can we give that hand clap to the lord this this morning he is so worthy in this place and while you're at him can we lift our hands and let's thank god for what we feel today as pastor mentioned earlier there's a spirit of victory in this house and i i would echo the same words of pastor this morning i believe something good is going to happen today can we lift our voice in this place god we thank you god for what we feel lord as the praises went up lord god your glory came down in this house lord god and we are thankful today now let's clap our hands in this place jesus we love you and god we thank you lord thank you jesus thank you lord in jesus name it's such an honor to stand before you great people uh this morning if you could tell by my voice a little bit we i heard it said at marriage retreat we had some intense fellowship this week with our basketball tournament so if you'll please excuse my raspy voice this morning but um it's such an honor to stand before the greatest group of people in all the world and i truly do mean that and uh this this pulpit is such a coveted place for preachers all across our fellowship and our movement because they want to preach to good people and uh so to be in this place this morning it's such an honor i give honor to pastor and first lady and all the great things they have done and will continue to do give them honor and i give honor to my wife she is upstairs in kids quest she'll be down here and uh shortly and she started the service up there and she'll be down here in just a few moments if you turn your bibles with me to genesis 1 and 26 genesis 1 and 26 it says and god said let us make man in our image after our likeness and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air and over the cattle and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth so god created man in his own image as in the image of god created he him male and female created he them and god blessed them and god said unto them be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth and subdue it can someone say subdue it and have dominion can someone say dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth as pastor said earlier there is a spirit of victory in this place and of course so we know that god ordains everything perfectly everything that god everything in god's will happens and there's no accidents in god's will but i want to preach for just a few short moments on a declaration of faith entitled dominion belongs to god's people dominion belongs to god's people god didn't intend for his people to lose a battle but god intended his people to have victory and to have dominion over things that we face if you believe that would you stretch your hands toward heaven and let's ask god to invade this place today god we thank you for what we felt god we thank you for being in this house god we thank you for god already pouring out your spirit in this place but god it would be your will for someone to receive the gift of the holy ghost this morning god it would be your will for dominion to be shifted back to the people to your people today that is your perfect will for this service and god we ask that you would anoint me lord god i know your word is already anointed god i don't want to add anything to or take anything away but god i want to preach your word that we can stand upon the authority of the word of god and we do everything in the name of jesus can someone say in jesus name now can we clap our hands in this place lord we thank you lord we love you jesus in jesus name you may you may be seated i love studying about the garden of eden there's many different things about the garden of eden that i find just super super interesting and one of the reasons that i love to to study and i love to preach about the garden of eden is because that is a place of perfection that is a place that is unadulterated by sin before the fall of man it was god's perfect plan for male and god's perfect plan for female it was it was a place of absolute beauty a place of absolute perfection and we can study throughout creation that we know that god creates everything perfect god created everything perfect and in his perfect will we can study through the the days of creation that god would create this void on day number one god would create this void he he would divide and throughout the first two first and second and third day he would create things as such as the sea he would create the sky but if god's perfect will would take place through creation then god cr didn't create something for it to be empty god created everything to be filled with something he didn't create the sky for the sky to be empty he did not create the sea for the sea to be empty he didn't create the beautiful trees that we enjoy when the leaves change here in the smoky mountains he didn't create those trees for it to be empty but he created everything for it to be filled with something that's god's perfect will for his creation and just like he didn't create an ocean for it to not be filled with fish and just like he did not create trees for it to not be filled with birds god did not create man for it not to be filled with the spirit of god god's perfect plan for your life god's perfect will for your life is to be filled with the holy ghost from on high that's what god's perfect plan is for man we know that in the beginning god said let us make man in our image after our likeness after our likeness and let them have dominion over the things that were created god would give them clear instructions be fruitful and multiply replenish the earth subdue it and have dominion subdue means to to subject or to subdue to force to keep under to dominate or to tread down dominion means to to rule over to dominate or to have power over god's perfect plan for man god's perfect plan for woman would be to to produce with their fruitfulness