Summary

Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.

Fascinated with the fragments

  • The preacher opens from the Lord asking the disciples how many baskets of fragments they took up, and says God is fascinated with the fragments people throw away.
  • He notes that God made the greater light and the lesser light alike, and does not despise the lesser thing he has made.
  • He points to God forming man out of the dust of the ground as proof that God delights to work with lowly, broken material.

Scriptures: Mark 8:19-21; Genesis 1:16; Genesis 2:7

Fragments that did not fail

  • The widow's handful of meal and little oil did not fail, because she gave her fragment to God first.
  • The dry bones in the valley were fragments God could breathe on and raise up again.
  • He urges the hearers to bring God his portion in their giving instead of holding back the fragment.

Scriptures: 1 Kings 17:9-16; Ezekiel 37:1-10; Malachi 3:10

Great faith and the seeking shepherd

  • The woman who asked only for the crumbs that fall from the table shows that even a fragment of faith moves God.
  • The shepherd leaves the ninety and nine to seek the one lost sheep until he finds it.
  • The woman lights a candle and sweeps the house diligently for the one lost piece of silver.

Scriptures: Matthew 15:22-28; Luke 15:4-7; Luke 15:8-10

The brokenhearted and the appeal

  • The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart, and a broken and contrite heart he will not despise.
  • He healeth the broken in heart, proclaiming recovery and liberty, and gives beauty for ashes and the oil of joy for mourning.
  • Even two legs taken out of the mouth of the lion, and a tree cut down that sprouts again, show God working with what is left.
  • The appeal closes with the charge to gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost, and to bring our fragments to him.

Scriptures: Psalm 34:18; Psalm 51:17; Psalm 147:3; Luke 4:18; Isaiah 61:3; Amos 3:12; Job 14:7-9; John 6:12

