let's turn to the word of the Lord tonight First Kings 18 and 20 I give you great people honor tonight it's an honor to stand before you and preach to you the word of God first Kings 18 and 20 if you got your Bibles open to First Kings 18 and20 I want you to say Amen if you're cheating on the screen I want you to say Amen good majority all right First Kings 18 and 20 says so Ahab sent unto all the children of Israel and gathered the prophets together unto Mount Carmel and Elijah came unto all the people and said how long halt ye between two opinions if the Lord be God follow him but if bail then follow him and the people answered him not a word and then said elij unto the people I even I only remain a prophet of the Lord but B's prophets are 400 and 50 men so thankful that God really doesn't care about numbers God just cares about faithfulness so if it if it was a a numbers battle then Elijah would have been in a heap of trouble but all it takes is one to stand up for truth all it takes up one to say God is still God and he's on the throne God can do more with one than he can with 450 prophets of baale verse 23 says let them therefore give us two Bullocks and let them choose one Bullock for themselves cut it into pieces lay it on the wood and put no fire under it and I will dress the other Bullock and lay it on the wood and put no fire under it and call ye on the name of your gods and I will call on the name of the Lord and the god that anth by fire let him be God and all the people answered and said it is well spoken tonight my topic in this short few minutes that I honored to stand here tonight and preach to you I want to preach tonight it's time to Fight Fire with Fire look to your neighbor and say I'm ready to Fight Fire with Fire how many of you have been baptized with Holy Ghost and Fire In This Place come on has there ever been a moment where the Holy Ghost Fire Came Upon Your Body come on I believe there's some witnesses in the house from the top of your head to to the so I feel the Lord in this place from the top of your head to the SES of your feet you felt the fire of the Lord and I want to tell someone tonight that that fire that you felt is greater than any fire that hell could ever throw at you that fire of the Holy Ghost that you received when you were a child is greater than anything hell can ever throw at you one more time would you say with me Fight Fire with Fire put your Bibles down lift your voice to Heaven most importantly lift your voice Lou loudly into heaven let's ask God to touch us tonight God I love you Lord this evening it's an honor to be in your presence today God to stand before the greatest group of people in all the world God and I pray tonight that your word would speak for itself God I'm so thankful that you started a fire over 2,000 years ago and that fire is still burning that fire is still spreading and it's spreading in this house today God every person that enters into the doors of this house can receive this fire tonight through the power of the name of Jesus Christ and we ask that you would anoint us today in Jesus name we pray someone said in Jesus name in Jesus name you may be seated all across the house tonight how many's thankful for a church that the fire still Falls how many's thankful for a church that we don't try to control the fire but we're very okay when the service is going on and the fire interrupts our schedules are you thankful to be in a church that the Holy Ghost still is poured out in this place if you are would you put your hands together in this house tonight amen and amen there are many different agencies particularly out west that have been working so hard to stop fires that are out of control the NOAA reports that wildfires have caused 81.6 6 billion with a B in damage from 2017 to 20121 a nearly tenfold increase from 2012 to 2016 when those damages between those years totaled to 8.6 billion do over the past 40 years the average number of Acres of forest fires forested land consumed by wildfires each year in the United States has increased by over 1,000% according to National Geographic over the past 40 years these fires have increased over 1,000% more than 50,000 people have died prematurely in a state out west over a decade due to they've died 50,000 people died prematurely over a decade due to exposure to toxic particles in Wildfire smoke I won't tell you what that state is but if you moved here from California we're going to pray for you after this service is over tonight wildfires have stolen the lives of thousands of people can't even give you an exact number over the F past five years that wildfires have claimed the lives of over thousands thousands of individuals matter of fact here a few years ago we were victims here in the Smoky Mountains of a wild fire when the conditions are right a wildfire can do unimaginable damage as we were just a few minutes and miles away from a fire ourselves the question that was posed to these organizations that are just helping the victims through recovering from a fire the question posed to them was how do we stop these wildfires before they ever get started why are we dealing with so many victims when we can get down to the root cause of what starts these wildfires that become out of control and our solution we see tonight from these organizations that has been brought forward and has been quite effective is what we call prescribed fires or controlled Burns while the number of wildfires are growing at such an alarming rate there has to be a tool to counteract these devastating wildfires and the prescribed Fire or the co controlled burn that we read about has been used for decades but it's been picked it's picked up some traction here in the last recent bit the last decade uh that they use this manner of firefighting by starting a fire before the Wildfire ever gets started prescribed fire has been used for over a decade to manage Forest uh uh debris and remove excessive amounts of logs that would be uh logs and branches and Forest