Summary
Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.
The Days of Noah
- The thoughts of men's hearts were only evil continually, wickedness was great in the earth, and it grieved the Lord that he had made man
- The root problem then and now is the heart of man; the earth had become full of corruption and violence, and God's patience was waning
- Jesus said his return will be much like the days of Noah, and the sins that produced the deluge have surfaced again in our day
Scriptures: Genesis 6:5-9, 13-17
Noah Found Grace
- Noah came from the godly line of Seth — Lamech, Methuselah, and Enoch who walked with God — and he decided to walk by faith against his culture
- Noah was just and blameless in his generations, which does not mean sinless: it means he kept walking by faith and let his failures lead him to repentance
- Faith is not hereditary and God has no grandchildren: each person must be born again and have a relationship with God for himself; God shares his secrets and plans with those who live by faith and listen
Scriptures: Genesis 6:5-9, 13-17; Amos 3:7
The Hall of Faith Is a Hall of Failures
- Hebrews 11 could also be called the hall of failures: Noah got drunk after the flood, Moses killed a man and failed through unbelief, and Abraham lied about his wife
- God does not require perfection to live this life; he requires faithfulness — get up after a bad day and keep walking by faith, for his mercies are new every morning
- You do not have to go with your generation or be popular; walk by faith and not by sight, and you will stand out
Scriptures: Hebrews 11 (chapter, as spoken)
Build It Exactly as He Said
- God gave Noah exact instructions: gopher wood — hard, dense, and enduring — and the long building time was itself grace, every swing of the hammer another day for someone to repent
- The ark was pitched within and without, and the word pitch means atonement: atonement covers the inside of a man and the outside of a man, keeping him from springing a leak
- There was one window at the top and not windows in the sides: God wants his people looking up toward their redeemer, not out at the judgment and the noise of the world
- There was one door in the side of the ark, and Jesus is the door: salvation comes only through him, and there is no other way in
Scriptures: Genesis 6:5-9, 13-17
Get In While There Is Time
- Only eight people were saved, and a preacher who wins the world and loses his family is a failure: what is preached in the pulpit must be lived at home
- The plan is God's, not man's: believe, repent, be baptized, and be born again of the water and of the Spirit — the preacher did not write it and cannot change it
- The mockers delayed until the rain was at their knees; do not delay — the door of salvation is open now, in this present age of grace
Scriptures: John 3:5

we're not victims we are victors oh are you hearing me already we are we are victors we are not victims we reign with christ in victory to get your bibles we're going to go to genesis chapter number six genesis chapter number six and as you're turning there allow me to give honor to our bishop our pastor pastor anthony all of our leadership all the ministry teams we honor you this evening [Music] i love the church don't you you love the church this is the greatest place to be is to be in the house of the lord with his presence and with his people at apostolic christian school i like to preach sermon series on fridays at our elevate student chapel that way i like to just for me this is just my preference i like to preach systematically so i can show people how it all fits together i want people to see the word of god is one cohesive story and so this year we started a sermon series on friday mornings called the grand story of redemption and i want to share part of that with you this evening a story that you no doubt are familiar with and once you see uh my title here you might think it might be absolutely prophetic on an evening like this genesis chapter number six i'm going to read verse number five we'll skip around in chapter number six and god saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually and it repented the lord that he had made man on the earth and it grieved him at his heart and the lord said i will destroy man whom i have created from the face of the earth both man and beast and the creeping thing and the fowls of the air for it repenteth me that i have made them look at verse number eight but noah found grace in the eyes of the lord oh what a what a glimpse of grace just a just a little speck of light and darkness that man found grace in the eyes of the lord skip down to verse number 14 this is what the lord tells noah make thee an ark of gopher wood room shut the make in the ark and shall pitch it within and without with pitch and this is the fashion god has a plan god has a plan he always has a plan this is the fashion the pattern which thou shalt make but the length of the ark shall be 300 cubits the breadth of it fifty cubits and the height of it thirty cubits a window shalt thou make to the ark and in a cubit shout thou finish it above and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof with lower second and third story shout out make it verse number 17 will conclude here and behold i even i do bring a flood of waters upon the earth to destroy all flesh wherein is the breath of life from under heaven and everything that is in the earth shall die tonight i want to preach just for a little while a man and his boat a man in his but we might need a boat after that rain we had this afternoon he said he wouldn't flood the earth again but it certainly looked that way this afternoon didn't it let's pray the lord would speak to us through his word again tonight father we thank you for your spirit we thank you for the