come on oh clap your hands all you people shout unto the Lord with a voice of Triumph hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah you may be seated for just a couple of moments what a tremendous presence of God we have already experienced in this room tonight and I don't know about you but I could I could head back to get a cheeseburger and be fine right now and what a a tremendous outpouring of the Holy Ghost what a great church and um I know sometimes when you are at a place as I said this morning you know every week and and you hear the the preaching and and you get used to certain things but let me just uh come in for just a couple of seconds here and tell you you are a part of a great church and you ought to thank the Lord that he has planted you at fac Knoxville why don't you give the Lord a good hand clap for that amen if you will bear with me for just a second uh this morning I I was not I wasn't in a hurry but I didn't want to waste any time and I don't want to waste time tonight but I I am mandated to give honor and what a a tremendous uh honor it is for us to be invited uh fac Knoxville is one of those churches where man you get asked to go there you you have uh you've been you've done something I mean to tell you what and uh we were so blessed by the invitation uh to be here today and uh what a great pastoral staff there's literally a none finer uh than the mul family and the Whitley family and we highly esteem them uh pastor Mark and sister Jamie Pastor Nate and sister Ashley Pastor Anthony and sister Kelly and uh of course there is no one in the world like bishop and sister mul and uh he is as I said this morning a hero of mine and uh whenever I'm in the presence of Bishop mcul I stand up straighter now I know that didn't do a lot for me because I don't have a lot of height to go up but when Bishop M walks in the room I tryy to act a little better I try to try to stand a little St and make sure I've got it all together and and I just love and appreciate them uh so much and they mean the world to us and my dad uh thank you for saying the kind words about my dad my dad uh went to be with the Lord last Father's Day in 2023 and uh my dad had there was three or four men in my Dad's life that if a question was ever asked he wanted to know what Jay Frank Wilson thought Raymond Bishop thought Don Johnson thought and Billy McCool thought if it passed their test then it was okay so he wouldn't give an answer until he found out what those men thought about something and he highly esteemed a bishop and sister mol and we do as well and we're we're just so blessed and it's just so blessed to be a part and friends I consider these people uh to be our friends man this band tonight and praise team you guys are amazing and uh I'm telling you I want to grow up and be like every one of you guys and uh I I actually am d you just don't see it inside that's what I really am and I I can't get it out for some reason and uh but my goodness that was awesome and then uh Pastor Nate singing like that makes me sick to be honest how can somebody be so talented preach like that study like that sing like that play drums like that I don't like him at all and uh couple of years ago uh brother Whitley preached a dynamic message at our national Men's Conference and uh this is my best story about brother Whitley and the next morning I was getting on the it's actually terrible for him but really good for me I was getting on the me and my wife was getting on the elevator the next morning and the gentleman got on the elevator and he said brother that was some great preaching last night I said thank you so much I really appreciate that we got down in the forer of the hotel and there was a bunch of bunch of people down there having breakfast and different stuff and that man come back to me a second time he said brother I want to tell you again that was great preaching well I had the opportunity to switch it and I didn't I said Thank you again brother I really appreciate that so at least for once I got in the same same category with brother Whitley and uh just just love and appreciate all of these people and just great people and I know that to have a church like this it is not just the Pastoral staff but there is a tremendous amount of volunteers and Saints of the most high God that are here on a weekly basis faithful to the things of God you ought to give all of yourselves just a great Round of Applause tonight amen so good to have my wife with me and uh she is the best part of me I can promise you that and uh when you look at us um um we've been through some stuff and uh the Lord has been merciful to us and been gracious to us and and we have we have quite a little bit of a story and um it's kind of dirty at times and kind of messed up a lot of blood a lot of bruises but God reached down and and when they were singing that tonight he's not done with yet man I just couldn't help but tears pour out of my eyes I stood over there right there and begin to think about the goodness of God and the mercies of God and begin to dream in this house I said Lord I'm believing I don't think you're done with us yet in Nashville yet I'm just I'm just believing if they can have it in Knoxville we can have it in Nashville amen and she is just such a blessing her heart is as big as this Auditorium and she loves broken people and I