with their multiplication and their replenishing and they were to have dominion over it they were to rule over and to have power over and it's interesting to me that the world tries to twist this thing into an ugly thing of about a man being the head of his house and and the woman being a protector of her home and and the world will try to remove them from their god-ordained place the cultures tries to say that the man isn't supposed to be the head of the home in today's world but if we if we lose spiritual dominion if we follow that logic we will lose what god has given to his people if we follow that kind of logic because spiritual order is what brings spiritual dominion spiritual order is what brings spiritual dominion but god has ordained some people here this morning and i believe it is god's perfect will that you're here this morning you're not here by accident because the word of the lord for someone today is is that some of the things that the devil has took away from your life and some attacks from the adversary that has plagued god's people it's god's will for his people to have dominion that's god's perfect plan for your life if god could create adam and eve with dominion over those things there's a group of people here this morning that god has created you to have dominion over the things of your life some attacks against your family you have dominion over that this morning amen the reason that we are designed for dominion is because we are different than every other creature that god created we are different than every other creature and we know that has to do a little bit with our our our our free will like we can make our own decisions but genesis 1 and 26 tells us that we are created in the image of god we are created in the image of god and right after this statement the bible declares that man would have dominion after we are after man was created in the image of god we are to have dominion we must first realize that spiritual dominion comes when we recognize our identity spiritual dominion comes when we recognize our identity genesis 2 and 7 says and the lord god formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul we were formed from the dust of the earth and and then god saw fit to make man unique god saw man to god saw it fit to make man unique when he gave us a little bit of heaven inside of us when he breathed the breath of life into us the first step to dominion is realizing that you are not ordinary the first step to dominion is realizing that you are not ordinary but in fact what makes you special is that god created you with a little bit of earth and a little bit of heaven that's what makes you unique is you have a little bit of heaven inside of you you're not just some ordinary person you're not just some ordinary parent you're not just some ordinary being that you're just living a so-called life but you are made in the image of god god breathed the breath into life into man we are made from the dust of the ground and we were made from the breath of life from god god breathed into us so don't let the world tell you that you're ordinary but you're special in the eyes of god god saw it fit that he would breathe into you and that he would give you purpose and that he would give you dominion in your life matter of fact what makes us special even more is that we are the visible representation of the invisible god to our families that's why it's so important that you bring your families to church it's so important that you bring your families to church because when you're in the home and and when you're in the home and you're just going about with your family fathers you are the invisible represent you're the visible representation of the visible god to invisible god to your family the culture is trying to remove the father from the home the culture is trying to remove a father from his rightful place of dominion but that's a lie from the pits of hell you are the visible representation of to your family of the invisible god that's why men we've got to be in our homes we got to stand like joshua and say as for me in my house we are going to serve the lord what is that statement that's a statement of dominion that's a declaration that my family is going to serve the lord i'm gonna stand with my shoulders back it doesn't matter what hell throws at me it doesn't matter what satan throws at me we have dominion over our family in jesus name you may be seated at psalms 8 and 4 says what is man that thou art mindful of him it says what what is so special the psalmist declares what is man that thou art so what makes man so special that you are mindful of him and the son of man that thou even visiteth him for thou has made him a little lower than the angels and has crowned him with glory and honor now made us him to have dominion over the works of thy hands and thou has put all things everybody say all things all things under his feet and this is i know this is speaking about the messiah but when you receive the gift to the holy ghost the same spirit that was in christ jesus is now in you this scripture can be applied to you what makes you so special what makes you special is you've got a little bit of heaven inside of you with the spirit of the almighty god that's what happened on the day of pentecost when that same wind began to blow on pentecost it was the same breath that god breathed into the man in the beginning that's what makes it special it wasn't just some ordinary day in pentecost but it was a day that that same breath that was breathed into adam in that same breath was breathed into the church on the day of pentecost hallelujah and we know the story and the fall of man and but i'm so thankful that even though there's consequences to sin god still has hope for man and god still has hope for a woman i i i want to tell somebody it doesn't matter how far you've went away from