debris that would be the fuel of a wildfire these things that are left on the forest floor this organization talks about is the fuel that is is is uh the fuel to the Raging wildfire that takes the lives of thousands of victims things that are left over on the floor of these Forest are the fuel that the Wildfire uses to become out of control control to become hot to grow in power and so the point tonight is that they start a fire that is under control in order to stop a fire that is in that is out of control the purpose of this controlled fire is to rob the Wildfire of fuel that it will use to grow ins size and take the lives of many now I know tonight some of us being from East Tennessee and wearing the proud label of redneck that we love to start fires even start sorry to our webcast listeners even sometimes illegally all right so I I don't urge anybody to do that tonight from this message but I do want to tell you that while the fire is real and Power in the physical it is just as real and even more powerful in the spiritual because hell uses all sorts of fires first Peter 4 and 12 says beloved think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you hell has a fiery trial headed your way Ephesians 6:16 says above all taking the shield of Faith wherewith ye shall uh be able to quench the fiery darts of the wicked hell's got some fiery Dart Hearts heading your way if you feel like this preaching is encouraging you would you say Amen Revelation 20 and 14 it says and death and hell were cast into the Lake of Fire this is the second death even hell itself is a place of fire and as I was thinking about this concept it it dawned on me that this statement we use a lot that do not fight fire with fire you're just going to make things things worth worse well God himself in the scripture uses fire to fight fire Exodus 3 and 2 says and the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush God used fire to speak to Moses Exodus 13 and 20 21 and the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud and to lead them the way and by night in a Pillar of Fire God LED his people to the promised land by by during the night by fire Leviticus 6 and12 and the fire upon the altar it shall be burn it shall be burning in it it shall not be put out God has used a continual fire upon the altar in the Old Testament Jeremiah 23 and 29 if you don't think God uses fire well he says his word is not my word like as of fire sayeth the Lord like a hammer that breakthough in pieces even his word even God's word is like fire Acts 2 and three the experience that hopefully everybody in this house tonight that has experienced and there appeared unto them clothing tongues like as of fire and it set upon each of them God used fire for them to know know what was prophesied in Luke 3:16 had come to pass John says and he shall baptize you with Holy Ghost and with fire and I've come to tell us tonight that hell has a wildfire that's waiting to destroy every last one of us are we ready for some deep preaching tonight the deepest preaching you've ever heard hell hates you that's super deep tonight I know you're ready for pastor ham and pastor ericon Pastor Carpenter get back up here but I want to tell you tonight that hell wants to destroy you hell has got a fire waiting for your marriage hell has got a fire waiting to destroy your family he wants to destroy the will of God in your life he wants destroy everything that God has set in order in your life but I've got good news for us tonight that God fights fire with fire because over 2,000 year years ago on the day of Pentecost the Holy Ghost that's a fire started to burn and it spread like wildfire so what I want us to do tonight is to start a fire that's in control to defeat the Fire that's out of control I want to tell you tonight if you let the Holy Ghost get upon you tonight the Holy Ghost will consume everything that Satan tries to use to kill you and to destroy you if you let the Holy Ghost Fire get upon you why you're here tonight brother Nolan I'm here to start a controlled fire inside of my life that no matter what hell throws my way I've got a fire inside of me that's greater that's stronger I feel the scripture saying to us tonight greater is he that's within me than he that's in the world what's that saying I've got a burning passion to live for God greater and stronger than anything hell can throw my way talking about fighting fire with fire Hell Fire is meant to kill steal and destroy but Heaven's fire is meant to save you it's meant to give you life and it's meant to preserve you if we aren't careful we will have things in our lives that the wild fire from hell will use as fuel for a raging fire that will destroy each and every one of us things in our life called flesh that hell the fire from hell can come in and use that as fuel to destroy us but God has a fire that can be in control and that can steal the fuel that hell uses to destroy us and the purpose of flesh is one thing it's to be burned upon and altar of fire Heaven wants to give us a fire tonight if we'll get in the right mode and I feel this in the Holy Ghost tonight that the things that hell uses in your life as fuel to sprout up fires in your marriage and Sprout up fires in your family Heaven wants to give us a fire called the Holy Ghost tonight to kill every ounce of fuel that Satan uses to start fires in our life what about the fuel called gossip I know we're all we're all guilty of this and tonight God's saying if you let the Holy Ghost fire burn it up Satan won't have an Avenue to get in your ear and then eventually get into your heart Holy Ghost Fire and gossip can't be in the same place Holy Ghost Fire and talking bad about one another and criticizing families across the a if we're not careful a wildfire can start in this place and it's not a good fire but let the Holy Ghost come in on a Sunday night and let it get upon families that didn't see eye to eye one another and let them start worshiping in the altar once again and you watch that