My Testimony | Rev. Nick Mahaney

he alone is worthy I come to tell you today there's none like him there's none beside him come on he's the first and he's the last he is our healer he is our kinsman redeemer come on he's the Sheepfold the door to the Sheepfold he's the lamb that was slain before the foundation of the world I call his name Jesus and I come to tell you that he was more than just a man come on he was more than just a man hallelujah what an honor it is to be here I my father passed away in 2007 on a Sunday morning and I preached my first sermon that night I was 42 years old I'd let a life of drugs and alcohol and crime and jails and and I was at such a pivotal time in my life trying to preach and I'm still just trying to preach I'll tell you I'm like a doctor I just practice medicine and I was at a place that was trying to get away from the things that I'd known as a child and I was online and I seen this fac TV and I turned it on and brother Carpenter was preaching in this church for the next year and a half I can't tell you the things that he preached it seemed like it was going right to me now I'm not a whole lot right now I understand that but for that year and a half you molded me you spoke to my life when I didn't have I I didn't know what I was going to be doing and I thank this church listen I've been blessed I've preached General Conference and camps and all that FR fruit stuff I'd rather go to a jail or a prison to be honest with you they know they need God give me a drug addict and some Apostolic that doesn't want to be moved the thinks they're holier than now but if there was ever any place I ever wanted to preach it was here and I'm not you know most evangelists they give you so many cards you know I've never asked anybody hey I think I need to come preach at your church and I believe that God will tell the man of God when it's time for me to preach all right so this day is ordained by God now I was going to give my testimony you can go to YouTube you can watch it on YouTube everybody else does but the Lord sent me here in the name of Jesus I'm going to speak against the spirit of heaviness right now you don't understand what you're walking through but I come to tell you right now God's about to lift it you're going to physically feel it come on you're going to physically feel it lift off your shoulders like a weight here in just a little bit I'm not a prophet I don't I barely make a prophet but I'm going to tell you right now that in the name of Jesus I come to speak life into this church like it hasn't felt in years I can't even read my own mail so you don't have to worry about that I'm not going to don't tell you what color your wallet is or none of that stuff but I come to tell you that this is ordained by God today that he's going to move in this place in the Supernatural like we've been wanting like I need like you need now if you'll all stand just one more time thank you for having me and we'll see how it goes all right I'm going to be reading from Matthew 1 and 24 I tried to text that to them I hope they got it CU it all changed it says then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him and took unto him his wife and knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son and he called his name name Jesus now I'm going to speak just for a little bit about speaking his name I've been in a battle with cancer this year and when I started back preaching I was off for a long time the Lord put this in my spirit and he told me you're going to preach this at several places because I'm going to use what you've went through to help lift off a spirit of heaviness now I want to preach just for a little while on about speaking his name and I want you to lift your hands with me right now come on by the authority of the word of God and by the power that's in the name Jesus Christ Lord you give us the power to loose I'm loosing you right now into this place Lord I loose the gifts of the Spirit to begin to operate in each and every one of us right now Lord I lose the gift of healing right now Supernatural things that will happen Lord I come against a burden I come against sin I come against demonic forces because you also gave me the power to bind I bind every Spirit that's not of you right now in the name of Jesus I come against deceitfulness and pride and arrogance in the name of Jesus Lord I Lose You Now to control everything that's about to happen it's not about me God it's all about you let me decrease so you can increase come on church I feel the presence of angelic host right now they have moved into this place come on they've lined the walls they've lined this platform in the name of Jesus God touch my mind touch my voice and touch my body in Jesus name you may be seated it's a cool night in the Judean desert and there's a man that's probably got a rope I don't know in his hand he's he's leading a donkey anybody have a donkey this is Tennessee just checking and on that donkey is a wife and she's 9 months pregnant can you ladies imagine that one no Tahoe come on no Kia not even a Yugo not even a pinto some of you older people remember the pinto the driving firebomb boom and they're on their way to their place of their lineage because Augustus Caesar is kin to all of our folks and and the White House and Congress and whatever they decide they need to tax the whole world the whole world so they have to go to their place of lineage to register and their place of lineage is Bethlehem now while they are there Mary gives birth to her baby not just any baby but this was the Messiah this was the one who