Sunday Morning Worship Service

Come on, let's give that to the Lord right now. Come on. He's worthy to be praised. Amen. God bless you. You remain standing with me. What a great honor it is to be here on this beautiful day that the Lord has made. And I know you guys have just come out of an amazing camp and there's nothing quite like being camp tired and I know it's been three days of of of of work and and we honor you. really tuned in as much as possible to be able to to hear. And then I called my friend, brother Voscus on the way up here yesterday and I said, "Man, you didn't do me any favors and preached the house down for three straight nights and then they asked me to be here." I'm like, "What in the world did I do wrong?" And but we are so honored to be here. And uh what a what a privilege it is and to be with Pastor and Sister Mcool. And the feeling is very mutual, my friend. and uh we love and appreciate you so much and uh you are uh he is the gold standard and uh in more ways than one and we love them so much. Of course, Pastor Nate and Sister Ashley, our dear friends, we love them. They've made such a huge impact on our life and uh just appreciate all of the work that they do for the kingdom of God. And Dr. Anthony Mcool and Sister Kelly. I think the stars of this family are the children though and uh we we get on we get on Instagram just to see what their kids are saying and doing every day and it is always a joy. And of course the incomparable Bishop and Sister Mcool. Uh I've said I say this very often. There's two people in my life or four people in my life that I stand up a little straighter. I wished I could stand up straight like brother Hamer, but I can't do all that. I'd like to be that tall. And uh Bishop and Sister Mcool are two of those people. And I cannot put into words what they mean to us and have meant to our family down through the years. My dad uh he had a few men in his life that if it passed their test, then it was okay for us. And well, one of those men was Bishop Mcool. And we love and honor you so much. And you guys have amazing leaders. I know you know that. And why don't you give them another hand? They don't ask for that, but they are just amazing people. And to the great saints of this great church, you could just feel the history and the legacy when you walk in. And it is an honor for me and my wife to be here. So glad to have my wife with me. Now, I'm aging. I'm aging. Now, she's not aging quite as much, but that's because she's a few years behind me. And uh so we we're we're getting on up there. At least I am. She won't like that later. But I'm the one climbing the ladder. And uh but God has been good to us. And you're looking at at two people that had lives that got turned upside down. And God so graciously come in and has helped us and has put us back together. And we're thankful for what God is doing. All of the prison ministry celebrate recovery. That is all her and her heart is as big as this room. And last night our top priority was to get on our security cameras at home to see how CR was going on a Friday night. And we thank God for all that he's doing. To my friends that are in the room, God bless you. We love you so much. Amen. Uh if you would remain standing with me, if you would took turn with me to the book of uh Romans, chapter 16. Romans chapter 16. And I'll read also a little bit out of Mark chapter 5. Romans chapter 16, Mark chapter 5. The Bible says, "I commend unto you Phoebe, our sister, which is a servant of the church, which is at Centria, that ye receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and that ye assist her in whatsoever business she hath need of you, for she hath been a securer of many, and of myself also." Verse three, Greek Priscilla and Aquilla, my helpers in Christ Jesus. Verse four, who have for my life laid down their own necks, unto whom not I only give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles. And then just a little bit in verse four, likewise greet the church that is in their house, the church that is in their house. Mark chapter 5 and verse 15. And they came to Jesus and see him that was possessed with the devil and had the legion sitting and clothed in his right mind. And they were afraid and they saw it told them how it befell him that he was possessed with the devil. And also concerning the swine they began to pray him to depart out of their coast. And when he was come to the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him. How be it, Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and he had compassion on thee. I'm going to try to minister this morning on My House is a church house. My house is a church house. If you lay your Bibles down, lift your hands up one more time all over this room. Lord, we love you today. We're so grateful and thankful for this opportunity. God, you are such God. You are such a good God. You're a mighty God. You're a powerful God. I pray, Lord, that you would speak to us in this house today. God, would you move over every life, every soul, every need in this room? And we give you praise and glory in Jesus name. And everybody said, "Amen." Amen. God bless you. May be seated. Praise team, choir. absolutely incredible. Uh this morning I am so thankful today for a place of worship that we can all come into and feel the presence of almighty God. Matter of fact, I I Sunday morning is unlike any morning of the week. And I felt it even though I was in a a hotel room this morning and in a different city, there was an anticipation that got into my spirit knowing that I was going to be able to go to the Lord's house to worship and to magnify and feel the presence of Almighty God. I'm not only thankful to be here, uh, but I'm thankful to be here with all of you. I'm thankful that there was a desire inside of you today to come to church on Sunday with your church family gathering together with people that are dealing with situations. If we was to hand the microphone out, you would be shocked at the things that people in this room right now are dealing with. Difficulties, the struggles of life, trials, tribulations. We've even heard this morning of those that have suffered loss, those that are grieving today. But I'm looking around at a group of people today that that as we come together, we are here to make one another better. We are here today knowing that the person across the aisle from me is actually pulling for me. >> Amen. The people that are in this room actually care about me. They matter of fact, there's nothing like the family of God to be honest. It it doesn't matter what you're going through, where you've been. These people that are in this room will pray with you. They will call you. They will love you. They will encourage you. They'll fix food for you. There's nothing like the family of God. Not only is that the case, but they're also here to help each and every one of us grow in the things of God. AND I PRAY THAT WE WE never get to the place where coming to church is just something on our calendar. It's just something that, you know, well, it's Sunday. We're going to we're going to go to church