just love to appreciate her so much thank you for the food the room the fellowship is just just my favorite part and I'd rather eat than preach so I want to hurry and uh I really mean that I'm not joking I never asked for this job to be honest with you I probably shouldn't say this this is not really a professional thing to say but I never wanted to preach I didn't want to do no pastoring deal I just I was a drum player and and uh well a parti drum player not quite as good as brother Whitley of course but uh you know I I didn't want to do all this preaching stuff and pastoring stuff that was just not something that that I Really Ever esteemed and I never really accepted my calling into the ministry until my mid 20s and and I felt the Lord speak to me one night my dad was preaching and I felt just something come over me and said it's time and I knew from the top of my head to the sole of my feet what was going on and uh I'm so thankful for uh the Lord and his goodness and how he is how he works on us and works through US amen God is so good amen let's stand together I'll read a couple of verses and I'm going to get out of the way and I thank you for responding to the word this morning and I'm telling you the word will heal you the word will heal you amen the word can help us and touch us Isaiah 59 and verse 19 I'll also read from Luke 647 and 48 Isaiah 59 19 a very familiar passage of scripture so shall they fear the name of the Lord from the West and his glory from the rising of the Sun and then this statement when the enemy shall come in like a flood everybody say like a flood the spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him when the enemy shall come in like a flood the spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him Luke 6:47 and 48 Jesus speaking whosoever cometh to me and heareth my sayings and doeth them I will show you to whom he is like he is like a man which built an house and digged deep and laid the foundation on a rock would you read the next few words with me and when the flood arose the stream beat vehemently upon the house and could not shake it for it was founded upon a rock I want to try to preach tonight for just a little bit on like a flood would you lay your Bibles down lift your hands toward Heaven would you pray that God would touch us all tonight Lord we love you we're so grateful and thankful for this opportunity God we pray that Lord you would anoint Us in this house tonight move upon every heart every life every soul every Spirit God you know every need in this room you know every situation every every problem every struggle tonight and I pray Lord in the name of Jesus that you would help us that you would help us come on somebody say in the name of Jesus in the name of Jesus would you help us Lord we give you praise and glory and everybody said amen won't you turn around to three or four people and say everything's going to be all right in Jesus name Hallelujah God bless you may be seated if you have ever experienced a flood before there is really nothing like it when water gets out of constraints it has a way of getting into places that you never dreamed that water could get matter of fact when water gets out of where it's supposed to be this is the tendency of water water always finds the low EST place and it'll just settle there it'll gather there it will puddle there till what is beneath it finally rots away water is not in a hurry water is not really to be honest with you and it's just form right here is not really that strong it just has the ability to weight out whatever it is laying on uh whatever is holding it whatever it is it has puddled on it will it will just waight it out and more than likely eventually what is beneath it is going to give way you've ever had a leak in your house that went unnoticed maybe months maybe even years someone come by to do some do some service work at your house and they crawl under and they come back out and say hey we need to talk for a second there you have a leak under the house and it has caused a weakening of the structure and most of the time all of the old will have to be ripped out so that it can be replaced things that you don't even realize they're going on things that you you think the house is great you think that everything is fine you think that man man our house is in good shape but underneath the surface in places that you are not seeing on a daily basis water may be seeping into those areas back in 2010 we had a flood in Nashville and and some of you will remember that some of you will remember the flood waters in that City I've seen it with my own eyes Waters that covered literally acre after acre yard after yard flood waters take away the ability to see markers it takes away the ability to see boundaries matter of fact where we have our national youth convention a lot in the Opera Land Hotel there was 9ine foot of water inside that beautiful hotel you didn't even recognize the place after the water got finished flood waters move in to places it takes away as I said markers it takes away boundaries it moves things that you thought were on a strong Foundation there's a school in Nashville I believe it's Friendship Christian if I'm not mistaken but there's a famous video of I24 out headed towards Murphysboro that part of the school is literally floating down the interstate it's the wildest thing