Summary
Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.
More Than Enough
- Paul bows his knees for a church that can barely comprehend the breadth and length and depth and height of the love of Christ — and a God who does exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.
- The thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy; Jesus came that we might have life, and have it more abundantly.
- Abundance is a reasonable life: present your body a living sacrifice. Sin's life, by contrast, is excess — beyond what is usual, proper, or necessary.
Scriptures: Ephesians 3:14-21; John 10:10; Romans 12:1
Excess and Abundance in Money
- The scribes and Pharisees made clean the outside of the cup while within was extortion and excess; America's money troubles grow out of a sin problem.
- Bring all the tithes into the storehouse and God will open the windows of heaven — a phrase scripture uses only one other time, for the flood in Noah's day. Blessing or flood: choose the plan of God.
- He who sows sparingly reaps sparingly; God loves a cheerful — a hilarious — giver, and enrichment overflows in thanksgiving to God.
Scriptures: Matthew 23:25; Malachi 3:10-12; Genesis 7:11-12; 2 Corinthians 9:6-7; 2 Corinthians 9:11-12
Excess and Abundance in Relationships and Rejoicing
- Every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust; lust conceived brings forth sin, and sin finished brings forth death.
- Rejoice with the wife of your youth and be ravished always with her love; make a covenant with your eyes, and set no wicked thing before them.
- The old crowd thinks it strange that you run not with them to the same excess of riot — but rejoicing becomes more abundant when the saints come together again.
Scriptures: James 1:14-15; Proverbs 5:18-19; Job 31:1; Philippians 1:26; 1 Peter 4:3-5
Abundant Mercy, Abundant Pardon
- By his abundant mercy God has begotten us again to a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
- The Lord has chosen Zion and will abundantly bless her provision; his inward affection is more abundant toward his people; the grace of our Lord is exceeding abundant with faith and love.
- All things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might redound to the glory of God: let the wicked forsake his way and return to the Lord, for he will abundantly pardon.

What a marvelous time we had this morning and thank you Pastor Anthony for marvelous word. It's it's hard to get out of Egypt, but I know that there is deliverance uh from everything that the enemy would place in our way. I do give honor to all of our leadership. We honor Bishop and Sister Mcool and I say yes and amen to the celebration of Bishop's birthday this coming weekend. Also, it's a very important thing for us to celebrate special days and remember the anniversary of First Apostolic Church, our uh humble beginnings and the many blessings that God has afforded us to be where we are right now. and we're thankful to have a time to honor that. So, please be with us next Sunday morning, next Sunday night. To all of our guests, we want you to know how much we appreciate you being in the house of the Lord with us. Uh our common saying is that you get to be a guest or a visitor one time, then after that, your home folk. So, I'm glad to have all the home folk here tonight. Good to see you in the house of the Lord. Would give you a bit of explanation. Uh, Pastor Whitley is out of town this weekend. He's up in his old stomping ground, if you will, up in Bloomington, Indiana, uh, and is teaching and preaching uh, for special conference up there. So, let's continue praying for him. The Lord will give him souls for his labor. I want to take you to the word of the Lord this evening, calling our attention to the book of Ephesians, the third chapter. If you have your Bible or your tablet or whatever mode you might be uh looking at this in the word of the Lord, they'll also have it on our media screens. Book of Ephesians, the third chapter, begin reading at verse number 14. We read, "For this cause I bow my knees unto the father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that he would grant you according to the riches of his glory to be strengthened with might by his spirit in the inner man." Now, don't let those words slip by you. Strength for the inner man according to God's riches and glory. That's pretty strong if you think about it. How rich is our God? >> That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith, that ye being rooted and grounded in love, that's your foundation. God's love is what holds us together may be able to comprehend all saints what is the breadth the length and depth and height and to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge that you might be filled with all the fullness of God. Notice verse 20. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that workketh in us. Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. For a few moments, I would speak to you on a well preached subject, but a reminder to all the believers. More than enough. More than enough. Let's pray. Savior, I love you. I'm grateful to be in your house and I thank you for the opportunity to speak and preach your word. Lord, I thank you for every individual that's in this room, those who are tuning in online. God, I pray that we would all realize that is your word that feeds us, keeps us, gives us direction, and brings us to salvation. Lord, nothing that I can say nor that I can do can accomplish any of these, but your anointed word can accomplish all in us. Lord, let us receive, act, and do what you be pleased with. The name of Jesus, we pray. Amen and amen. more than enough. In our text passage, Paul is addressing the Ephesians, the Ephesian church, if you will, and he's giving special promises of blessings from God on them according to the love of God. He basically tells the church that it's even difficult for us to really comprehend the full abundance of God's love and all that goes with it. And I I I must say it was not only Ephesians, it's we the church of today. It is sometimes really difficult for us to comprehend just how good God is and just how much God is doing for us. We take for granted many times the marvelous things that he provides for us every day. Those little things that uh we sometimes ignore. We we sometimes give praise for the big things and rightfully so. But just the daytoday blessings of the Lord, it's insurmountable when you start trying to count and and trying to itemize what the love of God brings into our life. I'm thankful even tonight. I I I give a a quick testimony. He'll give you the details if you just give him a half chance. But I want to thank the Lord for a miracle the Lord did for my brother-in-law, Brother Ron Dunn. God has done a miracle in his life in the past couple of weeks. The doctors had him uh expecting uh uh possible heart surgery and stints and all those kind of things. And before it was over, all I can tell you is he asked the doctor. He said, "Is that what you call a miracle?" And the doctor patted him on the leg. Said, "That's what I'd call it, but I'm not not allowed to say." I'm telling you, God's doing mira miracles still this day. God's doing works in your life. And God is our provider. God is still working among the church today. and and Paul had taken the time out with all of the instructions that Paul had given the Ephesians, Paul was taking the time to let the church know the words he used was exceedingly abundantly above all that we could ask or think. It's it it's exceeding abundance. Well, John said it this way. The thief cometh not but to steal, to kill, and destroy. But I have come that you might have life, and that you might have it more abundantly. I'm looking forward to going to heaven. Don't get me wrong, but I'm enjoying an abundant life here serving Jesus. Don't count life on this earth too short. I know Job had troubles. >> He said that life was a few days and full of trouble. But if you read the end of Job, Job got his family back. He got his house back. He got his riches back. I'm wanting to enjoy what I'm living right now. God has abundant living for everybody in the house. >> This is no power of positive thinking message. This is just a fact. If you know the God that we all served, you're going to live a better life on this earth. >> For you see, Satan and sin is that thief that steals lives, that kills relationship, and destroys success, reputation, and good judgment. God's blessings bring abundance. Sin brings a life of excess. In fact, as most of you know that's heard me preach much, I like to know what words really mean. I I like to look at definitions for the Bible says exactly what it means to say. >> That term abundant defined is more than enough. >> Abundance from God is more than not just enough but more than enough. being more than sufficient without excessive marked by a great plenty. In parallel, sin brings a life of excess. And the term excess defined as exceeding what is usual, proper, necessary, or normal. Sin wants you to be abnormal. There are synonyms that go along with the word e excess. It means extreme, going beyond the normal limits. Excessive, it implies an amount or degree too great to be reasonable or acceptable. Immodderate implies a lack of desirable or necessary restraint. Inordinate implies an exceeding of the limits dictated by the reasons of good judgment. Extravagant implies an indifference to restraints imposed by truth, prudence, or good taste. Exorbitant implies a departure from acceptable standards regarding amount or degree. Do you want to live in excess or do you want to live in God's abundance? For you see, Romans said it this way. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. You see, God requires us to live a reasonable life. Sin requires us to live a life that is unreasonable and a life full of excess. >> I want to read you a few excerpts from an article that I have saved in my iPad that I saved from January of 2009. It's entitled Wall Street's super thing failed by excess in antiques and buying with the bank. It reads, "At antique furniture, a $15 billion loss and an unacceptably lavish trip to a Swiss ski resort. A 30-year Wall Street career of former Meil Lynch boss John Thane came crashing to an end this week has his as his new employer Bank of America ran out of patience. Nicknamed quote superane quote for his bespeckled bespeckled Clark Kent look. Fain was once known as a turnaround expert with a deaf hand for fixing troubled financial institutions, but he lost his job in a meeting which lasted barely 15 minutes on Thursday morning with Bank of America chief executive Kenneth Lewis. It goes on to tell that Lewis was not satisfied with his lack of success in turning their bank around. But what really had turned Lewis and the Bank of America bosses? The article goes on to say, "They complained that Fain left them in the dark about the scale of outflow. As the situation deteriorated in December, he went on a holiday to the mountain resort of Vale. The baking group might have pulled out of his purchase of Meil Lynch had it not been urged to press on by the US Treasury, which feared another Wall Street bankruptcy. But Thain, or rather Thain's personal style engendered particular irritation. In a carefully timed leak, it emerged that Thain spent $1.22 million of Merrill's money renovating his office in New York. The 58-year-old signed off on the purchases which included a rug that cost 87,784. Man, he's never been to Walmart. You can get them cheaper than that. I promise. A $35,115 commode. >> Home Depot and Lowe's are close by. You can beat that price. A pair of curtains costing $28,000 and even a waste paper bin that cost $1,45. living in excess, living above what is reasonable, living opulently, living according to excess rather than what blessings bring when you're serving God of abundance. You see, Matthew said it this way. Woe unto you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. Let me tell everybody in the house as we see those who worry about the financial conditions of our nation, all of the worries of what's happening at Wall Street and what's not going to work. America's financial and economic problems are the result of having America having a sin problem. >> A sin problem leads us to extortion and excess. The thief wants to steal your finances. >> Let me tell you, it is expensive to live in sin. Sin is not cheap. Sin is not free. Drug busts, money, property confiscation costs. Lawyers fees are expensive. DUI accidents and property loss from damage costs greatly. time lost of lost wages and jail time, gamblers and losing. Now look, let's be real here. It may be spelled L Vegas, but if you pronounced it properly, it's probably loss Vegas. But still, there are so many who are blinded by the appeasement of the flesh for this world's gain that they will take their hard-earned money and they will bet it on the roll of a dice or they'll gamble it on the the turning of a wheel or the luck of cards or a digital one-armed bandit. That city If you even visit the history, you'll find out that it was founded on criminals and criminal enterprise. The city didn't become what that city is today because it gave people money. It's because people went there and lost. You see, sin will cause you to live in excess. It will cause your mind to be blinded. It will cause you to develop sinful habits that affect your flesh. You think of the cost of all of the health care in our nation today because too many have abused tobacco and alcohol, drugs, opioids with legal dealers and white coats handing it out to people. Now, I realize the PC police may show up for the preachers speaking against things that have become accepted in our society, but I'll say it again. I'm not even politically concerned. I want you to be able to live in abundance, not in excess of sin. I don't want the thief to steal, kill, and destroy. I want you to have abundant life and have it more abundantly. You see, there's a simple plan that God set forth in the book of Malachi, the third chapter. He said, "Bring you all the tithe into the storehouse that ye may be meat that there may be meat in my house, and prove me now herewith, sayeth the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven." Please italicize, underline, and get your highlighter out, at least in your mind. that scripture said he promised if we'll pay our tithe that he would open the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing that there shall not be room enough to receive. He went on to say, I will rebuke the devourer. Who's the dea the devourer? It's Satan. It's that same thief that comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I will rebuke the devourer for your sake. He shall not destroy the fruit of your ground, neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, sayeth the Lord of hosts. And all nations shall call you blessed, for ye shall be a delightsome land, sayeth the Lord of hosts. Now, I told you to underline, italicize, get your mental highlighter out about he would open the windows of heaven. Did you know there's only one other time that I can find in scripture that he opened the windows of heaven? Let me read it to you. It's found in Genesis the 7th chapter. In the 600th year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventh day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up and the windows