today. That is important to get that discipline in your life. BUT WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT we need one another. That every person in this room is important. We we need one another. WE WE NEED TO COME together and worship together. THERE'S SOMETHING VERY POWERFUL WHEN I when I begin to HEAR THE MUSIC PLAY AND THE CHOIR STANDS and man, this place is so awesome and beautiful. BUT IT IT'S not about what they're doing up here that is the most important TO ME. IT'S WHAT HAPPENS OUT THERE. When the people OF GOD BEGIN TO STAND and lift up their hands and clap their hands and magnify the name of Jesus, IT IT ENCOURAGES ME. I'LL BE HONEST WITH YOU. I HAVE WALKED INTO SERVICES BEFORE VERY DISCOURAGED ONLY TO BE ENCOURAGED BY THE PEOPLE THAT WERE SITTING FIVE OR 10 OR 15 feet away from me. THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT COMING TOGETHER AND MAGNIFYING and worshiping God. Everybody say together. Come on, TELL YOUR NEIGHBOR SAY I NEED YOU TODAY. It is biblical that we come together with great expectation. David said, "I WAS GLAD when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord because I know when I GET THERE, THE POSSIBILITIES are endless. I KNOW THAT WHEN I GET here and I begin to clap, begin to lift a voice, begin to JOIN IN IN SONG, THAT THERE IS A PROMISE IN SCRIPTURE THAT if I BE LIFTED UP, I'M GOING TO START DRAWING ALL MEN unto me. The Bible tells us that he inhabits the praises of his people. SO, SOMETHING VERY POWERFUL HAPPENS WHEN WE BEGIN TO clap together. You say, "I I don't know IF I WANT TO CLAP TODAY." WELL, MAYBE IT'S NOT FOR YOU TODAY. MAYBE IT'S FOR SOMEBODY ELSE. WELL, WELL, MAYBE I DON'T FEEL LIKE WORSHIPING TODAY, BUT MAYBE I NEED YOU TO WORSHIP TODAY. I MAY NEED THE STRENGTH AND THE ENCOURAGEMENT THAT COMES WHEN WE MAGNIFY THE LORD TOGETHER. DAVID SAID, "OH, MAGNIFY THE LORD WITH ME AND LET US EXALT HIS NAME TOGETHER." All that we are doing started in the second chapter of THE BOOK OF ACTS. AND I KNOW THAT all of you know this. And when the day of PENTECOST WAS FULLY COME, NOTICE THIS WORDING. THEY not one, BUT THEY WERE ALL WITH ONE ACCORD in one place. I wonder what would HAPPEN IF EVERYBODY THAT GOT OUT OF THEIR CAR AT THE GREAT First Apostolic CHURCH OF KNOXVILLE GOT OUT OF THEIR CAR, STARTED CLAPPING their hands, STARTED MARCHING TOWARD THE SANCTUARY, KNOWING THAT WHEN I GET IN THERE TODAY, THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS, THAT MIRACLES, SIGNS, AND WONDERS. COME ON, ANYBODY STILL BELIEVE THAT WE CAN EXPERIENCE THE MIRACULOUS? ANYBODY STILL BELIEVE THAT DEPRESSION CAN BE LIFTED AND THAT HEAVINESS CAN BE LIFTED? ANYBODY STILL BELIEVE TODAY THAT SOMETHING POWERFUL CAN HAPPEN INSIDE THE WALLS OF THIS BUILDING? COME ON. I WAS GLAD WHEN THEY SAID I WAS GLAD WHEN THEY SAID UNTO ME, ANYBODY NEED A BREAKTHROUGH TODAY. YOU'RE IN THE RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME FOR GOD TO DO SOMETHING SUPERNATURAL. THAT'S WHY THAT'S WHY THE LEADERSHIP AND AND AND this is pastor COMING OUT IN ME JUST A LITTLE BIT THIS MORNING. EVEN THOUGH I'M NOT HERE TO PASTOR, THAT'S WHY IT'S IMPORTANT when we come into this ROOM TOGETHER, WE TRY TO PUSH ALL THE DISTRACTIONS TO THE SIDE. WE WE try to, YOU KNOW, LAY EVERYTHING ELSE TO THE SIDE BECAUSE IF WE COULD ALL GET ON THE SAME PAGE, IF WE COULD ALL COME WITH THE SAME PURPOSE IN ONE ACCORD AND IN ONE PLACE, THAT THAT MEANS THEY HAD THE SAME MINDSET. THAT WE'RE NOT HERE JUST TO SHOW UP. WE'RE NOT HERE JUST TO LOOK PRETTY EVEN THOUGH YOU LOOK PRETTY. WE'RE NOT HERE TO SHOW OFF OUR OUR