and instead you could see what is really standing beside you in this last hour. Oh, in the name of Jesus the enemy is defeated. In the name of Jesus the enemy is defeated. He's just a greasy spot on the way between here and where God wants us to be. Don't let him roar and pretend that he is any more than what he really is. He is a defeated enemy. Oh God, open the eyes of us today.
He opens the eyes of the young servant. We see this in Second Kings chapter 6 verse 17: And Elisha prayed and said, Lord I pray thee open his eyes that he might see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire about Elisha. It was not a fair fight. It is not a fair fight. Ladies and gentlemen, it is not a fair fight. The enemy doesn't want you to see. But I'm here today to preach that your eyes need to be opened, to understand that when God has called you he will equip you, he will empower you. God's not nervous about the situation. He knows how it's going to turn out. And I wish somebody in this room would buy into what I'm preaching today. Because if I'm, if I'm going to be honest with you, I'm tired of you just sitting. I'm tired of you just sitting.
My message today is simply this: are you sitting? Are you just sitting, when God has so much for more for you? This is not a fair fight, but it's not the way you think it should be fair. It's in the opposite way. You and God are an overwhelming force. Boy, that was a really sad response in an Apostolic church, even if it is the Fourth of July Sunday. You and God are an unstoppable force. Do I have to cheerlead you to get excited about that, that you and God or an unstoppable force? Quit coming up with excuses why you can't do what God has asked you to do.
I like to try something else. God says, since you've opened my servant's eyes, now I want you to close the enemy's eyes. So God smites the enemy with blindness. They stumble into the city. They can't see anything. They don't even know where they are. The army actually ends up asking Elisha where they need to go. And now the king, he's anxious. As Elisha leads them out of the city, the king says, hey you rounded up the army, said we go ahead and kill them now. To which Elijah says, no we're not going to kill them. We're not going to resort to the enemy's strategy, because we know that's what the enemy would do, but we don't have to act like them.
I want to stop here and just make sure that I get this point real clear. With a frontal attack the devil cannot defeat the people of God. Did you hear what I said? With a frontal attack he cannot defeat you. He cannot. He, he tried this in the New Testament against the church and it failed. With a frontal attack the enemy cannot defeat the people of God. That's why starting in verse 24, this chapter, the enemy changed his tactics and he attacked us on a different front. We see in Second Kings chapter 6 verse number 24: And it came to pass after this, they've been, Hedad king of Syria gathered all the hosts and he went up and he besieged Samaria. That word besiege is a whole different fight. It's a whole different way of strategizing how he's going to come. Because he cannot attack you with a frontal attack and have success, then he'll surround you and begin to attack you in every other area of your life. He'll start besieging your home. He'll start besieging your relationships. He'll start besieging your finances and your family and your health and all around you. Why? Because he's trying to find one area where there's a weak spot. And when he finds it, guess where he zeroes in on that spot. Because he knows with a full frontal attack he cannot defeat you.
Sometimes we misunderstand our enemy. We say things like, the devil took my money. What is the devil going to do with your money? Can you answer that question for me? The devil made me lose my job. Why does he need your job? Is he going to clock in, jump on the assembly line, start putting things together? No. The devil didn't take your job. He doesn't want your job. He wants your faith in God. That's what he wants. What he wants us to surround you and poke you and push you and prod you and your family and your finances and your job and your health, so that it will diminish your walk and your faith with God. It's a terrorist attack. It's a besiegement. He's trying to wear you down. But I'm here to tell you, don't you fall prey to those little bitty tactics, because God is with you. It's a terrorist attack from hell. It's a threat of what the devil might do that keeps you from doing what God wants you to do.
Well it might not work out the way I wanted to. I might not be all that God thinks that I am. Really? You think God's confused about you? Are you, are you really telling me that God doesn't know who you are? He made you. He created you. He put everything in you he needed to accomplish his will and purpose in your life. And you're going to sit and argue with God and say, that's not what I can do? Really? You're going to have that conversation with God?
Too many of you are listening to all the little besiegements that the enemy keeps throwing at you. It's that threat that keeps you silent. It's that threat that will keep you from praising God. It's that threat that keeps you in your seat where the devil wants you to be. He surrounds you. He cuts off the water. He cuts off the food supply. And it's just not comfortable anymore. And all of a sudden you stop really praising God. Oh, you may raise your hand because you've been around the Apostolic church long enough to know that when people stand up you stand up. You don't want to stick out. Then when the praise team gets to worship and you know you can move up and down a little bit, but deep down inside you're not really giving it to God. You're being held back.