god it doesn't matter if this is your first sunday in five or six years i want to tell you there's hope for you that you haven't gone too far because there's a little bit of heaven in this room and you can take it home with you today i know you feel purposeless because you're just made from the ground but if you would take the breath of heaven today with you and you would receive the gift oh my lord if you would receive the gift of the holy ghost you can take heaven home with you if you're if your home is a wreck today if you take heaven home with you today things will begin to come in order because it's spiritual dominion that's what comes when god breathes into your life what is man that they weren't mindful of him so thankful even there even though there's consequence to sin and we saw that with the garden of eden that they were expelled from the guard in a place of perfection the place of god's will they were expelled from i'm thankful that god gives some hope genesis 3 and 15 says and i will put enmity between thee and the woman and between thy seed and her seed it shall bruise thy head but it wouldn't come without some pain and some sacrifice of that thing that is being prophesied and being spoke of by god it's going to come with satan being able to bruise his heel this is the hope after man fell into sin that there was one coming through the seed of a woman that is going to bruise the head of satan and give and give dominion back to his people back to his people that's what god's original plan was for dominion to belong to his people and so when sin came we lost our dominion our our rightful god-given dominion we lost it and we lost that dominion but god said there's some hope something's going to come through the seat of a woman something someone is going to come through the womb of a woman and it's going to bruise the head of satan you might be saying well why is that important to us that one's coming that's going to bruise the head of satan i want to tell you when you receive the gift of the holy ghost when god pours the spirit of god in your life this scripture in romans 16 20 is for you and the god of peace shall brew satan under your feet it started in the beginning after the fall that that jesus christ it was prophesied and foretold that he was going to have satan under his feet to bruise the head but it doesn't stop there after pentecost it goes from god having dominion over his feet to god giving you dominion under your feet and i like the last little a word in that sentence it doesn't say it's not going to happen for a while but it's going to happen here shortly it's going to happen here shortly i've come to encourage someone today that you can leave with dominion in your life here today not a week from now not a month from now not a season after you get done with this season no no no if we believe god's word we can believe that we can leave here today with dominion under your feet that's because i've come to encourage someone today whatever you're facing you can take dominion this morning you can have it under your feet no wonder it says you are above and not beneath you are the head and not the tail god is giving us the victory and dominion under our feet but the way and i mean keep going back to it the way we have dominion the way we have dominion is we have to have god's perfect will in our life we have to have the breath of life by the spirit of god inside of us there's no dominion there's no dominion what what do you do when hell fights your home you're hopeless without the spirit of god you're hopeless there's no way you can attack for we wrestle wrestle not against flesh and blood and but we wrestle against principalities how do you fight principalities if you don't have heaven inside of you you're just an ordinary person if you don't have heaven inside of you you're just an ordinary person you just clock in and clock out you might live 75 years with no purpose but when you receive the gift of the holy ghost that's god's purpose for your life that's god's perfect will for your life someone hear me this morning you feel empty you feel you feel like what's the point of my life i'm gonna tell you what the point of your life is is to receive the gift of the holy ghost that's what gives you dominion and that's when god gives things under your feet under your feet under your feet not your neighbors don't say hey my neighbor got a blessing today that person over there got touched today you can really see it on sister so and so today i'm not preaching anybody but you today that dominion can be under your feet and it can happen here short shortly if you let it dominion belongs to god's people amen amen you may be seated adam had responsibilities in the garden adam and eve had responsibilities even though it was a a place of perfection it was god's will for man to work his three jobs in the garden were to to keep the garden to dress the garden and to name things in the garden we show dominion in these three job responsibilities to dress the garden means to cultivate or work for the garden adam and eve had dominion over everything in the garden and exercised it through work he showed adam showed how he was to to dress the garden through his servant leadership this wasn't a thing that adam thought he was so high and mighty that he had dominion with his chest stuck out and his his his head held back and if it came a rain in the garden his nose was so high he would drown it wasn't like that but he showed his dominion through servant leadership that's what god's perfect will for him was this is what we men must be to our families some think that they own and they own their families they they think that they own their wives and own their children but we understand that god has entrusted us with something that we could show through spiritual dominion and we can exercise it through servant it's