LATEST STYLE EVEN THOUGH YOU LOOK NICE. THAT'S NOT THE REASON WHY WE'RE HERE. WE'RE NOT HERE JUST TO THROW A TITHE IN THE OFFERING PAN. WE'RE NOT HERE, WE'RE NOT HERE JUST SO THEY CAN TAKE OUR NAME DOWN. WE ARE HERE ON PURPOSE TODAY. WE HAVE COME WITH THE MINDSET THAT IF I COULD JUST EXALT THE NAME OF JESUS, IF I CAN LIFT UP THE NAME OF JESUS, COME ON. IS THERE ANYBODY IN THE ROOM TODAY THAT NEEDS GOD TO STEP IN TO A SITUATION, TO STEP INTO A MARRIAGE, TO STEP INTO MY LIFE? Jesus said in Matthew chapter 18 verse 18, "Verily I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatsoever you shall LOOSE ON EARTH SHALL BE loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask it shall BE DONE OF THEM OF MY FOR THEM EXCUSE ME OF MY FATHER which is in heaven. Now we use the next verse sometimes to make an excuse if we're having a lower crowd. We we USE IT YOU KNOW ON A WEDNESDAY NIGHT WHEN you can shoot a shotgun IN THE BUILDING AND NOT HIT ANYBODY. I don't know if y'all have ever been there BUT I'VE BEEN THERE PLENTY of times. BUT WE MISUSE THE SCRIPTURE WHEN WE SAY WHERE TWO OR THREE ARE GATHERED TOGETHER IN MY NAME. JESUS DIDN'T SPEAK THAT OUT SO IT WOULD BE A VERSE THAT WE COULD FEEL BETTER ABOUT OURSEL ON A WEDNESDAY NIGHT WHEN WE HAVE A LOW CROWD. JESUS WAS SAYING YOU DON'T HAVE TO HAVE A BIG CROWD FOR ME TO SHOW UP. HE SAID IF I CAN JUST GET TWO OR THREE OF YOU TOGETHER IN MY NAME. HE SAID THERE AM I IN THE MIDST OF THEM. I DON'T KNOW HOW MANY'S HERE TODAY, BUT I KNOW THERE'S MORE THAN TWO OR THREE, BUT IF I COULD JUST GET A COUPLE OF YOU FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF MINUTES THAT WOULD COME INTO AGREEMENT WITH ME AND SAY, "I NEED GOD TO SHOW UP. I NEED A MIRACLE IN MY LIFE. I NEED A HEALING IN MY BODY. I NEED A BREAKTHROUGH IN MY FINANCES. IF I COULD GET A COUPLE OVER HERE AND A COUPLE OVER HERE, IT AIN'T NO TELLING WHAT GOD WOULD DO ON A SUNDAY MORNING IN JUST A FEW MOMENTS OF TIME. COME ON, YOU OUGHT TO CLAP YOUR HANDS INTO THE LORD AND SAY, I BELIEVE IT'S FOR ME. COME ON, CLAP YOUR HANDS. I BELIEVE IT'S FOR ME. HALLELUJAH. It's biblical that we're together. We need one another. I'll be honest with you. I I've been in church when it was just a couple of us and I was thankful to be there. But boy, I was really thankful when I seen the doors open UP AND MORE PEOPLE STARTED COMING IN. AMEN. WE KNOW WHAT CAN HAPPEN. This is an APOSTOLIC CHURCH. WE KNOW THAT IF JESUS SHOWS UP, powerful things can happen. Sicknesses can be healed. Addictions can be broken. HEAVINESS CAN BE LIFTED. FORGIVENESS CAN BE GIVEN. SALVATION IS HERE. MIGHTY THINGS HAPPEN IN THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD. MIGHTY THINGS HAPPEN. I I WISHED I COULD GET JUST A FEW OF YOU TO HELP ME TO JUST BELIEVE FOR JUST A MOMENT THAT I'M HERE FOR A REASON TODAY. THAT THERE'S A PURPOSE FOR ME GETTING OUT OF MY HOUSE TODAY. COME ON. IF YOU GOT UP AND DRESSED UP AND AND GAS $4 A GALLON AND CAME ACROSS TOWN, YOU MIGHT AS WELL GET YOUR MONEY'S WORTH, BABY. WHEN YOU GET INTO THIS SANCTUARY, YOU OUGHT TO MAKE UP YOUR MIND. I'M NOT GOING TO LEAVE UNTIL HE TOUCHES ME. I'M NOT GOING TO WALK OUT OF THE BUILDING UNTIL THERE'S A BREAKTHROUGH IN MY I'M NOT GOING TO I'M NOT GOING TO LEAVE THE BUILDING UNTIL I FEEL THE POWER OF THE HOLY GHOST REST UPON ME. HALLELUJAH. HEBREWS CHAPTER 10. LET US HOLD FAST TO THE PROFESSION OF OUR FAITH WITHOUT WAVERING. FOR HE IS FAITHFUL THAT PROMISE. AND LET US CONSIDER ONE ANOTHER TO PROVOKE UNTO LOVE AND TO GOOD WORKS. AND THEN THIS VERSE OF SCRIPTURE, NOT FORSAKING THE ASSEMBLING OF OURSELVES