Boom Revival

you have your Bible let's dig them out we're gonna some of y'all some of y'all are still with me right all right we are going to finish tonight uh month of June accelerate boom Revival Revival happens when when Revival is almost uh I hesitate to say but sometimes I think uh many of us wish and hope for a Perpetual just continuing atmosphere and attitude of revivals anybody wish that that would happen anybody at all that would be an incredibly challenging momentum agreed uh and the only reason I'm saying that is because I'm not saying I don't want continuous Revival what I'm saying is those there are seasons we've discovered there are seasons where things happen very quickly and and it just boom explosion people are getting hold of those stuff's hat but then there's a season of growth then there's a season of the leaves fall off if you will then the the quietness and the peacefulness of of the winter time if you will on and on as we have looked over the last several weeks uh we've talked about the the the cost of Revival we why revival is important our part of the Revival I do believe that in the last days saith the Lord he will pour out of his spirit upon a few people now what the Bible says what's it say how is that even possible that all flesh All Flesh anybody have an explanation of that survival Theologian in here that would say our studied that and this is what it means All Flesh Joel of course was got a real short Old Testament account talked about prophetic things that would happen it even goes as far as the talking details old men young men servants handmaids you know that particular things would happen with the demographics or the the connectedness of those groups of people and then of course we attribute to the day of Pentecost when the prophecy of Joel was mentioned and this is that was prophesied talked about this outpouring is exactly what Joel spoke of so the question then again comes back if that is what Joel prophesied about and does that mean that it ended then they probably considered to be in the last days maybe I do know that that a lot of Bible studies a lot of theologians if you will will look at that and the reason for an example side note here quickly the reason that um they sold Goods they brought gave to the apostles the apostles distributed those who had need and they they just knew that Jesus was gone but was going to turn just come right back you know this is going to be short short thing here but here we are 2023 and we are still everybody say it praying for Revival as we have looked at some Concepts and precepts of Revival um I believe that God's desire for the church is to have Revival is that okay a move a supernatural infusion if you will of the spirit of God I have discovered in my particular life personally it's the only one that I have to refer to because it's the only one that I've lived thus far that there are all kinds of people that God puts into a family now I have a sister that's older than me and I have two older brothers then there's me and then I'm my younger brother we're all very different we may share the same last name and and so forth but my one brother's blonde hair and my other brother looks like my dad and then my assistant you know we're all different and distinct how many understand that Concept in your family huh um the the truth of that also brings it into the church in that all of us have our gifts and callings we all have our strengths and our weaknesses believe it or not as perfect as some might feel they are they aren't um the fact is God has put us in the family here at Cornerstone Apostolic Church part of the Church of this hour God has put us here for a reason amen and I want you to know that there is value in your walk with God you coming to church sitting on the chair lifting your hands playing an instrument teaching a class doing what you do in whatever stage of life that is you need to understand something God is using you for that now I have noticed as a pastor missionary before on another field that there are some people that God allows to become part of ministry part of the family that are 100 percent as a leader they are 100 percent connected to you as a pastor man they're they're they're they're they're wanting to do their part they feel the burden they get up under it they lift it and they run with it okay and then there are others that and I'll say it they kind of drag their feet in some ways or they don't get it or they don't they don't feel it as much as you feel it I felt in in closing out this series of lessons on Revival this is this is what I feel in the Lord for us before I begin this lesson tonight I want to make sure that everybody in here and anybody watching online understands that I love you I'm not throwing hammers I'm not mad I'm not calling anybody out invariably when a pastor has to get up and teach and Pastor sometimes people can feel little Crossways there wow he's he's calling me out or saying that's not it's not the case everybody understand I'm doing this in love tonight I want us to have Revival I want us as a church to have Revival there's a letter written to Timothy second Timothy chapter 2. verse number 19 says this nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure having this seal the Lord knoweth them that are his and let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity you with me verse 20 but in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver but also of wood and of Earth some to honor some to dishonor for man therefore Purge himself from these he