Can we give the Lord a great praise today? He's worthy. If you love him, it ought to be easy to praise him. You're worthy of my praise. You're worthy of my worship. So good to be home today and I love this church. I love each and every one of you all. So many friends, so many memories, people that are family to me and I want to say thank you for allowing me to be home today and to give great great great honor. There's nothing really more that I could ever say about what has already been said about the Mcool family. Uh Bishop and Sister Mcco, happy birthday by the way. uh are two of the greatest human beings to ever walk the face of the planet. And they are living legends, apostolic icons, and I'm so thankful for them. Thankful that they uh are my bishop and and sister Mcool. I'm thankful that they are in my life. I give honor to pastor and sister Mcool. And uh just two of the classiest people you'll ever meet. Amazing people. I love and appreciate them. Pastor and Sister Whitley and East and missing Pastor Anthony and his beautiful family today. And uh glad my family is with me today. Those that traveled with me from Arkansas and those that live here. I give them honor today. Thankful that each and every one of you are here today. If you have your Bibles, turn with me to the book of Mark. Mark the 8th chapter. I'll begin reading with verse number 19. Mark the 8th chapter. Verse number 19, Jesus speaking here. He said, "When I break the five loaves among 5,000, how many baskets full of fragments took you up?" They said unto him, 12. And when the seven among 4,000, how many baskets full of fragments took you up? And they said, Seven. Verse 21. And he said unto them, "How is it that ye do not understand?" Often times when we hear preaching, teaching, or just discussion about how Jesus fed thousands with just a couple of McFish sandwiches, all of the attention goes to how many were fed. And rightfully so. That is an amazing testimony, an example of the Messiah's multiplying power. But in these three scriptures that I just read, Jesus doesn't just remind his disciples about the miracle of multiplication or how many thousands that were fed on those days. But he reminds them of the fragments that were gathered because Jesus is fascinated with the fragments. >> And that's what I want to preach to you for a few minutes here today. Fascinated with the fragments. Would you help me pray today? Lord, we love you and we thank you for your word. We thank you for your spirit. We thank you for your anointing. We're thankful for each and every person gathered here today. God, anoint me to preach your anointed word. God, speak to our hearts and our lives. God, let us leave here different than what we walked in. And we give you praise for who you are and what you're going to do in this house. In the mighty matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen. Can you clap your hands one more time? And the Bible says not only to clap, but to shout. Can you add a shout to your hand clap? Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. There is so much to unpack in these stories. There are different angles that we can take. THERE ARE SE SEVERAL DIFFERENT WAYS to preach them. Nuggets that can be dug out of these stories. First and most obvious, like I mentioned a few minutes ago, would be the fact that Jesus can take so little and do so much with it. And I could preach today that even if you don't have much, he can take it and he can use it today. OR WE COULD DISCUSS HOW JESUS SAID you give them to eat. And I could talk about how that God wants us to be a part of the miracle that he wants to perform here today. OR OR HOW ABOUT WHEN JESUS SAID, "BRING THEM hither to me." And that we just need to bring whatever we have to the master today. And and I could preach about how he took the food and he blessed the food and he broke the food and he gave the food and then he they gathered the leftovers. And I could talk about how that those are the five steps of ministry. The taking, the blessing, the breaking, the giving, and the gathering. Or or maybe we could talk about how everyone was filled. THAT GOD CAN FILL YOU UP TODAY. and he he NEVER JUST BARELY GETS THE JOB DONE, but that he always goes above and beyond what we need him to do today. And and if you're here and you like to dis to debate or discuss or argue scripture, we could debate. We could discuss and we could argue about how many were fed because who really knows? Because the Bible says that 5,000 men were fed and 4,000 men were fed. And that number doesn't include women and children that were fed that day. So there could have