TOGETHER AS MANNER OF SOME IS, BUT EXHORTING ONE ANOTHER. AND SO MUCH MORE. AS YOU SEE THE DAY APPROACHING, AS THE WORLD WAXES WORSE AND WORSE, YOU AND I NEED MORE OF THIS. COME ON. I KNOW that may NOT BE FOR EVERYBODY IN THE ROOM, BUT MAYBE IT'S FOR SOMEBODY IN THE ROOM THAT'S BEEN TALKING ABOUT HOW WE NEED LESS CHURCH. I'M TIRED OF GOING TO THAT PLACE AND HEARING THE SAME OLD THING. LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING, BABY. THE ONLY THING THAT'S GOING TO PUSH BACK AGAINST THE DARKNESS IS WHAT WE'RE DOING INSIDE THIS ROOM TODAY. THE ONLY THING THAT'S GETTING BETTER IS THE CHURCH. THE WORLD IS GETTING WORSE. COME ON. THE WORLD IS GETTING MORE DESTITUTE, MORE IMMORAL, MORE UNGODLY. WE NEED THE CHURCH TO GET BIGGER. WE NEED THE CHURCH TO GET BETTER. WE NEED MORE OF WHAT WE'RE DOING RIGHT NOW. WE DON'T NEED LESS OF THIS. WE NEED MORE OF THIS. >> Come on. We need MORE PRAYER MEETINGS. WE NEED MORE TIMES OF PRAISE. AND I I KNOW I'M PREACHING TO PEOPLE THAT THIS IS YOUR THIS IS YOUR FOURTH SERVICE THIS WEEK AND YOU'VE BEEN GIVEN TIME AND ENERGY TO VACUUMING AND CLEANING AND SERVING AND ALL OF THAT. I KNOW I'M PREACHING TO SOME PEOPLE TODAY THAT MAY BE A LITTLE TIRED AND BODY, BUT COULD I PREACH TO THAT SPIRIT ON THE INSIDE OF YOU? WE NEED THIS MORE NOW THAN EVER. WE NEED MORE PRAISING GOD TOGETHER. WE NEED MORE WORSHIPING TOGETHER. WE NEED TO BE ENCOURAGED TO BE IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD. HALLELUJAH. I don't need less church. Tell your neighbor, say, "I need more church." Come on. Don't be mean about it, BUT TELL THEM, SAY, "YOU especially need more church." I don't need no wives looking at their husband and giving them the look right now. But we need more church. WE NEED MORE OF WHAT WE'RE DOING RIGHT NOW. AND I BELIEVE I TELL OUR church in Nashville this and don't don't don't think I'm TRYING TO INFLUENCE THIS CONGREGATION TODAY, BUT I'M JUST GOING TO TELL YOU WHAT I TELL OUR PEOPLE. I BELIEVE THAT THERE'S COMING A TIME WHEN SEVEN DAYS A WEEK THE DOORS OF NEW LIFE ARE GOING TO HAVE TO BE OPEN. I TELL THE CHURCH IN CLARKSVILLE THAT I TOOK OVER A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO THAT MY GRANDFATHER PASTORED FOR A FOR A LONG TIME, STARTED IN 1965. IT'S GOT A 300 SEAT AUDITORIUM THERE. IT WAS DOWN TO BARELY NOTHING. AND WE WENT UP THERE AND STARTED HAVING SERVICE AGAIN. GOD'S GIVEN US REVIVAL THERE. BUT IT'S NOT THE WILL OF GOD THAT WE HAVE A 300 SEAT AUDITORIUM AND HOW 50 OR 60 ON SUNDAY. IT IS THE WILL OF GOD THAT THE BUILDING BE FILLED TO CAPACITY. I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE CAPACITY IS IN THIS ROOM RIGHT NOW, BUT I'M TELLING YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS, IT'S GOING TO BE FILLED IN THE NAME OF JESUS. IT'S GOING TO BE FULL IN THE NAME OF JESUS. I I just believe THAT THE WORLD IS GOING TO GET TO THE PLACE WHERE THEY'RE GOING TO BE KNOCKING ON OUR DOORS SAYING, "THE LAST TIME I WAS HERE IS THE LAST TIME I EVER FELT PEACE. THE LAST TIME I CAME TO CHURCH HERE, I FELT JOY HERE. I FELT LOVE HERE." COME ON. WE GOT TO OPEN THE DOORS UP AND SAY, "WHOSOEVER WILL, LET HIM COME AND DRINK OF THE WATER OF LIFE FREELY." >> I had somebody had somebody to to talk come up to me the OTHER DAY SAID, "PASTOR SAID SAID uh his name is Charlie and uh and and he's been free from uh uh uh crack cocaine for now two years. We celebrate that today. Two years free of crack cocaine and and we put up a BIG CELEBRATE RECOVERY SIGN OUT IN THE FRONT YARD OF our church and 6:30 EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT WE HAVE CELEBRATE RECOVERY." And uh WE'RE THE ONLY CELEBRATE RECOVERY IN THE MIDDLE TENNESSEE area that has HAS SERVICE ON FRIDAY NIGHT. And and and the reason why that was was because the leaders of CR who we met in prison by the way and uh she said she SAID LISTEN ON FRIDAY NIGHTS PEOPLE ARE LOOKING THEY'RE LOOKING TO GO OUT AND PARTY. SAID WE NEED AN OPTION. We need a SAID FRIDAY NIGHT'S FINE WITH US. SO WE GO TO CHURCH ON SUNDAY IN NASHVILLE. WE GO TO CHURCH AT TWO O'CLOCK IN CLARKSVILLE. ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON, I PREACH BIBLE STUDY. ON TUESDAY NIGHT, WE HAVE WEDNESDAY NIGHT CHURCH IN NASHVILLE. AND EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT AT 6:30, WE OPEN THE DOORS UP AND A GROUP OF PEOPLE walk through the room THAT YOU'RE LIKE, "DEAR GOD, ARE WE MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN THIS LIFE?" BUT LET ME TESTIFY ABOUT OLD CHARLIE. OH, CHARLIE WALKED IN TO A CELEBRATE RECOVERY ON A FRIDAY NIGHT BECAUSE HE SEEN A SIGN. HE COME TO CHURCH ON FRIDAY NIGHT. HE COME TO CR ON FRIDAY NIGHT. SOMEBODY SAID, "MAN, IF YOU THINK THIS IS GOOD, YOU OUGHT TO COME BACK ON SUNDAY MORNING." HE CAME BACK ON SUNDAY MORNING. THE NEXT SUNDAY, CHARLIE, COME BACK IN TO CHURCH. HE TOLD ME, HE SAID, "PREACHER," HE SAID, "THE OLD CHURCH THAT I USED TO GO TO," HE SAID, "I DIDN'T FEEL NONE OF THIS UP THERE." HE SAID, "I FELT BAD ABOUT TELLING THEM, BUT I FOUND A PLACE WHERE THE GRACE OF GOD IS BEING POURED OUT. I FOUND A PLACE WHERE THE SPIRIT, COME ON, WE BAPTIZE CHARLIE IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST. HE'S NOW BRINGING HIS GRANDBABIES TO THE HOUSE OF GOD. DON'T TELL ME. DON'T TELL ME I NEED LESS OF THIS. I NEED MORE OF THIS. He said that man, he didn't give me no credit at all, which is fine. Brother Jamie Lambert was leading worship that morning. If you've ever heard Brother Jamie Lambert sing, man, I'm telling you what, it's powerful and anointed. He said, "Pastor," he said, "I WALKED IN," HE SAID, "that dude that was leading worship," he said, "all I could do was cry. It wasn't what brother Jamie was, it wasn't what what he was doing. IT WAS THE GOD THAT WAS WORKING THROUGH HIM." CHARLIE KNEW, "I DON'T FEEL THIS IN WALMART. I DON'T FEEL THIS SITTING ON A BAR STOOL. I DON'T FEEL THIS IN OTHER PLACES." COME ON. WHAT WE HAVE IN THIS ROOM IS SPECIAL. WHAT WE ARE FEELING IN THIS ROOM TODAY IS SPECIAL. WHAT YOU HAVE IN THIS ROOM, DON'T TAKE IT FOR GRANTED. THERE ARE PEOPLE OUTSIDE THIS BUILDING RIGHT NOW. I PRAY FOR REVIVAL IN KNOXVILLE LIKE WE'VE NEVER SEEN BEFORE. I PRAY FOR EVERY CHURCH IN THIS CITY TO SEE THE REVELATION OF JESUS' NAME. I PRAY FOR EVERY CHURCH IN THIS CITY TO BE FILLED TO CAPACITY. COME ON. WE NEED THE CHURCH. WE NEED TO BE TOGETHER. WE NEED TO BE WORSHIPING TOGETHER. WE NEED TO BE MAGNIFYING TOGETHER. Our help is here. Our strength is here. DELIVERANCE IS HERE. ENCOURAGEMENT IS HERE. DON'T STAY AWAY FROM THE CHURCH. I'VE GOT TO GET BACK TO THE HOUSE OF GOD. >> David said in 16 AND 11 OF PSALM, HE SAID, "YOU make known TO ME THE PATH OF LIFE. WHEN I GATHER IN THIS BUILDING, DIRECTION COMES. HOW MANY OF YOU KNOW HOW MANY I HAD I HAD A GUY COME UP TO ME LAST SUNDAY. HE SAID, "PASTOR, now now I can't say what he said." I I I don't know what you're going through, Rick. I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE FACING. ALL I KNOW IS THAT GOD BEGINS TO DEAL WITH A MAN. HE BEGINS TO PUT A WORD INSIDE OF HIS SPIRIT THAT IN THIS ROOM TODAY, HOWEVER MANY PEOPLE IS HERE, SO MANY DIFFERENT SITUATIONS, THAT WORD OF GOD COMES FORTH. IT BEGINS TO