great time of worship we've experienced the time of giving the time of fellowship but lord i pray that the spirit of the lord would illuminate the word of god let the word be see finding good ground in the hearts of your people that it bring into fruition a harvest of 30 60 and 100 fold let your word be a hammer god to break apart the stony hearts of our life and be and let it be replaced with a heart of flesh but god i pray right now that the word of god would also induce faith in your people faith to obedience to the word of the lord in jesus name we pray and everyone said amen why don't you clap your hands again tonight come on somebody clap your hands [Applause] come on can we give him more than a golf clap right now come on can we can we give him more than just a well isn't that nice come on somebody give me praise right now somebody giving praise right now oh hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah oh hallelujah [Applause] a man a man and his boat a man in his boat a period of fifteen hundred years lies between the fall of adam and the flood of noah books could be written about this time but the holy spirit compresses this length of time this period of time this history of time to only 140 verses in just five and a half chapters in genesis the day and hour in which noah lived was not much different than ours they may not have had the technical advancement that we have today but the condition of man's heart has not advanced at all since the days of noah the thoughts of men were evil continually wickedness was great in the earth and the spirit of the lord was not going to continually strive with man it grieved the lord that he had even created man the storm had been brewing for some time and god was about to destroy man from off the face of the earth two questions how to get so bad and what caused god to want to destroy the earth the answer to both questions is sin sin had increased more and more the flesh of man was out of control the thoughts of men were sinful and wicked the actions of men were vile and ungodly and the pop as the population of men increased upon the face of the earth there was an increase of sinful behaviors the depravity of man had sunk the human race into iniquity humanity was drowning in the floods of vile perversion and god was about to destroy it the root problem of man was and is his heart the heart of man is wicked and deceitful the prophet jeremiah tells us the problem of that day was man's heart and imagination and the problem today is man's heart and imagination what grieves god is the wickedness of our heart is it any wonder that one of god's promises is to change our stony heart and to replace it with a heart of flesh man's heart was wicked and the earth had become full of corruption three times in this account the word corrupt is used to describe the world's condition the word for corrupt in the hebrew is defined as decayed spoiled and wasted the earth was decaying with the evil of men's heart violence was rising and god's patience was waning god had enough of man's declining morality there will come a day brothers and sisters that god's patience will run out there will come a day when god's spirit will no longer strive with men of the 21st century jesus said that the day in which he will return will be much like not the days of moses not the days of david but he said his his return will be like the days of noah the sins that produce the deluge have surfaced again in our own day and are fast reaching towards heaven noah brothers and sisters was from the godly offspring of seth noah's father was lamech and his grandfather was methuselah and noah's great-grandfather was enoch the man who walked with god no doubt noah had heard of the great stories of his great-grandfather enoch who lived by faith and walked with god oh but enoch walked with god in god took him he was translated or raptured out of here here's a picture of the rapture here's a picture of a man walking with god and god took him that's noah's great grandfather he comes from a line of men who walked in faith despite their generation that's that's noah's example his example was i'm going to look after i want to follow the pattern of those who walked by faith it says here noah found grace in the eyes of the lord it looked as though wickedness was going to prevail in the earth but when the eyes of the lord looked to and fro he found a man noah was a just man and a perfect man in his generations the word perfect does not mean that he was without failure that's not what that means it means that he walked upright and blameless he decided i'm not going to walk with the culture i'm going to walk against the culture i'm not going to allow culture to dictate my life and my decisions instead i'm going to follow the pattern of those who walk in faith before me i want you to know that you can walk in faith in this day and hour god's looking for some young men and some young women who will walk with god you don't have to go with the culture you don't have to go with your generation you don't have to be influenced by the world instead you can be that which brings influence you can stand out if you want to stand out just simply walk by faith if you want to stand out if you want to be counter cultural live by this book that doesn't mean you're going to be popular you're going to stand out you're going to stick out you're not going to be doing everything else like everybody else is doing you're going to say things differently your world view is going to be different your decisions are going to be different but you can decide right now that i'm going to walk by faith you can decide right now i'm not going to have to live like everybody else lives oh i wish somebody was helping me right now come on you can be blameless you can be blameless that