brother Mark Morgan clap your hands to God for what he's done praise God Hallelujah the only way that the elder brother who was in the field knew that something was going on in the house is the Bible said he heard certain sounds coming from his father's house and for all of you who think that dancing and rejoicing is not a part of it the Bible said he heard music and dancing that's the way he knew something was going on in the house it's not time for the church to get quiet Hallelujah well praise God hallelujah I feel that kind of wild something on me for some reason here today amen going to read to you from the book book of Zechariah all right I tell you I'm going to 1 Samuel First 1st Samuel chapter 17 verse number 34 we give honor today to brother Mangan this local church and these sponsors may the Lord bless them in Jesus name to all of our officials may the Lord bless them amen 1 Samuel 17:34 and David said unto Saul thy servant kept his father's sheep and there came a lion and a bear and took a lamb out of the flock and I went out after him and smoted him and delivered it out of his mouth when he arose against me I CAU him by his beard and smelled him and slew him my servant slew both the line and the bear and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them seeing he hath defied the armies of the Living God David said moreover the Lord that delivered me out of the Paul of the lion and out of the Paul of the bear he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine and Saul said unto David go and the Lord be with thee amen Zachariah chapter 4 verse number 10 for who hath despised the day of small things for who hath despised the day of small things things then he goes on and actually what he's saying is is that the eyes of the Lord going be good are upon small things right small things that's my subject today small things small things amen our attitude toward Small Things amen let's praise him one more time Hallelujah I love you Jesus I Praise Your Great Name Lord in the name of Jesus praise God hallelujah amen you may be seated give honor to my pastor here today brother Keys amen may the Lord bless him praise God I I know a lot of men who are tough or at least they think they're tough okay matter of fact I've got a friend and many of you know him by the name of David shatwell and I've told said David I don't think you even know your own strength anybody's got one eyebrow that goes all the way across like that and looks as mean as he does Amen he'll hear about that one praise God and I i' I've seen him do some amazing things but I don't I don't ever recall being with anybody that when we got to the zoo they jumped over the fence into the lion cage or the bear cage just to prove that they could whip a lion or a bear okay got some tough men here today and some of you I want on my side amen but I doubt very seriously that we have anybody here today that would just could do some of the things that it's mentioned here unless of course the anointing of the Holy Ghost come upon you are the right circumstances but most people most people don't just go pick a fight with a bear or fight with a lion amen and here's David the Bible says that he's he's he's rehearsing to Saul why he should be able to go into the valley of Eli and to fight Goliath and the story that he uses that qualifies him is this I was keeping my father's sheep and a came and a lion and

it took one of the Lambs and I went out after him and slew him actually he said I knocked him down took the lamb out of his mouth and he arose to slay me but I slew him okay can I tell you today that one of the worst things that we can do is to engage in spiritual activity and never intend to finish the battle or to finish the job amen and the worst thing you can do is to provoke your enemy and never intend to take his head off because if all you do is just knock him down and you let him get back up he's just an irritated enemy and trust me if you understand the nature of your enemy he's coming at you with everything that he has that's the reason why when David knocked Goliath down he knew the next step he learned the next step when he was fighting bears and lions because he knew what would happen if Goliath got up so before Goliath could ever even get to his knees David's got his sword in his hand and he's cutting his head off oh praise God you know I I I purposed in my soul I wasn't going to talk about this today but the worst thing we can do is to provoke and to have a a sporadic Spirit of financial giving in the church and just do it one time and then back away from it and say well we sacrifice one time that's all that matters all you've done is provoke the enemy of finan to come against you the spirit of giving has got not just to come one time or two times it's got to be a Perpetual continual flow throughout the Church of the Living God well praise God hallelujah and I I want you to think about this now just think about this here's David and he said Saul what qualifies me today to fight Goliath is the fact that I was keeping my father's sheep now I'm going to tell you something I now maybe you've never looked at this from a really human perspective but you know it would have been a lot easier for David just to have said ah