shall be a vessel unto honor Sanctified and meet for the Master's use and prepared and every good work everybody say honor everybody say dishonor the Lord knows his followers aren't you glad come on he even mentions in several Jesus mentions in several accounts how that that the Sheep his sheep know his voice just the mere voice they move upon that and because followers of Jesus at whatever level however long you've known it they if you understand the principle of receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost and repenting of your sins and being born again you understand that you are no longer number one but you pulled yourself off of your own throne and you begin to calm down and say Lord I want you to increase so that I can decrease and get out of the way the fact is is that if if you are going to be useful in the kingdom of God you then have to decide how much you are willing to invest of your time your talent your treasure and your testimony we're okay with that now here's the thing this is what Timothy received he said Timothy there are vessels in a house everybody understands what vessels are it could be a jar a glass it could be a bowl something that holds something are there vessels here tonight in this room spiritually speaking certainly that's us but he also the letter wants for Timothy to understand there are a couple of types of vessels there are some vessels in the house that bring honor to the house in the same house though there are other vessels that bring dishonor doesn't say they bring less Honor doesn't say they bring something that's lacking from the honor guys or the honor vessels but it's actually labeled as dishonor he goes on to say there are gold vessels there are silver vessels those are the ones that bring honor to the table a passity of a gold silver wood or Earth and vessel could be the same it holds a court it holds a gallon it holds a cup whatever it is but according to the way that Timothy is receiving this letter the understanding is listen carefully not everybody in the house is going to bring honor to the house the capacity might be there but some are not going to understand their purpose some are going to try to work outside of their purpose listen carefully some are going to be able to hold things and could actually be set as a as a utensil as something useful on the table but the truth is is they're not bringing honor to the house in which they represent now you and I we live in 2023. you guys recognize that you can go now to the store it's a store here in town there's there's several but this one's called Sam's Wholesale and that said store you can buy eating plates and bowls you can buy utensils there and my my wife and I at my daughter's wedding we went and bought gold ones we was all of that in a box of Cracker Jack just had to open it gold utensils huh well nobody want to see white plastic from KFC at the wedding reception or no no no no no no no sorry sporks there's a KFC right because you got mashed potatoes and green beans right no no we went and bought gold plastic gold right the plates they weren't paper come on they weren't styrofoam they were actual plastic with a gold ring to match the gold utensils funniest thing about that is at the end of the night guess where those ended up in the trash listen carefully not all vessels are what they appear they may have been gold in color and finish but they were ready to be thrown away after their use some will actually listen to me some vessels according to this story that's in second Timothy some vessels in a house can actually bring dishonor and can actually destroy and make a mess if they're not used or dealt with properly have you ever had one of those really really cool looking clay vessels you know it's made out of mud and you put something in it and then you make a mistake and put it in the microwave and it demonstrates how it's made by fish and your chicken noodle soup gets all in the bottom of the everybody understand anybody listen to me listen to me the greatest challenge for a pastor and for leadership in this age is to understand the vessels that are in Us in the church in his responsibility and as much as he wants all of them to be gold and silver and bring honor to the house not all will and that's the greatest challenge if you're a leader in this church of over a department or you're you're responsible for a group of people it's the same frustration you face I would to God that everybody at Cornerstone was perfectly 100 percent gold or silver bringing honor to the things of God but I understand by this letter that in a house there are some that are gold silver wood and Earth honor and dishonor I want to use everybody understand that's why we do discipleship training that's why we have opportunities everything from parking cars and making sure they don't kill nobody to they may notice since we moved into this facility that parking has gotten easier I mean we've got a Parkway over there or way back there but we don't have to contend with other Church Parkers Halloween okay it takes somebody to park to help that it's got somebody's got to unlock doors someone's got to clean someone's got to straighten chair someone's got to make sure the kitchen knew and all of the things but aside from that just grunt work there are some if you will that want to attach themselves to a church but they have no desire to influence positively the forward motion of the church and I can I can explain this to you very simply again this is my said from the outset I told Brother Gibson a couple