of heaven were opened and the rain was upon the earth 40 days and 40 nights. Let me ask you, do you want the abundance of blessings that comes with putting your life under God's financial plans? Or do you need a flood in your life? He only opened the windows of heaven twice that I can find scripturally. I'm here to tell you that the the sinful life that Satan would put you under, the sinful desires of this world will destroy all you have coming to you. You see there, let me let me pause. I say again, do we want sin's excess or do we want God's abundance? I want a flood of blessings. You see, by the world's standards, we may not appear to be wealthy, but somehow we just keep making. And by the world's standards, things that was supposed to bring joy and happiness end up being so hollow, end up end up being without true satisfaction. Yet you see someone who has declared, "I've had enough of the thief in my finances. I'm going to put my life under God's authority." Preacher, are you trying to fill the coffers of the church? No. I'm trying to keep us getting a blessing. And I want God to get a blessing. >> You know how God gets a blessing? God gets a blessing when we obey his word. And he's able to open the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing. He can't pour out his blessings if you won't do your part. >> He's got to keep his word. You see, 2 Corinthians 9:6 says, "But this I say, he which seweth sparingly shall also reap sparingly, but he which seweth bountifully shall reap bountifully, every man according as he purposed in his heart. So let him give not grudgingly or ne of necessity for God loveth a cheerful giver. I remember bishop defining that word cheerful. There's one instance the word cheerful is defined a hilarious giver. Someone who enjoys the blessings. They know what God has given them. And now they in turn become a giver of the things that he has blessed them abundantly with. Verse 11 of that same passage says, "Being enriched in everything to all bountifulness which causes through us thanksgiving to God. For the administration of disservice, not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God." This is why I tell the church tonight, we have so much to be thankful for. When I look around what God has blessed me with, the opportunities, my family, uh, just count your blessings one time. They're innumerable. >> But we're talking about the difference in excess and abundance. God has abundant blessings in your relationship. Sin has the disappointment of excess in your relationship. Sin's excess in relationships bring nothing but heartache and guilt. The thief loves to kill love, steal love, and destroy love. James 1:14 said, "But every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin. And sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Sin brings fornication, adultery, perversion, and death. premarital affairs, extrammarital affairs, all of the perversions of this world, lustful experimentation, loss of trust, suspicion, loneliness, STDs, and death. Oh, you've been mighty plain in the pull pit. We need to call sin for what sin is. That's right. >> Young folks, hear this preacher tonight. Those of you who are not yet married, you need to be looking for a relationship with the con in the confines of somebody that loves God just like you do and serves God just like you do. >> In fact, it's very selfish for someone who won't serve God to pray the prayer, "Oh, God, I want you to give me a mate that's faithful to you." Why would God give an old dog like you to somebody that good? If you want a mate that's serving God, you need to serve God. If you want a mate that's faithful to God, you need to be faithful to God. God's not I am still preaching. Hear me. Don't Don't expect to go to the garbage can and get a good meal. You need to find yourself in the house of God serving God. Whatever field that you work in, what young folks, you have so many wonderful opportunities. Those of you who are graduating from school, those who are continuing your education. There will be temptations. I'm not throwing off on people. God loves everybody and we need to be a witness to everybody. But let me tell you, you don't marry somebody and then get them saved. You need to find somebody that's saved to get married to. There's a big difference. >> I believe in personal testimonies. Do you want excess or do you want abundance? Proverbs said this, "Let thy fountain be blessed and rejoice with the wife of thy youth. Be thou ravished always with her love." That term ravished means overcome with joy or delight. I've been married to that lady down there 45 years. Man, I am still ravished. Honey, Jamie, baby, I'm thankful. The wife of my youth. What do they say? There may be snow on the roof, but there's still fire in the house. Hey, baby. I'm still ravished with your love. Let me tell you this world. Notice notice notice my kids. All dead. Go on. Please keep preaching. That's all right. I saw Kelly and Anthony sneak a kiss and I saw Eleanor and Kella Beth go. Oh, gross. You get it back. It's coming. Let me tell you, this world would love to have those relationships