funny to me that when when when men want to get some scriptures and it's not any men here we have great men in this church but if you go and you go throughout the world one of the the most popular scriptures with men in the world when they come to pastor carpenter they'll say hey what's that scripture say about how the wife has to submit to me you know he said hey quote that to my wife we're having some issues would you tell her i'm her head and uh she's under my feet yeah yeah you tell her that well here's here's what here's what they're talking about paul says in ephesians 6 and 1 children obey your parents and the lord men love that yeah kid listen to me you're grounded you're you didn't listen back talk yeah i have dominion over you but ephesians 6 and 4 balances it out with servant leadership fathers promote not your children to wrath it's the balance it's not dominion that you you put them on your feet and you crush your children but how you develop your children is you serve them you serve them you work for them you work for it it might cost you some time on your needs when hell is attacking your children but if you would go to god in prayer over your children god will make some mighty workers out of your children you might the world might not say the world might say that your children's just they don't have any hope there's no potential they're just ordinary but if you'll pray that a little bit of heaven will get inside of him it'll give him a purpose that you can't even imagine the world that your dreams for your children are are far less in comparison of what god wants to do with your kids and it comes to servant leadership ephesians 6 and 5 says servants be obedient to them that are your masters i've heard you said yeah i'm your master you serve me but servant leadership is shown with six ephesians 6 and 9. he masters do the same things unto them serve the servants ephesians 5 and 22 says wives submit yourselves and to your husbands woman heard it said a raspy old man voice woman you better listen to me well you better listen to me sir but servant leadership is shown through ephesians 5 25 husbands love your wives even as christ loved the church and gave himself for it we love to say hey you've got to submit to me but what it takes for someone to submit to you is that you got to be willing to give yourself to them you got to be willing to give yourself up just as christ gave himself up from the church and and we've got to the bottom line is if we want if we want the uh order to happen in our homes we've got to give our wives something to submit to men we've got to give our wife something to submit to she doesn't want to submit to some macho man that looks like the the latest guy on a hollywood magazine but he wants she wants us to to submit to someone who would be willing to give their lives to them just as christ would love the church that's how we have spiritual dominion in our home it starts with spiritual order in our homes we serve them we serve them through spiritual through servant leadership we have to show them we have to serve them by showing them how to pray there's a prayer that i pray every single day there's a prayer and i'd get on my knees and if it's five or six minutes into prayer i will pray this god cut deep grooves in my heart it only can be filled with your spirit lord haunt me and these are these almost quotations if you if you ever heard me pray before i i would guarantee you would hear me pray this prayer lord haunt me if i don't pray haunt me if i don't read your word and you know you know where i learned that from you know where i learned that from every single day i'd walk downstairs and my dad would be on his knees and i would hear him pray this prayer god cut deep grooves in my heart that could only be filled with your spirit lord haunt me if i don't pray haunt me if i don't read if i don't read your you know what that is my dad was serving me through servant leadership he was serving with he was serving me by teaching me how to pray yeah my dad got me a basketball goal and some basketball shoes but i don't remember anything of that i can't tell you what brand of shoes he bought me or what type of basketball gold he bought me and put outside but i can't tell you how he taught me how to pray i can tell you that i can pray and i can say lord cut deep grooves in my heart that only can be filled with your spirit lord haunt me if i don't pray i'm so thankful that my dad taught me through servant leadership on how to pray fathers and mothers your children are watching you they're looking to you if you would serve them and show them this is how you serve god this is how you're faithful to the house of the lord this is how you sacrifice even though it doesn't make sense then you'll be serving your family and dominion will happen in your home amen another job for adam was he was to keep the garden to keep it means to watch to secure or observe or guard adam and eve was to watch for evil in the garden even though it was a place of perfection it was still a place that satan would attack ezekiel 28 and 13 says speaking of satan thou hast been in eden the garden of god evil was present in the garden and when satan would come and talk to eve and tempt eve adam must have completely forgot that not only was it his responsibility to serve the garden but it was his responsibility to guard the garden from evil he also had dominion over that thing that was tempting his wife adam must have completely forgot that anything that moves upon the earth any creeping thing even everything that has been created man you have dominion over adam must have completely forgot his responsibility to keep dominion in the garden to to keep dominion in your life it's going to take some spiritual fighting ephesians 6 and 12 for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities against powers against