weeks ago and he taught you better be careful with this book it's very strong very forward listen to me carefully I have to watch what I say as Pastor because if I offend you you can get upset and walk out and go somewhere else and Worship the Lord and you could probably justify and qualify what you just did he just didn't know my talents he didn't understand who I was I'm learning as I get longer and further into Ministry and pastoring that not everybody in the house is bringing honor in fact I'm discovering the more and more that I pastor and the older and older I get and the less and less patient I become that there's a lot of some that will suck the life out of you because they're an earth and vessel and they're simply pulling the moisture into itself they're not bringing honor to the Lord to the to the house because they don't understand their purpose yet now please understand I have learned in Ministry that everybody can do something you agree I've also learned in Ministry that some people that the Lord has allowed me to come in contact with in my Ministry personally they have been incredible pieces of scaffolding that the Lord knew that I needed at a moment for a particular task and then they for whatever reason they didn't last they went elsewhere when we were building the church on I go Gap the Lord knew the challenges somebody came along that was more than willing to help they jumped in man it was minutes almost and done it would have taken me months probably and I stood back and I looked and I said Lord why is this and the Lord said because that's what you needed for the season everybody in here understands that principle but nobody wants to be that person I want Revival and I know that it cost and I know the Lord has given me some vision and Direction on that and some of you have 100 percent got up under the load and I can feel the prayers you pray and I can see God blessing your life and your ministry and yet some want to know why how come to what end why what for shouldn't we discuss it longer and all the while there's nothing wrong with questions is there there's nothing wrong with asking why but when it becomes more of the challenge than in my Ministry my wife and I have this conversation almost every week can I share pastor's heart for a minute sweetheart where was so and so today I don't know maybe they hadn't been there for a couple weeks now I don't know didn't didn't so and somebody say they were going to do this and I thought so well we'll take care of it we'll go tomorrow I guess and finish it stay with me I told you from the outside I love you and I'm reaching Jesus said listen to what he says in Matthew Chapter 5 this is such an important verse for us Matthew 5 and 16. is it up here is it in Red Letters would y'all read out loud with me you ready let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your father which is in heaven whose light who that you like you liked before men they will see you good works and then Glory goes to God that's you so I'm learning in Ministry of course as pastoring I'm learning Lord I appreciate the goodness and the things and the blessings and all of that and and the Lord is allowing Seasons to pass and growth and and and decline in growth and decline I mean I am thrilled to death we have crossed over the last eight nine months a hundred people on Sundays we're now averaging about 110 to 112 pretty steady I I knew that would have come sooner or later because if you consistently move forward God God will it's not me it's not you it's us and it's his church is that okay but this is what I've noticed in doing so I'm having to turn loose to some things and I'm having to focus on other things that I used to used to have now I want a there's but now I'm having to say I don't know hang on to me what you're doing is is you are making works and what people are going to see is what you're doing as far as a work for God if listen carefully if you are waiting for my wife or for me or for your departmental leader whatever to come up and hug you and squeeze you and and kiss you and say you're the best thing that's ever happened since spreadable cheese out of a can or whatever you're probably not going to hear that but when they see good works that you're doing guess what they're going to do God must be working in you why are you different the spirit of God's working in you Stay With Me Jesus said you let that light shine men are going to see it and then they're going to give glory to God for it the problems that come up many times with humanity is simply this has anybody ever heard of bitterness and jealousy and pride well I wish that those words weren't in the church but because they're inhumanity they're in the church the pride thing now is there anything wrong with pride well that's a stuck question everybody's pause well it depends on what kind of pride good holy Pride there you go you know I'm proud of my kids an example that all right I'm proud of of you and your accomplishment how's that but if I lift up myself in the midst of that that then becomes Pride that brings with it what jealousy what brings jealousy they begin to take a route and it be when jealousy could listen to me when jealousy sets in that means you who once were perhaps a vessel of gold or silver that brought honor when you begin to be jealous and and upset over the wooden vessel because it's on a higher shelf or on a different place listen what happens then is the the Master of the House pulls this one back and pushes this one forward and then it becomes a root of