Summary

Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.

Rahab's Report: The Enemy Is Afraid

  • He reads Rahab's word to the two spies: I know that the Lord has given you the land, and your terror is fallen upon us.
  • All the inhabitants of the land faint because of you; they heard how the Lord dried up the Red Sea and what he did to the two kings of the Amorites.
  • Her confession closes the reading: the Lord your God, he is God in heaven above and in earth beneath.
  • His announced subject: if they knew then what I know now.

Scriptures: Joshua 2:9-11

The Generation Fear Kept Out

  • The ten spies overstepped their errand: they were sent to inventory the land, but they reported, we be not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.
  • Fear made Israel see themselves as grasshoppers; the intimidation was size, walls and giants, but the downfall was presuming the enemy's confidence was greater than their own.
  • He reckons the cost of fear: a generation of funerals across forty years in the wilderness.
  • God's answer stands against the fear: your little ones, which you said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land.

Scriptures: Numbers 13:31; Numbers 14:31

What Made the Difference

  • The returning spies told Joshua everything, and their conclusion was new: truly the Lord has delivered into our hands all the land, for even all the inhabitants of the country do faint because of us.
  • The enemy had been afraid for forty years — of old victories at the Red Sea and of fresh victories over the kings on the other side of Jordan.
  • An old victory still intimidates the adversary: he has not gotten over some believers' repentance, baptism or deliverance.

Scriptures: Joshua 2:24

The Same God at the Jordan and at Jericho

  • When the nations west of Jordan heard the Lord had dried up the river, their courage melted away and they were paralyzed with fear — the same God who dried the Red Sea dried the Jordan.
  • Jericho's gates were kept tightly shut because the people were afraid of the Israelites: what looks like an obstruction is a display of the enemy's fear.
  • His charge to the students: do not be intimidated or paralyzed by fear — cross over and possess what God says is yours.

