everybody needs a pen and a piece of cardboard it's thin cardboard hey man good to see everybody out tonight we are finishing we have talked actually for the last 10 or 10 or 11 weeks we've been talking about our purpose we've been talking about how we as apostolic Sneed to be plugging in to our communities our neighbors need to be allowing our testimony to reach out to someone I hope and pray that over the last several weeks that some of you have been challenged all of us are hope challenged to to try to make a difference in someone's life is that okay is it all right to to be a positive influence instead of a negative influence you may know the negative influences what's a negative influence cake is a good influence horton vegan cake assets into whatever that is what's a negative influence your wife you can't do that Seth you gotta go home to anybody what's a negative what's up what's a herb yes you are what's a positive info you had a now you had an answer Thank You Cody okay very well well somebody have a negative influence in your life I didn't say a negative person influencing y'all are looking left and right you shouldn't do that keep out of trouble how about a positive influence are there positive influences in your life you see cake and you'll see I don't get two anyway yeah your wife husband some of you the your kids are somewhere in there your jobs you know there's influences in your life I trust that over the last many weeks that we have been talking about finding purpose being a vessel in the hands of the king being people of purpose I trust that over the last several weeks I've gone over how to how to how to teach a Bible study last week what we did was we brought two different countries to a common ground then we were able to ask questions and just simply converse remember that last week it's been about a week ago and talked about things to bring just a cominis to the table tonight will be the final of this particular series and I believe I don't want you to listen to passion for just a moment I am 100% convinced that over the last several months there has been a slide and attack there's been a wave of influence from outside that has attacked some of your minds some of your homes at some of your jobs your finer things have gone on in people's lives in that are connected to this church I'm convinced of that but I'm also convinced that when we begin to talk about helping others find Jesus that answers begin to come to many of us and through those answers I believe that God is beginning to allow us to see victory in our lives this past week has anybody received a miracle in your life come on help me yeah I have anybody else today on the interstate girl slam on her brakes car went sideways went the other way went the other way went down the ditch like Lord you know she was right in front of me I mean to push her off no choke choke but the Lord was hand was on me thankful for that thankful for that for the last few days I've been climbing around up in the rafters of a church trying to finish hanging some speakers and I don't do as good as I used to do at Heights I like Heights they don't bother me but when I'm hyped and I'm 30 feet in the air and I'm trying to crimp this thing that takes a hundred pounds of pressure brother Damon it ain't it ain't easy for a young guy like me so I'd Stephen helping me come on buddy alright that's how I used to do it point is this the hand of the Lord is on his people God is working things out in your lives you need to understand that he men we've discussed that we can be effective not simply sitting on the sidelines go with me if you were to Matthew chapter 16 Matthew chapter 6 now hang on to that pin in that piece of paper you have men but we're gonna be using go somebody read 25 thank you 26 someone Thank You verse 26 is very powerful what is a man profited if he gains the whole world loses his own soul but it's theis got a question mark there and it's almost as if I need that present this in another way what shall a man give in exchange for his soul the what shall a man give in exchange attaches or or amplifies the first part what will a man do if he gains the whole world but his soul is lost it is that an interesting question how many of you have a value on your soul how much is your soul worth to you would you exchange everything that you have for your soul no because that's foolish you would think you know that's 100 bucks 200 bucks 20 million we always put a financial number on it because we understand numbers some of us the fact is there's a thousand things that you can give in exchange for truth you can barely lie you can believe a falsehood you can follow false teachers and so forth what Jesus is establishing here is he tells his followers we've been talking about disciples he says if you come after me you got to first do up deny yourself how many love to deny yourself well it was mentioned a while ago somebody here likes cake that's a bad influence it was called so what do you have to do deny yourself the third piece come on have a little bit of fact of the matter stay with me a moment well we've been talking about over the past several months is this to deny yourself to let your dreams and your aspirations be altered so that the plans and the purpose and aspirations of God begin to unfold in your life I will tell you honest okay I will tell you I didn't think when I was growing up that I would be standing in a podium on there in a pulpit preaching the Word of God now there were preachers in my family my grandfather was one of them old-style preachers my grandmother I've talked about her a lot I've talked about my parents and and the influence that they had in my life I've seen the old-timers preach and stuff but but growing up when I graduated high school I went in the military that's what I wanted to do three years into that it didn't turn out the