literally part of of the buildings it's literally floating up I24 flood waters are very destructive and the cleanup is massive and messy the prophet Isaiah says in our text tonight he says when not if he said but when the enemy shall come in and he makes this comparison like a flood he said when the enemy comes in like a flood that means it is uninvited that means it is normally unwanted and a lot of the times it is unexpected and some of you know what I'm talking about right now the enemy has come in that way you didn't provoke it to happen you certainly didn't want it to happen the the flood waters of the adversary did not knock on your door and ask permission it didn't see if the day was convenient the enemy just shows up and he always shows up unannounced and begins to wre hav havoc in our lives that's because that's what flood waters do they simply cause trouble they make a mess they leave a trail you never have to wonder where the water got to every time the water recedes it always leaves a mess behind it leaves a marker on the wall when the enemy comes in he always leaves a mess in our life he's always going to leave a trail he he's always going to leave a marker in our life that that old adversary that comes in like a flood that enemy that comes in that wants to destroy everything that is good in our life that old enemy that comes in that simply wants to sew discouragement into our spirit that enemy that wants us living on a daily basis in fear and worry and defeat that old enemy we're we're doing our best right now to to try to to see what's coming next but we are all caught off guard on certain days by what the enemy comes around with his testing and his trying and his his his his fear and brings all kinds of spirits around I'm talking to somebody in this house right now that that you're looking at some you're looking at some mess in your life right now you're wondering how in the world did this all happen I'm going to tell you the enemy showed up in your life amen that old flood Waters begin to rise in your life and we're doing the best we can I mean to tell you as I mentioned this morning we're here every time the doors are open every time they tell us to March and give in the offering I mean we're we're pulling out our checkbooks and and we're putting our money in the offering every time there's a work day or a or a volunteer opportunity or or time for the choir to practice we are doing our dead level best to be faithful to the things of God and we're thinking man everything is going to start going right but you continue to wake up with a mess you continue to wake up with fear it seems like every time you go to sleep you cry yourself to sleep it seems like every time you try to rest you are tossing and turning through the night I've come to let somebody know today that God is about to do something about the enemy God's about to do something about that trial God's about to bring you up out of those flood waters Hallelujah the Bible says that there was a man that was sewing some good in a field and all he was doing was going to rest a little bit and sometime in the night an enemy came in and be to sew the tears it's one of the most frustrating verses of scripture to me that God sees me doing good he sees me trying to do the right thing he he sees me me being faithful he sees me trying to live Godly and trying to live holy but yet he allows that enemy to come in amen job Lord have mercy job got permission Satan got permission to try job I don't understand that I don't understand how a great big merciful powerful God would give Satan the permission to come in and to test me to come in and to try me if I get to thinking about it too long I'll get a little frustrated on the inside that's when I have to just just resign myself to the fact that no doesn't matter what comes or goes it doesn't matter if it's good or bad it doesn't matter what happens in my life I have to believe that my God is going to take care of me that my God is going to provide for me that my God is going to pull me up out of the blood waters that old enemy that Thief that Jesus warns us about he wants to steal to kill and to destroy that enemy that Paul warns he says don't be ignorant of his devices that enemy that Peter warns about he says that devil as a roaring lion seeketh whom he may devour that old sleo foot that's a good old term right there that old slle sloh foot I remember the oldtimers would call him an old slooh foot that old serpent that teller of Lies is doing his best to mess up what God is trying to do in my life that Old Devil is doing his best to destroy what God is building up in my life that old enemy when I'm sewing good in my field that old enemy is coming up right beside me and sewing a tear right up beside what right up beside what I'm trying to do is good and an old tear is nothing but a weed an old weed doesn't do anything but steal the nutrients up out of the ground but I've come to let the devil know tonight you can sew your old wasteful weeds beside me if you want to I've just made up my mind I'm going to keep on growing I'm going to keep on growing you may be tried to steal from me but when you steal from me God has pouring it back out on me I've come to let the devil know tonight you're going to lose this battle if you think we're going to give in if you think we're going to quit if you think