been tens of thousands of people on that historic day that were fed. And if the women and children weren't even counted or included in the number that was fed, that means that the little lad with the lunch wasn't even counted in the miracle. And if you're a numbers person like I am, we could play on the numbers of baskets that were filled with the fragments. During the feeding of the 5000, the Bible says that there were 12 baskets filled with fragments. And ironically enough, Jesus had 12 disciples that helped him out with handing out the food. And it's ALMOST LIKE HE WAS saying to them, "Here you go, fellas. I'm not going to forget about you. you helped me with the miracle. You took part of the miracle and I'm going to take care of you today. Or or with the feeding of the 5000. There were seven baskets filled with the fragments. AND WE CAN PLAY ON THE number seven. That's the NUMBER OF COMPLETION. GOD CREATED everything in six days. On the seventh day, he rested and and made a week on our calendar and he completed creation. The children of Israel marched seven days around Jericho. On the seventh day, they marched seven TIMES AND THEY SHOUTED AND GOD BROUGHT THE WALLS DOWN of Jericho. He gave them complete victory. THE SYRIAN CAPTAIN NON, he he had leprosy. And the PROPHET TOLD HIM TO GO DIP SEVEN times in the River Jordan. And God gave him complete healing. THE WOMAN AT THE WELL THAT JESUS spoke to in Samaria, uh, she had been married five times. She was living with a man. She had six men in her life. And she was talking to the Jesus who was the seventh man in her life that would bring completion to her life. AND SO, WE COULD TALK ABOUT ALL THESE NUMBERS. WE COULD TALK ABOUT ALL THESE STATISTICS, BUT THE WORDS OF JESUS TO HIS DISCIPLES IN OUR ORIGINAL text this morning, THEY SEEM TO PAINT A DIFFERENT PICTURE TO PREACH. IT'S LIKE JESUS WAS SAYING, "I CREATED EVERYTHING. I created those fish. I CREATED THE INGREDIENTS in those loaves of bread. As a matter of fact, I created the hands that needed the dough and baked THE BREAD. THAT'S NO big deal for me to multiply what I have ALREADY CREATED. THE REAL story here, the real miracle here are the fragments. IT'S LIKE JESUS IS TELLING US THAT I DO MY BEST WORK WITH FRAGMENTS BECAUSE HE IS FASCINATED WITH THE FRAGMENTS TODAY. And if you really THINK ABOUT IT, THE FATHER HAS ALWAYS BEEN FASCINATED WITH THE FRAGMENTS. LOOK NO FURTHER THAN THE BEGINNING OF YOUR BIBLE, THE STORY OF CREATION. Genesis 1 and 16. AND GOD MADE two great lights, the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night. And he made the stars also. GOD MADE THE SUN and the moon. AND ALMOST AS AN AFTERTHOUGHT IN HIS RECOUNT OF CREATION, Moses mentions he made the stars. ALSO SEE THE STARS DON'T SERVE A PURPOSE LIKE THE SUN and the moon do. WE CAN'T SURVIVE WITHOUT THE sun or the moon, but we can survive without THE STARS. THE STARS ARE JUST FRAGMENTS OF A COSMIC CREATION. THE CREATOR WAS JUST SHOWING OFF WHEN HE MADE THE STARS BECAUSE HE'S FASCINATED WITH THE FRAGMENTS TODAY. Genesis 2:7, "AND THE LORD GOD MADE MAN of the dust of the ground, and he breathed into HIS NOSTRILS THE BREATH OF LIFE, and man became a living soul." WHAT IS DUST TODAY? DUST IS JUST FRAGMENTS OF MATTER that's made up of atoms. Everything we see, everything we touch, EVERYTHING WE KNOW is made of matter that is made of atoms which are nothing more than fragments. SO THE CREATOR OF THE universe use fragments as his building blocks because the creator IS FASCINATED WITH THE FRAGMENTS. And I've come to tell somebody ON THIS SUNDAY MORNING, IF ALL YOU HAVE ARE FRAGMENTS, THAT'S ENOUGH FOR GOD TO DO SOMETHING IN YOUR LIFE. HE CAN TAKE THE FRAGMENTS AND HE CAN MAKE SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL OUT OF THEM. First Kings 17. And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, Arise, get thee to Zerapath, which belongth to Zion, and dwell there. Behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee. So he rose, and he went to Zerapath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there. gathering sticks which are just fragments. And he called TO HER AND HE SAID, "FETCH ME, I PRAY A LITTLE, JUST JUST A FRAGMENT OF WATER in a vessel that I may drink." AND AS SHE WAS GOING TO FETCH IT, HE CALLED TO HER AND HE SAID, "BRING ME, I PRAY, THEE A MORSEL," which is once again just a fragment of bread in thy hand. AND HE SAID, "AS THE LORD THY GOD LIVETH, I HAVE NOT A CAKE, but just a handful, just fragments of meal in a barrel, and just a little, just a fragment of oil in a cruise. And behold, I'M GATHERING TWO STICKS. I'M JUST GATHERING A COUPLE OF