praise the Lord praise the Lord everybody praise the Lord amen let's let's give the Lord a hand clap of Praise right now my my my the spirit of the Lord is here I can feel him in the atmosphere hallelujah praise God if you're not feeling something your Wood's wet I'm telling you right now the spirit of the Lord is in this place and my goodness I we're so happy to be here tonight amen in this great great church the First Apostolic Church of Knoxville Tennessee amen you may be seated God bless you for a moment and uh I'm I'm just uh so happy uh to be a part of this the service this morning I'm telling you uh brother Nate he he hung the his hat on the moon that that I went looking for a cave when I left here amen I'm I'm a cave dweller and I because been there done that and just I appreciate that great word of God Amen brother uh the pastor he he asked me to preach and and I think we both felt we felt a confirmation of the Holy Ghost immediately I felt the chills of the Holy Ghost and an emotion that that rose up in us and I I believe I know that we are in the will of God and we have the mind of God tonight amen amen I want to first of all say that I'm so happy to have my beautiful wife for 5050 Years with me tonight amen and uh she praise the Lord she's put up with me for all these years Godly lovely woman and wherever she goes just she's just a wonderful person she had a fall here here a couple of weeks ago and and fell on her face and she's got a big bruise and what have you I didn't hit her I just just want to clarify that and uh but she's she's been a part of my Ministry for uh you know all these years and I appreciate it and I'm so happy uh brother Ed and sister Jessica have treated us uh Pastor you they have just took care of us I want you to know that as the pastor and uh made us feel right at home and of course charity and her family and all these good to see her and and you know when I found out they were leaving the church I was pastoring and u i I didn't want them to leave you don't want good people to leave you want bad people I'm I'm not bad people you want you and I I just you know I just didn't want them to leave but when I found out they were coming to Tennessee I felt much much better amen amen and I'm so glad that God has found a place for them here uh in this uh Church praise the Lord now the the influence of Bishop mul uh that he's had on my life over the years I'm going to actually I'm going to talk about a little bit in my message if you don't mind and of course your pastor over the years uh it's just uh it's been wonderful to see the work of God here in this beautiful city of Knoxville Tennessee praise the Lord and I I thank God for that and of course the the ministry of these these younger men Amen brother Nate and and and uh uh brother Anthony they just it's just it's it's all together and you are blessed beyond measure amen you are blessed beyond measure praise God let's stand again to our feet again God bless you and and we're so glad to have you tonight and I I'm going to try my best to be aware of the time but I told my wife I said I I'm not going to rush it no sir I'm just not going to rush this tonight I walked in here this morning and I felt such a spirit in the presence of God you you are to be so thankful that people can feel that when they come and I felt an at home Spirit now that's dangerous amen and uh but I felt right at home I I just I felt beautiful just a beautiful spirit in this place and I know the Holy Ghost is going to do something folks if you will obey the spirit of God and the word of the Lord tonight your Miracle is here if you will obey what you feel and what you hear amen God will baptize you with his spirit amen amen praise God praise God Amen I'm trying to keep it together and you get older you blubber a lot and uh but there there's just a wonderful spirit let let's go to the Book of John chapter 3 what a beautiful presence tonight praise God Amen John chapter 3 verse one there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus a ruler of the Jews the same came to Jesus by night and said unto him Rabbi everybody say Rabbi Rabbi it's important Rabbi we know that thou art a teacher come from God for no man can do these Miracles that thou doest except God be with him Jesus answered and said unto him verily verily I say unto thee except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God Amen I want to preach to us tonight on this thought and I'm going to lay a foundation if you will allow me but I want to talk about walking in the dust of the rabbi walking in the dust of the rabbi let's pray right now Lord we thank you for your presence we thank you for the Holy Ghost that's here I pray God for the anointing because I cannot be the voice of God if you're not in it Lord Jesus Jesus I'm praying that you would touch hearts and lives God I feel that there's someone that's hurting in this service tonight and you're going to heal that God I feel that there's somebody that's wanting Lord the Holy Ghost and you're going to baptize them I feel Lord that there's a miracle miracles in the house tonight and you're going to perform them Lord we pray for the anointing God in this place to the anoint the lips of clay for the word and the ears and hearts to receive and first us to react we thank you for that and give you glory and honor clap your hands unto the Lord and you may be seated God bless you tonight thank you Jesus praise God amen amen the um I've read into the hearing one of the oldest and most familiar stories of the New Testament dispensation as a matter of fact it would be a crowning Mark of the New Testament Apostolic people would hear and learn everywhere it's an age-old