the rulers of darkness of this world against spiritual wickedness in high places second corinthians 10 and 4 says for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through god to the pulling down of strongholds i've said it once before today and i'll say it again the only way that you can fight hell in your home is to have heaven inside of you you're hopeless without it there's no point in even fighting the battle because you don't have you don't have the ability to fight in spiritual warfare if heaven has not breathed the breath of life into you today but i believe by the time this service is over today that even though you have a little bit of heaven inside of you you're going to take home a lot of heaven inside of you and you're going to go home and you're going to have spiritual dominion having dominion doesn't mean that you won't be you'll be exempt from attacks from war but it means that you'll be standing with your shoulders back saying devil i have heaven inside of me and you cannot have my family that's what it means to stand back knowing what is inside of you because greater is he that is within us then he that is in the world that's how you fight hell mobs is you have heaven inside of you that's how you felt hell dads young people the world is throwing a tax at you and the only way to have dominion over that is to have something inside of you it's going to take fighting to keep things keep dominion over things that god has given us of course pastor mentioned this before and i thought this was fitting this morning as pictures have flooded have flooded media outlets from things going on in ukraine this picture absolutely broke my heart they would put that on the screen for me president zielinski a fighter a fighter it's interesting to me if you would trace the president of ukraine's roots back his great great his grandfather if i have the story correct was was one of four brothers one of four brothers and three of those brothers were were murdered in the holocaust he is he's a ukrainian jew he's a ukrainian jew one of his three one of the three brothers was was murdered in the holocaust but there was one that fought and survived that man would have a son and that son would have a son the grandson of a holocaust survivor would be willing to fight in the war if you've seen any pictures of president zielinski he has body armor on he's walking around with guns pastor said it before our president called him and did the right thing and said hey we can get you out of there if you want to he's saying but no you don't understand mr president in my family we fight in wars we fight if my grandfather could survive the holocaust i can survive this i could survive this and president zielinski tweeted out and said that if you want a gun to fight for ukraine we'll give you a gun this my friends is 79 year old valentina konstanios voska i really practice on that sister valentina took my heart this week because she saw her president leading the charge by fighting in the war and that 79 year old woman said i this is her exact words and i'm quoting she said i'm ready to shoot if something happens if she still she's still speaking i will defend my home my city my children i will do this because i think i am ready for it and she entered she ended the interview with this quote i don't want to lose my country and my city if a 79 year old woman can defend her country how much more can we defend the things that god has given us because what you have inside of you is greater than a weapon what you have inside of you is greater than a gun it's the spirit of the almighty god it's the spirit that has had keys to death hell and the grave you're not ordinary but you're able to fight in spiritual battle because you have something inside of you you have something inside of you and i want to tell i want to encourage every single trendsetter here i want to encourage every single person that you find yourself above the age of 50. i want to encourage you today that even though your age is you you're getting wiser you're getting wiser i'll say that very respectfully you're still able to fight in this war if a grandfather of president zielinski there's just something about fighting in a family that keeps on going down from generation to generation it's because dominion flows from generation to generation if president zlinski's grandfather could survive the holocaust and president zielinski says my grandfather stood here and fought in the war what makes me any different i'm going to fight y'all a trendsetter i want to tell you today if you fought some battles it's not in vain but it's going to flow through your children you're going to watch your grandchildren fight things and you're saying i fought that same war and dominion is yours dominion is yours so the question is how do i take authority how do i take dominion philippians 2 and 9 says wherefore god has al highly exalted himself and given him a name which is above every name here's the authority that at the name of jesus every knee should bow here's the dominion if we use the authority we get the dominion every knee should be all of things in heaven and things in earth and things under the earth that every tongue should confess that jesus christ is lord to the glory of god the father the authority that you have is when you take on the name of jesus christ in baptism this is what salvation is all about dominion today you can't fight a spiritual battle if you don't have a name to use in spiritual battle that's why baptism is so important salvation is all about dominion why it's trying to get us back to where god originally created us and originally put us salvation is all about dominion when you go down in the name of jesus christ you have the name which is of of every name over your life and you get to use that authority you get to use that authority because at the name of