bitterness and when bitterness sets in justify qualify sanctify every thought decision and idea but bitterness has planted itself and your actions at that point become water and fertilizer for that well the only reason I'm going is because I feel like I have to if I can just show up then there I just there and the whole while I've said this a million times from this Pulpit from the one on Cromwell to the one at Metro to the one okay here's what I figured out if you're here because you feel like you ought to I need you here you're wrong I'll never be able to repay you for what you do but man when you're laying in a hospital bedding Angel of the Lord comes and bends over your hospital bed and breathes into your ear a healing touch you know it's because good works have happened in your life and Glory's coming to God and he's seeing you where you are you won't get it back in a 20 Bill most likely but you'll get it back maybe through your great great grandkids God is faithful I want to read to you out of the Book of Mark now I'm going to read a whole stack of scriptures here for tonight's I'm okay I'm at 7 41. I've got a clock right here all right Mark chapter 8. verse one in those days the multitude being very great everybody say a big group had nothing to eat Jesus called his disciples to him saith unto them I have compassion on the multitude they've now been with me three days have nothing to eat if I send them away fasting to their own houses they will faint by the way for divers of them came from Far verse 4 and the disciples answered him from which can we can a man satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness and he asked them how many loaves have you and they said seven he commanded the people to sit down on the ground he took the seven loaves gave thanks break gave to his disciples to set before them they did eat they did set them before the people and they had a few small fishes and he blessed and commanded to sit also before them and they did eat and were filled and took up the broken meat that was left seven baskets day that had eaten or about four thousand and he sent them away verse 10 listen to this straight way he entered into a ship with his disciples and came to the parts of Dallas methua the Pharisees came forth and began to question with him seeking of him a sign from Heaven tempting him he sighed deeply in his spirit and Seth why does this generation seek after a sign verily I say unto you there shall no sign be given unto this generation he left them entering into the ship again departed to the other side now the disciples had forgotten to take bread and neither had they in the ship with them more than one loaf and 15 says he charged them saying take heed but Beware of the leaven the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod they reason among themselves saying it is because we have no bread Jesus knew it he saith unto them why reason he because you have no bread perceive you not yet neither understand have ye your heart yet hardened having eyes see you're not having ears dare you not do you not remember when I break the Five Loaves among five thousand how many baskets full of fragments took you up they said to m12. it went to seven among four thousand how many baskets full of fragments took you up they said seven he said unto them how is it don't understand Jesus in in the in the account that Mark is giving here Jesus said these these folk have been here for three days I can't send them away now they'll they'll faint I mean they'll belly ate complain everybody understand bellyaching and complaining okay we'll call it murmuring that's the Biblical word and they'll faint they'll fall out they'll they'll never come again whatever whatever it was and what do you got here there so we got some bread he said bring it he blessed and all right now go feed them there's some fear okay go feed them they got up they left they're all satisfied not only did they receive of the meal but they received teaching and instruction for some three days from Jesus now this group of disciples followers of Jesus they're they're they're looking at him and they're saying we've we've come into this boat if we didn't bring Brad I ain't got no bread I got one piece of bread I want to say one love we go starve all right what's your saying Jesus says wait a minute let me ask you something four thousand eight how many baskets did you take up left scraps extra wow well there was some some seven baskets you remember the ones that sat down with the Loaves and fish and fed them five thousand how many baskets to extra leftovers that you have that well we we had 12 then there's 11 that gets into the bread and it affects everything that it touches now they thought like you and I probably would have Jesus is mad because we didn't bring bread and he's gonna have to bless more bread he'd done blessed all the bread why we got to bless more bread Jesus now how many believe Jesus could have blessed the one piece of bread why certainly the bread was not the problem the problem was listen the problem was very simple everybody ate everyone feasted but at the time when they didn't know what else to do Jesus looks at them and says you better be careful of what you're looking for in the bread the Pharisees you remember talking about them the other yeah the Pharisees are the ones that want to be religious they want to understand things but all they're doing is following law and they're not Abiding and understanding and loving the power of Jesus what he can actually do in their lives you be careful