man it's just a little lamb and come springtime there'll be some more little lambs it's just it's just one it's not really all that important just a little lamb and that's you know Dad won't miss one praise God but see David understood something there's two things that David understood number one he understood the nature of his enemy if I give you one today the next time you're hungry you'll be right back and then after that you'll just keep coming back until eventually it won't be just one little lamb I won't have any of the flock left because you've you've come and dined on my father's sheep so we just might as well get it settled right now I'm not giving you one today and if you by chance could live I won't give you one tomorrow it is settled my God have mercy it settled he understood the nature of his enemy and number two he understood these sheep don't belong to me they belong to my dad I don't have the right to decide what lives and dies I was entrusted with something very precious and I've got to make sure when I report to my dad that I can kill him I've kept the faith I've done a good job I kept everything that you entrusted into my care Hallelujah can I tell you you now I want I want to I want to say it carefully see when David got to the valley of ela and he seen Goliath he he said the issue here is in this statement who is this uncircumcised Philistine okay that he had defied the armies of the Living God the way I said I think the Bible teaches us is circumcision is a type of water baptism the issue that David Drew over the fight was not the fact that it was just some enemy but he was uncircumcised and he knew that the issue was over Covenant rights can I tell you something here today that there's a lot of folks that say well the real battle is in the valley of elah when somebody comes and puts a gun to my head and tells me to back up on acts 238 I got news for you that battle is not decided in the valley of ela that battle is decided back on the and heill when nobody's looking and the enemy comes into your life and he

tells you it's just a small thing it's really not all that important how about this well there's only one verse for it and the Bible doesn't talk a whole lot about it it's really very insignificant devil let's just get something settled right now Faith is lot a lot like a Sheepfold there are many components to it and if I give you something that appears to be insignificant today you'll be back tomorrow until I don't have anything left so we're just going to draw the line in the sand now and get it on right now I come today to tell the devil we're not giving you one thing not one thing Hallelujah woo anybody feel that away here right now see God said okay David I've got I've got a little test I need to put you through I've got something much greater in mind for you but before I entrust to you the true Riches of my kingdom I'm going to test you with small things good Small Things yes sir Jesus gives us a little Parable and he says it like this he said there was a certain man certain nobleman who came to receive a country and he came and he said okay now I'm going to depart for a season but I'm coming back and he calls 10 10 stewards together and he says that I'm going to give to each one of you a pound occupy till I come come the word occupy there actually means to gain by trading in other words when I return back to receive this Kingdom finally I expect you not just to have the initial investment I expect it to have grown and for you to have more my God Mercy that's why I cannot understand people who have been have been recipients of the goodness of God's grace and of the great truth of God only not for it to increase but for it to decrease I I can't understand that I'm telling you everything about God is not he's decreasing it's increasing I cannot understand people who tell you I have less convictions today than I had 10 years ago I cannot understand that for the life of me I cannot understand that if anything you ought to have more today than you had yesterday or five or 10 years ago Hallelujah but the problem is is the enemy wants to insult you here's listen listen the pound was about $15 US the man owned the whole country but he only gave them a small thing he said here it is it was almost an insult to them I mean this is all we get you got to be kidding this is crazy that's okay you you don't understand I mean and then listen to this he left them in a hostile environment to gain he said it's not even going to be easy for you to make Gain they're not going to be friendly toward you for the game but when I come back I am expecting some return on this initial investment my God have mercy Jesus the test is is when it's almost an insult this is all I've got this is all you're giving me is just the earnest of my inheritance this is it a little church this is a small Ministry like this you got to be kidding this is all that I get I'm ready for the big time I'm ready for whatever none no no no no I'm going to give you a pound y it's almost an insult to you but what you don't understand is I have entrusted something to your care and when I return when I come back into your life when I periodically come back by I'm going to check and make sure that you got a little bit more today I I don't want to get too far into this part of it but listen I really didn't want to get here but see Jesus gave us a little understanding about that when he come to the parable of what