We treat God like he's only here to make us comfortable. We treat and we think to ourselves, when life gets uncomfortable, that either God has forsaken us, or that we're not doing it right, or that God someone like somebody else better. Nothing could be further from the truth. As I was teaching Next Steps this morning, there's never been a moment in your life when you've been loved more or less by God. He loves you, period, period. No exceptions. On your worst day, when you lied the most and you cheated the most and you, you deceived the most and you hurt the most, guess what? He loved you. He didn't like what you were doing, but he loved you. And on your best day, when you got a cat down out of the tree, when you helped a little old lady across the street, he loved you. You didn't gain any more love. He just loves you, period.
Someone needs to settle that issue down in your heart right now. God loves you. God loves you. God loves you. God loves you. God loves you. God loves you. Do you know that God loves you? He loves you. He loves you. He hasn't changed his mind about his love for you. He loves you. He loves you just as much today as he loved you yesterday, and it's going to be the same love tomorrow. God loves you. Some of y'all still ain't got it yet. You still ain't accepted the fact that God loves you, that he loves you. He loves you enough to call you. He loves you enough that he doesn't want you simply sitting on the sidelines. He loves you enough to put something into you that's worth digging out, so that you can understand that I have a place in the kingdom of God. He didn't call anybody to sit on a pew. He didn't call anybody to be a tithe payer. But he caught a whole bunch of people to be willing to stand up and storm the very gates of hell and say, hey I'm here. Oh I wish I had a few more people that would buy into what I'm preaching today.
He doesn't want you sitting. Make no mistake about it. If you have the Holy Ghost alive and well in you, you're going to be under attack. The only time you ought to be worried is when you're not under attack. Because if you're not under attack, that means you're not a threat. If you're not under attack, that means the enemy says, I don't want to worry about you. But some of you, some of you ought to be real happy right now, because you've been going through hell. That means the enemy is really worried about you. There's something that you're doing that's got him on, on red alert. So whatever it is you're doing, you keep doing it. Don't dare stop praying. Don't you dare stop right now. If you're being faced with a full frontal attack and you're surrounded by the enemy, just know you're right where you need to be. If it seems like your family's falling apart and the finances are gone and your health is whoo, that means something's going on that's got hell's attention in your life. Keep pushing. Keep pushing. Keep pushing. Keep pushing. Don't you dare stop at this moment in your life. You got too much going right.
Well pastor, you know what I'm going through. Well, if you're facing opposition, you got too much going right. We look at it all wrong. We misunderstand what's going on in our life. Luke 6 26: Woe unto you when all men shall speak well of you, for so did their followers to the false prophets. The enemy knows how to give you enough material possessions to distract you from being in the house of God, to distract you from prayer, to distract you from reading. He knows how to make your life so comfy and so cozy that you never give God a second thought. I'm not talking to you. But if your life is under attack and things are not going smooth with your kids and your finances and you have trouble at work and the people at school are treating you rough and something cropped up recently and you're struggling in your health, then maybe just maybe you're a threat to hell. Maybe just maybe you're the warrior I'm talking about. Maybe just maybe you're the one who's going to turn the tide in these last days, to bring forth that revival that's been prophesied time and time again. You're the one I'm talking to. I'm asking for you to get up off that seat. This is you today. I wish you'd stand up in the middle of this message. It's not going so well. And throw your hands up to heaven and push back and just grab your Bible and say, I'm pushing back the enemy today. I'm pushing back the enemy today. I may not feel a hundred percent, but there's enough inside of me that knows I can still do something for the kingdom.
Who, the devil is not the lord of you. He's not the boss of you. God put him under your feet. God put him under your feet. Does anybody feel like stomping today? God, open up this church's eyes so that they can see them. There are more with us than against us.
The king of Israel, you may be seated. The good king, instead of getting mad at the enemy for what's taking place, for the seeds that's taking place in this country, he turned his anger towards God. He gets upset at the man of God. He begins to see the symptoms of the siege and he sees the people. They're eating their own kids. And he sees the people are eating donkey's head. And people are eating the bird droppings just to stay alive. Not only they're eating it, but they're actually selling it. That's a bad day. We think it's bad that plywood's 90 a sheet. Imagine if you're buying bird poop for a dollar and a quarter. That's hard times. I mean, we got bird droppings everywhere around here, but it was so scarce and they're scooping it up, making a profit. That's about it. Look at this. That's a bad day. It's not happy times in the nation of Israel. But instead of getting mad at the enemy for the siege he gets mad at the man of God.