we're afraid of your flood waters baby we just going to start swimming in your Waters Hallelujah I know at times you can get frustrated dealing with the same old junk the same old Temptations the same old trials and the same old test but I've got good news for somebody you are not by yourself amen look around at somebody right now and say you're not by yourself come on somebody in this house right now feels like they're isolated on an island all alone somebody in this room feels like the devil's got his old nasty finger shoved in your face and he's pushed you up in the corner but you cannot fall for the tricks of the adversary you have to bow yourself up and say devil I know you're coming against me devil I know you're trying to get me to throw in the towel but I want to let you know I'm about to get my fight back I want you to know that I'm about my God I want you to know I'm ready oh Lord have mercy come on this is why we know we're not by ourselves first John 4 and4 ye are of God little children and have overcome them because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world if all you see is what's in the world you see what's inside of you but if you'll start looking down on the inside and saying something oh Lord that spirit is dwelling in me that Holy Ghost is dwelling in me I am an overcomer come on somebody shout greater come on God is greater than my flood say it come on God is greater than my trial God is greater than my test God is greater than my fear God is greater than the lies God is greater than the pain God is is greater than the cancer God is greater than the divorce God is greater than the shame God is greater than the grief our God is absolutely greater than anything that the Old Devil can seow in my life so because of that every once in a while I have to turn around and say devil you going to have to get behind me you going to have to get out of my way because I'm marching towards the things that God would have for my life devil you just going to have to deal with me and I feel the Holy Ghost rising up in me right now I feel like we ought to take care of some devils tonight I think we ought to take care of some intimidating spirits tonight I think somebody ought to stand up once and for all and say devil if you think I'm leaving the church you got another thing coming devil if you think I'm going to backslide you better back up if you think I'm going to if you think I'm gonna throw the towel in you better come back another day because I'm just getting started I'm just getting started come on there's a dad in the room that the devil's telling you just stay at home don't you dare stay at home you look back at the Old Devil and say we going to get to my family we going to get to the house of God we're going to get up around that altar we're going to worship together we're going to LEAP together we're going to dance together we're going to Rejoice together devil I know you've come to fight but so have I the devil ain't nothing but an old bully anyways he just needs to be put in his place matter of fact God put him in his place he said you gonna eat the dust of the earth he said the heel of man is going to bruise your head so let me help some of you right now if the devil's all up in your face he's out of position Lord have mercy if the devil's all up talking to you on a daily basis in the middle of the night the devil's out of position some of you need to go home tonight take a bottle of oil I mean pour it all over the yard pour it up I mean anoint every door in the room anoint every bedroom anoint your kids room and say devil I've come with a word from Heaven you're not supposed to be up in my face you're supposed to be under my feet my God it's time to put the devil back where he belongs you get out of my mind you get out of my home you get out of my marriage you get out of my finances I don't care what you come at me with but you are going to be bound in the name of Jesus Hallelujah God is greater greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world I feel like we need to start pushing back understanding what we have understanding what is inside of us know ye not that your body is the Temple of the Holy Ghost and if that power dwells in you if that same spirit that dwelt in Christ dwells in you come on you got more Authority in your pinky finger than all of hell why don't you stand up and declare devil get out of my mind get out of my face hallelujah it's time to push back in the Holy Ghost you know what something aggravates me this is going to get I might get in trouble but don't here's something that aggravates me is is uh seeing people in the church in the church inside the four walls of this building and I mean I seen some of up here tonight I mean you starting to woo Lord have mercy it feels good did here anybody feel that I feel I'm sorry to the camera man I apologize I like getting out here with the people and uh I've seen some of y'all you start to feel good man that feels good in here and you start to feel Liberty anybody feels things lift off of you when you're in here anybody feel that anybody feel that oppressive Spirit that's that's been on your shoulders all week long when you get into the house of God you feel that lift anybody be honest and then it seems like when you walk out the front doors of the building building that Old Devil sits back down