of that leaven of the Pharisees and they're standing there going man he's upset because we don't have bread no the reason he was upset is because he had already demonstrated to them his miraculous power over just to pieces of bread and some fish it wasn't a snack it wasn't a nibble they ate everybody was satisfied and they had leftovers what Jesus was concerned with is their inability listen to be in the presence of Jesus in the midst of miracles in the midst of what Jesus could do and to still stand there with the audacity and to say we ain't got no bread Jesus says I've already demonstrated to you what you're looking for is the what the Pharisees are looking for instead of understanding Jesus can take anything and make anything out of it he made you elbow your neighbors him listen to me the problem is is we want to understand it as humans now I'm again I love you I love you and I'm trying to help us tonight there's there's a problem that that is that is rampant in families and homes and jobs and careers in the marketplace on the internet off the internet in the White House in the dark house in the whatever house okay there's situations going on I can tell you number one is trust is an issue trust is an issue huh I say this all the time when you go buy something at the store what's the first thing you ask them for is you're walking away I need my receipt why because I'm probably going to bring it back huh why now what kind of warrants he got on this thing you know they even sell warranties boy I don't understand that at all sir your car's got 90 cup of jillion miles that's 42 years old we want to sell you extended warranty nobody else get those phone calls I wish I I want to buy one I just want to go through that whole thing and they say yeah never mind just to see how far it'd go you know I drive a 41 DeSoto I can't get parts anywhere you'll cover it anyway here's the thing Trust what's the second one control if we can't control the situation we feel like we don't deserve to be a part of it we want to know this to that and everything in between so that we can control it because if we can control it from the start to the finish that means that we understand every step every obstacle Every Mountain every Hill every Valley and every pothole in the place I'll ask it this way may I when's the last time you ever ever ever ever ever ever walked on streets of gold come on anybody I'm waiting I'm I'm here online listen to call in tell me nobody has well here's the question the scripture is very specific I has not seen ear has not heard but you want to go there and you want to control it from this point to this point and all the while Jesus is saying hold on a minute you ain't controlled nothing to this point the health in your body you don't deserve but I've healed you a million times and you never knew it the job that you work you don't deserve it but I've given it to you and I've blessed you abundantly the wife the kids the husband the spouse whatever it is you don't you don't know you do what you deserve because of your investment in yourself as a child growing up as you deserve to be behind bars in jail but I kept you out of it I protected you I have provided for you come on just this past week I was once again reminded of the grace of God I should have been run over by the truck but I wasn't I don't know how it didn't happen I knew in my mind this is it for when it didn't I'm like good God you're good again yeah you have demonstrated one more time here's the problem what Jesus had done he simply said these guys have been listening to me for three days and they're hungry what do you have I got I got bread I'm gonna bless it we're going to feed them got five thousand I'm gonna bless it you're gonna feed them and now you're upset because you don't understand that you only got one piece of bread you don't think I can bless that bread not only that the very second that you thought in your mind Jesus is going to leave us he's not going to take care of us he's mad at us because he taught us about bread and we didn't learn the lesson Jesus say no no Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees that thought's getting in your mind I've said this a million times and I've had to repent a million and one God helps those who help themselves friend of mine there's a lot most things that I do in life I couldn't help myself if I wanted to but the grace of God comes in and breathes life I get the gumption to stand up and say God if you're for me who can be against me and I step out on faith to say I know it's foolish and I know that I don't understand the end from the beginning but I know my God is telling me to do this or do this or go here or go there I can give you so many so many personal examples of what God has done in my particular life and how God opened doors and made a way when he shouldn't have I didn't know how everything from going to the mission field selling everything we had selling our house cars furniture clothes and we'd go out the door with suitcases in hand I'm not pinning it but I'm saying I'm simply telling you that in the works that we've done God's getting Glory because by faith I said I don't know what else to do when knowing her Grandpa says you can't go to a mission field there's people here that need saved and my lovely wife simply says then you go save them we're going to do what God told us to do Now you listen to me again I'm not pinning any buttons anywhere I'm telling you this though that if you understand Revival is going to come to those who know their place in