we call the prodigal he said there was two sons that came or there's a son that came to his father and said father give me my goods and the Bible says that he delivered his living among them he gave it to both sons the law required that he had to do it it said to the eldest he got twoth thirds and to the younger a third he said here it is it's yours the younger you know what he did he went out wasted on righteous living and woke up one day and he's in a famine but check out what he says he come to his senses and said hey wait a minute I could go back to the farm and just be a servant yeah not a son but a servant even the servants in My Father's House have bread that they need and even to spare let me ask you a question all of you that think that all God's interested in is giving you just what you need I got news for you he said the servants in the father's house have even more than they need not the sons but the servants Hallelujah and so the son comes and S said I'm going back home his father met him embraced him get all that wonderful stuff reinstated him gave it all back to him and then I told you a little bit earlier thisen this is the thing I don't understand about the story is here's this elder brother and he's he's out in the field and parties going on down at the house and and I mean it's a great celebration he's out in the field and finally he sends a servant he says what see sir what what's going on down the house well your brother come home and your dad killed the fatty calf and that's why you hear all this celebration rejoicing he said would you tell my dad I'd like to talk to him I'm not going to the Celebration I don't believe in all that celebrating stuff I'm trying to get off that and I can't it just keeps I just don't believe in all that rejoicing stuff I just think it ought to be very dignified and I think that everything ought to be refined and we ought to present a certain image to the church and so finally the father has to leave the party he has to come out of a Sunday night church service and he has to go out to the vestibule and there's one of them Precious Little Darlings what's wrong I tell you what's wrong you never killed a fatted cat for me and beside that here's the point father I have never transgressed against you I've kept all of your Commandments What would this thing be if it wasn't for people like me and the father said what you got to be kidding now listen if I read it right I think and he divided unto them his living and this boy just said and yet thou never gavest me a kid and his dad's thinking a kid I gave you the whole Farm you own all the cows all the Bulls all the calves coming you own the servants you own everything and you're standing here telling me that I never gave you anything you me tell you what the 15th chapter of Luke is about it's about two boys that did not want to accept responsibility one of them said I don't want it I'm just going to go out and waste M backslide have a great time the other said well let me ask you a question what is the worst when you really come down to it which is the worst you got somebody sitting on the Pew you got somebody has all this stuff you got somebody that owns the farm they got everything that the father could ever give them and they're sitting out here instead of being down at the corporate office running the farm they're out in the field reminded God of everything they've done and not done and kept something's got to happen to us my friend we are going to have to assume responsibility and the responsibility of it starts with a small thing I I I I I was preached a few weeks ago at to Lake Charles and and early Sunday morning I don't like I don't like this early stuff I don't like anything early and early I know all you that get up and folks and I understand that but I I sorry brother Haney and I figur God's going to talk to somebody in dreams so some of us got to

be asleep somewhere so he can so he can do it y'all just get your visions and I'll take the dreams praise God hallelujah sorry Elder thank you amen and so about 10 after 5 I I got up to the desk and I said okay Lord what are you trying to tell me and he gave me this word poverty I said well poverty why are most Pentecostals in poverty and I said well Lord I knew I okay God you want to help me here poverty he said let me tell you my definition of poverty yes Lord someone who does not want to assume the burden of responsibility amen amen oo a lot of people stay trapped in spiritual poverty Financial whatever because they just refuse to accept the responsibility of things then he said I'll tell you my definition of blessing okay blessing is somebody who has assumed the responsibility and the burden of responsibility because to whom much is given yes sir and all of you sitting out there saying well one of these days when God gives me a million dollars I'm going to give it to the missionaries and I'm going to help the cause and I'm going to give it to this evangelist and I hope I'm on that list and I'm going to give it to all this stuff and just as soon