had been foretold this was the one that had been prophesied about all through the scriptures Luke 2:7 says and she brought forth her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a Manger because there was no room for them in the end and there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field keeping watch over their flock by night and lo the angel of the Lord Came Upon them and the glory of the Lord show shown round about them and they were sore afraid and the angel said unto them fear not for behold I bring you good tidings of great joy which shall be to all people for unto you is Born This Day in the city of David a savior which is Christ the lord and this shall be a sign unto you you shall find the Babe wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a manger and suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the Heavenly Host praising God and saying glory to God in the highest and on Earth peace Good Will toward Men been a great Christmas message wouldn't it nobody likes evangelist during Christmas just going to let you know and it came to pass as the Angels were gone away from them in heaven the Shepherds said one to another let us now go even unto Bethlehem and see this thing which has come to pass which the Lord hath made known unto us and they came with haste and found Mary and Joseph and the Babe lying in a Manger now later wise men would worship him they come to bring him gifts he was the King of Kings he was the Lord of lords just like Isaiah had prophesied the Mighty God come on the Everlasting father I want you to know that Jesus is the father come on the Everlasting father and the Prince of Peace come on he's my savior come on he he reached down into a drug rehab and he pulled out a man that was 38 years old facing 40 to life in prison he turned my life around come on he set my feet on Solid Ground he's more than just a man he's my healer come on he's my savior he's everything to me you can try to Discount him but I love him I give give him everything that I have I rejoice in him now after eight days it's custom for the circumcision to go to the temple and this is one of the only places you read where Joseph speaks and this is where Joseph is it's up to him to name the child but he has already had a dream in Matthew 1:20 it says but while he thought on these things behold the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream saying Joseph thou son of David fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost and she shall bring forth a son and thou shalt call his name Jesus for he shall save his people from their sins now all this was done that it might be fulfilled which is spoken of the Lord by the prophet saying Behold a virgin shall be with child and shall bring forth a son and they shall call his name Emmanuel which being interpreted is God With Us come on I come to tell you there's some in Apostolic ranks that's trying to say that Jesus isn't God yet that he was just the man Christ Jesus I come to tell you that's heres see Jesus Is God With Us Thomas said my Lord and my God come on you've got to understand who he is if you want to go further in your life you got to realize that Jesus is God he is God alone he doesn't need any help here oh Israel the Lord our God is one Lord Thou shalt have no other gods before Meer pre it now it's up to Joseph to name this baby he's not even the natural father of this baby and Joseph is the lineage of David and in his lineage there's 42 generations of names but he was willing to do whatever God asked of him you know why because there's a power in doing what God asked of us yeah Mary was just a young girl when she was asked to have Jesus she was engaged but not married yet and one of the most shameful things in her day was to be with child and not married everyone including her family and her neighbors would look down on her every place she went people would be talking about her the ridicule and the shame would be almost more than she could bear and I want you to understand one thing it wasn't going to be any easier on Joseph his friends and family knew his future wife was now pregnant and they haven't even had a wedding yet and Society wasn't like it is today unfortunately in that time women were already looked down upon now one who was pregnant before marriage even more so the law said Joseph could put her away privately for the rest of her life or he could kill her if any two people ever had a reason to skip Sunday night church if any two people ever had a reason to not to come to midweek Bible study I remember Co when they shut us all down if any two people ever had a reason to say I'll just watch online today sorry I'm not going to meddle yeah I am okay I remember covid fact I remember it like three times now and when they shut us down all we had was to watch online remember and I preached maybe I think twice during covid in my sweatpants and my suit jacket I wish we'd go to that I'm just going to tell y'all right now fat people love sweatpants come on do I got any amens in here I got my old sweatpants and I got my good ones my old ones I go to you know Golden Corral my good ones I go to the Mexican restaurant and I remember sitting in my recliner well I guess I'll go to church today and I click on somebody's service and they're going to count me as one of the two million likes or whatever they call it I'm there for about five minutes bye I'm not going here and I went to another church well look at those folks I ain't watching this mess I go to another one he's preaching my sermon he ain't never heard me in his life and before the hour's