come on you know what we need to do my dad used to say this all the time he said if we would take what's in the church home with us come on this is not just a little drivein thing we go through the drive-thru we'll take two Holy Ghost and and and four songs and we'll we'll take it no no no no this is we get this on the inside of us and when we walk out of this building we walk in Victory we walk in authority come on you're a child of God realize who you are the blood has been applied to your life you've been buried in baptism you need to stand up and say we go we going to live this thing we going to walk in Victory the devil ain't going to make my God have mercy the devil ain't going to torment me anymore the devil ain't going to cause me sleepless nights anymore Hallelujah 10 years ago 10 years ago my my life kind of turned upside down not kind of it did and me and my wife had been put in as Pastor in Nashville I I think this was 2013 yeah 2013 April of 2013 12 months later 13 months later of May the 22nd of 2014 my wife of 22 years passed away suddenly and uh about 30 hours she was she was diagnosed with a merca uh bacterial infection and put in the hospital and 30 hours later she was gone and uh I had Lanna she was 12 at the time and and I was pastoring I don't know what I was doing I I I was there but I don't know what I was doing and uh so I I I was went to bed one night with hopes and dreams and woke up three days later with no hopes and dreams like how we going to do this what we going to do and I can't tell you how many times the Old Devil spoke into my ears saying you know all those prophecies was just a somebody missed it all those Prophecies of dreams and great things and visions and Revival they they just missed it that's not for you that's for somebody else that's not that's not going to be for you and I wallered around in that and I couldn't sleep at night I was waking up at all all times and then at at two or three o'clock in the morning just wide awake couldn't sleep loneliness begin to set in fear and worry begin to set in to my life I I don't know all of that the The Depths and darkness of some depression and things like that but could feel it felt like things were caving in all around me until I heard a word from the Lord one day I was listening and I'll make a long story short but I needed something from God and I was listening one day to a preacher preach and he said just because the plan has changed doesn't mean the promise has changed I was driving up Interstate 40 a around somewhere around Lebanon Tennessee I was in my work van I pulled that work van over to the side of the road I put that baby baby in park tears begin to roll down my face I begin to lift up my hands I said God I don't know how you're going to do this but just because the plan has changed doesn't mean that my promise is going to change devil you got to get out of here you got you may have messed some things up you may have come in and caused some confusion but I want you to know you will not have the final say God will always have the final say we have a promise in the word that when the enemy comes in like a flood the spirit will raise up a standard against him when the enemy comes in like a flood it does not say that you and I will raise up a standard it says the spirit will raise up a standard many places in scripture and all you you word studiers and all that can check me on this but many places in scripture when the word standard is used it's it's as a flag it's a it's a position on a battlefield it it it's they would raise up a standard if it was on the battlefield and and people were confused and lost and and all over the place they would raise up that standard to let you know hey this is where you're supposed to be you need to get back over here but if you look in Isaiah 59 and verse 19 the word standard in 59 and 19 means to vanish away or to to escape or to flee or to put to flight so in other words when the enemy comes in like a flood the spirit is going to cause me to escape the flood waters when the enemy comes in thinking he is going to drown me God looks down in his infinite mercy and says I'm going to send my spirit why do you think the Holy Ghost got to move it in this room earlier why do you think when they was up here praising and worshiping that all of the sudden you begin to step out of your seat heaven was looking down he was seeing somebody that the flood waters were starting to raise around your physical body he said I got to send my spirit down my spirit is going to rescue them out of the water that's why I said it not not to repeat myself from this morning but when the Holy Ghost gets to moveing you got to do your dead level best to get into that Spirit whenever somebody is worshiping and praising God don't just sit there and look at them your your deliverance could be in your worship your deliverance could be in your praise your deliverance could be in your shout you could be re my Lord you could be brought up out of the flood waters some of you are Wonder tonight I'm about to go under for the last time oh no you're not the spirit of almighty God is in this room to pull you up out of the flood waters you hear me you will never have the ability to fight against Satan by yourself you cannot read enough books you cannot take enough pills you cannot get enough counsel there are going to