as God gives me a million dollars I got news for you before God ever gives you a million dollars he might give you $750 a week and says let's see what you do with that y'all ready better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit and be not Hasty in thy Spirit to be angry for anger resteth in the bosom of fools say not thou what is the cause that the former days were better than these for thou Dost not inquire wisely concerning this he said it's an unwise person who compares the present to the past and he said it is a fool who looks at it and says better better better matter of fact I wrote it down this morning he said is the impatient man it's an impatient man that must arraign according to his Notions he Rebels against the ordained order of events the same impatient causes a man to compare the present to the past and some have become impatient with small things and therefore try to help God case in point Abraham I'm going to give you a son and Abraham becom impatient uhhuh and said you know what I'm going to do I think I'll just help God out this is not happening as fast and besides that that I am insulted by my name because my name Abraham means I am the father of many nations and every time I tell you my name you're going to ask me but where are your children and I don't have any sons right now but despise not thou the day of small things Abraham don't become impatient with the day of small things because better is the end of a thing than the beginning and if you can just wait imp patience because impatience possess ye your soul Hallelujah and there's a lot of people that become impatient all right because they kept saying it's too small it's just too small and these are just just little lambs and it's too

small I've got anointing resting on my life I've had a prophet prophesy that I was going to the throne and here I am with these small things but the prophet said despise not thou the day of small things because all the small thing is is a test it's whether or not you'll be faithful with the small all thing that God says before I can give you what I really want to give you I've got to test you to see if you're a faithful steart with a small thing my God have mercy oh Jesus Jesus you me tell what they were facing I'm trying to Hur you me tell what they were facing they're back trying to rebuild the Temple they've got the wall up they trying to rebuild the Temple and they've got all this debris over has been pushed aside from the old Temple and the rubble and stuff and even it's intimidating and folks are coming along and like gu said when you look at this you you you say it's nothing it's in your eyes compared to the first one it's absolutely nothing it's it's nothing he said but listen listen despise not thou the day of small things my eyes are upon this small thing and the glory of the latter shall be greater than that of the former Jesus Mercy God have mercy Jesus Jesus we see the Revival of the book of Acts we see Apostolic Ministry functioning we see a church that's baptizing thousands but yet we look at what we have and we like we compare it we compare it look at what we've got what they had my God have it's like we don't have anything what do we even have look how small this thing is but yet I hear the holy ghost telling us today don't despise thou the day of small things the story is not over yet and better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof this is not finished the last chapter has not been written Hallelujah no it's not over it is not over it is not over my God have mercy he said I'm going tell you what I'm going to do he said my eyes are upon that's what he told Zachariah but then when he got to talking to Hagi the prophet he said listen I'm tell you he said there's some great things about to happen he said I know that you say within yourself it's like nothing when you compare it to the original but he said I want you to know that my spirit remaineth among you and yet once in a little while I'm going to shake the heavens and the earth and the Sea and the dry land I want you to be strong it's not over I know what you see right now and I know what you think but it's not finished yet it is not over yet no absolutely not he said not only that but he said I'm going to tell you something you don't have enough money I if I you know if I've heard it once I've heard it a million times boy if I just had the money I could do this and that and I could just we just had a little more money and I got a I got a I got a vision but just don't have finances to now guy you're looking at all this stuff and you're saying it's nothing but I just need to remind you that I'm about to shake the heavens and the Earth and and not only that but I also need to tell you that the gold is mine and the silver is mine and I'm trying I'm trying wow he comes back he comes back and he says now to the servants I want to see what you did with your pound and the first one said sir I invested it here's 10 lbs and he said well well because thou had been faithful in small things I am going to give you 10 cities now I don't know how you teach that but the way I've always been taught the way I say it is it's talking about the Judgment when he comes back for the kingdom and all the stuff that literally see I've heard people say well the reason why God saved me is that to praise him well I think when you see the goodness of the Lord and what God's done for you that you shouldn't be able but to praise him but what God saved you for was not to praise him