up I've done been to six churches come on God wants us to come together forsake not the assembling together of one another even more so as that day approaches you know why because we're to come to church and exhort one another come on we're come to church and lift each other up come on we're to come to church and say you got this brother I got you come on you're not heavy you're my brother how you going to make it sting it home come on you need to come and get into the presence of God there's something about being in the Tabernacle where the glory of God falls on the place and you can't stand in his presence now I know I can't believe they asked me to preach conferences myself the angel had visited Joseph in a dream now I I'm just going to tell you he may be the most important man in the Bible we don't know much of what he who he was we know he was a carpenter but that really translate into like a Stone Mason we don't know when he was born we don't know when he died but he may be the most important person in the whole Bible because he stands there and he has his child in his hands and the only place in the word of God I could find that Joseph speaks is in Matthew 1 and 25 you know what he says and I will call his name his name Jesus and when he said Jesus all the universe stopped right then every angel in heaven begin to bow down come on every demon in earth begin to shake because finally for the first time the name of God had been spoken they had been waiting on eons and centuries of time to hear the name of God and this Carpenter lifts up this baby and says I will call call his name Jesus come on there's nothing like the name of Jesus when he spoke that name everything be to burst into existence when he said that name that that Carpenter that Brick Mason started laying the foundation for our Salvation because there is no other name given among men whereby we must be saved come on that's why we baptize in that name we don't baptize in the father Son and the Holy Ghost because they are all just the name of Jesus when he spoke that name that brick layer was laying the foundation for our healing it's the day after the day of Pentecost can you imagine how fired up they are NYC camp meeting conference yeah all rolled up into one man they are headed they ready to go to the temple and they head to the temple and there's a lame man there lame from the moment he was first born now now I don't understand this how many times did Jesus walk by that lame man you ever thought about that and he never healed him because there was a special day for him see I believe Jesus has a special day for somebody in this place you don't understand why you haven't been healed yet cuz it's today oh I've been to the altar I haven't been delivered yet you know why because it's today come on you're about to step out in faith and you're going to realize that today is your day now they must have been evangelists because they looked at him and said Silver and Gold Have we none we had somebody breaking our house we mugged them brother Johnstone you're at the wrong WR place jack give me your shoes you can go barefoot but he says such as we have come on the world wants what you have come on let's quit putting our light under a a a a basket come on the world wants to be healed the world wants to feel what you feel every time that choir gets up there to sing come on such as I have give I Thee in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth come on rise up and walk come on you better realize who you are time is running out on us you're not just like everybody else but you're a one God Apostolic Jesus name tongue talking holy rolling faith believing cuz things happen when we begin to speak the name of Jesus now I was raised on the Evangelistic field back in the 70s when everybody was poor where he barely made it from one Revival to the next and my dad I don't know some of you may have heard of him Charles mahaney was a certified lunatic he was nuts and I mean we'd be driving to a place to have Revival we had to travel in one of those you know wooden panel station wagons I got in trouble for doing stuff in the back seat all the time at people ain't going to tell you what all it was and we'd be driving through a town not even the town we're going to preach at and my dad pull over my mom would get her accordion my dad would get his guitar and they just have a Street Revival they didn't know the pastor in the town but we was the kids that did all the singing they'd get up I'd sing my dad would preach and we'd get in the car and leave you know back in the 70s every restaurant had a jukebox we'd walk into that restaurant they'd be playing you're cheating hard my dad would pull the plug hard and he'd walk and stand in front of the Juke Box my dad's motto was if you're going to make a scene always be seen and he'd go ladies and gentlemen I'm evangelist Charles mahany I'm preaching a Revival here in town my son Nick is going to sing and I'm going to testify sing boy now back then when your dad said sing you better sing my dad would take you on a wailing Expedition and he was about that tall and about that wide he'd pull that belt off and it'd be and you're thinking dear God we was at knb Farm back when you know UPC nobody was supposed to go to them places but we always did you know and we was watching this show at knb Farm I was probably 13 14 and they said we're going to have a 10-minute intermission we'll be right back and I look and my dad comes walking down the aisle brother Carpenter I said God please I'll go to Africa I'll go to Russia China put me on the boat right