Listen to me. Be careful. Be careful in a time of siege and at a time of drought, in the time of stress, that you don't turn your finger towards someone else in the body of Christ and blame them for your problems. Oh, we're not fighting flesh and blood. We're not fighting flesh and blood. But we're spending a whole lot of stuff, a whole lot of spiritual fights going on. The enemy knows if he can get you talking about someone who's your brother or someone that's your sister, you're not gonna be focused on him. We're not fighting each other. We're fighting the devil. We're not fighting each other. We're fighting the devil. I need you, and whether or not you believe this, you need me. And together we can get through this.
So the king sends his messenger to the prophet. But the prophet got a word from God and knew that they were coming, and he said, shut the door, I'm not going to talk to them. I like that. I might try that once or twice. II Kings seven and one: Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the Lord. Thus saith the Lord, Tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flower be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a sheckle at the gate and Samaria. Man God, if you lost your mind. They're eating bird poop around here. They're boiling donkey's heads and dividing babies up and eating it. Where are they going to get the flower? How's this possible?
Oh you better be careful when the word of God goes forth, that you don't allow your flesh to prevent something. They're always someone who stands around and doubts everything. That's why just a few minutes ago I purposely prayed against doubt in this room, because God's doing something right now. He's doing something in this place. Second Kings 7 2: Then a lord whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God and said, Behold if the Lord would make windows and have, don't you always love under somebody around who tries to act like there's something too hard for God? Well, can, if God is all-powerful, can he make a rock that he can't pick up? I don't know, idiot. Why would you ask such a dumb question? He clearly made you, so he can do the impossible. And he said, Behold I shall see it without eyes, but thou shalt not eat thereof. What's going on? He's saying, you doubt. Because you doubted, it won't be you. You will see it, but you won't partake.
Listen to me in this room. I'm afraid there's some of you, if you don't change your ways, you will have seen so much take place in the house of God, God working so many lives and do so many mighty miraculous miracles, so many things, but because you couldn't reason through it in your own mind, you'll see it but you won't partake of it. Someone else is going to do the pray, and someone else is going to do the fasting. Someone else is going to do the holy living. Someone else is going to do the sacrifice. And somebody else is going to do the giving. And God's going to pour out an abundance. You'll see it, but it won't be on you.
Some people think that when revival gets here they're going to jump in the middle of. But I'm going to tell you right now, if you can't worship God every day anywhere, no matter the circumstances, see here, let me, let me go this. I don't know, we've been here for a while, so let me, I'm gonna fast forward just a minute. The enemy made a mistake. Because the enemy is not perfect. There was only one perfect one. He died for you. And now the enemy made a mistake. The weakest and the sickest, most hurting, who were not even in the city, they were outside the gates where they could see the enemy face to face. What the enemy didn't count on was four leprous men standing outside. This happens sometimes in church. The ones who think that they're the most benefit to the church actually end up being the stumbling blocks. And the ones who think they're insignificant and can't ever contribute anything of worth end up being the very ones that God says, no I want you. I want you. I'm going to work through you, because when I work through you then there's no doubt that I did the work. That should be a hope to somebody in this place today. You keep trying to qualify yourself. I'm telling you what, if God has placed it on you, you just need to be obedient. He'll do it through you.
These four men, they came up with their own little monster. Second Kings seven and three: And there were four leprous men at the entry into the gate. And they said one to another, Why sit here until we die? I like that. Let's be honest. They're lepers. There's not a lot to look forward to. Body parts are falling off. You know, hey man, is that your finger? Oh, Bill got up and left his feet over there. I mean, it didn't looking good for them. They didn't have a promising future. I liked the fact that they evaluated the situation and they came up with this conclusion: I'm not going to just sit. We're going to do something. We can either try to get in the gate or we march to the enemy's camp. But I refuse to stay seated. All that, that spirit would get on this church, that, that same attitude would be something that we would embrace in this place today, that I'm going to do something besides just sit.