be sometimes in your life that you are going to have to get into the spirit of the almighty God and allow him to take over and to fight the battle for us amen I'm not preaching to all you right now that everything is hucky Dory I'm not preaching to all you that rode your magic carpet into first fac on a on a Sunday night I'm preaching to somebody that's got their head above the waters and they don't know how in the world they're going to survive another day I'm preaching to that family that's worried about money worried about the job worried about your kids worried about the prodal I'm preaching to that young mother in the room right now that you've been left behind you've been deserted and you're barely above the water I've come to preach to you the Holy Ghost is in this room tonight to lift you up up come on if somebody would get this right now I'm telling you you can leap for Joy you can run the aisles you can take on hell with a water pistol if you would simply understand that I don't have to do this by myself the Bible said that the Spirit helps us it helps us you weren't created to do this by yourself you are not expected to do this by yourself you were not asked to oh you better do the best you can and if you fall flat on no no no no no he said David said I will lift up my eyes into the Hills from which cometh my help my help's not going to come from this one or that one my help is going to come from the Lord I'm so grateful I'm so grateful for people that will hug you and love on you and uh pray for you and and call you in the middle of the day brother Jeff Arnold said one time he said every once in a while you need somebody to stop by your house and unload the gun amen whether that be literal or metaphorically I I'm thankful I've had people to call me and say hey you're not going to go under I'm thankful I'm thankful brother M needs that that man when I get around them I feel better I mean to tell you just a few minutes I I get around some people and I feel better but let me tell you something brother M wasn't created to pull me up out of the flood waters he doesn't have the ability he is an awesome man of God he has so many giftings and so many qualities but there are sometimes you have to get your eyes off of another human being because another human being cannot fix you I I say this all the time in the lady's prison I say this all the the time at Men's conferences if if a man made it then a man can fix it but if God made it then only God can fix it so quit looking to a doctor to fix you quit looking for a pill to fix you quit looking for a therapist to fix you and lift up your eyes to heaven and say God I lift my eyes up to my Creator I pray God that you would come down send your spirit and raise me up out of the blood waters The Story Goes there was a gentleman that was broke down on the side of the road and uh he was frustrated he had the hood up on his car and he was aggravated it was hot outside he was standing out there shaking his head this gentleman pulled up behind him he said you having trouble with your car he said no I'm just sitting out here in the sun Here's your sign I love those jokes you have a flat nope sure didn't riding down the road and this other one just blew up like that it's unbelievable he a car broke down he said yeah he said what's wrong he said I don't know what's wrong with it he said let me see if I can help you this guy had a soup town he's like what in the world how's this guy gonna help me he walks around there at the front of the car and he fiddles with that and fiddles with this and and messes with that that he sticks his head around the corner of the of the truck says Hey said try to crank it now sure enough he turned it it fired right up that gentleman slammed the hood down walked around to the side door that gentleman that had the broke down car he said how in the world did you know how to fix this car he said my name is Henry Ford he said I designed and built this car some of you you are looking for so many other things to fix you when you are in the presence of the one that created you the one that knew you in your mother's womb and you're wondering how in the word we're going to survive I'm going to tell you how we're going to make it we're going to lift up our hands to the one that made us we're going to lift up our voice to the one that created us and something is going to happen just when the devil thought he had me just when the devil thought I was about to throw in the towel just when the devil thought I was about to give up God said you watch this devil I'm going to go down there pull them right up I Rejoice tonight I Rejoice tonight that when I was in the ditch he brought me out when I was in despair he saved me Hallelujah let let me hurry here I I've gone way too long already Ezekiel chapter 37 is the story of the valley of dry bones we preached about it all of these can preach much greater message but I just want to pull out a couple of things here it looked like that there was absolute absolutely zero hope Ezekiel is is set down in the spirit in in the midst of a valley full of Bones and the Bible says he calls me round about he said there were so many he said they were dry they were very dry and he said unto me son of man can these bones live and I answered and said oh Lord God thou knowest and again he said unto me prophesy unto these