way I thought so I said I'm done with it my hitch was up I got out I said alright I'll go to school I went to school - I got my avionics degree working on airplanes the avionics electronics on airplanes yeah this would be good that's what I'm gonna do I can make money at this guarantee come out of school making twenty eight bucks an hour carry the tooth that's enough for lunch and when not two years later when I graduated because it was one of those compressed courses eight hours a day five days a week when I graduated nothing 205 or in my class three people had jobs the rest of us were out there going I'm on ok Lord now what so I went into computers said alright I can do this this is easy I figured that out in here we go this was back before Windows this was even back for that before these this rotary phone and yeah ok you don't see that that's before these is before these things it was way back when computers weren't cool because they'd make you mad I remember the first dial-up modem somebody pick up the phone anyway so I thought I'd try that they had several other jobs I could put a roof on a house I could put siding or do brickwork I could do plumbing I do electrical I could do all these things because I was trying to just live and then God calls me at 25 years old to preach the gospel boom and everything changed everything changed everything changed now all of a sudden I get out of school I'm like what am I gonna do and God begins to open doors and I begin to pray and I'll make the foolish mistake of saying God your will be done and next thing I know Gus is good go to South America is that like a new restaurant opened down the street no so why we went didn't know what else to do we saw what we had when y'all heard my story here we are years later and I'm standing here now with gray hair looking at people that making some tough choices and I don't mind saying this I'll tell you it's honest into with pastor I never would have planned this life for me but when I submit to God you submit to God your life begins to take shape as God does it and I stood this very weak talking to a pastor that I'm doing this install with and he asked me about my family and I told him I have a son that's this old he's married we graduate I got a daughter that's this old she's working and and I think and four you know I stood and cried and four in that man I do it right now cuz I got let it go he looked at me said I know what you're talking I said now I know how my mom and dad felt if I could hug my dad I would if I could hug my mom said mom thank you for letting me go now I got to do that cuz I ain't goin whether for cry I'm too old for that I never would pick all of that never what I picked that would you have picked what God is doing in your life no some of you ain't smart enough to have the jobs you have God has blessed you and things have happened if it were your job that your son arts would would would equal to what would you be doing don't answer that you'll be so depressed Jesus comes on the scene and what happens everything changes everything in fact there may have been a change in your life when you fell in love with the Lord and you began to follow him became a disciple of Jesus it might even be that your family and friends called you crazy anybody silly that's foolishness and so you had to make tough choices and you had to maybe say you know what this is gonna be tough but I feel like this is what God is leaving me to do therefore I place my life in the hands of the Lord God and I'm gonna trust him I'm gonna believe him good days bad days ugly days anybody enjoy I just went to our family reunion you guys you know your family time how many does it have a wonderful time depending on what familier with right some families it's really fun and then there's those other ones and you're sitting there going this is really fun can we go now can I had enough fun how much do I have to have because in a few hours this is not gonna be fun anymore I mean I'm talking about you're the weird one you're the strange one and by the end of it when you're leaving there I'm so glad you came let's blow you I just love yo you're just so whole something holy okay I love you don't forget I was here tell me I'm line anybody point I make is this God's been good to me God has been good to you God has blessed you I'm going to show you something else no to notice the power hmm the power of the voice of the master Matthew chapter 4 look at this verse number 8 team Matthew chapter 4 verse 18 somebody read for me please two guys brothers fishing I mean let me say fishing fishing they had a job they had a career things were happening they knew how to make money they knew how to do it they were very versed they knew how what they they they had learned it probably from their parents or they had learned it from I don't know they were into this they're fishermen but somebody read for me if you would verse 19 what makes no sense I'm a Fisher but I fish where for fish hence I'm a fisherman and what happened what they do in verse 20 what they do how is that even possible does that even make sense to anyone anybody well yeah it was it's that's just what you do you think no I'm telling you Jesus has the power in his voice to change things in your life my life I don't know about you but when I fell in love with Jesus he I'm out of I might have been raised sleeping under church pews or intent revivals cuz I was a young little pup coming I may have been all that but there came a day when I had to say Lord this is what I gotta figure out for me I'm so glad my grandparents and my parents and all but Lord the truth is is when mom and dad shout or do what they do and my grandmother does what she does and all these things happen Lord I don't feel nothing and I'm not about to let my granny shout for me and so things changed in my life and I have seen multiple times