that last 20 and 30 and 40 and 50 and 70 years. >> This world is searching for the happiness. That happiness does not come from the excess of lust in your life. It comes from a true love relationship of two people who love Jesus together and in turn they develop a relationship of love between them. >> Some will justify their perversion by saying, "Oh, it's just a physical relationship." Now, I know I'm being a little plain tonight, but stay with this preacher. I want you to live in abundance, not in excess. There's a difference. Wrong. It's not just a physical relationship. Just as sure as God created the nature or the natural desires between the opposite sex for mankind, he also created the emotional attachment that goes along with a physical relationship. Again, second emergency calling to the PC police. I'm not worried about being politically correct. Hear me everybody under the sound of my voice. The enemy wants to take a life of excess with your physical desires and your fleshly lust and destroy what God has made so beautiful. Some of us need to get an alarm system in our house. And I don't mean ADT and your doors. Some of us need to do like Job did. Job said in Job 31, "I made a covenant with my eyes. Why then should I think upon a maid? He said, I I need to be careful what I'm letting my mind dwell on and what I'm watching. Hear me. This old book is as current today as it was 2,000 years ago. Long before they knew what the internet was about and all the garbage and all the perversion that was at someone's thumb tips. Job said, "I made a covenant with my eyes and some stuff I'm not going to be watching and letting my mind feast on." You better find yourself keeping yourself from those things that bring excess into your life rather than abundance into your life. The Psalmist said it this way, "I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes. I hate the work of them that turn aside. It shall not cleave to me." I want everybody in the house to be able to enjoy the true love of God and the true love of life and the true love of relationships that God ordained for us on this earth way before we go to heaven. You know, sin does not even know how to celebrate. We know how to celebrate the abundance of God blessings. God's blessings bring praise and worship. But sin, well, I'll give you this example. If sin wins, they have to call the police out because sin when they celebrate winning like winning likes to go out and turn over cars, break out windows and stores, burn buildings. What are you doing? We're celebrating. We won. And you know what sin does when it loses? Goes out, turns over cars, breaks windows, sets fires. Why? Because sin is boring. Hear me. Sin is not exciting. Sin has to find some new way to try to appease the flesh. But let me tell you, when you got abundance in your life, when you're excited about what God has done for you, you learn to have praise and worship in your life. Philippians 1:26 says that your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by coming to you again. Paul said, "Every time I come around the church, I want to rejoice in abundance." That I make no apologies for the way we act at church. Now, I will give explanation, but it's not an apology. You see, you might have had a rough week. You might have had a rough day. You might have had a rough year up to now. But there's something about it when I can get in the presence of God. Some way somehow I start feeling his blessings being poured out on me. I start experiencing his presence. And suddenly those things of the world, they start to fade away. Oh, I know there may be issues, but I know I'm not alone anymore. I may have had victories or I may have had defeat, but when I'm on God's side, I'm always a winner. I can praise. I can worship. I get excited. See, I'm about to get excited right now when I see the saints of God who I know they've been through a trial. I know they've been through a test, but they've squared their shoulders. They've stepped out and said, "I'm going to by faith be a worshshiper. I may not feel like putting my hand up, so I'm going to put them both up. I'm not surrendering. I'm worshiping." I'm here to tell you if somebody would worship God right now, God may have some deliverance for you in this house tonight. >> Oh, hallelujah. >> >> Now, and I hasten now let me tell you the the crowd that we used to run with until they find out this abundant life versus excessive life, they're not going to understand what's happening to you. In 1 Peter 4, we read this. For the time passed of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles when we walked in lasciviousness, in lusts, excess of wine, rellings, banqueting, abominable idolatries. Now, now please I I won't comment too long, but just bear with me a few moments. to celebrate an accomplishment. Folks want to drink something or smoke something and get so blown out of their mind. Man, I did go to college. You know, they they they probably had when I went to the University of Tennessee before I graduated, they had taken down the hitching post, but it has been a while back. But even back then, all the supposed