jesus everything has to bow everything has to flee at the name of jesus oh my god i feel it right now at the name of jesus spiritual wickedness and high places it's the pulling down of strongholds it's at the name of jesus it's at the name of jesus that cancer has to be healed it's at the name of jesus that diseases have to flee it's because we have the authority of the name of jesus can we clap our heads in this place i feel dominion in this house hallelujah hallelujah salvation you may be seated is all about dominion salvation i'm getting so far ahead of myself i can't help it salvation is all about dominion when you repent of your sins you're having dominion over sins god's given you dominion over your sins when you go down in jesus name and what in a watery grave you're having dominion over your flesh when you take on the name of jesus christ and when you receive the gift of the holy ghost you have dominion over your rotten spirit the men salvation is all about dominion you gotta repent of your sins you gotta receive the gift of the holy ghost and you gotta go down in the name of jesus christ in baptism you say hey i'm being fought at home my children then my children are being spiritually attacked and spiritually tormented well i want to ask you a question have you went down in the name of jesus christ because you have no authority if you don't have the name of jesus you're saying my family is they're having spiritual attacks and i can't tell you how my children are being tormented by devils well i want to ask you do you have the spirit of god in your life the spirit of god that gives you dominion do you have it in your life salvation is all about it's all about dominion you might think well well no that's a little extreme to be talking about devils on a sunday morning it's a little extreme to be talking about spirits and all those kind of crazy things that hollywood tries to portray to us and it's a little crazy we got some guests here in the house but those guests here today are being fought by hell it doesn't they there's no point in a place of perfection like the garden you think that the devil would not be able to to attack and entice those in the garden because it's a place of perfection it's it's you know it's just green hills and beautiful trees and beautiful flowers it's you know we're just we're just we're just happy here at the garden don't let anybody try to tell you that because they're being fought by satan i want to tell you guests today that you can go home and you can have dominion over those things if you hear in a few moments if you come to the altar and you begin to lift your hands and it's a gift that god promised you if you feel empty inside if you feel like there's a void in your life you you wonder what your purpose is i promise you you will find purpose today if you come to the altar and say god i i'm empty god i i feel that void in my heart and then god will fill you with the gift of the holy ghost it's a promise that he makes to his people because god never creates someone or something for it not to be filled with something else this might be a little extreme well jesus is on his way and the multitudes came around him mark 9 17 and one of them one of the multitude answered and said master have brought unto thee my son which hath a dumb spirit and whatsoever he taketh he teareth and he followeth and he gnashes with his teeth and bindeth away i spake to thy disciples that they should cast them out and they could not he answered him and said o faithless generation how long shall i be with you how long shall i suffer you and bring him unto me and they brought him unto him and when he saw him straightway that the spirit tear him he fell on the ground and wallowed foaming it's just so interesting to me jesus asked a question and not only did he ask the question that he directed the question to the father he said dad how long is it a ghost since this came unto him i don't want to take jesus's words out of context i feel like i'm very safe and saying paraphrasing prayer phrasing jesus when the father said of a child it was almost as asking jesus was asking how long has it been dad since you take dominion over this if i gave you dominion over your family if i gave you a responsibility to guard your family to serve your family how long has it been how long it's been since a child so you have not exercised your god-given dominion since this boy was a child i want to tell you today parents that you have dominion over things that your children face you have dominion inside of you to to say devil get your hands off my kids devil get your hat you can't have my child you can't have my child why because i know who he is i know my child's identity he was made she was made in the image of the almighty god she was made from a little bit of earth and a little bit of heaven and now my baby's got a lot of heaven in her when she received the gift of the holy ghost we must realize what we have inside of us amen amen now solomon or yes solomon is only king for two chapters picture this with me solomon is only king the wisest man to have ever lived is only king for two chapters if you allow me a little bit of leeway here maybe the oil is still running down his back of his neck the oil's still fresh on him he's only been king for two chapters he's only been king for two chapters everybody say two chapters two chapters not a long time this is not genesis chapters where it covers thousands of years nothing like that two chapters these two chapters deal with solomon praying a prayer it says what he prayed and having a conversation with the man of god that's basically what these two chapters have to do with then the bible has almost the audacity to record what solomon had dominion over first kings 4 and 21 and solomon remember two chapters not much the oil's still dripping off of his crown that he he