now to China please don't let me make that man make me sing ladies and gentlemen I'm evangelist Charles mahaney they thought it was part of the show my son Nick's going to sing guess what I sang so I was raised up on people people of faith when I tell you I've seen my dad pray for somebody that was born blind they was 50 years old they never had the things in their eyes to be able to see God create everything in their head and they can see so I've Seen It All I've seen all the things that you could think of but I never fell in love with him for myself come on you've got to fall in love with Jesus you've got to fall in love with him so from the time I was 18 Till I was 38 39 I was an IV drug user and I did horrible things I worshiped the devil I was into witchcraft I'm not going to get into all that right now and I was not a man that you consider a good man I was very evil and I used to be a car salesman hope none of y'all get our car salesman I couldn't sell cars and live for God you might can just saying it's different for everybody we got this thing in Arkansas at War Memorial Stadium they used to have it that's where the Razer backs would play or attempt to play anybody looking for a coach I wish they'd hire ours I'm not real proud of being a Razorback fan anymore but they would bring all the car dealers in the state and they would set up on the parking lot of War Memorial Stadium it's called car wars and they would have all the lenders set up trailers and thousands of people would come and we would sell cars for three and a half days and I was on my way to Car Wars and I've always L motorcycles anybody like motorcycles I got one right now my wife won't let me ride till the kids are all in college it looks good though I don't have no ring get your motor running no sorry and I had on my I had a polo shirt on and some shorts and I did a big old shot of dope on my way to work and I was flying down this road trying to get to work any of y'all ever talk to yourself oh come on I just said we're in Tennessee I talk to myself I even talk back some of my most intelligent conversations come with me amen I'm flying down that road on my motorcycle and here's what I say to myself Nick yes right around that curve is the popo and you better slow down because you got all kinds of stuff in your saddle bags that he's going to like pulling you over for and I look down at my speedometer just for that instance and when I did there was a deer I looked down and I was doing 60 M an hour and I looked up and there was a deer I hit that deer and cut it in half and I knocked a baby out of it killed both of them what about me y'all worried about that deer and when I hit the ground I hit it in like a baseball slide and I was sliding and my body was trying to Tumble and the only way I could keep myself from tumbling was to hold my hands down and it was just eating my hands up when I looked down and seen I was doing 60 and I looked up and seen that deer something happened that hadn't happened in years I said Jesus I didn't know where that came from I hadn't called on the name of Jesus but the curse in years and I hit that ground sliding and my body's trying to roll and I knew if I started rolling I'm I'm done and uh my head hits the asphalt and I didn't have a helmet on and when my head hit that as asphalt a voice said hold your head up you don't have a helmet on and it's almost over and when that when I heard that voice I snapped my head up and I slid about from the me to that sound booth and I something stood me up I was standing there with blood pouring out everywhere my clothes had basically been ripped off of me my collar bone was sticking straight up blood was pouring out of every my head my arms somebody said jump in and I dove in the car and they rushed me up to this emergency room right up the road when the mail nurse came out he looked and I I can vividly remember him going oh God and he picks me up and he puts me on a gurnie and rushes me into the hospital they take me to this room and I give honor to every medical person in this place I don't know how you do it after all the things I've been through this year I give you honor there you are special people they took this floor brush looking thing and begin to scrub all my wounds woo getting all the gravel out and they put me in this tube I don't know if I guess they were going to try to find a brain I don't know and when they put me in this tube I seen this spider come down towards my face now I'm going to tell y'all I hate spiders dentist and spiders I I hate them if a spider gave me a root canal I'd have a heart attack I don't like them I don't want them around me and I begin to scream get me out of this thing right now there's a spider on my face that poor nerd she got in there cleaned everything and about the third time seen the spider she realized I was very high and I got stuck in there whether I wanted it or not well they begin to tell me come around the doctors and there's stuff that they were saying things like this we've never seen a man hit a deer on a motorcycle without a helmet that lived we don't understand why you're alive well that was really Captain bring down if you ask me and they went to cut off they wanted to cut cut off my left foot cuz my ankle was about that big around and I told him I'm leaving they finally let me go sent me with all kinds of medication because of infection and I was laying on my back I looked like a mommy I was wrapped up and I hadn't seen my dad in a while and he' heard about my accident he come by now y'all have to understand my dad is the least tactful