FRAGMENTS, AND I'M GOING TO I'M GOING TO GO IN AND I'M GOING TO DRESS IT FOR me and my son that we may eat and die." SEE, SHE HAD FAITH TO DIE, BUT SHE DIDN'T HAVE FAITH TO LIVE. AND ELIJAH SAID UNTO HER,"FEAR NOT, BUT GO AND DO AS THOU HAST SAID, BUT MAKE ME THEREFORE a little, just a fragment of cake first, and bring it unto me, and after that for thee and thy son. For thus said the Lord God of Israel, the barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruise of oil fail until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth." And she went and she did according to THE SAYING OF ELIJAH. AND she and he and her house did eat many days. AND THE BARREL OF MEAL, THE fragments wasted not, neither did the crus of oil, THE FRAGMENTS FELL ACCORDING to the word of THE LORD WHICH HE SPAKE BY ELIJAH. THE FRAGMENTS WILL NOT FAIL BECAUSE OUR JEHOVAH GYRA, OUR PROVIDER, IS FASCINATED WITH THE FRAGMENTS. IF YOU'LL JUST GIVE THEM TO HIM TODAY, HE CAN DO EXCEEDINGLY AND ABUNDANTLY ABOVE ALL THAT WE ASK OR THINK. Second Kings 4, there was a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets. She came she came to Elisha and she said my husband is dead and he has left us with a tremendous amount of debt and uh I I don't have the money to pay for it. And uh HE HE'S COMING TO GET MY SON'S PAYMENT. AND NOTICE WHAT THE MAN OF GOD SAYS TO HER. HE SAYS, "WHAT SHALL I DO FOR THEE? Tell me what do you have in the house? SEE, GOD IS NOT CONCERNED WITH WHAT EVERYBODY ELSE HAS. HE WANTS TO KNOW WHAT do you have in the HOUSE TODAY? BECAUSE WHAT YOU BROUGHT TO THE HOUSE TODAY IS WHAT HE IS GOING to use for a miracle. What do you have in the house? AND AND SHE SAID, "I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING in the house, but just a just a little pot of oil, just fragments. IT'S IT'S NOT MUCH. IT'S NOT OF MUCH VALUE, ESPECIALLY ACCORDING UH UH to the to the bills that I have that are due. IT'S IT'S JUST A FRAGMENT OF OIL. IT'S NOT ENOUGH, MAN OF GOD. IT'S IT'S NOT GOING TO DO ME ANY GOOD COMPARED TO THE DEBT THAT I OWE. BUT NOTICE WHAT THE MAN OF GOD SAYS. HE SAYS, "Go borrow vessels." And if it HAD BEEN ME, I'D HAVE SAID, "GO BORROW VESSELS full of gold. GO BORROW VESSELS full of silver. Go borrow vessels full of cash. Go borrow vessels full of uh diamonds. GO GO GO BORROW VESSELS THAT HAVE SOMETHING IN THEM." BUT HE SAID, "GO BORROW VESSELS OF YOUR NEIGHBORS, even empty vessels." THAT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE UNLESS YOU REALIZE today how God operates BECAUSE GOD NEVER ENCOUNTERS SOMETHING THAT IS empty and LEAVES IT THE SAME WAY HE FOUND IT. THAT GETS ME EXCITED ON THIS SUNDAY MORNING THAT IF I COME HERE EMPTY, I DON'T HAVE TO LEAVE THE SAME WAY I WALKED IN. THE ONE WHO FILLS EMPTY THINGS IS IN THIS HOUSE TODAY. AND IF YOU CAME HERE EMPTY, YOU DON'T HAVE TO LEAVE EMPTY. IF YOU CAME HERE NEEDING, YOU DON'T HAVE TO LEAVE THE SAME WAY YOU WALKED IN TODAY. AND THEN HE SAID, "Borrow not a few." He didn't tell her how many. He just said, "Don't borrow too. Don't don't borrow just a little." In other words, he said, "The amount of the miracle that you get is directly determined by the amount that you're willing to put into the miracle. If you only borrow 10 vessels, 10 is all that's going to be filled. But if you borrow 10,000, 10,000 will be filled. And and the and he says, "Go in the house and shut the door and begin to fill these vessels." And and I would have loved to been there that day. I would have loved to watch this woman as she grabs the first empty vessel and she compares it to the fragment of oil that she has and she says, "THERE'S NO WAY THAT THIS LITTLE FRAGMENT of oil is going to fill this empty vessel." But she starts pouring out and it's filled. AND SHE GRABS another and it's filled. And she grabs another AND IT'S FILLED. AND ABOUT HALF A DOZEN into it, I bet she did a Pentecostal jig across her living room because she REALIZED THAT THE GOD THAT SHE WAS SERVING WAS FASCINATED WITH THE FRAGMENTS and could miraculously feel every single EMPTY VESSEL THERE THAT DAY. AND THE BIBLE SAYS THAT THE OIL DID NOT STOP FLOWING UNTIL EVERY VESSEL WAS FILLED. I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU TODAY, BUT THAT GIVES ME HOPE THAT AS LONG AS THERE'S AN EMPTY VESSEL HERE TODAY, THE ANOINTING WILL NOT STOP FLOWING. THE OIL WILL NOT STOP FLOWING. THE SPIRIT OF GOD WILL NOT STOP FLOWING. AS LONG AS THERE'S AN EMPTY VESSEL, AS LONG AS SOMEBODY NEEDS THE HOLY GHOST, UH, AS LONG AS SOMEBODY CAME HUNGRY AND THIRSTY FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS, YOU WILL NOT STOP THE FLOW OF THE SPIRIT HERE TODAY. And after