does not mean you're sinless that means you walk by faith in spite of your failures you don't let your failures define you instead your failures lead you to repentance to keep on walking by faith oh hallelujah i i like hebrews 11. i've been studying the book of hebrews in hebrews 11 we call it the hall of faith we should also call it the hall of failures we should call it it's that we go it's the hall of faith hebrews chapter number 11. it's also a hall of failures think about noah here and i'm just jumping away ahead outside of my notes here think about know who got stone cold drunk after the flood think about moses who killed a man who didn't believe god who had public unbelief and failed to get into the promised land he's in hebrews number 11. think about abraham who lied consistently about his relationship with his wife and also had a child with somebody else that's the hall of faith listen faith doesn't mean perfection [Music] [Applause] you're you're trying to you're trying to live up to something that's not even in the bible god put people in the hall of faith who are failures who are who are who are not perfect you don't have to be perfect to live this life what you've got to do is stay faithful you got to have some stick-to-itiveness you got to say i want to pick myself up and keep walking by faith did i have a bad day yes but i get another day tomorrow and his mercies are new tomorrow so i'll keep walking by faith i wish somebody was hearing me you don't have to be perfect you have to be faithful someone say amen [Applause] you could walk by faith and not by sight walk by faith and not by your feelings you need to follow somebody's somebody's blueprint somebody's example he had a he had a grandfather who walked by faith he had a father who walked by faith he had a great grandfather who walked by faith but can i tell you faith is not hereditary [Applause] faith is not in your dna you must be born again you must be born just because your mama lived it doesn't mean you've got it just because your grandpa had it doesn't mean you have it you must have i wish somebody was hearing me you must be born you have to have it for yourself i'm talking to some teenager right now i'm talking to somebody in an adultish right now just because your parents had it doesn't mean you've got it you have to have a relationship with god for yourself you must have a conversion experience you've heard me say it before i'll say it again god doesn't have grandchildren god is not granddaddy he is father and if you want god to be your father you have to become a child of god and you must be born again of the water and of the spirit you can't get into heaven based upon somebody else's experience you must be born again oh hallelujah someone say amen oh but noah found grace noah found grace god is going to destroy the earth he said at the end of all flesh has come before me the earth is filled with violence through them and behold i will destroy them with the earth but noah found favor he found grace god always has a way of escape but he's looking for somebody who will listen he's looking for somebody whose ear is tuned to the spirit he will tell you he says in amos he said i will share my secrets with my prophets i want i want god to share his secrets with me i want god to share his i want god to share his secrets with me but in order for god to share his secrets and his plans with you you must be a person living by faith you must have your hearing he that has ears to hear let him hear and the spirit is speaking expressly right now you must listen and so the lord tells noah i've got a plan i've got a plan i'm going to destroy this whole earth but i've got a plan god's anger is at boiling point he gave him a blueprint he's going to give him a way of escape here is god ready to send the deluge of judgment upon the whole earth and he gives us a peek at his amazing grace despite god willing to destroy our flesh he's still willing to give them a time to repent i've got something in plan noah will you follow it noah here's what i want you to do i've got a plan for you to build an ark i'm i'm going to destroy the earth with water and i'm going i'm wanting you to build an ark and so god gives him the instructions but noah's not like dads on christmas morning no it doesn't open the box look at the instructions and go i think i'll wing it any dads know what i'm talking about on christmas day i remember my dad being so frustrated putting things together for me and i thought i'll never be like that and now i'm like please don't give this child anything that i have to put together please let it be let it be some assembly acquired call pastor mccool call papa call bishop because again this guy does not have that gifting that gift was not given to me noah doesn't look at god's instructions and goes you know what god will make this boat a lot better god you know what i know you're going to destroy the earth but let me just go ahead and have your ear for a moment i've got some inside i have some history here some experience and let me just tell you i think god's not looking for noah's opinion or his insight god does not give the know of the opportunity to object to object or to disagree with his plans god says i'm going to destroy the earth and this is the plan will you obey it this is it you can't take out parts and pieces that you don't deem necessary god knows what he's included and he's included all the pieces for a purpose i got some extra pieces here what's this do go in the trash that's what you do right say put in a little drawer later thank you i'll come back to if i need it no that's not we can't do that with god's plan oh i'm going somewhere i'm trying not to get ahead of myself here but god has a plan and noah does it by faith number one noah build an ark out of