Scriptures: Joshua 5:1; Joshua 6:1

buy anything she said no i looked the kids i said it is indeed a good friday so we've had the first miracle of the good friday take place right here amen so too bad the rest of the day didn't go that way joshua chapter number two and verse number nine i want to read just a few verses of scripture here the bible says and she said and just kind of preface where we are this is uh the account of the two spies that joshua sent into the promised land and that were befriended by rahab and so when it says she said it is referring to rahab and she said unto the men i know that the lord hath given you the land and that your terror is fallen upon us and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you for we have heard how the lord dried up the water of the red sea for you and when you came out of egypt and what you did unto the two kings of the amorites that were on the other side of jordan shaihan and og whom he utterly destroyed and as soon as we had heard these things says our hearts did melt neither did there remain any more courage in any man because of you for the lord your god he is god in heaven above and in the earth beneath for a little while tonight i want to share this subject matter with you tonight if they knew then what i know now if they knew then what i know right now amen can we go to the lord in prayer that he would help us here in the next few moments father just center our lives around that word and the table of your word god and we would apply it to our lives where it's applicable god will not fail to thank you and praise you lord for what you accomplish in this place tonight in the name of jesus christ that i pray amen and amen the church say man amen you may be seated tonight the lovely name of the lord jesus christ this is not the first time in joshua chapter number two this is not the first time that spies had been spent or sent rather into the land of canaan 40 years earlier according to the record of scripture under the leadership of moses the number was 12 12 spies were sent into canaan by the instruction of the lord god and now instead of 12 there is simply two that have been sent by joshua who consequently joshua was one of the original 12 spies that 40 years or so earlier had been sent into the land of canaan the mantra had not changed but remained the same unchallenged from 40 years ago to this present moment and that mantra was this that the lord their god had given them this land this land that flowed with milk and honey this land that god said was theirs that was the promise 40 years earlier and that was the promise now the repetitive words from the men of god and even from god himself was to go forward and possess this promise in this land i cannot but wonder that perhaps joshua may have reminisced a little bit as he's occupying some familiar territory on the other side of the jordan staring at those waters one more time remembering the task that was given to him and the other 11 spies a generation earlier their orders had been very plain and very simple very directed they were to go in and see what the land was like they were to come back with reports about whether the land was fertile or whether it was infertile they were to tell the leadership and those of that day whether or not there were cities or villages all throughout the land of canaan they were to bring back report whether or not those cities or villages or towns whatever they may have been whether or not they were fortified or whether or not they were unwalled they they were to tell whether or not the land was rich or whether it was poor they they even were to take numbers if you will in inventory of the trees and and the fruits of the land and the crops of the land and bring back samples if available of the fruits and the crops in that hour their orders were playing they were simple they were to go forward and not just look at the land and the makeup of the land of the cities and towns and crops but they were also to consider the people and they were to give reports about what the people were like are are they strong people are they weak people are there many of them are there's just a handful of them moses even describes in deuteronomy that this wasn't a 40-day tour to determine whether or not they could take the land but it was a 40-day inventory if you will of gathering intel and knowledge about the cities and the people and the towns and the types amen that dwelt there it it was a tour 40 years earlier to discover the best route of entry into the land of canaan god had already settled the matter you're you're going to go in there it's yours to possess and you just go have spies go have them gather intel about the land and then you may be able to decide what is the best route into the land and so it gave them knowledge about the cities and towns and agriculture so that they would know what would be the best route into the land which city they should capture first or which one they would come upon as they crossed the jordan first and so the reports of all of those that came back of those 12 were very much so harmonious they all agreed that it was a fertile land indeed a land that flowed as the bible says with milk and honey as it would describe it it was a wonderful land a magnificent land and country amen two men even presented on the stick and we read it or a rod in the scriptures a single cluster of grapes hanging on a pole beside them surely everybody could visibly see that the fruit of the land that it was good just one look was enough to convince the people that it was a very good land other fruits such as pomegranates and figs were brought in nobody could discount the fact that this was a land that was rich the cities as the report was they are they are large they they are enormous and they are walled and they are well fortified and the people in the land they're powerful and they are strong and and the land is filled with warriors and and the land is powerfully uh built and defended and there's many men of great stature in the land there's there's some giants over there the sons of anakin are there this is a this is a great land there's some great people and all of these descriptions that the spies brought back were absolutely true to record that's exactly the type of information that they were asked to bring back and the type of information that should have been included in the report but had they stopped there everything would have been well had they stopped there no one would have raised a finger or thought any differently but the bible tells us that ten spies overstepped their place they said in numbers 13 and verse 31 they said that we be not able to go up against the people for they are stronger than we are note again they have overstepped their job description they have overstepped their purpose it wasn't their their