gossip go out the window what happened the Holy Ghost Fire came in and the Holy Ghost Fire stole the fuel of the Wildfire hell uses the fuel of the flesh doesn't like to worship and God's saying tonight kill it with fire you don't like to worship got a question for you what's wrong with you well I didn't like the worship well where in the world do we ever think this is about us it's about him and when I give him what he desires you know what happens the fire the fire begins to fall I don't like the leap and clap my hands well who who when did you ever think that this was about you I don't know why God likes this but if God likes this and this is what brings the fire down this is what I'm going to give them I don't know I don't really think that God likes this I don't know why either but when I jump and leap for Joy something begins to happen and the I don't know why they sing and they go all crazy in the altar well guess what it's not about us it's all about him and when I get in the mode of praise and worship and when I get in the mode of lifting my voice not caring what anybody else is doing around me the fire begins to start the fire I wish somebody right now soak the fire a little bit smoke the fire with your worship smoke the fire with your lifting your hand I know you're going through hand but if you can start a fire in your life tonight I know your family's in chaos but if you can start a fire in your life tonight come on greater is he that's within you when you stoke the fire there's something on the inside of you that will fight what you're facing on the outside come on worship that's the fire if you don't like to worship you have a fuel that hell will use if you don't if you don't like the fire of worship and you've got some fuel if you don't like praise and worship well the new songs are repetitive well the old songs are repetitive too they only sing new songs I go to places they only sing old songs and have we forgotten they're written about the same God yes sir we're WR The Amazing Grace is written about the one true Living God when they say praise the Lord you know who they're talking about the one true and living God we forgot all about who the fire is for the fire is for God to pour it out in our lives I don't care what version of the song it is if it promotes the fire let it go I don't care what version or What BPM or what time signature it is I don't care if you clap like this I don't care if you clap on the one and three I don't care if you clap on the two and four let for God's sake the fire Let the Fire some of you are not you don't even know when the word I'm talk about just stoke the fire a little bit I know you don't know what all that mumbo jumbo is but I do know one thing when I begin to worship God the fire begins to flow I'm telling you tonight if you begin to worship your family can come back together I'm telling you tonight if you begin to praise your family could come back together oh yeah oh yeah wello I'm getting old dad bod's in full effect and I'm out of breath well I don't like to worship I'm not the emotional type well what you're telling everyone around you and most importantly you're telling God is you are only emotional about the things that are important to you if you're saying that I'm not emotional and that's why I don't worship I'm I'm a groan man I ain't G to cry well you're telling me you're telling me when Tennessee kicked that field goal to beat Alabama for the first time in a thousand years there's so that you're a liar okay you're a liar you're a liar you're God Almighty all right call it out I'm trying son I'm trying trying to stoke the fire a little bit you're telling me that didn't get you excited when the Cubs finally in over a 100 years they blamed it on some goat or something like that you're telling me when they finally won the World Series that didn't do something within you you're telling me last night when Nico le la la la la Lama whatever his name is scored 900 points that didn't do something for you but when I come into the house of God I don't have to worry about my God losing a football game I don't my God's undefeated my God's unmatched and he deserves some Glory he deserves this is something we're getting emotional about this is something to lift our hands over it's not one thing to wear a jersey for another team I'm on The Winning Side I'm on The Winning Side what's that brother doing he's starting to fire what's that brother doing he's starting to fire I promise you that fire I'm telling you tonight what's in this house can save your family if you have a backsliding son or daughter what you need to have is for them to come back in the church and the fire to be still hot the fire to be be going and the fire to be just as real as when they left the first time oh oh yeah all right this makes me emotional this is worth investing your emotions if you haven't got excited that God has saved your soul from a place called hell you ought to check yourself tonight if that's not worthy of you even lifting your voice to him you ought to check yourself I I I I had just got a fear for someone tonight that if you don't feel like worship and praise is worth giving to God you've got some fuel that hell is going to use to start a wildfire so I wish to God tonight you would get in the Flames of the Holy Ghost and let that flame burn up that fuel amen amen amen I I got one you may be seated I've got one exception this group of people you're exempt from praising God somebody said help them Lord I heard it wait one does anybody want know what that group is one group if you're here tonight you don't have to all right you don't have to nobody needs to look at you they don't have to nobody's got to frown at you they they just the Bible the Bible not me but the Bible says this group is is exempt from praising and worshiping God we ready Psalms 115 put up there the dead praise not the Lord neither any that go down neither any that go down in silence if you've got breath in your body you have enough