in multiple countries and cultures how that very bowl when Jesus calls come on I got something for you to do you say I got it I'm gonna do it I'm gonna chant oh I'm gonna do what you want me to do that's called discipleship hard-working honest men giving themselves into their jobs they were trained to do it they were skilled they had the experience no doubt the families that taught them and here Jesus simply walks by and says follow me I'll make you a Fisher of men and they said okay and they walked and they took off right after Jesus now we don't know the backstory do we you can go into history books you can go into theological books and you can study how that there was already this thing going on but the fact of the matter is they had to forsake everything to say I will be a follower of Jesus follow me we can read through the Gospels we understand time and again Jesus would come to somebody follow me follow me look where I'm going follow me follow me follow me I'm gonna fast forward this 2019 listen carefully I realize we live in a generation and in a culture in our world that when somebody says follow me the first thing you do is what don't follow why why you know trust huh am i right follow me man I'll show you how to get there okay who's driving Lauren don't follow her no no no why because she uses GPS and she don't listen just sorry baby and Christian no power I'm joking hey the point is this there are some folk if you follow him you already know the nature right you know that it's gonna be okay and some folk are simply out there too distract you turn you away they may know what a what up a pyramid scheme is what is that what is it come on anybody that's that's thing man so it's three three points top bottom and left and right what's a pyramid scheme somebody who has a business says okay I need to get 15 people down here then those 15 people need to get 20 people knows they all need to get one and it goes down and it says big and the point of this is because you are as they're growing this way down you're doing what you're going up so you get to the top they're making $100,000 a year every one of them that's what the guy told me anyway and I'm like why do I get to that point oh this are here going to get you 45 people to follow you I don't even know 45 no see that's a problem need to be out there talking and what's this doing for you well about that I'm waiting to get my Lamborghini out of shop and when I get it tell my wait a minute so what do you do dude Kyle amber Jeannie he's on the top so I'm gonna keep on going and moving so that I can do the same and what do you have to do get more people stay with me what happens then we just figure out most of the time is what I'm doing all work and so you back away Trust goes out the window things don't happen the way you plan what you thought and imagine in your mind isn't at all what it was about years ago I took a job doing this sales thing and I said you know what I can make a lot of money doing this and three days later I quit I mean this is a silliest thing there's almost starving to death doing this and everybody's like oh you can't quit how much money you make like make nothing now okay what am I saying to you we have a hard time trusting folk jesus walks by Peter and his brother and you follow me and they go okay Matthew come on man oh I'm with you he goes and he's gathering these folks and they're taking off when Jesus into me carefully do you think for one moment that Jesus haphazardly walked by these men and said yeah you'll do no you know what Jesus had in mind he had a purpose he had a plan for them Peter I need somebody you don't know this this is gonna sound so foreign to you but one day one day in the future something's going to happen what do you mean Jesus you don't know if I told you right now you wouldn't get it you'd run away screaming hands in the air tell me about I'm not going to and three plus years later they're walking down this road and Jesus looks at him and he said get behind me Satan I have prayed for you because they're desiring to sift you as wheat and I'm want you to be strong in this he's called me the devil now I'm sorry if I don't call people the devil enough maybe that make him happy I don't know but Peter didn't have any idea years few years earlier what was he doing fishing and now he's got this purpose that literally is going to change the world listen what happened here the church as they begin to grow and things begin to half and the planting ones and the things were happening so fast Paul he was another one of those guys that he had he had a job didn't he had no problem he had studied at the feet of Gamaliel he arts he understood Sciences he could do he could infiltrate places he could communicate with the high and the mighty and the low and the humble and he just had that ability and all of a sudden Saul had this experience and to where he was blind until what the Lord God removed Skelly's and now this is the job you've got to do notice what Paul this guy writes 1st Corinthians chapter number 11 stay with me somebody first corinthians his first letter to the church at corinth chapter 11 verse number 1 be ye followers of already be ye followers of even as I also am of Christ question what was the last time you told somebody about God and then you said follow me anybody does that happen often anyone don't be shot okay like I'm saying nothing her any raises hand doing that or nothing yeah why why don't we say that because what we mess up we know us better than other folk know us mm-hmm some of us if I may some of us don't want the responsibility if someone else some of us don't want to be accountable to somebody else looking to us Paul's sin he said you follow me I'm following Christ he was so secure in what the Lord God was doing in his life he looks at them and he says you come after come on follow me because