story of the meeting of the master amen and and the Pharisee it would be the meeting where the foundation would be laid for the new birth dispensation praise God say amen and uh Pharisee of course was named Nicodemus the Bible said he came to Jesus by night and we've heard messages you know preached about why he came and you know he was hiding something or whatever it might have been I don't know I don't I I almost feel like he was afraid to be around Jesus during the day but Untold preachers to preach that but the the story that we talked about or he talked about he said you must be born again amen now that that's that that is still the message of the hour you must be born again if you're not born again you need to get born again tonight amen in fact we're going to have the troubling of the water so you might as well get in line and say well if if they're going to baptize I want to get baptized too amen amen but but tonight I'm I'm going to talk about what Nicodemus called Jesus Amen in relation to him and in relation to our pastor now verse two Jesus or the Nicodemus he called Jesus Rabbi this is not that that you know that you know he didn't say that lightly and we're going we're we're going to understand that in a few moments in the Bible days the term Rabbi had a special condentation I looked the word Rabbi up in several commentaries and found some very interesting fact facts about it uh according to the origin of the title Rabbi in M Mt talk and the strongs encyclopedia it said the title Rabbi is that of a Palestinian sages who received of the Sanhedrin the laying on of the hands as part of the process in becoming a rabbi now listen to this Sage according to the D dictionary was a profoundly wise man especially one who who featured in ancient history or Legend and is a uh the adjective it means having or showing profound wisdom we heard about that this morning a little bit so this laying on of the hands was in accordance with the laying on of the hands of the is transmitted to The Unbroken succession by the elders understand that you in other words the elders had to lay hands on you and and this was part of the process of becoming a rabbi amen so in doing so they receive the authority over religious civil and criminal matters the word Rabbi literally meant master or teacher of course Nicodemus bears that out when he said Rabbi we know that thou are a teacher come from God no man can do these Miracles that thou doest except God be with him the difference in Jesus and the other rabbis of that day amen is that the Council of men had to lay hands on Jesus nobody laid Hands On Jesus praise God praise the Lord he he didn't have to do that because you see he was not just a mere man he he was God incarnate amen and so he didn't need the sanction of men as a matter of fact the most he disturbance they they thought he was a radical man they they they didn't like him they didn't want to hear what he had to say so when Nicodemus called Jesus Rabbi he was acknowledging that Jesus was a teacher whom God had laid his hands on him amen now y'all stay with me cuz we're going to run away in a minute yes sir all this shouting going on man y'all there's a preaching Spirit up in here I'm just telling you right now amen and and for what Nicodemus had had observed he he was well within his rights to call the Lord Rabbi he knew that there was something special about the man Jesus because of the Miracles that he it was evident where he went now when the gospel was written down the title Rabbi stood in the high reputation of the early fathers could not be translated but unto Lord that's that's the way they had to translate it is Lord it was a highly respected position to be a rabbi I want you to understand that if you a rabbi you were held in high such regards many times you had a following you know people would Gather in groups and sometimes aspire young preachers if you will they they they would follow the rabbi wherever he went they followed him they they wanted to hear everything that he said they they they wanted they they wanted him to pour out the wisdom that was within him they wanted to hear every word now you you young guys listen to me tonight all right amen they would long for a nugget of wisdom and knowledge to fall on them them from from the from the rabbi amen if he decided to read for the sacred writings that they wanted to to hear him read it cuz he was the rabbi amen amen if he's going to pass judgment a render judgment on the situation they wanted to be there for that Hallelujah if the rabbi was going to lay hands and bless somebody they wanted to be in line for that amen we we need to learn to get in line for the B from the blessings of God hallelujah no matter how old we are or how how how you know how educated we might be we still need to get in line for the blessings of the Lord somebody said amen hallelujah anything the master the teacher the rabbi would give them was highly regarded so like our modern day celebrities young men would follow the rabby wherever he went listening intensely to everything that he had to say hanging on every word but now it was said that if you got up early enough some of y'all done lost out if you got up early enough if you followed the rabby long enough if you had the patience to stay with him it became a saying that if you followed the rabbi far enough if you were not easily discouraged if you followed him close enough if you were that kind amen that had the tenacity enough to make the sacrifice it was said that you would finally get to the place that you were covered in the dust of the rabbi Hallelujah you were finally covered in something wonderful amen from the rabbi praise the Lord hallelujah