MINISTER TO THAT ONE BEGINS TO YOU DON'T YOU DON'T FIND THIS ON THE JOB. YOU DON'T EXPERIENCE THIS AT THE NEIGHBORHOOD GATHERING. YOU DON'T COME ON. IT'S IN THE HOUSE OF GOD. THE DEVIL'S VOICE OF DEPRESSION AND FEAR AND ANXIETY AND PANIC AND SUICIDAL THOUGHTS AND THE TEMPTATIONS ARE NOT PREVALENT WHILE I'M INSIDE THE FOUR walls of this building. OUR TROUBLES DON'T SEEM TO REALLY HAPPEN INSIDE OF THE HOUSE OF GOD. HERE'S MY MESSAGE TODAY. AND IF YOU'LL GIVE ME JUST A COUPLE OF MINUTES, IT'S TIME THAT WE TAKE WHAT WE HAVE HERE HOME WITH US. THE DEVIL IS BEATING OUR BRAINS OUT OUTSIDE OF THE CHURCH BUILDING. THE ATTACKS ARE VICIOUS OUTSIDE OF THE FOUR WALLS OF THE CHURCH. THE DEMONIC FORCES ARE TORMENTING OUTSIDE OF THIS PLACE. WHY? I felt bold that day and and I said I said I SAID SISTER JESS I SAID I believe that if you would start WORSHIPING IN YOUR HOUSE THE WAY YOU WORSHIP in here I SAID SOMETHING POWERFUL WOULD TRANSFORM YOUR LIFE. I said, "MATTER OF FACT, SHE GOT TWO SMALL LITTLE KIDS." I SAID, "SOMEBODY HELP SISTER JESS ON THE WAY OUT THE doors today." I said, "SISTER JESS, I JUST DARE YOU WHEN WE DISMISS SERVICE THAT YOU WALK OUT OF THE DOORS HAND CLAPPING AND PRAISING, YOU SAY, "OH, PREACHER, THAT'S A LITTLE BIT MUCH. DON'T YOU THINK?" WELL, IF YOU'VE NOT BEEN WHERE SOME PEOPLE HAVE BEEN, IT WON'T MAKE SENSE TO YOU. >> Come on. IT WON'T MAKE SENSE TO YOU. BUT OH, JESS, SISTER JESS STOOD UP. SHE SAID, "I'M NOT GOING TO WAIT TILL YOU DISMISS." SHE SAID, "I'M GOING TO DO IT RIGHT NOW." AND SHE TOOK OFF OUT THE BACK DOORS OF THE APOSTOLIC FAITH TABERNACLE IN CLARKSVILLE, TENNESSEE, AND STARTED CLAPPING AND LIFTING UP HER VOICE RIGHT OUT IN THE PARKING LOT. WELL, IT WASN'T VERY LONG TO I WAS RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF PREACHING. >> IT WASN'T VERY LONG THAT TWO OR THREE MORE SAID, "IF SHE CAN DO IT, THEN WE CAN DO IT." I RAN TO THE BACK DOOR WHILE I WAS PREACHING JUST GETTING A LOOK AT IT THAT'S OUT THERE WORSHIPING GOD. COME ON. IF WE CAN GET IT OUTSIDE THE FOUR WALLS OF THIS BUILDING, OPEN UP THE CAR DOOR AND SAY, "PRAISE, YOU'RE GOING HOME WITH ME. JOY, YOU'RE GOING HOME WITH ME. DANCING, YOU'RE GOING HOME WITH ME. WE'RE GOING TO TURN OUR HOUSE INTO A CHURCH HOUSE." >> The majority of us have all kinds of other noises in our house. TV noise, music noise, gossiping noise, complaining noise, arguing, and I know not in some, but there would be some. Cussing, confusion, ALL KINDS OF NOISE FILLING our atmospheres, people slamming doors, disrespect from children, children to parents, and from parents to children. We got the noise of movies. WE GOT THE NOISE OF NETFLIX. We got THE NOISE OF MANY OTHER THINGS. AND ALL DAY LONG, SATAN IS SENDING BOMBS INTO OUR HOUSES. BOMBS OF ADDICTION INTO OUR HOMES, BOMBS OF DEPRESSION INTO OUR MINDS. I WONDER IF SOMETHING WOULD GET A HOLD OF US AND SAY, "LISTEN, IF I CAN FEEL PEACE IN CHURCH, THEN I CAN FEEL PEACE IN MY HOUSE. IF I CAN DANCE IN THE CHURCH, THEN I CAN DANCE AT HOME." I DARE SOMEBODY. I DARE SOMEBODY TO GO HOME THIS AFTERNOON. AND RATHER THAN JUST WALKING IN THE SAME OLD WAY, THROWING YOUR SHOES OFF AND LAYING DOWN ON THE COUCH, I WONDER WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF A MAN TOOK HIS WIFE BY THE HAND AND SAID, "WE GOING TO WALK BACK INTO THIS HOUSE WORSHIPING. WE GOING TO WALK BACK HOME TODAY PRAISING AND MAGNIFYING AND GLORIFYING GOD." I'M GOING TO TELL YOU WHAT WOULD HAPPEN. THAT MARRIAGE TOOLBOX WOULD FILL BACK UP. THAT LOVE WOULD COME BACK AROUND. LET YOUR KIDS GO. HALLELUJAH. DON'T LET YOUR KIDS ONLY SEE YOU LIFT HANDS HERE. LET