I'm following Jesus I praise you brethren I lift you I give you that that you remember me in all things again me came on the scene twice and keep the ordinances as I there's another mean word I delivered them to you but I would have you know that the head of every man is Christ the head of the woman is the man in the head of Christ is God he's given explanation here now in 2019 there ain't a person out here that's trying to proclaim this because we're all equal we never all been equal as that okay there's folk out there a whole lot smarter than me that ain't fair there's a few folks that ain't near as smart as me that ain't fair for them so how are we equal am i stepping on top I'm not saying something that's wrong the fact that matter is we live in a society in a world that say I think that I just have how come they and why are they and why is is why and how come on I'll tell you I had this conversation this the again is the last couple of weeks I've been talking somebody in saying you know what the guys in high school that made good grades I knew I could have made those good grades but what did I not do I in study I didn't submit I didn't subject to it you know I got to my senior year high school set and my counselor you know they got they're forced to go through everybody so they make sure they get them out the door goes through my paperwork calls me in the office I'm like yeah I'll graduate early whatever that means you don't have enough math credits to graduate I do I beg your pardon you know yes I do i sat through math class hundred times I know but you impasse it what it doesn't add up so I had to take a semester of math I was good at math I could add one in three equals five every time I was good at it but I didn't have the credit so guess what I had to do as a senior in high school I had to take math algebra no pre-algebra that way my guidance counselor said y'all laughing with me my guy has kind of said you probably be more apt to pass that one okay so I'm a senior and everybody around me in the class is a freshman my teacher Roz was the wrestling coach hey everybody graduating this year and they're like and then the wrestling coach hey Raymond we go down to Hardee's and get us biscuits and sausage nobody else in here has a life story how will it affect my grade mr. Levi far as I'm concerned you alright yes sir I'll be right back I like come back thirty minutes later with a sack full of biscuits set him on there he said like an A to me I got my credit in math I'm not joking graduated yes sir went in the military and everywhere I went electronics digital computer stuff and I'm going overlord and then I took a class on binary math you may know what binary math is anybody sound smarter yeah that's zeros and ones zeros and ones one zero one one zero zero one one one that's a better math code you don't know about that I don't really eat it but I passed the class stay with me stay with me stay with me here's the fact I had to learn all this stuff and I figured out way back then I could have done a whole lot better how is it that I can be mad or angry at somebody who applied themselves at anything and made it and now I know again we live in 2019 and we see the lifestyle of the rich and famous all the time you see it on social media you see it in it so if it's on your on your Facebook it's on your snap face it's on all those things that you get on to instruct extra stuff and you get on there and you see this 19 year old kid that's driving a Lamborghini and you're like man that's what I need and that guy probably any worked a day in his life and I'm saying how did he get that car and then he wrecked it and laughed about I went oh my lord my dad would have spanked me for doing that and I'm like this ain't fair how come I don't have it let me tell you what's going on in our world can I be honest with somebody we need to be following Jesus getting folk to follow the greatest thing that's ever happened but we get sidetracked with our vision because instead of somebody saying follow me I'm gonna show you Christ we are sidetracked I got a brother man he's a computer program he's so smart I was out changing tires and rear-ending my truck and the starter the alternator the carburetor tearing it down putting new transmission I'm like man this is all messy work I was in high school and 80 my brother come down he's gradually I said you want to help me with this I don't care to know anything about that excuse me I'll make enough money to pay for somebody to do that I said yes you ain't so smart yeah you need no alternator is so I graduate and Here I am building on these trucks and stuff cuz I ain't got no money and my brother saying I gotta have the oil change in my car and he takes it down to the place I'm like it's not even possible somebody else will change my I didn't even know but you know how much money I had I had a dollar for each quart of oil and three dollars for the filter he's going down with the $20 bills I can't even do that stay with me why would I be mad at him when he made that choice I'm standing here today God has been so good to me I am I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that if I were to ask every single one of you about what God has done in your life if you were to think about it instantly you could say I don't deserve what I have God's been good to me why don't you lean on that build on that therefore I realized that being a disciple maker it's difficult because it's already been stated we mess up we fail we stumble and therefore we don't want to hold somebody else accountable to our mistakes or what we do the fact of the matter is Jesus Christ makes the difference if you begin to talk to somebody about the Lord God do you think the Lord God's gonna leave you there by yourself first of all didn't you pray about that first is God ever just dropped a word in you're harder in