their job description it wasn't their responsibility to determine whether or not they could go into the land or take the land it wasn't their job to determine whether or not they were able to go against the people amen but now they're saying we're not able to go against them for the people are stronger than us and what happened in that solitary moment is that fear struck the hearts no doubt of those ten and fear struck the hearts then as a result of the whole nation of israel they heard the reports and maybe some of them in the back of their mind thinks you know what we just need to go forward and take this land for god but whenever there were doubts and concerns and some of the ten that are speaking that we're not able to go up against them fear begin to breed among the minds of the ten and the minds of the nation the bible says they came to a conclusion that they said within themselves that we were as in our sight as grasshoppers and so we were in their sight fear grip the heart of the people can i tell you that even in the very midst of having heard the clarion call of god to possess the land there was a people now standing there with knees knocking heads bowed down fear infiltrating their hearts and their minds amen they're afraid they're scared they don't have the tenacity amen or with the vigor in order to go in the land in spite of joshua in spite of caleb those that were saying don't be afraid don't don't worry about what's being said don't be scared we can go in the land in spite of it all fear had come in great number and begin to intimidate the numbers of the children of israel they intimidated them with the size of the people fear came and intimidated them with the well-fortified walls that was around the cities they were intimidated by the giants there was fear perhaps amen that was being perceived about the unknown about things they didn't know about the land and they began no doubt to have doubts will we be successful if we go into this land will it turn out like god promised if we enter into this land can we truly take god at his word and possess this land like he said we could possess it someone say glory young people students i submit to you tonight that fear is and was a very debilitating factor then and it's a very debilitating factor one of the most debilitating emotions in the world even still yet today it was fear that kept adam and eve from the presence of god when they needed it the most it was fear that kept 22 000 warriors from serving their post in the army and in the war against the moabites under the guidance of gideon when he was wanting to depend upon them it was fear that kept them it was fear that kept the armies of israel cowering in their trenches every time that that great giant goliath came out to find the armies of god and taunting them they would go to their trenches fear caused them to do that it was fear that provoked the prophet elijah to request god why don't you just take my life he's in a solitary place in a cave why don't you just kill me lord it was fear that did that to him because he heard the words of jezebel i'm here to tell you tonight that if you allow it fear will creep into your life and it will cause you to second guess yourself even when you've been prepared for this moment and you've been prepared for this time and you've heard a voice from heaven ushering you to cross over fear will come and try to undermine your faith even when he who has called you is known to be faithful someone say amen fear will come down and grip your heart fear will try to incarcerate you here will try to immobilize you fear will try to terrorize you fear will keep some of you from trying because you fear frail your fear will keep some of you from serving because you feel like you can't do the unknown fear will close the mouth of some from witnessing for god because they fear rejection or dejection fear has bound many people amen to a rut because they felt inferior or intimidated or unable to escape this emotion someone say amen called fear fear was israel's enemy because of their fear they would have to turn back into the wilderness they saw their adversary as fierce they saw their adversary as a power not capable of being contended with and that may have been the case in certain degrees but more than anything here was their downfall they presumed they presumed that the confidence that their adversary had was greater than the confidence that they had they felt like their adversary was more capable than they were capable amen they were under the assumption that they were the only ones afraid someone said yes they were the only ones afraid they're bigger than us their cities are fortified if anybody has any room to be afraid it should be us we're the ones that's wandered around amen some of us been born in this wilderness amen and so the presumption all along with their fear cost them listen to me their fear cost them a whole generation of people the bible says from 20 years old and older for the next 40 years whenever those israelites first approached jordan the first time for the next 40 years they were going to be attending funeral after funeral because of fear someone say amen i'm just building a porch right now i'll get to the house in a minute we know from scripture that whenever the israelites left egypt let's just put it in context here that whenever the israelites left egypt the bible says there were hundred thousand men in the hebrew it's actually six hundred thousand warriors that's besides women that that's besides children and so if we just do a little simple math here let's look at the cost of fear if we take just the 600 000 men over a process of 40 years and you divide that that's 15 000 assuming all things equal that's 15 000 funerals per year 41 funerals a day or almost two deaths every hour if it wasn't enough to walk away imagine being a joshua or a caleb attending another funeral today oh this is dan or this is from the tribe of judah or this from over here every two hours a death taking place it's quite possible that there were some 40 year olds approaching the jordan this second time under joshua's leadership that had never known a day in their life when someone didn't die all of this is because of fear joshua and caleb no doubt there all along the journey paying their respects to every person that had lived in their generation and fear had done that because a nation overestimated the assurance and the confidence of their enemy someone say amen oh help me the story of the other 10 spies 40 years earlier is quite simple the bible says at the moment of their plea of saying we're not able to go on the land or take it the bible says that there came a plague and they were struck dead by the lord amen they were somehow instantaneously killed by the lord and this is the story of those ten this is really the story of