THEM SEE DADDY IN THE LIVING ROOM AT NIGHT. SAID, "GOD, I JUST WANT TO THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER." COME ON. Heard this person testify about this. said, "Some of my kids weren't sleeping at night, and I don't want to touch any So, my kids weren't sleeping at night." She told this at a lady's prayer meeting. This wasn't at our church. I heard a testimony about it. She said, "I need y'all to pray for pray for my kids that our our kids aren't sleeping at night. Something's going on. Well, the old church mothers. Oh, thank God for the old church mothers. Thank God for the senior saints that you may not be able to run like you used to. You may not be able to dance like you used. That's why some of you young whippers snappers out there. Oh, some of you people in here in your 20s and 30s, you never seen this couple right here when they were in their 20s and 30s. You see him pacing across the floor at a slow pace now, but you didn't see him when he was 25 and 30 and he was running and preaching like his hair was on fire. Come on. I thank God for the seniors in this room right now. I thank you. I SAY THIS RESPECTFULLY. I THANK GOD FOR THE GRAYHAIRED PEOPLE IN THIS ROOM THAT HAVE KEPT UP what we're doing right now. I ain't worried about your dishes in the sink. I'M HERE TO FIND OUT WHY THE devil's not letting your children sleep. This sweet little mama makes her way over to that bedroom door. She opens the door and says, "This is where the babies sleep." She shuts the door. SHE SAID, "GIVE ME A FEW MINUTES IN HERE." WOO! Lord have mercy. Lord have mercy. THAT'S THE WAY IT USED TO BE. I'M GOING TO TELL YOU, WE USED TO GET UP ALL IN PEOPLE'S BUSINESS. WE USED TO NOT TOLERATE ALL THIS MESS THAT PEOPLE SAY, "OH, IT'LL BE NO, NO, NO, NO. WE MIGHT AS WELL DEAL WITH THIS STUFF. I may not be back tonight." So, this old mama starts praying. The mama sitting out on the couch nervous because inside the four walls of their baby's bedroom she hears banging and talking IN TONGUES AND OH IN THE NAME OF JESUS IN THE NIGHT BIND AND EVERYTHING that can move. I mean laid hands on Mickey Mouse and everything. I mean I mean they're laying hands on everything in the room. Laying hands on everything in the room. She opens the door. She said everything ought to be all right now. >> Well, what do you mean? She said, "Well, I come in here and I found the problem." And I'm not going to say what the thing is BECAUSE SOME OF Y'ALL get offended at me, but some of the kids had some little little things in the house that that that didn't didn't need to be there. I'm just going to put it that way. And the old praying mama went IN THERE AND SAID, "GOD, IF YOU'LL SHOW ME WHAT THIS IS, SHOW ME WHAT THIS STRONGHOLD IS." I'M TELLING SOME OF US TODAY, I KNOW I KEEP REPEATING MYSELF, BUT IF YOU CAN DO IT HERE, THEN YOU CAN DO IT THERE. COME ON. IF YOU CAN TALK IN TONESUES UP AROUND THESE ALTARS, YOU CAN TALK IN TONESUES WHILE YOU'RE WASHING DISHES. COME ON. IF YOU CAN PRAISE GOD AROUND THE BUILDING, THEN YOU CAN PRAISE GOD ON THE SIDEWALK. IS THERE ANY FAMILIES IN THIS ROOM THAT SAID, "I'M READY TO MAKE MY HOUSE A CHURCH HOUSE. I'M READY TO TAKE CHURCH HOME with me. Paul said, he said, "I want you to greet some people for me." He said, "I want you to GREET THOSE PEOPLE THAT ARE HAVING CHURCH in their house." Come on. They didn't just do it here. They did it there. Come on. AND I CHALLENGE THIS GREAT CHURCH TODAY ALL OVER THE CITY OF KNOXVILLE. LET'S MAKE A A BUNCH OF FAC'S. LET'S TAKE FAC TO EVERY CORNER TO THE NORTH, SOUTH, EAST, AND WEST.