the house of God and they bring honor unto him when I truly understand that not everybody that sits on these chairs is going to support the things of God some are learning lessons some are tripping and falling some are jumping up saying I got it finally I got it and they're advancing in the Kingdom why because God knows what Revival costs come on in one second the Lord God could step in to Chattanooga and he could breathe into our church and a million Souls would come flocking to this building do you agree how fair would that be to that one that's out there struggling just to get one Bible study taught come on we're we I understand you go to General Conference and you sit out in a crowd of 20 000 and they put the ones up there that are having great Revival and I've often said well to ask me hello um what had happened is uh um and then they wouldn't and then we um and we didn't have anybody and then um you know amen walk away and everybody looking at me like oh I'm sorry I missed the cue didn't I hello oh right when you always do shout right that's what drawn tells the worshiper just just worship we don't know the lyrics listen carefully let's carefully I I told when I started studying this on the lesson I said Lord I I got to understand this and the Lord is so gracious kind Raymond not everybody supports it it's just you don't know who does and doesn't you know there were there was wheat that was planted anybody remember this parable parably and the enemy come in at night and did what so what weeds tears when they figured it out hey somebody has come thither and they have planted interacted with this good stuff bad stuff the master says what leave it alone let them grow let them grow wait a minute what do you mean they're taking the same water Sun nutrients work and labor so what's fair about that I'll tell you what's fair at the end the distinguishment will be for the master to decide you can't eat tears but you can eat wheat what's it going to do with the wheat Harvest it put it away what's it going to do with the tears wrap them and burn them in fire you and I tonight it's almost eight o'clock you and I tonight we are this generation living in this city doing the things of God the frustration that comes for Desiring and wanting Revival more than anything comes with a price see if I could fabricate Revival I could probably come up with the a b c d you know and this will follow their steps and it'll happen there there's the formula but I don't know what your doing and you could say the same about me yeah we don't know what you're doing and then it becomes the old proverb of this goat standing here and this goat standing here and the path is this wide and they're trying to push against each other and the fact Still Remains if we're going to have end time Revival that is going to come through God's plan anybody disagree with that and if it is God's plan God's way says I have order in the Kingdom and I'm going to bless the order well what if we sacrifice and we do this he's fine do it but obedience is if you'll obey it's better it's greater it's bigger than the sacrifice you feel like you're making now here's the question and again I I have no shots to fire I have no rocks to sling I don't have anything like that I'm simply asking you this what if I'm in the way of Revival because I don't believe I don't have faith I'm not doing my part huh some of you may say yeah there it is that's the problem right there okay fine then you stand up and you say what if I'm the problem and I'm not doing my part who's going to win who the world's going to go to hell we're going to be standing here saying I did mine did you do yours you do yours I did mine and the whole fact of the matter is simply this listen carefully God put order in the church every letter in the New Testament was written to help the preacher to help the saint that's why Paul wrote the letters that's why Peter that's why these guys that's why Timothy's got got this letter that he shared and now it's put in the word he's got two of them that's why Titus got this letter and he shared it that's why Jude got a few paragraphs shared it why because the order is God calls a man to go to a city to put a church and then God begins to people come and plug in and and the man I'm using that as the singular sword that man has a vision and a desire from God and God say now there's going to be vessels come into the church and it's going to grow but not all vessels are vessels of Honor some are going to come into the house simply to bring dishonor to it I have stood at this podium in the various places where we've been I have stood on the floor in the sanctuary and somebody come in and all they want to do is so Discord and the spirit of God's quickened me to stop it and I've turned and looked at straight knee high I said you're not doing that here nobody else said anything but God quickened me to say something why because that's my responsibility and I'll face down any devil in hell and I'll beat the stew out of him in Jesus name he's not getting them I face the devil many times trying to take my wife and my kids you ain't doing it devil you didn't give them to me you're not taking them from me and as pastor of this church I want Revival and I want every one of us in this I want every one of you to be a vessel of Honor but some of you I know by this by the line of teaching you're not a hundred percent in how do I know pastor and I'm wheels are down I'm not Landing yet but wheels are out how do I know a couple ways you you do this inventory this is you