the older generation that did not cross over fearing that they would die fearing that they would die by trying left them dead without even attempting in other words they would never have in their history well we tried and we failed all they would have is we never tried oh someone say glory moses had the former generation remain on the east side of the jordan while now joshua and the new generation are not going to stay on the other side of jordan but they are at this moment in history that they are going to go beyond the jordan but here's one thing we know joshua was there 40 years earlier with the one group but he's here 40 years later with the other group he's been on both sides of this scenario he has heard the words of the generation of ode and he's hearing the words of the generation of now amen he's been present in both instances he's around about 90 years old right now when he's leading the new generation across the jordan he was about 50 whenever the nation was filled with fear he was about 50 when 10 said we can't do what god said we could do when they were prohibited from seizing and conquering the land because of fear and in some form or another as joshua approaches the jordan for the second time that word begins to pop up that popped up 40 years earlier on the left hand on the right hand spoken here and there nearly 20 times in joshua comes the word possess it go in and possess it possess it the constant cry to him and the new generation is to not be afraid you hear it over and over again to joshua be courageous don't fear don't be afraid what are you doing god i know what happened 40 years ago i know how fear intimidated and caused a generation to be paralyzed on that side of the of the river 40 years ago so don't be afraid go in and possess it i know what the promise of god's how it seemed to fall on deaf ears a generation before someone say amen they were a generation of promise but i come to tell you that the promise that your parents had and your grandparents had he said that's your steal your same promise in this oh god well up here the holy ghost is starting to come down in here i'm asking somebody today what are you going to do with the same promise that was delivered to the generation that came before you look look look we might preach before it's over i'm sorry numbers 14 and verse 31 look at this this generation had a promise and god reassures he reassures this upcoming generation even when their parents were still alive he says in numbers 14 and verse 31 he says but your little ones he's speaking to the older generation he says but your little ones which ye said should be a prey you see how much fears got ahold of them they are so fearful not only did they think they couldn't make it they're already thinking they're youngins if i can say that down here in east tennessee their youngans would be prey the youngins couldn't make he said that which you said should be pray he says them he says them will i bring in and they shall know the land. which you despised someone say glory folks i'm asking the question today what was it that made the difference now two spies went in surveyed it now what made the difference now because i guarantee you surely the land was still as good as the land ever had been surely the walled cities amen and the fortification was just as strong if not stronger than it ever had been surely the people are still strong and surely they are still mighty and surely they are still great in number and surely the cities amen are marking all of the terrain hey man they had a promise from god like the generation before them but i asked this group of students what was it that made a difference now that these would cross over the jordan that these would go into the land of promise were they afraid surely they must have been or god would not have said over and over again be not afraid be courageous were they facing some of the same quote-unquote demons of the generation before them surely they were but what made the difference joshua sends two spies into the land and he said in verse nine of our text that when they got over there and rahab bent their ear and gave them intel she said unto the men i know that the lord hath given you the land look what she says that your terror is fallen upon us and that all the inhabitants of the land thinks because of you what's going on here what's changed what's the difference they know the land is still good they know the fruit is still good they know the walls are still fortified they know the people are still many but they learned something in this generation that they must not have known in the previous generation they heard from the voice of rahab i'm here to tell you we're just as much if not more afraid of you than you are of us i come on this friday night asking a group of young people and students don't be intimidated don't back down don't give up don't cower in the corner don't close the door on a closet you need to rise up you're being afraid of your adversary but your adversary is just afraid as you as you may be she says when we heard of you honey we fainted when we heard of you our knees begin to knock and we're over here thinking man they're big they're strong they're fortified my mom and dad said we couldn't take them and yet on the other side of the river are the enemies saying i hope they never come because they might take us all right you just drove me to work what those two spies learned from uh enemy inhabitant was invaluable to them they were faint the enemy because of the israelites watch it now look at verse number 10. i still got a little ways to go folks look at verse number 10 rahab says we have heard how the lord dried up the water of the red sea listen someone say that's old that's every bit of 40 year or older we've heard what god did back in your mommy and daddy's generation when you came out of egypt and what you did uh to the two kings of the amorites that were on the other side of jordan scion and og whom you utterly destroyed someone say that's newer and so what the voice of the enemy is saying in this moment we are faint and we are afraid not just because of the new things that you've all done but of the history of victories that god has secured oh someone say amen hold on see because they're recent successes they destroyed the cities and the towns of the kings they're of og and shihan amen and with those victories those new fresh victories they were not aware of it but every time they had that new victory they were striking fear into the hearts of their enemies they slaughtered all the inhabitants of those lands and that was making those on the other side of jordan in canaan afraid they were beginning to faint because they thought if they do that on that side of the jordan what might they do on this side of the jordan if they take the kings out on that side of the