your mind see ever helped bring something out that you dread six years ago how does that even happen I've been in positions before I'm not the smartest I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer and I face to face with somebody and and you know our guy said man I don't want anything with that brain washed up and not just for whatever reason I said buddy it's not brain wash it's blood bought what's that mean oh I'll tell you what that means I'm sorry my phone's ringing I got to go all of it I don't know what that I had to go home and figure it out all of a sudden come back hey you know what blood-bought me he said now I don't need to know anymore Mike we're not figured out I need to study to show myself approved a what a work mean what's a workman do maybe the problems not our testimony our witness and all maybe the fact is is we don't want to work to know more about the Lord as individuals turn their sights from what they are looking at and they begin to look at God things changed order is instilled in them Paul told the people he said you follow me I'm following Christ what did the folks say what'd they say well now hang on a minute mister saw a guy yeah we know your past you do this and that no they said okay here goes man church is happening I'm going to mess it don't either call I'm going to Athens I'm going here here there's like okay let's go do it and whenever he'd go things would happen why because he settled in himself I follow Jesus I follow Jesus the head of every man is Christ the head of the one is the man the head of Christ is God what is necessary to understand that is that you spend time submitting yourself to it come on you want to order in your home put yourself in the proper place that God has established but pastor there's this and this and okay you let God use you through that well what is it like if this happen or this person is not or this so I'll tell you what God will help you through that you think God's thrown off by it the reason if you'll settle it if you'll settle it within yourself my home is not the best place in the world I've got issues this and this is going on but you know what somebody out there needs to know God in spite of that therefore when I tell somebody about the Lord when I'm helping when I tell somebody you follow me I know where Jesus is I don't have to worry about them looking at all of my bad and all am i negative I can say God you have worked in my life and the Lord God will show up and he will work in your invitation from creation there's been order again what we live in a society it's different but this is not a created macho thing this is not a created me to thing this is not a I don't understand it therefore let me just throw this out no this is a God has always been in control thing therefore you submit yourself to that and as you learn to follow Jesus you learned that he has a reason for you pursuing him and as you're pursuing him he is opening doors he was doing things in your life your children need to understand that there is order in the kingdom your friends are looking for order in their lives I'm sit is do you realize that babies are born without order how many of you have newborns and they sleep eight hours a night and they never need a diaper change and they fix their own meals anyone anyone at all please anyone what do they need they need order they need order that's right Jade me a lot of it some more than others order Y a wooden spoon that's another title for another day order why are they looking for order because they're not born with it you know why kids press against the envelope they want to know how far they can go simple honestly it's what it is and if you allow the envelope to go guess what don't be mad at them kids do very badly with a wide open road kid kids need to know their structure because if they have structure what are they doing they feel comfortable they feel secure stay with me it's the same thing in the kingdom follow me I'm following Christ yeah but what if those new converts have issues you know what they're looking for they're looking for spiritual structure can you give that to them yes you can how you can say to them you know how to get this you need to pray you know how to do that you need to tie you know how to do you need to give any offering I do that you need to make yourself available you know I need and on and on you go on and on you go and you're helping them because you're learning as well notice something here that I got my on the clock we're okay as new disciples come in there's told if you're gonna be a follower of Christ you got to deny yourself take up your cross follow after Jesus that's an easy thing to do right no sometimes it's not but notice here in John chapter 10 John chapter 10 verse 27 somebody read that for me John chapter 10 verse 27 28 somebody else 29 I and my father are one I was given to them to be the one that would be the intercessor to be the one that would couldn't it to be the one that you know what you as a human you cannot get to God why because your nature is sin but we have a way to get to God through how through his word Jesus was the word robed in flesh you go through the word you can get to God you know how mankind got to God after they sinned God said I need blood to be shed but when you do that this is what's gonna happen that's gonna be a word you'd follow that word I'll lead you what's happening again 2019 is folkore not considering the word I'm talking just the world in general and then when the church struggles with the word what happens I'd love to help you but I'm really not sure how stay with me my sheep hear my voice I know him they follow me that's what said here John 10 once you get on the path that leads to the master he is leading you you learn his voice how he speaks what he says his characteristics fact you can take five sheep herders that have