they were all filled, the oil stayed. She says to the man of God, "They're all filled." And he said, "Go sell the oil. pay off the debt. That's all she asked for. And if you want to pay off my debt today, you sign that check. M A P I N. THAT'S ALL SHE ASKED FOR. BUT YOU GOT TO UNDERSTAND how God works. Cuz he didn't stop there. He said, "Pay off the debt and live off of the rest." You know what that tells me today? Not only can he take care of my today with my fragments, but he's going to take care of me tomorrow. He's going to take care of me next week. He's going to take care of me next month. He's going to take care of ME IN 2026. WHY? CUZ HE'S FASCINATED WITH THE FRAGMENTS. AND HE IS MORE THAN ENOUGH. HE'S OUR EL SHADAI. HE IS FASCINATED WITH MY FRAGMENTS TODAY. Ezekiel 37, the hand of the Lord was upon me, carried me out to the spirit of the Lord, and he set me down in the midst of the valley, which was full of bones, fragments. And he caused ME TO PASS BY THEM ROUND ABOUT, AND BEHOLD, they were very many in that open valley, and lo, they were very dry. And he said unto me, "Son of man, can these bones, can these fragments live?" Now research says that for bones to become dry it takes over 50 years. And he said these were very dry. So these these bones these fragments have been dead for longer than 50 years. So no wonder the man of God ask answers God's question with I don't know. You tell me God. And God said prophesy to these bones. PROPHESY TO THESE FRAGMENTS AND SAY, "OH YE BONES, OH ye fragments, hear the word of the Lord. THUS SAITH THE LORD GOD UNTO THESE BONES, unto these fragments. Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live, and I will lay senus upon you, and bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you shall live, AND YOU SHALL KNOW THAT I AM THE LORD." AND VERSE SEVEN IS WHERE THE POWER IS AT. THE REST OF IT'S NOT THAT DOESN'T BLOW MY MIND BECAUSE I know who God is. BUT VERSE SEVEN IS where the POWER COMES FROM. SO I PROPHESIED AS I COMMANDED. IT DOESN'T ANY DOESN'T DO YOU ANY GOOD FOR YOU TO HEAR WHAT GOD TELLS YOU TO DO AND YOU don't do it. THOSE FRAGMENTS WOULD HAVE NEVER LIVED AGAIN EVEN THOUGH GOD SAID THEY COULD IF THE MAN OF GOD WOULDN'T HAVE PROPHESIED. AND SO I'VE COME TODAY TO TELL SOMEBODY, YOU NEED TO PROPHESY TO THE FRAGMENTS THAT ARE IN your life. UH THAT BROKEN MARRIAGE THAT YOU THOUGHT WAS OVER, PROPHESY THAT MINISTRY YOU THOUGHT WAS OVER, THAT'S JUST FRAGMENTED, PROPHESY THOSE CHILDREN THAT ARE BACKSLID TODAY, THOSE FRAGMENTS OF WHAT THEY USED TO BE, I DARE SOMEBODY TO PROPHESY TO THE FRAGMENTS IN YOUR LIFE AND SEE WHAT GOD CAN DO. CUZ WHEN HE PROPHESIED, THERE WAS A NOISE AND A SHAKING. AND THE BONES, THE FRAGMENTS CAME TOGETHER, FRAGMENT TO FRAGMENT, BONE TO BONE, AND BEHOLD, LO, the senus and flesh CAME UPON THEM, AND THE SKIN COVERED THEM ABOVE, AND THERE WAS NO BREATH IN THEM. THEN HE SAID, "PROPHESY UNTO THE WIND. PROPHESY, SON OF MAN, SAY TO THE WIND, THUS SAYETH THE LORD GOD, COME FROM THE FOUR WINDS, OH BREATH, AND BREATHE UPON THESE SLAIN THAT THEY MAY LIVE. SO I PROPHESIED AS I HE commanded me, and breath came unto them, and they LIVED AND STOOD UPON THEIR FEET, AND EXCEEDING GREAT HARMONY. I WISH SOMEBODY WOULD PROPHESY TO THE FRAGMENTS IN YOUR LIFE TODAY AND WATCH WHAT THE ONE WHO IS FASCINATED. HE'S THE LIFEGIVER. HE'S THE ONE THAT PUTS BROKEN PIECES BACK TOGETHER. HE'S THE ONE THAT CAN TAKE YOUR FRAGMENTS AND MAKE THEM LIVE AGAIN. Pastor didn't tell me to preach this, but I'm going to tell you, even our tithe is a fragments. It's just 10% of our paycheck, but the financer is fascinated with our fragments. And look what he can do with the fragments of our finances. MALACHI 3:10, BRING YOU ALL the tithes. bring the fragments INTO THE STOREHOUSE THAT THERE MAY BE MEAT in my house and prove me now here with this is the only time IN SCRIPTURE WHERE GOD SAYS TRY ME AND TEST ME and see what I can do sayith THE LORD OF HOSTS IF I WILL NOT open the windows of heaven and POUR OUT A BLESSING THAT THERE SHALL NOT BE ROOM ENOUGH to receive it. Notice what he says. HE DID NOT SAY open the first state the first state bank of Tennessee's windows. HE DID NOT SAY OPEN BILL GATES windows checking account to his windows. He said I open the windows of heaven. And the last TIME I CHECKED THEY FILLED POTHOLES IN HEAVEN WITH GOLD. SO CAN YOU IMAGINE THE BLESSING THAT'S ON THE WAY IF YOU'LL GIVE HIM THE FRAGMENTS OF YOUR FINANCES? GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU TODAY. MATTHEW 15:22, "BEHOLD, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coast and cried unto him, saying, "Have mercy on