Can I tell everyone something today? No matter what you do, we are human beings and we are in the fight of our life. You may not think you're in the fight of your life, but I'm here to tell you, you are in the fight of your life. And eternity weighs in the balance. You're going to die if the Lord tarries. You can do all you can. You can liposuck it, trim it, staple it, do whatever you want to do, but eventually you're going to die. You're going to be worm food before it's all said and done. So you can choose to do that route or you can choose to say, you know what, if I'm going to live, I'm going to go out and fight. Because just sitting here isn't causing me anything of benefit, one way or another. So, so the most unlikely foursome comes up with a mantra: Why are we gonna sit here until we die? So I'm coming up with a mantra here. Why are you going to sit? Why are you going to sit, when there's so much to be gained? Why are you going to sit? Why are you going to sit and just accept that this is the best that life has for you? Why are you going to do that? Why are you going to sit here and just accept that there's nothing else going to happen with you, that you're never going to be well? You know God has purposed in your heart and in your mind. Why would you just sit? Why would you sit through here one more service? Why would you sit here and be held captive by pornography when you can be set free, or overrun by drugs and alcohol when there's a deliverer here? Or why would you say, with your home is slipped upside down, when Jesus can come in and restore? Why would you sit here and just be complacent when the Almighty is here to do a work through you?
You may be thinking, already got this figured out. If I lift my hands and step out, if I, if I come down to, to the altar, God might not heal me. He might not deliver me. You know what? You're right. He might not. But what good's it done you, just sit in there? What good's it done you, just sit in there? These leprous men, they're sitting there hungry. Know how bad it is inside the city gate? They're eating bird poop. These guys are sitting out the gate. They don't even get the option to buy that. They're sitting out there. They're, they're covered in leprous sores. They didn't have anywhere else to go but up. So they said, I'm not going to sit anymore. We can try to, to bang on the gate, but chances are they're not going to let us in when they take one look at us. So you know what I'm going to march to the enemy. Well I got some news for someone here. You may be thinking you got it figured out, but if you're not willing to move, this is what I know about the word of God: there are times when God comes in and just does a miraculous work, but most of the time the promises are there, or if then promises, that if you'll make a move, then God will back up his word and say. But if you sit still, if you just sit there waiting, well God if you want me to, you'll just send a red bus down on flames with my name written on the side of it, say that's what I have to do. What about you try to do something? What about you step out a little bit of faith? What about you saying, you know what God, I know you've been moving me, you've been pulling me, you've been putting people's, people's names in my mind that you want me to reach out to. God, you've been showing me a ministry that is there. I don't think I could ever do it. But God, you've been doing those things. What if you just took a step out?
Well Pastor Kevin, what if I fall flat on my face? What if you fall flat on your face? At least you tried. There's been times I stepped out on faith. There's been times I've prayed for people. There's been times that I've tried to, to be sure that I was listening to everything God wanted to do, and nothing happened. But you know what I learned a long time ago? That if I don't take any of the credit when it works out, I don't have to take anything blame when it doesn't. It has absolutely nothing to do with me, and has absolutely everything to do with him. So if I feel God wants me to pray for somebody, I'm going to pray. Have I prayed for people and they not been healed? Yes. I've been prayed for people and then I've been delivered. Yes. And some of you like, well I'm never getting that guy to pray for me. But have I prayed for people and they've been healed? Yes. Have I prayed for the sick and they got better? Yes. But it wasn't me. It wasn't me. I didn't have anything to do with them. The one little small part I had is I was simply obedient. Though if you laid them on my heart, God I'll pray and I'll let God take all the credit. And if it doesn't work out, I'll let God bear the blame. He's got big shoulders. He can handle it.
These, these four leprous men, they knew that famine was behind the gate. They knew the enemy was out in front of him. But they also knew that setting was not going to do anything but bring certain deaths. So they decided to do something and see what would happen. And I wish somebody would take that same statement and say, if I'm going to die, I'm going to die giving God my best. I would rather die shouting instead of pouting. I would rather have someone say, man they had faith in the middle of a hopeless situation. If I'm going down, I want to go down swinging, not sitting.
Four lepers, they go. And as they head towards the camp, many of you know the story. God had already sent the sound of chariots ahead of them. The enemy hears what's going on. The enemy knows the full weight and power that God has. So guess what they did? They ran. They were out of there. These four lepers, they come walking into a camp. Fires are still burning. There's still a roast in the, in the pot. There's all this plunder to be had. They, they walk in the middle of a victory that they didn't have to fight in. They didn't have to fight, Paul, no. They didn't have to left one sword, they, I mean, can't you see this ragtag munch is going down through there and they get in and, and hey, it's already been done for him. Because it's God who fights for you. It's God who fights for you. It takes great faith to get up and say that, I trust you God, that you're going to bring me through this situation, to have praise in your life before you see something happen.