breath to stoke the fire of the Holy Ghost if you are breathing inside if you've got breath inside your body you need to recognize where that breath comes from that breath comes from the Lord and I'm giving that breath back to you with my praise and my worship God you gave me the ability to lift my hands so I'm going to give my hand waving to you you gave me the ability to lift my foot because I know that Satan is under my feet and when I lift my hands and I st my feet something it begins I'm talking about soaking in the fire stok in the fire and you may think well brother noan this is not doing much of something this may be a lot been a long time since You' done it in the first place you might have realized that all the fuel that that has gone into starting a fire that hell is starting a wild fire in your life and I want to come Fight Fire with Fire tonight I don't want there to be any fuel inside of my spiritual body that hell can you use as fuel for a wildfire to destroy me I want to make sure that there's no fuel in my home like gossip or things on a television that that hell can use to slip into my marriage and destroy my family because I want the red hot fire of the Holy Ghost to convict me and to remove everything that hell can destroy me with come on you may think well that's oldfashioned this is oldfashioned Holy Ghost Fire preaching yeah come on now you got things on your TV that you're watching Lord God help me if you've got things on a a cell phone that you're looking at need the fire of the Holy Ghost to get on you tonight let the fire and it's a good thing it's something that is frowned upon by the world they say well every time I go to church I feel convicted it's the fire of the Holy Ghost you better thank God and you better hope to God that there's never a point that you walk into the house of God and you don't feel the fire begin to Pride you a little bit you don't feel the fire of the preaching of the word of God begin to pull you a little bit out of the pit of Hell out of the bit of sin that fire that fire that fire the Bible also makes these comments about the dead Ecclesiastes 9:4 for to him that is joined to all the living there is is hope for a living dog is better than a deadline I don't want to be not dead for the lack of Praise Matthew 2232 well I don't feel called to worship and praise God well I'm the god of Abraham God of Isaac the god of Jacob God is not if you don't feel like you have to praise well I got news for I'm gonna say something and I hope it comes across the right way if you don't feel like you have to praise God then God is not your God then God is not your God cuz apparently God didn't bring you out of sin like he brought me out of sin apparently you deserve to go to heaven but my God in my life I did I do not deserve to go to heaven I don't deser I deserve a devil's hell but there was something at a chapel service on a Friday morning when Pastor Ericson begin to preach and he begin to preach about the Holy Ghost and this six-year-old boy came to the Altar and he began to lift his hands and he was filled with Holy Ghost and fire I didn't deserve it and God deserves everything that I've got to give to him come on it'd be a good idea to take a 30 second examination of your status with praise and worship if you can't praise and worship God I want to tell you in the kindest way you're on life support tonight because there's some fuel in your body that's firing giving fuel to a wildfire there's some fuel in your spiritual walk that's giving fuel if you can't be in here when the praise and the worships going on you're got to check yourself because there's fuel that hell will use come on do I have any living people here tonight that you're willing to praise and worship the almighty God you're willing to praise and worship the almighty God you may be seated Jeremiah says I will not make mention of him nor speak of him speak anymore in his name but his word was in my heart as a burning could somebody say that next word with me fire shut up in my bones I was weary with forbearing and I could not I could not stay some people they don't read their Bibles it really shows because how God fights the fire of hell is through the fire of anybody that has that fire in their life right now do I have anybody that has that fire oh yeah come on do I have anybody that reads their Bible tonight oh what about oh everything that I'm faced with oh my fire is going out everything I'm faced with greater is he that's within me than he that's that's what my fire says that's what my fire that's what my fire says oh oh oh oh man the fire of my life is the fire I'm broke got no money in my pocket I'm broke all right you ever seen that story that little kid it's like James has got two apples and and then he's got a friend that's got three and how many they have left he says James is broke okay what about the fire in your life as you're broke well this fire says to bring thee all the tithe into the storehouse that there may be meat in my house thus sayth the Lord prove me not that I won't open up the windows of Heaven and pour you out a blessing that there's not that's what the fire says you better be careful this thing's hot all right this thing's hot it's so hot that when you begin it's so hot when you begin to read it something gets inside of your life it's so hot that the fire of hell that you've been faced with all your life when you begin to read God's holy word something begins to be stirred up inside of you something begins to change in you wow this book's hot this book hot sorry shouldn't have outed the kids quest preacher what about a sickness in your body tonight I'm sick that's the fire of my life the Bible says by his stripes we were healed by his stripes what about what about if you're facing all sorts of spirit of Oppression in your life Jesus says in this book this book's hot you better watch out better be careful touching this thing if you don't intend to imply it you better be careful reading this thing if you you don't