he's he's realizing he's breaking in that that chair that he sits in his king it's not been long it's only been two chapters and solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the river unto the land of the philistines and to the border of egypt they brought presents and served solomon all the days of his life to my recollection solomon's not a war he's not a fighter solomon's not a fighter two chapters he has dominion over all this land how in the world does solomon have dominion over these places he's never fought in these bat he's never been he's never he probably has never even been to the borders of egypt in the land of the philistines i'm safe to say that how does solomon have dominion over places and about it in areas and that he's never even fought in it's because that dominion belonged to david that the dominion over those places belonged to david and then it was transferred to solomon the area that solomon had dominion over was from battles that his father fought for him solomon had dominion over areas that his father fought in there are some battles that me personally that i have never had to fight in because my mother and my father fought that battle for me there are some things that i don't have to struggle with and i don't have to question because my parents fought for the their dominion for me my parents had dominion over it and it transferred to me my parents slew the giant of tithing that's why it was never a battle for me i never had to wonder why why would god want ten percent my my parents slew that battle they won dominion over that a long time ago i never had to wonder why am i supposed to worship why am i supposed to lift my hands you know why my parents fought that battle for me because i watched my parents growing up lifting their hands they would begin to jump up and down what did they do they fought the battle they fought the battle for me today you can fight some giants in your life parents and you can give some dominion to yourself and transfer it to your kids i just believe there's some things you can fight and some things that you can face today because if you fight the battle the dominion will go to your children solomon's it says that they brought him presents it brought him presents and served solomon all of his days but he never fought in that battle one time it was david his father that fought that battle the question is here's the application musicians would come how do we obtain dominion matthew 16 13 starts the process of how dominion is obtained matthew 16 13 when jesus came to the coast of caesarea philippi he asked his disciples saying who do men say that i the son of man am and that said some say that thou art john the baptist some say elias and others jeremiahs are one of the prophets and he said unto them but who do you say that i am and simon peter said thou art christ the son of the living god dominion starts when we realize who jesus christ is that's where dominion starts and follow along here with me here's what comes after we have the revelation of who jesus is and jesus answered and said unto him blessed art thou simon barjona for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee by my father which is in heaven and i say unto thee that thou art peter and upon this rock that's the revelation that he had i will build my church watch this here's where the dominion comes and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it here's more dominion and i'll give you the keys the kingdom of heaven and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven dominion doesn't stop there we go over to acts one and six it says and when they therefore were come together they asked of him saying lord will thou at this time restore again the kingdom of israel they were asking about an earthly dominion and verse 7 says this is jesus talking and he said unto them it is not for you to know the times or the seasons which the father have put in his own power but jesus is about to say to them i'm giving you something greater than earthly dominion i'm going to give you spiritual dominion verse 8 but ye shall receive power that power is dominion after that the holy ghost is come upon you and you shall be witnesses unto me in jerusalem in all judea and samaria and utter the most in the other most parts of the earth to take dominion this morning we've got to have the spirit of god in our lives i feel it's so strong in this place you'd be so kind to stand with me if hell is fighting you this morning the hell is fighting your homes you're hopeless if you don't have the spirit of god inside of you you can't fight in a spiritual battle if you don't have a spirit inside of you that is greater than anything you face today i want to let's just pray for just a moment because i believe someone is going to come to the altar that hell has been fighting your homes hell has been fighting your marriage hell has been fighting your children and you're hopeless if we don't have the the spirit of god the way that adam and eve have dominion is they were made from the dust of the earth and they had a little bit of heaven inside of them today i want to tell someone today that you can leave with spiritual dominion this morning if you would come to this altar and you throw up your hands and you're saying god i am nothing without you is there anyone today that'll come and you're feeling that battle you feel like you're wrestling and you're not making any you're not making any advancements you've got to have the spirit of god in your life you've got to have the spirit of the almighty god maybe you've never received the gift of the holy ghost if you had come to this altar today it's a gift that god promised you it's a gift that god promised you today you begin to lift your hands church family let's come around the altar today in the name of jesus christ god move in this place this morning