person that ever lived on planet Earth he would call out everything I mean he looked at me goes my God you look like a mommy bet that hurts I've never seen anybody's foot look that big I'm like Dad man I don't need to hear all this encouragement he started to leave and I said dad I don't understand something he said what now I didn't tell him and I screamed out Jesus I said as I was sliding down that road I hit my head and a voice screamed in my ear hold your head up it's almost over you don't have a helmet on right I said I don't know what it was my dad stops and he looks at me and he said if you'll pray God show you in a dream tonight well that just ticked me off you know always trying to preach at me when he walked out I laid there for about 10 minutes and I said all right Lord I don't even know if you remember me my name's Nick mahaney I don't know what happened to me today my dad says you'll show me and if he says it I believe it and I went to sleep and I want you to understand God speaks to me in dreams ever since I've been a small boy he I had some dreams last night I'm going to have to pray about because he always speaks to me in dreams and most of them come to pass and I fell asleep and it was one of them dream dreams like I was there wind blowing in my hair I heard myself say Nick you better slow down there's a cop going to be right up the road and I remember looking down in my dream and I seen that my spedometer and I was doing 60 and when I looked up there was that deer and I watched myself go Jesus and I hit the ground sliding and when I hit the ground there was a big angel had had his hands underneath me brother Carpenter and he was guiding me and I watched in my dream as my head hit the asphalt blood flew out of my head and that angel hold your head up you don't have a helmet on it's almost over listen I was not where I should be with God matter of fact I use the name of God so much in curse words that I made it a point to because I knew I told everybody I know where I'm going going you're fooling yourself we're all going to hell if you don't go and live for God and I knew where I was going and I refused to bow my knees because of pride and arrogance on my part come on I told a brother down here a while ago I'm cast out Satan himself but I can't do nothing with somebody whose flesh is telling them oh you don't have to listen you can do it your own way they don't know what they're talking about I'll do it my way and I wasn't where I should be with him worshiping the devil I used to read people's cards I could read people's mail through evil but when I called that name that name he didn't care anymore what I was doing come on the moment that I said the name of Jesus he was there he was my present help in my time of trouble come on I wasn't even going to church I didn't sing Church songs I didn't know church people but when I called his name he was there in a moment can I tell you all you got to do today he don't care what you did last night he don't care what you did this morning he just want you to call on his name because when you call on that name things begin to happen when you call on that name in March of this year hope this is all right in March of this year see I normally preach like close to 200 times a year I preach people call me we'll preach all week I don't care and I just closed out a Revival in Texas where I'd preach Tuesday through Friday at one Church Saturday and Sunday afternoon at another church and then Sunday morning and Sunday night at the first church I was preaching it so I was preaching almost every night which I thrive on when I was out in the world I didn't get just drunk on Sunday and Wednesday I'm not going to give God less than I gave the devil I got very ill and I barely made it home I also got an RV that I when I'm going to be gone a while I'll just I pull it and I barely got it home on Monday by Tuesday my wife's a teacher at uh a Christian School brother Melton's Church in North L Rock she teaches four year olds she got 13 of them I told Brother Carpenter I I'd rather go to jail for the week Lord help her and she puts up with me strong woman she by the time she came in my bladder had shut down and I was in excruciating pain when I tell you pain so bad that my muscles were sore for a week after I got through some of this stuff from clinching up in pain so they got we ran to the emergency room they did some scans on me and my bladder was at 1.8 L the doctor told me it would have exploded at 2 and they finally got relieved me of all that and we were sitting in that I was laying in the bed and the doctor came in sat down on the stool and looked at us and said I'm not 100% sure but the radiologist says he's 100 100% sure that you got a mass in your bladder and they're going to have to do something about it so I'm not telling this for everybody to feel sorry for I'm going to tell you what God here's what did all that to get to hear you know how that is sometimes don't you he said uh urologist is like three and a half four weeks out and they sent me home and I was very sick I mean I've never been sick at all my life so I'm standing outside I was supposed to be in bed but I'm just one of them hard-headed people and I'm standing outside and my neighbor who I'm going to win to God matter of fact he's a retired police officer the first time I met him he said hi my name's Greg Garrison what's yours I'm a retired police officer I said Nick Papadopoulos sorry old habits die heart still can't believe I did yeah I can believe it he goes man what's going on cuz I had attachments to me and I don't want to