going to take what it says and apply it to your life cuz you'll be miserable my friend you'll be miserable but if you'll take that fire and you'll get it inside of your life if you'll take that fire of God's holy word that Jeremiah says it's like fire shut up in my bones and when you get that fire on the inside of you of God's holy word it takes you through every wild fire that hell is going to throw at you it's going to take you through every dry season when the famine start to go and the fire begins to rain this word of God can bring you through every fire of your marriage this word that's a fire could bring you to win all life begins to throw all sorts of fiery darts and you realize that there's a fire that's greater than the fire that I'm facing how many you're thankful that God's word's on fire amen amen amen I thank God tonight for a book that's on fire and smoke alarms that have not went yet off they haven't went off yet amen you notice we do a lot of things with pastor xks and said we do a lot of things when Pastor Carpenter sister Carpenter out here you think I'm catching something on fire in the sanctuary and my mama sitting right mom's hairstyle that was not to make fun okay I love her to death all right Leviticus 6:9 tells us to command Aaron and his son saying this is the the burnt offering it's the burnt offering because of the burning upon the altar all night and all morning the fire altar shall be burning in it goes upon tells you about how to start a fire but verse 13 tells us the fire shall ever be burning upon the altar it shall never go out it's sad when people get in church and they're so on fire for God but then some somehow years later they've lost all Zeal and they lost all fire they've lost all passion for God I want to tell somebody tonight with all kindness that's not how God intended for this relationship to be God intended for the honeymoon phase between you and God to never end because you realize that the more that you know about God the more you know he loves you and the more preaching you hear the more you know you could be like God and all those things because the fire is still to burn God told them that this was going to be a miraculous fire but Humanity would have a role in this fire Humanity would be would would need to be involved by keeping this fire burning and never going out in the Book of Leviticus Leviticus 9 and 24 and there came out a fire from before the Lord and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat which when all the people saw they shouted and they fell on their faces I want to know what I want us to notice tonight about this passage of scripture the fire of God came once miraculously and it was the hum humans it was Humanity's job to keep the fire burning it was the fire of the Holy Ghost that fell once but it was their job to continually stay breaking of bread and fellowship and praying and staying in the apostles Doctrine notice that the fire Falls once as a sign of it's here but there is a stoking of a fire by Paul says I Must Die daily it's one thing I'm so thankful for it the first time I received the gift of the Holy Ghost I'm so thankful I after I went to The Altar and I received the Holy Ghost everybody at the lunch table gave me their cookies that day and that wasn't the best part but that's what happened I remember like it was yesterday all right don't remember what the message was but I remember them cookies they were good but the Holy Ghost is not supposed to be a one-time event the Holy Ghost is supposed to be a continual happening throwing logs on the altar throwing logs on the altar well it's been a long time you might need to check your fire because it may have went out so I want to soak you a little bit when's the last time you talk in other tongues as the spirit of God gave you the utterance the first time was important but the next time it's just as important that person that is filled continually with the gift of the Holy Ghost I know everybody has a story of how God brought you out of the pit of sin but I'm telling you tonight humbly and so kindly tonight that that's not going to save you what's going to save you every Wednesday you walk in the house of God the throw logs on the altar throw logs on the altar every morning before you go to work before you go to work by praying throw every log on the altar because it takes one fire from God to be started but it takes a Contin continual lifetime for that fire to keep going every day for that altar to keep going the Holy Ghost Fire you may be seated happens once but it takes a lifetime of commitment for that fire to be going there's family altars that have been started all across this house but if we're not careful there's family altars that used to burn with fire when the Holy Ghost Came Upon an entire family but if we're not caring ful we got to throw logs on the fire it's so good I'm so thankful it happened for the first time but there's some family altars of dedication to God's house that used to have fire upon them but don't let the fire go out don't let the passion and the Zeal don't let a season of your life distract you from your main job to keep the fire burning in your family don't let a season of blessings distract you from the fire that's your main responsibility here on Earth you can go to hell broke but good God you can do that too you can go to heaven broke but you can't go to heaven unless the fire's burning I'm not going to let a season of blessing I'm not going to let a season where God opens up the windows of heaven and pours me out a blessing because I saw the fire of tithe and offering I'm not going to let that season of blessing distract me from the main goal as my job as a parent my job as a husband my job as as a Kids Quest leader is to stoke the fire in the place that God has put me at to stoke the fire of prayer every morning before that son or that daughter leaves for school it's my job yes I want to be I want to be a drummer and I want to be all these things I want to be awesome