Summary
Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.
The readings: the place where former things are gone
- He reads Revelation 7:16-17: they shall hunger and thirst no more, the Lamb in the midst of the throne will feed them and lead them to living fountains of water, and God will wipe away all tears from their eyes.
- He reads Revelation 21:1-4: a new heaven and a new earth, the holy city coming down from God, the tabernacle of God with men, and no more death, sorrow, crying, or pain, for the former things are passed away.
- From these readings he takes his subject: heaven is the place of no more.
Scriptures: Revelation 7:16-17; Revelation 21:1-4
No more sickness, pain, or tears
- He works down his list: no more heartache, blindness, deafness, heart disease, hospitals, hospice care, strokes, cancer, wheelchairs, or childhood disease in heaven.
- He speaks personally into the list — his pacemaker, his spinal curvature, and his deaf left ear will all be left behind; there will be no more scoliosis, and he will finally straighten up and glorify God as the bowed woman did when she was touched.
- There will be no more sea, no more allergies, and no more tears — nothing there to make anyone cry.
No more worry
- He remembers his mother, who helped raise ten children and often sat up late worrying until every one of them was home.
- He sets Solomon's word against that worry: it profits nothing to sit up late and eat the bread of sorrows, for God gives his beloved sleep.
- In heaven there will be nothing to worry about — no flu, no death, no poverty, no sickness, no curse, and no losses.
Scriptures: Psalm 127:2
Are you prepared for the place of no more?
- He closes by pressing preparation, not just desire: have you repented of your sins, been water baptized in the only name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved, and been filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking with other tongues?
- He urges anyone unprepared not to wait another day or another hour, and invites the whole house to the altar to find the way to repentance and baptism in Jesus' name.

when i get there i hope i just hope somebody's prophecy comes true because years ago brother chad somebody prophesied i i took it as a prophecy they said when we get to heaven i believe there's going to be a gold-plated hammond organ for brother mike wilson to play could i get a witness i don't know if it'll be there or not but if it is i'll be able to hear it no deafness is it all right if i just animals 10 miles long patmos was i don't know how long you may be a bible scholar and you can tell me after church how long he stayed i don't really know but i know one thing he stayed out there long enough to realize i don't want to see no more sea i'm tired of the water i'm tired of the water evidently there wasn't there wasn't any carnival cruises out there there wasn't any pentecostal at sea cruises for him to go out there and listen to us good gospel sing or sing he said there will be no more sea now the scripture says the wicked are like the troubled sea maybe that's what john was talking about there'll be no shame in heaven no more allergies no more sneezing in april no more sneezing in september no more allergies no more drug allergies no more food allergies no more peanut allergies folks let me tell you something we're going to a place of no more if you don't want to go yet just hang on i may call your call your situation out here in a minute no more allergies in heaven there'll be no more tears in heaven no more tears than heaven no more tears nothing to make you cry nothing to cause your tear ducts to overflow in heaven no more worry no more worry in heaven my sweet mother lived to be 93 years old raised 10 children her and dad did and she was sometimes a professional worrier you can imagine raising five boys five girls staying up late worrying until they all got home the wise man solomon said it is not good it is not good to sit up late and to eat the bread of sorrows for lo he giveth his beloved sleep when he said it's not good to sit up late and eat the bread of sorrows that phrase means it is not good it is no it helps you none to sit up late and worry but when we get there there'll be nothing to worry about there'll be nothing to worry about oh i could i could get real i could get real personal here tonight but i won't do that but i look around here and i see people that have situations that are they are constantly having to be concerned about things that brings worry and trepidation fear to their heart and to their life but if we can get there i said if we can just get there there'll be nothing to worry about there'll be nothing to worry about oh there won't be any flu in heaven there'll be no death in heaven no corona virus in heaven somebody needs to run the aisle on that one no corona virus no flu no poverty no sickness no curse no losses not in heaven no more it's a place of no more no more loneliness it would shock us if we understood how alone some people are even though there would they would be in the midst of a group of people huh carrying loneliness in their mind and their heart struggling with these things putting on that putting on that smile trying to be happy trying to put on the good front down deep in their heart lonely lonely lonely but in heaven there'll be no more loneliness because we will be surrounded we will be surrounded by only those who love us and who are loved by us no loneliness no violence no more no more somebody say a place of no more no more bombs no more terrorism no more hunger no more weapons no more cancer no more diabetes no more liver disease no more lung disease no more brain aneurysms like took our sister out at the age of 69. no more political corruption huh no more no more we're going to get out of here we're going to be free from all of that i said we're going to be free from all of that being a musician being a singer and a choir director over the years i've directed choirs and camp meetings and conferences and stuff you you know you get a choir off full of 120 150 folks you're trying your best to teach three parts they can't do they can't do unison right and then invariably there was that one person that you'd spend half the afternoon trying to get them on pitch right and i do this little trick right here i said okay if you're flat if you feel like you're flattened you know you're not doing hitting the right on pitch i said imagine there's a string attached to the top of your head and i said just pull that string up and i said that'll pull you up on pitch well somewhere between practice and the and the night service the string broke but heaven's choir will have no flat voices oh you're not helping me i'm about finished i'm not finished here there won't be any flat voices in heaven there won't be any guitars out of tune either i didn't hear nothing out of tune tonight just so you know there'll be no attitude instruments i won't be on that hammond organ that they have up there i'll be able to hit every note perfect i guess one of the one of the chief things that i'm looking forward to being to not being in heaven is this no disappointments no disappointment no disappointments there won't be any disappointments there everything will be perfect in heaven now as i close here tonight i want you to do a favor to yourself i want you to fill in the blank okay you fill in the blank yourself in your own mind in your own heart in heaven for me there will be no what you fill in the blank you fill in the blank how many of you want to go to heaven would you stand please this list is is no way near exhausted here tonight i want to ask you are you prepared are you prepared for heaven i would imagine brother philip that by now the things that we have gone through this year alone would make everybody here ready to go to heaven right we're ready to go to heaven but are we prepared to go to heaven have you obeyed the word of god concerning your salvation have you repented of your sins as the scripture said have you been water baptized in the only name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved have you been filled with god's precious gift of the holy ghost with the evidence of speaking with other tongues are you living a separated sold out life for jesus christ are you prepared for a place of no more if you're not if you're not prepared for heaven you best not wait another day you should not wait for another opportunity you should not wait for another hour if you're not prepared there are folks that will stand with you pray with you have you help you find your way to calvary find your way to repentance find your way to a watery grave of baptism in jesus name they will help you receive the baptism of the holy ghost this night before the service is over if you want to go to heaven tonight i would invite everybody in this house that you get around this altar i would invite you right now to find your way here in doing so you're saying i want to get to that place of no more i want to find that place of no more i'm tired of this old world i'm tired of the sin i'm tired of the pain i'm tired of the struggle i'm tired of the hurts i'm tired of the disappointments i'm tired i'm tired i want life and life everlasting seek the lord while he may be found seek the lord while he may be found call upon him while he is near i'm going to heaven are you i'm going to heaven are you god bless you tonight is my prayer