get into all of it and uh I said man they say I got cancer and it's going to be almost a month before they can get me into a urologist he doesn't use the best language y'all and he said well I don't think so my wife works for urologist see how God is she works for the best urologist in our whole state and she came down that afternoon and said uh you need to be there tomorrow thank you Jesus so long story I go there they do all the scans all the test horrible stuff to your body and they tell me that they're going to have to go in and remove this tumor and it's a size about this big about the size of a hamburger patty and I'm a hypochondriac so this is killing me anyway begin to pray people all around Apostolic churches begin to pray I had people calling me giving me words I had some that some people that you know they call you out them kind of people I called them and they would just barely they kind of more or less hung up on me hey you ain't got a word for me oh no hold on man my dog's crying let me I'll be right back anyway so we went in we did the surgery and I went home and they had so many complications on my surgery you know I I'm not a good patient I woke up in the hospital I said I thought I wasn't staying here and I I got to stay there for a while and I finally get home and I'm sitting in my chair where I sit every morning and I drink my coffee and I pray but now I'm sitting in my chair and I don't even feel like I know how to pray anymore you see I'd heard people say I need you to pray for me anxiety and depression I'm really fighting it and I'm like okay I'll pray for you and I'm thinking they just need a good praying through that is so wrong and I'm telling you and I hope every there's a lot of preachers that listen to this church you better listen to me you better quit doing this mean preaching come on God didn't call us to get up and crucify people I'm sick of people and getting up when you can't live for God good enough for them right right come on and they're supposed to be the messengers of God come on all they do is crucify and tell you that you're doing wrong if you don't do it like this you're going to go to hell when I can't find it right here in the word of God and I sat there and fear and depression grabbed me like I've never had it grab and listen I'm not a depressed guy I my wife gets mad at me because I don't say red light go to the green light I'm one of the most positive people I get up every morning at about 6: 6:15 and I don't get up like I get up woo I'm singing ain't no telling what song it's going to be gospel but there ain't no telling what I'm going to get up singing and everybody's going shut up so me and the dogs we go out and walk man I'm like Hallelujah woo and and depression bear hugging me I didn't even want to pray oh you're an evangelist you shouldn't be up saying stuff I'm telling you I'm being transparent because God's about to lift some things is after about a month the doctor said and I'm just going to tell you you need to be a witness everywhere you go you know what my doctor calls me he calls me brother mahaney because I witnessed the whole time in there I just had a scan the other day and I looked at him I said I don't know why this is happening because I pray for people all the time they put you out of business Doc and my doctor says won't you go to church they pulled out all the stuff that I had put in me where kept me in Mobile a lot and I was very excited I hadn't been to church in almost a month my wife and my family went and they were going to come back and pick me up for the 11:00 service suit on and I got dressed and I was so weak my legs were doing this and I made it to my chair and I sat down and tears are running down my face and I said I can't do this God why the Lord came to 305 Sandy Creek Drive Ward Arkansas that morning he walked up to me he began to minister to me he let me know that when he was in that boat and the waves had ripped the sails off that boat and that the boat was rocking water was coming into the boat about to sink it the Lord said I never lifted my head off the pillow one time during all that Calamity he he said but what made me wake up was when one of my people said master I lifted my head off the pillow the wind didn't wake me the waves never woke me come on the sinking of the ship never woke me but when some Saint said master I lifted my head off of that pillow and he said if you'll just call on me right now I'm here for you you know what he said here's what he told me he said I stood up and I said peace be still now listen I've read this a hundred times at least and the Lord said I wasn't speaking peace to the storm I created the storm I've created every storm that ever came into existence I tell it when to start and I tell it when to end I was speaking peace to my people come on you look at that scripture it says peace comma be still come on I don't have a lot of education but I know that a comma is a pause going from one subject to the other subject come on I come to tell somebody I know your boat's been rocking come on I know your sails have been ripped apart come on I know you don't understand come on brother I know where you've been walking through but God is going to step into to your boat God is going to say peace be still he's just waiting on you come on he's just waiting on you to call his name come on he's just waiting on you to call Master Jesus I Need You I go back to the doctor Halloween guess what oh yeah they found another spot wouldn't like this last time I looked at him and I said let's get it over with I don't know they may call