jordan what kind of mayhem will they do on this side of the jordan and so these cities listen to me here tonight folks these cities of the king of og and chihon you can read historically the bible in history tells us that those cities on the east side of jordan were well fortified cities they had high walls they had barred gates and the israelites conquered them and defeated them what was the first city they came to when they crossed jordan and they took a little happy day march jericho what's jericho known for its walls they say what three to five abreast of chariots to go around the top of the walls of jericho you don't think that caused the enemy to start scratching his head they took down fortified walls on the east side of jordan if they ever get a toe in over here many of our cities are fortified if they did it over there they can probably do it oh someone say amen but those are those are new victories everybody say new victories but those are new victories and new ventures for the children of israel but rahab reports to these spies that boys it's not just the new victories that god has troubled it's some of the old victories that god has troubled as well there's some 40-year-old victories in your descendants and your legacy that's got us troubled can i can i tell somebody you might look at and think man this past year brother mcgee i can't really say yeah that was victorious you know it was covered you know copenhagen's the problem of everything don't get your amazon packages because of colin you know the gas pump at the gas station doesn't work because cohen you understand what i'm saying you know the girl ditched you this past year because of coving and you might not feel like man i don't have i don't have any fresh victories i'm telling you if you even got a two or five-year-old victory or a ten-year-old victory we think it's got to be the yipi io yay of last year that's going to intimidate the adversary but there's some old victories in your life he's not gotten over yet i'll go as far to say this he hasn't gotten over some of us that we ever repented he hasn't gotten over the fact for some of us that we were ever baptized in the name of the lord jesus christ he's gotten over he's not gotten over the victory of some of us that we were pulled out of darkness and said in the marvelous light and our feet have been set on that street called straight he's not gotten over that yet that scares him that intimidates him that trouble there's some old victory yes amen amen be seated rehab towed their enemies we've been while you've been wandering in the wilderness and fearing the crossover we've been afraid and shaking ever since you crossed over the red sea let alone the jordan pharaoh's army drowned in the sea the same day we've been afraid someone said amen so joshua told israel joshua told israel they were going where they had never been this is what he told them before they crossed over he said we've not passed over here too for in other words we're going somewhere we've never been and children of israel part and parcel the reason why we've never been there is because we've always been too afraid to go but i got consolation for you as much as you are fearful for crossing over the enemy is fearful for you to cross someone say amen and so at that moment when those two spies heard those words from rahab they make their way back across the jordan and they go and they find joshua they understand that their parents was afraid to cross but now they have some new knowledge that the enemy was even 40 years ago afraid for them to cross and so as they come to joshua and he wants the report of everything that was said and done these two men came unto him and passed over and came to joshua you can read it in joshua 2 verse 23 the bible says they came and told him all things that befalled him and i doubt not that they told him something that he had heard before the cities are great they're fortified the fruit is wonderful it's the land that flows with milk and honey the people are large and seemingly in charge and all of this stuff is happening but then they get to verse 24 of joshua two and they said unto joshua truly the lord hath delivered into our hands all the land for even all the inhabitants of the country do think because of us and i can imagine joshua standing there in that moment had been there 40 years before and now was there 40 years later and could have been saying in his mind had they only knew what i know now they would have never hesitated to cross over if they knew what i know now that he's just afraid of us as we are sometimes of him if they knew then what i know now they would go over shouting they would go over high double koshaya they would they would go over dancing the victory and treading the ground trying to bring the information to you that maybe generations before you didn't realize he's afraid he is scared he is intimidated by a young person yet someone say amen remember you can be seated remember what god told the new generation and what he told the older generation i'm raising them up to take your father's place that you will be brought into a land and you will possess it now look at this this is god he tells them that you're going to cast out nations someone say nations nations we read in the old testament writ that they would cast out seven nations and this is the description of them these seven nations are greater than israel and mightier than israel but just as fearful they're greater than you they're mightier than you but they're just as fearful as you now you've got so here we go boys they're afraid we're afraid we're going to go forward with this thing we're going to cross this jordan the priest's feet hit the water it's going to split we're going to go over and as they hit that water and it begins to split and it stacks up on the red left hand and the right hand and the nation begins to walk across another dry riverbed something starts to stir in the mind of the adversary because they're still shook up whenever they went across a dry land that was wet before there's something that's stirring we were afraid when they crossed over the the red sea and now they're crossing over the river jordan what's happening right now looks close to akin of what happened this looks like an old victory recreated for a new genera somebody hear me this looks like an old victory recreated for a new generation i'm here to tell you folks god yes god still wants you to have the signs and the miracles and the wonders and the gifts of the spirit he wants to recreate an old victory in our genome yes he does this red sea matter we've not got over will you just wait till we cross over jordan because it's going to look very familiar to what happened 40 years ago and the bible says these words in joshua 5 and verse number 1 this is just from the living bible the verbiage