bones man I'm telling you what we get to this part right now and I mean we're ready to shout we're ready to LEAP we're ready to jump we're ready all of this stuff felt like the Lord spoke to me one day when I read that he said you're so quick to get to verse four again he said unto me prophesy to these bones and said to them oh ye Dry Bones hear the word of the Lord and we are he said he said but in order for verse four to happen he said there has to be a verse one the hand of the Lord was upon me and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord he said you you're reading that too fast he said you're getting over to the dry bones too fast he said' if you don't first realize that the spirit is upon you and the Hand of the Lord is upon you he said everything else will look like it's never going to come back to life he said but if you'll realize you're doing this in the spirit if you'll realize that my hand is upon you when you get out there in that dry bones it looks like a disaster you'll be able to speak thus sayith the word of the Lord these bones are going to live come on before you get a ahead of yourself get in the spirit before you leave the building today and start worrying again why don't you get in the spirit I was talking to a gentleman one time I don't want you to misunderstand what I'm gonna say this gentleman said to me one time he he was Apostolic he was he was Apostolic and a part of a Pentecostal Church in somewhere between here and New York City and this person said to me and please don't don't throw stones at me he said brother Batson he said I haven't spoken in tongues in over two years I didn't look at him and say well you old dirt scumbag you lousy bum get up here and let me pour a bottle of oil on your head I didn't do that you know what I did the next service I did my dead level best to get the spirit moving in that room whatever I can do to get the spirit generated in this room listen it's not that I can make it happen or none of these in here can happen but we do have a promise he inhabits the Praises of his people if we start praising then God's going to show up you know what you need I'm preaching to somebody that is dry right now I'm preaching to somebody it's been a long time I'm preaching to somebody it's been a long time since tears has come out of your eyes since you freely worshiped since you got out in the aisle since you ran down to the altar not caring if somebody seen you I'm preaching to you right now I'm not preaching to the ones that was already up here I want you to get some more of that yourself but I'm preaching to somebody that's dead I'm preaching to somebody that's dry I'm preaching to somebody that the flood waters are taking you over [Music] Hall and I wish I had a better day I had dreams of a better life I wish this body was painfree I wish this marriage was trouble free I wish that my kids would turn their face back towards God some of you are just simply looking for a good night's sleep a better financial situation I don't know what your bones have used to be are right now but I can tell you this if you'll look through the lens of the spirit if you'll look through the lens of the Holy Ghost you'll begin to prophesy to those dead things it's time to come back to life again you can sit there and stare or you can get up and start moving you can sit there with discouragement draped all around you or you can make up your mind I'm gonna change my thoughts I'm G to get up out of this depressed state I'm G to pray until God shows up the oldtimers used to say this you need to just pray through now some of them didn't understand what they were saying saying and as we have gotten all educated we think that we have better answers now but let me tell you something this is going to be a bold statement some of us just simply need to pray through preacher what do you mean I mean you pray till something happens you don't put God on a time limit well I'm gonna come down for 30 seconds if it don't happen then I'm going to get up and go back to my seat no I'm talking about determining I'm going to go down to that altar I'm going put my face in the carpet and I'm not leaving fac I'll turn the lights off if I have to I'll lock the doors if I have to but I'm not leaving that building until I pray through in the Holy Ghost I'm not leaving that altar until I F endued with power I'm not my family ain't leaving tonight until the Holy Ghost gets in the car with us come on some of you are drowning some of you are drowning all you need is a touch of the spirit Hallelujah come on don't underestimate you musicians to come don't underestimate by the move of the Holy Ghost to do don't underestimate what a good old time in the altar will do don't just don't be so quick to leave the altar don't be so quick to get out of praise and worship I me to tell you that's where miracles happen that's where signs happen that's where breakthroughs happen that's where Deliverance happens oh I'm about to make myself real old right now brother Nate when I was a kid when I was a kid it wouldn't be nothing for people to be laid out over the front it wouldn't be nothing on a Sunday night people be laid up under the pews talking in tongues it wouldn't be nothing for people to be slain out in the Holy Ghost for 30 and 40 minutes at a time it wouldn't be nothing for people to be lingering around