I want to be successful but what's it work to lose the fire of the holy ghost in my house what's it worth what's it worth what's it worth to the distract you from the fire I didn't find mom and dad at the altar of convenience Fallen Lauren and I didn't find our parents at the altar just continually serving God when it was just blessing I saw my parents at an altar of worship unto God it was a daily thing a daily thing not that I'm cracked up to be anything God knows that's got two fake teeth up here I just I'm fake as it gets all right true story I'll tell you later come ask me if I have any hope in my life think I had enough sense to marry flry Sanders no too my mom this is all sorry Mom it's just all about you Mom Dad they came home from at too one time and they said man that that little girl dad dad was telling Mom that little girl girl I think that's a good one for Nolan and mom looks back to Dad and says yeah if he's got enough sense to recognize it it's a truth it's truth you think I had enough sense in my life to put God's word first but I had a parent I had two parents I would find continually at the altar I'd have two parents that would come to Wednesday night when you wish it's Christmas you wish they would cancel church church but yet they felt like it was so important to come on Christmas and to stoke the fire a little bit what' that tell me was that a little much maybe but what it tells me is that the most important thing is throwing logs on the fire the most important thing it's not convenience or anything but the only hope that I have by the mercies and the grace of God is I had a mom and a dad that showed me how to stoke the fire this is how you lift your voice and this is how you get a hold of God this is how you stoke the fire with fasting I know some trouble's going on Dad but I'm telling you years ago he showed me when trouble's going on you sto the fire years ago when things begin to happen I didn't understand dad would show me how to sto the fire that's the hope that's the hope you may be seated intentions tonight when I first got up here to go this route in this message I feel like the Holy Ghost is trying to prod me a little bit the god of Bale in the scripture you can stud this out the god of baale was the god of fire so when it come time for God to prove himself to backslid Israel 10 tribes 10 of the 12 are backsliding had a had a Godless King by the name of Ahab and a Godless Queen by the name of Jezebel what they would do to worship this God of Bale and we think this whole abortion deal is new it's not because what they would do to please A God Called Bell was to throw their newborn babies in a fire because Bale was the god a fire and so when God said Elijah go down there I'm going answer you by fire facing the wrath of prophet killing king and the prophet killing Queen named Jezebel Elijah has two options do I just be okay with the ruins or do I try to do something for Revival because there was an altar there that was broken down there was an altar there that we'll we'll see in this story as we read there's a there's an altar there that was broken down was it broken down by neglect absolutely was it because of Jezebel that they didn't go to that Altar and worship the almighty God sure we see that Elijah had two options ruins or Revival and that's the difference and every every single one of our Lives that's the difference of this church that's the difference of your family if the fire falls you're always going to have a Revival in your family always good things are coming at the fire's burning in your family you can be in the worst season of of your life but as long as the fire of the Holy Ghost is in your family everything's good but then ruins what's the difference it's the continual burning of fire or it's the absence of Fire why did that altar why was it broken down because there was no more fire on that altar there was no more fire on that altar we have a ruin we have ruins of an altar that once was that's the difference of this church if this church ever ceases to have the fire you'll see a ruin of a place that once was you'll see a ruins of this place that used to be the house where people would be set free but somewhere the fire stopped falling the fire the blessings were P poured out in this place the blessings were poured out on every family through seasons of sacrifice but somehow they lost the fire and then we just see a ruin of what of what once was verse 22 and said Elijah unto the people I even I only remain a prophet of the Lord but B's prophets are 450 so Elijah told them to cut up a sacrifice and put it on the altar the god that answered by fire let him be God and all the people they understood they said it is well spoken they took a bullock which was given to him and dressed it verse 26 and called the name of baale morning even until noon saying oh Bale hear us there was no voice nor any that answered they even leaped upon the altar they begin to worship their God and matter of fact it might have looked like a little bit of what we were doing earlier in the service they begin to leap and they they begin to worship the god of Baal the prophets of Baal had passion they had commitment they were sincere they had devotion they had great energy but what they did not have was the fire they had all these things that we hope to have in our relationship with God great passion for God great devotion for God great commitment for God but they were missing the fire I know a lot of good people who are faithful to God they're committed and they're sincere but the one thing they lack spiritually is the fire of the Holy Ghost I want to ask us tonight when's the last time a fire fell on our families this is what the Holy Ghost is speaking to me so clearly right now when Mom and Dad when's the last time that you led your family to the fire of the Holy Ghost when's the last time this is the how long do you halt between two opinions because there is a fire that will consume your children it's either the fire fire