sorry because if that's the case then it means that it is not a gape love it means he did what he did so you'd give him something back uhhuh I think that we could scripturally say that the reason why he saved you is because he has a great plan ahead that you are to literally Rule and to reign with him so before I give you what I want you to judge and to rule over in the next life I'm going to test you with some stuff in this life and there's a test of two things that God gives every one of us that they're a test it's your time and your money those are the test amen and he said now before I give you what I really want to give you I'm want to give you some small things and then the other come back and he said I I've Got 5 lbs very well I'm going to give you five and finally the last one come up and he said listen I took what you gave me and I buried it in a napkin I still have the initial investment yeah I kept it but I don't have anything else that's probably what the writer of Hebrews meant when he said not forsaking not not forsaking but wherefore leaving the principles of the doctrine let us go on because a lot of folks are content even preachers to say well I still got what I started out with but that's it yeah that's it he said you and the guy said but I know that you're an a Ste man a Stern man of judgment he said I'm going to judge you out of your own statement this is what he said before I entrust to you cities yeah I'm going to test you with some small things now I know what that's talking about no but I've got to confess to you not at Lake Charles I felt a spirit of greed get on me and I told the Lord why do I have to wait for then to get my cities I'd kind of like to have some of it now now you believe whatever you want to believe but here's what I heard him say Well done well done is it possible that in the next World to come that there will be another Alexandria and that God is testing you now in your acts of judgment to determine what he gives you then come on I lost some of you right there he said I've given you my authority now I want to see what you do with it now not then I want to see what you're going to do with it now I want to see if you can get some gain now could it I don't know brother Keys be there's another Modesto coming and God's saying but here's what I like about it he didn't just say City he said cities and there oh I feel it on me right now and there's a lot of folks are not going to receive their reward because they refuse to keep it and to gain and so God has to take things and cities that he intended for you to rule in the next World and says I'm going to give it to somebody who has been faithful with what I've already G that's the reason why the busy keep getting busier and people who are pushing and shoving for gain you can say they're crazy an egotistical all you want to but they understand a principle there's a lot riding on what I'm doing with what God's giving me right now and I cannot Shir my responsibility oh now now I want to get into some stuff here real quickly I'm I'm really I'm trying to find the runway may have to Circle for a while but I'm trying to find it praise God Amen little f a little fog now God bless you sir I can't believe this I'm not even preaching about giving yet and here it is praise God Amen now now here's the deal Simon Peter and them have been on this boat and they're they fished all night and they caught absolutely nothing and so they're all washing their Nets they put them up and they're going home to rest and Jesus climbs on this boat he says you launch out to the deep

and let down your nets for a draw and you've heard it preached we all heard it preached about the difference between the plurality of what Jesus said which was Nets and Simon's really Disobedience by only casting out a net and here's Simon throwing out this Net One net I'll pacify you Lord because see we're not going to catch anything we didn't catch anything last night it's the wrong time to day catch anything so but you know just just want you to know that I'll go ahead and do it and all of a sudden I I just wonder what s and Peter thought when he started pulling on that net I got of got an idea I think in his mind it was kind of something like this stupid stupid stupid you are so stupid now listen he's got one breaking net and it fills his boat and then he has to call for the neighboring Pastor to come over oh boy I lost about half of you right there and he said listen he said we're having such a Revival my building is not big enough to house it so can can I pray them through and send them down to your church oh oh that's what we had here that's what we had here but if they go to John and James Boat who's going to get TI if if if I do that I can't get the fastest growing Sunday school award Lord deliver me from meddling right now in Jesus name said can you imagine that such a Revival in your church that it just spreads out to all the area churches and all this stuff and it just filters out