gopher wood gopher wood god is so specific god knows exactly what he wants to do he knows exactly what it's going to take for noah and whoever else to survive this judgment god knows and i want you to build this ark out of gopher wood first of all noah had never seen a boat before think about that it had never rained before in genesis chapter number two it says the earth was watered by the dew of the ground never had rained some some say that noah lived somewhere in the uh you know in mesopotamia in between the euphrates and the tigris he never he he probably had never even seen a body of water before never seen a never seen a puddle never seen water come from the sky and god says we're going to build an ark together what's an ark what's an ark it's it's gonna you just trust me just build it and i want you to i have specific materials that i want you to use i want you to build this out of gopher wood noah was not to build this ark out of cedar or pine not walnut not maple gopher the ancient peoples would use gopher wood to make their coffins the gates of saint peter's at rome was made of gopher wood they lasted over a thousand years from the time of constantine to the time of eugene iv without any signs of decay thus gopherwood was indestructible god knows what it's going to take to keep you saved [Music] and if i try to build it with my own material out of my own fleshly desires you know what's going to happen it's going to sink when i decide i'm going to try to build my salvation out of my own materials god is going to look at you and go it's not going to last there's a reason why he chose that and if he chose that it will keep do i have some elders in this house who can testify and say it's kept me saved it's kept me holy it's come on this salvation will keep you is there anybody in here who can testify that he's kept you in spite of your bad days he's kept you in spite of your trouble if he i wish somebody was hearing me right now god's salvation will be indestructible the blood of jesus christ isn't going to fade away over time there is no shelf life for the salvation those who have been saved for decades can testify to the keeping power of god's salvation [Music] [Applause] it's not pine not cedar it's not denominationalism it's not to be built out of organizations god's salvation is built upon jesus christ and his sacrifice and his resurrection and his spirit it is not up to us to decide what to build this salvation out of and the lord says this to noah he says build it out of gopher wood you know how long it's going to take for me to build that and god says yes it's hard it's dense the broad way noah leads to destruction but the narrow way leads to salvation i wish somebody was hearing me right now there's a reason why he chose that wood there's a reason why god chose that and why he chose that size you know what he was doing grace you know why he chose the hardest densest wood that he can find so people had time to repent he didn't build some little boat that he can build in a day god said i'm going to give him a space of time i know how long it's going to take noah you just build it i'm letting everybody know as you build every nail i wish somebody every swing of the hammer is another day of grace every day that you don't get it complete is for somebody else to repent of their sins i'm ba i i chose this wood i know it's hard i know it's difficult it's going to take you a long time but i'm telling people i'm giving them i'm giving them grace to get their act together [Music] then he said this noah i want you to pitch it with pitch on the inside and the outside now this right here i think this is the replica that's in east kentucky this is pretty this is not what god's arc looked like it was to be pitched with this gooey tar-like substance on the inside and the outside and the word pitch in the hebrew here means atonement let that sink in just for a second take a pause so that marinates in your spirit god said i want that thing to be covered on the inside with atonement you see atonement means to cover for sin this same word is used 94 times in the old testament and every time it's used it's meant to atone for sins and he tells noah i want the inside pitched with pitch and i want the outside you see atonement will atone the inside of the man and the outside of the man [Applause] don't tell me god does not does not care what it looks like on the outside all he cares about is the inside he said noah i want it a tone on the inside because if it's atoned on the inside it will be atoned on the outside is it going to be pretty no but it's going to keep me saved [Applause] does it always is it going to fit in and be fashionable that's not what he's looking for he's one to know will it keep you saved pitch it within and without what would that what would that tar-like substance do it would keep it from springing a leak there are some things in your life it's causing you to spring a leak on the inside lord you better make sure i'm not here i'm gonna let pastor do all that teaching on standards but let me just tell you something there's some things that we do on the outside that keeps us from springing a leak in our spirit on the inside that doesn't take all that brother nate let me just tell you something if it was necessary to save noah if it was necessary i wish somebody was hearing me right now if it was necessary it needs we need atonement on the inside of man and the outside of man we need to be clean on the inside and we need to be clean on the outside [Applause] someone say amen oh hallelujah and he says this i'm going somewhere and this is the fashion which thou shalt make of it god had a plan and everything was measured out perfectly there wasn't going to be an inch of the ark that god hadn't designed every inch every centimeter