of baale the fire of culture or it's going to be the fire of the Holy Ghost and it's up to us to Stak that fire in our home it's up to us to stoke that fire in our marriages it's up to us to stoke that fire because if we're not careful the ruins of what's of what was the ruins of what used to be all depends on if the fire still Falls or the fire the absence of fire God sometimes seems to be at a little bit of a disadvantage God seems to be someone of being at a disadvantage towards Bale Elijah goes and gets four buckets of water and they toss it on the the sacrifice three times so much so that water began to go out of the the bottom of the of the S of the the altar there then Elijah prayed the short prayer and the god that answers by fire fought fire with fire that day because the god of Bale the god of fire the hell that wants to come in this family come in this church is stopped by one thing the fire of the Holy Ghost I want to tell us tonight that Elijah this is what I feel in my spirit so strong youd be so kind to stand with me the fire of the holy ghost wanted to fall the fire of God wanted to fall it was God's will for him to prove himself put himself at a disadvantage to put water at the bottom of the altar the god of fire Bale you think this would be a no contest you think that baale would win this every time but Elijah before that fire fell the Bible says that that he rebuilt an altar of the Lord that was broken down verse 30 verse 30 in this chapter if youd put that on the screen for me first Kings 18 and 30 and Elijah said unto all the people come near unto me and all the people came near unto him and he repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down I want to tell us tonight that the first time you come to the altar you're sure to experience the fire of the Holy Ghost every time David had an altar that God's fire fell upon Solomon had an altar that God's fire fell upon and even in the first part of scripture with Cain and Abel what M what makes us see that c God had respect unto Abel's sacrifice and not Cain many people say that the fire of God fell and consumed the sacrifice of Abel let tell you the first time you brought your family to the altar I know you felt the fire of the Holy Ghost it happens the first time it happens the first time that the the Divine fire of God comes and ignites a flame in your relationship with God it's a miraculous thing but we see that humanity is involved by stoking the fire by praying and and putting logs upon the fire but we see a fire here with Elijah that was broken the question is can God put fire on an altar that once had the fire upon it can God put the fire on an altar that was broken can God put a fire on a family that used to have a prayer life it's not just the first time but tonight if You' come to the altar here in a few moments and you begin to rebuild those places of commitment you begin to rebuild those places of prayer that you used to have your family before they'd go out the door and before they'd go out to school You' used to pray with him and just you've been so busy and I I know all those things happened but you've neglected and now you have a broken altar so I want to tell somebody tonight in the fear of the Holy Ghost that if you would attempt to build the altar tonight God's going to pour fire upon you once again if your marriages if you'd come to the altar tonight you attempt I feel the Lord so strong right now hear my heart church if you'd come to the altar young man and you would say God I'm going to commit to you again to build that altar I'm going to commit get to you again that place of prayer that I had after Strong Tower but after I got so busy with life and busy with seasons and and school that altar begin to be broken down and now there's no more fire I want to tell someone tonight if you would attempt if you'd commit to God to build that altar once again the fire of the Holy Ghost the fire of the Holy Ghost will come to that old broken altar that you begin to rebuild the fire of the Holy Ghost will come to that old altar that you're Mar marage used to be at the fire of the Holy Ghost will come to that old altar that you had before you had those seasons of mistakes come on tonight church if we could come to the Altar and we could rebuild what was rebuild what you used to have rebuild that fire rebuild that passion come on Church rebuild that family altar rebuild that family altar come on your children are going to be in a fire and you determine if it's a fire fire of culture if it's the fire of baale if it's the fire of the Winds of Hell or is it holy ghost fire that's provided from your altar come on that's it come on that's it rebuild that altar come on rebuild that altar come on get some fire in your soul tonight and rebuild that altar commit to God once again what was come on if you've walked away with your relationship with God all it takes is an attempt to build an altar it don't take a fancy prayer it just takes a sincere prayer that's all Al like to prayed that the god that answers by fire would do what he said he would do come on young man it's been a long time since you come to the altar all it takes you felt the Holy Ghost when you used to be at school you felt the Holy Ghost in rush hour and Chapel Services but your altar has been broken down would you come to the altar once again it would you give your life to God if you rebuild that altar tonight family fire will fall if you rebuild that altar tonight family member uh come on Old to defend me I want a fire on the inside of me to fight everything come on families maybe get together tonight come on Father stoke the fire with that son or daughter I've seen so many times when a father begins to pray for their children that they receive the gift of the Holy Ghost for the first time it's God showing to us tonight there's a family altar there's a family altar come on God's here right now God's here right now come on get that fire inside of you come on get that fire on the inside of you come