of it is interesting that when the nations west of the jordan river heard that'd be rahab in that group when they heard that the lord had dried up the river jordan or the jordan river so the people of israel could cross their courage melted away completely and they were paralyzed with fear because the enemy was learning something with each new victory number one this god has power but more importantly this god is the same god no no no you know today you got to be progressive you got to be cutting edge you got to know i'm not against amen us lassoing these different things of mythologies to make our churches and our groups and so on so forth man that's what i'm not talking about but whenever we're wanting to lasso things that's outside of the precepts and the statutes of god's word that's you know it's in the margin brother mcgee when we're one of the last little things that's outside if you will the context of god's word i don't need any of that because if my god dried up the red sea and he dried up the jordan river then whatever stands in front of me in this generation if he chooses to do so he can dry up and it's a good testament to the adversary that that's the same god that moses had that's the same god that abraham and isaac and jacob had he changes not he knows not another there's none beside him his power is unequal his power is unparalleled and his powers my god his man i feel a holy ghost fit coming on someone's amen just just keep standing i don't know how much more i can do this so if they knew then josh was thinking of what i know now then we need to then we need to address the philosophical question that still yet permeates in our generation of folks what would you do or what would you attempt if you knew you couldn't fail i'm not removing the fact that fear isn't a factor because it's prevalent in our lives it rears its head all times but what if you knew the competition was equally if not more afraid as you are attempting what are you saying then i'm saying go on and grab that bible study chart and teach that home bible study go on and surrender that paycheck that you get from mcdonald's and chick-fil-a at the end of the week and pray pay gross amen your tithes to the church off of it go on and attempt reading through the word of the lord amen throughout a year somewhere along the way go on and deepen your worship experiencing god go on and invite those friends and those relatives that's already refused you before do it again don't be fearful don't be intimidated god is fighting for you i said god is fighting for you please but let let's kind of you know expose the thought processes of us and sometimes of the enemy here let me say this well remember god's forming i feel fear oh bless god hallelujah this all god thing and he's with us and for us and why don't he just smack open the door so we can walk through glory hallelujah so we're wanting victories without facing any fear without feeling any resistance or obstruction right i just told our church the other week you know we live in the generation that people want forgiveness without repentance because you just clear the path make the road as bright as we can broad as it can be and we all just walk through glory be to jesus but we do the same things in our battles we don't really want to fight we just want to walk to the victory flag because brother hammond if it gets hard count me out if you're talking about sacrifice i don't even know that it's not in my vocabulary listen to me joshua 6-1 i'm closing i really am i'm so sorry the living bible once again the bible said concerning that city of jericho that would be the first one they would come to in the land of canaan the bible says the gates of jericho were kept this is the living bible we're kept tightly shut everybody say because because the people were afraid of the israelis no one was allowed to go in or out what i'm saying is this what we are viewing sometimes as a closed door an obstruction opposition to what god said we could have it's like man they got bars and gates on this thing god you said this is this thing's not even open it's not so much opening not opening because of a obstruction so much so to you as much as it is the enemy's behind it he's not so much fighting against you as not wanting you to penetrate the fortress he's a what looks like an obstruction to you is really a display of his fear of it's really a display of his fear of you the will of god always when they left egypt and you know this your great bible scholars and christian school god's purpose was always not just to bring his people out but to bring them in and i'm looking to the eyes of students tonight i'm telling you as as what will be a 43 year old man this year don't be intimidated don't be fearful to the level of not attempting don't allow it to paralyze you and stymie you and immobilize you and keep you in a holding pattern right where you are don't allow your assumption of the tenacity and the confidence of your enemy to keep you from possessing what your god says is yours if we could listen to the voice of joshua who had been in both generations he wants you to know something right now that he didn't know then and he wants you to be victorious with that knowledge and so i'm crying out i don't care how old or how young you are tonight i'm crying out to a group of students here this evening that society and the world and the upheaval everything that's taken place has done nothing but brought fear and has promoted fear and has escalated fear in your lives to the place it's almost just made you paralyzed in the things that you would do for god but pastor mcgee has come here tonight to tell you you are fearful and perhaps rightfully so but you have an adversary on the opposite side of the river that's just as much if not more afraid of what you might do so what are we going to do tonight shall we cross over should shall we just tread the ground in the wilderness for 40 years should we attend another funeral or will somebody whoa say though the arrow may fly by day and the terror come by night i shall not be afraid i shall fear no evil for the lord is with me is there a young person in this place tonight that will go forward and possess it will they take the knowledge of previous generations and realize you're terrorizing the enemy's camp your career come on somebody needs to shout while they cross over somebody needs to lift up their voice there's some old victories new victories that's traveling let's pray out to god right now take preparation somebody needs to possess it tonight come on come on if it's appropriate grab a neighbor's hand lift it up to god we're not doing this by ourselves we're doing this together we shall cross over we are victorious we will trample the crown we will be strong in the lord and in the power of his might somebody cross over tonight