god perfectly designed the length was to be 300 cubits the breadth was to be 50 cubits the height was to be 30 cubits using a very conservative figure a cubit noah's day would have been close to 17 and a half inches the modern measurements would be about 438 feet long 73 feet wide and 44 feet high to get an idea of how big this would be the ark would be about one and a half times the size of an american football field taller than a four-story building and the area of the three decks would be close to 96 000 square feet the total volume of the space inside the ark was about 1.4 million cubic feet and could carry about a hundred and twenty-five thousand sheep god was building an ark that could fit as many people in it as possible i want it big enough noah build that thing i want now listen he's not building this in his shed you know it's not a garage project i mean you think about building this thing everybody in the neighborhood is going to see it the hoa is going to have a fit do you have a permit noah no but i got a pattern from god [Applause] i would rather please god than please man i'm going to build it as high as he told me to build i'm going to build as long as he told me to build him and he's going to have three decks on the inside now i taught this in my bible i've taught this my bible class for years i thought this in my bible class about eight years ago maybe not about eight nine years ago i was teaching this in my bible class i talked about the three levels on the inside of the ark and little kami warhol at that time she lifted up her sweet little hand and i knew what i was doing and she didn't know that i knew what i was doing i was talking about that and she said brother nate i said yeah kami she said you say there's three decks on the inside i said yes kami she said and there's one ark i said yes kami she said father son holy ghost one god can i tell you something god knows what he's doing with the plan there might be three decks but there was one ark for you to get in there wasn't three arcs there was one ark god knows what he's doing here's what i want you to do then he says this i want you to put a window at the top of it now this right here this is pretty but it's not really a true replica of what it's supposed to look like but there's just one window at the top one window at the top there was not not to be any windows to the side for a couple of reasons number one there were windows on the sides and there was a flood water could get in and so instead there's just one window at the top the other reason is this because god wants you to look up and not look out he doesn't want you to look out at the destruction and the judgment he wants you to look up to see where your redeemer draws nigh come on some of us need to get off get our eyes off the world and say i'm looking towards the hills where my help comes from i'm not looking out i'm looking up i don't care who the antichrist is i'm looking for the second coming of jesus christ are you hearing me right now get your eyes off of fox news and cnn and twitter and conspiracy theories and get your eyes on glory he's coming back he's coming back don't worry about this world get your head up that's where my help comes from i'm not worried about all that nonsense i ain't got time for all that nonsense stop sending it to me i don't care stop selling it to me my i'm looking up and not out some of y'all would do a lot it would do a lot of good for your faith and your emotional and mental health if you would turn off all this nonsense it's junk it's junk and it's clogging up your spirit i don't remember happening really do you really i don't care i don't care they're souls to win there's there's sermons to be preached i ain't got time for all that get your eyes up stop sending them on facebook i don't care stop sending me tick tock videos i don't care do you hear me those of you watching on the internet listening right now stop sending it to me i don't care i listen i got a whole book right here that i'm trying to study i don't care about some goober on tick tock or facebook talking about who the antichrist is i'm looking for jesus christ and i'm building an ark i'm building an ark i'm building an ark i'm building an ark i'm not building an argument [Applause] we need to be building an ark and not an argument we need to be building an ark and not castles you're not going to win anybody doing that anyway a bunch of nonsense oh brother no you need to calm down well it makes me so mad makes me so mad people are more concerned about that and they want to open up this book you'll spend all day long on the internet watching some um some non-non-holy ghost-filled people filling your brain with nonsense causing you to doubt causing you to fear when you can open up this book and have faith and life and joy and gladness get i'm not sorry i really don't care if you don't like that or not you can text me you can call me you can email me i don't care i want to know are we going to build an ark are we going to build an art not an argument okay brenda okay brenda [Applause] brenda you can sit down for a second thank you all right try to get her i let her go there for a second i'm building an ark not an argument i'm looking up not looking out i'm almost done i promise you i promise you i promise you he said then there should be a door in the side of the ark not three doors not two doors one door jesus said this i am the door buddha is not the door muhammad's knock the door hollywood's not the door entertainment's not the door sports is not the door money's not the door the government's not the door jesus christ is the door and if you're gonna get in the ark you've got to go through jesus christ salvation only comes through the lord jesus christ you cannot get in without him there is no other way