the altar I've left church on Sunday night plenty of times at 10 and 11:00 why'd you do that because somebody was determined I'm not leaving until something happens in me I'm come on some of you are giving up too quick on God you need to stick around for just a moment you need to stick around a little bit and say God I believe before I walk out of the building that something can change in me I remember we had a Revival one with Charles wils believe it was Charles wils we had a Revival and every night at 9:30 I know y'all look at me like I'm crazy but every night at 9:30 it was like a rushing Mighty Wind would blow into that building I'm talking about we had good church before then it was great preaching great singing great great off all that all that stuff was great but it was something about at 9:30 it's like God was just testing us It Happened One Night it happened two nights it happened three nights it happened four night I have to believe with everything that's within me is every night we would have stayed there till 9:30 God would have said I'm going to meet you here again you just got to be willing to wait on me just a little bit I'm asking somebody kind of a repeat of this morning how desperate are you to get up out of the flood waters or have you just put your little wet suit on and your little flippers and just decided I'm going to just live in these Waters I'm just going to doggy paddle and come on don't you want to get out of that junk don't you want to get out of that mess don't you want to be delivered there's my God the Holy Ghost is wanting to pull somebody up out of the flood [Music] waters come on let the Holy Ghost start talking to somebody let the Holy Ghost start speaking to [Music] somebody Hallelujah I hate water I hate water I hate water I like to see it but I don't like to be in it I hadn't showered in two months no I'm just kidding when I was 12 years old I was on a youth trip with a bunch of young people from Nashville and we was at some State Park you just go ahead and play brother they'll think I'm quitting that's a [Music] trick I was on a was on a youth trip with a bunch of young people and it was at a state park somewhere down in I don't know somewhere around Lewisburg or somewhere and there was paddle boats and uh all these people got on these paddle boats well well my little fat self finally got down there there was no paddle boats it was only canoes I got in a canoe with a man named Robert Moy and uh no life jackets that's back when we didn't wear seat belts either car seats I'll throw that baby in the back seat they'll be fine we got out in the middle of this Lake I didn't know how to swim didn't know how to do nothing I was a younger version of me right now short and chunky you ain't sure but you're just right well I didn't know anything about a canoe I'd never been in a canoe I didn't know that one was supposed to go one way and the person on the other side supposed to lean to the other side well all I know is we both leaned in the same direction out in the middle of a lake and that canoe flipped over and my hide went under the water and I mean to tell you what I come back up and I don't know if anybody is almost drowned before it but it is a freaky thing and I mean to tell you I went back under that water again I was like my God you're just frantic it is frantic when all of the sudden somebody grabbed a hole pulled me up up out of that water that same boy that got me in that canoe that day save me from the waters I hate water to this day I dance around the shower going oh God it's going to get me oh God it's going to get me I hate it I'm terrified of it some of you are going under again and you're terrified and you're panicking and you're [Music] fearful but I just have to believe something is about to get a hold of you something is about to pull you up out of those Waters my God have mercy I wish that somebody would get out of their seat right now and come down to the front of this building and say preacher I'm going to take you at your word I'm going to walk down to the front of of that building I feel like the waters are up over my head right now I feel like I'm going under for the last time but I believe if I reach up just one more time you're going to reach down and pull anybody in this room today want to get your praise on hold on one second one second tell tell somebody around you we about to we about to go at it here tell somebody say you got to give me some room right now come on y'all too close somebody Gonna Hurt Somebody Come on come up here closer come up here a little bit closer say you gonna have to give me a little room because I'm coming out of this mess I'm coming out of this depression I'm coming out of this fear I'm coming out of this anxiety I'm coming out of this sin you going to have to give me some room because I don't know what's about to happen when he pulls me up come on I want everybody to throw their hands up in the air I want you to reach up as high as you can and I want you to begin to call on the name of Jesus if you're desperate tonight call on the name of Jesus if you're drowning tonight call on the name of Jesus and I just believe that the spirit of the Lord is about to raise you up out of those [Music] Waters come on somebody clap your hands somebody open your mouth somebody Rejoice somebody believe that I'm coming out of this