party animals, they celebrated. I heard folks talk, "Man, I got so drunk, I threw up." Well, isn't that special? A pin of rose on your nose. I mean, sin will sell you on a bill of goods of doing crazy things in the name of being victorious or accomplishing something only to wake up to realize your greatest posture of the the night was hugging the porcelain and putting your face where your face wasn't intended to be. >> That's what sin does for you and makes you think that's okay. That's popular. You Oh, aren't you special? Think about it. You're smarter than that. God's given you gray matter between your ears. That's not what we do. You see, we can praise God without a hangover on Monday morning. I can get up in the morning just as happy as I was Sunday night singing the praises of God, saying, "Lord, I thank you that you woke me up this morning. I thank you that you started me on my way. I thank you that you established my going. I thank you for my parents or my family. I It's more than enough. God's got so much for you." Oh, please hear me. I want you to experience it. Now he's warning you. He said in times past you walked in lasciviousness in lust, excess of wine, revelings, banqueting. Nothing wrong with eating. You can get carried away with that, too. And pay extra to have somebody move you and shake you and quake you to lose it. I got to say it. I shouldn't stop, but I'm I'm amazed at those that pay big bucks to have a fitness center to work out at and they argue because they can't get the closest parking space. Park way out in the parking lot. You get some free exercise getting in the place. >> Just saying. >> Sin will mess your mind up. Sin will make you do dumb stuff. Satan wants to steal, kill, and destroy you. But he said, "I've got abundant life." He said when he itemized all these things, he said, "Wherein they," the crowd I used to run with, "they think it strange that you run not with them to the same excess of riot and speaking evil of you." Yeah, I know him. He used to party with me, but he's Holy Joe now. He's She's Mother Mary now. Let me tell you, don't let the words of the world discourage you from knowing what to do and to do right. In fact, you've got an opportunity to be an example to win some of those same folks. If you're the only one in your school that's serving God, you square your shoulders and say, "God, I'm thankful for the opportunity to serve you. God, let me be an example. Open a door that I can be a witness." It doesn't make you a wimp. It doesn't make you any less manly. are any less womanly. It'll get your mind right. It'll get your heart right. Some of you students that are starting university this year have been there, done that. There will be a lot of temptations. There will be a lot of distractions and there will even be a lot of pressures to conform to be with the so-called in crowd. The only crowd I want to be in is with Christ. I want to be with him. He He's the one for verse five said of that same passage of 1 Peter 4:5 said, "Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead?" You see, if they're going to talk about me anyway, let's give them something to talk about. >> Let's give this world something to talk about. I mean, go around, put a smile on your face and nothing else, they wonder what you up to. Let the Holy Ghost permeate from praise team musicians, get ready. You're going to have to help me. You You see, I challenge everybody in this room. Challenge everybody that's listening in to leave the excess of sin and find the abundance of serving Christ. It's so beautiful. But brother Mcool, I need forgiveness for my sin. Glad you asked. Sin won't give you forgiveness. It'll just give you guilt and more sin. 1 Peter 1:3 said, "Blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy," not just his mercy, it's abundant mercy. It's more than enough mercy. You don't know what I've done. Don't matter. I got more than enough mercy for you right here. Blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. When he died, he died for my sins. He got up so I can get up. That's what they were singing about. They said, "Get up. Get up. Get up. Get up out of that grave." The grave that sin would put you in. You've got the opportunity this night to change your life around and make a commitment to Christ that I'm not going to live that way. I'm going to live in abundance, not in excess. >> But I'm I'm having a a tough go of it right now. I'm needing some blessings. Well, I've got that for you, too. The Psalmist said in Psalms 132:13, "For the Lord hath chosen Zion. He hath desired it for his habitation. This is my rest forever. Here will I dwell, for I have desired it. I will abundantly bless her with provisions. I will satisfy her poor with bread. We are now in Zion. The church serving in Zion. God wants to bless his people with abundance. But But pastor, I I just need somebody to love me. 2 Corinthians 7:15 said, "And his inward affection is more abundant toward you." He loves you on the inside and out. He knows your heart. He knows your desires. Well, I my faith's weak. I'm needing a little more faith. 