The enemy ran for their lives. It was always faith that gets God's attention. And it is always faith that gets God's attention. I don't know what you're facing today, but, but listen to me. I'm bringing this to cloves. The musicians can come. God's gonna do something here. This isn't preacher talk. This isn't me just ramping you up. Listen, God is going to do something here now. You can believe this or you cannot believe this. It's up to you. I'm submitted to my bishop over here. And if I'm stepping out of line, Bishop, then you yang my coattail and I'll sit down.
Second Kings chapter five, Naaman is healed. And after Naaman is healed, Gaza decides he wants some of the plunder that the prophet turned down. So he goes running after Naaman. He says, hey prophet changed his mind. I'd like a couple of those nice shirts you got there, new pair of suede shoes, a little bit of jingle in my pocket. That's the Kevin's version. So he gets it. He comes back. The man of God confronts him right off the bat. Right off the bat, Bishop, and says, hey where you been? He gets on the hazard and says, Geheza, you decided to go after something that didn't belong to you. And because you desired Naaman's riches, you get Naaman's leprosy. Now I don't have time to unpack this, but please, there's a point for me to bring this story up. The end of chapter 5 goes this way, that the leprosy was on him and upon his descendants. And he left the prophet's presence, says white is snow. He was covered in white.
Chapter six, where the besiegement takes place, goes into chapter seven, and then we see there's four lepers there. This is me, in my opinion. Those four lepers are Gehazi and his sons. He said, how do you know that? Because you go to chapter eight, Gehazar is standing in front of the king telling a story. And there's never a day there'd be a leper standing in front of a king. It is my opinion that those four lepers marched into the enemy's camp. And if you read the story in chapter seven, they get there and they start taking the plunder from themselves. But it's my opinion that Gahesah says, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, this is playing over like a bad movie. I don't want to do this. But instead we need to take what we got and we need to take the news and we need to go back and we need to share it. And it is my opinion, on the route back, the Gehazai and his sons were healed. Because I have no other way to explain how in chapter eight the leprous Kahazah is standing in front of the king, other than to say that if you'll stop setting, even if you've made mistakes, shortcomings and failures, even if you feel like you've been disqualified, even if there's been some things that you know without a doubt God has done to you to get your attention, if you will be obedient, obedience will grant you access to the throne room. You hear me? Obedience will access, you grant, who grant you access to the throne room.
Because even in chapter eight, and you can check it out, I don't have it in there, but look, even the widow, or even the woman who, whose son had been healed, she was obedient to the prophet when the prophet said that the besiegement's coming, you need to get out of this country. She was gone. Somebody else took a residence in her house. And she comes in to plead her case before the king. And it's hazard that says, here's the woman right here. I know I'm telling the story, but hey, this is her. Because she had a relationship and she was obedient.
I'm here to tell you today, obedience, ladies and gentlemen. The kind of obedience that says, I'm not going to sit. I'm not going to sit by. I'm not going to sit here idle when I know God wants me to do something. Now I don't know everybody's story in this place, but this is what I do know. I know this in my spirit, that there are some in this place who, for whatever reason you have decided to not be obedient to when God has called you, and you started sitting. And on July 4th, 2021, he sent this pastor to tell you, stop sitting. Stop. Do something. Get up. Don't stay where you are. There's already been two words of tongues and interpretation in this place, that he will go with you if you will follow him. So I don't know, I don't know what's been put on hold here. But I felt it in prayer this morning. I felt here to say, whoever I'm preaching to today, please stop sitting. Stop. Get up. And he will go before you. What you think is the impossible will prove to be the greatest victory you have ever seen.
Will you stand with me? In this last day revival is here. Okay, we don't have to pray for revival. Revival is here. We, we were never instructed to pray for revival anyway. What were we instructed to pray for? Come on, come on, Bible theologians. What were we instructed to pray for? Laborers. And I'm looking at a bunch of laborers today. And I'm saying, it's time to get to work. It's time to get to work. Quit trying to qualify yourself. Peace qualified you by that call.
Jesus, in this special moment we're in right now, God, I know what you laid in my heart to preach. I know what you told me to say. And I have delivered my burden to your church. Lord, I pray that someone would receive this as a direct word from the very throne room today, for them to stop sitting, to move forward into the areas that you were calling them into, to do a work, Lord Jesus, threw them for your kingdom. God gives someone a boldness to step out today, to be obedient, to commit themselves to following after you. Do what you do best. Do what you do best, Lord. This altar is open. I think it's time we do a little searching in ourself. I think there's some who need to step out. Let your faith, let it lead you to a place where he can restore, reconcile. It's time to stop sitting on the sideline, when God has so much to do in these last days. Will you come? Yes, will you come?