through there with one breaking net I wonder what would have happened if he would have obeyed what Jesus asked him to do and would have thrown out Nets I wonder what kind of catch he would have got then he probably could have retired a wealthy fisherman on one day's catch now now here when I was a kid brother y this is the way we used to fish You' go down to the local Kmart or Walmart and you would buy you a zepco 202 man that was a prized possession and it the kind of bait you use determined you fish you know now if you're going to catch catfish you have to go get you some treble hooks and fish off the bottom and get you some old nasty smelly stink bait or chicken liver or something that God only knows what it is and that's why because that's the kind of fish you're going to catch and if you decide to catch crappie or bass or something you have to change your bait yeah right sure with so we all use particular kinds of bait to catch particular kinds of fish but when you're lying fishing you can only catch one fish at a time right and there's there's times for line fishing if you want to catch a big trophy bass you got to get something kind of Glitters and you'll catch here in just a second praise God but Jesus didn't tell Simon Peter Simon I want you to get you one line and throw it out and get you one little fish now here's Simon Peter Pastor in a boat sinking and he's got all these flopping fish in there and he's he fall at the feet of Jesus said depart from me for I'm a sinful me any why I said that because I really didn't believe what you told me to start with because I was letting my past determine my future and I was looking at a day of small things thinking it's never going to change yes sir now he's got a sinking boat full of fish and he's at the feet of Jesus and listen to what Jesus says from hence forth Thou

shalt catch men I fix the fuss with some of you here the only precedent that Simon Peter had on how to catch men was not a zepo 202 well I'm just content to pray one or two through on Sunday night boy I'm going after the mayor of the city so I better get me a good spinner bait well these are some folks over here that don't quite matter when they're on the wrong sides of the tracks it don't matter what we throw them wrong color anyway no the only presentent they had on how to catch fish was not a single line but it was a net it was a multitude of fish that's the reason why Simon wasn't shocked on the day of Pentecost when 3,000 folks were talking in tongues because he said this is nothing new I remember a boat sinking and fish flopping and Jesus saiding this is how you're supposed to catch men put your line up and get you a net woo Hallelujah better sit down now a nette is taking all these little different lines and weaving them together taking all kinds of diversity of Ministries and gifts and talents and saying you know what I could go out here and catch one or two by myself but we could do a whole lot better I'm sorry I I realize I just mess you now we've done it overseas we've done it overseas we've thrown out Nets overseas but boy when it comes to good old America we're kind of like well you know I mean you know I just I just want to get me one little zipco 202 and just you know just a few in my boat and that'll be fine and everything's glorious and I'll get it up to where it's self-supporting and I can go to because of the times and dress nice and not have to worry about it I just keep throwing it out and keep throwing it out I've got news for you something something is changing in the spirit God have mercy I said something is changing in the spirit it's not time for us to try to do it as individuals it's time for the North American Church to understand the principle of net fishing and I'm standing here today telling you what we've seen overseas we can see in the United States of America if we just get together and throw out a nck hallelujah hallelujah I got to get never mind never mind never mind never mind listen let let let me tell you something let me tell you something I I I I don't like people who promote self agendas and all this stuff and please please please please please please I hope I come across right Spirit my God how do we reach these cities come on one lone fishing pole I understand that that works and there's a time for all that but if we really believe that the fullness of the Gentiles is about to be I feel the prophetic touch coming on me now I stood in Manila at the headquarters Church a few years ago and I've been used of God in the spirit of Prophecy but never in my life felt anything like what come on me I realized when it happened I had stepped into something so much bigger than I was I tapped into the past the present and the future I'd reach back and touch Prophecies of old and this was what the Lord spoke through me what I will be again in Manila next year will be the start of the last Gentile Harvest I will one more time thrust my sickle into the Gentile Nations and bring out of people for my name sake because the fullness of the Gentiles is about to be in Hallelujah the whole theme the whole theme of the Revival here was visitation and I understand the Holy Ghost has taking it further one plants one Waters and God gives the increase but can I