1 Timothy 1:4 says, "And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus." Stand with me. But most of all, if you're in this house tonight and you need salvation, you've never repented of your sin or you have unrepentant sin in your life. Here's what scripture tells us. 2 Corinthians 4:15, "For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many resound to the glory of God." Isaiah went on to say, "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts, and let him return unto the Lord." Now, if you're looking for some great theological study on what that means, forsake your wicked ways means quit sinning. That's the deep hidden meaning. And let the unrighteous man his thoughts change what you've been thinking about, what your mind's been dwelling on. Let him return unto the Lord. And he who the Lord will have mercy upon him and to our God for he will abundantly pardon. It don't matter what you've done, where you've been, who you are, God has abundant pardon for you in this house. Now, I started studying this message and I got real confused. Praise team, get on out here. I'm gonna have you help me here in just a minute. Pastor Anthony If you wouldn't care. I want that other mic. You got it. You got it right there. Thank you. They already got it for me. I'm going to scare y'all to death because I'm even going to sing tonight a little bit. Lord will I I had some songs going over in my mind. I I I started studying. I kept hearing Brother Nathan Milstead singing exceedingly abundantly above all you could ask. God is able to do just what he said he would do. Man, and just about the time I I I got that out of my mind, I would hear Sister Francis singing, "I'm living in the overflow." And I'm, "Man, I'm I'm Are both those songs those?" But see, you're dealing with an old school preacher. >> So, there was another song jumped up on me. We're going to sing in just a minute. And here's what I want to have happen when we start singing. If you're in this house, I'm going to give you just a little head start. If you've been living in excess and you want to come to Abundant Life, you get to come. But I ain't going to wait on you long cuz we're all who are enjoying abundant life. We're going to gather in for a season of saying, "God, I thank you for abundance. How can I live in your abundance? All right. So, here's what's going to happen. We're going to sing. If you're needing excess out of your life, you come first. I promise you, you won't come alone. There'll be prayer warriors come with you and then we're all going to make our way in. But the old school song that was in my mind, it goes something like this. My God is more than enough. He can supply all my need. He is my El Shai. He always looks out for me. Jehovah Gyra. Hey, he my God. Come on now. Come on. He Jehovah Gyra. Yeah. Yeah. He is my God. Help me sing praise to him. My God is more than enough. He can supply all my needs. He is my help to die. He always looks out for me. Jehovah Gyra. He is my Jehovah Gyra. He is my God. All the earth is his and the full is there. Everything that I need, you can be. Yeah. Yeah. >> He is my God. >> Yes, he is. Yes, he is. Jehovah. >> Sing that again. All of the earth. Hey. Yeah. Yeah. All of the earth is his and the fullness thereof. Everything that I need to make me short of Jehovah Gyra. He is my God. Jehovah Gyra. He is my God. So why should I worry? Why should I worry about the highs and the lows, the ups and the downs? When my God is more than he can sur, he always looks out for me. Jehovah Gyra is my God. >> Yes, he is. Yes, he is. Yes, he is. Hey. Hey. Oh my. He is my God. >> So why should I worry? So why should I worry about the highs and the lows, the ups and the downs? When I know my God is more than enough. >> I said he's more than enough. Don't you know it tonight? I said he's more than enough. He's more than he does. I said he's more than he >> is Jehovah Gyro. >> He is my God. >> Yes, he is. Yes, he is. He is Jehovah Gyra. He is my should I worry. So why should I worry about the high ups and the downs when by my faith I know my God is more than enough. >> Would you think about that? Think about all your blessings. Think about all he's done for you. I said he's more than enough. When I had trouble, when I had trials, when I had a test, I said, "You're you're more than enough." >> Yes, he is. More than enough. He is more than enough. More than enough. >> He is Jehovah Gyra. He is my God. He is. Yes, he is. Yes, he is. Jehovah Gyra. He is my God. >> Would you love him right now in your own way and in your own voice? Say, "Jesus, I love you. Jesus, I love you. Jesus, I repent of my sins. Jesus, I give all to you, Lord. I want to live in abundance. I want the abundant blessings you have for me." Hey. Hey. Hey. >> >> Yeah. Yeah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Glory. Glory. Would you go from this house tonight claiming abundant blessings in Christ? Go meeting Monday with a smile on your face, your shoulders squared, knowing that Jesus is walking right with you. He's in front. He's behind. He's on each side. He's up above. He's down below. That's another song I better not sing anymore.