and if you try to get in any other way you are a robber and a thief and you will be taken out there's only one way in and that's through jesus there's one way in and that's through jesus now all these animals all these animals started coming about 18 000 species currently living on the earth today this number may have been doubled at the time of noah isn't it a shame that more animals than humans got in the ark even an animal knows when destruction's coming and even an animal knows where to go to be saved noah built an ark he's a righteous man come from a righteous family and he began to build a hundred years from the time that we meet noah until the completion of the ark takes place a hundred years he builds and builds and builds and builds preaching god's judgment is coming but i'm building an ark for us to be saved god's judgment's coming but i'm building an ark to be saying building building building the amazing thing about noah listen to me the amazing thing about noah is that he didn't didn't fail to live this before his family noah only eight people were saying that i'm i'm at the end of the story but this only only eight people are saved noah his wife his three boys and their wives that's it you know by our world's standards we would consider noah's ministry of failure a mega failure i mean all all you got's eight people but you know if a preacher loses his family and wins the world he is a failure i'm going to say it again if a man of preacher wins the world and loses his family he is a failure because the thing that we must do is make sure that what we're preaching here is what we're preaching at our homes we have to live this before our families we have to be faithful when we're building the ark for others and make sure that we come home and tell them that this ark is for them as well we can't now listen to me now i know i'm taking my time and you're all probably ready me to get out of here after talking about what i talked about a second ago but listen we don't need to come here and tell everybody else how to be saved and then go home and tell our children something completely different well that's for them that's not for us and you know that's they want to live that way that's fine well yeah i'll shout over that there but for us we're going to do whatever we want and what you're doing is you're sacrificing your family too many preachers do that they preach this one way well lord jesus help me right now they preach this one way hard mean want everybody else to live it then they go home and let their kids and their family do whatever they want we got to live this in the world and in the home and if the world rejects it that's fine i have to win my family noah didn't have a hammer in his hand and a cigarette in the other he wasn't he didn't have a he didn't have a bible in his hand and jim beam in the other he came home after a long day of building god's ark and shared grace with his family around the dinner table sometimes we're going to have to put down the hammer and pick up our kids there's times to build there's times to labor but there's times to rest and the time to spend with your family and to love them they're oh i wish somebody was hearing me right now this is so important this is so important don't put it's not my notes but don't put ministry above your family don't put work above your family well i'm working for them so they can have no work for them by working with them and serving them [Applause] don't lose your family ashley and the team can start making their way up here make everybody feel better by their name you really got me over there about that facebook stuff good you'll stop texting me about that joke noah noah builds it and i'm sure i'm sure there were people around that helped him build it what are you doing preacher building a boat building a boat uh for what flood what's a flood well it's going to rain what's what's rain just trust me it's going to happen 100 years he's building this and the lord says this come into the ark notice that god does not say go into the ark because when you build god's ark god's already there he says come into the ark seven days seven days they stay in the ark with the door shut and not a drop of rain comes can you imagine those seven those were probably the longest seven days in that 100 years of noah's life god i told my family that we were supposed to come in here and nothing's happening out there and all those people are out there and are thinking why is he doing living inside this gigantic boat seven days and i can just imagine all those people all those years mocking noah oh noah hey man why are you doing it do you have to do all this stuff for your god really none of us have to do that stuff i mean look at us come on noah do you really have to do all does it really take all of that do you really have to dress that way do you really have to go to church three times a week do you really have to do all that praise and worship stuff and holiness stuff and giving stuff does it really take all of that hey noah you're telling us you that your god is gonna come destroy us here we are you say it takes all of that and we're still here all these y hey noah somebody spit on me hey noah hey you're done what is that what's that come from the sky what is that thing over there right there that's that thing i've never seen that before that what did he what did he what that what that what that guy call a cloud oh that doesn't look good oh it started starting to come down hey hey hey noah noah hey hey hey listen i know i made fun of you um a few years ago and i'm really sorry about that but hey i'm starting to this this water stuff's starting to come down noah i know i made fun of you i know i mocked you i know i doubt and i had unbelief and i thought that was a really cool currency