on dads when's the last time that kids quest getting H you pray Out Loud come on moms when's the last time that young lady when's the last time that young lady heard you speaking other tongues come on no altar is going to be broken down in the carpenter family no altar is going to be broken down the hide family no altars going to be broken broken down in the Johnson family come on if you've never receiv received the gift of the Holy Ghost before you lift your voice right now come on maybe you've lost your passion and your Zeal for God rebuild that altar tonight come on there's hope for you right now that fire that you felt years ago before you made the mistake is here for you after you made the mistake as long as you rebuild the altar God doesn't care what you've been through God doesn't care where you've been where you come from this morning God cares that you're building altar where you feel like I could skip this it's just not really for me it's just another Sunday night we'll be back next week that you feel like that you can miss an altar call where the fire begins but claim to be walking with the fire all week in the Bible there's a term mentioned called Strange Fire it was still fire but they didn't get it from the altar they just claimed it was what it was and tried to walk into the pre they tried to walk out into their business they tried to walk and Lead their F they tried to walk into the presence of God but they didn't get it in an office Altar and the reason you can't fight fire during the week is because you got a strange fire I never want to I want to train my children I want this youth group every time there's a moment to pray I know everybody comes forward but I want to engage and I want to investigate my heart say God there's not one moment where I could ever just say that uh I'm just this is just another one of them messages about the fire of the Holy Ghost you know God God help us as a church from generation to generation to generation no matter how long I've been in this thing no matter how many terms I've heard a sermon about the fire or sermon about the Holy Ghost or a sermon about forgiveness or a sermon about God can use me it doesn't matter I get to come to an altar and I get to rekindle that within me and I get to stir up that gift and the minute that I don't it becomes strange I want to challenge you I I want I want you to really let this sink in with you you know there's so many of us that are facing so many things many of you I talked to on the phone last week and and and went into different conversations and I'm struggling this I'm struggling with that and this is so true in the fact that you just you're you're you're fighting those fiery trials maybe it's a generational curse maybe it's a situation within your whatever it is it's a trial but it's like those three Hebrew boys you can't throw somebody in the fire that's already already on fire you can't burn somebody that's already burnt and all that happens you know the one way you can study pyromaniacs and combustions and how to create the only way to make a fire hotter is you got to put more fire on it and there's nothing more powerful than this message than the fact that God will take what the enemy meant for evil and he will turn it for good you can throw them in the furnace but it ain't going to do nothing but burn the people throwing it in cuz when you put somebody that's already on fire into something like a fiery trial it's going to do nothing but bring God glory and bring a fourth man into the situ there's so many things here that you've got to understand that if I can walk in the fire of the Holy Ghost it's the most powerful thing that I can do but I can't get the P the fire that dwells within that that that special place that God depicts throughout the whole Bible without an altar so if there's anything that we cannot this moment right here here it's not just about us making a few steps up and coming up and standing wherever we can get up cuz it sure is crowded I'm thankful that it's you I'm thankful that it's a lot of peer pressure it's like man I don't want to not come right everybody's coming but it's not just about getting out of your seat it's about making sure that that fire is still in there right I've got to make sure and so I'm going to give you one more opportunity just cuz I feel so LED and so stirred in the Holy Ghost to lift up your hands and every age every individual if you could just just want Lord I don't want to take this moment for granted Lord I don't want to just check off oh I just came to know Lord I I want my soul to be stirred tonight God I want it to be the fire that there once was when I came to the Altar for the first time I want it to be that fire oh God that Jeremiah said it's like shut up in my I got to get it out Lord I got to live it Lord I got to let it manifest itself come on that's it come on that's it let let him feel you it's clothing tongues like as a fire and it's set up each of come on could you just begin to speak in that tongue right now come on as the spirit gives utterance come on that is your evidence against the enemy this week oh God I thank you for the Holy Ghost come on with your hands lifted to heaven let the Lord stir let the Lord move right now for another few moments oh God rekindle the fire in every father oh Lord stir the heart of every mother Lord I pray the fire of the Holy Ghost would rest upon every teacher Lord I pray that your spirit would move upon every individual oh God lord stir our hearts of our students tonight come on I'm I'm asking for something body the Lord's pulling on somebody don't miss the moment right now don't miss an altar right now I want your presence God I need your presence oh god oh we love your presence oh God lord we want to be a church that's on fire for your presence oh God Lord For Your Glory God for your glory god For Your Glory come on if you feel the presence of the Lord could you just clap your hands to him one more time Lord we thank you for your word Lord we