he was saiding that if you were covered by the dust of the rabbi it was it meant that you love the rabbi by you loved him so much that you was willing to follow you was willing to stay with him through hell or high water through thicker thin you did not care what people thought you didn't care what was going on around you all you knew is that I going to follow Amen in the footsteps of the rabbi because all I want is the dust amen of the rabbi to fall upon [Applause] me amen you was fact you was you you was saying that you're faithfulness I'm faithful if the rabbi stirs up any dust amen I'm going to be part of the stirring I'm going to be part of it if he stirs up some dust amen I'm telling you when the pastor gets up here and gets to preaching I'm telling you he stirs up some dust he stir up some stuff amen when he's preaching you need to be on your feet said preacher preacher preacher Pastor I want to follow amen I want to follow where the dust is amen I did I don't care what people say amen years ago we went to Frederick had had just a little building it the windows breathe when it blew venician blinds old venician baby a it was dark in there had 10 gallons of oil amen we Chang light bubbs amen we put in the windows Hallelujah people say you won't last we'll give him 6 months six months later well we'll give him a year a year later I'll give him another six months we'll give him five years he'll be gone amen it took him 40 years and I left to my own accord I'm still going there amen praise God so you don't have to listen to people don't don't worry what they say greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world yes yes yes you were declaring that you've sold out Amen to this particular Rabbi you were saying that you had such respect for the rabbi and it's teaching that you were willing to follow him Amen to the very end you were saying by by this action that you had pledged your allegiance to him and him alone that's right praise God I'll follow him I'll go where he goes I I'll stay where he stays I will eat what he we eats amen I I will be I will be with him I I don't care I don't care what's going on I love I want I want to walk in the dust of the rabbi you've got to make your mind up tonight that you're willing to walk in the dust of the rabbi amen praise God you're declaring when you're when you're covered with the dust of the rabbi I followed him so long amen I've learned from him I've embraced his teachings amen you what what you got on you why don't you change your clothes why don't you change your shoes oh no no no I'm covered in the dust because I've been walking in the dust of the rabbi wherever he went whatever he did I was going to be there praise God I'm walking in the dust of the rabbi amen amen don't don't try to you know what what bothers me is people want to follow the trend don't follow the trend follow the spirit the trend will cause you to be lost and the spirit will save your hide I I mean your soul amen you don't try to get me to look some other way hey h come on I've had them try to hey you you don't you don't need to you don't know you don't need to you don't need preaching that stuff what you doing you you don't need preaching that one God M you don't need to preach about you know baptism you don't need preach that stuff you don't live the way you don't need to live that way to be a Christian that old song says I choose to be a Christian I choose to be like himall amen nobody's making me do it this is how I want to live you decide for you I decide for me amen I choose to be a Christian amen you know why cuz years ago I started at 5 years old walking in the dust of the rabbi amen walking in the dust of the rabbi amen praise God covered by the dust of the rabbi amen that's what it's all about out I'm covered by the rabbi's dust but but meaning I'm covered his dust we're saying that that in anything any direction he goes I'm going to go I've made my stand you you're you're wasting your time I'm sold out to the Lord I have pledged my allegiance to the rabbi I'm totally convinced amen maybe you don't understand you can't see it I'm covered in the dust of the rabbi you don't understand we know what I've been through but I've stuck with a rabbi I have covered I'm covered in his dust tonight amen Saints of the most high God we're living in a world that has no absolutes amen say Amen if you wish to walk in the dust of the rabbi you need to put some he my trust in Jesus Christ we need to learn to follow our pastor amen we need to learn Amen to follow our pastor as Christ as he as he follows Christ and that man has been following Christ as long as I have known him he has followed Christ understand this night amen this didn't start with Pastor Mark and sister Jamie M amen did they didn't take the helm you know just just come into this church it started August 1957 yeah that's right amen when a young couple Billy and Betty MC heard the call of the rabbi to come to Knoxville Tennessee oh my God a couple that have walked in the dust of the rabbi all of their lives they were covered in the dust of the rabbi when they came to Knoxville Tennessee amen praise God understand that when bishop and sister mol came Hallelujah they were covered in the dust you know as a young man I used to watch Bishop Billy mcco walk in the dust of the rabbi for many years before I knew what he was doing I was you know I was when came here I was 5 years old I wasn't interested in doing what I'm doing now I wasn't interested in Knoxville except coming to the Smokies amen amen somebody said amen am but you see they're they're walking in the dust of the rabbi Hallelujah they were they they loved they served they were caring they