me, oh Lord. Thou son of David. My daughter is grievously vexed with a devil." And he answered her, "Not a word. He ignores her." That would offend most of us. And then his disciples came and said, "Send her away, God. She's She's making a scene. She's embarrassing us. And so he answers her and he says, "I AM NOT sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel." So he ignores her. If that didn't offend you, the next thing would I'm not here for you. I I I'm going to ignore you. But then now I'm going to tell you I'm not here for you. AND THEN SHE CAME and she worshiped him saying, "Lord, help me." See, you need to understand something this morning. There is something different about praise and worship. Praise is easy. Anybody can praise God. There's no price to praise. Uh any let everything that has breath praise the Lord. All it takes is breath to praise God. But when you step out of praise and you step into worship like this woman did, she said, "I my daughter's grievously vexed and I know you just ignored me and I know that you just said you're not here for me, but I'm going to step out of my praise and I'm going to step into worship because when you step into a realm of worship, you get God's attention." and she worshiped him. And he said unto her, "It is not meat to take the children's bread and cast it to dogs." He ignored her. He said, "I'm not here for you." And now he's calling her a dog. And that ain't like today when you say, "What's up, dog?" That was an insult in those days. IF YOU WEREN'T OFFENDED THE FIRST TIME AND YOU WEREN'T OFFENDED the second time, you definitely were offended the third time. BUT SHE INSTEAD OF GETTING OFFENDED, SHE LOOKS AT HIM WITH A REVELATION THAT SHE GOT IN HER worship and SHE SAYS, "TRUTH, LORD. YET THE DOGS EAT OF THE CRUMBS WHICH ARE nothing more than fragments. THEY EAT THE FRAGMENTS THAT FALL FROM THE MASTER'S TABLE. And Jesus said unto her, "Oh woman, great is thy faith. Be it unto thee, even as thou wilt." And her daughter was made whole from that very hour. IT'S AS IF JESUS WAS SAYING TO HER, "FINALLY, SOMEBODY GETS IT. SOMEBODY UNDERSTANDS. SOMEBODY UNDERSTANDS THAT I AM FASCINATED WITH THE FRAGMENTS OF TODAY." Luke 15 speaks a parable saying, "What man of you having a hundred sheep if he loses just one? One out of a hundred is just a fragment. Does he not leave the 99 in the wilderness and go after that which is lost until he finds it?" And when he found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. When he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbors, saying, "Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep. I have found the fragment which was lost. And I say unto you that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner, one fragment that repenteth more than over 90 and nine just persons which have which need no repentance? Either what woman having 10 pieces of silver if she loses one piece, just a fragment, does he not light a candle and sweep the househ and seek diligently till she finds it? AND WHEN SHE HAD FOUND THAT FRAGMENT, SHE CALLETH HER friends and her neighbors, saying, "REJOICE WITH ME, FOR I HAVE FOUND the peace, THE FRAGMENT WHICH I HAD LOST." LIKEWISE, I SAY UNTO YOU, THERE IS JOY IN THE PRESENCE OF the angels of God, over one sinner, OVER ONE FRAGMENT THAT REPENTETH. CAN I TELL YOU TODAY THAT heaven rejoices over just one? WE GET WRAPPED UP IN NUMBERS UH AND WE TALK ABOUT A HUNDRED GETTING THE HOLY GHOST, A HUNDRED GETTING BAPTIZED. BUT JESUS SAID, "I GET EXCITED OVER THE FRAGMENTS." UH IF JUST ONE PERSON REPENTS, IF JUST ONE PERSON GETS BAPTIZED IN THE ONLY NAME UNDER HEAVEN GIVEN AMONG MEN, WHEREBY WE MUST BE SAVED, JESUS. IF ONE SINNER REPENTETH, IF ONE PERSON'S FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST, ALL OF HEAVEN STOPS WHAT THEY'RE DOING. GABRIEL GRABS HIS TRUMPET. MICHAEL LAYS DOWN HIS SWORD. THE ANGELS THAT ARE DECLARING, "HOLY, HOLY, HOLY." THEY START A PARTY IN HEAVEN. OH, I'D LOVE FOR GOD TO HAVE A PARTY IN HEAVEN TODAY BECAUSE ONE FRAGMENT CAME HOME. ONE SINNER REPENTED. THE BATTER BAPTISM TOOK PLACE. THE HOLY GHOST WAS POURED OUT OVER ONE ONE THING. THE FRAGMENT FINDER TODAY, he is fascinated with the fragments of our life. That word fragment defined it actually means a part broken to break something in pieces. That definition sheds a whole new light on scripture today because Psalms 34:18 says the Lord is nine to them that are of a broken heart fragments. And he saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Psalms 51:17, "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit fragments. A broken and a contrite heart