to live by but hey noah it's starting to get to our feet here uh water's up to our ankles hey can you stop joking around now we get it we're ready hey no it's it's uh hey uh it's right down to my knees now and i'm trying to get really concerned my little girl is having a hard time uh staying above hey open this door open it up why are you judging me you told me i'd be i didn't listen i'm sorry can you open up the door now peter said in his day they mocked and asked where is the sign of his coming [Music] where is he that was 2 000 years ago beloved we are one day closer now [Music] are you going to get in [Music] while there's time well i'll do it when i'm i'll do when i'm older i can retire that's when i'll give my life to the lord that's when i'll start considering giving all i'm giving my life to getting that boat there but until then i'm going to live it up and have a good time try to make as much money as i possibly can and retire you know have a 401k retirement plan you know just i'll do it then you don't know when the raindrop is going to come [Music] you don't know when the raindrop of judgment is going to drop on your head and the door is closed stand to your feet with me i've taught this for years and if you've heard me preach this before i'm sorry for the repeat but i taught this in a bible study a group of people i had this one this one this one brother i got to i i got to this lesson man he was like he was just ready ready to argue just ready are you he came to me goes are you trying to say are you trying to say if i don't obey god's word just the way you're teaching it that i'm going to be condemned i said i didn't say that the plan says that listen i didn't write i didn't write it did claim it i didn't write that you must believe i didn't write that i didn't write that you must repent of your sins i didn't write that because if man would have wrote that we would have left that out i didn't write that i didn't write that you must be born again of the water and of the spirit jesus christ said that in john chapter number three i didn't write that you must be baptized he that believeth and is baptized shall be i didn't write that i also didn't write that he that believeth not shall be damned i didn't write that i didn't write that you if any man i have the spirit of christ he is none of his i didn't write that it's in the plan and this this this man he would just keep it i mean he just constantly are you saying i gotta do all i gotta do what are you trying to say i gotta do i i said brother listen you're taking it up with the wrong person i i'm just i'm just don't shoot the messenger some of y'all like i'm going to shoot you tonight brother nathan i'm going to shoot you up with text messages and emails tonight hold up don't shoot the message i'm just bri i'm just the ambassador bringing it to you that's all i'm doing and either you want to obey it and believe it or you can reject it [Music] my hands are clean but if you want to reject it you're not you're not going to change my mind i'm going to keep preaching it i just don't understand why people are always looking for a loophole looking for a way around it like like they know better than god he built it it's his plan not mine all know it did was obey it at some point [Music] time is going to run out [Music] we're living in gopher wood years right now we're living in an age of grace that god has given you time while he builds the ark for you to get in will you obey will you listen will you go through the one door that is jesus christ listen listen please listen to me by by us believing that you must believe repent get baptized in the name of jesus christ and receive the baptism of the holy ghost us believing that from the word of god does not negate that we believe that jesus christ gives us salvation freely nowhere in the bible does that mean works someone said well that's works that's works if that's works paul did works peter did works cornelius did works all of the people that you find in the bible did works and guess what if that's what they did what makes us think we're any better what makes us think that i don't have to do that are you ain't nobody going to be nobody and if you're going to be a somebody i'm just going i'm just calling back today's sermon if you're going to be a somebody you're going to have to do it just like everybody else did in this book and everybody in this book was born again of the water and of the spirits every one of them [Music] please listen to me i'm closing they're going to start singing but don't delay don't delay the door to salvation is open it is for whosoever will it is for all who might believe i want you to lift up your hands right now maybe somebody you're just like i i'm doing it brother i'm trying to do everything i can let me preach a word of encouragement to stay faithful to keep to keep keep building keep building keep building maybe even you've yet to repent of your sins all you have to do is say lord forgive me of my sins lord he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins uh he he's faithful he's faithful to to cleanse you from all and righteousness whether it be somebody he said i gotta get ready i gotta get ready tonight maybe you've never been baptized in the name of jesus christ that's the only way to be baptized is to take on the only name given among men whereby we must be saved if you'd never see the baptism of the holy ghost he will give you his spirit tonight he will give you his spirit all you have to do is repent and believe and he will give you his spirit i wonder if somebody would leave the confines of their cdp right now and make their way to an altar and say i'm ready i want to be ready lord help me to stay ready let me obey the word of god by faith lord let me stay faithful to the word of god