sacrificed I watched the family as they they gave themselves they gave everything they could give amen because someone was walking in the dust of the rabbi way before now way before the pastor took over praise God you know and brother brother uh the pastor he was telling me said well you know this is building I didn't I said wait a minute I said you you were here you were here you helped amen all along the way I remember when when Mark Anthony would stand in a chair at our church amen and would help his Mom and Dad sang The Glory down and the glory fell what do you mean well that that young man was he was already dirty it with the dust of the rabbi he already was walking in the dust of the rabbi amen because why because his father was walking in the dust of the rabbi and before him amen his parents was walking in the dust of the rabbi and before that granny C was walking in the dust of the [Applause] rabbi amen praise God I'm telling you I I I remember these things I pray P Pastor I'm telling you right now I don't remember him ever causing any trouble to my knowledge that dust was already settling on that young man I admonish and charge him as a pastor to continue what to continue walking in the dust of the rabbi amen keep preaching the truth like you're preaching praise the Lord don't they love that word and keep preaching the word of God there's too many that quit quit preaching amen that the word of the Lord and they start the little programs programs are not going to save us I'm going to tell you what's going to save us walking in the dust of the rabbi amen Proverbs 23 and 23 said buy the truth and sell it not also wisdom and instruction amen and understanding Saints I'm telling you right now that we're going to have to pay a price if we're going to be found walking in in the footsteps amen of the rabbi if we're going to walk in the dust of the rabbi we're going to have to pay a price to get there amen amen praise God you see you're not if you're not willing to pay the price you ain't going you you you're not going to get the the gift you're not going to get the gift hallelujah amen praise God there's 235 times in the word of God it talks about truth 235 times do you think that God wants us to know the truth you think that he doesn't want us to know the truth and mercy meekness and righteousness you think he doesn't want us to be linked together with loving kindness you think that God desires amen he he Des desires it of us you think that truth endures for all generations the truth shall endure forever amen that's what it's all about walking in the dust of the rabbi John 8:31 then said Jesus unto those Jews which believed on him if you continue in my word then are you my disciples indeed if ye shall know and ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free there will be those who will amen try their best to get you to go another Direction do not listen to them amen you have sold yourself out to truth amen and keep keep the truth in your heart and in your life and how do you do it amen by walking in the dust of the rabbi Hallelujah by walking in the Dust by coming to church and worshiping the Lord the way that you have worshiped by coming to the house of God and committing your life to the things of God that's what it's all about amen hey they've come to wait to sway me we're covered in the dust of the rabbi amen we have followed too close behind him Amen to turn our backs on it now Hallelujah I thank God for that you see I'm covered in the dust of the rabbi tonight the dust of righteousness the dust of cleanliness the dust of Holiness the dust of of goodness and mercy how many love the dust of love and compassion the dust of Truth hallelujah amen I I I got to looking around here I said I I said that ain't smoke that's dust I said I thought it was smoke but no I said that's dust I know what you what is no no no that's dust amen all these kids up here shouting and worshiping the Lord hallelujah these choir singing the way they are why because there has been men of God Amen that have paid the price there's been men of God Amen that have put their F first foot forward they have they have been walking in the dust of the rabbi all of their days and all of their lives Hallelujah and because you follow them because you have committed all of a sudden look down at your feet Hallelujah there's dust on your feet wait a minute it's getting on my clothes because you have been walking in the dust of the rabbi hallelujah hallelujah amen praise God Walk in the dust Hallelujah give your all to him praise God the Bible said we are 1 Corinthians 3 and9 said we are laborers together with God you are God's husbandry you are God's Building hallu if you follow the shepherd as he followed Christ you too will be covered in the dust of the rabbi hallel love your love your pastor and first lady love your bishop and his wife lovely wife amen watch watch watch over their souls and and and Revere them and love them and and care for them amen Satan will try their best to tear him down but those people that are covered in the dust of the rabbi will never let it happen I can look about and see some elderly people here tonight amen you're here because you're covered in the dust of the rabbi young people don't that mean there's so much stuff going on in this world oh my God there's so much ugliness amen we need people that are covered in the dust of the rabbi we need people that are obedient to the word of God we need people amen that said I'm going to follow through thick and thin I'm going to follow no matter what happens I'm going to follow amen thank God for for the amen the dust thank God for when you when you see the the smoke I know it's I