fragments, oh God, thou will not despise." I love how that is written in the message version of the Bible. It says, "I learned God worship when my pride was shattered. Heart shattered lives ready for love don't for a moment escape God's notice." Psalms 147 and3 he health he health he health he health he health he health he health he health he health he health he health the broken in heart fragments and he bindeth their wounds Luke 4:18 the spirit of the lord is upon me because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted he came to this earth to heal the fragments of our life who would prophesy about him more than anyone else Isaiah 61 and3 to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion to give him beauty for ashes. You know what ashes are? FRAGMENTS. THE OIL OF JOY FOR MOURNING. MORNING IS JUST THE FRAGMENTS of our life. UH THE GARMENT OF PRAISE FOR THE SPIRIT of heaviness which IS JUST FRAGMENTS. I'VE COME TO TELL SOMEBODY TODAY, you may have came here broken. You may have CAME HERE BROKENHEARTED. YOUR LIFE MAY BE BROKEN. YOUR MARRIAGE MIGHT BE BROKEN. THINGS IN YOUR LIFE ARE SHATTERED IN A MILLION PIECES. YOU are at the right place at the RIGHT TIME BECAUSE THE BROKEN HEART MENER IS fascinated with the fragments today. Amos 3:12, thus sayeth the Lord, as the shepherd take it out of the mouth of the lion two legs and a piece of an ear. Most would say give up on it. It's already gone. and it's already destroyed. But our great shepherd said, "I can still work with the fragments." Even if it doesn't look like much, even if it doesn't feel like much, even if you've GIVEN UP HOPE ON IT, he is fascinated with the fragments. And he can still work today as we stand. Job for 14 verse number seven. For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, just fragments, that it will sprout again, that the tender branch thereof will not cease. Though the root, which is just fragments, therefore wax old in the earth, AND THE STOCK, WHICH IS JUST A FRAGMENT OF WHAT USED TO BE, thereof die in the ground. Yet through the scent, not a deluge, not a flood, not a gallon, but just the scent, a fragment of water. It will bud and it will bring forth boughs like a plant. In other words, God said, even if your life is fragments, even if it seems like it's dead and gone, even if it seems like there is no hope, just that the sin of water, just a scent, just a fragment, God can still miraculously work, God can still do something amazing. As every head is bowed, every eyes closed. John 6 and 12. When they were filled, Jesus said to his disciples, "Gather up the fragments that remain that nothing be lost." See, we live in a world that gets rid of the fragments, that throws the fragments away because they're of no value. But Jesus said, "Gather the fragments that nothing be lost." And I can't help but think that he's saying the same thing here today at First Apostolic Church. He's saying, "Don't don't get rid of the fragments. Don't throw them away. Don't sweep them up in a dustpan. Don't get rid of them. But gather the fragments today. Bring them to the master's feet today because he doesn't want anything to be lost. He came to seek and to save that which is lost." So, if you're here today and you've got fragments in your life, you've tried doctors, you've tried medicine, you've tried drugs, you've tried alcohol, you've tried the things of this world, you've tried everything that you can to try to fix the fragments in your life and nothing has worked. Can I tell you today that if you'll just bring the fragments to him, he's fascinated with them. Watch what he can do with the fragments. Come on, if that's you today, would you step out of your seat? If you've never repented, if you never been baptized, if you've never been filled with the Holy Ghost, he's here today to do those things. He's here today to fix the fragments. He's here to mend the brokenhearted. He's here to heal that which is shattered in a million pieces. He's here TODAY TO DO WHATEVER YOU NEED HIM TO DO BECAUSE HE IS FASCINATED WITH the fragments. Come on. Would you just bring it to him today? He can't do it. He can't do anything with it if you don't bring it to him. You got to bring him the fragments. Say, "Here, God. I've tried to do things with him. I've tried to fix it, God. Nothing's worked. I've tried, God, and it's not worked for me. That preacher said that you can fix my fragments today." Oh, come on. Lay it at his feet today. Lay it at this altar today. He's able to do greater things than you can even imagine today if you'll just bring it to him and say, "Here, God, work with my fragments today."