do I believe in the vision do I support my pastor or do I belly ache and complain about it do I dread going to church or do I look forward to going and connecting with the body how do I talk about the pastor in front of the kids do my kids know that all the negative about him or do do they only know do they only know the negative or do they know the positive can I continue how many bad mouth the pastor's wife is family listen I'm telling you I'm telling you fruit will show come on I'm not lifted up I'm not above everybody I'm simply got a place that God has called and put me in and I have to understand the family and with love and compassion I have to reach and I've read this art or this article the other days it was an article one of the old-timers if pastors could stop wasting time chasing down the problem children and simply look for the ones that are not every Church would be full there's a world out there that wants to be in the presence of God so many times vessels of Dishonor are sucking up time and talent I'm having to just to get it in its right place and all the while somebody out in the world is saying I wish I had hope tonight I wish somebody had a word for me it doesn't have to come for me we just saw it here what your works you if you really believed 100 what pastor says or what the word of God says about the pastor and his family if you truly understood that then you'd be the first one out there saying you need to come to my church I'm convinced that in any church family anybody that many times we may not bring people because we're not sure how we feel about it I've had two opportunities and I'm done brother John would you come I've had two opportunities in my life to allow somebody to come into my family and that was when Stephen wanted to marry Brittany and that's when Sam wanted to marry Lauren I had a decision to make anybody understand this decision so I had some investigating to do I put on my Shield of suspect oh a gift of Suspicion I activate it instantly Stephen you don't want her now she now you know she's not the one my radar is going off and I'm blipping out there and I'm like wait a minute I'm listening and discover come on herb you're about to go through this 35 times at your house bill huh don't be one of those that opens the door said you gone don't be that one and so they they wanted to get married Steven and Brittany did guess who was one of the first ones I asked about her I asked brother McCool Hey Brother McCool what can you tell me about her man Jesus sweetest and here he went she's got a spirit wants to love the Lord and serve him she is in the altar she's on the platform anything I ask of her guess what I felt at that point I didn't ask her mom and dad I didn't care well I did but I didn't pastor and then when Stephen's dead of I've asked her to marry me Sunday you know where do you yeah I said well buddy I went and talked to her pastor he said yeah I figured you would what'd he say good choice and then after they marry and they get a house you know all the family eat stuff and they're about to have a child and all this is what my son now says a married mom doesn't I said what Dad should drive me crazy she's got a calendar she's got this she knows this she's got organized this and this it's Mom I don't even know what to do the phone RAM when I had this mommy's just like Mom it's just like Mom my wife quietly sits there with her fake humility and goes yes Listen to listen to it I had to do a little homework how to let that one in the family then this big old tall lanky guy comes to me year half or so ago two years whatever and he says I have a brisket for you beef brisket 13 pounds I said you're in priorities I was trying to tell him no Tim and I kept looking at that brisket going he'll probably take it back if I say no listen to me that's family and that's how I a lot more than that prayed like I've told y'all a thousand times we pray for our children spouses when we they were in the womb we prayed over them God whoever they marry let them love you and serve you now there's no guarantees agreed life happens things can happen but I'll tell you this and the family I wanted to make sure I did everything I could do that's my family y'all are my family now who would I be to come and question you about a thousand things or a thousand stupid thoughts you had or dumb ideas or mistakes or whatever who would I be so what I have to do then as pastor of the Church of this family is I have to trust the one that allows them to become part of the family and that's Jesus so when I go to the Lord I said Lord there's some things going on I'm not sure that I understand the Lord's saying you hang on it's going to be okay but Lord it doesn't feel right it doesn't look right does It Whatever the Lord said I know I know but my grace sufficient hold on it's going to be okay Lord I don't understand how this is where they're causing this issue whatever the Lord said I know I know but they had a great great grandmother that prayed prayers for them and I'm answering them but Lord why am I the recipient you better be glad you are because the other option is this hell is in a building program making all the space it can for anybody who'll walk away I close with this it's nine minutes after eight I want Revival in the house there's honor and dishonor I may not know how to discern between that but I do know this a vessel will show itself in its use there's gold silver there's wood there's Earth not everybody sitting beside you is bringing honor to God I have to pray daily Lord