five different herds of sheep they can come together in one at one night bring all of the sheep together and a fold put post around so that they're all kept together kept safe spend the night there's a known fact the next morning the Shepherd's can get up and they've got to travel back to their homes they've got sheep in this fold their sheep from another shepherd their sheep from another sheep from another all mixed together true fact that Shepherd does not have to go through that flock of sheep and pull his sheep out you know how he gets them he simply turns they opened the gate of the fold and as the one Shepherd will begin to walk away from the fold singing speaking talk using his voice and the sheep that are in that folder will begin to separate themselves and come out and follow after him another Shepherd can begin his the sheep know the voice and they begin the trave doesn't matter how many sheep are there they will they have been trained to follow their Shepherd and they will follow and within just a few minutes time five different Shepherds can be going five different directions and these sheep are going it's built into the Sheep they're trained when a Shepherd has sheep in a in a and a little you little babies born first thing this is so incredible this is why when Jesus compares people to sheep it's so mind-boggling that what that sheep that mama sheep wants to know before she will accept that little lamb she wants the Shepherd to hold it to accept it and she'll look at that and she'll say okay if he likes it I like it known fact that if sheep are born and no Shepherds around the mother sheep has to make herself connect to that baby but if the Shepherd's there and holds it the mother goes okay got this because that's the nature of it it's the same with us if my child is born I had two babies born I grabbed them up they didn't know me from Adam but as I began to love them and build a relationship with them I've said is a hundred times babies are the coolest things you don't ever see them you never hear them you never know nothing about it as soon as they arrive your whole world goes bloop and you would die for them because there's something there God does the same thing for you and the friends that you're trying to disciple and lead to God you know what's going on God says I see that that can be a new baby and I'm gonna love this one thing I can love that one and there can be a connection there you follow me I'm following Jesus he's working through me knowing that you are following Jesus is the difference that you're make that you need to know is what's happening in your life so as your disciple making you need to know I'm not by myself God is leading me so much comes to a disciple maker so much anointing and unction comes to a disciple maker I will say this as your pastor I love you I believe in you I believe God is doing some fabulous things some of our frustrations in here is because we're trying to do something for God if we would just simply lead somebody to God things would take their whole different turn in our lives just help somebody fall in love with Jesus introduce them to the body of Christ let him know the Word of God is life and it's truth in its peace and there's love there I want to encourage every single one of you to be a disciple maker come on this isn't rocket science you're not gonna know I don't know B you don't know everything they don't you just do what the Lord is leading you now every one of you I'm like my time is coming to a brother drunk come on every one of you received a little card and you got a neat pen this is what I'm gonna ask us to do to finish this series I trust and I hope that over the past several weeks and the lessons being taught the the videos that we've went through and so forth I'm trusting that that somehow some way through this God has been triggering something in your mind in your heart in your spirit I want everybody in this room please to participate in this that card I want you to write on that card the name of the person that God has been dealing with you about to reach out to because I know he has been some of you God has been so very specific your co-worker your neighbor your your family member somebody that you don't even know person that you met at the store doesn't matter somebody that works for you with you next to you across the way somebody god is laying people on your heart I want you to write that down on that card please it could be a family member that that's that doesn't understand you just want to lead them to God it could be somebody that somebody that you don't really get along with and you know the difference they they're so hateful and mean what they need is Jesus come on everybody I want you to write a name on that card please need you to write it on that card please I stand with me please I want you to bring that card to the front I want you to lay it on this altar for me please well everybody bring your card everybody bring the card lay it on the altar please and just stay up here for a moment come on I know I know that some of you are scared of death to put a name down because you don't know what patch is going to ask you about some of you want to put down five hundred names because everybody's needs Jesus that's true we all do there's a name on the card that you that you wrote it wasn't a name that you fabricated hopefully you didn't put a Donald Duck or Mickey Mouse or something like that listen to me carefully we've been talking about discipleship listen carefully this is a heaven and hell issue this is not just a better life or something better for somebody or something good now this is heaven in hell issue this is what God is doing this is what God did for you somebody somebody took the time to help you somebody is still helping you I'm believing that we're gonna we're gonna pray over these names I don't know how