know it's smoke but when you see the smoke you need to think about the Dust of the rabbi hallelujah amen we need to go forward in the name of the Lord we we need to you know what if there's no dust there's no Spirit folks I'm all right I bit my cheek and it's fine I'm not going to bleed to death amen but if if if there if there no if there's no dust there's no power if there's no if there's no dust there's no anointing amen don't don't stop walking in the dust of the rabbi you need to walk amen where the master walks amen you need to surrender your heart you need to give everything you possibly can amen as as as your preacher walks in the dust you need to follow him praise folks let me tell you something you need to leave a trail on the job you need to leave a Trail at school you need to leave a trail wherever you go praise God because you have been walking in the dust of the rabbi all right musicians come on Hallelujah let's all stand Hallelujah the Lord spoke to me about this message for this church just telling you and I know we need it don't get comfortable amen did you hear what I said don't get comfortable getting comfortable is dangerous amen now you're here tonight and you say well I've I've never I've never had anything like this we had a girl the other night we was preaching and I asked her I said you if you've been here before she said no this is my first time I'm thinking oh Lord but God baptized that girl the Holy Ghost amen praise God I mean it's sometimes it's better they don't know it's sometimes it's good they're not indoctrinated with false do that's right because we that have been walking in the dust of the rabbi all of our Lives amen and when I when I preached this and got this I'm thinking oh God all all my life I didn't realize what I was doing walking in in in in the Footsteps in the dust of of Bishop LA and Bishop Willam and and you know these others and and and Bishop Billy Mc and and these others in my life that had influence in my life amen and I got a responsibility now doesn't matter if I'm retired or not I I've got people walking in in my dust amen and I'm not talking about Stardust that's what you got to watch for you got to watch for that pretty dust that dust that falls on people and they just do stupid stuff funny stuff wrong stuff non I mean bad stuff but you walk if you walk in the dust of the rabbi amen that's the good dust that's the good dust amen amen you see we we had a situation around our house when we when we lived there we sold out and they had a bunch of horses behind us and every time they'd ride horses and I didn't I didn't ride their horses I didn't get in the Corral and but they would stir up dust oh my Lord it would come over and get in our on our patio stuff we had a little above ground it would fill my pool I would vacuum out mud every day I'm I'm telling you the truth I didn't like that dust oh and I'd pray that the Lord would send a you know a wind go to go but they didn't care that those parents would sat there and watch those kids we sat on they and dust would just cover them and they didn't move and you know what happens to us when the dust starts moving we start moving out of the way on I I I don't really want that on in me in my life I got too much uh Bishop I got too much going on in my life then that's too much that's amen you need to get right in front amen of the dust and you need to get as close to your pastor amen and your bishop and your ministry Hallelujah as you possibly can and you need to say I want all the dust you can kick [Applause] up amen cuz when I came to God at at 5 years old I had to follow the same road map in the scripture I had to repent of my sins I was baptized in the watery grave in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Lord baptized me with the baptism of the Holy Ghost and yes I spoke in tongues as the spirit of God gave the utterance amen hallelujah I went down praise God in that watery grave praise God I came up saved and Sanctified and full of the Holy Ghost you're here tonight you want something from God I admonish you I charge you to obey the Holy Ghost I charge you to say yes sir I'm going to walk to that altar because I'm walking Amen in the dust of the rabbi I'm riding I watch these kids up here these young people jumping around I think Lord I wish I could do that I'd throw something out and I'd have to get in the healing line and but just dancing and shouting and loving God and you can do that too they're they're dancing in the dust of the rabbi that's what they're doing amen we're not professional Christians we're born again again Christians hallelujah praise God but I'm telling you right now if you want the baptism of the Holy Ghost if you come up here and stand at this altar with us tonight God is going to baptize you come anybody I don't care who you are don't don't be don't be don't be embarrassed amen if you want it amen I'm assuming all y'all got it but you want to walk in the dust of the rabbi I know what y'all want to do yeah that that's exactly what I'm talking about right there I mean that's exactly what I'm saying young people like this that's willing Amen to walk in the dust of the rabbi and I see an Apostolic Church doing the same thing amen we are not normal we are abnormal we are A peculiar people but we are a chosen Nation we're a holy priesthood hallelujah thank you Jesus amen they begin to sing we're going to begin to worship God and we're going to stir up some dust Hallelujah in the Holy Ghost tonight in Jesus name go ahead children let's sing unto the Lord hallelujah you're walking in the dust of the rabbi tonight hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah praise God praise God praise