help the church to have discernment because there are some that are sucking the life out of them and if they continue to walk after them they're going to fall they're going to be pulled away God don't let them do that so what has to happen is they have to stumble they have to fall and all the while God's saying I've got them I've got them but I've got to do a work in them before they can do a work for me again as Pastor I want more than anything for everybody that comes through the door to raise hands and go running into heaven but not everybody will so this is my request to you first of all when you pray God let us have Revival would you pray that when you pray second Lord I pray that my pastor will know what to do when Revival comes and then you have to decide who's your pastor if you don't allow me to speak into your life and you're listening to other voices I'm not your pastor in fact I have been consoled and comforted over the last few years by that idea if you're not letting me speak into your life then I'm not pastoring you I'm not responsible for you you know how it works look that's how it works oh God I want them saved God I want him to walk in joy God I want their mind healed I want their bodies healed God I want them delivered from that I want them to shake it loose but lord I can't pour it into him I can't snatch him out of it I can't get them I cannot get them to the bread they're going to have to come when you call them the old-timer said it come and dine the master call us come and dine would you stand with me it's 8 15 I'm finishing started the session tonight with simply this I love you and I believe in you I do I want you to go to heaven I do but I can't force you there I can't push you I can't pick you up and carry you the Lord has given me a task my wife has a task a pastor to help to encourage to preach to teach to do the lead to give vision and Direction and guidance I want everybody to be a vessel of Honor but I don't call that shot so I'm gonna ask you tonight would you spend a few minutes on this Wednesday night with some soul searching I don't come with condemnation I don't come with conviction on them I don't come pointing fingers I'm simply telling you if you're going to be successful in the kingdom of God you've got to do it his way would you come this altars open I invite you I invite you to be honest with yourself you don't have to beat yourself up you don't have to you know you just simply Lord I want it to be right I want it to be right come on it's prayer time come on any chance you can get honest with yourself and honest with God and simply love him and praise and bless his name in spite of it all or because of it all or in the midst of it all come on Lord I I believe in you I believe in the church I believe in end time Revival at our church I know God Revival will happen in your time your season I know God growth will happen in your season in your time I simply want to make myself available to you Jesus available Lord God to the leadership that you put in my life submitted Lord to the wheel and the plan that you have put into him and to her and to them and help me God to do my part help me Lord to follow after you Revival comes with a cost Lord I I've got a decrease in this and you've got to increase in this Lord for us to have true Apostolic identity they're going to see Good Works that are done and glorify your name through it come on somebody get honest with yourself if you're not submitted to God's working and plan for your life get there Lord I've got to submit to that I've got to commit to your ways Jesus I want to be in the family bringing honor to you Lord I want to to be a vessel Lord that's used to honor you and to love you come on lift your voice to the Lord lift your heart to him tonight that's right lift your voice to him Jesus I Believe In You Lord and I trust in you I trust in you Jesus I want to be what you want me to be come on pray come on with your prey come on would you pray tonight Jesus Jesus have mercy on me tonight help me oh God Lord I want Revival in our church and our city and our community I want Revival Lord God in my family fam I want Revival God I pray for it Lord let it explosive Apostolic intervention happened Lord in our community Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus worthy God Worthy is your name Lord worthy wonderful wonderful wonderful Jesus come on that's right Revival will happen we simply have to submit to what God's doing come on we got to give ourselves to the things of God love you Lord I believe in you Jesus I bless family of God I thank you for the church family thank you Lord for every individual every home that's represented in this room those watching online those at home those on vacation those out of town those sick God I pray for them we all are but human Lord we have human fallacies mistakes things we can do God we we're growing and we're learning and we're growing For Your Glory I pray God Revival would come to our church as we do the things of God we adhere to the word of God the joy of the Lord becomes strength to us we willingly Lord embrace your goodness and mercy to us forgive us Lord of doubting and forgive us of fear Lord of the unknown let Faith be stronger Faith Lord be stronger as we step out in Jesus name I love you and I trust you tonight thank you Lord somebody say in Jesus name you want Revival I do I want to be what God wants me to be and submitted to what he's doing be found doing things of God I love you guys I I believe in you I trust that God's doing a great work
