Two Things You Need to Understand
- He says he usually stays out of the teacher's liberty, but tonight he needs to explain something so there are no misunderstandings
- God will never tell you to do something wrong, and he will never tell you to say something wrong
- The devil will never tell you to say something right and good, because it is not in him
Is It Me, Is It Flesh, Is It God, Is It the Enemy?
- The greatest challenge is knowing whose voice it is — me, flesh, God, or the enemy
- Some are scared to death to let God use them because they feel like a mess — get past that and ask God to help you if you make a mess of it
- The church needs more than ever sensitive people who will respond and act the way the Spirit of God is leading
Pause and Ask One More Time
- From his own experience: God puts things on his heart and mind and spirit to say or do for somebody or a situation
- If he is quick to move, he blows right past the whisper, so he pauses to clarify the voice and make sure he is out of the way
- Ask one more time — Lord, is this now? — and if the opportunity is there, move
- Hesitate and wait, and somebody else may go and do the thing God told you to do
When the Lord Tells You to Stop Somebody
- The Lord has specifically told him to stop some after church: you were supposed to say this
- Listen to him carefully, one hundred percent
- If you are praying, you are in the word, and you are listening — and you have a question about it — come and ask him, and he can help you with it

i realize that the last several weeks brother gibson's done a fantastic job teaching and i'm thankful for his capacity to do so i try to stay out of that and let him have his liberty but tonight as it turns out i feel like i need to explain something so that there's no misunderstandings two things god will never god listen pay listen to me god will never tell you to do something wrong he'll never tell you to say something wrong he won't for two the devil will never tell you to say something right and good because it's not in him because i realized probably the majority of you in this room as long as you've known the lord that is probably the greatest challenge you face is it me is it flesh is it god is it the enemy am i right the very simple way that he presented you can and you need to you still have the battle is it me is it flesh is it the enemy is it god is it my pizza that i ate whatever what is it now two things you need to understand if god is leading you to do something listen to me my experience with the lord i pause to clarify the voice god is specifically put on my heart and my mind and my spirit things to say or do or whatever for somebody or a situation and i learned that if i'm quick to move i blow right past the whisper so i pause yes lord some of you probably even seen me standing here the spirit moving and i pause trying to make sure that i'm out of the way for a moment you understand so you pause and then you ask one more time lord is this now is this now and if the opportunity's there it's a noun you move you move because he may come up and say wait has the lord ever told you to do something and you you hesitated and you waited and and you didn't and somebody else went and did it huh smarty pants you should have moved here's another thing last of it i'm not teaching this lesson i'm just simply trying to emphasize what he's saying some of y'all are scared to death to let god use you because you feel like you're just a hot piece of mess you need to get past that and realize you know what lord if i make a mess of this will you help me some will act will begin we'll try and the lord has specifically told me to stop you some of you felt my hand before after church i've come to somebody and say you were supposed to say this listen to me carefully 100 percent and the church of now we need more than ever sensitive people that will respond and act the way the spirit of god's leading that's y'all so if you're praying you're in the word you're listening if you have a question about it you come ask me you come and ask me i can help you with it