I'd come on through I don't know when I don't know how long it's gonna take I don't know I do know this if you took the time and God put that person's a person's name on your heart you've been you know him you follow them you you you understand them their family their neighbors or co-workers whatever it is I want you to know that God takes it very interesting he takes it very interesting he says this is this is cool that I've put this in them and now they're willing to pray for it anybody believe in prayer because this is what it will happen some of you are so sincere that you're willing tonight as we pray to put this person in the hand of the Lord and what the Lord is going to do is say that's what I've been waiting for you to do take responsibility for that person and now what's going to happen over the next few days and weeks is you're going to be faced with this person and you don't know how you don't know what in your mind you won't even be able to fabricate what could happen or transpire but God is going to open the door for you to simply share Jesus and when it happens you're not going to be wowed astonished or blown away you're gonna stand back and say what what god help me not Mexican help me just yield it and let it use me I wanna I want people to follow me as I'm following you I may not do it all right and all that God if you're in it and you're helping me I can lead them to you this is what we're gonna do I want you to pray right now the person to your left and right I want you to pray for their name look you don't know what it is perhaps you pray for God my neighbor the one standing here he or she they're they're believing that you're gonna open the door for communication for disciple-making to happen I pray for them first come on I want you to sincerely pray for that person and then we're gonna pray for our own we're gonna reach and help somebody else reach theirs and then we're going to reach for alright now pray for your neighbor Lord tonight we are gathered here for the last several weeks we've been talking about disciple-making we've been talking about being fruitful vessels for your kingdom we've been praying on and believing Lord we've been studying your word honoring you Lord for giving and and understanding but lord this is the hour this is the moment right now Lord we pray we bind together Lord I ask you right now to anoint these names that have been written on these cards these family members Lord these coworkers Lord these these neighbors God the one Lord some of them are in such dire need of you and I pray tonight Lord that you had opened the doors you would make an opportunity God for the connection to happen in whatever way you see fit I pray Lord for every saint that's in this room that had the courage and the faith to write that name down lay it on the altar and give it to you I'm believing your Lord on their jobs you're gonna give them an opportunity to tell them about the good news of Jesus Christ I'm believing Lord Jesus in the home and I to store the market God daily there's going to be open opportunities Jesus that we can become disciple makers followers Lord God following you and others Lord leading them to follow us as we follow you oh Jesus you make up the difference you're the healer you're the waymaker you're the one God that provides but Lord we are vessels in your hand come on somebody believe it right now pray for that name that you wrote down god of glory give me an opportunity Lord to be a witness don't let me mess it up Lord don't don't let me be foolish about it but God let me be sensitive to it Jesus you're not gonna require maybe for me to preach or teach you just simply want me to be a smile in front of them god I pray for wisdom to know what to do when the opportunity comes I love you Jesus in advance I thank you Lord for what you're doing and what you're going to do now right now come I want you to worship the Lord I want you to see it in your mind's eye that person in a church house that person in a Bible study that person in an altar that person receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost come on you need to see that person in a tank of baptism going down in the name of Jesus come on you need to visualize it you need to allow God to let it come to pass in you so that it can actually come to pass in that person come on rejoice in the Lord right now I'm believing it I'm receiving it in the name of Jesus to God be the glory to God be the glory to God be the glory turn to your neighbor right now say you're not perfect tell them you're not perfect but you're well able come on you're well able to be a disciple maker amen come on somebody needs Jesus and they're waiting for you they're waiting for you now we've prayed over them we're believing over them now I want you to leave this room tonight saying god I don't know how when where what I'm not sure how long but Lord I'm asking you to let a door be open so that I could walk through it so that they could see you in me let them know and understand the work that's been done is not by my hand but yours and help me God to express that to them through love of the word through the love of the word I plead your blood over every one of us tonight in this room Jesus that the glory of the Lord rests upon every home that's here lord help us to become the disciple makers that you have called us to be in the name of Jesus bless the remainder of our week gun keeper keep your hand upon us Lord each one I pray let us walk Lord with boldness into the harvest laboring God for you in Jesus name we're gonna come back this weekend Lord rejoicing in you in your name I plead your blood over every single one that's here God we honor you we love you and we thank you in advance in Jesus name somebody say men a man I love all of you I'm so thankful you came tonight god bless you shake hands one with another be friendly
